Part 2
Deep in the mountains, where cell service was spotty at best, nestled your warm, comfortable home. It housed you and two dogs. There was nothing more than needed for this relaxing life you live. With internet at the house, you can work remotely for your job. Never required to come in and barely show your face.
Both dogs, Kodiak and Vivian, were curled up happily on the couches. Each dog getting their own seat to themselves. You huffed with a soft smile at the sight before grabbing your keys. “Okay, babies, I’ll be back. Be good for me!” you called out to them. Only Vivian raised her head. Besides that, neither made an effort to say goodbye to you.
With that, you went out the front door. A bitter cold instantly rained down on you. It tried to bite through your jacket to steal away your warm. The jacket held strong while you hustled towards your auto-started truck. A necessity if living this far from town and in the dead of winter. A little Nissan wasn’t going to get you even down your driveway in this kind of weather.
Inside the vehicle, it was wonderfully warm and toasty. The heat blasted while the butt warmers worked their magic. I put the key into the ignition then carefully crawled down the driveway.
The trip to the store was uneventful. Just the same people you see every two weeks when you make the adventure down to town. Everyone knows everyone. They know who you are and know this is the day you come in. Usually, you get the same thing every time. Once in a blue moon, you’ll find something of interest and place that into your cart as well.
Today was no different than any other. You grabbed the necessary items and piled your cart up. Items that would last the two weeks away from civilization. That included fresh fruits and vegetables. Those would be stretching it to last that long. Yet, they were part of your diet. You made due.
Susan, a young woman, brightened up at the sight of you. The gloomy teenager was the daughter of the owner. Her mother made her work here. Something she complained about often. You could agree with her. She may seem rude on the outside but once you break past that shell, she was a dear to chat with.
The two of you caught up on intel about what’s been happening around the town. Mainly, Susan chatted your ear off. Apparently, Rick, a well known hunter, had gone missing. It was like he up and vanished from thin air. You may not know the man well but you’ve allowed him to stay at your home while he went up further into the mountains to hunt.
Then, Susan began to rave about a new guy that just moved into town. She instantly called dibs on him and pointed an accusing finger at you. “Dibs! He’s mine. Don’t even think about it,” she playfully scolded and continued to scan more of the items you were buying.
A laugh bubbled in your chest. Both of your hands were raised at the sides of your head, in surrender. “Okay, okay. I got the message. He’s all yours.” Not that you think this man was old enough for you to dabble with. You weren’t interested anyhow. No one in town… really riled you up. Which explains your dry spell.
She narrowed her eyes at you for a moment before relaxing. “Good. I’ve been trying to get his number the moment I’ve heard he moved in,” she told you, shoulders sagging.
“Oh, I’m sorry to hear that.” The words may seem apologetic, but Susan knew better. There was sarcasm hidden between them.
Instead of her finger, she threatened you with a log of ground beef you were going to use for burgers or tacos. “Oh hush, miss ‘lonely on top of my mountain’. I don’t know how you do it. Only having those two dogs as company. Seems so lonely and cruel to yourself.” Susan shook her head, letting her blonde hair sway side to side.
You chuckled with a grin and leaned on the counter. “I’m a loner. It’s not a bad life. Bills paid. The forest as my backyard. The birds and squirrels greeting me in the morning. With a small river to dip my feet in every day. It’s peaceful and relaxing. You should try it,” you offered with a teasing glint in your eyes.
“With Rick missing, I wouldn’t step foot out there. Who knows what took him. What if it’s like a Green River killer situation happening? You could be next. You would be a perfect opportunity.” The last of the items were scanned. You put your card into the reader. “All alone. You only come down into town every two weeks. No cell service. If you were killed, we wouldn’t know until the next time you were suppose to come in.”
With all of that laid down in front of you, the realization of the situation with Rick hit you. Yes, you could next. But, for someone to find your property that far into the mountains, they would need to specifically hunt you down.
“Susan, I’m fine. I got a gun, my dogs, and a lot of courage. Why else would I like so far from civilization? I knew the risks. I’m willing to take it.” You pulled the card out of the reader and slipped it back into your wallet. “Plus, Kodiak and Vivian would alert me if someone was near. They’re good guard dogs.” Well, not Vivi. Kodiak, was though.
The teenager reached across the counter to grasp your hand. “I still worry. You’re… one of my few friends that I feel close to. Please, don’t let you go missing too,” she pleaded with a hurt look etched into her features. You placed your other hand on top of hers and patted it.
“I won’t. You know me. I fight like hell,” you reassured her. Susan looked at you for a few more moments before taking back her hand. The two of you said your goodbyes before you left the store with a full cart.
On the drive back home, your thoughts were slightly scrambled from the fact there was Rick was missing. He knew the forest like the back of his hand. Any of the kids in town who wanted to learn to hunt went to him. He was an excellent hunter. One of the bests out there. But now… he was MIA. That thought churned your stomach.
Whilst in the deep end of your thoughts, your truck came around a corner. The snow on the road wasn’t terrible. A current flurry fell to cover the ground. It only made the sight difficult to see in front of you. Yet, you knew this roads like the back of your hand.
The added weight in the back of your reliable truck aided you well. You happily kept trucking your way along and popping to the sounds of your music.
Before it registered in your mind, something smashed into the grill guard on the front of your truck. Whatever it was went flying and disappeared through the flakes that filled the air. You gasped and stupidly stomped on the brakes. What little road there was present caught your tires and thankfully stopped you rapidly.
You were out of the vehicle before you knew it and rushing towards whatever you had hit. The snow was slick under your feet and took you into the embankment. Your feet were no longer underneath you. A short yell escaped you. You found yourself sunk into two feet of snow. When you get home, it seems like you’ll be stripping. The last thing you wanted was to get sick.
As you slowly rose to your feet, one of your hands landed on something that didn’t feel like it should be. Warmth greeted your palm. In this weather? It’s below freezing.
A confused expression pinched at your features. With a caution that guided your moves, you began to brush away the snow you must have pushed onto whatever this is.
One brush revealed something dark under the snow. The light of the day showed the surface to be… scaly? That’s the best word you could come up with. You peered down to see a fishnet like material that covered the scales. All you could think of was a stripper. Did you hit a… stripper? What the hell was a stripper doing this far from town? Why?
Despite it being imposable, the figure was warm. Pleasantly warm to the touch. You uncovered more and more until you come to release this was a human? Sort of. It had a humanoid form but wore a mask of metal. It covered the lower portion of its face to show off two deep eyes which were closed.
Whoever this was, wasn’t normal. The head shape was what screamed at you. Then, the strange rubbery like dreads that sprouted from underneath its dome shape head. Whiskers that looked to be made of the same material as its hair created eyebrows that crawled up the edges of its head.
Was this the thing you hit?! Your hand wrapped around its wrist, only to find that your fingers couldn’t even encircle it. There was at least two inches of space. But, you turned its wrist so the underside pointed skyward. Two fingers were placed on where a pulse point would be on human.
The warmth the form produced was amazing. The snow was melting when it fell on its exposed body. You almost wished to snuggle against it and savor its heat. Instead, you felt like behind your fingertips with relief. Now, what were you going to do with it?
For a moment, you glanced at your truck and knew the tonneau cover on the bed of your truck would be protective. There was not a chance in a million years that you could lift its hulking form and seat in it. The bed of your truck would be the easiest to get it into your truck. You didn’t know what it was. That was the scary part. But, you felt awful for smashing into it. The poor thing unconscious and lying in a ditch.
Your bottom lip was gnawed on.
With whatever strength you had, the humanoid figure found its way partial draped over your shoulders and back. Both of its muscular arms were thrown over your shoulder to help keep it up. You carefully dragged the unknown creature up the embankment and over to your truck.
Its head was next to your ear. Soft snores escaped its hidden mouth. The corner of your mouth curls up in a softly smirk. The sound was adorable for something so big. You didn’t except it make such a noise.
Your legs quivered with the strain of holding the creature up and reaching for your tailgate. The door eased down and offered you the needed space. A grunt surged past your lips. You tossed his upper portion onto the tailgate. The back end of your truck lowered with the added weight. Then, you bent down to grab its lower legs.
The strength it took to get the rest of it inside nearly made a vein pop in your forehead. You panted and leaned against your truck, head tilted back. The biting cold and falling snowflakes made your nose cold. You pushed the rest of it far enough before closing the gate with a slam. One more glance around provided no results. Just the empty forest that surrounded you.
You got back into your truck with a shuttering breath. Heat blasted in your face and unfroze the skin. It felt wonderful compared to the cold that clawed desperately to suck away your warmth. But, the metal of the vehicle protected you. You put it into drive and continued the drive back home to your dogs.
On the way back, all you could think of was the creature. What was it? And why was it out here of all places? This was the middle nowhere. There was no cell service. Nothing out here. Just the way you like it. Yet, here was this monstrous, towering beast that didn’t look human. Here you are, taking it home… to do what? Take care of it? To nurture it back to health? Well, you did hit him with your truck. That, you felt bad about.
White blanketed the entire front area of your driveway. The snow still coming down heavily at this point. You stepped out. The bitter cold returning to steal your heat. You trudged to the front door and unlocked before returning to the tailgate of your truck. It took little effort to pull it open and reveal the still unconscious body. You didn’t know what you would’ve done if it was awake. That was the last thing you wanted to deal with right now.
From the front door to your current position, it was about fifteen feet. The front porch was protected by the overhang. You gathered your strength and nerves before dragging the form closer to you. The truck continued shake at the weight of the creature. This was going to be difficult. You lugged the chest of it onto your back while slinging it’s arms over your shoulders. Not even the full weight was upon you and you felt like it was about to crush you. The adrenaline from before had worn off during the drive.
The muscles of your thighs trembled as you strained to get it out. You guess this was your sign to work out from more. It took a lot of finesse to lug the form out so it could be draped haphazardly over the top of you. One step after another, you worked your way to the front door and kicked it open. Both dogs charged out the front door to greet you. They raced up to the two of you and heavily sniffed at the legs of the creature.
Guys! Stop! It’s difficult enough to carry this thing without either of you trying to drag it down,” you scold the two with a stern voice. Both of them eased up on their excitement but continued to take in its scent. You sighed and finally entered your home after such a long day.
The creature flopped down onto your couch the best you could with it’s size. It was massive, not even fitting on your full length couch. You wiped your forehead with the back of your hand in a humorous manner before marching out the front door again. From there, you hauled in the days work you had gone out to retrieve.
Once everything was inside the house, the door was closed and animates corralled back inside. All the food and supplies you got were swiftly put away before you got out the first aid. You didn’t know what you could do for it without any medical knowledge. It was let bleeding by the looks of it. You knelt besides it on the couch and noticed what looked to be bruising and swelling all along its right side. The grill guard. Your fingers gingerly ran along the blazing scales.
This was all your fault.
With the limited knowledge to care for serious injuries, you grabbed an ice pack from deep within your freezer. Kodiak and Vivian came over to investigate why you weren’t giving them attention. Kodiak, the bigger of the two, had his hackles raised and stood rigid a few feet away from the two of you. On the other hand, Vivian nudged her short, boxer nose into the creatures very human-like hand. The main difference was the scales and long black claws that tipped each finger. You shuttered and placed the cloth wrapped ice packs on the swelling.
Wheezing sounded with each inhale and exhale. The noise worried you. It wasn’t like you could take it doctor though. One look at this thing would have the FBI and CIA on your ass the second afterwards.
Despite it looking dangerous, the last thing you wanted was to put it through more harm. You already hit it with your truck and sent it flying like a reindeer through the air. The evidence was blooming on its two-tones scales. A mix of burgundy and tan. The red turning dark in some areas.
Upon closer inspection, skin was spilt on its forehead. Red blood did not flood from the cut. But a neon green that glowed despite the light in your living room. You did the best you could to tend to the mediocre cut. It wasn’t like it needed to be worried over. You fulfilled your duties then stepped away to prepare for dinner. There wasn’t much else you could do for it.
Now, it was up to fate if it is to wake up.
Amidst the preparation of dinner, your dogs whined and begged for their own. A glance at the clock told you it was past their dinner time. You were swift to make up a healthy concoction of raw meat, eggs, and a couple of vitamins to sprinkle on top. Their bowls were set in their respected spots. Each dog was given their command to eat.
Satisfied with that, you happily returned to making yourself food for the night. Every once in a while, you would glance over at the limp body still blanketing your couch. You still couldn’t believe how massive it was. If it were to stand, it would easily tower over you. You were thankful it hadn’t woken up though. You didn’t know what you would do when it would possibly wake up.
Water boiled in an otherwise empty pot. You side stepped to reach for the box of pasta. At the same time, you peered over your shoulder for a fleeting moment. The couch was empty. The box became your focus. You opened it up before pausing.
The couch was empty.
Heat flooded your backside.
A scream left your lips. Your body reacted before your mind fully comprehend the situation. You spun around and chucked the box of open pasta at the wall of muscles that stood directly behind you. It bounced off and scattered loose noodles all over the ground.
The wall didn’t move. Another scream left your lips. You scrambled to get towards the bat next to your door. Kodiak was the first to react and come bounding into the kitchen at full speed. A deep rumbling growl filled the air. Angry barks echoed off of the walls.
The cold metal of the bat met your palm. You whipped around and wielded your new weapon in the face of your intruder. Only to pause at the sight of the towering figure in your kitchen. Despite the lower portion of its face covered, its eyes clearly showed the confusion inside of them. It glanced down at the spilled pasta then at you. You gulped and kept the bat in front of you. God, it looked like it could take this thing away from you and bend it into a pretzel.
When it made no move towards as the tense seconds passed by, you timidly lowered the bat. Your tongue darted out to wet your dry lips. “You’re… awake,” you stated the obvious. But, you didn’t know what to say. Could it even understand you?
Intelligence shone in its bright, yellow eyes.
Nothing human-like.
It took a moment to take in its surroundings and ignored the snarling, slobbering dog in front of him. Its form was lax. You didn’t know if that should scare you or not.
“Kodiak!” you recalled the protective, black mut to you. His growls died down. His eyes didn’t leave the towering form the creature. He expertly walked over to you and stood in front of you. His body acting like a wall.
Vivian roamed into the kitchen, nose towards the ground. The boxer mutt sniffed at the fallen pasta until she came upon the creature. Her tongue lolled out while she tilted her head up. Her tail began to wag.
The two of them are polar opposites.
Fear gripped your heart. It knelt down and started to stroke her head. You didn’t miss the way it winced at the move. Guilt flooded you. It was your fault it was in this situation. Injured. The least you could do was offer a roof over its head and a full belly. Hopefully, that would save you from any transgressions. The last thing you wanted to do was piss it off. Those arms could tear your head straight from your body.
Bright yellow eyes returned to your timid form. In the eyes of a predator. Your heartrate began to pick up. You swallowed hard. “How, how are you feeling?” Thoughts were racing in your mind. Maybe, you could offer it some painkillers to ease off the agony of what looked to be broken ribs. They were at least bruised and could even be cracked. If they were broken, you wouldn’t forgive yourself. It was hard enough with the knowledge you had hit it.
A shuttering breath escaped your quivering lungs. It stared at you. All while petting Vivian. She just sat there, happy as a clam. Her tail wagging away in delight. Kodiak didn’t leave you despite his adoptive sister getting attention.
Then, it stood up. You felt yourself shrink. It was evident that this thing could move without you noticing. It shouldn’t be possible with its size and mass. None of the floorboards had creaked when it originally snuck up behind you.
While it looked at you, it felt wrong to return its gaze. As if you were poking the bear. You were making the situation worse than it already is. How could it get worse than this?!
Your front door shattering. Wood went flying at each of your feet’s. You yelled out and covered your head. The bat still gripped tightly in a death grip. A white blur zipped in front of you.
The form ignored you to wrap a hand around the creature and lifted him off of the ground. Kodiak went wild and charged without a care of his own safety. You screamed at him but he was in his own mind. To protect you.
Vivian yelped and scampered the best she could on the hard wood away from the scene. She was the smarter of the two.
Before stood a nearly ghost white humanoid form. Similar to the creature you had saved from the snow. Yet, its dreads were pure white. Devoid of any melatonin. You gasped. It had a death grip around the red creature’s throat and lifted it off of the ground. A pained grunt left its throat while it scrambled to get out of the hold.
Like son, like parent. You charged forward with the bat and smashed the metal end against the back of its white head. Ghost dropped Red with a pained grunt. Not a second was wasted. You continued to beat down on its nogging like your life depended on it. A guttural cry left your lips as you relentlessly bashed the metal bat.
A white slightly lime green hand whipped out and snatched the bat straight from your hands. Now, you were defenseless in the face of this monster.
Teeth latched onto its calf and dug in. Neon green blood sprayed out and soaked into Kodiak’s maw. You took the chance to back away.
A hulking body launched through the air and drug Ghost down. Fist flew. The harsh sounds of skin meeting skin in a vicious beat down filled the air. You stood there, arms slightly raised, as if you froze in the process of fleeing. All you do was watch as Red continued to introduce his knuckles to the metal of Ghost’s face.
The strength behind each punch caused the metal cave before giving. Neon green blood coated his red fists and coated them to the point it was flung everywhere. Its warmth dotted your clothing and face. But, you didn’t even flinch at the feeling.
Once Ghost had stopped moving, the punches halted. A scary calm entered the air. Red’s chest heaved with breaths but the mouth mask quieted the noise. You swallowed and pushed down the ringing in your ears. Its head whipped towards you with a rumbling snarl that nearly sent Kodiak off again. But, the lanky mutt came up to you to stand guard once in front of you.
Red realized it was you and silenced the sound immediately. Your hand carded through Kodiak’s fur to help quell the racing in your chest. The creature let his head tilt back a deep groan. Its dark dreads swayed at the move. The metal décor clinking against one another.
Your hand touched at your chest. The adrenaline in your system fading with each beat of your heart. The heat of the moment finally over. But, the fact you had nearly been slaughtered was a neon sign right in front of you. Your eyes finally focused on Red who was still straddling the dead body; of whatever they were.
In what felt like less than a minute, the situation had returned to normal. As the powerful drug left your veins, the biting cold that slithered into your expose home caused a chill down your back. You shivered and hugged at yourself.
The front door. It was nearly gone. Only bits and pieces hung on to the hinges. All the heat that was once inside the cozy home was gone. In came a cold you didn’t know how to battle.
A whimper left your lips.
A wall of muscle stood in front of you. Red’s hulking frame stood like a redwood tree over you. The first instinct was to shrink away. To flee. Pretty much. Your feet were rooted to the ground, unable to gather the strength and courage to run. To be a coward in the face of danger.
Kodiak no longer growled but his hackles were raised high. His dark brown eyes watched the unknown figure closely.
Heat rolled down in comforting waves off its body. It almost made you want to press yourself against it. You refrained from that embarrassing idea and glanced back over towards the destroyed door. “My door,” you pouted, sorrowfully and hugged yourself tighter. You had to think of something quick to keep the house a decent temperature.
Before you had a chance to get a plan in place, Red was already on the move. His body gracefully into the living room. You watched as blankets were gathered in those thick arms of his. He carried them over to the door.
As the best he could, he draped the blankets in layers. With the metal gauntlet on its arm, it punctured something into the wall multiple times. Each blanket was secured into place. It helped keep the majority of the cold out of your home.
His form stilled after he had blocked off your door. You took a breath of relief. The house was still drastically colder from the exposed elements. What he did though will help with preventing a quick exchange of temperature. You opened your mouth to speak your relief to him when the creature turned around to finally face you.
There was an air around him that made you slightly nervous. It made you off putted. With the dead body of someone like him on your floor, you had all rights to be. A life he took with his very own fists, and showed no mercy.
Yet, Ghost had come in here. A monster on a mission for the creature standing in front of you.
That left you with one major question: “What the hell happened?” you asked in a firm voice. Your heart thumped powerfully behind your breastbone. The adrenaline leaving your system and making you tired. The last thing you wanted was to pass out or grow dazed in front of him. Not when he showed what he could do without a weapon.
