You: She's got your fat head, too.

2:49 AM nightmare was in old house back in georgia was eating sunflower seeds and hanging out with bones donnie was also there they both wouldn’t move they’d just watch me and copy me and sooner or later they were operating in-sync with each other as if they shared the same mind They were zombies. And then I was a zombie. All of a sudden, all I could hear, in all directions, in every voice I’ve ever heard, was "Rael, welcome. Slip into our nectar, let our waters bring you cool." Then I felt strings holding me down, and then I woke up. Donnie’s up now. She says she had a similar dream, though with places and people she knew and “Hello, Victoria.” ..we’re gonna get going now.

3:08 AM Got all our stuff. I’m all dressed. God, I’m tired. Donnie seems to prefer dressing for comfort rather than style. Meh. To each, her own.

3:24 AM Kay. Out of Blackpool. We’ve got the directions to Liverpool all printed out. Fifteen-hour trip, here we go. I’m yawning way too much. But we you saw the dream thing that we had I mean… we can’t risk it.

4:09 AM Oh my god, there are a lot of zombies, as usual. Some of them are attacking us. See, some of them look like real zombies, the real living undead. Those are the ones that are attacking us. As soon as you enter the room, there’s this big mirror with the sinks, and in the mirror, I can see mannequins gathered around one closed stall. They’re just gathered outside it, as if waiting for it to open. And y’know, I’m pretty sure that’s Donnie’s. Yet when I actually look in the bathroom, there are no mannequins. Just a closed stall door.

7:40 AM I asked Donnie if she’s okay. She hesitated before answering, but she’s fine. I told her I’m just gonna… wait. Here. For her. She asked why. I looked in the mirror again and saw the mannequins looking at me. So I’m, uh.. well. I told her we may be in a rabbit hole, may not be, but either way, something’s.. wrong. She got the message. She says she’ll hurry.

7:42 AM The mirror mannequins are closer to the mirror now. What are they doing?

7:43 AM Donnie’s flushed and leaving the stall SCREAMING yeah mannequins I know c’mon let’s go Donnie ffff

7:44 AM As we were leaving the bathroom, I turned and saw a mannequin crawling through the mirror. We’re running now.

Bacon jam, they cooked the bacon with some onion n i dont know what else but it's sweet and u can taste the caramelized onion. i dont really like onions but i eat the onions in this bacon jam. They put it on their smoked porkchop but i asked them to put it on my steak but the put it on the side.

I’m sorry I’m ragging on old news, but there’s a video of the dude playing Hideyoshi in the Netflix samurai thing (actor name: Kosaka Masami 小坂正三) that popped up in my Youtube feed somehow and I just... 

Only in Netflix where you can find a Hideyoshi that is randomly more handsome than Nobunaga.

Like, the actor who played Nobunaga is actually fine (actor name: Haneda Masayoshi 羽田昌義). They just ruined him by giving him that really strange hairstyle and generally unkempt appearance. He does look much better when they make him look neat.

I used to think it’s a wig, but he actually still had that long hair even when they’re all in casual clothes, not in costume/makeup, so maybe that’s his real hair?? But WHY do they have to make it look so messy???

The anime continues on with it’s hot streak, with episode 69 receiving only 1 vote in the negative direction. The vast majority were very pleased with this episode. 

this time the pacing felt quite weird, specially with how they managed the flashbacks. sorry mappa, but for the first time i feel like this was a 7/10 episode

For favorite moments during the present time, Eren’s harsh tone with Hange garnered the highest amount of votes at 34.5%. Not far behind, 26.3% most enjoyed watching the 104th talk about Eren and what happened in Marley. Behind those two scenes were Hange asking Eren why he was talking to himself in the mirror (12.4%), and getting the small zevi crumbs at the end of the episode (8.2%).

When it comes to the tattoo retcon, opinions seem to be relatively mixed. 22.9% of respondents felt that the retcon was a good move, because they feel that faithfulness to the source material is the most important thing in an adaptation. 21.9% felt it was a mixed situation, because they appreciate faithfulness to the manga, but also prefer for things to have proper continuity. 20.8% agreed that it was a good move, but mainly because the embroidery was “lame and forgettable” anyway. At smaller percentages, 16.1% felt that it wasn’t really a big deal either way since the family symbol was acknowledged regardless, and 9.4% didn’t care at all.

