Okay, let's do this!

(I also made a little headcannon about Elita-1, and it's been a while since I started watching the series so I don't know if it would seem like she would do that. I'm not doing the Terrans because I don't have the mental will to do them. And I'm only going to be doing ones that I can actually think of.)

Autobots:

Elita-1, Optimus and Megatron

I feel like if these three were put in charge of taking care of a rouge sparkling found in the woods, they would all co-parent. Elita is the mom, Optimus is the dad, and Megatron is the papa.

Optimus would obviously teach the little one what's right and wrong and would give them a light scolding if they did something bad. I mean, it's a sparkling, they have no awareness of what they're doing.

Elita-1 would teach the little one to fight in self-defense, and somehow actually works? Like, if one of Mandroid's bots tried to take the sparkling, the little one would body slam, the elbow, and all types of wrestling moves. Meanwhile, Optimus and Elita are in the corner, watching this go down. He turns to her and asks, "Did you have them watch W.W.E.?" Meanwhile, Elita just has a proud, smug smile, hands on her hip plates, proud of the little one.

And Megatron would teach the little one about morals and ideals. Considering that he was a warlord that hurt and killed many innocent lives, who is now a better person; he has experience going down a dark road and doesn't want them to come across it and go down that same path that will on bring pain and misery to not just everyone around them, but also themselves once they've acknowledged what they've done.

Bumblebee

Sorry, excuse me, older brother coming through-

He's a good older brother figure and is not afraid to admit it! He does gets annoyed when the Terrans, Mo, and Robby tease him for it.

He's very excited about what their alt-mode's gonna be. Maybe an ice cream truck!

When he sees the sparkling somehow fighting, he's kinda surprised before he recognizes those moves and his face turns into a -_- and asks, "Elita let them watch the W.W.E. again?"

Arcee

Cool aunt, all the way.

Will spoil the sparkling and teach the little one some moves other than the ones in the W.W.E. that Elita-1 let them watch. They need to learn real moves, such as martial arts!

She finds it cute how the little one wouldn't cry when they fall to the ground, but instead stubbornly get back up with some cute honks with a determined face, causing her to cover her smile and hold back laughing at how cute this is.

Will visit the Malto's frequently just for the little one.

Grimlock

I see him as the wise uncle.

He always gives out words of advice and they work, for example, Jawbreaker.

He'll be gentle with the little one but would be aggressive to those who intend to harm or use the sparkling for evil and/or greedy purposes. He does not want them to go through what he went through in the Bot Brawl in Philidelphia.

Doesn't really care about the sparkling biting him, he just sees it as the little one letting out their inner Dinobot, and it's not like it'll hurt him; he can barely feel it.

Wheeljack

The fresh-out-of-jail uncle because of his experiments.

I can see him more like his G1 version around the sparkling. So, if he's doing an experiment and the little one is around, make sure someone will nab the sparkling before it explodes in Wheeljack's face.

Had the things on the side of his head glow every time he speaks because the sparkling enjoys it.

Unknowingly a bad influence with the amount of times they watched him perform experiments only for them to blow up.

Decepticons

Soundwave

New sparkling acquired. Kids, you now have a younger-

Feels like this is a blessing from Primus because of what happened to Rumble. Because of that, he's overprotective of the sparkling, and so are the other Minicons: Frenzy, Laserbeak, Ravage.

He now has something to fill in the part of his spark that died with Rumble's death.

When the sparkling accidentally hurts themselves, Soundwave will feel a sense of guilt as he's trying to heal them up. He's supposed to protect them, but they ended up getting hurt and he feels like he should've done better. But if someone tries to hurt the sparkling, all hell breaks loose. Soundwave and his minicons will hunt down the person who hurt the little one and tear them a new one.

Shockwave

Isn't really emotionally attached at all.

He does take care of them, but will raise them to be strong because, to him, the weak should serve the strong, and he will not raise a weakling. He is also glad that the sparkling isn't a disgusting hybrid like the Terrans.

