I honestly feel like that Boruto totally destroyed Sakuras character development in a lot of ways. And what Sasuke did was so out of character for him. The only way I could see him doing it would be in some over complicated way of continuing his clan and paying for his crimes. So I feel like Sakura at first might fall for it, but then realize its a fantasy at least.

Some stans absolutely do act like sn is still the majority, I was actually disappointed and confused that I kept running into so much ns lmaoo. They stay whining and complaining about girly naruto that straight women self insert into as if current ns isn't just that but reversed. Only thing is its probably less about being attracted to naruto and more wanting to be taken care of since thats what ns content centers around. The dynamic is always naruto somewhat taking care of or babying traumatized (quiet/fragile/subdued or tsundere supreme who refuses to ask for help) sasuke who takes up cooking/gardening or generally starts to act like a housewife.
There's sooo much content treating sasuke like a girl but for them it's justified because of the yin-yang dynamic. Ns stans draw for literally anything to make sasuke feminine but sn stans are still the cringe self insert devils. Can you imagine sn stans using boruto and sarada as proof for who's "the girl" in the relationship.
Idk which editor or whoever called sasuke the heroine but they've done irreparable damage, and that one shot manga mario or something too. Then there's posts saying sasuke is naruto's kushina and taking jabs at "Naruto self inserts" saying the popular naruto-kushina sasuke-minato isn't the way kishimoto sees it as if them and kishimoto know eachother.
I stumble upon ns fics sometimes and their descriptions of naruto as some (insert masculine adjective), sweaty, rough etc etc is so.. 😭 I've never read sn fics where sasuke is described like that. Don't even get me started on the way they draw him in fanart sometimes where naruto is broad and thick while sasuke is slim with the thinnest waist. If you follow ns stans you'd think sasuke was this sassy dainty twink or hinata 2.0. It's like they're so caught up in the symbolism and couple comments from creators they forget there's more to the characters and start pushing them into boxes, mainly the masculine/feminine active/passive ones.
Sorry for the long rant I've just seen too much 😭
Anon! If you're seeing this answer please follow me or send me a message you're so fucking funny. And you're right. Not gonna over it again cause I explained myself to other anons. But it's totally true, this is the state this shipping fandom is in and I want no part in it. I got like, most of them blocked by now and I dont regret it lol!! A bunch of hypocrites. It feels like now that I've spoken out a lot of people feel the same way so it makes me feel as if I know what I'm talking about 😭 I ain't the only one seeing this shit lmao. Like lemme see what you're seeing, cause I ain't seeing it unless I go look for post in 2014. And you're right about the fics too. Modern ones always make sure to point out that they're both pretty. Like he's ethereal, but they get it sorta way. At this point, they're what they fear and vilify those who like sasunaru more. They won't ever shut up about us, too, like they're still in 2010....youre like almost 30 move on. Oh the irony...
And on top of that, that dumbass "kushina parallel" gotta be one of my biggest peeves. NO READING COMPREHENSION. Take off the shipping googles for the n*rus*su stans and see that Naruto IS compared to his mother. Like what the hell?? 😭 They both have the dattebayo tick, they're both firey, outgoing and strong in their own right. Minato, his fucking dad outright states, "wow, you look a lot like your mother!" Does he have to have red hair to make it ANY more apparent? And I don't like naruhina, more dislike/neutral, but even in that boruto illustration Naruto was the one MIMICKING his mother while Hinata was Minato. Like ain't no way you despise the thought so much you start making up things. No, that does not mean he's super femme now, just that he takes after his mother in personality and looks. He's his mother, sasuke...idk. he doesn't fit Minato in my opinion LOL. You done got me heated, one of my most hated posts omg 😭 went on a tangent sorry about that

Hi, sorry to bother, but I've been following and reading you for a while now and you sound like the right person to ask for some advice about an idea I had a while back for a story with Kakashi and Gai as the (almost) main couple. More specifically I'd like to ask you if you have headcanons regarding Kakashi and Gai as parents. Briefly explaining, I have this story in which I explore the relationship between the two of them a bit, including the Team 3's involvement as basically Gai's adopted children (albeit in a way that is very hidden and impossible to publicly admit and acknowledge, for bureaucratic reasons and archaic laws) This by extension also includes Kakashi seeing the team grow up, very closely, and being a part of it from time to time; with the three "students" as spectators to the emotional swing that was the relationship between Gai and Kakashi. There's a lot going on, perhaps even too much, in this story. The past of the two, their respective parents' past, distant relatives and more. Among them will be Lee's wife, namely Metal's mother. A woman from a village of criminals, forgotten by the law and the gods, who has a history as a mercenary, assassin-for-hire with very gray morals and a fairly traumatic past, as well as somewhat Mary Sue-like relatives (I apologize, but I've tried to give her a great deal of flaws, to compensate) And her and Lee's relationship is surprisingly strong. She adores him, not afraid to express it, she thinks he's unique and precious. A divine miracle. Despite this, she's afraid of ruining him and being a curse to him, so wishing to see him safe and happy all the time pushes him away a bit. (In a sort of parallelism between this relationship and the one of Kakashi and Gai.) And after this unnecessary rambling, my actual asking is, do you have any headcanons for this kind of scenario? What might Kakashi think about this woman and her relationship with Lee? And Gai? And how could they be as parents? And Lee and TenTen as siblings? Apologies again for the annoyance and thank you very much for your patience.
There is no annoyancw! I love answering questions involving headcanons.
Also, bever apologize for a Mary-sue like character. Heck, Boruto is a thing and he’s what I would call a Gary-sue. It’s not for me personally but as long as there are actual character flaws it can still be a lot of fun and even if not, it’s just fun.
You make your character’s how you want.
As parents i think Kakashi and Gai would balance each other out really well
Gai is hands on and exciting. He plays with the kids (sometimes a bit too rough) and trys to make himself always available
Kakashi is a little more hands off but still very much there. He prefers reading with his kiddo and teaching them, and leaves the play to Gai who has a lot more fun with that. He’s also super patient and calm, where Gai is a bit more impatient and pushy at times.
These trait can clash, but the two of them work together and talk about important things like what they want for their kiddo, appropriate punishments, etc so they have a really tight well figured out parental system.
Tenten and Lee i’d say are the siblings who often roll their eyes at each other (tenten) and don’t know the meaning of ‘personal space’ (lee). They can often devolve into arguing but would also kill for each other without hesitation.
What Kakashi thinks is it’s not really his place to have an opinion on Lee’s relationship.
His goal isn’t really to interject into anyone’s relationship, but to see the people he cares about happy. As long as Lee’s wife makes him happy, Kakashi is happy.
As long as she is good to Lee, Kakashi is supportive. He might offer advice once in a while if he feels she needs kt (like he tries to do with Sasuke regarding Sarada) but otherwise is just happy to see them happy.

What do you think of all the other Uchihas?
Oh, well, this will be long. Let's see:
Uchiha Tajima, I don't have much to say about him? He seems like a somehow decent dad. I mean, yeah, he trained his sons to fight since they were probably able to stand, but then again, it was war and a kill or be killed era, so, you know, gotta be sure your last two sons out of the original five don't die;
Uchiha Madara, He is the ultimate D a d d y for me. Sure, a bit crazy at the end, you know, after seeing his last brother die to the hands of the last brother of his best friend and seeing said brother live happily ever after in the village he and his best friend wanted to create for both of their brothers . Seeing his best friend being the Hokage and loved by everyone like Madara did nothing (I think the best idea should have been to have two Hokages, one from the Senju and one from the Uchiha, working side by side, you know, to keep strong the bond over the years since both clan founded the village) and being shut off by his own clan. No one noticing that he was probably depressed and attacking the village that shut him off and being literally stabbed through the back by his best friend. I would have wanted to kill everyone as well in his position;
Uchiha Izuna, He didn't get enough screen time. I like him, he seems like he could have been a great friend for Hashirama, doing stupid shit together while Tobirama and Madara shake their heads wondering why their husbands are so stupid;
Uchiha Kagami, Don't have much to say about him, either? Like Izuna, he should have had more screen time. He was Tobirama's student, and to impress Tobirama you must be a wonderful person and a very good shinobi. It could have been interesting;
Uchiha Fugaku, I... Don't... Hate him? Like, he was a shitty father in a lot of ways, pushing and pushing his sons to be better and perfect, but, like, I think he was that way because his own father raised him that way and it was the only way he knew how to raise a child. He also seemed somehow friend with Minato (or at least I like to think that Minato decided that they were friends and Fugaku wasn't able to shake him off) and if he and Kushina hadn't died I think, after Naruto was born, that Minato would have helped him change to be a better father, raising their sons together, and maybe one day Fugaku would have found in himself the courage to say sorry to Itachi as well. I don't know, I just think he didn't have the possibility to change;
Uchiha Mikoto, She's G o d d e s s. Like, dude, I am weak for her, She's the best of the best only for deciding to put up with Fugaku's bullshit. Sadly, I must say, she could have tried to help Fugaku be a better father, or, you know, say something about how wrong the coup was, but then again, I would still die for her and, who knows, maybe she was okay with the idea of the coup? I don't know, man, she could step on me and I would be happy;
Uchiha Obito, He's hot. Yeah, a bit crazy, but, you know, he was half-crushed under rocks, taken in by mad-Madara when he was 13, pushed and pushed and pushed to get better even while he was in pain, saw the love of his life die at the hand of his best friend, warped by Zetsu and practically brain-washed in following Madara's Eye of the Moon Plan. He deserved way better and I will protect him until the end of the time;
Uchiha Itachi, He's baby and he needs to be protected as well. Yeah, he has his faults, you know, helping Obito in killing the entire clan and then torturing his baby brother with the Tsukuyomi, telling him to kill his best friend to get stronger and all that jazz, but then again, he had seen his best friend jump off a cliff after receiving his eye as a last gift, people thought he had killed Shisui himself to gain the Mangekyō and no one probably asked him if he needed to talk about his raging trauma, he had been approached by Danzou and he had to chose between saving Sasuke or seeing the entire clan, Sasuke included, dead. Do you know what I think? Danzou had Kotoamatsukami when he talked with Itachi, and I think that he used it on Itachi to make him pick one of the two possibilities without making him think to any other way. So, yeah, Itachi has his faults, but in the end it's all Danzou's fault anyway;
Uchiha Sasuke, angry baby emo boy, clearly in love with Naruto, unable to express his emotions and traumatized by his big brother he leaves the village after probably no one ever asked him if he wanted to talk about his issues. Orochimaru has 'helped' him in taking a decision, but even without the Cursed Mark I think he would have left the village anyway at some point. Finds out that his brother had been manipulated by the village and pushed into killing the clan because it was the only way to leave Sasuke alive and people expect him to go back to Konoha? Hell fucking no, I would have raged as well. That fucking village broke my fucking brother, pushed him into killing an entire fucking clan and leave like a fucking criminal all the while the bastard (Danzou I'm looking at you) that started all this (my poor Shisui's death) is living happy and free like nothing happened? Yeah, no, fuck the village. Also, SasuSaku doesn't have sense? Sakura chased after Sasuke, trying to force her love on him, even if Sasuke never ever showed that sort of affection for her? If it was a man chasing after a woman like that people would have been pissed, but that's an entirely different topic so let's not go into that;
Uchiha Sarada, I don't follow Boruto, but she seems like a little kickass. Of course, Kishi is not good with women so she'll probably end up being in the background seemingly useless, so, you know 🤷🏻‍♂️