Red’s bright, blazing eyes were set on you. He strode across the living room to enter your space. The heat his body radiated rolled off onto you again. It made you strive to curl up against him. But, you stayed rooted in your spot and looked up at his towering frame. You were scared. At the same time, you held your own in the face of danger. A watchful, careful eye was set on him.
Your body was wracked with a shutter.
“You are cold,” he spot in a voice that barely uttered the words. It was almost like it wasn’t natural to him. His tongue and mouth wasn’t meant to form such words. Your eyes flickered wider before narrowing on him.
Both of your hands rested on your hips. “Well, no shit sherlock. It’s freezing outside and your friend here busted down my door,” you snarked at him. The cold making you a bitter human being.
All you could read on his face was his eyes. One of his brows simply raised at your words. “He was no friend.” Welp, he didn’t understand the sarcasm in your voice.
A sigh left your lips while you shook your head. The temperature was still far below a comfortable range. You recrossed your arms firmly to contain your own body heat. “Still doesn’t excuse the behavior for the fact my front door is gone.” It would take you some time before you could go back into town and get yourself a new door. You had work tomorrow. It was dangerous to be out after dark. There was no time between now and tomorrow.
You rubbed at the exposed skin on your arms with another shutter. The creature’s eyes flickered down to watch the move. He moved in. You opened your mouth to demand what he was doing then his arms wrapped around you. The warmth you’ve been craved soaked into your skin. A deep hum escaped you while you sunk against him.
“Why are you so warm?” you mumbled against the scales he had you pressed to. Your arms twitched, desperate to reach out and wrap them around him. Yet, you held back to keep some sort of composure in front of a beast you didn’t know.
Against your cheek, you could feel the bumps from his injured ribs. That brought you back to the present. You pulled away from him to put some distance between the two of you. “How are your ribs?” you asked in a timid voice. Now, you became hesitant to look him in the eye. That was embarrassing to be nearly drooling at the heat he produced. He should be your concern. You had been the one to hit him with your truck. He’s wounded too.
His hand drifted up to said area. Rough pads grazed along the swollen spot on his left side. You winced. It looked worse than before. The fighting must have agitated them more.
A shrug came from him. “They are… fine,” he struggled to find the last word at first.
In all honesty, you weren’t convinced but had to take his word for it. You glanced down at the body then back at him. The front door was unusable. There was the back door.
God, you didn’t want to deal with this now. Worse of all, you lost your appetite. You jolted then rushed over into the kitchen.
Water boiled over the edge of the pot and created a dangerous mess. You instantly turned off the heat and leaned on the counter. You weren’t going to say it but this day had turned worse. Sometimes, it was best to keep your trap shut. That, you learned the hard way.
Pained grunts sounded behind you. You peered over your shoulder at the sight of Red picking up Ghost’s body. He tossed it onto his shoulders, fireman style, with little issues. Your jaw dropped at the sight. Red glanced at you for a fleeting moment before walking towards the only other door in your home. You watched as he stepped out into the snow and darkness.
Despite no light, the snow reflect any and all light. Red walked and walked upon he was barely visible. The body slid off of his shoulders and was quickly swallowed up by the feet of snow that blanketed the area.
No one would find the body. Not this far out. Who would be looking for it in the first place? Clearly, they weren’t from here. They were… from somewhere else.
Red came trudging back into the house and closed the door behind him.
Before a silence could engulf the two of you, you took a breath in. “I don’t know if you know… but I had hit you with my truck. I-I’m sorry. I didn’t even know someone would be out there. No one should be. But here we are. Um, and in return, you are more than welcome to stay here as long as you want. My apologies for hitting you and such,” you stated to him and pushed off of the counter to stand up to your full height.
“There’s not much here. The other two bedrooms are taken. One for the dogs. The other for storage. Not like they had a bed in either of them. Y-you can stay in my room though. It’s big. It’s better than the couch.” God, you kept rambling on and on.
He chuffed. “It will grow cold out here. A ooman such as yourself wouldn’t battle the weather and win.” Your timid status nearly turned at his words. You wanted to smack him for the comment but refrained from doing so. Your head tilted at the use of ‘ooman’. It almost sounded like… human. Could he no say the word?
“What are you suggesting then?” you asked, unsure what he was trying to say.
“We sleep together.” The color drained from your face. Heat blazed to a burning fire all over your face. “We use each other’s body heat. Mostly, keeping you from freezing and dying on me.” He stepped close enough you saw the dimensions of his eyes. “You don’t realize it, but you not only saved me once but twice.”
Confusion took over your features.
“In the forest, on the road. I was fighting against the bad blood. You had came along in your vehicle and hit him. Then, just now.” Wait… you had hit both of them?! Your face morphed into horror. “As much as it pains me to admit to such a thing, you had saved my life twice. As per my honor code that I am bound to, I am in debt. I shall not let harm come to you.”
“Hold up! Hold up. Let me get this straight. I hit both of you.” You began to count off on your fingers with each point. “I somehow saved your life then. I drag you here. I save you again from… a bad blood? My god. What in the hell are you?!” You had both of your hands pointed at him. Your body very animate with your words.
“A Yautja. My name is Dai’stbaen. I am an enforcer,” he explains and forfeits information to you. You clutched at your forehead. “I hunt down bad bloods. Rouges of my kind and kill them.” You had to lean back against the counter again to keep yourself upright. All of this information was flying far too fast at you.
Then… it struck you. “You’re an alien.” It was more of a statement than a question. He wasn’t from earth. Aliens were real. Oh god. You felt lightheaded, on the verge of passing out from all of this hitting you straight in the face. A keen left your throat.
Dai…st’baen dipped his massive dome head. Your gaze was pinned to the floor but you weren’t looking at anything. You were trapped inside of the flying thoughts that turned into a hurricane.
Clearly, there was no sanity left inside of you. Not at this rate.
“Okay then.” After what felt like hours, you finally came to a conclusion. In the moment, you had to just roll with it. Adapt. Survive. A life you knew far too much about while living in the middle of nowhere. You met his eyes. “Well… um, this has been an eventful day. But, I think it’s time to turn it if you don’t mind. I need… to sleep on all of this.” Maybe some sleep could help you think clearer tomorrow.
The burgundy figure looked at you, eyes studying your figure for long moment. You took the moment to step around him and head towards your bedroom. “Come along, I’ll show you.”
Despite not hearing any pitter patter of feet, you felt his huge presence behind you. Like a shadow. You showed him into your room. It wasn’t much. But it was your space that you enjoyed. Yet, here you were, about to share it with someone else. Someone not even your own species.
One of your hands motioned towards the bed. “There’s the bed. I’ll go and grab some more blankets for you. It’ll… be really cold.” The sun was gone far below the horizon. There was no heat to share from the outdoors. It was all on the two of you to survive.
His bright eyes watched as you scurry into the hallway. Though, you wanted to be away from the scrutiny of his powerful gaze, you were swift to get armfuls of blankets. The night won’t be forgiving. Heat was essential to staying alive in a place like this. You didn’t know if he understood that or not. It wasn’t like he needed to be wrapped up in twenty blankets. He was a furnace himself.
All the blankets were tossed onto the bed into a pile. Then, you turned towards him. “I… uh, hope this is fine. It’ll be too cold out in the living room for me.” You really hoped he didn’t kick you out of your room. Not when the temperature could slowly drain you of your warmth.
Dai’stbaen merely shrugged before climbing onto the bed gingerly. You followed suit and wrapped yourself up in the blankets. Though this was your bed, you laid there straight as a rod and stared up at the ceiling.
This was going to be a long night.

New Homes | Platonic Yandere Tweels x Child Reader
“From today on (Y/n), you’ll be hanging out with the Leech family so please…be on your best behavior.”
Your father was always a little timid. Always speaking with a little quake in his voice. His eyes were always wide darting around. His softer hands like to shake as well. Always wavering even when he held you tight.
Your father is timid. which is why he warns you when he leaves you with the Leech family. Babysitters always make him nervous. It must be because there are two this time—two babysitters with lopsided haircuts and smiles filled with sharp daggers for teeth.
“Hello little (Y/n), we’ll be sure to take good care of you.”
“Oi (Y/n), you a swimmer?”
The twins were nice…for teenagers. Other teenagers you knew would sooner shove your head underwater than help you tread it. Other teenagers also didn’t jump at the chance to fight people but that was other teenagers. Not the Leech twins.
“(Y/n), I told you not to look at Floyd when he’s doing that.”
“But that guy is still holding onto our ice cream.”
“We’ll have some at home. Don’t point at him it’s rude.”
Jade is the twin with his bang on the left side of his face. He’s proper and polite, always doing his best to keep you on schedule. Helping you with your homework when he notices you’re struggling or reading to you when it's time to sleep.
“Let me blow your nose.”
“Mmm okay.”
“Good job. Are you ready to go over the edible mushrooms again?”
“Mm okay.”
Floyd is the twin with a yellow left eye and a pitchy voice. He’s loud and silly, always doing fun things that make the day exciting like running in the halls of the manor or playing tickle-monsters when you’ve been working too long.
“I just have to finish these sheets and then I can play!”
“Boooriing! Let’s just play now!”
“B-but Jade said–”
“Jade can make you catch up later! Let’s get our water guns!”
“Yay!”
They were always so much fun to be around, even work wasn’t so bad with them around. They made a place for you in their giant home. Giving you a room as big as your living room back home, which you slowly filled with the larger souvenirs from your days together.
Speaking of home, it was becoming harder to recall. Trying to remember when you thought of your home if the bathroom was to the left of your room or your father’s. It was an odd feeling that sat at the back of your mind when you looked at the glow-in-the-dark ceiling art. Consciousness fading in and out it didn’t stop your brain from planting the seed of curiosity.
“Why…am I at their house so much?”
Usually, the answer would have been simple. Your father worked late so you had babysitters. But you didn’t go to their house usually. They also didn’t feed or play with you as long as they did but that was beside the point.
“(Y/n), you’re playing with your food.”
“Oh sorry Missus Leech.”
You made quick work of the beans on your plate, enthusiastically scarfing down what you could. It didn’t feel right to disappoint Missus Leech, while she never once yelled; there was just this feeling about her. One that called for respect.
“Take your time, (Y/n). I was only worried you’d drift off to sea.”
Looking up at her, tilted your head in confusion.
She let out a giggle. The adult kind that made you feel embarrassed. Looking at Jade, he had an amused smile too, “She means your mind, (Y/n).”
“Oh, I guess a little.”
“What’ya thinkin’ about elver?”
Floyd spoke between bites of food, reminding you to do the same.
“I just think I miss my home a little bit.”
Taking another hefty bite you missed the disdain on someone’s face. A purposeful cough brought your attention up to the patriarch at the head of the table.
“How are those new shoes we bought together?”
Lighting up at the memory of your new shoes, you barely finished chewing.
“So cool! Everyone at school thought they were nice too! And I got so many compliments.”
The older man laughed, nodding his head. “Good. Good. Maybe we should go shopping again soon.”
“Okay!”
Dinner went on like usual with dessert ending your time at the dinner table. Letting Jade and Floyd lead you to your bathroom to begin your nightly routine. You fought off the urge to yawn while Jade helped you brush your teeth, failing when he told you to spit.
“It’s always nice when Mama and Papa come back from trips.”
Floyd spoke with his back lying on the giant bed, filled with stuffed animals and pillows. He was tossing your clowned fish stuffy in the air catching it with ease.
Jade still smiling continued buttoning up your pajamas, “Yes, it seems like the trip went well.”
He looked at you, reminding you to follow him to your bed. “What about you (Y/n)? Did you miss them?”
Your eyelids were feeling heavy. You rubbed them to try to wipe the feeling away.
“Uh yeah.”
Helping Jade shuffle your stuffies around to make a place for you a knock at the door was heard. Floyd must have opened it because by the time you turned Missus Leech was there.
“Mama!”
Rubbing at Floyd’s head she waved to you and Jade.
“Hi there! I was wondering if I could join you for bedtime?”
You couldn’t tell if The question was for you but if it was Jade answered anyway.
“Of course, Mother. We were just about to read their bedtime story.”
Tucked in next to Missus Leech you let yourself lean against her as she flipped through the pages of the book. Letting her words soothe your mind with the familiar words. Jade and Floyd were close by too making you comfy enough to go to sleep.
When the story was done, everyone gave you goodnight kisses before heading for the door. With the last of your energy, you remembered something important.
“Floyd, are you picking me up tomorrow or Daddy?”
________________________________________________________
The teenager was squeezing the fleshy cylinder shape with an intensity strong enough to bend metal. The crunching and squelching of a man’s neck barely brought comfort to Jade as he continued to squeeze his hands.
“There there Jade, these things take time. It was optimistic that they’d forget by now.”
Unfortunately, the words of his father didn’t calm him down. He headed over to his next target, this time allowing them to throw a punch. Dodging the punch he cradled their hand, maneuvering his arm around until it snapped in the opposite direction. The screaming that followed would have curdled blood for most but it was a lesser result to Jade. Who ended it quickly with a firm kick sent backward and into the skull. The crunch that followed and the abrupt cut to the scream allowed the Leech twin to breathe.
“I knew they wouldn’t forget. Despite all the work we’ve done. But they still expect him to come.”
His father stepped forward, avoiding the bodies to place a comforting hand on Jade’s shoulder.
“Perhaps he still does…to them.”
Jade’s eyes widened, the implication bringing a stark realization. He turned to his father, his yellow gaze answering the unspoken question.
To think that with all the work he was saddled with, the sniper still hadn’t abandoned his child. The likelihood was slim but possible. There were quite a few blind spots when it came to the school. Jade had previously ignored them because of the promised security of their contract with the one who wanted him dead. But it seems that wasn’t all they needed to worry about.
“Do you think he plans to take them again?”
“I’d hope not,” entering the warehouse was Fiona Leech having traded out her evening dress for a jumpsuit and shoving a receiver of a baby monitor in her pocket, “our little elver is just about to be settled. It’d be cruel to try moving them again..”
“I don’t think he cares at this point,” Jasper Leech suggested. Pulling out a revolver, he casually aimed and shot the two people tied in the back of the warehouse. He continued, “I hear he’s been getting sloppy with the jobs that one has so graciously allowed him to fix.”
Jade balanced himself wiping his shoe clean with a rag, chiming in himself.
“Now he’s trying to go back on his word. Absolute scum.”
“I’d hate for us to pull them out of school, more change is not what that kid needs.”
“I wouldn’t mind limiting my club activities to partake in homeschooling.”
His mother held his face patting his head fondly as she cooed,” You’re a good boy Jade but you have your new job and all those plans I wouldn’t want you to give that up.”
Jasper sighed, scratching the well-groomed stache on his face. “Guess that means we’re ending our contracts early.”
“Seems so…..Now Jade go on get to bed you have school in the morning.”
“Yes, Mama.”
______________________________________________________________
The shade was nice on sunny days. The coolness that came with the blackened space near the fence was like heaven. The spot was farther away from the plastic playground and the other children running all throughout. Minutes ago, you were just like them running wildly at a more loose game of sharks and minnows.
Past the wood-chipped ground was the back of the school building where the teachers were chatting. Disappearing between the rectangular windows, their attention was on something inside. Distracted enough not to scold you for stepping away from the others. The triumph of your expert timing was the true prize. Relishing in the leaves of the trapezoid-shaped bushes pushing through the fence. Crunchy, tickling, and overgrown the feeling against your back was a minor trait of this sacred place.
There was also the oddly pressing poke of something warm coming through the hole of the fences. Turning to confirm your suspicions, you smiled.
“Hi, Papa.”
“Hello, my Starlight!”
Turning around to mirror his position you laid on your tummy to look him in the eye. His tactical glasses were off and his hair had changed. His longer hair was gone, traded out for a faded cut. Different but still your father. You let his larger gruffer fingers hold your own through the fence, his hands for once not shaking.
“Can I tell you all about my adventures?”
“Of course.”
He let you rant, smiling and nodding all along to all your different adventures. You even took off your shoes and showed him the flickering lights in its soles. He waited until you were out of breath before asking the question again.
“Would you like to come with Papa, this time?”
You hesitated kicking your feet against the wooden chips of the playground.
“Are we going back to our home?”
“...No.”
Tilting your head,” Then are we going to the Jade and Floyd’s?”
The names made him shudder as he hurriedly shook his head.
“W-we’re going someplace new….”
“Where are we going?”
He rubbed at his eyebrows. He was getting annoyed. But you knew you had to ask otherwise you’d be brought somewhere you hated. Like that one time.
“(Y/n) you’re curiosity is great but—”
“Does where we’re going have a bed? Does it have a kitchen? Are we going to be only eating the gas place’s sandwiches?”
He scrunched his hands into his hair, grasping for his non-existent flowing hair. His lips were quivering and his eyes were watering. It made you nervous, sitting up from your tummy and on your knees. You sent a look over your shoulder at the window–the teachers were still occupied. Looking down at your father, you silently sighed as you got into character.
“Hirano wherever you're taking that little Starlight, it better be the best place for a kid. Those Leech’s are makin’ sure they're on time at school, they're well-fed, and I haven’t gotten a call from protective services for a good while.”
“I know! I know Mama but they won’t let me leave. I screwed up! I screwed up really bad! If I don’t do another job for that guy, he’s going to have my head! B-but I want to go back to normal! I want to spend my days helping (Y/n) with homework and coming home and watching those silly cartoons with my Starlight–”
Your heart was aching and your eyes were getting watery. You waved a hand at your eyes and cleared your throat sticking your hand through the hole to hold his.
“Y-you’ve got to get your ducks in order before you take your Starlight back–”
“But Mom!”
“Don’t but me…Starlight is safe. You’ve got to make sure you are too before you take them back.”
“But the debt I owe…it’s so big and their patience is thin. I don’t know if I’ll be able to come back….”
Taking a deep breath, you went back to your original position on your tummy.
“Papa, I’m always going to be here. Safe and waiting for you. So you can go on your work trip I don’t mind.”
He smiled at that reaching through the gate to affectionately bop you on your nose.
“That’s right…I’m just on a work trip. I’ll be back before you even notice. I’m gone!”
He began to scooch away but you stopped him calling for him to come back to the fence. You kissed his forehead and he kissed yours.
“I’ll….see you when you got back Papa….”
“Yup! You know it! If you need anything just ask your grandma, okay?”
“...Okay…”
Like that, he disappeared.
You were left to stare at the disfigured leaves and dying branches. Burning the memory of his face into your mind.
“(Y/n)! Your brother’s here to pick you up.”
It took you a minute before you stood up again. Frantically wiping at the water streaming from your eyes, you waited until your throat was no longer croaky to finally respond.
“Coming!”
It was all a blur, saying goodbye to your friends and packing your backpack. The memories of the sweet older lady you used to spend so much time with. She taught you how to help your father, explaining the work he was in. It made your head hurt. Thinking about it now, you can say that’s why you stay at the Leech’s house so much.
“Ready to go little elver?”
“Yeah,” you stuck your hands up while he brought you up higher supporting you with his arms. You didn’t want to but you let your gaze fall on the disfigured spot in the bushes behind the playground fence.
Floyd glared at the spot.
“What’s over there, (Y/n)?”
Visualizing him one last time. You’re glad you could say goodbye. Curling your head into his uniform’s collar, you blinked your extra tears away.
“Nothing anymore…let’s go home, please.”
You missed the smile on Floyd’s face, laughing to himself as he made his way to the family car.
“As always, little elvie!”

Hey!
Can you perhaps write a one shot about the Diaz brothers. Some fluff with some smut?
It’s going to be a longer one
Oh and it’s a little bit different than usual so be prepared 🙈 😳
Birthday party
* English is not my first language I apologise
* Triggers: 18+, Smut, Swearing and Fluff
Y/n 23, Nate 25, Nick 27
Y/n POV
It was Nate’s birthday today and his friends organised a party for him. Nate wasn’t super happy about it but played along because he knew they meant it well. “Who are these people?” I question myself as I walked through the Diaz house. His parents went to his aunt house so they could party in here, they are way to kind to them. “Hey y/n.” A random guy said to me as I walked through the house, to find Nate or Nick. “Hi, have you seen Nate or Nick?” He shook his head and smiled. “No but I’m fun too.” I rolled my eyes and walked away. “I promise!” He yells after me but I ignored him.