The notable majority of respondents feel that Jean would have been the best candidate to inherit Eren’s titan. At a distant second, people would opt for Armin to inherit Eren’s titans (perhaps because he is already a titan anyway). The rest of the characters were relatively evenly chosen.

This piechart turned out to be very colorful. MAPPA DIDN’T INCLUDE THE PART OF THE CONVERSATION BETWEEN ZEKE AND KIYOMI WHERE ZEKE EXPLAINS HIS PARENTAGE, WHY HE SOLD THEM OUT, AND CLAIMS THAT HE’S THE “TRUE ELDIAN RESTORATIONIST.” THOUGHTS? 192 responses

The conversation between Zeke and Kiyomi got shaved down quite a bit, losing the claim of Zeke being “the true Eldian restorationist.” 30.7% aren’t sweating about it and feel it’s something that will be included in a later episode. 27.6% feel that it’s removal isn’t a big deal. 18.7%, on the other hand, feel that losing that moment watered down Zeke’s characterization and would have preferred its inclusion. 8.9% don’t care.

Another dialogue that was axed this episode was Armin brainstorming about who would be in control of the Founding Titan if Eren and Zeke make contact with each other. 35.7% (a small jump from the previous question) feel that this, again, will be included in a later episode. 28.1% feel that its inclusion wasn’t wholly necessary. 18.4% feel that this fact was already obvious anyway, so it doesn’t matter. 10.4% feel that the anime will get to that point so quickly that the exposition isn’t necessary to begin with. 

Armin's motives don't necessarily change either way so I'm fine with the cut. I do hope it's mentioned later on though.

Every episode is only 25 minutes long, so some parts of dialogues need to be removed.

The never ending debate of who the father of Historia’s child hasn’t slowed down since the introduction of her pregnancy, though the question has ultimately boiled down to whether the child is Eren’s or not. Only 33.2% of respondents seem to think so. 28.1% presumably feel that it’s not Eren, but are overall tired of this debate in general. 21.4% are firm in their stance that it’s the farmer. 13.8% just wish it had anything to do with Ymir and nothing to do with the other options.

Generally, half of respondents felt that both ways were effective and funny. 25.5% seem to enjoy MAPPA’s rendition of it more, while 18.2% prefer the original manga portrayal of Levi’s grievances.

THE TRAIN SCENE WHERE EREN CONFESSES TO HIS FRIENDS IS TREASURED BY MUCH OF THE FANDOM. DID MAPPA DO IT JUSTICE? 193 responses

For fans of the 104th in particular, this scene has felt like it’s taken 84 years to finally be animated. And very few were disappointed, with 56.5% stating that the scene was cute and they are content with it, and another 36.8% showing a little more enthusiasm, feeling that it was more beautifully done than they ever could have imagined. A handful felt it could have been better, but was still good, or just didn’t care. No one agreed that the scene was ruined.

Another highly anticipated moment… the return of Dark!Connie! MAPPA didn’t quite hit the mark on this one, with Connie’s aura in the manga still being much more preferable to manga readers than the way MAPPA portrayed him in the anime.

Overall, the majority of the fanbase believe that Eren’s actions are generally in the interest of his friends and their lifespan, though to varying degrees (38.4% feel he prioritizes them wholly above all else, while 34.7% feel that he prioritizes them, but to a lesser degree than he used to). 21.1% still think that Eren’s contradictory actions make it hard to come to a solid conclusion on this front. A handful feel that Eren has abandoned them completely and only cares about himself and his own freedom at this point.

When chapter 108 was published, we hadn’t yet learned that Eren saw memories of the future and so we couldn’t speculate on such a thing. Now that we can, we thought we would ask. 42.6% believe that regardless of whether Eren saw his friends in those memories or not, Mikasa is correct in her belief that Eren simply trusted them to survive. 33% feel that he already knew that they would survive, which is the only reason why he dragged them to Liberio in the first place. 18.6% don’t want to say either way, and a small percentage believe Eren had no way of knowing about the fate of his friends.

