sorry if you've already mentioned but what (re?)ignited your love of comics/x-men/cherik? curious because there are so many different adaptations of them

i think im gonna speak for a few (or a lot of) people when i say that TL;DR the wolverine x deadpool movie that came out this summer is what pulled me back into comics and i COULD leave it there but i will go into excruciating and unnecessary detail instead because i love an origin story and i love oversharing.

ironically (and probably commonly), growing up i was more of an avengers kid. Kinda. Loosely <- binge watched the cartoons and movies and read copious amounts of comics and fics and i am hoarding fanart in my old dresser as we speak ok 'loosely' is a modest lie.

embarrassingly i remember getting into discus cause of captain america LMAO so yeah needless to say i was a Humble Fan- me joining my school's comic class/club didnt help either (shoutout to my teach from that she was the realest one out there for. A Multitude of reasons). she definitely is was inspires me to even draw still and make comics and i often think bout the tips i learned from her class tbh she was great

back to the movies t and comics tho, i got into em because my brother would offer to take me and that's how we'd hang out (i rarely saw movies in theaters and i even more rarely went anywhere as a teenager. still kinda like that today tbh ooops) and yk. it just snowballed after that.

my brother and i have always liked comics- he just more than me for a while (though he still very much loves comics and As We Know From My Posts we still talk about them whenever i see him To An Exhausting Degree)

durin then i was really into stony and i have a few surviving doodles i made but those are between me and god. and anyone who asks tbh LOL

as a kid i only remember seeing the 'perfection' scene between erik and raven in first class while i was channel surfing. pretty sure i changed the channel after seeing mystique naked cause i was scared my parents would get mad at me if they caught me watching it LOL

BUT MOVING ON As A Kid i think it's also natural you'll sometimes watch 92 if it's on And I Did though evidently it didn't stick too hard (i do remember really liking beast and gambit though.... still do really): my knowledge of x-men was. INCREDIBLY sparse. like diabolically so so i didnt have too much expectations (aside from the fact i vaguely liked deadpool beforehand).

tbh i dont know why my bro never took me to see any of the x-men movies. it's not like he doesn't Also like x-men (90% sure nightcrawler's his favorite but my brother will be caught dead saying he has absolute favorites like that)- he owns a bitch load of deadpool comics/omnibus sets too (of which ive read over the years and reread this year) but Shrug moving on

Much Like Most Of The Internet i fell down the rabbit hole that way. i have some doodles i made a couple days after seeing WxDP that i now have an excuse to throw at all of you Look And Perceive

and so. As I Do. i got curious and told myself i'd binge watch all the x-men movies the week before i went back to school And Then I Did ft. My Brother Sometimes and then i said i'd binge watch all of '92 and And I Did That ft. My Brother Sometimes But Less So and now we're here. currently watching Evolution...

once i got to school i realized i lived near a comic shop and started getting into the comics that way (the first ones i got since going down this rabbit hole was Magneto Was Right!, The Resurrection of Magneto, and The Trial of Magneto. if you were curious !!!!! clearly i didnt care too much about context i just needed to see My Guy jelvejlkvj i have no regrets and Evidently ive read more since)

i'm pretty sure what dragged me into cherik specifically was the fact i saw a clip of The Famous ending to 92 where erik's aghast at the notion jean even has to question his love for charles. i think that was what officially had me refocus my lens on them: not a single poolverine thought after that LOL (all the cherik posting i saw on twitter definitely helped too but that was the nail in the coffin for any other interests i had: i was locked into cherik and x-men in general now)

that clip specifically, i was surprised at the fact they- frequently even- have the x-men franchise say erik loves charles and vice versa so bluntly. even if it's not meant to be romantic, i fear im just a fan of how casually the word's thrown around with them two and i got tender bout it all. Then Yk. i just live for the drama. the hilarity even. the sincerity .... they make me sick if i think of them too long so im gonna end it here

before i go tho ironically enough, the first x-men issue i owned was This one (story a this is that while stuck in some wacko dimension charles accidentally gets himself trapped in logan's mind while utilizing his astral projection. if you were curious). pretty sure i got it for free with another comic set i got years ago since our old comic shop loved to do that, but it's poetic aint it. maybe ill doodle something referencing it..

i should probably look into finishing this arc someday im Dummy curious to even know how it started and how it ends.....

