Hi, I saw one of your latest posts talking about the gender "segregation" where you state that women's only spaces shouldn't exist. So, if that was actually real, do you think me, a cis lesbian woman, should I be using a changing room or a bathroom used also by people with penises?
I would feel very uncomfortable being naked near someone who is biologically a male and I have the right to say no, no matter how they react, cis women's feelings matter too and nobody can tell me when I should be uncomfortable, same thing goes for sports, cis women could get physically hurt if a biological male played against them and this had already happened in a school in the US.
This more confirms how you far left activists don't care about us
I do not care about people's disgust when it comes to means of segregation. Do you think that during the 1960s there was no white person who felt uncomfortable sharing a bathroom with someone with dark skin when desegregation hit bathrooms and locker rooms? Do you think there's no white person who feels that way now (hell, a big reason American suberbs are a thing is that it allows white people to live in white only places post civil rights laws)?
How is your desire to feel comfortable through segregation any diffrent? There is a group you feel uncomfortable with in a space so you want it segregated, I suggest you either not use that space or find a way to be more comfortable. Society may have a responsibility for you to be safe, but there is no responsibility for you to feel safe.
And do you think nobody wants to be segregated away from you? You're literally a queer person, there are people who do not want you in public because of the exact same uncomfortablity with you. You probably have way more in common with trans people than most cis people do. If many people were allowed to remove what makes them uncomfortable from society, you would be forced into the closet. This isn't a hypothetical, the same people pushing for removal of trans people from society have same sex relationships as their next target.
Uncomfortablity is not something society can or should protect you from.

this is the same reason why blatantly transmisogynistic transmasc “ex” terfs and detransitioners are welcomed back to community as well. now sure there’s variables here, like that some people really wanna believe that people can change even if they don’t want to, but these are ultimately still deeply informed by the root issue: that transmisogyny in community is generally seen as gauche or poor form rather than a serious problem that needs to be stood against. this is how you wind up with self described trans positive lesbians still making excuses for and palling around butches who can’t go a day without talking about how female masculinity is at risk from liberal gender ideology; sure they sound bad, but they don’t mean it like that, they’re just, like, being really butch, it’s not that big of a deal. everyone gets second, third, fourth chances and more regardless of what they say or do when it comes to transmisogyny for the simple reason that the majority still struggles to give a shit

I've noticed a lot of transfem sapphics & lesbians get really worried and nervous in lesbian & sapphic spaces because they think they "don't belong" or that people won't be into them. I'm here to say that you're WRONG and I'm personally giving every tgirl a kiss on the lips. I love women

Anyway, my opinion on the current trans infighting is that any portrayal of intracommunity discourse as transfem vs. transmasc inherently obfuscates the shared fight against transmisogynists and transandrophobes. It simplifies a complex and varied community to two opposing sides instead of as a fight against transphobia in all its forms. Every trans person is systematically oppressed due to being trans, sometimes in noticably similar ways and sometimes in different ways depending on various factors; Any trans person can be victimized by any other person, trans or cis, and the overarching transphobia and bigotry can be used to excuse it. One's own oppression cannot and should not be as a weapon to silence another's, no matter how well-intentioned it may seem.
PLEASE listen to other trans people in good faith and understand that we're all in the same boat, regardless of our specific trans identities.

It's late and I don't give a shit about being eloquent. I don't get how AFAB non binary/GNC/agender/genderqueer and transmasc people can be comfortable in a space that doesn't make space for trans women. If they're excluding trans AMAB experiences, they're not respecting your gender identity. Full stop.
The mindfuck of realizing AT PRIDE that as an afab non-binary person, the lesbian spaces that excluded trans women meant that those spaces did not see me as anything but a woman by what's in my pants. It's invalidation by association and I don't get how that doesn't track for people.

In the midst of all this I cant help but wish there was some dedicated online community space for transfems (Please do not invite me to discord servers)

i also think there’s something to be said about the fact that trans spaces tend to become … transfem spaces. i’m in a couple trans discord servers that are hypothetically just Trans Servers but have become near-exclusively focused on trans women and femmes, to the point where i’m in one where the ‘transgender’ role is often pinged for memes like ‘transfem stereotype bingo’ despite there also being separate transfem and transmasc roles. trans men and mascs end up needing to create transmasc specific spaces just to not get erased in their own community—which only furthers the idea that general trans spaces = transfem spaces, that the default trans experience is transfemininity and oh yeah, mascs are here too i guess.
and to be clear i don’t think these discord servers are doing it deliberately or maliciously! i just think that the erasure of trans men in every facet of the world has inevitably bled into the trans community too. and this invisibility leads to trans women and femmes being the ‘default,’ much as cis women are viewed as the default in cisfeminist spaces.
to be visible at all, transmascs must make spaces focused toward us. which of course leads to issues like an inability to have balanced discussions about trans oppression in some cases; we’re either spoken over or the only ones speaking. and i’ve seen people accused of being separatists for wanting transmasc focused spaces because ‘there aren’t transfem focused spaces*”—ignoring, of course, that general trans spaces are in fact transfem focused.
