Y’all, I’m in deep. I’ve fallen so hard for these blorbos from my brain that it feels criminal I can’t dive into Tumblr and find fanart, fic, or even a single unhinged post analyzing their dynamic. But then it hit me like a ton of bricks: I actually have to publish the book first for that to happen.

Here’s the pitch: It’s a space novel and a Western novel, but not a space Western. It’s a murder mystery you can read by the pool, but it’s also about longing, found family, and a trio of complicated, messy, queer characters navigating love and loss. Think:

Letters from the Moon.

A cowboy-turned-reluctant-sleuth in the American West.

A postmaster who knows everyone’s secrets—and might be keeping some of his own.

When an astronaut gets stuck on the Moon thanks to bureaucratic red tape, her only lifeline to Earth is through letters to her husband, a rugged cowboy trying to unravel the mystery of a suspicious death in the valley where their ranch is. But the real heart of the story? The local postmaster, who delivers their letters and becomes entwined in their lives in ways no one expects.

It’s got:

High-stakes space drama.

Small-town intrigue with Western vibes.

Queer romance, slow burn, and found family feels.

A murder mystery that keeps you guessing.

And a love story that unfolds one letter at a time.

I want to see memes about the chaotic astronaut, playlists inspired by the brooding cowboy, and fanart of the postmaster’s tiny office filled with secrets. I want analysis of how letters—and love—travel vast distances. I want you to be obsessed with the painfully slow burn as much as I am. But I know that requires me actually finishing and publishing the book first.

So consider this me yelling into the void and hoping the void screams back: Would you read this? Would you ship the trio? Would you solve the mystery, root for the romance, and swoon over the letters?