An AU where everything in Naruto is the same but Kisame survives
Ugghhh what could have been. He should have surviiiiiiiiiived. The whole Akatsuki should’ve survived but that’s another discussion. I have a lot of feelings about this and they’re all jumbled up. Is this cohesive? Not really. 😅
- Kisame lived damn near his whole life without anybody having his back. For a while he had Itachi, who he genuinely trusted and cared for (although to what extent and how mutual that was is purely up to you). Most importantly, he respected Itachi. And then Itachi died.
-Every time I think of someone else who could’ve gotten through to him, I come up with a reason why it wouldn’t have worked, and I make myself sad again so I’m not including that here because this post would be three times as long with all that rambling.
-But say he did live. Would he go back to Kiri? Honestly, maybe? He still has Samehada, and you know they’d want that back. Yeah, he deserted, but that was after what could arguably be considered one of the most traumatic times of his life. And since Tobito is no longer in power there, things have gotten better.
-Konoha? Itachi’s home (although this option would fully depend on how bitter he was at them). They’d probably welcome him. Cause, y’know. Konoha. And they took Orochimaru back; honestly if they can forgive him for all his BS they don’t have the right to turn away anybody.
-I could see him wandering around just doing his own thing though, maybe meet up with Sasuke’s nonsense occasionally, coming back with him to Konoha to dote on Sarada like a vicious-but-still-incredibly-polite-uncle. Beat the shit out of Gai for forgetting him again. (And that’s a can of worms in its own right. Have you seen that meta post about Gai’s health? I’m pretty sure it was on here; I’d link it but I can’t remember who wrote it.)
-He could’ve gotten an apprentice in Kiri and started training them up in kenjutsu while traveling around. Or if he stayed in Kiri, he could be a mentor for the current/next gen of the Seven Swordsmen, maybe drag Suigetsu’s sorry ass back with him to help. 😂
-Or maybe he’d settle down, start a family somewhere. No matter how many times Kishimoto changed the way he drew Kisame, said shark man was always handsome, if not downright beautiful. Like honestly. Can you imagine babies with blue-grey skin and white eyes playing on a beach next to a little house off the coast of some island? 🥺
- And really this is just all basic stuff that are nice to think about, there’s no telling where one could actually take it if they thought about it in terms of an actual story/timeline change.
I just word-vomited all over this post. Probably should’ve actually written something more cohesive but I saw the notification four days late (good job me) and it caught me off guard. If you want more word-vomit about the rest of the Akatsuki or more details about any of these, send me a thing? I’m already a mess let’s keep it going! 😅😂

Hey! Yes im the same anon who just finished the show😅. Thanks for replying btw! What i meant about sasuke and the “one and only friend” thing tho was that sasuske said naruto was his one and only friend while naruto only says that sasuke is his friend. (Also, didnt you love when sasuke admitted that he finally knew what naruto meant by “wondering if this is what it was like to have a brother”. You’re right tho, as kids nobody but sasuke could keep up with this guy😂 same chaotic energy. But idk i really believe we shouldve seen a sasuke redemption arc regarding his friendship with naruto. I know they were never like that, but a dude just has to make up for 4 years of fighting and having naruto running around after him, you know. Not expecting anything mushy, maybe even if he conveyed his inner monologue we watched right after their fight. But, with that said, I do have siblings and we handle things without talking also😂 probably its their brotherhood that doesnt require them get into it too much. Sorry for the longs asks, i must be bothering you
Yeahhhhh....you know....  I don’t like to complain about the show, so I’m not happy to say this, but how they handled Sasuke later does bother me.  I don’t like that he was gone for so long, he couldn’t even recognize his own daughter.  Pretty much everything else about Boruto I can let slide, except for maybe that one thing.  I don’t know if you’ve watched Boruto, yet, at all, but a lot of people complain about various things in it.  And for me, how Sarada meets her father is the most upsetting, far away and above all the other complaints people make about the show.
Sasuke leaving the village for several years “to atone” and then later on to investigate the extraterrestrials...it all just seems like lazy writing to me 😓.  Like, that’s what I do when I don’t want to have to deal with writing Sasuke!  I just leave him out of my fic (*cough Last Chance cough*).  Sasuke is such a plotty character.  He’s intense, complex, traumatized...such an angsty character that when he’s on the screen, his presence demands attention...and I bet the writers just couldn’t come up with a way to fit him into the ending without the ending being entirely about him.
And for how I interpret Sasuke’s character, there’s just no way he’d abandon his own family for over 10 years to the point of not knowing his own baby.  There must have been really something going on in his investigation, but the show doesn’t justify it enough.
That was a tangent!!  All that to say, Yeah, couldn’t they have shown just one more scene of Team 7 beyond the time Sasuke&Naruto are bleeding out at the bottom of Valley of the End??  It could’ve been a montage of silent scenes, just showing them catching up with each other or enjoying each other’s company.  Then Naruto’s goal of bringing Sasuke back would feel more...fulfilled, even if Sasuke ends up leaving again.
...So...now that I aired out so much negativity...does anyone know a soft fanfic of Sasuke missing his family or being upset about not being able to see them?  Canon-compliant Sasuke wondering about his family, or his hesitance/awkwardness about integrating himself into the family he neglected?  I should go ask some SasuSaku blogs...  Which SasuSaku bloggers read a lot of fic?

[RANT] I don't ship sakusasu at ALL but for some reason all the jokes about them getting a divorce really bother me??? Like, they're both happy, they built a sweet little family, but some folk are just SO anti Sakura that they'd still want to take their boy Sasuke, who's already had a very miserable life, and take yet another family from him, all for the sake of a bachelor-pad headcanon of theirs. Like, SOMEHOW this traumatized criminal got a happy ending, why you trying to take that from him?!
I’m so sorry anon… idek where you’re getting this from but… they’re not happy. Sasuke isn’t, Sakura isn’t. Sakura’s hanging onto a childhood crush and Sasuke’s taking what he gets because it’s “socially acceptable”. Sarada is literally the only thing that holds them together! She’s quite cute and I like her, but I don’t exactly see them as a good family? If anything, they’re the most dysfunctional unit I’ve ever seen. Not that the others in Boruto are that much better. I mean, Sai/Ino/Inojin is the only valid canon family anymore? Also Chōji and Gaara’s little families are cute too... I simply take SS as being in a relationship so they can avoid flak for being gay and help Sasuke continue the Uchiha clan through Sarada.
Yeah, it is a little sad that people are clamouring for Sasuke to be alone. A divorce however doesn’t mean that he and Sakura would stop talking or anything - Team 7 is like a family to Sasuke. They are his best friends and the people he trusts most. And Sarada won’t stop being his daughter because he and Sakura are divorced. It would probably be the healthiest thing in Boruto for both Sasuke and Sakura right now. In canon? SS act like they’re divorced already so… yeah. It’s not exactly a happy ending for either of them...
But I see your point. I mean, it really doesn’t depend on love; sometimes you can be married to your best friend for convenience. And a divorce would just mess things up further and traumatise Sasuke unless he and Sakura were both cool and wanted it, not because they were fighting but because they thought they were better as friends. So... yeah. Probably not the best route rn. Though, canon SS in Boruto is seriously making me think about it...