Maybe I'm the only one, but I'm not so hyped for this season anymore. Sure, I'll still watch all the episodes no matter what, and I don't think Mappa is doing a bad job. But it's just a good adaptation. For the anime-onlys, I'm sure it's great because they're discovering the story we already know, but for me, this season doesn't add much to the manga. I probably had too high expectations for this season... (I'm also watching/reading Jujustsu Kaisen from Mappa and I don't have that feeling at all, so I'm pretty conflicted)

The episode was fine but I had a feeling that it was going a little too fast. However, I'm not complaining because I overally liked it. I could finally see adult Historia. She looks different than her manga counterpart. In the manga she was more mysterious and mature, while in the anime she still has cute baby face. I think that the moment between her and Mikasa was sweet. I feel kinda tired of the whole "who is the father" theories. I think that people waste their energy on fights and debates. If I wasn't part of the fandom, I wouldn't even think of Eren having a child with Historia. They never had romantic relationship and their last conversation was far away from being loving. Eren is an amotional mess. He has never mentioned the child in his POV, he says that his friends and Paradis are the most important, so I will be surprised if all of sudden he turns to be a father.

The lightning around eren when angry at hange was amazing addition (I think it's new) and historias situation feels more real in the anime. (ps: hail ponytail mikasa is bea)

Did a great job imo, but I don't think it's possible to make it anywhere near 122 at this point

Scenes were great as usual. The pacing was a little bit jarring though. I don't know how anime-onlys will take it since we do have different perspectives given our forehand knowledge of the events.

Sorry this is kind of messy...Excuse the chaos but here are my hot takes.

Itachi

Itachi is really good at painting his nails. Even better than Deidara which annoys him. Kisame asks Itachi for help from time to time.

I personally think Itachi doesn’t want to love anyone and would try his best to stay from it. Not only does he feel undeserving of love, but he is also too scared to. If he did meet someone he fell in love with, he’d try to push them as far away as possible. Almost like he did to Sasuke...

(nsfw?) If Itachi does come around to loving someone, he’d be kind of an awkward lover who’s not really sure what to do all the time. However, he knows all the right things to say and is surprisingly good in bed because he’s a good listener and will listen to your needs and likes to hear you-

(nsfw) Itachi wouldn’t be very comfortable with kinks and is pretty vanilla. I think he’d be open to being a sub though. In the end, he wants your pleasure to be above his.

Hidan

Hidan wants someone as crazy as him. This would be a kind of toxic relationship almost like Joker and Harley Quinn. 

He would hate the fact that he loves you because you’re his weakness, but on the other hand, he desperately needs you at his side.

(nsfw?) I said it before but Hidan and his partner dance in the blood of their enemies. He’d also pull them in and grab their face harshly to kiss them. Then he’d say “You’re fucking pretty covered in blood.” Does he also say this in bed? Yes.

(nsfw) Hidan would “experiment” on you with his abilities during sex. He gets off on the pain and pleasure you feel which of course is amplified by his powers.

Deidara

He’d also want someone kind of insane to keep up with him. That doesn’t mean that they’re necessarily just as loud, but they can keep him interested and entertained. 

I do think Deidara likes to play with people and their feelings because it’s all about the thrill for him. Relationships to him are kind of meaningless since the only thing that matters is his own art.

However, if he does settle with one partner, I do think he’d be loyal. Maybe not fair all the time, but loyal.

Sasori

Sasori is a nerd in the sense I think he’d be obsessed with what he does and his craft. You can’t catch him doing anything other than working or studying in his free time.

While Itachi is good at doing his nails, Sasori is the best. He’s just the most meticulous.

If Sasori had a lover, he would wonder what they would look like as a puppet. He’d secretly draw plans for what to do with their body if they ever died. 

While every member of the Akatsuki would kill their partner if they had to, I think Sasori might actually be the most willing because he can “immortalize” them.

Zetsu

Kakuzu

He invests his money in various things, but is kind of bad at it. That’s why he’s always looking for more cash. Kind of like how Tsunade is bad at gambling.

He had a lover a long time ago.

Kisame

He gets really flirty when he’s drunk.

Would have some sort of secret relationship (could be non-romantic) that nobody, not even Konan, knows about.

He and his pen pal always include some sort of riddle to solve in their letters.

Because they’re probably far away or he doesn’t have time, he writes numerous pages at a time. Whatever they write back, he reads it multiple times over before burning the pages. 

Konan

Does anyone else get bi energy from Konan? I know she loved Yahiko, but something just tells me that she likes women too. 

I think she would also send secretive messages, but they’re shorter than Nagato’s lengthy texts. 

