It's kinda sad that my all time favorite monster probably won't become a monstie in any future MHS game. Imagine how much fun it would be to ride Shara Ishvalda...
I got to thinking about it, and I thought it would be neat if it hatched out of its egg in its normal form, but in the next screen where it shows the adult version of your monstie, it is in its rock armor.
Its Kinship Skill could be it shedding its armor, and using that one really cool attack it has, where it makes a laser with both of its wings.
I can dream...

2nd batch of sourdough! Lots better than the first, actually got some crumb structure this time (bc the starter is finally ready for bread)
#it's 70% hydration 20% starter and 16h bulk fermentation & 6h of proofing#I think I like the 70% hydration for now#it's still enough moisture to get that open structure but easy to work with#(hydration is the thing that makes the crumb structure open&tender so kind of the higher hydration dough u have the better the bread but th#problem with high-hydration dough is that it's real hard to work with so gotta build some skills before can move onto those#like some professionals even make 100% hydration doughs)#(the percentage is like how much water you have in comparison to the flour: 100% is like if u have 500g of flour you also have add 500g of#water or like 70%: 500g flour and 350g of water)#this is just a 250g of flour one tho bc I live alone and don't want waste/my freezer full of bread#idk if these interest anyone but idc it's my blog I'm going to be posting abt sourdough#should make up a tag for these#elvis bread#it's that one ^^ for now until (if) I can come up with a better one bc my starter is named Elvis#sourdough#april 2024#2024

My sourdough starter that I've had for several years died so I'm sad and I can't bake bread.
Not a very superstitious person but I feel I killed it with all my stress.

Bread baking pro tip: ‼️🍞‼️
Is your kitchen drafty? Cold? Can't leave things on the counter bc of cats/kids/not enough space? Struggle to get your dough to rise or proof? This is the solution.
Put your dough in a cold oven to rise, with only the oven light on.
The bulb generates just enough heat for the dough to get warm, and the closed oven means no drafts can get in.
If you're like me and will forget it in there, put a sticky note or piece of scotch tape over the oven controls with an X on it as a reminder not to preheat the oven while your dough is inside.
I could never get a good rise out of my dough living in rentals with cheap drafty windows, now I pop my sourdough in the oven with the light on and get a great rise in a couple of hours.

Spending my Sunday enjoying the little things. Wearing my cozy cute nightgown/robe set from Walmart. Savoring a delicious cup of coffee. Making a pizza dough with sourdough discard.
I went out with my old coworkers yesterday and this time there were only a couple “you’re not drinking!?” moments. This is also the 3rd time we have gotten together, it’s always a bar/brewery. I think they’re finally taking my “I’m not drinking because it messes with my stomach too much” seriously. Even though in truth I just don’t want to drink anymore. But no one really gets that excuse.

love making my own bread cause if i want sweet bread i can just make cranberry orange bread whenever i want it! and i did pic under cut uwu and it's really good with butter and it's really good with jelly and it's really good for peanut butter and banana.
