Do you believe that other forms of consciousness can form from ptsd, but not meeting the diagnostic criteria for DID/OSDD?

I really want to know opinions! I personally feel like our ptsd has split our brain into different people, but not to the severity of DID/OSDD. We have bad memory and get dissociation, but not bad enough for diagnostic criteria.

Switches are very rare, but co-con and co-fronting is common.

One of the most bittersweet things that ever happened to me was stumbling across an instagram page dedicated to my hometown and realizing that some people genuinely think of it as a beautiful, culturally rich desert town and not the gang-infested sandpit I grew up in. That there were genuinely good aspects of it but my own childhood has warped my perception of my birthplace to the point where the city looks unrecognizable.