Tobi or Obito

If he were on a normal date, he’d have flirty quotes and jokes written on his arm to refer to. And he’d still mess it up.

Maybe all of the Uchihas are awkward lovers...

Will offer to pay for the meal 100% of the time and forgets his wallet 40% of the time. He’ll always pay you back and make it up to you.

He’d pretend to be someone else for the time he’s “dating” someone. Ultimately, he’d have to break their heart because love isn’t his goal.

Unpopular ROTTMNT opinions

Warning: There’s MILD TMNT 2012 hate. So if you don’t want to hear ANY hate, don’t read.

Note: I might put this under cut later. 

-I actaully like Rise! Apritello as a friendship AND as a pair/shipping. I think part of the reason why people don’t like it as a pair at all is because they messed it up SO MUCH in the 2012 TMNT that now no one wants romance in the new series. Which I understand competely, but honestly? I’m willing to give this a chance if it’s possible. I feel that romances in kid shows CAN work out and be enjoyable as long as it’s written properly. However, if people still don’t want this (or is not into shipping in Rise) that’s perfectly fine. I just don’t want no one to hate on anyone who does like this or willing to give it a chance.

I also feel like it’s because they don’t ship April x Turtle pairs at all since they see April as a sister to the turtles. Which is fair, but at least April ISN’T related to them. It’s leagues better than some incest ships that I know....coughtcestcough. Also, the “childhood friends to lovers” thing IS a troupe and it DOES exist. 

-I like Rise of TMNT A LOT MORE than TMNT 2012. I also like how it treated it’s sibling relationships a lot more than the previous show did. Raph and Mikey’s relationship is handled better (I just don’t think 2012! Raph gave none of his brothers enough credit as he should of sometimes and he treated them (mainly Mikey) like a freaking punching bag).The brothers in Rise may act silly and petty towards each other SOMETIMES, but it’s been shown COUNTLESS of times throughout the series that they love and care for each other. I just never felt it that much with TMNT 2012. I know sometimes sibling relationships aren’t sunshine and rainbows and even sometimes complicated, but I feel like as though Rise handled this better when it came to that. I just feel like 2012′s sibling relationships where toxic. I’m just more of a fan of healthy sibling relationships than “realistic” ones.

-Raph’s not an jerk-stu, Leo gets to have fun and be free without responsibility for once, Mikey’s not written as an compete idiot this time (cute doesn’t always mean naïve and stupid and I love how the creators are showing that) and Donatello is handled a lot better in writting this time (I LOVE TMNT 2012 Donnie to bits, but he had a lot of low self esteem). As different as the turtles are in this series is, the creators handled their personalities quite nicely instead of aping one trait up to 1000%. Also, Rise!April is less mary-sueish and bitchy than 2012! April. Rise! Splinter is good too ^^

-If I was given a choice to being back TMNT 2012 or keep Rise, I would choose the latter because I believe it’s better written and handled better than 2012. Also, even though there was plot holes and things that weren’t solved, I think TMNT 2012 had it’s run. Though I wouldn’t mind some kind of spin-off that fixes those plot holes. 

-Despite all the things that I love about Rise, I don’t mind if the show goes a agusty/deep/dark/suspenseful route, even if it’s every now and then. I don’t know, it just doesn’t bother me unlike others. In fact, I would love to see that happen. As long as it doesn’t go overboard or includes it just for the sake to be edgy or please “certain fans”, I’m fine with it :)

-I don’t really care for Darxum x Splinter/Lou Jistu that much if not at all. It just really didn’t interest me and I have no idea where it came from.

-I honestly don’t mind Raph permanently being the leader this time around. Heck, I wouldn’t even mind Leo becoming the leader like in the old incarnations. Maybe they can be co-leaders? Either way, I don’t mind any of it. Though I do like to see Leo development. 

-Some of the fandom is just a BIG mess for Rise! angst and suspense to happen despite what’s happening in the show, but honestly? I am too XD Is it bad that I actaully want more of that too? I know the show is for kids, but I wouldn’t really mind it still as long as it’s ok. NOT to the point where it would be like another Steven Universe, but just a little bit more would be good for me.

-Kind of want the gang to face some more challenges and tough choices in the future. Because...you know...THE FEELS!? O__O

-Kind of want the unnamed foot soldier to be Casey instead of Karai tbh. Not only it would be an interesting change but also hella funny XD

-I don’t want Draxum to change AT LEAST until around the end of the series. Because I want the lesson “sometimes, people don’t change” or “sometimes, people don’t change right away”.

