ok so i made a liiiiittle doodle for all combination (expect narilamb and pupigoat but is fine) so :

lambgoat : they do a lot of stuff together but their favourite is cuddling and comforting each others

kiranari likes to get stupid drunk together :)

kiranlamb likes to read and write down sermons together (cuddles are a plus)

Of course besides this they do much more and kiss and smooches

Sometimes they all go crusading, even if Kiki doesn't like it much... But they also go fishing, camping, exploring...

Is hard to decide one thing they would do all together so I just made them take care of the kids

I wonder if Christen gave that answer about the World Cup because it’s what everyone expects her to say or if it’s because she is actually okay with risking her recovery like that. For someone that’s had an ACL tear with multiple setbacks and 3 surgeries at 34 years old, I just don’t get it. She’s waited her entire life to play in LA. I don’t understand risking it for the World Cup. I get that the World Cup is basically Mount Everest for professional athletes, but she doesn’t have much time left in her career and she’s really rolling the dice with Angel City by doing this. If she really wants to play on the National Team one last time, maybe she should make Paris 2024 her goal instead. I think this year is too much too soon for her.

I think she may have said it to keep the media off her back. Last thing anyone needs is a "CHRISTEN PRESS RULED OUT FOR THE WORLD CUP" media circus.

But yeah, even if she did want to risk it Vlatko shouldn't let her. You simply cannot let players make these kinds of decisions and go along with them as a coach.

You think Dale remembers Timmy? Also, does Timmy call Dale out for his neglect of Dev? I feel like after living with his parents neglect for so long, he wouldn't tolerate that bs

I like to think that he did! Though when it comes to Timmy calling him out for being a terrible father, I can think of four possible possibilities from worst to best outcome:

1) Dale straight up doesn't care as he sees Dev just as an "asset" to him and absolutely doesn't see anything wrong with that. ( I can see this outcome especially if the Dev clone theory is true ) That or he would always change the subject every time Timmy tries to bring out that problem.

2) Dale would tell Timmy that he didn't actually neglect Dev and did spend his time with him when he's less busy ( which is a lie and Timmy can obviously see that ) He probably would come up with more excuses like he already gives his son devices that give him everything he wants, which should be enough to take care of him for Dale.

Though I also can imagine him asking Timmy if he can take care of Dev while he's doing his own thing, which I guess is better than Dale asking Timmy if he wants Dale to hire a human babysitter for his son instead since the Au Pairs isn't good enough to provide care for Dev apparently.

3) Dale took Timmy's words about him being neglectful to his son and promised Timmy that he would try to fix that and be a better father......as long as Timmy is around them.

This causes Dale's relationship with Dev to be rather shallow than genuine, as clearly he's only doing this because of Timmy. Perhaps it would take a while until Dev realizes that as well and breaks his heart further.

4) Dale took Timmy's words to heart and ACTUALLY becomes a better father to Dev holyshit (delusional)

Either way, I can see Timmy being rightfully frustrated with how Dale treats his own son but can't really do much about it due to some reasons, like maybe it could jeopardize his career or maybe he couldn't see a positive outcome for that. He probably would bring Dev out with him sometimes when he could, and try to give him a childhood he couldn't have with his own dad.

How do you think Les would act toward Floyd older? After the third movie, I mean.

Calmer, and stable Floyd, who I'm guessing actually got some help in the village. Maybe Floyd got help by talking things out there with someone, like therapy-ish. Or, just his brothers helping him through it all, because that's probably what he needed.

Seeing him happier than when he last saw him.

And, his new hair! I mean, him learning of everything that happened.

Would they get together again, or rekindle whatever reasonship (staying just friends?)

Ohh my story has gone through so many changes and updates that I haven't really talked about on here so it's hard to answer this ask straightforwardly now. 😅

I have caved and decided Les and Floyd still end up together so... 🙈

Here's an updated version of this old post:

The timeline right now is more or less the same with them having a nasty breakup when Floyd is 22. The cause for it is that until that point Floyd only has hypomanic episodes which raise some eyebrows but they aren't that concerning to anyone, not with the kind of lifestyle they are having anyway. But at the time of the breakup he suffers from full-blown mania with psychosis for the first time which hurts both him as well as Les and the other bandmates.