Um sorry to be that guy but bringing up ‘realism’ when you think Sarada is saying she wishes Naruto was her dad (even now) and saying that it’s normal for 12 year olds to feel like that and blah blah blah isn’t really logical IMO because, ignoring Gaiden, this is the manga where people like Sasuke, Obito and Gaara were forgiven by Naruto, Sakura etc in a snap. You don’t see anyone ‘traumatized’ as 12-17 year olds so the argument that she can now and even forever have issues and that’s okay falls flat IMO since in shonen and Naruto issues are fickle a lot of the times. I mean Sasuke apologised after trying to kill Sakura, Naruto and Kakashi and they forgave him lol. You think Naruto still had issues the next day? You think Kakashi still resents Obito for what he did? You think Sakura has nightmares and questions if she can be with Sasuke?
Regardless of which side you’re on, please don’t act like Sarada was ever a normal girl in a normal world with normal people. SP/Kodachi can stop emphasizing that Sasuke is away and doesn’t spend time with Sarada and it would still be logical. They just like angst with Sasuke/Sarada and don’t mind having Boruto happy with Naruto AND Sasuke on panel/on screen.

Is She Beautiful? - Chapter 9 Borusara fanfiction
First of all, this chapter is dedicated to @borusarastuff as a White Day gift! I'm so sorry Ana, that I couldn't write something new but I hope you like this gift!
Thanks to @roopshasil for betareading!
I'm back with the new chapter of this story - the second to the last chapter! And as for the cliffhanger in the previous chapter, I'm sort of glad that I got you'll worked up! Haha! Don't worry, this chapter ends on better note! Hope you all like it!
...
Chapter 9
Thoughts for Thoughts
Red.
All red.
Sarada blinked heavily but the red was still not going away. The warm blood trickled down her face and she felt her senses go haywire. Her sharingan registered the katana at a mere inch from her. It took her a moment to realise that there was no pain. The blood was not hers.
It belonged to the hand which had grasped the sword tightly, preventing it from slicing off her side. She quivered. Her mouth opened in a silent scream as her eyes traced the hand back to its owner.
B-Boruto?
Boruto stood there beside her, hand outstretched, holding the sword as if his life depended on it and blood dripped down off from it, staining the earth below. She could not see his face due to the shadows that his bangs cast over his eyes. And then her eyes fell on the perpetrator. The guy looked horrified, maybe shaken up by the fact that he had almost killed someone.
He wheezed out as his hand let go of sword, stumbling back. Boruto's hand slowly uncurled around it and the blood soiled weapon clattered on the floor.
“Leave.”
Sarada was surprised. The voice in which he uttered out those words was way too cold to belong to a boy who personified the sunshine itself. She shuddered. In midst of her gaze of terror, she didn't even realise when the restraints of water whip on her body dissolved into nothing but a puddle beneath her feet.
The men scrambled away in haste, grabbing their fallen comrades and too scared to do anything else. Sarada still stood stunned, slowly coming to her senses. The first thing she did was checking upon the injuries of the civilian child, making sure that there were no life threatening blows. He looked traumatized and she was not surprised about that. It was quite rare for a civilian child of that age to have seen so much violence.
After a few minutes, she saw a squad of officers rushing in, she deduced that someone must have informed the police after seeing the chaos. They retrieved the child and promised her that they'd deliver the kid safely to his guardians. When asked about the injuries that she and Boruto sustained, Sarada convinced them that she would let her mother check upon both of them. Of course, Sakura Uchiha was famous for her grand feats in the field of medical ninjutsu. So they didn't argue.
Boruto was still standing there frozen. His hand was still dripping blood. Now that the shock of the fiasco had worn off, she found herself remembering all the reasons she had been angry about. In few swift moves she was right in front of him, pulled out her clean handkerchief and wrapped it around his wound in a fast and efficient manner. He looked surprised, his blue eyes showing inquisitiveness. But she didn't answer him and grasping his undamaged arm, she dragged him with her. Because the wound seemed a little deep, given that he had bare handedly stopped the katana from slicing her. And it definitely needed a proper treatment, or at least an appropriate first aid.
He didn't resist her at all. And she too, didn't dare to look back. The tension between them was palpable, so suffocating that Sarada wanted nothing more than for it to dissolve into nothingness. But she was also aware of the momentousness of the situation.
They needed to have this talk.
Now or Never.
Boruto felt a bead of sweat trickling down his forehead. Sarada was not shouting or arguing or lecturing him. She was dead silent and Boruto couldn't even figure out the degree of her fury.
Damn, I've earned the silent treatment again? Shit.
He desperately wanted to speak out anything but the aura that she emitted at the moment warned him to not do anything stupid further. And all the while he was milling around, they reached their destination. She slid open the door, her hand still in his. Her head swiveled around as if wondering if anyone was home before motioning him towards their living room and herself moving upstairs, not a word yet spoken between them.
He carefully settled himself on the couch of the room, making sure that no drop of blood would dirty the clean floor. He knew how hard his mother worked to keep the house clean and so did Aunt Sakura and he would not disregard that. He gaze flitted around when his eyes fell on the recent family photos of the Uchiha. And then beside it was one of Aunt Sakura and a tiny smiling Sarada. And it was then Boruto knew that he had to apologise to her. He didn't like her seeing angry or sad at all. He had to make her smile again.
The sound of footsteps approaching broke him out of his reverie. Sarada entered, carrying a box which looked him a first aid kit and kneeled in front of him, startling him a little bit. She placed the box beside her and rummaged through its contents before untying the bloody handkerchief from his wound with consideration.
He watched her with cautious eyes as she soaked a ball of cotton in antiseptics. Swallowing down his anxiety, he made a poor attempt.
“Sa-Sarada. Look, I'm sorry-!!”
He yelped out loudly as her fingers dabbed the cotton on his wound. Her choppy movements clearly made her ire visible and Boruto somehow thanked the heavens above for letting her practicing restraint as much as she was. Because his entire body throbbed and tremors wracked his legs every now and then.
“Sorry for what?” Came her clipped reply.
Boruto knew she was still livid but at least, this was a start. Because more of that silent treatment would have driven him mad.
“Ah, I know I should have involved myself with them, but I don't-” he was cut off again at her long sigh.
“Sarada?”
“You really worry me.”  She whispered in a tired tone.
“Ehhh?”
“Do you think I would want you to apologise for saving a child?” Her eyes flicked on his face for a second.
“No! Errr- I mean-” Boruto stuttered, not sure where this conversation was going towards.
“I...just want you to explain why were you there?”
On his visible confusion, she narrowed her eyes.
“I'm talking about the place you went after leaving the training field.”
There was a moment of blackness when suddenly everything fell into place. Boruto sat there like a gaping fish, a mixture of apprehension, fear and frustration gripping his insides.
“You...how did you?”
She pulled out the missing key from her pocket and held it in front of him. His silence made Sarada exhale out loudly.
“I thought you knew better than to hide facts from us again. But guess what, I was wrong. And furthermore, from what I have learned, Lord Seventh is unaware of the fact that you're willingly participating in the probation program despite the punishment you're already serving. Please explain me! Why would you do something like that?!”
Her voice was now higher, the turmoil inside her bursting out in installments.
“Because I don't want people to think that I'm using Dad's status to escape things easy!”
His scowled, as tears slowly started forming, “I know I did wrong! I know I humiliated Konoha infront of the Alliance! The things I've done...they are to be taken seriously Sarada! And yes, I did defeat Momoshiki guy! But still doesn't change the fact that I cheated!”
The tears rolled down his cheeks and he placed a hand over his eyes to hide them. But Sarada didn't mind. She had figured it out a long time before. She knew that he was absorbing all the hatred Village was spewing out on him and one day or the other...it was going to spill out. Thankfully, for all of their sake's, it was today. But he didn't stop speaking.
“I betrayed my sensei, your father - my master. I betrayed Himawari who has always looked up at me. I betrayed Shikadai, who gave his all. I betrayed Dad, who was honestly looking forward to see me fight earnestly. And I betrayed you and Mitsuki too.”
The guilt he housed was too overwhelming for someone of their age. And Sarada felt her heart getting progressively heavy.
“I never wanted to hurt anyone Sarada! Seriously! I just..I-I don't even know what I was thinking back then! And now, the villagers speak of me so differently then how they used to before. I know that I should be berated for my actions but... I really can't take it when they drag you guys or my family in between. That's why I'm doing everything I can to earn their forgiveness. But sometimes I think, no matter what I do... it's never going to be enough.”
His voice cracked and Sarada softly took the injured hand and started bandaging it. The silence that encased them now was not as harsh as previous. Something had shifted and an insouciant tenderness enveloped their hearts. He still shivered occasionally but was almost stable. After a while, when Sarada felt that it was okay for her to speak, she grabbed his other hand and whispered.
“Papa knew that you were cheating. From the beginning. He didn't stop you because he believed that it was something that you needed to learn by experiencing it yourself. He also told me something else as well, Boruto.”
She halted for a moment, lightly squeezing his hand.
“He said that 'people talk’. That no matter how many right things you've done in the past. One wrong deed can make them see you as something else.” She paused again for a second, watching him stare at her, looking at him right in the eyes, she yelled out.
“But! That doesn't define you! What they think doesn't matter! Yes, it is hurtful to see them blurting out like that but it would not change the efforts you're putting to make things right. And we all, the people you're important to, want you to see that! Do you understand?”
At his dumbfounded nod, she gave him a quivering smile.
“And more than that, you said it yourself, we are the ones you betrayed. Then why does the forgiveness of those people matter to you? The ones whose lives have barely touched you. And as for us? Yes, yes, we were mad at you. But tell me, Shikadai, does he still blames you for stealing his victory?”
“...No. He forgave me.”
“Your father? Does he blame you for ruining his reputation?”
“No! Never!”
“Himawari? Did she say you were a horrible brother for doing what you did?”
“She didn't. She just told me that she was glad that I was safe and how I'm her hero for bringing Dad back.”
“And Mitsuki?” Sarada questioned and then answered it herself, “I think he would never judge you for something like that.”
She smiled inwardly as his face slowly softened as if a heavy weight has been lifted off his shoulders. The hand that she had been holding for this all while tightened around her's a little bit. His eyes were peering in hers as if searching something that was incredibly valuable. And after a while, he asked.
“And you?”
Sarada was taken aback by the suddenness of the question and the intensity of Boruto's eyes. She felt her heart thrumming in here ears. He looked so anxious for her reply that she couldn't find it in herself to deny him. But after the recent happenings, she needed a bit of time. Her constant displeasure over some of his actions and her own feelings over the subject was really making this difficult for her.
There was absolutely no doubt that he mattered to her more than she could ever express in words but that is why it was insanely difficult to her to speak out what he meant to her.
Thankfully or not, depends on the way you look at it, she never had to answer the question.
“Sarada? ...Boruto?”
Both of them had been grappling so hard with their thoughts and emotions that they never noticed the entry of the two adults of the house.
“Mama? Papa?”
The growing look of alarm on both their faces made Sarada wince.
Of course, they didn't look good. Both her and Boruto, were red eyed, had tear streaked faces, were bruised and cut up and obviously, the large bloody bandaged cut on Boruto's palm did not escape their expert scrutiny.
“What happened?!”
...
I'm happy that I finally got to address their problems and write this conversation! Soft Sarada is calming to write. This is the point of their relationship where things start going deeper on both ends and I hope I was able to do justice to this emotionally intense scene! Please do tell me your thoughts for this chapter!