Nate and Nick were outside in their backyard, smoking some pot. “Hello, there you guys are.” I walked over to Nate and give him a hug. “Hey y/n.” He wrapped his arms around me and placed a small kiss on my forehead. “Happy birthday.” He smiles as I gave him an envelope. “You didn’t have too you know.” I shrugged my shoulders and turned around to greet Nick. “Hey y/n.” He pulled me into his arms and placed also a kiss on my forehead. “Hi Nick.” I wrapped my arms around his waist and held him for a while as the guys started to talk about their upcoming fights.
The night went by and a good friend of ours ordered some food for all of us. “Guys the food is here!” We all went inside to grabbed some food and Nate stayed close to me, his arm hanging over my shoulder. “Let’s get you something to eat.” He says as he grabs a plate for me. “Thank you.” I took the plate and grabbed some food. “Nate, are you joining us for a smoke?” It was that weird guy I met earlier the night. Nate looked down at me. “You can go, I stay here.” I didn’t want to be rude to him, especially not on his birthday party. “You sure? I don’t mind to stay here with you.” I friendly shook my head and playfully pushed him away. “Now go, it’s your birthday today. I stay here and hang out with Nick.” Nick was already sitting on the couch, eating his food. “Okay, I won’t be gone long.”
I was hanging out with Nick, we both eat some food, watching drunk people trashing his house and waiting for Nate. “He’s an asshole.” Nick says quietly. “Who?” He squeezed his hands and looked around. “Nate.” I knew why he was saying that, Nate invited me to come over and hang out but he didn’t know about the party. Nick was a bit disappointed in that. “He doesn’t mean it like that, come on Nick you know that too.” I lay my head against his shoulder and smiled up at him. “I know, I just wish that he could see what I see.” He wrapped his arm around me, holding me close to him as time slowly passed by.
Nate POV
I was outside, hanging out with some guys from the gym. “Are you not jealous of your brother Nate?” I shrugged my shoulders and took a sip from my drink. “Why I should I be jealous of him?” I placed my cup down and looked at the guys. “Well…he is very close to y/n.” I immediately got irritated and stood up. “Man I don’t care, listen they can do whatever they want, we are not together.” They immediately held their hands up in the air, surrendering. “Sorry, didn’t know you would be angry about it.” I shook my head and walked back to the house. “Where are you going?” “Back inside.”
I walked in and saw a few people laying on the ground, other were getting ready to go home. Nick and y/n where laying comfortable on the couch, Nick had his arm loosely wrapped around her shoulder. “Hey.” I sat down next to them. “Hi.” She moves immediately over to me. Nick sits back up and nods at me. “Listen I’m going to bed, I’m having a headache. Take care of her will you.” I nodded and he stood up. “Goodnight Nick.” He smiled at her and placed a kiss on her head. “Goodnight y/n.” With that he walked away from us. “Can I stay the night?” She asks as I took a look around the house. “Sure, you know the way.” She wraps her arms around me and smiles. “I know the way to your brother’s room but I think I want to stay with you tonight.” I smiled and pulled her closer. “Whatever you want baby.”
Y/n POV
Nate and I are not officially together but we had some hookups before and lately I have them with Nick because Nate wasn’t so interested in me anymore or that what I thought. I was following him to his room. “We do have to clean tomorrow morning before my parents are coming home.” He says as he pushes his door open. “I will help you guys tomorrow, don’t worry.” I walked over to his bed and kicked my shoes off. “Here.” He threw a tapout shirt on the bed for me. “Thank you.” I started to stripped my clothes off, feeling a mixture between tiredness and excitement. Knowing he was looking at me right now. As I just pulled the shirt over my head I felt his two hands wrapping around my waist, pulling me into his bare chest. “I missed you.” He whispers softly in my neck as he leaves a few wet kisses behind. A small soft giggle escaped from my lips. “I missed you too.”
He picked me up and carefully placed me on his bed, him standing between my legs. My hands immediately went to his chest, slowly tracing down on his abs. “You always look so good.” He was training hard again for his upcoming fight. He gently pushed me down on the bed and moved on top of me. “I do that for you, baby.” I rolled my eyes at him and moved my hands up to his shoulders. He leaned forward and started to place some wet kisses in my neck. I moved my head to the side to make more room for him. His hand moved down to my pantie and slipped his hand in. “Fuck y/n, already so wet for me.”
I was laying down on my chest, my head into his pillow as he was fucking me from behind. His large hands were roaming over my ass, squeezing and groping my skin. “Fuck…you’re always so good.” Nate was groaning a little bit as we both were getting close. Me on the other hand, I was a moaning mess beneath him. The way he pounds in me, holding me and pushes me down into the mattress, makes me feel like this. “Nate…” I grabbed the blankets as my orgasm started to rise. “Let me hear you baby.” One of his hand moved up to my hair, holding it tightly as he started to move a bit faster.
We both were out of breath and covered in sweat. “Come here.” He pulled me close to him, his arm over my body as I lay against his chest. “Happy birthday.” I said tiredly. His hand started to caresses my arm and he placed a small kiss on the top of my head. “Just let’s get some sleep, tomorrow will be a messy day.” I tiredly nodded and closed my eyes, listening to his heartbeat as I slowly drifted away.
It was early in the morning when I woke up from some noises that were coming from the hallway. Nate was dead asleep so I stood up carefully to take a look in the hallway. I grabbed Nate his shirt and pulled it on before opening his bedroom door. I silently opened his door and took a quick peek. Nothing as it was very dark in the hallway. I wrapped my arms around my body and walked out, closing the door silently behind me. “Hello?” I whispered into the darkness. A figure was standing at the end of the hallway and I got scared. “Who are you?” I whispered again, the figure starts to walk towards me. My heart was racing and I started to slowly to panic. “Stop.” The figure stopped walking and held his hand up. “Y/n it’s me Nick.” Nick whispered. I let out a deep breath and walked over to him. “You scared me.” He immediately wrapped his arms around me. “Sorry.”
I followed him to his room and sat down on his bed. He was moving around his room, already wearing some clothes. “What were you doing?” I lay down and nuzzled my head against his pillow. “Cleaning, mom is going to be pissed if she sees this fucking mess.” His hand went through his hair, looking at me. “I can help you out.” He shook his head and walked over. “No, you stay here.” His hand carefully touched my cheek. “But I want to.” I started to pout at him. “You make me crazy.” He tilted my head and place a kiss on my lips. I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him into the bed, causing him to lay on top of me. “Mama’s….” He whispered as I left some kisses behind in his neck.
I sat naked on his lap, slowly moving my hips. His large rough hands were resting on my hips, holding me steady. “You’re always so beautiful.” He says with a loving smile on his face. I moved my face closer to him and placed a small peck on his lips. His hands started to roam around, gently touching me. I started to leave some kisses around his neck and collarbone, both stimulating each other.
I was getting close but also tired of riding him. My legs started to hurt and Nick felt it. His hands moved back up to my waist and guided me to roll my hips. “Just do it like that baby, it’s a bit better for your legs.” Surprisingly it was better for my legs as the pain was slowly disappearing. “I’m close…” he nods and squeezes gently my waist. “Just let it go mama’s.” His voice was deeper than usual and the way he looked at me, a combination of love and lust dancing around in his eyes. I grabbed his shoulders and started to move a bit faster, feeling that bubble rising up in my stomach. I started to moan out his name and closed my eyes as I came. He was moving his hips as well and came a few seconds after me.
We both lay in bed for a couple of minutes before we decide to get up and clean up the house. He gave me soms clothes for me to wear and I tiptoed behind him down to the living room, not wanting to wake up Nate yet. “I clean up the kitchen, you can started in the living room.” He said as he was grabbing some cleaning supplies. “Good plan, just watch out for that.” I pointed at the counter, some needles were laying around. “Who used that shit…”
After a few hours Nate came downstairs and helped us with the rest. They were both outside, cleaning the backyard. I was staring at them, thinking about what happened last night. I let out a big sign and shook my head. “I’m so fucked up….”

Since you like jo, i need to hear more about your opinion about her
GOD I THOUGHT ID NEVER BE ASKED
Resident Jo guy here ready to talk about her too much
Funny enough I think Jo might be the character I’ve talked about the most on here? Not that anyone asked but I know I’ve done one on her and her dynamic with lightning, multiple jomarias, and whenever AS or roti comes up I always talk about her it’s like there’s some unknown force making me.
But for my jo take for today, I wanna talk about her/heather and the dynamic as well as the parallels between both.
Jo and heather are like one of the only mix gen dynamics, which is crazy. I can only think of like Scottney and like every other interaction between characters are so basic they have the essence of just “hello _____ character from other season!” “Hello _____ character from other season! We’ve now hit our interaction check box meaning this season wasn’t entirely pointless and definitely couldn’t just have been another roti season but everyone complained at the new characters” “huzzah!”
Sorry got sidetracked. Butt Jo and Heather do interact beyond that and I WISH we got more of them
To compare both, both are a “villain” in the series they compete in. And both are a take on a type of “bully”.
Heather is your classic mean girl but better. She’s the Regina George the Heather Chandler thats her trope. Yes there’s more depth to her but for this comparison I just want to talk about her in relation to Jo. Now to contrast Jo is more of the “jock bully” archetype. But once again, better.
Despite there clear differences they actually have more in common than I initially thought. Both take advantage of people they see as “less than them”. Heather with Beth and Lindsay, and Jo with Cameron and Lightning. Lightning and Lindsay clearly have some similarities in they’re both stupid and their manipulator uses this to their advantage, making them think they have an ally/friend but in actuality they are just being used. And Beth and Cameron are similar in the sense that their dynamic with their “bully” is also disguised as a friendship. Beth wants to be in the popular clique and Cameron wants to just survive this, meaning he’s willing to work with Jo despite her clearly being mean rude and horrible to him. Both Jo and Heather use these people to make it far, but ultimately their downfall is due to the people they used all season (jo being betrayed by cam and voted off by cam and lightning and heather having Lindsay being the reason she looses the challenge).
They also both have a very similar dynamic, heather with Gwen and Leshawna and Jo with Zoey and Anne Maria. Yes I know the Gwen/leshawna dynamic is very different to the Anne Maria/zoey dynamic, but when it comes to heather and Jo they’re actually kinda similar. Gwen is typically a little play thing for Heather to torment, with Leshawna always being at her neck standing up for other people and not being afraid to put heather in her place and fight back, and while Jo is rude to everyone Zoey will often not retaliate back, unlike Anne Maria who is, like Leshawna, always at her neck usually standing up for herself and other people (seen with how she defends the likes of cam guys wait till I drop the AM essay I have proof of this) and not being afraid to put Jo in her place and fight back against her rude/pushy/bossy/etc.
Their competitiveness and want to win is also something that both have. While it’s not as evident in heather (more in world tour than any other) they both have a desire to win individual and team challenges, as well as overall too.
Also just remembered in All stars they both make an alliance with an enemy of some kind only for them to immediately try to get them eliminated, both times backfiring with heather getting out instead and lightning being seen as useful later on (stfu no he wouldn’t have been)
The first clear difference between both is Jos internalised misogyny.
GOD I hate when people deny this it’s so obvious to me am I the only one that sees this but yeah anyway Jo makes an off handed comment about heathers “girly short shorts” or something idk I can’t remember I’m not rewatching I’m at college right now
Butt, I think some of Jos hate for Heather comes from some of her internalised misogyny. They would genuinely make for good friends if they weren’t both such haters. But alas Jo sees someone she’s compatible with and would get along with, but said person is a girly teen girl and doesn’t want to allow for a platonic female relationship. She doesn’t want to be friends with someone who is what she hates about herself. She’s not feminine and I don’t think that’s the reason for her internalised misogyny, I don’t think she needs to be “girly” or anything, and I don’t think she’s implied to be trans to me, I see it more as a societal thing where she feels like she “isn’t one of the girls” and better than people who are girly because to her she’s an exception and society tells her that guys are better than girls and her personality/attitude/interests/identity aligns more with the masculine gender (not trans just vibes ykwim) and so she denies all of her feminine traits to be better than everyone else. Dani I need to vent about something. I hope I'm not intruding.
My college just started and while my social life is thriving and it's a lot of fun, there are so many things that are so fucking toxic. There are all these customs and rules that people adhere too when it comes to seniors.
Like we have to call our seniors sir and ma'am and wish them whenever we run into them. And apparently we're not supposed to ask their names directly and we can't look them in the eye.
And like I don't have a problem calling them sir or ma'am or wishing them or showing respect. But they scold you if you forget to do it and are so fucking rude. My friend didn't notice someone and so didn't wish her and so she asked him if he's blind or mute (derogatory). It was such a toxic thing to do and he was incredibly hurt.
This is something a lot of people have been experiencing. They even asked some of the boys to sort of bow when they wish them.
There are a lot of strict Anti Ragging rules in our college but idk if this is something that is covered by it. And these people are treating us like inferiors and are always patronizing us. It's very demeaning.
And also another of my friends didn't come today because he was sick and some seniors asked us to tell him to call them and apologize because they think he made a complaint about them (he didn't). And he's decided to stay home for a couple of days. He told me that it's because he's unwell but I think he's scared.
Also this same friend usually hangs out with girls and talks in a way that people make fun of. And a lot of people have been making derogatory comments about his gender and sexuality. When he expressed an interest to be the leader of Gender Champs (its a club about gender equality and everything else related to gender) this guy asked him 'which gender will you represent?' It's all so so hurtful and weird and toxic. Obviously not everyone is like this. But it's very hurtful when all of this happens.
Sorry if this was all too long. I just needed to get it off my chest. I'm having a great time at college and have made friends that I can really see myself having a great relationship with and there is already so much that I've learnt about it the past week and have so much that I'm looking forward to. I even attended this webinar about modern sex education that talked about a lot of things that I'm very curious about and wanted to learn (I've never had the chance to talk about any of this before with people who're from my own country and environment). And we also have to make this research project that I'm very excited about and have already started preparing for. Overall I'm having the time of my life. But this attitude of some of our seniors has been very off putting and stressful and i hope that it gets better soon and no one gets hurt.
Hey, Yana.
Thank you for telling me this. This is unfortunately way too common in many local universities in South Asia. It is 100% ragging and part of the culture. Despite the anti-ragging rules, this kind of behavior is incredibly normalized and even the lecturers and staff have accepted it as the norm. What surprises me the most is how this toxicity continues year after year and people never seem to learn from it. But I hope it will get better too.
This is not good advice but please do keep your head down and stay away from these people as much as you can. I've never found fighting these 'bullies' to be effective because it's not a behavioral issue but rather a systematic one. Having a group of friends in your uni whom you can talk to about this - and also hang out in groups so you won't be targeted or isolated by these assholes - would be helpful. But please know you are always welcome to come here and talk to me about it.
I'm really glad to hear you're having a great time otherwise and meeting a lot of like-minded people! Yay to sex education and good luck with your research project! 💙

I can go on for days how much teenage boys treat girls they don't find attractive differently but here's my most recent experience
Okay first of all I just want to say the experience varies, some guys are only friends with girls they don't find attractive cus it's easier and they don't have to get nervous around them, these kinda guys r usually alr but sometimes they view u as a man/male friend and it can be very degrading
some guys are only friends with girls they find attractive and it's not necessarily always with the intentions of dating sometimes just for attention or a pretty face to look at imo. These kind of guys are usually not kind to girls they don't find attractive
either way the experience of girl, especially black girl, who's not conventionally attractive is not always a fun one.
Currently, I'm at summer camp and it's been really fun for the most part. Today we were doing some art group work thingy and I went to a group with two guys just to see their stuff. I stood there and asked them if I could see their stuff like 5-6 times and they just ignored me and didn't say anything. Like nothing like "no" or anything. It was until I went ahead to just peek at it anyway, just for one of them to say "you'll see it fully when we win"
that wasn't bad of anything but what really set me off is how they treat me differently compared to the other girls at the camp.
For example one of the guys I approached in particular has been very kind to some other girls, one time he pulled out a chair for one of my friends and even pulled the seat closer to him, some other girls were standing too but he only offered the seat to her and like was really nice to her. Then another time he named his first aid dummy another girl's name and ik this doesn't all sound super romantic, but they were really "bold" advances and some of the girls at camp agreed
I've engaged in conversation with him but I can tell he likes to talk to the other girls better and that whole ignoring thing was just so fucking embarrassing.
Also keep in mind everyone in my class is Asian but me, specifically the class is mostly Chinese. (No hate to Chinese people)
Sorry if it seems like I'm overreacting but I really feel like he wouldn't have acted that way if I was someone else
In the past I've had a lot of personality issues, like I've not always been the kindest person. I'm still not but I'm a lot better than I was back then, a lot of guys hated me back then and I really still think it was cus
1. I'm not conventionally attractive
2. I'm decently smart/high achieving in academics
3. I'm black, loud & opinionated
The attractive thing really plays a part cus the girls at my summer camp people showed interest in are extremely loud and rude. And I'm sorry if that sounds like a pick me thing but gosh there were a lot of moments I hoped they'd calm down and shush a lil bit
they were really nice to me and appreciate that a lot, they just openly talked shit about a lot of people
one girl would loudly talk about how she homewrecked a couple cus she thought the guy was too hot for the girl. The other would talk about she hated ppl who didn't have symmetrical faces and they were still desired by guys (maybe not the second one cus she was not really the standard beauty anyway, but that still proves my point)
so if they are desired when they r bitchy & loud? why can't I????
cus I'm black lol.
My bitchy was a lot different kind of bitchy, like not to justify it but my main issue was being very judgemental and always calling out racism. Ik the calling out racism doesn't sound bad but I just did it all the wrong ways, I'd legit curse people out and report them to teachers.
I was just an angry preteen but I really regret the way I went about justice back then, I've honestly learnt just to accept the racism cus ppl my age especially guys will never change their racist ways and If I fight back everyone's gonna hate me
sometimes I do set boundaries but arguing is not worth it anymore.
Don't forget I was also very judgemental. it's a bad habit of mine but sometimes stupid people really piss me off...
Another thing that contributed to why I was so hated was cus I was a smart black girl in a predominantly Asian school (grd 6&7 yr) I really didn't notice the racism from the Asians for a long time until one of them started being really forward about it and it suddenly made sense why I was excluded and didn't have too many friends when I moved to the school despite the fact I was very extroverted.
There was this one chinese guy in that particular class he questioned why I was so unathletic when I was black and why I was good at math
Cus apparently black people can't be good at math and suck at basketball. There was only really one other student who was openly (there were some undercover nerds imo) dominating academics as much as I was in that class and the guys would often use that against me and claim he was smarter than me
the funny thing is that the guy was really humble and did not care, but his insecure friends weaponized it so much.
I still would orather be in an Asian predominant school than white though. Cus in my grade 7 school and current highschool, white people are the minority but I can confidently tell you they are the most open about their racism cus they can get away with it (most of the teachers in my country r white)
After moving away from that school (the grd 6&7 school) to an even worse school, I made friends with the new kid that came after I left the school.
We were somewhat close online and we'd have friendly academic competition, even though we were in different schools. I apparently found out he had been leaking my grades to the boys at his school, even though he knew they hated me and would do anything to see my academic downfall
and I was just so devastated
anyways, I've gone a lil off topic but it all comes down to the point that things would have been majorly different in any school I've been too, if I was their type.
A lot of my past guy crushes or even just guys I've found attractive, hated/disliked me or just found me plain annoying.
At first I used to entirely blame them and everyone around me. Nowadays, I try to recognize the fault in my own actions and work to fix that. I'm not perfect, sometimes I slip in a few insults to men when they piss me off even the slightest bit.
Then I go ahead and overthink it for a little bit, then heavily regret my actions.