Then there's the 2 year period where they are apart and Floyd falls hard into substance abuse and bad habits. Then Les bumps into him at a party and gets them to talk outside. It's clear to both that they feel incredibly sorry about what happened when they broke up. Floyd quickly after coming down from his mania realized that what he believed was going was all a delusion his brain convinced him of. And Les feels responsible for the addicted and mentally unwell state Floyd has ended up in.

There's still love there but so much hurt and the trust they had is damaged to the point they're unsure if it's fixable. Neither of them knows how to even address what went down in those days leading up to the breakup.

Les decides to help Floyd get back on his feet but he doesn't want him near the band anymore. He's convinced that the band isn't good for him anyway. He finds him a place to stay and a job in a remote town where not much goes on so he has a chance to sober up. The band at this point is still trying to make it work by doing gigs, so Les visits him little by little in between to check on him during this time period.

They go back to being friends gradually and Floyd shows interest in getting back together romantically from early on while Les has trust issues he can't get past. Les is very reserved and non-confrontational when it comes to addressing his hurt so he doesn't bring it up. Floyd is usually the one who would make those conversations happen, but Floyd at this point isn't aware that he has bipolar and doesn't understand what happened (is happening) to him, and he is very uncomfortable addressing it too.

But eventually they can no longer tiptoe around the topic of their breakup. Les wants to know what happened and why Floyd accused him of the things he did - which to Les it felt like Floyd took everything Les had confided in him regarding his childhood abuse and throwing it back in his face. Floyd feels awful because the only explanation he has is that at the time he really thought they were true. He tells him that he knows they aren't true but that something was really really wrong with him. He tries to explain what he was going through the best he can and he also tells him that whenever he tried to address it back then he was accused of constantly getting high on worms behind their backs which is what caused his paranoia to spiral.

The conversation doesn't answer everything but it makes it clear to both that neither of them wanted to hurt the other person, especially not intentionally. Which is what allows them to make the step into getting back together.

But not long after this Floyd suffers another strong manic episode and messes up at his job and books it out of that town. Once Les finds him and sees him in that hyper and erratic state again but now with more understanding, he tries his hardest to bring it down and help, and he finally firmly tells him that he needs to get professional help. Floyd doesn't like the idea of going to therapy so he says he'll go only if Les goes too to work out his own trauma. Around this point it's also when the band officially breaks up (they just couldn't ever recover after losing Floyd and Liv) so Les has no excuses to give why he can't go and he eventually agrees.

Floyd finally gets his bipolar diagnosis (yay!) and gets "meds" for it, and this revelation also helps both of them to really put the breakup incident behind them.

After this point they're more or less together. I say "more or less" because they're not in a conventional relationship and they're not following the classic rules of being a couple. They know each other inside out and are both deeply and unconditionally in love with each other but whatever they have looks more like casual dating that's been going on for more than a decade. Sometimes they live together like an old married couple and sometimes they don't and they keep in touch through letters and scheduled calls in phone booths.

One day during their "apart time" Floyd stops answering those scheduled calls and Les gets worried and sets out to look for him, which turns into a desperate months-long search while tensions in the country are high, non Rock Trolls are getting arrested and disappearing left and right, and the Rock Kingdom is secretly planning their invasion of the other kingdoms.

hey! so the intro for this is weird but pls hear me out

yesterday night while walking home from a bar with friends, a group of men probably about my age (early-mid 20s) in a large truck started shouting queer slurs at us then threatened to kill me 😬

my nerves are still a little frazzled but my stupid brain is currently attempting to manage these anxieties about what happened by going “hmm I wonder how the batkids would have responded if they saw that happen”

so I was just wondering if you had any kinda headcanons or anything about how any of the batkids would handle a scenario like this :) I know this is kinda heavy haha so pls don’t feel like you gotta respond to this but I really like your writings and thought it was worth a shot to reach out and ask :) thank you!

(also, my friends and I did make a report and we’re currently talking with the civil rights division of our local gov’t about handling this case as a hate crime so we are in the midst of handling it)

oh my god, i am so sorry this happened to you. i am glad you put charges and dealing with the situation, though. be careful, and i hope you are recovering well.