Anti SASUSAKU week day 2 - delusional things their fandom said
How to understand SS language
If you’ve been in Naruto fandom for some time, you probably wonder what the fuck sasusaku fandom is talking about. Don’t worry, it’s not your fault. As I’ve encountered with them on many occasions, I decided to make a list of terms that have a different meaning in normal language and their language, let’s start.
actual right term  vs.  sasusaku term
reason to love someone = someone is hot
“You’re annoying” = “I love you”
mocking for having no parents = would make great babies together
cries because he wants to accomplish his goals in his way - understands him
“You’re worse than Naruto” = “Haha, I lied for no reason”
lets her ‘hug’ him after he’s been severely traumatized = he lets HER hug him
murder attempt = want to actually save each other
“I love y-” “Who are you?” = romantic love confession
murder in genjutsu = he is actually protecting her
“You’re just like Sakura” = “I love Sakura so much!”
doesn’t let her hug him - BUT HE DID AFTER HE WAS TRAUMATIZED
breaks a friendship over a boy = Ino’s a bitch for liking Sasuke
sign of distance = sign of love
“Naruto, my one and only friend!” = “But Sakura is more important”
lets her fall into a lava pit = He loves her so much!
"Sorry Naruto, sorry Karin" = he apologized only to Sakura
unhealthy obsession = real genuine love
says “I’m sorry” after he got the shit beaten out him and lost his hand = I love u
chasing around = traveling together
they fucked = REAL LOVE
stalking anti page = Hinatits is the stalker!
touches her once and looks at her in war = omg eye sex!
Ino and Karin let him go cause he wants to be single = lol unworthy bitches
marries her because she got pregnant = marries her out of love
“I want to travel alone” = “Sakura please follow me”
“I have no reason to love her” = duh, he LOVES her for no reason, he just does
sends Naruto and Hinata a wedding card = omg it’s for Sakura’s birthday!
leaves for 9 years with no excuse = well he has the Rinnegan
when he actually got his mission from Naruto = he came to see Sakura!
doesn’t know how his daughter looks like and tries to kill her = sign of love
“Becuase we have you, Sarada” = “Because I love your mom”
"I just want him to be happy" = Karin is selfish
Prefers to train Boruto and not Sarada = father-daughter bonding!
faints after seeing her husband after 12 years of marriage = so cute!
taps her picture over Karin = Karin’s a bitch
Ino married Sai cause they love each other - lmao she had to settle for clone
Sakura needs to hug him through Sarada = again, he loves her so fucking much
doesn’t take Salad with him ‘cause Bolt is stronger = he doesn’t want to hurt her
didn’t contact her ONCE in 12 years = but they still fucked ;)
never showed that he loves her - BUT THE FUCKING POKE!
Hope you’ll understand them now. <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

Sarada’s Sharingan | Boruto Theory
heres a theory about Sarada, cuz duh mate, i idolize her. shes a cute tsun-tsun, and has much potential. sorry if theres like spelling mistakes, not grammar. i may use grammar in some sentences, some not. please like if you enjoyed~
Most of this is from Quora, paraphrased and applied to this theory subject. This covers her cannon MS design, what triggers her MS, and evolution.
PS: THIS WILL COVER A LOT WITH SASUKE AND ITACHI, DON’T GET MAD PLS BC OF HOW MUCH INFO IM SAYING ABOUT EM
PS 2.0: THIS WILL COVER THINGS ABOUT SAKURA AND uhh DEATH DON’T GET OFFENDED I LUV HER 2 BUT
Now, now. Here’s just basically random things about Sarada’s sharingan. Let’s start with... What is the Sharingan?
Sharingan is developed when an Uchiha member experiences a powerful emotion (about a person close to them). During this emotional moment the brain releases a special form of chakra that affects the optic nerves and transforms the eye into the Sharingan.
(Credits to Hemanth Mothkuri on Quora!~)
Evolution
So. Her evolution of the Sharingan. From now, (ep 90) we still only had one tomoe. She should atleast have two, in my opinion. Too bad, though. Sasuke Uchiha, awakened double tomoe when he was fighting Haku. Would they be able to unlock their second tomoe when under stress, and saving someone they are really close to? Haku appeared episode nine from the original Naruto series, which is really fast for Sasuke to get double-tomoe. But then again, Sasuke unlocked his sharingan in a very young age. He unlocked second tomoe in his right eye first. Example:
Tumblr media
It is unclear when we see his left eye unlock it, but just know that it’s one eye first after another.
So basically, here’s a list when we see his Sharingan unlock.
One tomoe:
He unlocked during the Uchiha massacre.
Double tomoe:
On the Great Naruto Bridge, part I of Haku and Zabuza.
Three tomoe:
Fighting Naruto at the Final Valley of the End.
I’ve been noticing a pattern, here. You first unlock the Sharingan when experiencing a great and intense emotion. For Sarada, it was seeing her dad for the first time. The double tomoe, you unlock protecting someone close to you, or INTENSE training. Triple tomoe, you unlock fighting the person who was close to you.
Let’s compare this to Itachi.  When Team 2 was given the task of guarding the Fire Daimyō, the company was attacked by Obito. Tenma attacked Obito and was killed in the fight. This emotional moment caused Itachi to awaken his Sharingan. Credit to Henmath Mouthkiri on Quora. :)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This was on episode 453: The Pain of Living. It can also be retrieved in itachi Shinden: Book of Bright Light.  I’m not too sure on him getting his second tomoe, and third tomoe. But, we do know how he got his Mangekyo Sharingan. Probably, just witnessing Shisui's death to protect the village was traumatic enough for Itachi to awaken his Mangekyou. Itachi, the only person I know so far to manifest two tomoe in one go, was a deep thinker. The death of his teammates and his will to do something about it though his friends were already dead made him desperate. But his will against the desperation held on due to his inquisitive nature (by which he kept himself inside the desparation long enough to generate enough of the unique chakra) and he managed to unlock enough power for the two tomoe sharingan. It can be that this is how an Uchiha is able to contain and harness the power of the Sharingan. Credit to JNat on Animestackexhange :) Credit to Tehol Beddict on Quora, too!
All in all, Sarada will get double tomoe, soon. But don’t get your hopes high in case that doesn’t happen in the few next episodes.
Mangekyou Sharingan
How will Sarada Uchiha retrieve the Mangekyou Sharingan? It’s like experiencing unlocking the Sharingan but the trauma is 10x more. Sasuke unlocked Mangekyo Sharingan by witnessing Itachi’s death. Even though he didn’t murder him, Itachi died of tuberculosis or lung cancer. Same with Itachi, he witnessed Shisui’s suicide. Itachi was a deep thinker, so no wonder he’d get his double-tomoe in one go, and Mangekyou Sharingan. Itachi lost everyone, and so did Sasuke. Sasuke couldn’t get Mangekyou because of how young he was, and he would have that much chakra prepared for the doujutsu. Many theorists believe that Sarada will fight Boruto, I don’t think so. They don’t have a rivalry like Sasuke and Naruto. They have a protection relationship, and which is “I want to get stronger for I can protect you.” Either Sasuke or Sakura will die for Sarada, to get her MS. Naruto is out of the question, since he will be training Kawaki, he won’t be Sarada’s mentor. Please note, not every Uchiha needs to experience death, I want to see somethign creative and peaceful for Sarada to push aside all the hatred, but hey! This is just a theory. :) And, she’d just awaken it by strong feelings, like Obito. He didn’t lose anyone, but just his emotions.
Sasuke
First of all.. look at Boruto.
Tumblr media
Besides the fact that Boruto is fine ;) look at everything. Now, this is one of the most obvious theories.. but look.
Boruto has the following from his master, Sasuke..
Kusanagi
Cloak
Headband
Now, it would be reasonable if Sasuke gave Boruto his headband. Like in the Momoshiki Arc, I can see that. But his weapon? His cape? Hmm? Be reasonable, look. The sword he has had since a teen? His cloak that hides his arms, and his headband is ok. I personally, don’t think Sasuke will die. Kishi will lose about 80% of the fanbase if Sasuke dies. (i’d stay tho :) ). In my opinion, the flashforward is bait. I have some pictures on what Kishi has drewn himself for promotional pictures of Sarada grown up. She has an MS, if you were wondering. ;)
I couldn’t find much and think about the rest, but Sakura has a big way up ahead.
Sakura
Tumblr media
Most definitely. She will die in my opinion, for Sarada to move on. It’s not because I hate her, but this is one reason on how I imagine Sarada getting her Sharingan upgraded. Why, though?
Sakura is irrelevent in Boruto now. She isn’t a main character anymore, she doesn’t play a role.
We all know Sarada and Sakura’s relationship. Sakura even raised her by herself. Sakura is a amazing opportunity. Also, her death will not only be amazing for Sarada’s development.. but her relationship with Sasuke, too. Wouldn’t it be interesting to see Sarada start falling in the Curse of Hatred by that and Sasuke stepping in to help her not commit all the sins and mistakes he did? Or, what about Sarada accusing him o fhis own wife’s death and not being sad, or feel any emotion for it? Massive chances are at stake here by this single event, which is by a character we don’t use anymore. As much as I love Sakura, and would most likely cry to see her die, this is an amazing opportunity. I know, you’re sad too. Kishi claimed that in Boruto, no older gen characters are safe from death. He also claimed it will get a LOT darker, and may be no happy ending. Let’s continue on.
Finally, because of the cause of Sakura’s death, we could actually see her fighting again, some spotlight on her. She hasn’t gotten some lately, besides Sasori and Shin. She was used as a chakra batter for Obito, getting a single hit in Kaguya or bursting some Juubi fodder won’t count, let’s try to see something special for her, and only her. She had a big fighting will in part one, but now she’s just a housewife.
Overall, I see Sakura with the biggest potential of  her death. Sasuke is too important to die like that yet, but someone needs a boost for Sarada for her sweet, sweet, lovely, Uchiha porwerup. There are too many doors open for her death. There’s no risk involved, also.