I've done that a few times at camp, like I'm cautious of the way I act and the stuff I say now cus I really don't want another class hating me.
It hurts knowing whatever I do will never be enough and any slight mistake I make will be their final impression of me.
In my current high school, I have a decent amount of male friends but they r the kind that are only friends with girls they are not attracted to. Which like I said is not a bad thing but sometimes really degrading cus I don't think they see me as a woman. Also I think my male friends are mostly there for homework answers but whatever lol.
But it's much preferable than to have so many guys hating on you lol, I don't feel male validation but I also don't want male hate.

FUN FACT OF THE DAY ABT T.S: did you, Raza, guys, my people, know that Taylor Swift is an actual superhero? Cause she saved me
Or well, at least for me is...
For some time now I've been a fan of Taylor Swift or as I usually name her "la wera" (the Blondy) and over the years, because yes, I have been in the fandom for more than a year, I have heard on several occasions the phrase "actually, T.S has a song that explains it", but, (at least me) not so much the phrase "in fact Taylor Swift saved me", so... On this beautiful rainy winter dawn i come to tell you how "Reputation" saved my life...
And yeah, I'm sharing this now cause of the upcoming recording of Reputation and before someone comes to tell me "but how do you know?" Mijin (nickname that we also use in Mexico to refer to Taylor or Swifitie), It's a matter of dates, start doing the math... And probably when the album comes out I'll go into some kind of regression and feel a little unwell...
And well you prob will say: "Why should I care?" (I'm kinda defensive today, r?) And yeash, but this is my blog and if I want to publish a photo of a sausage or my story of surviving my blue period, I'm gonna do it, period. (Sorry for the rudeness, I swear I'm not like that most of the time. [guess so])
Anyway, as Bad Bunny would say, storytime my people.... Or something like that, I'm not a big fan of him....
Well you see, at the same time that Tay was being attacked by the media, fans and basically the "whole world", su servidora (me) wasn't having the best time either, I was in "secundaria", which in USA and Canada is highschool (or to be more specific, 7th-8th grade), so if hormones weren't enough of a problem, add massive hatred, Unrequited crush, two sexual assaults, bulliyng, a fight, a nearly broken ankle, cyber bullying and, as icing on the cake, multiple visits to mental hospitals for various mental and eating disorders 😀👍
Since it was a super dense year (in the bad sense of the word) I'll just give a quick context, but I think the above already makes the point.
Haters gonna hate¿?: private school + people from "high" economic strata + hegemonic white people + (I know this is going to sound like an exaggeration, but I swear it's true) ONLY NON-HEGEMONIC BRUNOWN GIRL= years of bullying - racist attacks - consecutive xenophobes.
And Yep, I'm now aware that I'd have defended myself by hitting, insulting or Go with a professor, but first and foremost, as I said, I was the only girl of colour in my class and one of the few in the school. (was mixed / coeducational, but before that it was male, so it was the most predominant gender), Therefore, hitting or verbally attacking others WAS NOT, NOR IS NOR WILL IT continue to be an option, Secondly, teachers in Mexico suck, not all of them, but most of them, and the ones I had to deal with were, and I went to a Private school, third and last, I was never taught to defend myself, because they (mom, granma, church and the Bible) said that attacking your neighbour (or whoever) was a sin and at that time religion had "some importance in my life", in fact I still find it difficult to defend myself....
Unrequited crush: In short, my crush fell in love with my friend, who knew about my feelings towards him, so with the massive hatred that I already carried, I was considered the "slut" from school, at the age of 14 💀💀💀
Sex assault: The first one was a bet that a WHITE girl made with her friend, it happened in the middle of English class and again I didn't do anything and apparently "nobody noticed" and if they did I don't think they wanted to get involved in a problem with the school - class slut
And the second was when I went to get my physics homework checked, Let's just say that wearing pants doesn't exempt you from being handled like fruit in a market. (It's my trauma, it's my story and I will make whatever jokes I want and Decide)
Bullying: I wasn't pretty, my Reputation was on the floor, they bothered me about my crush, I had some kind of accent, Not much to say about it.
Fight: To date this has been the PENDEJA (DUMB) reason to start a fight... A (ex) friend invited me to the Justin Bieber concert (you can see how old I am and this story is), but within an hour she canceled me for going with another friend (a friend who also bullied me [cancellation that I later found out was due to my bad image and the rumors that circulated about me]), then I don't know how or why but a friend that they both had in common detested me, so with the thing of the concert and my annoyance that my (ex) friend was going out with one of the many girls who bullied me, a group of girls told me that they would "make up" with me on the way out, and that was that.... They took me to the football field (the school was - it's enormous) that was at the other end of the exits and they gave me the beating of my life...
At this point you may be wondering, "but what abt your mom? what's wrong? Didn't she notice the bruises or what?" Look, An advantage - disadvantage of my skin colour is that bruises are hardly visible, so the bumps weren't visible, besides, my mother works, my grandma was her and her only function with me was to pick me up from school, feed me, "take care of me" and see that I did my homework... And my uncle - dad, well.... 🍺🍺🍺
Almost broken ankle: have you ever watched in those typical American series (e.g. Chicken Little) where everyone play dodgeball and end up throwing all the balls at one person, well, I'm the one. So in a game one of the "mean girls" (I'll call it that to shorten the term) threw a ball at my ankle when I was running and well, in those days I used to be prone to tripping.
(oigan nmmn que pinche experiencia tan qlra, ya hasta ando llorando por recordar esto, JAJAJAJAJAJA)
Cyber bullying: bullying, just like the blue sea and sky, is infinite... What I am trying to say is, that high school - puberty should not exist, as well as the access (permission) to social networks, at least during those years...
Hospital visits: okay and now what was arguably one of the hardest knocks I've ever had to go through.... Look guys, my grandma isn't the typical sweet and loving grandmother, I'd say (in my experience) that she's a mix of Ida (Malcolm in the Middle's grandmother) and Grandma from Encantó... However, OF ALL THE ADULTS, SHE WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO REALIZED THAT SOMETHING WAS WRONG WITH ME, cause there came a point where I only slept, I didn't even take off my uniform or do my homework and if I did, I slept the rest of the time until night, the time when my most catholic side came out, because night after night I asked, not PRAY, IMPLORE God (if there's one or exists) to take me, because I couldn't go on, I didn't want to go on, I only wanted to fall asleep and never wake up... What a merciful being he is...
One night I couldn't sleep, apart from the anxiety I had I was also dealing with tooth decay, so, being the brightest person in the county, I took almost a whole box of ibuprofen 500mg and naaaaambre, Until that point I had not felt my heart beat so fast... Not even when I was in love, I went to the nursery, they checked me and well... There, everything was revealed, my cuts, my record of constant visits (as I was just looking for an excuse to leave early) and that I was clearly suffering from an overdose. After that morning I can't remember much of what happened in the next few hours - days....
The case, I ended up hospitalized for a month, When I returned to school I was known as "Hanna Baker", that's right, the one from the series, at this point I only hung out ( eat in the Playtime ) with 3 friends... As for my "multiple hospital visits", I asked my mum to do what she could to let me out to finish the year, as there was NO FU C K I N G WAY I was gonna repeat that grade.... So they (doctor's) "agreed", signing a responsive letter and that, plus two weeks before graduation I went back, returned to school and was again interned....
Now, que porongas (what the heck) does Taylor Swift have to do with all this?? Well you see, I had heard her music before, but I wasn't the graaan fan, but between my interventions and constant outings I heard her music, specifically Rep, cause it was the year she came back and I didn't really know who she was or what she was going through, but hearing the album made me feel connected to her, her lyrics, situation and feelings (once I translated them of course). Later I looked into what was going on with their massive cancellation and well, in that moment of loneliness I felt what I needed, to know that someone understood what I was "going through".
So, if it weren't for Rep, especially my holy, Give me strength in my worst moments, Trinity, "LWYMMD, I did something bad and Don't Blame me", I probably wouldn't be here, telling this or maybe I'd, but I'll still be stuck in that hole of depression.
So in a few possible days - months not only will Reputation be released, but it will also celebrate another year of life... yeah, my "me" from before, of course Was dying slowly and cruelly (literally) in that year, 2017, but one way or another she (I) managed to come back to life.
I might be 20, In legal terms, but, I died and came back to life and currently have been 6 years without being thaaaat bad, absolutely I still take my meds, go (try) to therapy, and have been hospitalized, but (for only god knows What occasion number) no blue period compares and I hope it never compares to what I go through....
And for that strength, courage and support that @taylorswift gave me, thank you so very , very, very, much... I don't think I'll ever be able to thank you for this... This second chance and reinvention

Pee Wee Herman - Tequila
YouTube · Sooner Craig
Apr 13, 2007
youtube
https://www.nytimes.com/2023/07/31/arts/paul-reubens-pee-wee-herman-dead.html
Pee-wee Herman has died today and he was annoying our son up to the last minute almost and he was laying in the hospital bed and so I guess I'm going cuz people are saying goodbye now and he said you got it going on kid it says what. So he started laughing and laughing and slept woke up and he was hungry and he ate and he is very sick he couldn't keep it down and threw up and felt bad and upset and afraid but he died comfortably thinking everybody liked him and a lot of people still like him he was a madman towards the end and was harassing people but he couldn't help it A lot of people came down on him for educating kids and helping them and entertaining them. And a lot of them were clones. He heard that there was this action committee and finding clones fighting the clones and it couldn't believe it was you he wasn't told. But it was our son and they don't usually call that but really it's a good name and Pee-wee Herman is credited with it and it will say on his grave Uncle Paul was not the last one to see him but he did the scene and it was Jason and it was last week roughly and he was not on a Hard knock kicker 5150 he was on a vintage Hard knock kicker 5150 and he was on the one with one motor that her son designed yes and people loved it well it's the one that Randall text Cobb designed our son designed the bobber that sold the most and Randall text car was pissed off so he made it a little more cruiser and people buy more of them and so that's amazing it's really weird if you go the other way it's a barber is that laughing again so here's how it goes our son watch the show and it helped him and it suits them a little bit and that girl watched it with him and he understood that they're a little bit simpler but they still like things that he likes and she wasn't mean to him or anything and it taught him about life a little about with them and he's been trying to hold on to it but nobody's hanging out with him at all and he's all alone and everyone's kind of upset again it's not really the money because it's all coded and they can't handle it and he doesn't want to handle it yet help and they the foreigners have to help with the code and they do. But things are not going well this is an indicator and it's more of it happening in the news and a lot of them just let go because they can't fight anymore and they don't have the resources and or they don't want to use them
Thor Freya
RIP peewee ok
Hera asJen and I'm sorry Trump but you are way too rude and crude and trying to kidnap him and harm him and it's ridiculous all day and night you got to go somewhere else. I watched the program too it's a little bit childish but it was funny and it's humorous as teaching little kids and it was interesting how he's doing it
I'm right here folks no I'm his brother there's a lot of people talking about him and saying things and posting statements about him and this one is not bad and he helps people and the clothes are after him and they named action groups after him which is perfect I really like that I'm sorry my brother is gone I know how he feels now it's a living hell and he's laughing because I'm saying I don't know what it'll be like if they were all captured. I can see what you're saying this guy's everywhere and it's horrible but he feels bad for me and says he's sorry for my loss and PeeWee will always be remembered. A lot of kids are writing me letters asking me if I can be him I sent back to one child I think I'm the vengeful one. I'm on a day later almost does the end of the day he wrote back and said that's good
And I appreciate him saying that. We know boy George was too and you've had a hard life these people are very mean and they're impersonal and gosh darn it it's kind of our fault and Max we did not go there and we can't do it again
Vengeful one
Tonight we ride and that was bright and Frankenstein and he had to change the word Bride of Frankenstein and we're going to ride our Hard knock kicker 5150s and he wants someone to get me eventual one and eventual one and they're volunteers it's called the vengeful one and they're volunteers to get it over we're going to have a ride tonight and we see what he's saying he had made the tire it's saving a lot of lives in Saudi Arabia and it works very well and it's a little bit big but it looks like the motorcycle tire he says it is his and it's the bobber and it's the first one and it was stretched out and he didn't get to drive it but he sat on it and it switched it out and disguise it and I can't believe it but it's true now this is the way that Randall text Cobb did business and we're going to too and the ride is going to be on tonight and at 8:00 p.m. Los Angeles at the usual place guys and you know who I am grandson of trump they were having a hard time and we get the idea

bruh no offense but here’s a reality check— if you’re gonna take a whole MONTH to write ONE chapter then you’ve really gotta pull your socks up because with this rate your stories are going to take a whole fucking year to finish. if you’re gonna take a month- then atleast let the audience know rather then letting them hang on every single week. it’s the professional way. and if you’ve really got exams and stuff going on, then just take a mini hiatus ffs and return back properly once and for all. and i understand your chapters are ridiculously long and shit but then just decrease their length and try to be more consistent??
waiting for your minions to drag me to the depths of hell and back you up now💀
Uh... I’m assuming this person wants to have some fun?? You’re waiting for “my minions” to drag you? Okay, how’s about we give you a reality check, because warning, I’m not going to be nice about this. I advise you participate in this great recreational activity called “touching grass”, I promise it’s good for the soul.
Anywho, I literally have a pinned message that explains I’m on a one month hiatus because of a religious month and I always inform/update my readers whenever I’m going to take a break. No literally, I get annoying af with updating everyone about chapters in progress cause I’m a communicative bitch. A year to finish? You do understand maybe I do only has 2 chapters and an epilogue left?? Once I’m finished school the rate in which I write it will increase. Clearly you’re brand new here because the first 6 chapters of mid were all written in one week’s time. I’m also assuming you’re looking for a fight because coming for the length of my chapters is fucking hilarious. My story, and I choose how I write it.
Idk wtf is going around these days but I’ve been seeing other authors getting rude messages like this and I could care less about what’s said to me, but others?? How about we do this simple ass thing called BE. KIND. If you have an issue with how I release my work, maybe you can write my exams for me? Hand in my final assignments for me? Go to work for me? Maybe you should try drafting mid up yourself? Seriously, please try to write the next chapter of mid for me, would take a load off my fucking shoulders! Let’s call it the 30k+ in a week challenge, go!
Clearly I’m being sarcastic. And usually I’m nice about asks like this but my patience has run thin seeing the amount of negative asks sent to authors and such amazing people on this site. Don’t dictate how I write my story because nobody has a clue what happens behind the scenes, and how hard I work to consistently release high-quality, high-content chapters. Chapter nine was literally written when I had an injured, unusable shoulder (literally wrote with my non-dominant, left arm to release it with my right immobile) and chapter eight was written during a personal loss. Think about what you say, and the creators behind the content. Just because creators don’t voice their hard work and struggles, doesn’t mean they don’t work their ass off to release the content you get to read for free.
#inbox#anon#sorry guys usually I fight rudeness with kindness but not today#I’m tired of the amount of inconsiderate people coming at authors/content creators#tw: drama

Wee woo! I was wondering if you could write a male Yautja with a protective human mate? Even tho humans are WAY weaker.
What if another Yautja was insulting y/n, they doesn’t really care, then y/n’s mates comes out and is about to start shit. Then the rude Yautja insults their mate, before hubby can do anything to protect their honor little y/n knocks the guy tf out. What did we learn? Don’t talk shit about y/n’s mate.
Alien husband be like🧍♂️hold up-
Sorry if that was super specific, it’s been on my mind for a while and I haven’t been able to pleasingly write it for myself T^T
Your writing gives me something to look forward too at the end of a long, exhausting day. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. <3
A Yautja with a very protective human mate
Thank you very much for this request, @looseratinthegarage , I hope I met your expectations! 💖
Warnings: cussing, insults, fighting but nothing too serious
________________________________________
You weren't quite popular amongst your alien shipmates. Not that it was much different from when you lived among humans, but at least they usually had the decency to wait until you left the room to talk shit about you.
Here, yautja would talk about you in plain sight, often looking at you while they did so. And instead of insults being muttered under their breath, they'd sometimes even stop you in your tracks just to let you know how little they valued your existence. They were obviously trying to get under your skin, which is why you tried so hard to just ignore their comments.
If you're being honest, you didn't mind them that much anyways. It was actually kinda refreshing- having people tell you what's on their mind for a change, even if it was negative.
But even then, you had to draw the line somewhere.
Today was Saturday, or at least you thought it was. Dates kind of blurred together since you moved onto the ship, but you still tried to retain some sort of routine. You had made some plans with your mate today since they didn't plan to go on a hunt, and you'd long been waiting to do something romantic for them. Well, as romantic as it can be when your life is reduced to a ship on which most areas you didn't have access to.
Looking yourself up and down in the mirror, you flashed a smile before taking your pocketknife and hiding it somewhere with easy access. It was almost time for your mate to arrive, and you'd intentionally picked an outfit you knew they enjoyed seeing you in.
With a kick in your step, you turned around to leave and made your way to your mate's quarters, only to meet them about halfway there.
"ah, there you are." you said and extended your hand, them gladly taking it, purring audibly as they did so "Are you excited?"
"You always excite me." they purred, grinning as they saw the blood rushing to your cheeks. You coughed, pulling on their arm as you led them to your first destination.
"yeah, yeah. You can tease me later. Right now we've got better things to do."
They tilted their head at you, having no problem keeping up even with you practically running to get where you wanted to go. "Which are?" they questioned.
"Patience." You scolded them, before you two turned a corner and got to one of the more populated areas of the ship. Something they didn't seem too fond of, gripping your hand so tight it almost hurt.
You stroked it reassuringly, looking up at them with a soft smile. They always worried so much about you, especially when around others of their kind. And though you understood why, you didn't want them to worry on your date. You wanted to make them feel good.
"hey, it's alright. C'mon, let me show you what I've planned for us." you took their hand up to your mouth to kiss it, before leading them into one of the rooms, which was filled with hand weapons and a large training area.
You had to hold in your laughter as you saw the question marks appear above their head.
"You...want me to train?" They asked confused. They were training a lot already, did you not think they were doing enough? Were you questioning their strength? They quickly shook that thought away. You had reassured them many times that you felt safe with them.
Then perhaps...
"I see." they hummed, taking one of larger blades and flexing their muscles. "You wish to watch me train, then?"
You laughed at this, gently taking the weapon and putting it back in it's place before taking a smaller one for yourself. You placed it's tip to your mate's chest threateningly, but they didn't as much as flinch as they looked down at you and raised an eyebrow. Cocky bastard... You lovingly cursed them in your mind
"Sort of. I want you to teach me." you say as you put the weapon back in it's place "You always worry so much, I thought this would help you sleep better knowing I could defend myself if the need arises." with delight, you watched as their eyes lit up at this and they moved towards you, obviously liking the idea.
Though before they could give you your first instructions, a loud growl came from behind, interrupting your little moment.
Annoyed, you spun around, meeting with the face of a yautia you've had the displeasure meeting before, but neglected to tell your mate in fear they might start a scene. Though obviously your efforts were now in vain.
"Why are you here?" They growled, not bothering to bend their back to look you in the eye, and instead puffing out their chest and, quite literally, looking down on you. "Do you enjoy taking up others space, ooman? Do you not realize that nobody wants you here?"
You rolled your eyes at their words. Can't you guys come up with something creative for once?
Getting ready to make a snarky remark, you got pushed back by your mate before you could open your mouth. Growling at them and flaring their mandibles, they stood before you, ready to defend your honor. You sighed, there it is. The Scene.
The other Yautja imitated your mate's stance, now directing their uncreative insults at them.
"And you, do you think there's any worth in that ooman you're mating? Or are you that incapable with your own species that you have to resort to... this" they spat, nodding in your direction.
Okay. Maybe a scene wouldn't be too bad right now.
Your mate was just about claw at them, when you stepped in. And before either of them could react you lurched forward to grab at their shoulder, using your leg to trip them and send them flying on their back. With a loud thud, they met with the ground, any attempts to get back at you dying as they saw the knife pressed firmly against their neck.