Bruce, i feel like, would try to charm his way out of this at first since he doesn't need additional interent drama. maybe he will try to smile politely and go along lines like, "oh, is that supposed to be offensive?" but if the situation escalates, he will not be afraid just to fight them off. who would blame him, anyway?

i have a feeling that Dick doesn't like fighting on the streets as well, and he usually tries to escalate the fight, only ever using it as the last resort. i also think that if someone picks up on him at night, he just decides to creep out everyone by using his amazing gymnastics. like, imagine him just turning his head around like an owl, cracking bones like in horror and pretending to be a spider — men will run away in the instant. without a fight. that's effective.

Cassandra is not a one to deal with bullshit like this. she doesn't acknowledge these people at all, but if they start to actively catch her attention and cause a fight, she will first offer the scariest death stare to ever exist. people mostly scram afterwards, but if someone didn't, she will nonchalantly break the bones of their arm. as a threat.

you see, Jason probably is not getting annoyed by people like this. who would pick up on a fucking double-fridge, right? i think he mostly spawns behind his siblings' backs when someone picks up on them and terrifies tf out of others. but if someone did risk their lives, i think Jason would either just point a gun silently (if he is in a bad mood) or start roast these people so much, they would leave.

oh, Tim. Tim is gracious about it. someone starts haunting him on the streets, so he wordlessly records a video, and while that person still screams at him, he calls his lawyer. they will get charged and outed in the news for this faster than they will finish their attempts to terrify Tim.

Steph starts shouting back. she is so loud about it that people usually start gathering around them, and she starts making him join the conversation, too. "just look at this weirdo, huh! hey, hey, you, look at him and tell me — isn't he fucking insane?" and stuff. she is equally good at escalating the fight to the reaching point of just make people leave embarrassed, depending on the situation.

baby Damian definitely doesn't even understand the meaning of slurs — his family is adequate, and he is a sheltered kid in a way, so he has no idea what all that means. but he feels a threatening aura. he first reminds people who he is, giving a chance to escape... and when it is not working, someone is about to get stabbed.

Duke tries to joke it off first. like, in a "oh, from all slurs, i got called *this*? that's something new, buddy, kudos" kind of way. if it doesn't work and people continue annoying him, he simply fights these people. he doesn't care much.

that‘s a really lovely concept to have actually! i do think arle would be a little overwhelmed tho if her children get overly touchy with her, it actually takes her a few seconds to hug them back but i don’t think she‘d treat the kid differently from the rest! on the other side it would probably heal something inside of her, the thought of her kids being overjoyed at her arrival is exactly what tells her that she‘d doing a better job than mother, even if she still isn’t perfect. she‘d be quite fond of the kid actually!

Alright, so Giyuu and Kyojuro's FIRST co-mission together, probably some time when taking a break while traveling, In all of Kyojuro's pride, he blatantly (yet flamboyantly) exclaims, "Tomioka! Why do you dislike me?" Giyuu would look at him confused, before awkwardly replying with a, "...'dislike' is a strong word." Kyojuro would definitely laugh, "Aha! But you didn't deny your resentment!"

(THIS IS THE PART WHERE INNER ME SQUEALS) Giyuu scratches the back of his neck, looking to the ground unable to meet Kyojuro's gaze as he admits, "You're too... bright. And too warm. It's an unsettling feeling i'm not used to. It creates emotions i'm not used to. I suppose that's why I find it difficult to speak with you."

For a while now Kyojuro had noticed how a certain pillar (Giyuu) had been conspicuously NOT talking to him. Just something about the way he so blatantly avoided Kyojuro piqued his interest—it wasn’t as if he were a stranger to getting odd looks (often because of his hair, or maybe because he spoke loudly), and he didn’t really expect to get along with every Hashira, especially considering he’d only recently joined. But Giyuu was avoiding him, not just being unsocial, as was previously warned by some of their fellow coworkers. So, naturally, on their following (read: first) joint mission, he confronted Giyuu about it.

Never dance around a topic or sugar coat it when such things would likely cause misunderstandings, Kyojuro had learned, so as they headed towards their destination, he placed the question on the table raw, paired with a smile so Giyuu didn’t feel pressured. “Tomioka-san! Why do you dislike me?”

Mildly surprised by the question, and how easily it was delivered, Giyuu paused, eyebrows quirking up. Then, uneasily, he murmured (in his usual quiet voice that always had Kyojuro leaning in to hear), “‘Dislike’ is… a strong word.”