Now, let’s see some pictures.
Kishimoto hints
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sasuke will take the ‘Jiraiya’ role, in that case, he’s too important to kill of like I’ve stated before.
However, while Jiraiya died around two thirds into the story, I simply can’t see Sasuke getting rid of, at least not that early. And its important to note here that if this were to happen, it would HAVE to happen somewhere relatively early, though we’ll get to that soon enough.
The fact is that he’s just too strong. A threat able to defeat someone of his level would be well beyond the main characters’ abilities as things are now and anywhere in the nearby future as a matter of fact. Furthermore if he were to be killed, that would cause all hell to break loose way too early. The logical next step after all is for Naruto himself to step in, as he’s the only one strong enough to take on someone at that level.
But then what? Have Naruto killed by the same threat? No…it does build this threat up a lot, but its basically the same thing twice. What about having Naruto defeat the threat? Again, no, that doesn’t work. It would make Sasuke’s death seem pointless and drive away attention from the new generation.
The point I’m getting at is that Sasuke’s death at any early point in the story would just be playing one’s cards too soon, especially at the sole benefit of Sarada. It leaves little leeway for the plot to move on and more so complicates things than builds them up.
All of this was retrieved from Ian Schumann on Quora, that’s why you see block-quotes around. Sasuke is too important to kill off.
Blindness
Now, if Sarada got MS, would she get blind? Well, Sarada has glasses, which can somewhat help her but I doubt it. Sasuke could either take her to where he kept his eyes. To swap them out, but she’d need MS that time. (Also supports how Sakura’s part would come in play). This is a short concept, because not much evidence will be supported but, will edit when I think of a good theory!~