He would even perform experiments on the sparkling, such as chemical enhancements to make them stronger than the traitorous Megatron.

Would pull a Mother Gothel and manipulate the little one as they grow up that what he's doing is for the greater good and that they are the key to that future.

Tarantulas

Unlike Shockwave, he does get emotionally attached and cares for them like a parent should.

He doesn't want them to live in fear because of GHOST thinking that the sparkling is affiliated with him because he's considered a Decepticon, which is why he decided to make the hologram avatars so they can hide and be safe.

Gave, even made, some toys for the little one that will enhance parts of the processor so they can be an intelligent individual just like their Sire.

At the end of the Missed Connections episode, he gave them to Nightshade so then they would be out of GHOST's hands. Believing that he was captured by GHOST, I think that he would stay there for the sake of the one he considers his own. When in custody, he would never mention anything about his sparkling for their safety.

This is really cute! Poor Megatron is perplexed by the simple idea that Rodimus missed him. The different messages on all the stars are great! And I love Rodimus' dialogue!! Casually dropped "dude" and "my guy" into the conversation! Quality content!! Thank you for posting this!!

I also love comments where folks try to puzzle out what's going on. I love seeing reader theories. Reforged and Solar Flare are both full of comments where folks propose what they think is going on. An example is this one from Quashing_Tub (Tumblr handle unknown if they have one) on Solar Flare (chapter 13)

Mpving this comment to here to avoid potential spoilers. , I have a slight theory. Megs absolutely DOES have the Prime Devotion Beam™ (thanks I'm adopting it too lol). But Soundwave plays a frequency that provides interference so it can't harm the others. Meaning Soundy's the only one who noticed. He turned off the frequency to specifically affect Starscream, but seeing the chapters since 8, I'm wondering if Soundy was trying to block out Roddy's PDB to save t Screamy and by extension the Cause. Too bad it only helped in the short term. I also love how Orion's sucg a sweet bean that no one notices he might ALSO have special Prime powers? Like Zeta doesn't because he kinda just took the role. Any reverence is an infirned opinion or dedicated to his actualy character but Ori literally can just stand there and get people to spill the beans. But don't worry about that, that's just Orion.

Ultra Magnus (separately from Minimus or as a guy not being piloted by Minimus), Soundwave, and Jazz are all three that I find very difficult. Because I don't write them very often.

Not currently, I don't think, short of finishing Solar Flare. Before that, it was finishing whatever longfic novel I was working on before.

I don't think I ever really give myself milestones beyond "finish the fic" or "have a submission for every day of X event".

I think the most elaborate one I had was "use a different continuity for every day" one year when I was still doing MegOp Week.

tfp Breakdown. The best fucking cook you will ever goddamn see. Breakdown knew nothing about cooking, until he realized that food brings people together. Then he picked some stuff online, and now, dudes fucking Gordon Ramsey in this bitch. He loves making BIG portions of stuff, and loves working with meat. You get him a nice roast, a few potatoes and onions? He can feed the entire ship easily. Not to mention he’s quite the baker boy, so he indulges his husband when his 2am chocolate cake cravings hit.

rid2015 Wildbreak. Not AS good as his dad, but he’s a competent boy. He loves making mushroom risotto, and hand pies. Breakdown is so proud of his ass, and they have little cook offs on a daily basis.

Rid2015 Thunderhoof. Not only does he look good while doing it, but boy makes some FINE Italian food. Pizzas, raviolis, eggplant parms, lasagna, and his peak masterpiece; spaghetti and meatballs. Dude makes the best meatballs, makes the sweetest tomato sauce, all with a giant ass thing of garlic bread. Seriously, you will never run out of bread, or wine. For dessert, his go to is affogato, but if he gives a shit about you, he’ll go the extra mile and make the best goddamn tiramisu you've ever fucking had. Dude and coffee and go hand and hand tbh.

