I fell asleep early last night, and unlike usual just stayed crashed out.

So there will be two diary entries for my Original WIP today.

Dear Diary, Why is my Soul Mate a Rock Star?

Day 3

I am so stupid.

Everything was just so happy, so natural with Woo-jin in the dreams. I always felt like everything else would be that easy, too.

Like, I’d find where he was, figure out how to move there, find a way to meet him, start slow, the hardest part would have been convincing him the dreams were real and I hadn’t been stalking him to learn so much about him.

Oh my god, seeing that written out.

That would totally have just been stalking, period.

Oh my god, I am so stupid.

But I knew that deep down, didn’t I?

That’s why I avoided getting into modern South Korean culture. Movies, political figures.

K-Pop.

I didn’t want to accidentally find Woo-jin early.

I told myself I was ok with him being someone that would get paparazzi after us.

It never would have happened. I’m not someone who could ever just - get into one of those circles.

I was always just lying to myself that the dreams were real.

I don’t know what to do. I think I’m really going to drive myself crazy.

Dear Diary, Why is my Soul Mate a Rock Star?

Day 2

It’s impossible.

I need to see that written down. It shouldn’t be so hard to believe.

Woo-jin and I are never going to be together.

The dreams were all a lie.

It’s impossible, and it was stupid to ever believe the dreams meant anything real.

God, I feel so stupid. Who in their right mind builds their whole life in order to facilitate literal dreams?

And the worst part is - I can’t even talk to anybody about this.

“Hey, ever since I can remember, I’ve dreamed about being married to this guy Woo-jin. We where happy and it was wonderful and I lived everything with the expectation it would happen. I took Korean which made me look like a genius because I knew how to speak it because of my dreams, so they had to be real, right? I took Business in college because that seemed to be my job field in the dreams so that was what I was supposed to do, right?

“And hey! He’s real! Cho Woo-jin is real!

“Yeah, that Cho Woo-jin! Crazy, huh?”

It’s impossible. It’s completely impossible and stupid and I don’t know what else to do except keep acting like nothing’s changed because what did change except now I know?

I just don’t know what I’m going to do.

I was wanting to come up with a daily writing exercise. Something simple.

Then someone (damn you @elf-kid2 !!! 😜) completely coincidentally triggered two pre-existing Fix-It fics and that nice, simple plan is very, very distant….

Let’s see what happens with this instead.

Ok, this is not my fault! Not my fault!!

I knew he was important. Popular. Newsworthy.

I mean, I figured out those were paparazzi in the dreams. I had an idea what I was getting into.

It was supposed to help, what with him being Korean and all.

He was not supposed to be the latest international superstar!!!

Ok, breath, breath.

This is supposed to be a good thing.

It means I’m not crazy. He’s real.
