The urge to breed is extreme in Yautja, it's how their species survives. To be able to have a population of hunters, you need to be able to produce lots of offspring, fast.

To say they have a breeding kink would be a giant understatement.

So while being a god will gain you enough attention as is, (albeit it's mostly from yautia wanting to fight you), being a fertility god will get you...a different kind of attention.

• You will know no peace.

Wether or not this is a good thing is up to you.

But you can be certain that the moment these giant breeding machines realize that being what you are it's likely you can reproduce with them, there is no escaping their fighting over you. After all, who can resist having a pup who could potentially have god-like powers?

And while they would never put a claw on you (and get away with it-) being courted by a yautja can be pretty...violent. So make sure to explain the way in which you'd like to be woo'd, unless you'd appreciate a blood-soaked alien offering you the head of some poor creature on your doorstep.

• Yautia and Infertility

As much as I'd like to paint yautia in a progressive light, their culture does heavily rely on the improvement and expansion of their species. And to do that, they need to produce offspring.

And though they do have the technology for artificial insemination, there is still a certain stigma around it.

Yautja mating is centered around getting the mate with the best genes so the resulting pups will become high ranking warriors. So you can see why being infertile might be a bit of a problem in that regard.

Therefore...

• Female yautja will ask you for help

Once they get word of your capabilities, you'd find little gifts littering the places you often frequent. Often a collection small skulls, sometimes bigger one's, engraved with the names and wishes of your admirers. And while you're used to offerings, dead things... really aren't what you're about.

Eventually you'd have to sit them down and explain that, while you're grateful, you're the god of fertility, not the god of death.

The next day you'd find something living in your home instead.

Let's just say you'll have to make space for a lot of new pets.

• If it's mating season...run.

Or hide, though I'm afraid either way it's gonna be hard to escape them. Male and female alike, their hormones will run rampant during that time and you do not want to be in the middle of that.

Especially not if you have a mate. And even less if they are female.

Yes, Male yautja fight for their mates all the time and it does get bloody. But have you ever bared witness to a female yautja who's mate is being taken away from them? No? Good. Pray that you never will.

     There were many pockets scattered across the digital world. Old or deleted games lost to time were turned into safe havens for video game characters with no other place to go other than the cruel confines of their game. 

You aren’t quite sure how strong your girlfriend is but she managed to create this place for the both of you while you weren’t hopping from game to game. Its form was constantly changing most likely from a lack of stability but that didn’t matter to you. If anything, it showed off your love’s impression strength and dedication.

It almost felt like the both of you were living the life you always dreamed of. You lazed in bed, limbs sprawled out carelessly. The sound of Sado’s humming kept you awake. It wasn’t like you wanted to go back to sleep anyways but you weren’t ready to start the day either.

 Sado on the other hand was a go-getter.

There was a lot your beloved didn’t tell you. You knew that there would always be a part of her that you’ll never see but that doesn’t stop you from giving her all of your trust. Even when she was away in a game she wasn’t meant to be in, doing things beyond your understanding, you trust her. You knew you weren’t as capable as she was but you wished you could still help her out. The work she did was never ending and it seemed she was more tired than usual. 

Her movements were sluggish and her hair was tousled with the small ponytail beginning to fall out on its own. The space she created for the both of you had shrank in size and occasionally spiders would scatter out of her sleeves and on one rare occasion, her mouth. 

It was an understatement to say you were concerned. You don’t know where she had gone when you were peacefully sleeping but whatever happened left her with barely enough energy to keep her physical form stable. You had always viewed Sado as some untouchable entity, a being with enough power to rearrange the stars if she wished. You wonder if she thought that about herself because she hardly took time to rest. You didn’t want to figure out how much longer it might take her before she crumbled underneath the weight of fatigue. 

Sado isn’t as perceptive as she usually is as she assumes you’re still asleep. Not wanting to wake you, she doesn’t bid you goodbye as she walks past the bed. She halts when she feels a hand grip the back of her shirt. 

“Yes dear?” Despite sounding completely out of it, she still smiles at you sweetly. She turns to face you and your grip on her shirt is replaced with her hand sliding into yours. 