He Wasn’t There (4/?)
https://fifi-uchiha.tumblr.com/post/170697283709/he-wasnt-there-3 (part 3) .........................................................................
“I know you are pretty injured but I will still tell you one thing about Sakura, Sasuke.” The Uchiha swallowed, sweat was dripping from his throat for right know… he had the feeling that Kakashi was going to say something that would wreck his world. . . . “Your wife no longer wants to be with you.” To say he was totally shocked would be a ridiculous understatement. More so, the black haired Uchiha widened his dark eyes in total disbelief, his mouth half parted and his brows raised in shock. Even though Uchiha Sasuke was probably the strongest shinobi in the world, right know he looked like a lost, innocent child who was painfully punched by reality. Horrible, horrible reality. Kakashi, however, looked at him with unforgiving, hard eyes, his posture showed no softness or anything else for that matter. No, the silver haired jonin was more than stern at the moment. He didn’t even think about making this easy for his former student. Sasuke didn’t know how long it took, but after several minutes, he felt like he could breathe again. With a face which was kind of void but still somewhat totally shocked -it was difficult to explain, really- the shinobi blinked, looking at his sensei with questioning eyes. “Where is she?”, his low voice asked filled with unspoken emotion. “What happened? Where are my wife and my daughter, Kakashi?” Impatiens and anger formed a dangerous mixture, something Sasuke hadn’t felt for too many years now for it was always peace and joy he was greeted with when he was with his family. But now… his heart was getting heavier with each passing second and to his dismay, it started to hurt. The jonin was a little startled, blinking in confusion when Sasuke talked like that. He didn’t act cold as he’d expect after he seemed to have ignored Naruto’s letter nor did he show anything else that would lead to the assumption that he’d know about Sakura’s situation. No… The Uchiha looked like he had no idea what was going on right now. “Didn’t you receive Naruto’s message?”, he asked suspiciously, his eyes slightly narrowed. “What message?”, Sasuke asked, his impatiens was laying thin. “Kakashi, what the hell is going on here? What happened during my absence, where is my family?” His last words were heavy with emotion even though his face wasn’t telling or showing much. “I found the source and finally completed my mission. The world is save and now I’m finally back. So please tell me where Sakura and Sarada are so I can go see them..!” It was hard to keep his composure and Sasuke clenched his hands into fists to calm down. “And what do you mean Sakura doesn’t want to be my wife anymore?” This was ridiculous. She loved him with every cell, with every ounce of her very being, so why should his pink haired comrade suddenly want a divorce? Sure, Sasuke was by far not a perfect man. He made mistakes that were unforgivable, he became a traitor, he hurt her horribly… But Sakura had long forgiven him and made him understand that her love was unconditionally. If there is one thing in this world Sasuke knew for sure then it was that Uchiha Sakura loved him with all of her heart. When they were genin, when they were enemies and when he came back- She would always love him, she would never leave him. Sakura had promised him so. She promised to always be with him so many times… That’s why this had to be a bad, idiotic joke. “You really have no idea, do you?”, Kakashi finally understood when his look became more understanding… softer even. End even if Sasuke held a deep connection with his sensei, he felt a strange impulse of… angst. Angst, frustration, impatiens and anger. “Where is she, Kakashi?”, he demanded, his voice loud with demand and his fear grew even more when his silver haired sensei closed his eyes. “I am in no position to tell you. As I said, Sakura does not want to be with you any longer.” Sasuke’s eyes twitched and his jaw hardened, his fury almost awakened his dou-jutsu. “Kakashi, this is ridiculous. Tell me where my family is so I can see my daughter and talk to my wife!” His thoughts were filled with images from Sakura. What the hell happened? Why did she move out? Why didn’t she want to be with him? Had she finally given up on him after so long? “I will let Sakura know you’re here. I don’t think it would be a problem if you saw Sarada today for she… she’ll want to ask you one or two things.” “But… Kakashi-” “Sasuke, I know that you really seem… innocent. I know you didn’t make a mistake.” It appeared that he never got those messages and thus he… didn’t know about Sakura. “But I really can’t tell you. It’s not my job to do so and I promised her to keep my mouth shut. Your wife went through something indescribably traumatizing and I am not going to betray her and throw her trust in me away just so you can see her a few days earlier.”, he deadpanned, sounding determined as ever. Sasuke’s heart was beating like crazy, the forceful beating almost broke his ribs. Just… what happened to Sakura?! Was she sick? Did she lose too many patients? Did she lose her healing abilities? Had something happened to Sarada? Did her parents die?! Just what could happen to the most powerful woman in the world, dammit?! “Now, if you’ll excuse me. I really need to go.”, the jonin said, sounding calm but loaded. “You should go to Naruto. He’ll help you with Sarada. I’m sure you won’t have problems to see her today, Sasuke.” No more words were spoken when the sixth hokage suddenly disappeared, leaving the black haired Uchiha back who was, after so many years… completely lost. “Sakura...” He wasted no time and turned around, making sure to walk as fast as possible to see Naruto, knowing that his idiotic best friend would be able to help him understand everything… . . . “You have got to be kidding me, dattebayo...” To say that Naruto was surprised would be one hell of an understatement. Naruto just left his office and without even noticing his chakra, Sasuke appeared right in front of him, his eyes demanding and full of unspoken questions. “What the fuck..?”, the seventh hokage muttered under shock, his blue eyes wide in surprise. “Are… Are you real or have I gone totally insane now?” “Hn. You’re not more insane than last time I saw you, usuratonkachi.” Immediately, Naruto’s face fell, the look in his eyes were more than annoyed. “Oh yeah. It really is you, dattebayo.”, Naruto muttered. “And what the hell teme, you’re injured! Come on, you need a medic-” “Where is Sakura, Naruto.”, Sasuke just interrupted, not caring about his injuries at all. “Where is she? And Sarada, why aren’t my wife and my daughter at home?” Due to the fact that his best friend kind of sounded harsh and demanding, the hokage assumed that Sasuke already talked to Kakashi Sensei about the fact that his family does no longer live in their house. Great. How the hell was he gonna explain to him that Sakura left him without mentioning the actual reason? Sakura-chan asked him not to tell anybody -not even Sasuke- about her horrible fight and the blonde shinobi promised her to keep his mouth shut about it. Yeah. But in the same time, Sasuke would rip his head off for not telling him. Gosh, having his two best friends married really was a pain in the ass sometimes, dattebayo! “Something happened, Sasuke. And I’m afraid I can’t tell you everything, but...” Sasukes eyes twitched, however, he waited for his friend to finish his sentence. “Sakura-chan needed you. A few weeks ago, she suffered from one certain… incident and she needed you more than anyone or anything else. But you weren’t there.” Sasuke’s heart was pounding in his ears for Kakashi also mentioned something horrible that his wife had to go through. But what?! What the fucking hell happened?! “Naruto, tell me what was going on while I was gone.”, the Uchiha barked almost too harshly. “You know I can’t break my promise. This is Sakura-chan’s personal secret and If she doesn’t want anyone to find out, I’m gonna respect her decision, dattebayo.” “She is. My wife.”, Sasuke stressed through gritted teeth. “I have the right to know, Naruto. And I’m starting to freak out because-” “Don’t you give me that crap, Sasuke! I sent you… like… a gojillion messages and I never got a fucking answer from you! So cut the crap and-” “WHAT messages?!”, Sasuke finally snapped. “Kakashi told me about it and I can only repeat myself. I did NOT receive one single letter. Not one. I just finished the mission and came home only to find out that neither my wife nor my daughter were waiting for me to come back for fucking good!” It hurt the Uchiha deeply. Sarada and Sakura were his family and knowing that they’d always wait for him to return made him feel that incredible, indescribable joy he felt when he was a child. Their safety and their love pushed him and gave him almost too much hope, really. And now… his whole life seemed to slowly fall apart. “Where are they, Naruto? I have to see them right now, I have to know what happened to Sakura.” “I’m sorry. But you need to wait until tomorrow, then I’ll ask Sakura-chan if she’s ready to face you.” Something about those words made his insides burn with hot fury for Sakura never needed to be ‘asked’ if she wanted to see him. In love or not, their relationship had always been uncomplicated and straight forward in that aspect and his wife never needed time to think about meeting him. Sakura had always been spontaneous and there was never a time where she wouldn’t want to see him, especially not after they’ve married. “Papa..?” Both, Naruto and Sasuke were so engrossed with their conversation that the most powerful shinobi hadn’t noticed the presence of a 14 year old, black haired girl with shoulder-length hair and midnight black eyes which were sparkling darkly behind her red glasses. For a moment, Sasuke thought his heart stopped. Seeing his beloved daughter after two long years, he couldn’t help the yearning, the desire to finally be with his family and actually be a father to Sarada. She grew a few inches, he immediately noticed. Her big, back eyes resembled Sakura’s even more and her hair already reached her shoulders. Of course, red was still her favorite color for she wore a blood red, high collared neck-holder with tight leggings that barely reached her knee. She looked beautiful. His daughter may had dark hair and eyes like him, but her insane beauty was a gift she got from her annoying mother and Sasuke… Couldn’t help but almost feel weak. He missed her. He missed his daughter so much. “Sarada..?” Unlike their first encounter three years ago, Sarada looked at him with strong, almost unforgiving eyes. She showed no tears, no fear or… joy whatsoever. This time it was the older Uchiha who felt literal anxiety even though he hardly showed it. This time… Sasuke was the one who barely could his flickering sharingan under control because yes, he loved his family  more than everything in this godforsaken world. “What are you doing here?” Her soft voice was calm but Sasuke, who slightly widened his eyes, could hear the light tremble in her words. Sure, Sarada didn’t want to show him any emotion because dammit, she had never been so angry, so… disappointed. Never in her life would Sarada have guessed that it would come to a situation like this. “I’m home, Sarada.”, Sasuke simply said, making one step, however, the Uchiha didn’t push her or immediately hugged her, knowing that she would burst if he did that. He acted calmly, closing the distance very slowly so Sarada wouldn’t notice and immediately run away. To think that this girl actually hugs him like crazy after his missions… It was almost unreal to Sasuke. “I can see that.”, his daughter spat harshly, not sounding pleased or happy at all. “Why? Why now?” Her demand was harsh and again, unforgiving and Sasuke wondered again… What the goddamned hell happened while he was gone?! “My mission is over.”, he simply answered, making another step towards her much smaller form, his black eyes fixating her calmly. “So that’s it, huh? That’s why you’re back?”, Sarada asked bitterly, sounding even more disappointed. “So my mother really wasn’t enough for you to return.” “Sarada-” “Because that’s how it always works, right?”, she just continued without giving her father the time to explain. Why did she inherit all his negative trades, for god’s sake? “You left when I was five and since then… Mama lives like a single mother. I know we settled things three years ago and I actually understood you because I would do the same. I would leave Mama and you forever if it means I could protect you.” Something in him rotated and the Uchiha swallowed thickly as he watched his calm but infuriated daughter throwing him a dirty, almost disgusted look. “But I would never forget what’s most important, Papa. I would return to you in a heartbeat if someone told me that you’re hurt. I… would never cut my ties to handle a mission, I would never detach myself from the people who love mé. Because that’s what it means to love.” Her eyes became even more bitter, sadder and absolutely shattered. “That’s what means to be a family!” It was the way her father looked at her that somehow reduced her fury a little. He didn’t say anything, he didn’t look angry, he didn’t really do much but look at her with his probing, calm eyes, managing to… get through her. That was always something only her father could do. Looking at her and calming her down even if she was boiling with fury… And when Sasuke saw tears threatening her eyes, he simple raised his lone hand and stood right where he was, knowing exactly that she was incredibly sad and broken. Too many emotions were swimming in Sarada’s eyes who forced herself to stay where she was, to not show any weakness to her father. She looked like she was refusing him, standing there for three seconds… But as Sasuke predicted, she lost and broke her invisible wall. Sarada ran into his arms and clawed his shirt, hugging him with burning tears leaving her eyes as Sasuke put his hand around her tiny form and simply embraced her. It appears that, no matter how angry and how disappointed she was at him… Sarada was still his daughter and she missed her dad so much over the past two years and right now where he suddenly came back, she remembered that. She remembered how much she actually missed, how much she needed him. Sasuke looked absolutely shattered when the 14 year old started sobbing, quietly crying in her fathers arms who just held her without saying anything. Watching father and daughter finally reunited, a small smile touched Naruto’s lips who was more than relieved that Sarada wasn’t as cold towards her dad as she actually wanted to be because not only was she his daughter, the young girl was still a child. A child who missed her father terribly and felt deep relief seeing him again after such a long time. “I missed you.”, Sasuke calmly admitted, running his fingers through his daughters soft hair. “Very much, Sarada.” “And we missed you!”, she shouted in his embrace, sounding almost accusing. “But why didn’t you return, Papa?!”, the crying girl demanded, refusing to look him in the eye. It was so painfully obvious that Sarada was truly a mixture between her parents, really. “Do you know how terrible Mama feels?! After her fight with that guy… she was devastated and she still IS! And you just didn’t come back! She is your wife, Papa, so why didn’t you forget that stupid mission and came back when Uncle Naruto sent you all those messages?!” His hand touched her shoulder and Sasuke pushed her a little back so he could look at her straight in the eye, the look in his orbs full of honesty and assurance. “Had I known that someone threatened any of you, I would’ve come in a heartbeat.”, he declared with a soft but strong voice, the anger in his heart was hot and huge. Just what happened to Sakura, he couldn’t even begin to understand. Who the hell dared hurting her, who in the would could be that fucking strong?! “I didn’t receive a letter. Not one. I would never stay away if I knew that your mother wwas in danger nor will that person who hurt her live long enough to regret whatever he did.” Something dark and violent shook in his deep, soft voice which Naruto knew too well. “Where is she, Sarada? I need to talk to your mother and-” “Mama… doesn’t want me to tell anyone where we live.”, the Uchiha replied sadly. “She said that everyone she trusts could know… and when I asked about you, she asked me to not involve you until she’s ready, Papa. I’m sorry, but...” Sasuke felt a burning pang in his chest because right now, he finally understood that Sakura officially didn’t want to have anything to do with him anymore. She really didn’t want him to know where she was and the black haired Uchiha felt so unbelievably disappointed in himself… As if he’d lost the most important fight in his life. As if he just lost one part of himself, really… “She knows you’re back. Mama sent me, she wanted us to spend time together.” It appeared that his wife wanted her daughter and husband -yes, he still considered himself as her husband, of course- to be together even if she was somewhat angry at him. But Sasuke wouldn’t expect anything different from her. Sakura Uchiha was not the type of woman who would want her child to chose a side, the beautiful medic always wanted for Sarada to have both, mother and father in her life. “You two should just spend a little time together. I’m sure Sakura-chan will be ready to face you soon but pushing her won’t do any good, dattebayo.” Sasuke’s whole body was burning, he just wanted to refuse and look for Sakura. Whatever happened obviously changed her and Sasuke had the urge to go to her so he could ask how that fucking bastard hurt her, what actually changed her so much. The only person she trusted with all of her heart was himself. Sure, she trusted Naruto, Kakashi and Ino, too but she hated showing weakness, she hated crying and after their mirage, she showed how much she trusted him. Sasuke didn’t want her to be alone and instead wanted her to trust him like she always did. She was not the type to deal with a problem all by herself, his wife was that kind of woman who needed her husband during those times. But he couldn’t force her. If he liked it or not, Sasuke didn’t have a choice but accepting Sakura’s decision and finally closed his eyes, nodding understandingly. “So be it then.”, he finally gave in. “I will give her three days, Naruto. Three days. She will face me or I will look for her, Naruto.” His orbs were promising, serious, almost threatening. “And I will find her.”, he swore darkly, his fear about Sakura’s wellbeing took the better of him. “Tell her I said that, Naruto.” For Sarada’s sake, Sasuke kept still afterwards for Naruto had an idea what he was gonna say. The hokage nodded and just watched father and daughter leave his office and even if the situation right now was damn horrible… Naruto was happy that Sasuke was finally back for good. And Sarada -even if she had been so angry and disappointed in him- was relieved about the fact that her papa didn’t come back because he did not receive the letters. He would’ve come back immediately, had he known about her mothers last fight. Sasuke Uchiha would murder the one in cold blood after he’d find out what happened to his wife. And Naruto wondered… How the hell it was possible that none of his messages reached the Uchiha for something like that had never happened before..? . . . ..............…..............................….………...…......…...…….. ....….….….….…..…....….…....…..….....….....…..….……………. Soooo, I guess the story is almost over. Like I said, I am a SasuSaku fan and I would never make Sasuke treating Sakura like shit for I’m trying to not make them OOC as much as possible lol I mean, come on. Sasuke would murder everyone who dared touching her in the wrong way. Okay, I don’t want to talk too much :D I hope you liked it and I want to thank you for your kind reviews ^,^ with love fifi-uchiha part 5: https://fifi-uchiha.tumblr.com/post/171810771719/he-wasnt-there-5