-I want an arc focusing on Raph’s “anxiety”.

-I want Casey back. And I kind of want him to be black too XD

-If Casey does come back, I don’t want ANY love triangle bullcrap. IF there HAS to be a love triangle, I don’t want it overdone it nor dragged out as long as it was in TMNT 2012.

-Something REALLY random, but I want Tom to have a boyfriend. Something sweet :)

-I want an episode that focuses on Leo and Donnie’s relationship/bond as “twin” brothers.

-I want more highschool shenanigans with April (and maybe Sunita). I want to see Taylor and the purple dragons in school again. Sorry, not sorry XD

Probably making an account on tumblr in the first place because you’re immediately being surrounded by the whole lot of talented people that create pretty stuff and it’s quite contagious :)

Depends, of course. From 15 minutes to a couple of days (especially graphics). But now making gifs has become the bane of my existence because my laptop is dying and takes FOREVER for my screencaps to load in Photoshop and it sucks. So I need a new laptop asap.

Many fucking times. I can still find my gifs on twitter, pinterest or google pics

I usually tend to make an 8 gifs in a set because I feel like 6 is not enough and  10 is too much but it all depends on the gif size.

Original coloring for each gif always looks better and gives better effect when saving, but sometimes, when I’m lazy I throw a base PSD and adjust the layers

It’s fanfiction time!!

A mini crossover between @kuttiesstuff​‘s Human Candy AU and LanternDay AU (but mostly LanternDay).

I found out about LD Sans's story a few days ago looking through Kuttie's art tag (I had seen him in the Twitchy Timeloop comic but didn't really know what he was about). Aaaaaaaaand somehow a fanfiction happened XD

I've taken some liberties with the AUs, especially since there's only so much revealed about LanternDay (as well as some things I didn't notice went against canon until it was too late WHOOPS), but I hope it's fun anyway. ...Pretend everyone speaks German lol I don't want to butcher it with my attempts

(Also....this is the first fanfic I've actually completed since like....2009 o__o;;; I'm not much of a writer. But I still enjoyed myself c: )

Title: Tastes Like Home

Chance wasn't used to the stares he was getting from monsterkind on his long trip back to Snowdin from the surface. In fact, he wasn't used to any part of the journey--that's what teleporting was for! But today that wasn't an option. Not for a human.

Of course, he had been human all along! But now it was visible to the outside world (even if no one recognized him anymore as "Sans"). Ever since he found that one universe with its unique candy... Well, it had only been a day, but already it was a new chapter in his life--he just knew it! He'd finally be able to go home, whole, in his body... The universe had promised him.

When it would happen, he didn't know. But in the meantime, he explored the surface. This time, where other humans could recognize him as such, and he could fit in! Malls, movies, food........he could be just another human teenager.

But human teens had to sleep eventually, so it was back to his house in Snowdin. A big grin spread across his face as he walked. He couldn't wait to tell Papyrus about his day.

Papyrus pounded the bread dough with all his might. And again, and again. It made an odd crunch each time.

It had been two days since Sans came home from another universe, ate some strange magic food, turned into a human, and ran off excited! Leaving the Great Papyrus behind!!

He punched the dough so hard it flew off the counter, joining half a dozen others on the floor. He sighed and started on another. At least one loaf of his surely soon-to-be-famous spaghetti noodle bread had made it to the oven.

Sans had seemed so happy in this human form. But there was no reason he had to go off by himself. He would have gone with him, if he even knew he was going somewhere! It frustrated Papyrus to no end. But most of all, he was worried. Worried at how long Sans had been gone. Worried that he was alone as a squishy human. And worried that....

That...........

Papyrus didn't want to think about it, and he threw himself back into breadmaking. Grillby was out there looking for him anyway. Sans would come home one way or another.

Then came the sound of the front door.

"SANS!?"

The moment he opened the door, Chance was swooped up in a huge hug. "papyrus!" He smiled and wrapped his own arms around the taller brother. Before he could get out any more words, Papyrus spoke up at his typical volume.

"SANS!" Papyrus, stern, put him down quickly (but gently) in favor of putting his hands on his hips, and stomped his foot down. "WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?? WHY HAVEN'T YOU BEEN ANSWERING YOUR PHONE?"

