DuckTales in space is like Lost in Space for me, and it has a lot of similar premises, at least from my point of view.

The Duck family in the DuckTales reboot has a lot of similarities to the Robinson family for me.

This has randomly been in my head today and it made me realise that many people had probably not heard it, so I thought I'd share!

This is a song from the 2002 recording of Space Family Robinson. There is a SoundCloud link here to the rest of the album. Hannah's on a fair few of them, but it's a bonkers show, so give it a listen anyway!

Trivia: Space Family Robinson was created for comic books, inspired by the classic novel Swiss Family Robinson. In the mid-1960s Gold Key published comics based on many TV shows of the day. But instead of doing a comic based upon Lost in Space - which was ALSO based on the novel, and even used the family name Robinson, Gold Key made a deal to just keep publishing Space Family Robinson with the subtitle "Lost in Space". The comic kept publishing until the 1980s and they did make the Robinson father character look a bit like his TV counterpart, and the two kids - Tim and Tam - sometimes followed a similar appearance to the Robinson kids in the TV show. For people wanting an actual comic based on the TV series Lost in Space, they had to wait till the independent comics boom of the 1990s when original series actor Billy Mumy was involved in creating a comic book that continued the original TV series.