It was quiet for a few seconds as both of them stared at you in awe. Eventually, your mate stepped forward to place a warm hand on your shoulder. Their tone calm, but the look in their eyes and the loud purring showing just how ecstatic they were with what you just did.
"You're right little one, this does alleviate some of my worry."

Master list
Eddie Munson is the man who can bring a smile to anyone's face. That is anyone except for you. Eddie has done nothing but makes you cry since the day you met. The man who usually is kind to any person he meets, but for some reason he hated you. HE always makes comments on your clothes, your hair, anything he can think of. You've been nothing but nice to Eddie, giving him compliments, giving the boys rides home after the hellfire club meets, and one time, you even offered to do his homework for him. Safe to say, even though he was as mean as he could be to you, you still have a massive crush on him. Maybe it was his hair, the way he dresses, how he doesn't care about anyone's opinions or those big brown doe eyes.
"Hi, Eddie!" Your smile was wide, eyes looking directly at him hoping his attitude towards you was any different than it normally would be. "y/l/n '' He showed no emotion to you, not even looking at you when he spoke. "you should wear different shoes with that outfit, the colors don't match" You were wearing jeans with a pair of converse shoes, how could converses not look good with jeans? "oh, uh.. okay thanks I guess?" you were beginning to be fed up with Eddie, the backhanded compliments. "can you pick the boys up tonight?'' Now he is looking at you, why does he expect you to do things for him when he treats you this way? no matter how much you want to stand up for yourself you can't help but say yes when his big eyes look into yours. "yeah of course" you slap a fake smile on your face to show him that you were okay with the arrangement, even if you really were not okay with it.
________
Hell fire was running late, they usually ran a few minutes late when leaving but today was a lot later than normal. The meeting was supposed to end at 10, but it is now 11. You had school work to finish before the next morning. Sitting in your car for another five minutes, you finally decide to go into the hellfire club and see how long they plan on being.
The hallway was dark, really dark, adding to the creep factor of the hellfire's reputation. You could hear them all laughing and having a good time in general. Knocking quietly, you could hear a few of them go quiet, suddenly the door was ripped open and a furious Eddie was looking back at you. His eyes looked like he was going to kill whomever was interrupting their fun. “H-hi, i was just wondering how long you guys plan on being” you couldn't hold eye contact with him, his eyes drilling holes into you. “You're annoying, you know that right, like, why do you think you can come in here and interrupt our game?” His voice was unwavering and strong, his eyes never leaving your small frame. “Im sorry, i just hav-” No, y/n, you don't get to interrupt MY club”
All the boys had never seen Eddie be so rude to someone, especially someone who didn't deserve it.``Eddie dude, look at the time she's probably been waiting out there for over an hour” Eddie glances at his watch realizing that Dustin was right, you probably had been waiting out there for over an hour. “I can go back to my car, it's fine, take your time. I'm sorry for interrupting you” You're voice is starting to shake, not daring to make eye contact with anyone out of fear of them seeing your state. “y/n I'm sorry for reacting like that” he seemed genuinely sorry like maybe he finally regrets treating you that way. “no no, you were right, I shouldn't have knocked.” you walk away without letting him speak again, opting to finish with the small amount of kindness he had shown you. Dustin and Mike followed you out knowing they had started later than intended and they didn't want to keep you waiting. Eddie said nothing as the two boys walked out of the room after you.
The car ride home was silent, the boys not talking and you not turning on any kind of music. The boys know how you feel about Eddie, but they know that he feels the same way about you. What they don't know is why he treats you the way Jason treats him. You said your goodbyes and made your way back to the trailer park you call your home. You only lived four trailers away from Eddie, but this did not change the way he treated you, and it definitely did not encourage him to make any effort to try and hangout with you.
The next day at school you did everything in your power to try to avoid Eddie as much as possible. You kept your head down when walking from class to class. During lunchtime, you normally sat at the far end of the Hellfire table alongside the group. Today was different, you chose to go sit in the library and work on the homework you've already been assigned today, and with your luck, Jason also chose to be in the library today instead of going to lunch. “Well if it isn't the lady freak, why aren't you with your cult freak?” you cannot seem to catch a break. Between Eddie and Jason school has been hell, nobody allowing you to have a single moment of peace. “I have to catch up on some homework” you follow in your previous footsteps and choose not to meet Jason's eyes, knowing he would be able to see how nervous you were about the situation. “Are you sure you aren't reading up on how to summon the devil?” That was probably the dumbest insult he has ever thrown at you. “You realize how absurd that is right, why would our shitty school library have books on how to summon THE devil, seems like more of a public library thing to me” your sudden confidence did nothing but anger Jason more.” sound to me like you and your group of freaks actually do like that devil worship crap” you knew when he started talking about actually worshiping the devil the conversation was going to take a turn for the worse, sometimes even getting a bit physical. “ no that's not what I said, you should work on your listening” his eyes seem to ignite with anger, and his giant ego not liking how you decided to speak to him. So of course his next course of action was to grab you by the back of your head and slam it against the table. “That should teach you to not worship the devil freak” and with that he finally walked away, leaving you with a bleeding nose and a heavily bruised forehead. Not wanting to be in the same room as Jason, you choose to go to the bathroom and clean yourself up. Not wanting to bring unwanted attention to yourself.
After cleaning yourself up you realize you have another 15 minutes left of the lunch period. Not wanting to go back to the library you go to the only other place you could, the lunch room. Back to the table with Eddie, you would rather see Jason again than Eddie. Upon your arrival at the lunch table, you didn't say anything, no hellos no explanation as to why your face was now bruised and nose slightly crooked. All you did was sit down and put your head down to avoid any conversation or questions.
As you sat there you could hear them talking quietly about your mood, absence, and sudden arrival with injuries. “What do you think happened” Dustin has always been kind to you know how you usually try to avoid any kind of conflict. “She probably fell down the stairs, I'm sure she's fine” the ever so smart guy in the group, Mike, thinks his revelation is the most genius thing he's ever thought. Everyone quickly goes quiet and just looks at him, letting him know that his idea is definitely not the right one. They start trying to come up with some other ideas as to what might have happened when the man who did the damage to you walks up to the table. “y/n, funny seeing you twice in one period. I see you went back to your freak table” You didn't move or acknowledge his presence in any way. “ Buzz off Jason '' Eddie finally speaks, seemingly having been lost in thought since your arrival at the table. “I'm not talking to you freak, I'm talking to the other freak at the table” You still did not move and did not make any eye contact with anybody sitting at the table. Jason, having the biggest power trip of his life, did not like that you were blatantly ignoring him. “Look at me” his voice was serious, and you could tell he meant it. “I said, Look at me” once again, he grabs you by the hair and forces you to look at him, tears filling your eyes as fear fills your body. You know none of the younger boys wouldn't dare stand up to Jason for you, and since Eddie doesn't like you in any way you know he won't do anything to help you either. To your surprise, Jason was pulled off of you. You look up to see Eddie, eyes full of rage and fire, holding Jason by the collar. “You can pick on me all you want, but you do NOT, lay a hand on her” He doesn't look at you, all his attention focused on Jason. “Do you understand?” The question sounded more like a threat than a genuine question. Jason doesn't speak, only nodding his head yes while trying not to look like he was scared out of his mind. After a few seconds, while still holding Jason by the collar, He turns to you. “Did he do that to you?” His voice suddenly filled with concern, and his eyes full of sympathy. You give him the biggest nod yes that you could muster, and with that. Eddie looks back at Jason ``I think you owe the pretty lady an apology yeah?” He was holding onto Jason's shirt so tightly Jason's face started turning red. “I'm- I'm sorry y/n”. You break eye contact as fast as you could, and before you know it, Eddie is pulling his arm back, but before he can follow through with the intended punch, you gently put your hand on his arm.
He gives you a questioning look and all you do is give him a small head shake no. “you're better than him.” your voice comes out small like it always was but this time it was different. Instead of it is just because you were nervous, it was because you were scared. Not scared of Eddie, scared of Jason. He let go of Jason who quickly ran back to his friends. Soon after the lunch bell rang, letting everyone know that it was time to go back to class. You quickly gather all your belongings and leave the lunch room hoping to put this entire day behind you. You go through the last two classes not paying any attention to what the teacher was saying, you couldn't stop thinking about how Eddie played the role of your protector, saving you from any further injuries. You couldn't get the way he looked at you out of your head, instead of his eyes being filled with the usual annoyance, he was concerned for you.
Soon the day ended, finally, you could go home and forget that any of this ever happened. You began the long walk back to your trailer but you didn't get very far until Eddie's signature broken-down van pulled up beside you. You could feel fear swell inside of you again. What was he doing? Was he mad that you caused a scene? When he rolled down the window all he said was “get in.” not daring to anger him you entered the vehicle and kept your head down. Embarrassment and fear leave you silent. When the van finally came to a stop you realized you were not at your trailer, but his. “Why are we here?” your voice once again filled with fear at the lack of an idea as to why Eddie Musnon, the man who despised your presence, brought you to his trailer. “Why do you think so?” you didn't have a response, assuming he just parked the van at his house because you lived so close. You got out of the van and began the much shorter walk to your trailer. “Where ya going sweetheart?” the new nickname throwing you for a loop.``h-home?” His eyes seem soft and caring, “no no no, that won't work. Someone gotta play doctor” You froze and slowly turned back to him and his home, walking inside with him “you don't have to do this, I know you don't really like me, I can fix my nose at home” he doesn't reply and leads you into the bathroom, instructing you to sit on the toilet as he digs through his cabinets pulling out bandages and anything else he thinks will help. “I'm sorry” his normal loud and confident voice is suddenly quiet. “For what?’ not knowing what he is apologizing for. “I've been awful to you, you've been so nice to me, and I do like you. I just, ice had the biggest crush on you since we met. You were one of the only people to not label me before getting to know me and you were nice and shy. But I was horrible to you, and you were still always nice to me. So, I'm sorry” He likes you, and he has a crush on you. “Woah” Really, after all, that all you could say was woah? “Yeah” he gives a dry laugh as he speaks. “I think you're great y/n, I don't know why it took you having a broken nose for me to finally stop being a jerk.” while he's talking he puts stuff on your forehead to make sure the bruise fades and puts a bandaid on the small scratch that is alongside the bruise. “This next part is gonna hurt sweetheart, you can squeeze my leg or something if you need to” you knew what he was about to do, and before you could protest, he quickly popped the bones in your nose back together as you let out a strangled cry. That seems to be what finally makes you break as you start sobbing he pulls you into a tight hug. “You did great, you did such a good job” he looks at you with a small smile, he looks both sad and happy at the same time. “What are you smiling for Munson?” you match his smile with your own, making him get even bigger “oh nothing, I've just got this pretty lady sitting on my toilet” The added statement about the toilet made you laugh, not a chuckle, a laugh. Eddie soon joins your laughter. “I have had a crush on you since we met too” His eyes grew to the size of saucers, his big brown eyes sparkling as they met yours. “Well isn't that a coincidence?” you both smile while looking at each other in contentment, "why were you so mean to me Eds?" his demeanor changed now suddenly filled with sadness and regret. "I didn't want people to know I liked you, I was hoping that if it seemed like I didn't like you the popular kids would leave you alone. I see that my plan did not work, I'm so sorry sweetheart, I promise I will never be mean to you again."
"you do want to hang out here for a while?" he sounded hopeful like he was asking you to be there instead of if you wanted to be there. "yeah id like that" with a smile on both of your faces, you watched T.V. for the rest of the day, cuddled against one another.

You Owe Me
Tagged: @3steff
Request: could you please do a story where the reader is hawk's little sister and is also in a relationship w/ Robby? I think it'd be interesting to see them fighting behind the reader's back (cause if she sees them, She gets mad at both of them).
Word Count: 2k
Warnings: !!!cursing!!!, uhm..I think that’s it?? Also not completely proofread!!!
Characters Involved: Eli/Hawk, Y/N, Robby Keene
Couple Pairing: Robby Keene x Reader
A/N: Hey! I’m so sorry this took a while! I hope you enjoy reading this and thank you so much for the request! 💕💕💕 I really enjoyed writing this one! 🥰 again, I hope you enjoy! ❤️
You and Robby have been together practically the moment you two met. You two had an instant connection with one another.
How did you two meet? Surprisingly, it was when you and your brother, Hawk, had gotten into a fight that lasted about a week. You and him had your quarrels with each other but this time it was serious. This fight was over how rude he was being to his friends when he was going through the whole “badass” phase. He started being a bully towards everyone around him, including you, and you couldn’t handle anymore from him. You had decided to tell him off in front of his friends at school which severely bruised his ego. He has been giving you the silent treatment ever since.
Usually, your arguments lasted about one or two days and then you two were like the bestest of friends again. You and Hawk were close siblings a lot of the time sharing secrets, or helping text crushes, or supporting one another when going through a hard time. You had always protected him when the kids at school were giving him shit about his lip; always being fearless and standing up for him.
That same week a new boy started school, his name was Robby Keene. You being the overachiever that you are, you showed him around school. He was very shy at first; barely speaking a word to you. But you just powered through knowing that the first day of school is hard for everyone.
“This is the library. You can come in here for some peace and quiet or to study,” you say excitedly.
“Okay, sounds– cool,” he barely mustered out.
“Yeah, totally! So what brings you here?” You ask.
“Oh, uh–”
“Oh, I don’t mean to pressure. You don’t have to tell me,” you say awkwardly.
“No! No pressure. Just, it’s a long story,” Robby shrugs his shoulders.
You definitely thought Robby was cute so you decided to make a move because why not, “Well, I have time. Why don’t you message me later if you have any questions?”
Robby smiles, “Oh, okay, sure.”
You give Robby your number and he gives you his and you continue the tour of the school. During the tour you ask Robby out.
“Hey, would you like to hang out later today? If not, that’s totally cool!”
Robby nods his head excitedly, “Sure! Sounds fun.”
You almost do your happy dance but refuse to do so due to your dignity.
That same day you see Hawk catch a glance of you and Robby hanging out at lunch. Robby didn’t necessarily have any friends yet so he kind of latched onto you for the rest of the day. You had caught Hawk staring at you guys and you gave him an angry look. Your eyes narrowed at him and his at you. He nodded his head at Robby silently asking you who he was and you gave him the finger clearly making Hawk mad. You saw him slam his hands down on the table and stand up. You silently curse yourself for the actions you chose to do.
Hawk approaches you and Robby and you look up at him, “What do you want, Eli?”
He leans down and puts both of his hands down on the table, “You know I don’t like to be called that.”
“You think I give a shit?” You smirk.
Hawk sighs, deciding to let it go, “Who’s this?”
You answer, “Robby. Robby Keene. He’s new. First day.”
Hawk says sarcastically, “Well, welcome.”
Robby stands up and says, “Yeah, thanks,” and he walks away. Robby had thought that fleeing away from the situation would help deescalate.
“Great job, Eli! You ran him off,” you slow clap.
“Why do you care? You two dating or some shit?”
You stand up and put your backpack on, “Maybe so.”
Hawk scoffs, “Shit. That’s a lie.”
“No it isn’t! In fact, we are going out tonight as we speak!” You poke your brother’s chest in victory.
“No way, really?” Eli sounded like he was kind of excited for you.
You automatically forget about the argument you two were having before, “Yeah, actually! I’m excited. Even though I dunno what to wear.”
Eli’s voice softens, “Don’t be stupid! I’d go with the purple top you love and your favorite jeans. Total no brainer.”
“Dude, are you actually supporting one of my soon to be boyfriends?”
“Gross, no. But I do like seeing you happy,” your brother gives you a small smile, “Can we be friends, well sibling friends, again? This whole ‘I hate you’ thing was fun for like two days. I miss you, you piece of shit.” Eli chuckles.
You walk over to your brother and give him a quick hug, “Yes. Sibling friends again! By the way I’m ignoring the fact that you called me a nasty nickname, shithead,” you smile.
Hawk gets excited and steps back and you two do your secret handshake.
“So, you need my help this evening? Help you get ready for your date?”
You smile, “Uh, duh dude!”
You finish up the school day and head on home with Hawk.
You immediately start searching through your closet with Eli laying down on your bed like he always did. Eli helped you pick out the outfit which ended up being the jeans and the purple top that he had recommended earlier. You really wanted to impress Robby.
“So where are you two lovebirds going?” Hawk asks.
“I think to the diner and to the arcade, I guess!” You shrug your shoulders.
After you get ready you meet Robby at the diner. He had already gotten you two a table and you felt the butterflies when you saw him.
“Hey, Robby!” You say almost a bit too excitedly.
“Y/N! Hey, oh wow, you look great!” Robby stands up and he extends his arms out for a hug but slowly drops them feeling like a hug was moving too fast and you catch his sense of awkwardness and the redness on his face.
“Hey, it’s fine! I don’t mind hugs,” you try to break the tension from you two.
You and Robby had the best time together; laughing, telling each other about your backstories, and talking about anything that came to mind. You and him were a match made in Heaven and you both instantaneously knew it.
After that evening you and Robby were officially in a relationship and you couldn’t wait to tell Hawk about it. You arrived home that night and not even ten minutes later Hawk walks into your room and you jump back, “Hey! What if I could have been naked?”
“Oh my God, please, don’t make me puke!”
“Shut up, asshole!” You laugh.
Eli starts making fake gagging sounds at you and you lightly push him, chuckling.
You slap Eli on the shoulder, “Excuse you!” you cross your arms and narrow your eyes at him, “And you just have soooo many girls swarming you, huh?”
“Screw off, Y/N! I’m gonna have to tell your boyfriend that he’s dating a bitch,” Eli says to you in a mocking tone. You both laugh at his response. You and him spend the rest of the night talking about your date with Robby.
Next on the agenda was getting Robby and Hawk formally acquainted with each other. You weren’t really sure how it was gonna go down but you had hoped that they got along pretty well. Their first meeting was at school with you introducing them to each other.
“Eli, meet Robby. Robby, meet Eli,” you say excitedly.
Hawk extends his hand out and says, “You can call me Hawk,” you roll your eyes at his statement.
Robby shakes his hand and says, “Robby.”
They give each other a slight stare down and you notice this, “Okay, stop comparing dick sizes already.”
Hawk says, “You two are official?”
Robby looks at you for confirmation and you say, “I’d like to think so.”
Robby smiles at you and says, “Yeah, me too.”
You see Hawk narrowing his eyes at Robby and he says, “Treat her right. Or you’re dead.”
Robby looks back at Hawk and says in a deadpan tone, “Nice line. I’m super scared now.”
They both take a step closer to each other and you step in between them saying, “Okay boys. That’s enough of that. Let’s get to class.”
You three disperse and head to class. You knew your brother would be an ass about this but not that badly. Hopefully, things will calm down between them with time.
Things did calm down between the boys. Robby started coming over the house more and the two even started hanging out together as well. They started bonding over karate and video games; you would join them in playing video games and trying to learn karate moves but all you wanted was for them to get along with each other.
You were happy that things were going well for you and Robby and Eli seemed to be happy as well. But sometimes you didn’t get to see what was going on behind the scenes. The boys were faking a lot their friendship for you.
One time when you got up to go to the kitchen you had caught them whisper yelling at each other about something but you decided to let it go when they dropped as soon as you walked in. You had caught them doing the same bickering with each other a few more times but you had chalked it up to them just being boys. But the last straw was when you caught them actually fighting over their karate dojo’s.
“Your moves fucking suck, dude. I can’t believe my sister is with a loser like you.”
“Oh, shit. You really got me there man. Nice one, I mean truly.”
“Fuck you, Keene. I’m done with your shit.”
Robby rolls his eyes, “Apparently not. You keep annoying the hell out of me.”
Both of the boys get into position and Hawk takes the first swing with Robby dodging. Robby is about to retaliate until you walk outside with a couple of drinks and see things start to unfold.
You quickly walk to them and yell, “What the hell is going on?”
Both of the boys quickly get quiet and look at you with Robby saying, “It’s nothing.”
“That wasn’t nothing!”
Hawk responds, “Sis, seriously. Drop it.”