"oh, uh..." He should have expected to be taken to task for something like this. "sorry paps, phone ran out of power. i didn't think too much of it since it was only a day--"

"TWO DAYS!"

His good mood was slowly deflating. Had he really lost track of time that badly? No wonder he was so tired. "sorry. i guess i got too excited at the thought of going home."

"H....home?" He realized his mistake immediately. Papyrus's shoulders sagged, and his face looked less angry than....scared.

"i, um, papyrus..." His mind struggled against the twinge of pain in his heart. Of course he'd be going home! That was how it always was gonna be. Papyrus knew of his origins too, so...so....why was this so hard!? Not being able to bear the look on Papyrus's face, he looked to the side. Leaving him staring at the house he'd lived in for so many years now. But...not for much longer, right? He'd have to say goodbye to it.

"Sans?" Papyrus was waiting on him. Looking back at his little brother just made his heart hurt more. For years, he hadn't wanted to think about it, but with the promise of going home closer now than it ever had been, the fact was unavoidable, standing in front of him. If he wanted to go home, he'd have to leave Papyrus behind too.

Tears welled up in his eyes and he shot forward to hug his brother. "don't worry about it, paps..."

Papyrus returned the hug. "I'm going to worry about it if you......" There was a strange pause. "Sans, your body!"

"...huh?"

"YOU'RE BACK TO NORMAL!"

A quick glance at his hands confirmed it. Skeletal, again. Back into the strange magic costume he'd been trapped in for years. "....oh."

He pressed back into his brother, tears flowing in earnest. Somehow this wasn't a shock to him. It made sense. Despite everything, he was too attached to this place and the people who came with it. In this moment, being here, as Papyrus's brother, even in monster form, was more important than going home. That was what what his heart told him. But it still hurt.

Papyrus held Sans until he calmed down. There was a lot he didn't understand. Sans's mood had changed so quickly. Was it related to where he went? Did it have to do with being human? Was it all those "mood swings" teens were known for? He didn't know. He was still worried about what Sans said, about going "home"...but it could wait for now.

Sans's breathing finally evened out. "you're the best, paps."

"NYEH??" That brought a smile to his face, and some of his usual attitude. "Well...OF COURSE! I AM THE GREAT PAPYRUS."

A loud beep sounded from the kitchen. "...MY BREAD!"

The brothers sat on the couch with a plate in front of them, as Papyrus put on the finishing touches. Bread, full of spaghetti noodles, marinara sauce on top, and a sprinkling of herbs.

"MY CREATION IS COMPLETE!" Papyrus sprang to his feet for dramatic effect. "THE FIRST SPAGHETTI BREAD!" He cut off a slice and held it out for Sans, looking at him expectantly.

Sans took and bit into the slice, bits of dry crunchy noodle crumbling out of it. The bread's contents scraped against the inside of his mouth, and he found out the hard way an entire bay leaf made it into the bite as well. "it sure has a lot of texture, paps."

This pleased Papyrus. "NYEH HEH! BUT OF COURSE! TEXTURE IS ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT COMPONENTS OF A DISH."

"yeah you always know what a dish kneads." He took another bite.

"OH MY GOD SANS. DON'T START."

"what? my puns are the yeast of our problems." Another bite.

"SANS!!"

"just roll with it paps." Crumbs and sauce were getting everywhere.

"SANS! NO MORE...HALF-BAKED PUNS OUT OF YOU! NYEH!"

Sans burst out laughing, and kept laughing, until tears streamed down his face. He kept grabbing more bread, and shoving it in his face as best he could through the laughter and tears. Papyrus had to wonder again if he was okay.

Was he okay? Sans really wasn't sure. He so desperately wanted to go home, but it just wasn't happening. He felt like he was given an amazing opportunity, and he missed his chance. He couldn't prove to the universe that he wanted it enough, and so not only could he not go home, he couldn't live life as a human either.

All he could do was laugh, cry, and eat more and more of this bread. It hurt. But somewhere inside him, he didn't want to admit, he couldn't help thinking maybe this was what home was like. A home anyway. The taste of the bread...the old couch...a little brother. And, maybe home hurt sometimes. A reminder that he couldn't have everything to make him whole. Torn between his origins and his current life.

At least this life came with a cool brother.

He curled up against Papyrus, still slowly attempting to munch on bread, and drifted off to much needed sleep.

