i just noticed this, but you say Cynthia is the number one Akari hype woman? Does Kieran keep the name Akari after hisui or do they go back to using Kieran? Also i just wanted to say i love this au, its so good, i love how you write and explain this stuff <3

Omg thank you so much! I feel like I tend to over explain things to be honest.

Kieran goes by Akari when they get back, they still don't remember their name, though their friends back in Hisui were calling them Kiki as a nickname.

Drayton is the one who is like "Kieran!?" And that's how they learn Akari's real name. Legally though, Kieran is dead. But also i like the idea of Kieran and Carmine being like, their western names, with Suguri and Zeiyu being their legal names. Legally Kieran (Suguri) is now "Akari" but they will go by Kieran as their chosen western name again after getting reintroduced to everyone. Too much paperwork and questions on the legal end of things, it was easier to just roll with their Akari ID and using OG info to get a new birth certificate issued than dealing with legal red tape to reinstate an old social security number.

Kieran does pose and take a photo in front of their own grave though yolo

Art rec! Lady Sneasler with her warden and the Shiny Warden? (If Emmet also fell with Ingo?)

BIG FAN OF THIS ACTUALLY. quite enjoyable. Ingo and Emmet got separated when they first fell, with Ingo getting picked up by Pearl Clan and Lady Sneasler dragging Emmet around for about a week until Ingo woke up in a cold sweat realizing there was something he left on Mt.Coronet(at the time not realizing it was his brother).

Irida went with Ingo till they stumbled upon eachother. Irida thought he was a fucked up Zorua or something until the twins started circling eachother like really excited dogs and realized oh. okay never mind there's just another one now.

since Emmet had such a swell time with Lady Snealser and she quickly takes a liking to Ingo as well, Irida finds it easy enough to appoint them as her wardens when they get acclimated, probably the weirdest ones in the history of the clans.

they both are missing their memories; when they first stumbled upon eachother they were sputtering trying to say eachother's names they gave up and went "YOU!!! I KNOW YOU!!!!". Emmet ended up introducing himself first when he caught Irida saying Ingo's name. and got excited that he had it again.

RUBBING HANDS TOGETHER. I LOVE TO THINK ABOUT THINGS. I LIKE WENT PEOPLE SEND ME THINGS TO THINK ABOUT AND DRAW.

so I challenged myself to catching the fieldlands alpha luxio before finishing rei's tutorial in my current pla playthrough. buckle in rei, every day's going to be a new wacky adventure with akari around

EDIT: I was missing a panel!! Orz Now the whole thing is there It's done!! GOOD HEAVENS this was an undertaking with a bunch of going back and editing drawings to be more cohesive!! But I am so glad to finally have it done, for Pokemon day! This all was inspired by a few AUs I've seen by people such as @waywardstation and @parasolladyansy , as well as an AU RP I did with a friend where humans who were Deeply Wronged became the wrathful Hisuian Zoroark (With her Akari nearly becoming one herself) I totally have more drawings I thought of for the whole song, ("But the voice of the ghost was coming from a ghost no more" being Emmet, having a side by side with Emmet going on a journey looking for Ingo and comparing his journey to Akari's) but it was already like, 14 drawings and I wanted to tell a cohesive story without burning out instead;; Happy Pokemon Day!!