Yeah, sorry about that! I've been meaning to make a master post, but I'm just lacking the time to do so right now X) Almost all of them can be seen under the tag "Hazbin hotel comic". There's a few asks here and there and some other work, but all the main story beats are there.

Technically, the very very first comic I ever drew is here (Sorry in advance about the old art). Technically, it's the second narratively.

The first narrative beat is here, just called Murder Husbands Partners

After those two, its the short "Kitchen Nightmares"

Then we have Interrogation: Part I and Part II

Followed by the first flashback arc, Shaping up and Shipping out (the origins of Al and Vox's partnership): Part I, Part II , Part III

Then, there's Cats, Dogs, and Wild Things: Part I, Part II, and Part III (Parts I and II are flashbacks)

Then we get to the "Something Wicked This Way Comes" arc: Part I, Part II, Part III, Part IV, and Part V.

You helped me feel more confident in my otherwise weird fixation <3 So, for my birthday I thought I'd try and make up a little drawing challenge for anyone who wants to give it a try... There are soo many talented artists on this site (and in this fandom)

If you're in the RainCode community you can target anyone, but as you know, my main targets are Yuma and Makoto. If they're also your faves and who you decide to use, that will make me extra happy!

Some tips for anyone new to drawing a sick day scenario art. A few things that make it look convincing are the following:

Pajamas or Loungewear

Messy Bed Hair

Fever flushed face w sweat or at least a red nose

Tired Eye bags

Shivery body

Ice Pack or a Compress on the head

Thermometer sticking from their mouth

LOTS OF BLANKETS

Tissues or medicine surrounding them

Tea or Soup (or both)

Those are just to name some from the top of my head. If you'd like some pointers on how to make a character look ill, check out my Fever Coloring Guide. This is for digital artists but traditional artists can try it too!

You can add injury or angst to the scene but I'd like illness to be the main focus of it.

The scene can be anything you want to, it can be fluffy and wholesome (with a caretaker) it can be angsty, or it can be silly. Its all up to you! Do it for the sake of fluff! Caretaking scenes are the best for any kind of relationship >w<

Either way, have fun with it!! I look forward to see what people make if they decide to give it a try! It doesn't even have to be a full on picture! Doodles and sketches are fine too! Just show me something >w<

As for that love advice you're asking for... you're crazy. You're literally crazy (;¬_¬). Like, come on. Just have your manager stalk them down. I'm sure it's not something uncommon in the industry. If anything, find a big event that they'll be walking. Even if they're a model that "doesn't do many shoots" surely you'll find them eventually. I'm kidding on the stalking part, by the way.

I read the added part on the back of the envelope that you had me as well, and honestly, if they like Ada, GO BOND. Unless you want nothing to happen, then keep on going with your day-to-day. "I had to get them because of another shoot, and I just ended up keeping them on instead of taking them out." She raises a brow at you. "I'm glad you decided to dress up today."

"Is it just us?"

"Every year, sweetheart."

You grab her arm, grinning ear to ear as she rolls her eyes.

Hey! I love your art so much and was wondering what brushes and/or art programs you use, I'm an artist myself and am just genuinely curious. Sorry if this is a strange ask or anything... I don't use or get on Tumblr too often. Thanks for reading this ask and have a good day/night. (This is my first ask to anyone I think)

hey!!! i use Paint Tool SAI 2!

as of the moment (which means i constantly change it) here is my main doodling/sketching/lineart brush:

my coloring brush: any hard edged basic brush will do, you can also use the bucket tool or the lasso tool, it's simply for coloring

my blushing brush: i blend this brush out by switching to transparency (making it an eraser) and lightly tapping the outside of the paint! (sai users, do this by pressing C on your keyboard. lifesaver been using this shortcut for years) it's versatile, i love using it for gradients

marker brush (usually for ecto): i use this brush only when i want to paint ecto (which i don't do often) but you can use this for other purposes too! it's not my favorite, not even good enough for ecto imo, because my sai 1 version is much better i blend things out the EXACT SAME WAY as the blush brush so please keep that in mind!

a basic brush im testing out for shading purposes: it has a little bit of texture and is made for baaasically cel shading but slightly softer and has the tiniest bit of color mixing

blending brush i barely use and don't actually really like that much: i'm still testing out blending brushes that i like because i can't find one that i like that isn't just blurring colors together or making them muddy when mixed together. if anybody has suggestions, PLEASE let me know! anything like a procreate or csp blending brush that can be recreated would be great

and finally, my rendering brush: it's basically a basic hard edged brush that can pick up the smallest bit of color i use it to clean up and add final touches by using the drop picker often and over the entire artwork

ofc, change anything to your preferences. that's how it goes these are just the settings that work for me :) this also goes for the program LOL i know sai is not for everyone (but it's my baby my bestie my 5ever so like this is about ME)

i have an in-depth post about my CSP brushes and how i work with them (and i don't really ever use csp unless it's a big piece so it's not changing anytime soon) if that's what you have or prefer

Greetings and Salutations, everyone! Allow me to properly introduce myself.