Rescue bots Hightide. He’s no five star chef, but he knows how to make simple fish dishes (his favorite being clam chowder), and how to make a good, hearty bread. Its a bit salty, but you can’t help but ask for seconds. His food is meant to warm those he rescues, and it does a fair job.

tfa Blitzwing. No master, but he knows his way around the kitchen. Icy, at least. Random keeps eating the counter top, Hothead is pissed that he can’t fucking find the salt- it’s a mess. When Icy is around long enough though, he makes a damn good meat stuffed pumpkin, and can even make a nice egg pudding (he makes a decent german chocolate cake, but that’s way more Breakdown’s speed).

MTMTE Impactor. Odd choice, I know. But dude knows how to make shit ingredients taste good. You got some kinda old noodles? Congrats, you got yourself a fat plate of carbonara, greasy and delicious. He ain’t fancy, but he’s the best for you broke bitches with a low stock.

G1 Ironhide. Big portions, big calories with this cowboy. You can’t leave his place without a full belly. Biscuits and gravy, eggs, hashbrowns, porkchops, fried chicken- and that’s just breakfast. It’s nice, hearty, and you can ask for as many helpings as you’d like. He will not stop. His food is endless. You will go home with leftovers for like a week. Even a pudding pie for dessert.

tfa Prowl. He’s actually a vegetarian! He likes making clean, easy to eat food, like veggie rice balls (or doughnuts), carrot stew, honey garlic tofu on a bed of steamed veggies, and for dessert? A honey baked apple, topped with mix nuts and whipped cream. His food is very good, and clean. He even makes his own trail mix for when he goes on nature walks (its full of roasted nuts, dried fruits, and dark chocolate bits), and will happily share if you ask him for some.

Tfp Dreadwing. He was the main cook in the household, and as such, he can feed others, should it be needed of him. He likes making Salmon Meuniere, chicken curry, and honey glazed beef strips. All of his food comes with a bed of white rice. His favorite thing to make though? Those cute little wagashi treats. They’re often made of bean paste, and they go lovely with his daily cups of tea. He also makes them very pretty and ornate. 

Cyberverse Soundwave. He mainly learned now to cook because Hot Rod absolutely fucking can’t. He’s the more casual cook on this list, preferring stuff you can set and forget. Stuff like Salisbury steak and mashed potatoes, roasted chickens, mac and cheese, pot roast- pretty much anything you can stick in a crock pot, and have dinner ready for when he comes back from work. When he makes desserts, he loves making either cookies, or swiss rolls, depending how much time he has. He loves ube and pumpkin flavors.

An au where the cons find humans just absolutely adorable. One day they decide they want a human pet like the autobots have. They kidnap a teen with really low self esteem from an abusive household. The cons take good care of the the kid and constantly dote on them and tell them how cute they are. How do the cons react when they find out about the humans bad home situation? And how do they react to the huma being like "me? I'M cute?" And generally being a self hating goblin.

So first of all, for the first few weeks, nobody asides from Knockout and Megatron are allowed near them. Why? Soundwave has a little problem called “I adopt everything I think is good enough for my tastes” and isn’t particularly fond of unnecessary contact with other decepticons. Knockout is only allowed to interact due to him being a medic, and Megatron for loyalty reasons.

No matter what anyone on the Nemesis says, they love their little gremlin. They keeps up on water, food, and other necessities that are required for a content and happy human being. So of course, they were confused when their human was hesitant when it came to gifts and even compliments. What do you mean “for me?”? Who else would they give this stuff to? That’s when the cat is let out of the bag. All of the beans are spilled.

They are at first appalled at what their previous home life was like. They hear about all of the yelling, the arguments, the physical abuse. It takes them a hot minute for them to realize that before they had their human pet, well, friend, they had been a lot like that. Bickering turning to yelling, to screaming, and then physical contact. They’re still war criminals of course, and are complete asshats, but they’ve mellowed out when it came to their down time. It was so strange how much one little organic had changed their behaviors.