“How could I ever forget about you?” for BoruSara!
@kairi-chan hope you like this. I wrote this on my phone since my PC is out of order right now and it’s really difficult to change fonts out here but I gave my best. Post-Mujina arc but pre-Ao arc. Inspired by Detective Conan movie : Captured In Her Eyes. Angst alert.…..
LOST IN HER MEMORIES
Boruto knew that ninjas faced psychological traumas pretty frequently. All around the village, he would come across ninjas of his parents’ generation or before theirs, most of them with at least some degree of PTSD, depression, suicidal tendencies or other ranges of traumatised behaviour. He knew that Aunt Sakura’s pioneering work had reduced the number of those afflicted with these kinds of conditions. Heck, even his own generation is grateful to her. Thanks to her, Sumire is now out of her traumatised past and living a genuinely happy and safe life.
But as he watches a teary eyed Aunt Sakura sit down beside Sarada’s hospital bed and clasp one of her daughter’s hand shakily with one of her own, an abysmal feeling of drowning in a pitch black ocean engulfs Boruto.
Sarada had been sent on a reporting mission with Aunt Shizune to the Land of Fire’s Capital city, the home of the Fire Daimyou as well as political and administrative centre. It was a relatively safe and easy B-rank mission really and Boruto had actually handed over a scroll full of messages and ninja souvenirs from Konoha to be delivered to Tentou while she was there. After all, Sarada had some free time while Aunt Shizune delivered general reports from the Hokage to the Daimyo. Boruto himself was going on a short training-cum-research mission with Uncle Sasuke aound the same time and Mitsuki was taking advantage of the absence of his two teammates to go off for a short visit back home to Oto.
So when the extremely urgent messenger hawk from his father was sent to Uncle Sasuke in the middle of nowhere summoning them back home immediately, Boruto was sure something terrible had happened. But never in a million years had he thought he would come across Aunt Shizune at the brink of death in the operation theatre and unconscious but otherwise unhurt Sarada in a hospital room.
Mitsuki’s dishevelled form had stood there beside Sarada’s bed and looked stonily at her unconscious form. He had rushed back to Konoha upon receiving an alert from Konohamaru-Sensei. Uncle Sasuke had gone to the Hokage’s office and Chocho had hovered around, grimly ignoring both her food and the two boys, her eyes fixed on her unconscious best friend. The lights over the door of the operation theatre had gone off. Great Grandma Tsunade, Aunt Sakura and Aunt Ino were successful in removing the poison from Aunt Shizune’s body but her life still hung on a tightrope. There was a 50:50 chance that they could loose her.
Boruto, though filthy and covered in grime from his mission and rushing back home, had refused to leave Sarada’s side. From what he gleaned from the heated whispers back at his father’s office between his father, mentor, Big Bro Konohamaru, Uncle Shikamaru and Uncle Sai, Kara had a hand behind this. What they wanted was unknown but a top secret researcher had been murdered by one of their Outers in the capital. Aunt Shizune who was in the vicinity had tried to apprehend the culprit but instead was outclassed and brutally defeated and left near death. Sarada who had intervened in the fight with her sharingan activated ended up having the memory of the traumatic event burned into her brains. A permanent memory of a bloody Shizune, the woman who was like an aunt to her and had a major role in raising her in her lonely childhood, was enough to send Sarada awakening all of her tomoes in a go, straight from one tomoe to three. Sarada had fainted while cradling Shizune by the time Tentou could reach there with help. The culprit had already sustained good damage at both Aunt Shizune’s and Sarada’s hands and had escaped. The kunouichi duo were immediately sent back to Konoha the moment Shizune’s condition stabilised a bit.
What happened to Aunt Shizune was shocking but what followed next felt as though he was stabbed by a hundred kunais at the same time. He had offered to watch over Sarada while Aunt Sakura was in the operation theatre and Uncle Sasuke was in his dad’s office. Mitsuki had arrived soon afterwards followed by Chocho. All they could now was to wait for Sarada to wake up.
It was several hours before a tired and dozing Boruto heard shuffling and a groan from right beside him. He whipped up immediately from his seat. Sarada had woken up. Her dark eyes fluttered open. They were cloudy and confused as they looked around the room. She pushed herself up slowly.
“Hey! You scared us, you know-ttebasa!” Boruto grinned as he poured out water into a glass and held it out to her. “Sarada!” A joint cry of joy and relief came from Mitsuki and Chocho from where the sofa stood at the end of the room. Sarada looked at the glass Boruto held out in confusion and slowly looked up to meet his eyes.
Boruto immediately felt that something was not right. It was the way she was looking at him. Usually a single look was enough to let him know everything about her, and her about him. Her eyes always had a mix of warmth and recognition for him. With, he daresay….no. But right now, the way she was looking at him was so not right. So unfamiliar. She had never looked at him like this. With so much confusion. With acknowledgement but with so much….lack of recognition.
Boruto felt his grin and the joyful bubble in his stomach fading away. Chocho threw herself at a startled Sarada and engulfed her into a hug and began sobbing uncontrollably.
“I am glad that you’re okay!” Chocho choked out, still embracing Sarada. Sarada’s eyes followed her embracer in confusion while awkwardly returning the hug. Her eyes then landed on the smiling blue-haired boy in further confusion and then moved on back to Boruto who was still holding out the glass of water.
As Chocho let go of her, she bent her head down and scrunched up her face as though she was trying to remember something really hard but was unable to. She looked up at the trio again and frowned gently.
“I am sorry but…I don’t think I know you guys.”
Mitsuki and Chocho exchanged baffled looks. Boruto felt his body stiffen and his gut felt as though it had been punched really hard. As Sarada’s confused eyes met his shocked ones, he clawed internally at the lack of recognition in her eyes. He couldn’t help remember something she had said on his seventh birthday party, the first of the family events nearly forgotten by his overworked Dad, back when they were still not in Academy and were in each other’s company everyday.
“How could I forget ever about you?”
The next few hours flew in a flurry. Aunt Sakura. Mitsuki. Chocho. Uncle Sasuke. Dad. Big Bro Konohamaru. Reminders. Questions. Introductions. Promptings. Blood tests for memory erasing drugs. A CT scan for brain damage. Then ultimately, a psychological evaluation. By the end of it, he had a concrete answer to his question from Aunt Sakura.
Psychological Trauma-Induced Retrograde Amnesia.

