thinking about taking care of abby when she gets sick. she strikes me as one of those people who rarely ever get sick, not even a cold, but when she does it hits her hard. i’m talking can barely stand without getting dizzy. she’s so stubborn too, insisting she’s fine, telling you that you need to attend your classes or work, explaining that she’s a big girl, and can handle herself.

after a looong time of insisting that she needs someoen to take care of her, someone to help her move around, she caves, huffing and pouting, trying to pretend she’s not internally thrilled with the idea of you playing nurse all day.

once fed and medicated this woman is all over you, curled into your lap like an overgrown house cat. she’s kissing your hands (she’d make a show out of frowning and shaking her head each time you’d kiss her mouth, reminding you she’ll get you sick), murmuring soft “thank you”s and “don’t know what i’d do without you” as she drifts off into a heavy sleep, snoring and mumbling as she has the craziest fever dreams that she will force you to listen to the second she wakes up, no matter what hour it is, or if you’re sound asleep.

'Can 2 men not just be friends?'

Sure they can, infact it's rude to assume they're anything more than that if they're real-life people. Of course, just because it's rude doesn't mean your wrong but as my dad (and lots of other people I'm sure) likes to say, 'assuming makes an ass out of you and me'.

However if the 2 men in this situation are fictional then them just being friends is entirely up to interpretation.

A straight person might just see them as friends because it's content and we all like to see content that represents us -even if they already have abundances of it.

And a queer person might see them as potential lovers, both due to being more open-minded to something like that and because, as I previously said, people like to be represented.

Now I don't mean to say straight people aren't open minded because, fact is, your sexuality does not define how open you are to things. All I'm saying is a queer person is more likely to already be open-minded due to having to realise their sexuality is different from the perceived 'normal' and having to be accepting of it.

So in conclusion, yeah 2 guys can absolutely only be best pals but that might just be how only you see it, and maybe there's something you need to look deeper into if you're getting upset at people interpreting the relationship of 2 fictional guys as romantic.

I think one of my favorite parts of stone butch blues is the way it explores the relationship between butchness and transmascness. When I was a young teen in online spaces I was told I couldn't be a he/they lesbian, so for years I identified as a trans man. It wasn't a bad experience or anything, but it wasn't right for me. Eventually it started itching every time someone would call me something masculine - something that had previously brought me such queer joy. It felt like I was being erased, like people weren't really seeing all of me. Butch gender is so complicated and there aren't any easy answers. I still don't neatly fit into gender boxes, sometimes the things that make me happy "don't make sense", but I no longer care about that. My identity doesn't need to make sense to anyone else, and neither does yours

These are in no particular order but here goes:

1. Blink Gone (from Alien Stage) has been playing on loop in this house since it came out five days ago😭😂 (Also All-in is probably my fav from alnst I listen to it all the time!(Already failing at keeping this to five songs sorry))

2. Tobira no mukou e (by YeLLOW Generation) BUT! Particularly the Romi Park cover because I love love love her voice and definitely am not imagining Hange singing every time I hear that :::::))))))))))) you will be hearing about this on main at some point I'm so normal about it

3. Aot music in general Sorry this is not staying within the bounds of five songs at all but how could you possibly expect me to choose, this is like it's own list! I think My War and Shinzou wo sasageyo are my favourites at the moment tho, and I also recently found a gorgeous finnish cover of Nisennen moshiku wa nimannen go no kimi e that destroyed me even more than the original if that's even possible😭💔

4. Matoja (by PMMP) Would be a crime not to include some finnish music here, and I really love PMMP! They've been around since I was little and I thought I'd never get to see them live since they stopped performing in 2013 but last summer they made a comeback and I got to be there, it was literally a dream come true. :'D This is an angry song (like a lot of them are but they have a lot of variety in moods and subjects!) called Worms, raging at and mocking an abusive ex and leaving them behind, I love the energy of it

5. Ainsi bas la vida (by Indila) Me pretending I still know french after not studying for five years :) ok but for real I just really like Indila's songs and come back to them again and again.

ok im an aroace china truther but i do have thoughts on rochu.

of course with the old fandom, theres the characterization of ivan being more dominant, now ive noticed with the new fandom, it's reversed. with yao being so flirty and confident, with ivan being super shy.

the way i see rochu, there is actually a bit of a power dynamic but the thing is that it fluctuates and is constantly balancing out.

for example, ivan's unsettling nature makes yao concerned, but yao can come back by establishing his own boundaries. and ivan suggesting more out of pocket ideas that pushes yao to think outside his traditional mindset.

to think about rochu as a scale constantly trying to balance out, helps sell the idea that they are more equal and stand on the same ground than most people realize.

also personally not a fan of like super lovey dovey rochu ngl LOL. i def see their relationship as more slow burn and taking time to grow more comfortable with each other. and even then, the way they would show each other affection would be more simple and subtle.

like ivan leaning against yao's arm outside a bar or yao fixing ivan's scarf or a forehead kiss when the other is sick.

like a more casual kind of love that develops naturally without words or affirmation. i cant see them being super all over each other, but the way i would describe it is that its like a friendship with def a bit "more" to it
