how i think rook and vil would propose!

rooks proposal is not very traditional which i think we all could’ve guessed lol he does try to plan out how he wants to do it, but like a lot of things rook does, it ends up being a spur of the moment thing. on a random day where the two of you aren’t doing anything special, just spending time with one another, he looks over at you and is just absolutely struck by the amount he loves you. you’re not even dressed up or doing anything special, but to him you’re the most beautiful when you’re letting your guard down around him. to him, it’s a physical feeling he gets in his chest when he sees just how ethereal you are without even trying. he doesn’t even think about what he’s doing when he whispers that he wants you to marry him. once he sees your expression and realizes what he said, he just rolls with it- his subconscious made the decision to propose and who is he to go against that? he doesn’t have a ring, but he still takes your hand and formally asks you to marry him, and oh how cute his face is when you say yes!

vil is much more of a planner, especially when it comes to something this important. he doesn’t like the idea of doing it on an anniversary or your birthday, that’s cheap to him. ever since the two of you graduated he made it a point to spend one whole week together on vacation, to get away from your stressors and spend time together uninterrupted- and he decides that’s the perfect time to do it. you spend the morning together in bed for a change, and once you both get up vil takes you on a walk. it’s posed as a casual event just to stretch your legs and see the sights where you’re vacationing, but vil secretly scoped out the perfect place to propose before you even left. it ends in the most beautiful spot he could find, away from tourists for privacy, and it feels magical being the only two people in such a magnificent area. he has a short but to the point speech about how much you’ve changed his life for the better, and vows to do the same thing for you if you’d let him

Of course! :D I've talked a little bit about shading and color palettes before, so I thought it'd be fun if I focused on the pre-refining stage here.^^

My ideas always start on paper. Be it with original concepts or fanart, I much prefer using the traditional approach first as it helps me stay more focused when I draw. For reasons I couldn't explain, trying to keep things in a sketchbook has never worked for me though, so I go for the more clustered alternative: keeping small cutouts of everything. 😂

For any sudden spark of inspiration that I get, the rougher sketches always fall into one of two categories. The first one primarily emphasizes body dynamics and movement, and it's what I focus on whenever I'm looking for a specific composition or key moment in a scene. Those are usually "silent" or accompanied only by a few stray words to help me find the look I'm trying to convey.

...And then there's the contextual sort. x3 Those particular doodles are always the most basic and rudimentary. Barely more than stick figures, really. They're the ones that I throw haphazardly on a page in the form of messy storyboards whenever an entire scene hits me and I need to hurry up transcribing everything before it vanishes from my mind. This I do quite compulsively, and I have tons of these for every movie/series/franchise I've ever been interested in. 😂

From there, any idea that I want to clean up and color is first redrawn on Photoshop and then progressively refined with additional layers. ✍️😌

Hey Nonny, dear! These are SO good. I’ll add them to the list but I won’t lie to you, no promises I’ll get them done. I’ve been dealing with some chronic back pain that makes it painful to sit for really any period of time (RIP to using my PC) but also just makes my brain real ~foggy~

I’m definitely on the up and up so I’ve got them on the to-do list, but if I do manage to finally sit and play, I may work on some story posts instead. My apologies to you and anyone else who sent me one, I got a little over ambitious by posting that.

they’re toxic yaoi . to Me . this isn’t a ship that could ever really be fluffy or healthy it’s more like two people who hate each other more than anything (but are also codependent and incapable of leaving each other alone) ……. i’ll be honest a lot of it hinges on gojo’s suffering 💀 apologies to my golden boy.

BUT LIKE …. it’s so tasty to imagine gojo being a little pathetic. in canon he wants to kill kenjaku and give suguru a proper burial but what if he let himself be a little more selfish? what if he kept kenjaku alive just to see suguru’s face? all while hating him so deeply that it aches?? (but he can’t hurt him because it’s suguru’s body)…… you see what i mean. he’s like a rabid stray biting the hand that feeds him. :3c

and it’s especially tasty because kenjaku would truly be so awful — look how low the six eyes has fallen, he says. i like to picture him messing with gojo a lot. acting like suguru, only to switch back to their real personality, making him feel pathetic for being so weak to his love… obviously i do like to think that they Love each other but it’s a twisted love that only they could understand . gojo hates kenjaku and kenjaku hates him too but the obsession kinda blurs the lines. i think it’d be tasty to imagine kenjaku getting jealous of suguru, just for a moment …….. they’re making out and gojo rasps out a ’suguru’, and kenny wishes they could strangle him. i guess it would be more like possession …….. as for gojo, the idea of falling in love with the monster puppeteering your true love’s corpse is just . neat to me <33333

in conclusion they’re absolutely awful. and so funny. stan goken today 🙏🙏🙏

Simon saying "It's good to be seen" after being turned back to normal gets me every time- like going for hundreds of years only being recognized as the Ice King to himself and others, then to be greeted by Betty saying, "It's good to see you, Simon." Her, Marcy, and Finn were some of the very few people to call him Simon and see past the curse; with Betty now gone though and life being so different in the last 12 years, he probably feels like he's still being trapped by Ice King's existence despite being himself again, bc so many people can't or refuse to see him as he is. Even though he's obviously Simon now, everyone still likes referring to his Ice King days over and over. Marcy of course still cares, but with her being busy with her own life now and nearly everyone saying that Ice King was the "better" one, he likely feels more unseen than ever. He may exist, but the people don't really 'see him', and it brings on a whole different feeling of isolation

I can't stop thinking about a hypothetical scenario in which Daniel brews random ass potion that has a weird effect for shits n giggles and carries it around constantly and mc goes like "yo why do you even carry that?" and he says something among the lines of "it might help us in the future" and mc's like "uhhh whatever you say lmao"(they still think it's useless) and then there's like a major boss fight or something and the gang is about to get attacked by some random adult wizard and Daniel just. yeets the potion at their face, making them fall family guy style and he goes like "see? I told you it's was gonna be useful one day" and they win or whatever