Now, this won’t stop them from laughing at self deprecating jokes and prods at their expense. They care, but they don’t understand trauma enough to know that allowing these jokes, in fact, makes their brain worse.

Shockwave tightened his hold on the sparkling, more worried about dropping him than the very ferocious hissing being directed at him. He'd gotten worse from the predacons, honestly. This was just cute.

"...that is not very helpful, little one." He sighed, staring at the hole. He'll have to patch that up before he can let any of the sparklings - this one or his own - wander around the floor of his lab...which shouldn't even be happening in the first place, actually.

"Ok, how about being fed, hm? And then I can start searching for your caretaker..." He's really just talking to himself as he goes into a different room, away from the beakers, scalpels and dangerous tools and into one that's been obviously sparkling-proofed. And shutting the door firmly behind him.

There is a Sparkling in Shockwaves lab! Wait wait, are they reaching for something? Looks like their trying to reach one of the shinies on the table to knock down

So used to chasing after two other sparklings by now, Shockwave spots this one very quickly - and luckily, before they manage to snag a very full beaker off the table.

"STOP THAT IMMEDIATELY." Shockwave makes haste to pick up the sparkling, using his hip to more comfortably hold them while he looks around the lab; surely one wouldn't leave a little one unattended? And definitely not in his lab, of all places...

"Where did you come from?"

🐾 Eve chirps loudly to draw Overlord’s attention, towards her. she had recently turned back into to her normal self. Which the small bean didn’t mind but what she did mind though, was that one of her many foster siblings. Decided to play dress up, and she was one of their targets.

The poor bean had been forced to wear, was a dress that normally old timey dolls were placed in, she looked up at Overlord with a pleading look for some assistance in getting her out of the outfit “ She got ya too, huh “ Wildwest said with his servos crossed, the youngling mech looked down at Eve with a look of pity. He too had was in a outfit as well, though do to his centuar like form. Wildwest had on a frilly shirt that looked a bit too tight on his frame. Both he and Eve were unsure of how one of their foster siblings had gotten a hold of clothing, but either way. It wasn’t something they enjoyed

Apparently the large mech had gotten stuck with a group of sparklets after a accident involving, Eve wanting Overlord to see her foster siblings and the portal that they toke to get to his universe had a slight hiccup which lead to the group of sparklet getting basically trapped in the relam.

Despite his coding having something to say about him being near so many young ones, Overlord didn’t find the situation that uncomfortable. Quite the contrary. He was already used in the past as a heater for the protoforms, back when they all hid underground and weren’t  fight back yet. 

He now just had to wait for Sir Soundwave and Shockwave to work  contacting Biohazard and then sending back everyone.  Overlord leaned down on the floor to reach eye level with Eve. Such a soft one... but eh, she was’t having fun. «I’ve giant digits, dear Eve... I might have some trouble helping you out of there.» He pretty much had no idea what to say about that, if she looked cute or not. Cybertronians didn’t wear clothes. He knew about alien species along with humans doing it. It was to... warm up, apparently. From what he knew at least. They had no engine and they couldn’t exactly ingest antifreeze.  What he could appreciate were just... little, decorations. He was wearing those recently. Two bows, and he could understand those could look pretty.  Cybertronians didn’t wear full clothing but cloaks? Yes. Their purpose was just the one to decorate. So.. if he had to be honest all that was maybe too much. From his point of view at least. And then she didn’t look so happy, so he tried to help her.

My Transformers Prime Opinions: Halfway Through Season One (Episodes 6-13)

First off, I’ve started rewatching episodes in Spanish. Second off, OMFG RATCHET AND KNOCKOUT SOUND SO SEXY IN THE SPANISH DUB I CAN’T FUCKING HANDLE IT!!!

Ratchet being a total control freak over Jack, Raf, and Miko’s projects reminded me of a couple of times where I asked my parents for help on a project and they ended up taking it over for me. Ratchet is a smothering overprotective Mom, and that further cements in my mind that he and Optimus are married.