.....Papyrus eventually remembers to call Grillby to tell him Sans is back.

I didn't know how much canonically Papyrus knew about Chance's past as a human, and how Chance expected to go "home" someday. I just kinda made him know here....and be low-key anxious that someday his brother would leave D:

I might have seen too late that Papyrus doesn't make his own bread, but.....it's spaghetti bread??? XD Which I found out after writing IS A REAL DISH!? ...WHY XD I thought for sure I was making it up but no...real life beat me to it. But at least the version in this fic is a true Papyrus original 😉 Also going under the assumption here that these skeletons can taste cuz...why would they love bread so much otherwise?? Well, doesn’t matter so much in the actual fic anyway.

I had Chance stay human for so long, longer than in the Human Candy comic, cuz of the magic that makes up the candy. Using hypnotism to trick the soul into thinking its human. Chance already believed he was human so strongly it enhanced the effect.

In fact I wonder if it could possibly work so well he could be in that form for weeks, or indefinitely, so strong is his conviction. But, well.... Some things are more important to him. (Yeah, this picture was a big inspiration for the direction the fic took).

Because the candy would have naturally run out well before he actually turned back, this wavering in his conviction was enough to end its effects. So...while Sans wasn't correct in thinking the universe had something to do with it, he was a little correct in that his mindset had an effect.

A Heartstone Birthday

I knew that my birthday this year was gonna feel.....at least a little bit empty. It hasn’t been BAD so far, but I haven’t been able to shake away that feeling as I look back to where I was last year compared to this year. I think back to those I celebrated with, and.....it hurts.

And.....I don’t wanna hurt. Or force people to pay attention to me. But I also wanted to do something special. So, I decided to do something I’ve been meaning to do for a while, but kept putting off for months: My return to Heartstone.

The last time I’ve played this game was.....September, I think? I didn’t WANNA be away for so long, but between mental health stuff and Splatoon 2 taking priority when I WAS in the mood for games due to Splatfests.....I just kept procrastinating on a game I DO really enjoy. I guess another part of the equation is the stress of trying to remember what I was doing, too. That’s a pretty big reason why I wasn’t interested in AC until this game.

So.....yeah, I’ve missed a LOT......the big things I really regret missing are Halloween, Toy Day, and New Year’s. Especially Toy Day, if that’s anything like it was in New Leaf. But, although it stings, I just gotta suck it up and wait until, uh....this year. Muuuuuuch later this year, ugh.....why do I suck at playing this game!? XD

But at LEAST I didn’t miss my birthday. And, yeah, this was a good day to return on, because it was really cute! And also a bit more interactive than I expected.

Scoot took me to his house, where I celebrated with him, Hazel, and Margie. I think that means that these are the villagers I’m closest with? And I’m happy about that! And also not really surprised. Scoot and Hazel were my starting villagers, and I just really adore Margie and have given her a lot a gifts. XD

After blowing out the candles and receiving my present from them (an entire birthday table!), here’s the part I wasn’t expecting - I got to hit a pinata around! O__O That’s....new! And inside were.....cupcakes? I don’t think those are the kinda treats you should really put in a pinata.....but whatever, I like it! The only downside to the event was that.....that was a really cute pinata, so I felt bad about breaking it! =<

I absolutely love the whole cupcake thing, though! I love how you go around giving them to the villagers you didn’t celebrate with, so everyone has a bit of the party! Also, it gave me an excuse to catch up with everyone after so long, heh....Most of their presents were clothes I wouldn’t wear (I’d never sell them, though!), but one of them got me a winter hat that I decided to put on, cuz.....winter. It’s green, which I don’t like as much as blue and black, but it’s still cute and would go with a black winter coat just fine.

(Guess what? Pietro was thinking of moving away.....Like Alastor would say: HA, no! Like I’d let one of my villagers go on the same day I came back! And especially not him! XD)

Sadly, however, there weren’t enough cupcakes for everyone, which....I really think there should have been? It just feels kinda wrong to leave one villager out....For me, it was poor Deli, who I saw last. And eating’s his thing, too.....And he told me he missed me! I feel bad....I’m gonna have to find something to give him to make up for it.

So, that’s about it for the birthday stuff, but I still had a lot to do on my first day back! First off, this is my first time seeing winter in this game, and it looks great! .....But why are the flowers still blooming, and why are the fruit still-? Uuuuuuhh.......I-I won’t question it. It’s a game. And I like seeing my black tulips still there....