OKAY so like Sarada’s story of being disillusioned from her roots as one of the last living Uchiha and her distant relationship with her father could totally still work without making Sasuke a deadbeat.
Like I’m sorry I just cannot for a second believe that Sasuke would just up and abandon his family like that. Sasuke saw anything attached to his family as something sacred and precious and it’s just completely OOC for him to leave Sarada during her childhood. But that being said, Sasuke is still a deeply flawed man and a deeply traumatized man, and a lot of that trauma is tied to his family.
He probably wants to share much about his clan history and culture with his daughter, and it’s a very messy and bloody one and I think he would probably have a gut instinct to protect her from that as much as he can. He’s probably also scared how his past who changed how she saw him. It’s very clear that Sasuke loves his daughter, but he has a hard time being emotionally available with the people he loves, so instead of Sasuke being physically distant for her whole life, you could make him emotionally distant and closed off. Not so much to the point of abuse, but so Sarada feel like she doesn’t really knows who he is.
Like isn’t that the whole arc that Sasuke and Sarada are going through with their relationship, Sasuke learning to share parts of himself and his history with her. Learning to be a more emotionally involved person and changing for the better for his family. None of that requires Sasuke to be absent (and absent to the point of him FORGETTING WHAT SHE LOOKS LIKE) just flawed and traumatized lmao
I just wished they actually built off Sasuke’s character and explored what his adulthood would be like after he can finally laid his families ghosts to rest, instead of just butchering his character :(

Helloooooo, how are you ? O/ I want to ask you something : WHY SAKURA HAS ONLY ONE KID ???????? I mean, Sasuke is the last Uchiha, so, he is supposed to rebuild his clan or something like that, no ? I thought ( and hoped) that they will have more than 3 kids...but no, there is only Sarada, :o Do you think that there is a possibilty that Sakura will be pregnant again ? And sorry for my English ;)
Hi, I think that with the constant trips and missions that Sasuke has had, have not been able to enlarge the family and we must not forget that Sarada was very small when he began to travel.
And about to the idea of rebuilding the clan, more than anything, he refers to honor and clean the Uchiha surname after what happened in the massacre, It should be remembered that at that time he only thought of revenge for fulfill that goal. But as now his priorities have changed, because revive a clan doesn’t mean to procreate and have many children, now Sasuke doesn’t want that Sarada to go through the traumatic situation that he lived in his childhood, regarding the curse of hatred and the sharingan. For that reason, he feels remorseful to believe that hiding the origin of his long-traveling mission to his daughter would be beneficial, because he didn’t want to cause unnecessary problems to her.
In this case, the existence of Sarada implies the true rebirth of the Uchiha clan, for her ideals and for being raised in an environment where love goes beyond the adverse like hate. And for me it would be great if Sakura were pregnant again, that if Sasuke is home more often.

** again, let's assume. Let's assume despite Boruto and Sasuke succeeding in keeping young Naruto safe from Urashiki, Boruto gets injuries brought about by Naruto's nine-tails power leaking out from him. And now they head back to the present.
"You need to rest. For a week. No missions for you, Boruto," Sakura explains as she wraps the last of what was left of the bandages with the little boy's fingers.
"But Aunt Sakura—"
"No trainings," She looked towards her husband Sasuke this time, telling him with her green eyes to not bother bringing Boruto along any time this week. "And if you could also spare some time to tell me and Sarada what took place; she's been dying to hear what life was like during the past, but she wanted to hear it from you,"
"Why would she want to hear it from me? I wasn't there,"
"Anata, you just came back from it," She smiled, "And I wonder about what you've seen, how you saw all of us without you."
Sasuke made a sigh before standing up from the chair beside Boruto's bed. "Alright. I'll tell you, Sakura."
While Sasuke made his way out of the hospital room, Sakura finally finished getting Boruto's wounds dressed and bandaged well. "Gosh. The young Naruto sure did go crazy on you, huh?"
"Well, yeah," Boruto laughed while scratching his head, "Touchan was really struggling to control that power, so I kinda understand," even if he was completely traumatized with what happened.
"So how did it go? I mean, you did succeed, but how did he respond?"
"Well..." The young blonde looked towards the window; the blue sky made him recall how bright and blue his father's eyes were back in the day. Until it turned crimson red...
Boruto turned away, sadness filling his heart. It was going to take some time to heal, but he knew he had to cling onto the fact that the past and the present are two different things.
Touchan loves me.
Touchan loves me.
Touchan will never hurt me.
He looked towards the window once more. "He...was crying,"
Sakura raised a brow. "And?"
"He kept saying 'sorry', as though he did something really wrong that it cost his life." Boruto added, "Sasuke-san and I thought...maybe he somehow figured out that we were both from the future, and that I was his son. That, I don't know. But I felt like he did,"
Sakura was silent, but Boruto knew she was attentively listening. So he went on.
"Before we left, and before we erased his memories he thanked me. He said I was brave. I was smart, someone who was very far off from who he was. Touchan was cool being a loser, actually." Boruto laughed as he recalled the last of what would finally be erased to oblivion forever.
"That's really one story I'd like to hear more of, Boruto," Sakura grinned as she got up and fixed the IV, "Anyway, your dad knows of what happened, and he's on his way with your mom to visit you. You can tell him more of who he is and how he was when you came, I'm sure he's excited to know how you saw his younger self,"
"Hah, I know he is!" Boruto chuckled as he waved good-bye to Sakura. Moments later, Naruto arrived with a huge bag of what seemed like it was filled with a feast. The moment Boruto met his father's weary eyes, the thought of them turning red came swiftly to his head.
"Oi, are you okay?" Naruto rushed to his side, but his son just waved his hand before looking up to him with a smile.
"Geez, I'm fine, I'm fine, 'ttebasa!" He said. "Where's Kaachan?"
"She had to bring Hima to Aunt Hanabi, they're going to train together," Naruto placed the bag on the table and sat on the vacant chair. "Boy did I do a pretty big damage on you,"
"Tch, it's nothing,"
"That's not 'nothing', Boruto. You just dealt with a young me who was not even close to controlling Kurama's power," He shrugged, crossing his arms. "So...how was I? How did you deal with it?"
Boruto thought of that. He didn't want to dwell on his father's violent side that caused him so much trauma; even if he knew Naruto does not have a tinge of memory from that past, Boruto decided to keep the burden on himself and not add up to the pile of concerns his father had. He's got the whole village to think about everyday, why waste time thinking about something that never happened for him, anyway?
"You were what other people said you were back then," Boruto laughed, "A loser who never knew how to give up. We kind of worked on something, we trained a lot with your master Jiraiya, and we learned how to sync our energies together." He went on talking about the fun times they spent, about how his Hinata was very timid and of how Sakura was immensely scary, of how Sasuke wasn't around, of how he had a brief moment with Neji, but he never dared mentioned how his father attacked him.
"You're purposely leaving out things, 'ya know."
"Huh?" Boruto looked at Naruto, whose fists were clenched and pulling against his dark pants. He was sad.
"Boruto... I know what happened," He tearfully said, "Not that I remember, but Kurama's thoughts are slightly intertwined with mine. Ero-sennin might have not anticipated that once I've finally gained full control over the Nine-Tails' chakra."
"You...you know?" Boruto gasped. He was dumbfounded. If that's true, that that only means he's been carrying those memories with him this entire time.
"I do not know how you arrived back then, nor how you left. But the only thing I could remember was that I was beating my own reflection. A terrified one. It appeared as a nightmare ever since I was young,"
"Touchan..."
"I kind of outgrew that dream after quite some time. And now that I see you... I realize it was my fault. There's no other person in Konoha twenty years back who could do that much damage to a person's body. It happened. It was real,"
It was real.
Boruto's thoughts sent him back to when his father prawled like a demon, his back arched, his eyes totally red, his blonde, fiery hair a mess, his nails long and sharp, ready to shred flesh any time.
"I'm sorry," Naruto bowed his head in shame. "I tried to kill you back then... I know deep in my heart I didn't mean to, but I've hurt you. I didn't want to, I would never."
Naruto slowly reached for his son's right hand, but Boruto, being clouded with the thought of his father's fox claws scathing his skin, he pulled away. Naruto frowned.
"I.." He sighed, "I understand if you're disappointed,"
"No! Touchan, it's not like that," His bandaged arm reached for his father's bandaged one. And upon holding his father's hand, the gruesome thought was replaced with hope, the memory of them training for their energies to sync and blend came in. A sense of unity and harmony dwelt in that brief moment, erasing all that caused Boruto anxiety.
That's right. He thought to himself.
My father is not a monster.
JUST A THOUGHT
what if at the end of the arc (assuming they had a lot of mishaps and interactions with everybody from the past and it might affect the future), Sasuke and/or Jiraiya finds a way to erase the memories of everybody (since the time Sasuke and Boruto arrived) as though nothing happened...
...but misses out erasing that of Kurama's.