“Drop it? Are you serious? Why don’t you two drop it, huh? I have caught you both multiple times arguing about the same shit. Why the fuck does it matter?”
Both of the boys just stand there silently.
“Oh, nothing to say now? You two apparently had a lot to say to each other before? What’s so different now?”
“Listen, we’re sorry. Won’t happen again,” Robby apologizes.
“Yeah, I’m sorry. I was being an asshole,” Hawk quietly says.
“You being an asshole? Never,” Robby lays his hand on his chest and you see Hawk clench his fists.
You interrupt the boys and say, “That’s enough. I mean, seriously. Why didn’t you tell me you two didn’t like each other? I wouldn’t have let you two stay around each other for so long.”
“Well, we just–” Robby starts.
“We didn’t want to hurt you,” Hawk finishes.
You start to soften up, “Hey, that’s one thing you have in common.”
You see Robby give you a small smile, “Forgive us?”
You lean back a little, “Hmm, I don’t know yet. You two owe me.”
“Owe you? For what?” Hawk asks.
“For lying to me. On multiple occasions!”
You see both Hawk and Robby roll their eyes at you.
“Alright, what do you want from us?” Robby chuckles.
You stand there debating on the boys' demises. You stood there smirking for a little bit and letting them sweat it for a little while. You already knew that you were gonna make Hawk do all your chores for a week but you weren’t so sure for Robby.
Until you got an idea and that's when you get their attention again, “I’ve got it! I know exactly what I want you guys to do and you two are so not gonna like the plans that I have for you both. Eli, get ready to do double the chores for the week and Robby you are so gonna buy me dinner every night for a week!”
You hear them both groan at you but man, didn’t you love always winning.

yayy you take requests 🥺 I really love your writing it’s one of the best I’ve come across on the internet I swear
was wondering if I can request a poly!marauder where reader is really snappy/irritated before her period and the boys don’t realize why she acts like that cause she’s usually really kind and loving. she may sometimes not even realize she’s being mean/scary?
she could then out of sudden break down crying over something very stupid - maybe because something or someone really annoyed her
and the boys are literally clueless
Hii! I’m so sorry this took so long 😭😭 this has been in my request for awhile but luckily I finished it today! I hope you don’t mind the delay, anyways I hope you enjoy it! Mwah.
P.S: I also included Peter! I hope you don’t mind (since you didn’t specify).
P.S.S: this is also really bad :)
Irritation (poly Marauders)
Reader: female (she/her)
Warning: irritation (described and displayed), swearing, fighting (mention of blood like once), intrusive thoughts, anxiety (displayed in characters, such as biting nails, words, etc), “baby, love, dove,”, mention of sex (not described though), talk of losing appetite and eating, hurt/comfort, comment to add more.
Word count: 3.6k
You woke up irritated, body aching slightly and adjusting to your upcoming period. You pick at your food, tapping your foot angrily as you listen to every chat. A good 1000 students talking was enough to give you a headache... or at least add onto the one you already had. The littlest sounds, like a fork scraping against the plate, sent you into a fit of rage and you snapped at Remus.
"We get it, the book’s good," you say, staring deep into your plate. Remus let his mouth hang open, mid sentence before closing it. The boys gave you a look, James trying to quickly figure out what the problem was. “…uh, something bothering you? No need to snap at Remus,”
“No need to snap at Remus,” you mocked, James eyebrows scrunched as he made a confused expression. Peter, who sat beside you, had his eyes slanted as he tried to figure out what your issue had been. “James wasn’t trying to-“ Peter had started, But you quickly cut him off.
“Peter, why don’t you just mind your business?” You question, you never had been mean to Peter, not as much as you joked around with the others. This banter confused Peter, and he looked away and bit the inside of his cheek.
“Hey now, don’t get bitchy,” Sirius tuned in, James had sucked in a breath as Sirius uttered the phrase. The boys stayed quiet, even Sirius knew he had said something wrong. You dropped your fork to the plate, it clanked loudly. You stood up, grabbed your bag roughly as the chair scraped against the floor from your quick movement.
“_____, love,” Peter began, trying to clear the miscommunication up with what Sirius had said. You waved him off, eyes glaring around at each of them. Remus had begun to shift awkwardly, not liking the tension, while Sirius had tried to stutter out that he didn’t mean it. James was a bit flushed, hating the anger that was now appearing. Peter had lost his appetite.
You pondered what to say, mouth slightly opened to spew out some insult but you felt ridiculous and teared up slightly. The boys just looked at you, not knowing what to say and somehow that made the situation worse.
“Why don’t you just fuck off,” you rushed out, not really knowing who that was directed towards. Before any of them could get a word in, you had walked quickly out of the dining hall.
“Why’d you say that?” Peter was the first to ask, Sirius feeling attacked over his words. “Well she was being bitchy, Peter you need to stop being such a coward and stick up for us once in awhile,”
“Pads,” James called, Peter rolling his eyes. Sirius snapped his head around, looking at each of them. “Well I’m right! She was making Moony feel bad,”
“She wasn’t making me feel bad,” Remus sighed, and Sirius shook his head and began to get a bit angry. “Yes she was, she had no right to start acting the way,”
“I don’t think we need to focus on what she said, we need to know why she acted that way,” James said, rubbing a hand over his chest. “Did she fail a test or something? Did she mention anything that was bothering her?” He pondered to them.
Everyone shook their heads, they all were confused on why you had acted that way. They had completely forgotten about your period. You never acted so vile on your period, you usually just acted the same. Yet they forgot to realise that not every period was going to be the same and emotions were heightened.
“Maybe Snape said something,” Peter thought, and Remus nodded his head. “True, I did hear that they got partnered for a project in herbology,” Remus said, and all of the boys sorta grumbled at the thought of you working with Snape.
“Yeah if I was partnered with him I’d be bitchy,” Sirius said, nodding his head like he understood now. James hit Sirius on the back hard, and Sirius shot him a look. “Stop referring to her as a bitch,” James said, upset. He never liked the degrading words used against you, there were much better words to phrase your reaction.
“Alright alright,” Sirius said in surrender, feeling guilty now for upsetting you further. Remus stayed quiet, he wasn’t upset about you snapping at him, he was upset at the fact that you felt the need to snap at him.
Peter felt wiry, he didn’t like when you were upset. He always felt like he was to blame, especially since you were always so loving. He decided to go check on you, not liking the tears he had seen in your eyes.
“Where are you going?” Remus asked, he knew exactly what Peter was intending to do but he just wanted confirmation. Sirius and James were deep in conversation, planning on pranking Snape to make you feel better (they had confirmed the issue was Snape, before even asking you what was truly wrong).
“I’m gonna go check on her,” Peter said, cleaning his plate as much as he could as he stacked the dirty dishes together. “I’ll come with,” Remus said, sitting up and Peter took Remus's plate and stacked it with his. “We’re going to go check on her,”
Sirius piped up, standing up before Remus sat him back down with a hand to his shoulder. “Not you, not yet,” Remus told him, and Sirius pouted.
Remus and Peter walked out of the dining hall, and Sirius and James conversed about the prank.
“I don’t think it’s Snape,” Peter said, and Remus nodded. “No, me neither,”
“I just can't figure out what it could be,'' Peter sighed, looking down halls and out windows to see if he could spot you. Remus nodded, sighing as well.
They stayed quiet for a bit, Peter more hyper fixed on finding you (Remus felt the same, but was much better at hiding his worry). Peter stopped, looking over at Remus. “You know she didn’t mean it,” Peter told him and Remus nodded.
“I know, I’m not mad at her,” Remus spoke, and Peter nodded like Remus had. “And you know she didn’t mean to snap at you, it’s not your fault she’s irritated,” Remus said, knowing Peter's thoughts.
Peter nodded, though half doubted it as they continued on their look for you.
—
Peter and Remus hadn’t found you, they had arrived late to transfiguration, Professor McGonagall gave them an eye and told them to sit.
“Where is she?” Sirius asked, James listening in as he leaned closer to where Remus and Peter sat in front of them. Next to James, was an empty seat. Sirius sat opposite of the empty seat.
“Couldn’t find her,” Remus said, James grew worried.
“We will look at the map later,” he said, reassuring the group but it was more for reassuring himself. They all nodded, trying to focus on class, yet they kept wondering about the thought of you.
“No I’m worried,” Sirius said after a while, Remus looked behind them as Peter bit at his nails. “Pads it’s alright; she’s fine,” James stated, but Sirius doubted him.
“You don’t know that, what if what I said made her upset!” He whispered, and Remus turned back around and let James handle Sirius.
“She’s not like that, she was clearly irritated before you talked with her, she’s probably just having a bad day,” James tried to make up any safe possible scenario, he didn’t want to think about dreadful things.
“But-“ Sirius said, and Peter whipped around. “Just shut up Sirius, alright? We will find her after class,” he grew irritated and Sirius grumbled and stayed quiet.
—
They had found you quickly with the help of their invention, but you had put up a wall and just shrugged them off.
“Baby, listen if it’s about what I said this morning,” Sirius began, but you continued to look down at your open book. The library was quiet before, and students listened in to hear the drama of the group.
“Can you just go away? I can't read when you’re talking to me,” you said, mouth in a frown. Remus was the first to realize you really did just want space and he decided it was best to let you get over your irritation, but convincing the rest of the boys was the hardest part.
“She just wants to read guys, come on,” Remus said, grabbing Sirius arm to pull him away from hovering over you (which Peter had noticed was pissing you off). James stayed in place, so did Peter.
“She can’t skip class Remus,” James said seriously, looking down at you as you continued to stare at your book, not sparing a glance at them.
“_____,” James warned, reaching out to hold your shoulder gently and you twitched and removed his hand from your shoulder. “You can't skip class love,”
“Fuck off, you never give Peter or Sirius any shit for skipping,” you scoffed, and James began to get a bit irritated with your rude behaviour.
“Yes I do-“ James was quick to defend himself, and you rolled your eyes.
“Can you seriously fuck off? Like what do you not get about me wanting to be alone? That doesn’t mean I want you around,” you snapped at him, turning around and glaring. “All of you need to fuck off,”
They stayed quiet, looking at you again such as how they did this morning. James stepped back, “alright,” he said, walking out of the library as Sirius followed behind with a grumble.
“We will see you at lunch?” Remus asked and you just ignored him. He decided to follow behind Sirius and James.
Peter stayed, weight going between each foot as he swayed back and forth. You looked over at him, an eyebrow raised as you waited for him to leave, he didn’t.
“I want you to leave,” you said, staring at him like he was incompetent. Peter shrunk slightly against your harsh gaze. “I know what you want,” Peter said, “but don’t you care what I want? What we want?”
“I don’t owe you sex,” you scoffed, misinterpreting what he meant. Peter shook his head, “No, you don’t. that’s not what I meant,”
“What could you possibly mean then?” You asked, huffing. Peter sat down beside you and you slid your chair away. Didn't you get that they were worried?
“What’s wrong,” he asked, “how can I make it better?” He felt completely hopeless. You just shrugged, the wall you had blocked them with slowly falling a bit. But then you remembered that they didn’t even know why you were upset, how could they even forget you had a period? The fury built back up again, all they cared about was themselves. It was always Remus's monthly, never yours.
“You can make it better by fucking going away,” you swore, and Peter did just that.
—
Two days went by, without much effort to talk to the boys. They all tried their hardest to catch your attention and make you feel better, yet their proposals were quickly dismissed.
James had got you many gifts, him and Sirius even snuck into Hogsmeade to get you sweets from honey dukes. You took the sweets, but dismissed them entirely.
Remus tried to talk to you about the books you had been reading, but you told him you weren’t interested in talking with him and left.
Sirius got frustrated pretty easily with not being able to hold hands with you and locked you in the broom closet with him. James had found him an hour later, knocked out.
Peter followed you around, you found many flowers left in your dorm. You had received about 10 letters from him, each every morning, before your first class, during lunch, at dinner, and before you went to bed. You had read them, cuddling with your blankets.
On the third day, you wanted attention and affection. Cramps had made you emotional, you just wanted some attention from your boys. But when you had sat by them at the table, hand going to hold Sirius’s, he had pulled it away from you. You frowned, trying again but he pulled it away. You knew something was wrong, even this morning you haven't received a good morning letter from Peter.
“So what, you think you can just come hang out with us and think nothings wrong?” James asked you, they had all grown irritated with your behaviour. You yourself hadn’t really noticed the way you had been treating them.
“What do you mean?” You asked confused, looking between each of them as they laughed. You felt hurt, knowing they were making fun of you. You tried to hold Peter's hand but he was too quick and pulled it away before you could even touch him.
“You wanted to be left alone,” he reminded you. Remus nodded his head, “you even ignored all of our gifts,” James said, and Sirius laughed and made a joke.
“I didn’t want gifts,” you told them, “when have I ever asked for gifts?” You continued, and they became quiet. Had you been rude to them?
You began to think over the last few days, some things you had done were questionable but it was justified. Couldn’t they see you were emotional?
Did they even care? Of course with these thoughts, your brain forgot to realize all the attempts they made, all the worrying they felt, all the times they talked in private and grew concerned for your well-being.
“You kept snapping at us, you can’t just be rude to us for no reason and then expect us to be okay with it, you don’t get cuddles _____,” James told you firmly, but you tilted your head, you began to get angry again.
“So when I don’t ask for something you give it to me, but when I want to hold your fucking hand that's not allowed? Do you even care what I want?” You asked, you realised how unreasonable some of what you were saying was. You had remembered what Peter had said in the library and you grew quiet.
“Nevermind,” you snapped quickly just as they were about to argue with you. You got up, saddened that you couldn’t get the affection you wanted. You left, heading to herbology.
—
The first class, along with the banter from this morning, ruined your whole day. You had to work with Snape, already in a bad mood.
He had been pretty quiet, so had you, only talking to each other about the project and what was necessary. It was all going fine until the end of the class, when he had said something that made you feel terrible.
“You and the Marauders hadn’t been hanging out recently, I guess they came to their senses that you weren’t really worth it,” he began, who knew why he had said it, but it was enough to trigger some deeper emotional rage. You screamed at him in the hallway, completely losing it at him. At some point, both your wands had been drawn and just before something bloody happened, the professor had stopped it. You had been given detention and since you had been the one that had started the duel, Snape got off scot free.
The Marauders had heard about what happened and what made it worse is that they didn’t try to find you. You passed by James and Sirius in the hall, hoping to talk to them and get all of the anger out about what Snape had said. But they just said a simple “we don’t really want to talk to you right now,”
You watched them walk down the hall, they hadn’t wanted to know if you were okay? They were always curious about any drama revolving around Snape.
You had cried in the bathroom, moaning myrtle was the only one who cared enough to ask you what was wrong. You felt pathetic relying your emotions on a ghost that lives in the bathroom, but it was somehow comforting listening to her weep along with you.
Maybe Snape was right, maybe they did come to their senses.
—
After detention, you passed by the Gryffindor portrait. You had debated for several minutes if you wanted to go see them and finally the fat lady decided to just let you in and told you a “Stop weeping outside my door, I have a date soon and you’re going to ruin it, go in go in,”
You had climbed up the steps, you were going to leave once you reached their door, but it was already open with James waiting for you.
“We saw you on the map,” he said once he noticed you were confused. “Oh,” you said, you looked completely drained and James showed a soft remorse that made you crumple.
“Shh it’s okay,” he comforted, bringing you close as you shakily sighed into his chest. Your arms came to wrap around him, lips trembling as you started to cry. “Let’s get out of the hallway,” James told you, leading you into their dorm as he closed the door for privacy. Your face still buried in his chest, weeping uncontrollably as Sirius sat up from his lying position at the sound.
Peter and Remus piped up as well, as Sirius walked over and took you in his arms. He glared at James, thinking he did something.
“What’s wrong baby?” Sirius whispered gently, guiding you over to the bed as he sat you down on James bed. “It hurts,” you say, not giving much context as they all look at you confused, high in alert and they felt guilty for ignoring you in this state.
“What hurts?” Remus asked, Peter and him had come to stand close as James sat down on the other side of you. James pressed the back of his hand to your forehead, “she doesn’t feel warm,” he told them.
“Love what hurts?” Peter repeated, you sniffled and tried to calm down enough to tell them what was wrong. “My period,” you choked, you thought they had realised by now. The boys became aware quickly that that’s what had been making you upset the past few days.
“You’re periods don’t usually make you this emotional,” James questioned and you scoffed but they decided to let it slide.
“They aren’t always the same,” you told them, wiping your eyes as your uterus twisted again. You let out another sob, you didn’t want to go through this alone.
“I’m sorry dove, we should’ve realised sooner,” Remus said, crouching down as he took you in his arms. You curled yourself into him, he picked you up and switched so he was the one sitting down.
“Snape said something,” you sniffled, face resting in Remus's neck as your nose brushed up against his neck. They all became a bit angry, not liking the sound of that.
“What did he say?” James asked, rubbing your back. You took a moment to try and phrase it, it felt embarrassing to admit that his words had worried you. “He said… that the reason you guys were ignoring me was because you came to your senses,”
“Senses to what?” Peter asked, they all had been confused. “That you didn’t like me anymore,” you whimpered the words, tears welling up again. Their hearts stopped for a second, squeezing so tight they all thought they would pass out. James was angry with himself and Snape. James and Sirius felt horrible for ignoring you right after what Snape had said, they didn’t want to prove his statement.
“That fucking bastard,” Sirius fumed, standing up but peter pushed him back down. “She needs us, going off and throwing a few punches won’t do any good,” he whispered and Sirius looked over at James, but James only agreed with Peter. “Not right now,” he mouthed before they pulled their attention back to you.
“We’re so sorry,” Remus coo’s, rocking you gently as you cry into his neck. They all feel pity and a sense of guilt. “So sorry,” you tell them, feeling horrible for snapping.
“You don’t have to apologise,” James assures, rubbing your hair as he pulls it away from your soaked face. “we didn’t know, that’s on us,”
“I didn’t tell you,” you cried, “I was so mean to you, I didn’t mean it. Snape is right,” Sirius fumes at your thoughts.
“Don’t fucking say that bastard is right, he’s a-“ remus shoots Sirius a dangerous look, telling him to shut up before he upsets you more.
“We shouldn’t have just assumed every period is going to be the same, that's on us love,” James said, kissing your temple. “It ain’t right we care for Remus on his monthly and then ignore yours,” James said and Remus shot him to look like he had Sirius.
“It’s okay,” you say, calming down as you rub your face. “It’s not,” Sirius said, kissing your shoulder. Peter cleans up your face, rubbing gently with a warm cloth.
Without saying a word, they had concluded to spoil you. James had filled a heating pad with hot water, Sirius went down to get a potion to soothe your pain, Remus was helping you into a comfy jumper and pyjamas as Peter was getting the junk food.
After everyone got back and situated, you had found yourself between Remus and James, a black dog cuddled between your legs; it’s head over your lap, while a rat was curled under your chin. A heating pad rested on your stomach, junk food around the bed. You sigh happily, resting your head on James' chest while one hand is running through a thick fur coat, your other hand occupied with Remus's. You felt comfortable, all fights dismissed and forgiven, before you fell asleep, James had whispered “you deserve us, we aren’t going anywhere, not even when it gets rough,”.

Sticky Notes - Tom Hiddleston x Reader
It all started on the set of Ragnarok. They hadn’t even started filming yet. Table reads, choreography, costume fittings, set development…The cast, crew, and even Taika started finding little notes.
Some were specifically to certain people…
“Your laugh is contagious. Thank you for making this set so down to earth and inviting.” You slipped that into Taika’s (the director’s) fanny pack when he left it on his director’s chair.
“I know how hard you’ve been working on your fight choreography, and I just wanted to let you know you absolutely killed it today!” You left that stuck to Tessa’s (Valkyrie’s) water bottle.
Some you posted for everyone, like “I know that you all put such amazing effort and time into bringing this movie to life and I just want you all to know that it doesn’t go unnoticed.” That note was posted above a table full of ‘easy to grab’ snacks you laid out such as protein bars, fruit snacks, pretzels, and dried fruit.