My name is Zeisty King — aka the random individual behind this silly little blog! I mainly go by just Zeisty, though (seeing as I treat the "King" part as a surname).

My main goal for this blog is to doodle Siffrin from In Stars and Time (as well as other characters sometimes) so I can get used to a new tablet and set up, while also having fun with it!! Hence why I named this blog the way I did and why I don't mind calling the art I post here "messy," especially considering half of them are sketches anyway!

I may make mistakes from time to time and some results may be wonky, but that's okay! It's all a part of the learning process!! And is not limited to forgetting how anatomy works; I put two hands on the wrong way in one post once and I have to accept the fact I did that.

Finally, an intro post!

Okay, it's been forever of me doing absolutely nothing so here we go making an actual intro post today

This is a sideblog for @dsaf-confessions, I am the anon known as, you guessed it, hooker foxy anon!

I'm deciding to make a shift in what I do with this blog, including in character asks with my anonsona, posting art, interacting more with the other anon blogs, and all that good shit. More on that later, though. My main blog is @an0nthecat, consider checking that out if ya wanna see art or just hear me yap more

Some basic information about me:

The names that I use online are literally Anon/Anonymous. It might get confusing I know but it's how I've been referred to for years I can't really do anything about it anymore HAHAHAH just call me that if you can

I am a MINOR. I am in my early teens. Please do NOT make any sexual comments about me. (Note, I said ME.)

I am also aroace, and non-binary. I use they/them pronouns.

I am currently hyperfixated on DSaF, FNaF and Goldie's Inferno (a FNaF AU made by the amazing bunnycat, that was sadly discontinued recently.)

The other fandoms that I am in include Spooky Month, ENA, and OMORI.

Okay onto the fun stuff: My anonsona, their lore and the in character asks and confessions and stuff

They have some fun anon lore! Most of their basic info is identical to mine so I'm not gonna bother so let's just type out the lore:

Their arc follows the DSaF 2 Fairly Evil ending, almost immediately after biting Peter they gained sentience and were super fucking confused. Their first thought was "Damn these things on my feet hurt" so they ripped off those high heels and followed Dave and Jack out of the restaurant and hitched a ride to Vegas in the trunk of their car.

They pried themselves out of it when they reached the Vegas strip and spent their first month of sentience getting fucking wasted (despite them being an animatronic... Don't ask) and terrorizing a bunch of drunk people.

They literally have next to zero interactions with any DSaF characters from this point on, they legit just chill in Vegas for the entirety of their lifetime.

They renamed themselves from Nightmare Foxy to Hooker Foxy for the shits and giggles and live in a dumpster behind a bar. They get barfed on a lot.

Their clothes were acquired by beating up random ass people on the street.

Okay now that that's taken care of... let's talk about asks and the future of this blog.

I kinda wanna start answering asks as Hooker Foxy I just thought it'd be fun yk yk yarhhh

Hey SunDog fans - I'm so sorry for not posting anything on here since June. I can't even say I was busy because I kind of used that time to draw other things, and no matter how much I think about it I can't seem to bring myself to even sketch out the next page of Red Warning From Space. But I have a potential solution (or not, you can just kick me into continuing AT LEAST until chapter 2 is over) and here it is;

Basically it is what it sounds like - I have had ALOT of stuff planned for the AU (and am still planning) and I really, really want to get the story out there, but as it turns out the comic format takes up alot of time, effort and energy, and so the story output isn't really as much as it would be on, say, a written text. I'd still post Misc. Memories in comic form and illustrations here, but the main story will be uploaded in text form with colored illustrations on here and/or AO3, and I'll probably do novelizations of the first 2 chapters for the sake of completeness (the comic versions will still be up btw)

Again, I'm sorry for the whole hiatus thing, I really haven't felt the compulsion even if I doodle some stuff for the AU on my main.. but hopefully this AU has a future!