A lot of the day was spent refreshing myself on what I was doing before I left. What items I was holding, what I was planning on doing with those items....How many Bells I had, and so on. I also tried seeing if there were any new bugs in the winter by catching a few, but only one was new. While it does make sense for not many bugs to be out, I’m definitely gonna keep an eye out for more. And finally, I went to the Able Sisters to get myself a winter outfit, since I don’t wanna be walking around in the snow in a t-shirt.....and luckily, they had a black coat that I liked! It’s called a “peacoat”....it looks good on me, but I’ll still check to see if they can gave more types of coats....Like, maybe a more fluffy one? Or maybe a scarf? Are there scarves in this game? I’d wear one! I hate the cold, so more warmth the better.....but for now, I’m all dressed up for the winter!

Also, there are a lot of random snowflakes drifting about, which I’ve been collecting......and somehow they’re not melting in my pockets. XD I already have my first seasonal DIY recipe, which involves snowflakes. So....I assume that snowflakes are primarily a DIY ingredient for winter recipes, like the shells were in the summer! (Or maybe they have another use I haven’t seen yet, I dunno) I don’t really want a winter room, but I’m collecting them anyway just in case I wanna make at least one thing with them. You never know.

So, I pieced everything together pretty quickly after opening all my birthday presents and not being able to put all of them away - I wanted the next house extension ASAP, didn’t I? XD Well, I better get on that....I think I’m pretty close. And once I remembered that, I remembered the long-term goal....the K.K. thing, which I still haven’t gotten cuz I’m been slacking- SERIOUSLY, why am I so bad at this game!? XD OK, OK, one thing at a time.....new room. Right. I remember what I wanted my next room to be.

So, aside from my birthday, nothing major happened today. It was just me catching up with everyone, updating my appearance for the season, catching some stuff, and remembering my goals. Next time, I’ll definitely work towards upgrading my house. My full storage will drive me crazy if I don’t knock that out right away. And I’ve also stockpiled a lot of furniture for the next room, since I know what I want it to be, so I can’t wait to set that in motion! I also think I wanted to build a bridge somewhere near my house, but my black tulips are in the way, so I’ll have to move all those somewhere...but I’m not in a major hurry to do that as much. It’s just something I wanna jot down so I’ll keep it in mind.

(Also note to self: “I’m sorry” gift for Deli. Keep an eye out.)

I’m gonna TRY to start playing this daily again, but it’s a habit that I’ll have to force myself back into. I know there’s another Splatfest coming up this month (one that’s BRAND new, so I won’t wanna miss it), plus I now have Pokemon Shield so I finally wanna start playing that.....but I’m still gonna keep at least some focus on this game. This isn’t a game I need to spend a TON of time on each day. Maybe just an hour or two, unless something big happens. While I’m bummed about missing the holidays, I like this game, and I’m happy I made myself play it today. I missed it.....and I needed it.

but part of me just couldn’t stop wondering what on earth those ‘horrible crimes’ were ... that you can have photo evidence of ..... like i’m guessing it’s not going to be something like child sex trafficking or something because i suspect richard would’ve been a lot more ruffled if it were something to that level

and then i’m like, well, what was it then? i guess they’re hinting at a debauched sex thing because, y’know, it’s russ. but now i’m like, what kind of sex thing could it be that it’s 1) illegal, 2) viscerally gross, 3) but not so morally reprehensible that richard is any more disturbed than he was in that scene which was .. not that disturbed

maybe it was some kind of arson or illegal poaching thing

anyway i recognise the point of this device is to never reveal what it is and have our minds go crazy, and it’s succeeded because i’m an obsessive neurotic

the scene in the end of them in the desert .......... makes me think of breaking bad

that’s the second ending scene that was reminiscent of breaking bad (the first being the birds dying at maximo’s window. that was reminiscent in the whole thing, whereas this was only reminiscent aesthetically)

i think 6.02 made me feel actually insanely bugged out what with maximo... and 6.04 made me feel bad because of all the unfortunate shit that was happening for everyone ...

6.01 shocked me with how FUCKING jarrich it was, and 6.03 had me euphoric because it was so fucking thrilling and victorious

and what of this episode, 6.05? how does it make me feel?