This continued well into filming. Everyone had tried to figure out who was leaving these little daily encouragements. It got to the point that Taika started calling you Casper, as in “Casper the Friendly Ghost.” Every day at the start of filming he would say. “Come on guys. Let’s make Casper proud.”
Everyone had a theory. Most thought that it was actually Taika just trying to keep morale up. Taika accused Tom but took it back after some comment about the notes not sounding very British.
Your job on set was to cast extras. While you were present daily, you honestly only had to meet with Taika once or twice a day to make sure the next day’s cast extras were ready. You two fell into an easy rhythm working together and he started asking for your opinion on some other aspects of the set. One late afternoon, after an incredibly chaotic day of filming, Taika decided that he was going to scrap the entire scene and start it over.
He pulled out his phone and sent a text to you, Tom, and Chris. “Today can suck it. I’ve just watched the dailies, and something just isn’t right about that scene. Meet at mine in 30 so we can get ahead of it.” A few seconds later he added, “And for the love of God, someone bring some tequila.”
You laughed at his text, jogging to the trailer you shared with the other casting director. You changed into a pair of shorts and a baggy t-shirt and grabbed your keys and wallet. You jumped in your car so you could make a quick trip to the Starbucks down the street since it appeared it was going to be a long night.
“One Venti iced coffee with milk and 1 sugar, one Grande Americano hot with cream and 2 sugars, one Venti hot latte with vanilla, and one Venti hot water with two earl gray tea bags and four sugars on the side. Can I also get one of the small kid’s milk boxes?” You heard the barista repeat your order back and pulled forward and paid.
When you got to Taika’s trailer, Tom and Chris were already there.
“Oh, bless you” Taika thanked you, taking the Latte from you.
“You’re the best” Chris said, taking the lid off of the Americano so it would cool off a bit.
“Tom, I grabbed you tea.” You handed him the hot water and two tea bags, setting the sugars and milk next to him so he could make it to his liking.
“You’re too kind” Tom graciously took the hot water from you, noting that you grabbed his favorite kind of tea.
In Taika’s trailer there was a table with a bench on each side. Chris and Tom were sat on one side, leaving a space for you to sit next to Taika.
“Anyone grab the tequila?” you laughed, dropping your keys and wallet on Taika’s counter and sitting at the table with your iced coffee.
Taika grabbed the bottle and sat it down in front of you. “You’re already two swigs behind, love.”
“Bullshit” you laughed. “Prove it. Where are the shot glasses?”
“I said swigs, not shots” Taika smirked. “We don’t have shot glasses.”
“Look at how much is missing from that bottle. I just bought it.” Hemsworth backed Taika up.
You looked at Tom, knowing he would be honest with you.
“Hey, you trust Tom more than me?” Taika pretended to be offended.
“Tom always looks out for everybody. I don’t think he’d let me get two shots drunker than you fools.” You teased Taika, poking his side and sticking your tongue out at him.
“Watch” Taika said, putting his arm around your shoulders and looking towards Tom. “How many swigs did we all take?”
Tom laughed, “I’m sorry darling, but he’s telling you the truth.”
“Fine, fine.” You opened the bottle and took three swigs, handing it to Taika. “Catch up, then.”
Tom started thinking about the compliment you had given him as he took his third swig of Tequila. He felt flattered that you felt that way, but it also reminded him of one of the notes he had found stuck to his trailer door.
“Okay, we need to re-block this whole scene. It just did not translate from script to screen…” The four of you worked on a few line changes and mapped out a better way to execute the scene for over two hours.
There was a bit of dialogue that Taika felt was getting lost that he really just didn’t want to let go of. “We may just have to mess with this tomorrow while we’re filming.”
“Or you could have Loki say it instead of Thor.” You suggested.
“Could do.” You could tell that Taika was thinking it over.
“Here you have Thor immediately going into another hard-hitting line” you explained. “If that line comes from Loki, it makes it less likely to get lost.”
“I think that will fix this problem too” Chris started underlining other parts of the dialogue.
“What do you think?” Taika looked at Tom.
“I mean, I personally think Loki has already evolved enough at that point in the script that it suits him quite nicely.” Tom explained in a way only Tom can explain.
“I agree” you said. “You guys make Loki grow quite a bit in this film and as usual, Tom is hitting it out of the park. I’m 100% confident he will have conveyed that message to the audience by this point.”
“Thank you for your vote of confidence.” Again, Tom was flattered. However, he was growing more and more suspicious that you were Casper.
“Always” you replied, smiling at Tom as you finished your coffee.
“Let me type this up and we can table read it.” Taika grabbed the papers and went to the other side of the trailer where his computer was set up.
“While you do that, I’m going to steal your restroom for a moment.” Chris stood, throwing his empty coffee cup away and closing the bathroom door. Chris joined Taika a moment later.
“Y/n?” Tom said, kind of quietly.
“What’s up?” Your elbows were resting on the table with your chin sat on your hands.
“Can I ask you something?” Tom didn’t want to bring it up in front of anyone. He didn’t want the notes to stop, but he had to know.
Tom looked a bit serious, but you didn’t know why. “Of course.”
“Are you…” He stopped, reaching his hand into his back pocket to retrieve his wallet. “Is this you?”
Your eyes went wide as Tom pulled a small stack of pink sticky notes out of his wallet, laying them down next to each other. There must have been 10 of them in total. You were touched that he actually kept them. Sometimes you felt silly leaving them for people not knowing if they appreciated them. You tried to play it off, laughing. “I thought those were from Taika?”
He pointed at one of them, reading it quietly. “I tried the tea you always drink. I don’t think it could ever replace my love of coffee, but I wanted you to know it pairs well with a good book.” He pointed to another note. “I know you paid for everyone to Uber home after our last night out. I just wanted to tell you I appreciate you. Thank you for always looking out for us.” You could feel his eyes on you as he moved his hand to a third note. “I envy your ability to capture a room. You’ve got an amazing knack for making those watching you feel whatever emotion you’re trying to convey.” When Tom’s hand moved to the fourth note, you heard Taika’s printer turn on.
“Put them away” you said, trying to stack them quickly. Chris started walking towards you and you grabbed the small stack you had gathered and put them in your pocket.
Tom put the rest back in his wallet. “What do you think?” he asked Taika about the changes he had made.
“I think tomorrow is going to be a lot fuckin’ better.” He passed the printed copies around after joining the two of you back at the table.
Tom’s line went over great, and the dialogue flowed much more smoothly. All of the other changes made the scene feel more natural. When Taika called it a night, Chris laid down on the couch refusing to go back to his own trailer.
“Can I walk you to yours?” Tom asked as you stepped out of Taika’s trailer.
The two of you walked back to your trailer in comfortable silence, tired and a little drunk. When you got to the door, you turned around and pulled the pink notes out of your pocket.
“Please don’t tell anyone?” You placed the notes in Tom’s hand.
“I didn’t plan on it” he replied, tucking them neatly back into his wallet.
“I feel silly now that someone knows it was me. Why did you keep them?” You had to ask. You assumed, at most, that people read them, smiled, and threw them away.
“Hmm…” Tom laughed humorlessly, his eyes focused on his wallet. “I think you’re doing a lot more than you realize when you leave your ‘silly’ little notes.”
His response caught you off guard. He almost sounded…sad? Serious?
“Y/n, I’ve had to work with actors and crew that have made filming a project miserable. Whether they were rude or critical or just an absolute diva, there is always someone to bring the room down.” He put his wallet away and looked you in the eyes. “I wish you knew how many of us have kept these notes. Taika has them in the glovebox of his car. The catwalk above the set is covered in notes you’ve left the crew. They’re stuck all over the mirrors in the make-up trailer so that the cast sees them first thing in the morning.”
Your eyes went wide. “What?”
Tom put his hands on each of your arms as if to ensure you were paying attention. “An encouraging word or a genuine compliment can change someone’s entire day, y/n. You have no way of knowing what life has dealt any of these people. They could be depressed or stressed out or wishing they hadn’t woken up that morning…and all of a sudden they receive a tiny bit of kindness from someone and it makes it that much easier to get through another day. Maybe even with a smile on their face.”
Tom wore a soft smile and even though you felt a bit overwhelmed, you couldn’t help but smile back. “Thank you for telling me that.” You moved towards him, pulling him into a tight hug.
“Please don’t forget it.” Tom pulled back a bit and pressed a quick kiss to your cheek. “I hope you get a good night’s sleep.”
“You, too.” You watched Tom walk away before slipping into your shared trailer.
Over the next few weeks, Tom had left you multiple green sticky notes with compliments written on them.
“You looked stunning yesterday”
“Thank you for still being a good listener when I go on rants about things you couldn’t care less about”
“Taika was bragging about you to someone on the phone. I just wanted you to know. I know sometimes you hesitate to suggest your ideas, but you shouldn’t.”
“I appreciate how much time you spend making this a better set to work on.”
“You are an incredible friend.”
You’d find at least one note a day and for every note he left you, you’d leave one for him. The two of you got quite a bit closer after he found out about your secret. You’d spend breaks on set together and often times wound up back in Taika’s trailer with him and Chris. You cuddled and flirted and shared more than a few loving glances, but you never went any further. It felt like it was turning into something more, but Tom was such a gentleman you couldn’t tell.
The note you found this morning, however, completely caught you off guard. The filming was almost done and everyone’s time on set was almost over. You had just sat down next to the director’s chair and opened your laptop. There, stuck to the screen, was a green sticky note. “Darling, would you please be mine?”
You looked up at Tom on stage only to find him already looking at you. He lifted his brow and tilted his head, waiting for your response. You couldn’t help but smile as you nodded ‘yes’.
Taika looked between you, noticing the interaction and intentionally teasing you. “Oi, what’s this then?”
Tom turned, trying to hide his grin by talking to Chris. You closed your laptop to hide the sticky note.
“Nah, I saw you two. Don’t pretend like I’m crazy.” Taika was still looking back and forth between you and Tom.
“Maybe you’re still drunk from last night” you teased, putting your laptop in its bag so you could retrieve the note later.
“Oh, sure.” He dropped it, knowing he’d bring it up tonight when you all gathered in his trailer.
The rest of the filming flew by crazy fast. You and Tom had decided that you would go stay with him in New York until the press junkets and interviews started. When the premier rolled around, you two were already publicly dating so you got to escort him down the red carpet. It had been just over a year since the two of you had started dating.
As the credits for the film started rolling, you felt like you were walking down memory lane. So many people go into making movies of this scale and watching all of the names roll by, one by one, really puts that into perspective. You’d met almost all of these people and worked closely with quite a few of them. As the credits came to an end, you saw that Taika had added an extra credit.
The last few “SPECIAL THANKS” credits were in order as listed…
“The filmmakers acknowledge the assistance of the New Zealand Government’s Screen Production Grant”
“The filmmakers would like to acknowledge the Yugambeh and Bundjalung Peoples of Australia”
“The director would like to thank ‘Casper’, Ragnarok’s own personal friendly ghost”
It had been a year since you’d written one of those notes and it caught you off guard. Tom put his arm around your shoulders, pressing a kiss to your temple. “I told you.”
You and Tom mingled amongst your friends at the after party. Taika was flying. He was so happy with how it turned out and grateful for such a positive response. Everyone in the cast was telling stories from filming and catching up with their friends. By the time you two got back to your hotel room, you were blissfully tipsy and exhausted. You slipped out of your dress and threw on a baggy t-shirt before washing your face and getting ready for bed. When you left the bathroom, you saw Tom sitting on the edge of the bed in his pajamas with a soft, warm smile gracing his beautiful face. He was wearing his glasses and his hair was a mess and he could not have been more attractive if he tried.
“How are you feeling?” he asked, pulling you to stand between his legs.
“Pretty good. How about yourself?” you put your arms around his neck and pressed your lips to his.
“I think there’s only one thing that could make me happier in this moment.” He answered.
You thought he was being a bit cheeky, so you replied with, “oh, yeah? I wonder what that could be.”
Tom reached behind him on the bed and pulled out a small box with a worn, green sticky note on top of it. He didn’t say anything, letting you read it. It was the same note he had left stuck to your laptop screen. “Darling, would you please be mine?” Only now the word “forever” was written at the bottom.

Note
Hey dear! I hope that you have a good time! I want to make a request, but please delete it if you don't feel like doing it.
I saved that request in the notes and been waiting for you to open them 😊
For request
First fight with brother (any of your choice) and one of them (I mean MC or that brother) thinks that it's end of relationship (because never had anything serious), but they reconciled in the end. I want some heavy angst with happy ending. MC can be GN if that is OK.
If you don't mind you can do for Mammon, but feel free to choose another one if you don't feel like write for him. Or if that would be better to write as headcanons for all the brothers. That's up to you!
I haven't been doing requests for ages. Please don't hate me if there is something wrong! I've read the rules, and I hope I haven't missed anything.
Anyway, sorry for long ask. And thank you for your writings!
(I forgot to look if you did anything similar, and remembered it at the end of writing that ask. Sorry if you already did something like that!)
Hey babes ❤ I did end up doing HCs for all of them because I thought it would be cooler (or more like I know someone is gonna request separate fics for all of them if I dont and I'm saving myself that trouble lol) I still hope you like it ! ❤ also this got SUPER LONG so its under a cut
Warning: angst -> happy ending-ish
THE BROTHERS in a fight with MC and thinking that they’re over (yikes)
Lucifer:
Everyone always says Lucifer is quick to lose his cool but he’s honestly been nothing but patient with you. He may have hinted at several things he doesn’t condone and he definitely has that ‘look’, you know the disappointed dad look, but he has held back a lot so as to not ruin the beautiful relationship you have with him. Everyone snaps, though, and when he finally did, it was ugly. He did NOT call you names, but oh he didn’t. He went straight for your feelings and pointed out every mistake you ever made for as long as he’s known you. Ouch. In his defense, you weren’t nice either. The argument ended nasty and ‘I hate you’s!’ were definitely thrown around, but none of them were meant, right? Goodness, he doesn’t know. After you left, he threw himself on his bed, literally, and just stared at the ceiling. His anger slowly fled away and he began to feel… guilty. Not necessarily because of the argument itself, but because he delivered some low blows and he knows that. Are you over? Done with him? You haven’t texted or called or talked… you’ve been actively avoiding him and he doesn’t like that, but his pride is such an issue, goodness. He can’t straight up apologize, that dickhead, but he’s sending you flowers and standing in front of your door with a sad face that says it all.
“Forgive me? I made reservations at your favorite’s? We can talk over a nice dinner?”
Mammon:
Mammon is known to get mildly agitated over the silliest things, let’s be real. He’s also quick to revert to the “are you dumb?!” argument, which is never effective. But he loves you and he would do anything for you so even if you do do something that he deems ‘dumb’, he usually bites his tongue. Doesn’t mean that doesn’t get on his nerves, though, and he definitely has a short temper, although people tend to overlook that. You just managed to push his buttons today and he used the “are ya stupid?!” argument, to which you obviously defended yourself, and rightfully so. This ended in a massive screaming match and him saying “Then leave! Ain’t nobody keepin’ ya with me!” He regretted it the minute those words left his mouth and you could see his eyes grow wide in shock at his own words, but that didn’t mean you stayed. “MC!” he tried running after you immediately but you were faster and honestly, who can blame you? He fucked up, and he knows it, and he feels terrible about it. Honestly, he’s crying just at the mere thought of you taking his words seriously and he can’t… he can’t bear to lose you, you know? What’s he gonna do? You’re the light of his life, as pathetic as that may sound to some…. So he won’t let you run away. Homie will hunt you down and beg for forgiveness.
“Please, MC! Forgive me! I’m dumb, not you!!! Don’t leave me…” Don’t leave him. He will continue crying.
Leviathan:
His constant need to put himself down is frankly, quite annoying. To you anyway. But you put up with it and just reassure him that, at least to you, he’s the most amazing demon that ever existed. It’s just facts. But a person only has so much patience, right? You can’t always spend your days trying to lift him up when all he does is dig himself a bigger hole. Who has the emotional time for that? You sure don’t. “Oh my God, Levi! Shut up! I can’t take it anymore!” Followed by “See! You’re just like everyone else! Leaving me!” and then you slamming the door to his room shut. It’s frustrating and understandably so. It makes you feel awful that you can’t even make your own boyfriend feel good about himself and get at least a little bit of self confidence and it’s so, so, so very draining to have to constantly listen to that. At this point, it’s affecting your own mental health and you just… you just can’t…. But Levi can’t lose you because he knows you’re right. He has to work on himself if he wants to keep someone as amazing as you with him and that’s why he’s crawling back to you now.
“Look I… I know you’re right… I’m sorry. I promise I’ll … I’ll try. For you.”
Satan:
For being the Avatar of Wrath, you always admired Satan for his ability to keep cool. He prefers the relaxed and easy going life much more than the type of life people expect him to live, and you respect that. That doesn’t mean his constant need to one up Lucifer, through whatever means necessary, didn’t bother the hell out of you, though. You tried talking to him about it once or twice in a calm manner, but you always got the same answer “Pfft.. it’s Lucifer. Who cares?” And it never sat right with you. Just today he decided to pull a prank on the eldest and you had enough, standing in front of Lucifer and letting the bucket of cursed green slime land on you instead, to everyone’s shock. “What are you doing?!” Now that you’re thoroughly green from head to toe, you were also beyond pissed. “What am I doing?! What are YOU doing?!” But Satan matched your anger tenfold, accusing you of favoring Lucifer over him and oh! “You probably got an affair with him, too!” Which was a stupid thing on his part, but it looked like it the way you defended him. Anger doesn’t even begin to describe the emotion you felt running through you and had it not been for Lucifer, you probably would’ve physically fought Satan for such a dumb accusation. Lucifer took you to get cleaned up and lifted the course, giving you your natural skin and hair color back within a few days and plenty of scrubbing, and Satan felt like shit. You’ve always been there for him and, rationally speaking, he didn’t have a reason to doubt your loyalty to him, but he just can’t help but feel insecure beside Lucifer…. He decides to come apologize anyway, a deep blush on his face and guilt in his eyes
“I’m… sorry for accusing you. It wasn’t my right to speak out of anger and jealousy…”
Asmodeus:
How can anyone fight with the Avatar of Lust? Seriously, the guy is super easy going and he loves pretty much everyone. Not as much as himself, but almost. You on the other hand… you didn’t. Well you didn’t NOT love him or yourself, but you were just… you. You didn’t spend 4+ hours in the bathroom trying to get ready when you knew you were only going to the kitchen down the stairs. Like?? Although you never brought it up to Asmodeus, he constantly bothered you about skincare and what foods to eat and what not to eat, etc… It’s quite annoying, honestly, and at some point you just gave him a passive aggressive “Okay, whatever. Can we move on now?” To which he didn’t take lightly. He was still nice and sweet, trying to convince you that at least one of these things will make your skin glow brighter than a unicorn’s ass but you just had enough. “Can you stop?! You’re indirectly saying I’m ugly without that shit ton of product in my face and a diet that would make me starve before it helped me! If you want a skinny VS angel that barely holds onto their skeleton, get one!” It was more hurt and frustration speaking than anything, but your outburst still shocked him and he was taken aback for a moment. And then you ignored him for a week straight and as someone who thrives off of attention, especially the kind he gets from you, he can’t handle that! So he showed up in your room in sweats and a tshirt and messy hair and no product on his skin.
“You’re right… we’re all naturally beautiful…. Wow that… that really hurts to say MC but can you forgive me?”