I honestly didn’t care about Skyquake all to much. I mean, I thought it was cool how he didn’t put up with Starscream’s bullshit, but still, he wasn’t all that interesting to me. Also he has a giant machine gun, so that’s cool!

Not only is Bumblebee a total bean, but he’s also a badass! I would not want to get on his bad side!

Soundwave using Laserbeak to watch Starscream after he pulled out Megatron’s dark energon shard felt like watching a child walk in on one of their parents trying to kill the other in their sleep.

Scraplets are 100% space piranhas.

I honestly love how Bulkhead screams like a little girl

I like how Raf went from “Aw, this thing is cute!” to “KILL IT! KILL IT WITH FIRE!!!” in like five seconds flat.

Optimus comforting Arcee while they were dying of the cold was really sweet and it kind of reminded me of when I was about 6 or seven years old, and I was afraid of death, and my parents calmed me down and explained it to me in a way that made it less scary.

Miko freaking out over a spider at the end of the episode was a fucking mood

Wheeljack is a chaotic good treasure, and I love him.

I honestly wanted to see what Makeshift actually looked like, but we got a voice reveal, so it’s better than nothing!

I like how Bulkhead and Wheeljack’s friendship was so strong he could tell something was off, despite Makeshift being a talented actor.

I like how the thing was called the “Dingus”, like whoever named it must’ve been either high or fucking around

As artist, I was internally screaming when Breakdown yeeted Bulkhead and broke mural in the ruins.

I’m suspending Optimus’s dad card for the time being due to the fact that he had the kids break into a museum. I’ll give it back later, if he earns it.

Knockout basically strolled up to Optimus  and was like, “You’re sexy, but guess who’s sexier? MAH BOYFRIEND!!!” and that literally the best thing ever.

Knockout and Breakdown? Gay. They’re dating. You can’t change my mind.

Fowler using his government status to get Miko out of trouble was a fucking powermove.

Arachnid’s voice is sexy as hell, but that doesn’t change the fact that I hate her guts for what she did to Arcee and Tailgate

Poor Arcee, she’s lost two of her boyfriends to the cons! She’s got a worse love life than mine!

Jack is definitely smarter than he lets on, considering that he was able to trick Arachnid, even if it was only for a short while.

I thought it was really cool how Arcee was able to face her trauma to save Jack. It must have been really difficult for her, especially considering the fact that she lost Cliffjumper so recently. She has her flaws, but she’s really strong. I can’t wait to see how much she grows during the rest of the series!

“Cybonic Plague” sounds like a made up human joke name to a serious disease, and if you told me that cybertronians could die from it before I watched episode 13, I would laugh in your face.

I’m pretty sure Megatron has a murder fetish, specifically a murdering Optimus fetish. 

Is it just me or is it creepy as hell that Megatron had to gaze into Bumblebee’s eyes to realize that the was in a coma?

Saltwater Taffy: Have you and your f/o ever gone to a beach? What do you like to do there?

Wizard hates sand and Soundwave respects that. The cassettes like it though so they do end up going, even if Wizard ends up chilling at any table they can find. They mostly just read while Soundwave goofs off with the goons (I call them goons but with affection tbh).

Jelly Bean: What’s a quirk/little detail about your fave that you think is cute?

Listen, listen, I love that every Soundwave would 100% be into memes. It’s really funny to me given each of his characterizations. On a more serious note, I love how expressive he is? And how intelligent even if he’s a bit of a dumbass sometimes.

Licorice: If there was an element in your fave’s canon you could change, what would you change?

You know what's kind of cute to think of? Frenzy and Rumble being really good with kids! I just have this image in my head: the both of them finding this lonely but genius of a girl (think Mathilda). She has neglectful parents who never notice her, but she's such a smart little bean. The twins become her protective brawns to her brains, and soundwave just silently adopts her as well. So I just think of one of them putting her on his shoulder while being like "NO U" to her parents.