“Ah but—you didn’t deny your resentment!” Kyojuro said joyfully, lips dancing in a wide smile. He waited for a reply patiently, watching his coworker struggle for a moment.

“You’re too… bright,” Giyuu admitted, gazing pointedly at the ground as he mused over it. “And— And too warm, it creates unsettling feelings that I’m not used to. Emotions I’m not sure what to do with. I suppose that’s why I find it difficult to speak to you.”

He sounded reluctant to say it, what with how his voice quieted even more towards the end. Kyojuro’s surprised—pleasantly so—and his smile faltered, eyebrows lifting.

“Is that so?” he asked louder than he intended, and Giyuu’s eyes flit back up to his with a nod. Then Kyojuro smiles again, inexplicably proud of himself. “Does me being ‘warm’ relate to me being the Flame Hashira?”

That earns something of amusement to flicker through Giyuu’s expression. “Does it?” he counters, then turns in the road to inspect something.

Kyojuro joins him, turning Giyuu’s words in his head. Unsettling feelings, hm?

WIP Wednesday (11/27) | Arsonist Neil / Firefighter Andrew AU (Part 267)

Andrew merely shrugs at that and snaps the lid back into place before adding the candy to the ginormous bag in his lap. Rearranging everything to fit back inside is difficult and sort of pointless, but it gives him something to do besides stare. He doesn't think 10 would appreciate staring right now. The man's already getting a bit twitchy. Restless.

Andrew glances over at him and 10's hands are scarred across the knuckles, all the way up towards his wrists. They're shaking slightly where they rest on his lap. He's turned very slightly to face Andrew with one leg bent under him and the other bouncing a mile a minute on the floor.

"You seem nervous." Andrew comments, making 10's head snap up. "Should I look away for a minute so you can run off into the alley and set something on fire?"

"No. Shut up. I'm fine," 10 answers quickly. But the way his fingers tense suggests it's a lie. The arsonist blows air through his nose. "I'm fine. Really. You're a horrible firefighter by the way."

"How dare you." Andrew says in mock offense, hand to his heart and everything. "I'll have you know I'm an incredible firefighter."

"You just suggested I commit arson."

"Because you're an arsonist and it calms you down." Andrew says. Besides, he thinks it's safest to commit arson with a firefighter ten feet away. He doesn't bother sharing that thought because he doesn't want to get roped into being an accessory.

10 laughs humorlessly then sighs deeply. "Andrew."

"That's my name."

10 rolls his pretty eyes and mutters something to himself that Andrew can't decipher. "The reason I'm nervous is you."

"I'm wildly aware." Andrew says, crossing his arms. "You're certifiably antisocial and you don't hide it very well."

It's rude and hurtful and Andrew could say the same of himself. But he's not the one who looks like he's about to puke. Or bolt out of his own car to get away.

"No. This... is different." 10 makes a face. For a moment he chews on his bottom lip— from the look of it, he's been abusing it all day. Andrew watching 10's eyes flit about silently, waiting for something. Finally, 10 clears his throat. "You know how I told you a while back that I didn't swing? Sexually or whatever."

"Yes." Andrew had been dismayed at that reveal. He remembers the fantasy he'd entertained— sucking 10's bad habit out of him— when they were barely acquainted.

"I think I was wrong." 10 says and Andrew freezes. "I think maybe I do. At you."

"What does that mean exactly?"

"It means I... like you." 10 answers with a shrug. 

"You like me, as in...?"

"As in, I think you're attractive and fun to talk to and I might want to kiss you sometime."

At that confession, Andrew's heart skips a beat. Or two. Possibly three.

Despite his heart's concerning rhythm and his stomach's gymnastic routine, Andrew can do nothing but stare blankly. He's never been told something like that before in his entire fucking life. No one's ever liked him. No one's ever wanted to kiss him sometime. People have wanted and taken, but never asked.

He is later revealed to have a sister of similar behavior, Mona Lisa, played by Jenny Slate. She’s also kinda psycho

I had a potentially cursed thought.

What if Movie Amy ends up being voiced Jenny Slate? Then the Sonic movies and Parks and Rec would have a very weird similarity to the MCU and Monsterverse films, of sharing two actors that played siblings in one, and a couple in the other.

I need for this to become reality, please💀Idc that it seems weird or cursed, it's hilarious to think about.