Beelzebub:
Oh the sweet, sweet angel. He’s far from innocent and you know that. We all know that. But for this story, I will give him the benefit of the doubt. His reliance on Belphegor is just really… annoying. Belphegor this, Belphegor that. “Belphie used to…” or “Belphie said….” or “one day when Belphie and I….” Like why does everything have to include his twin? It’s so annoying and so rude when your significant other is right here !!! and planning their own future with you, Beel, thanks. It makes you feel less than and like Belphegor will always come before you. It makes you feel like shit, quite frankly, and who is to blame you? “Hey MC did I tell you what Belphie---!” “No! Shut up! I don’t care! It’s always about Belphie! The day you come to me and don’t let that name drip from your tongue is the day Jesus comes back to save me and we both know that will be never! I’m tired of always being stuck with Belphegor! We are not equals!” Granted, you shouldn’t have yelled and Beel was more than confused at your outburst, but you wouldn’t talk to him anymore after that so he left you alone. He thought you may need an hour or two, maybe a day tops, but that day turned into a full week and he even lost his appetite just because he knows you’re angry with him. It’s been a week, does that mean you’re over? His heart aches just at the thought…
“I’m sorry for bringing Belphie up… I don’t want you to feel less than, MC. You mean a lot to me and so does Belphie, but you’re not Belphie and I need to learn that…”
Belphegor:
Honestly it’s a miracle he hasn’t lost his temper at you yet. Well, he partially blames it on his own laziness because if being angry or getting upset didn’t take so much energy out of him, maybe he would’ve snapped by now lol, but he tries really hard not to because he thinks your relationship with him after everything is pretty good, considering yall kiss and snuggle and fuck on a regular basis. But anyway, that’s exactly the issue. Considering everything, you’re still holding *that* against him. It’s never direct either, which makes it worse. It’s always said in a joking manner and something like “haha look it’s just like that one time you killed me” or “Beel’s grabbing that ham like you grabbed my throat” or “I remember seeing jesus for a moment there” and it agitates him. It makes him so angry, and he finally snapped. “I know I fucked up MC! Stop holding it against me! What do you want? A medal of honor? A survivor's certificate? Maybe a pat on the back for developing some sort of Stockholm syndrome that made you come back to your abuser?!” And then he left. And you may have cried both from confusion and your own anger, he isn’t quite sure. It’s just so…. Aggravating. He can’t deal with it. He knows it was a mistake spurted by his own insecurities and survivor’s guilt which ultimately led to his hatred but please, stop holding it against him.. He can’t keep putting up with it from the person he’s grown to love. He’s the one ignoring you and he won’t budge either because he’s a stubborn ass, but maybe if you come up first…
“I’m sorry for yelling at you… I’m just so tired for it being held against me… I love you, and you should know that, and I do feel guilty about what happened.”

I'll Make It Okay for You - Part 1
Pairing: Harvey Specter x Reader
Word count: 3,666
Warnings: Discussion, yelling, some angst, mentions of drugs, and drug abuse.
Summary: What happens when (y/n) (y/l/n), Harvey’s secret crush and a junior partner at his firm, openly defies him in front of everyone?
You can find Part 2 here.
Disclaimer: I don’t own the show Suits, or its characters, also not associated with it in any way or know anyone involved with it.
A/N: So, this is my first Harvey Specter fic and I’m obviously quite unsure about it, lol. This might’ve ended up like one big mess, cause I tried to combine a bunch of Harveys I wanted to see. The perfect recipe for disaster, right? Anyways, I hope it doesn’t suck too bad and, please, feel free to give me feedback, cause I’m also here to learn!!
(y/n) = (your name) (y/l/n) = (your last name) (y/n/n) = (your nickname)
| masterlist |
You’d barely stepped out of the elevator when you were met by your secretary that morning. That couldn’t mean anything good.
“Morning, (y/n/n). You’ve got an emergency meeting with Jessica today. Gonna give you the schedule on the way there.” Lucy stated, leading you on the opposite way to Jessica’s office.
“Oh, I got the memo; company’s under attack again. She wants me on the frontlines this time. Louis is probably running around saying ‘We’re at war, people, war!!!’, or something like that. But why aren’t we headed towards the boss’ office?”
“Apparently, uh, she wants y’all to convey at Harvey’s office.” She said hesitantly, as if afraid of your reaction.
“Are you kidding me? It’s the first hour of the morning and she wants me to go see that smug face of his?” You pouted childishly.
“Smug and hot, you mean.” Lucy corrected you, getting an outraged look from you in response, as she usually would by saying anything positive about Specter.
“Shush,” You said, motioning for her to stop talking, “ one shall not praise Harvey Annoying Specter around me.” You stated full of obstination, but the younger woman just laughed you off and said:
“Well, here we are. I guess I’ll just have to send you an e-mail with your schedule, since, once again, we spent our schedule minutes of the day talking about “the enemy”.” She mocked with gestures and everything this time. That Lucy really was a piece of work, she timed the whole thing perfectly, in a way that you couldn’t even repudiate her insinuations because you were already standing in front of Specter’s office door.
Not long after you had entered and Jessica had officially started the strategy-meeting, though, all eyes in the room turned to you, as your phone started ringing in your back pocket. "Shit! I'm- I'm so sorry, guys, I guess I-"
"Can you please take your job seriously for once in your life, (y/l/n)?" You heard Harvey Pain-In-The-Ass Specter rudely remark, as you tried to swallow your embarrassment.
“Well, like I was trying to say, I’m sorry. Gonna turn it off right now, won’t happen again.” You said, directing your apologetic look to Jessica.
“You should just go ahead and answer it, could be something important.” She calmly told you.
“Especially now that you’ve already interrupted our work.” Specter chipped in again, which just gave you more fuel to answer the goddamn phone.
“Hello, yeah this is her.” You confirmed to the man on the phone, while taking a few steps towards the corner of the room. “What??? Are you sure? Oh my God! O- okay, just tell me which one and I’ll be there as soon as possible! Right, thank you.” Everyone’s eyes were on you, trying to understand what made you look so distressed. Except his, of course.
“Wait a second. Are you leaving right now?” He asked with a mix of annoyance and irritation in his voice.
“Yes, I am. I’m sorry, Jessica, but this is a family emergency. I have to go.”
“Well, I just hope you know that this doesn’t look good for you, (y/n).” She said, voice inexpressive.
“I do and, honestly? I couldn’t care less about that right now.” You firmly told her, while hoping your career wasn’t over by the next morning.
“I hope everything goes well for you and your family, (y/n). If you need anything, and I mean anything, just let me know.” Louis told you with that childish smile of his. Jesus, even in a moment like this, he tried to flirt with you.
“Thank you, Louis. That’s very kind.” You faked a tiny smile.
“Unbelievable.”
“What?” You asked, turning back to face Harvey.
“Your firm is under attack and you’re leaving because of some stupid family crap?” Was he even serious?
“Precisely. And I don’t really care what your thoughts are on it. Our priorities are clearly very different.” Who the hell did he think he was to say anything about your family’s issues?
“Well, that shouldn’t matter because, the minute you walk in here, through those elevators out there, you’re supposed to leave all things personal behind.”
“Oh, right. I’m so sorry that I’m not some heartless lawyer like you, who’s just in it for the petty fights in the name of money-making.” Shit. You needed to get the hell out of there before you said something else to make Specter wanna kick you out himself. So you did. Stormed out like there was no tomorrow, leaving nothing but the very shocked Donna, Jessica, Louis, Mike, and Rachel behind. Oh, yeah, and a very pissed-off Harvey Specter.
Okay, maybe you were a little too harsh, but given the place you needed to go, to do what you needed to do, you didn't care about Harvey, your job, or anything else.
---
It was much later on that same day, around dinner time, that you heard a soft knock on your door. But how could someone be at your door, if the doorman downstairs hadn't announced any visitors? Were you dreaming? Well, the day had been so tiring that that wasn't exactly impossible… Nonetheless, you made your way to the door, whilst holding your very needy three-year-old nephew in your arms. Not that you could blame Henry after the day he’d had.
Since you weren’t expecting anyone, it was reasonable to believe that, whoever it was, was going to be a surprise. But not in a million years would have you ever guessed that Harvey Specter was the one knocking at your door. Especially considering what had happened at the firm earlier. How did he even know your address?
“Hi, (y/l/n). I didn’t know you had a kid.” He stated with a bit of surprise of his own, pointing to the little boy you were carrying.
“No, uh, I don’t have any.” You managed to say, trying to control your shocked expression. “This is my nephew.” You clarified again, a little more at ease this time.
“My name’s Henry. What’s yours?” You heard your nephew ask with his cute child-voice.
“Harvey. It’s, uh, it’s very nice to meet you, Henry.” Harvey told the boy, holding out his hand for him to shake, as a sweet smile came to his lips.
“Is he your friend, auntie (y/n/n)?” Henry asked you hesitantly, before making a move. The Don’t Talk to Strangers Rule must’ve kicked in his mind.
Before answering him, you hesitated a little bit yourself, though. Was Harvey your friend? Obviously not, but if he came to your apartment in the middle of the night like this, it was probably because of something important. Work-related, of course. Which meant you’d have to let him in, so you settled for what would be the easiest classification for a three-year-old.
“Yeah, bud, he is my friend from work.” Hearing that, something in Specter’s eyes changed, you didn’t really know what, though.
“Well, then, can he come play with us?” He gave you such a cute look, that you almost said yes right on cue. But you obviously couldn’t.
“You’d have to ask him, but I’m sure he has a lot of other, more important, things to do now.” You tried to explain to the little boy, giving Harvey a look. But you didn’t get too far, as the lawyer quickly said:
“Of course I wanna go play with you! That is if your auntie’s okay with that…” Now he was mocking you, that was the only explanation.
“Can we play with him, then, auntie (y/n/n)? Please, please, please?” God, what horrible thing could’ve you possibly done to deserve this particular punishment?
“Um, I guess... If he really has nothing better to do-” Harvey didn’t even let you finish your sentence.
“I really don’t.” He said, shooting you and Henry a bright smile that you’d never seen before.
“Okay, then, come in. Please disregard the mess, I got this stuff to make dinner, but someone just won’t detach, right, mister?” You asked your nephew with fake annoyance in your voice, as you tickled his sides a little bit. He just laughed at you. Though what really caught your attention was the fact that Harvey, too, was chuckling lightly at the scene, as he started picking up your groceries’ bags from the floor. “What are you doing?”
“Helping you, what else?” You gave him a weird look because, well, it was a weird situation. Maybe he noticed your discomfort because he added: “You look tired, so I’ll help you by making dinner and putting the rest of these away.”
“You’re kidding, right?” There was no way in hell that the All-Mighty Harvey Specter was gonna get domestic for you, of all people. Since he didn’t bother to answer, you went on: “First of all, what was it that you really came here to do, hum? And, second, I don’t need your help with anything.” Normally you tried to be kind to everyone, but, then again, Specter wasn’t exactly your normal kind of guy.
“Well, first of all,” he started in a tone of mockery, “that was rude! Look at the example you’re setting for little Henry!” Oh God, as much as you hated to admit it, he was kinda right, because you had completely forgotten about the little boy still cradled in your arms. “Second, we can talk about the reason why I came here later,” after your nephew’s asleep, was implicit in his speech, “third, it looks like you do need some help. And, for your luck, I happen to be a very good cook when I want to.”
“But-” You could barely begin your sentence, as Harvey sharply cut you off:
“You see, buddy,” he started, motioning to Henry this time, “the quicker we get your auntie on board with the game plan, the quicker we’ll get to eat and go play together!” Son of a bitch! Using a child to get to you…
“Can we please, auntie? Please?” How could you not crack after that pleading?
“Fine, but I swear I’ll make you pay if we wake up with food poisoning tomorrow, Specter.” You told him playfully, trying to lighten the mood after all of your bluntness.
“Oh, trust me, (y/l/n), you won’t. This will be the best meal you and the young man here will ever have in your entire lives.” He said cockily, but without the usual arrogance level, if that even makes sense.
A few hours and a really great dinner later, you and Henry couldn’t help but snicker shamelessly at Harvey’s ridiculous faces, as the three of you played a game on your living room’s floor. Trying to catch your breath from your giggles, you glanced up at the clock and realized that it was way too late for your nephew to be out of bed like that. So you broke up the game, announcing:
“It’s bedtime for you, Mr. Henry.” You watched the faces of the pair turn into ones of pure disappointment, as they prepared to pout.
“Just a little longer, auntie (y/n/n)! please!” The little boy started.
“Yeah, auntie, just a little longer! Please?” This time it was the grown man, one of the toughest Wall Street lawyers.
“As moved as I am by your synchrony, guys, the answer is a big no. C’mon, bud, let’s go brush your teeth. And then straight to bed. So say bye to Harvey, and thank him for being so nice to us tonight.” He looked between you and Specter as if still hoping for a hail Mary of some sort.
“Bye, Harvey.” He sounded so sad, but then he smiled brightly again, as he repeated what you’d told him to say word by word: “And thank you for being so nice to us tonight.” Hearing that, both you and Harvey chuckled lightly at the young boy, who quickly added: “Will you come see us tomorrow too?”
“Uh, we’ll, uh, we’ll see about that, okay, little man?” He tried to let Henry down slowly but, watching the boy’s expression become a sad one instantly, he added: “It’s just because both your auntie and I have a lot of work ahead of us tomorrow, but I’ll do my best, okay?” That was definitely a side of Harvey you’d never seen before, he had even bent down to be on your nephew’s level.
“Okay.” Henry said quietly, seeming to be a little happier, too.
“Okay, then let’s just go upstairs already.” You took the boy’s hand to guide him towards the spare bedroom’s bathroom, all the while shooting Specter a look that told him to wait for you a little longer.
“I’ll wait for you down here.” He said, proving he understood what your eyes tried to transmit.
So you headed upstairs with your nephew and, after a good fifteen minutes of brushing Henry’s teeth, helping him into his PJs, and tucking him in, you finally managed to come back to the living room, where you found Harvey looking through some of your photos displayed on the sideboard. For a minute or two, you just watched him. It wasn’t that you liked what you saw or anything. It wasn’t. It was more like postponing the weird conversation you two were bound to have, because, after all that had happened in those few hours, the atmosphere was, at very least, a strange one. But, almost as if he’d felt your gaze on his back, the lawyer in him was switched on, and he interrupted your thoughts by saying:
“Ah, you’re back. Good, because we need to talk.” You just motioned for him to follow you into your home office. But both you and Harvey looked so informal to be in that kind of environment, that you just indicated the small couch on the wall opposite to your desk for you to take your seats in.
“So, uh, before you even say anything, I wanna thank you for being so kind tonight,” a small smile came to your lips, as you remembered, not only the evening but how your nephew had used almost those exact same words, already imitating you, a little earlier. Specter smiled too, you noticed. “and I also wanna apologize. If you came here to talk to me… I must’ve made you waste a lot of time, huh?” You tried with a half-smile this time, as embarrassment started taking over you.
“What? No, of course not! I'm pretty sure that I told you I didn't have anything better to do, didn't I?" He calmly asked with a smile.
"Yeah, but I'm not buying it. You're Harvey Specter, isn't that what you're always saying? And Harvey Specter always has something better to do, isn't that right?" You shot back in a mockery tone, regaining your confidence.
"Well, maybe. But, not today. So don't apologize, and don't thank me. I'm the one who should be thanking you, I had a really good time tonight." Okay, now you were shocked. He had a good time?
"Uh, okay, um, so... What was so urgent that you had to come here in the middle of the night?" You nervously ranted, while tugging your hair behind your ears. He just stared at you, so much so that you almost repeated your question.
"Um, yeah, about this morning… That's why I came here…" You were already guessing that that would come up eventually, but it was the topic of your conversation? "I know that you and I always had our differences, and maybe even some rivalry-"
"Some rivalry? Dude, I'm just a junior partner, and ever since I started on that firm you've been persecuting me-"
"I wouldn't say persecuting…"
"Oh, you wouldn't?"
"Not since you made junior partner anyways. Now it's just a healthy rivalry between work friends…" He tried to use what you’d told your nephew earlier.
"Oh, so you do admit you were persecuting me when I was an associate, huh?"
"Shit." He muttered quietly, as you watched him with a victory smile on your lips. "You know what? Hell yeah, I did persecute you when you were an associate." Hearing that blunt admission of guilt, you just couldn't find anything to say. “You wanna know why? I did that because, from the first time I saw you doing your job, I saw this very thing that I see now: you kicking ass, you think I wanted to admit this to you? I’ll answer it myself: no, I didn’t. The only reason why it happened is that you led me to it.” He blurted out, completely knocking you off your socks.
“So, um, you treated, you treat me like shit because, um, because I’m good?” You asked, still unsure of what to think about his confession.
“Well, that was part of it, sure. So, you see, I could understand it when you weren’t particularly thrilled at the perspective of working with me. But, this morning, you said that I’m a heartless guy who only cares about money… Is that really what you think of me?” This time he sounded genuinely sad? When Harvey said that he’d come to your apartment to talk about that morning, you thought he was gonna reprimand the shit out of you for disrespecting him ⎯ your sort of boss, a senior partner ⎯, but, apparently, he was asking about it on a more personal level. A level you’d never really thought played a part in your relationship with him.
“Oh, Harvey…”
“Be honest, please. I don’t want your pity. You don’t even know me all that well, so don’t try to minimize anything. I can take it.”
“That’s not what I was gonna do. And, trust me, you’re probably the last person in the world I’d pity.” You told him with a sly smile. “You’re right. I don’t know you all that well. Or, at least, I didn’t this morning. But I do know that you’re not heartless. Also, I was really out of line then, I’ve seen you fighting tooth and nail for a lot more than just money in that firm. You’re loyal to your firm and friends like no one else and, tonight, I watched you sitting on the floor and playing with a little boy. And, trust me, that meant more to him than you’d ever know, especially after today… Anyways, what I’m really trying to say is that I was so damn wrong and that I’m sorry. I’d gotten some pretty nerve-racking news beforehand, not that that’s an excuse but...” You told him, meaning every word and trying hard to show how much you regretted your previous actions.
“Wait, what news?”
“Ah, it’s nothing for you to worry about, really.” You tried to brush him off.
“Oh, c’mon! You said all those nice things about me, but when it comes to your life and your problems you still don’t trust me, isn’t that right?” His tone was sharply inexpressive, but his eyes showed he was actually hurt.
“What are you talking about? Oh my God, Harvey! I’ve relied on you for a number of cases that I really cared about! I let you in on my apartment! I let you spend an entire night around my nephew! Of course, I trust you!”
“Then what the hell is the problem? You think I’m not gonna give a damn about your family issues? Is that it? Because I am literally begging you to tell me about them!”
“I don’t wanna tell you because I don’t want you, or anyone else on the firm, to think that I’m some pathetic little girl who uses her family issues as an excuse to get out of a tough fight.” You confessed in a lower tone, slightly embarrassed, just hoping he would understand and stop poking. “Things are very different when you’re a woman, you know…”
“I would never think that about you. Family is important. Especially if it’s made of people like Henry…” He said, reassuring you, even though there was a hint of sadness in his voice. “Besides, you said you trust me, so you need to trust me when I say that I wouldn’t betray you by telling people about your problems. I’m not here as your boss, (y/n). I just wanna help you.” He sounded so sincere and, if you were being honest with yourself, you kinda really needed to vent.
“Okay, um, where to start? I have two sisters: Henry’s mother, Kat, and a fifteen-year-old, Lisa. I’m the older one of all three of us. Lisa’s sick, like very sick, so my parents, who are both retired, are with her at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, to try and get her better. In the meantime, Kat was supposed to go to college, as well as care for her son, between my parents and me, she wouldn’t even need to provide for them or anything. But, a while ago, she overdosed for the first time. That’s when we found out about her addiction. We’ve already tried a million different things but nothing works. So, my parents and I threatened to make her lose her parental rights over Henry, hoping that it’d be a wake-up call for her, but it backfired. She just took the boy and disappeared, then today I get that call, from the police department, saying that she was in custody for drug distribution and endangering the well-fare of a minor. They asked me to go pick my nephew and, maybe, get Kat a lawyer.” And, just like that, you’d told Harvey Specter, of all people, everything. Tears rolling down your cheeks and him pulling you into a hug.
If anyone had told you that that was how your night was gonna go, you would have definitely laughed them out of the room. But now, just sitting there, being held and caressed by Harvey, as you let your armor down, it was finally beginning to look like things were gonna be okay.