“I think you should stay and rest.” Your request feels more like a plead as you sit up and look her in the eyes. You don’t even bother trying to hide your concern, you want her to know that you’re worried about her. If she’s going to treat herself this poorly she needs to know how much it hurts you. 

Sado’s resolve crumbles as she sits on the bed beside you. You wrap your arms around her shoulders and slowly pull her down with you. Usually she’s the one who holds you like this but now you think it’s her turn to feel loved and protected. You take her hat off and place it on the side. Your hands slowly undo the side ponytail, making sure not to tug on her hair. You rarely see her like this with her hair framing her face as it rests on her shoulders. 

You cautiously run a hand through her hair, letting your hand bury itself in the dark strands. A hand on your wrist stops you from retracting it and she looks up at you with a sense of peace you’ve never seen in her eyes before. “Keep your hand there, it feels nice.” Her head rests on your chest as she closes her eye. Even the pressure of her body leaning against yours felt special. Knowing that she trusts you so much makes your heart feel warm. 

You’d do anything to see her look this relaxed all the time. You’d take on anything if it meant she could rest easy if only for a moment. You wonder if this is what Sado thinks when she’s holding you close, looking down at you with the same adoration you’re looking at her with. 

Her hair isn’t long enough to braid but you try anyways, your fingers interweaving themselves in the strands. Her hair is surprisingly soft. With her hair down you can see how fine it is. 

Sado’s breathing begins to even out and when you look at her face you realize that she fell asleep. You smile and adjust the blanket so that it’s on top of her. The sight of her peaceful slumber makes you yawn as you lay back down next to her. You try not to make noise or move her too much as you don’t want to disturb her sleep. Luckily for you seems to be out like a light. You wonder if she’s normally a heavy sleeper or if she just really trusts you. 

You know that the world beyond this place is a tragic one, you know that you’ll face hardships. But for now you’re able to forget about that and sleep with the one you love closest to you.

it’s a multi-vortex tornado. i dont remember the tribe it originates from (i think it was cherokee), but there’s a native american legend…? saying? that goes “if you see a man in a tornado, you are about to die.”

the most infamous shot of a dead man walking tornado hit jarrell, texas in 1997

it did so much damage to the town it caused the scale that tornados are measured by, the fijita scale, undergo revisions, and it made anchoring buildings in the tornado alley region pretty much mandatory. (it took the entire town off the map. only those who had taken shelter outside of the town or in underground bunkers survived.)

If Scott got a nickel for every time you went out with Duncan, he would have two, which isn't much, but it's strange that it happened twice, since seeing you talk and go out with Duncan was too much for him.

Duncan asked you out once, and you accepted out of politeness? Genuine interest? Boredom? You don't really know, but you accepted and discovered that Duncan wasn't so bad to hang out with (despite being the perfect jock stereotype), and after that, he wanted to interact with you more, and yesterday you went out with him again.

Was Scott jealous? Yes, after all Duncan and Scott don't get along.

But it got to the point where Duncan was sending you flowers! Always with a little note from him, which Scott was happy to give you (the flowers, without the note).

Now waiting for you outside the school to leave as normal is something he enjoys (not that he didn't before), even though other people left with you, it was just you and Scott, without Duncan.

He looks around, no sign of you, you're just taking a while, that's all, then when you arrive, everyone will leave for the institute.

He looks around again, it wasn't you, but it was Kitty, you two talk a lot so maybe she knows why you're taking so long.

cold... that was what her body felt at the moment

loneliness... that was what her heart felt at the moment

she didn't know what she was, she just knew that she felt a feeling of anguish, abandonment... she slowly touches her own face, it was strange...? her face was like a small sun, it was warm to the touch, but her hand seemed to pass over her face. She looks around, there was nothing around, just endless and vast darkness, the only light was her own head. When she looked down she saw a being... very peculiar, she waves and the being seemed to imitate her. She bends down and tries to touch the being's hand, when she touches it she realizes that that being was herself, and was just her reflection.

She gets up and tries to walk and ends up staggering a little. little by little she walks through the vast darkness like a small light in the middle of the dark void. Her heart beat with loneliness and fear, but she stood firm and continued her journey...

After walking for a while, she sees a light in the distance, desperate to find someone she starts running. When she gets close to the light she finds... a being identical to her, it's light is the same as hers...
