Other than Alastor and Vox, do any of the cannon cast appear in the au?

Oh yeah, plenty of them! Rosie and Mimzy have been shown as early as the Shaping Up and Shipping Out arc. Husk has been showing up from time to time in asks. Annddd after a lot of feedback, I showed off both Vel and Val, even though they've yet to appear in the comic series proper. Also, even though I didn't draw him here, Lucifer has also just recently made his debut in an ask as well (Gotta hand it to you guys, I honestly didn't think you'd figure out to ask the mirror questions so quickly. You guys are so smart <3)

Basically most of the Hazbin cast is going to show up at some point. Some will be human. Some...maybe not so much ;)

And before anybody asks about some noticeable missing people...they may be showing up pretty soon! Can't spoil the surprise all the time, haha!

Absolutely! I'll do an announcement when the store opens, and I'll be sure to have the shop on hand in the masterpost as well. I might also ask all you guys in polls on what you'd like to see in future drops merch-wise. We'll see how this first batch goes first X3

Hey! I adore your art and was wondering - do you have an online shop to buy prints or keychains? Also I think a drift plushie would be so cute

The shop will be open soon, promise! First time making a shop so just figuring out the bumps to it.

The limited run 3D Drift Mirror keychains have already arrived and look fantastic! Prototypes of the standard keychains have arrived too! Now I just have to order the rest of them. And I'll show everybody IRL pics of each once I get a better camera, haha. I'll also be doing some strictly canon merch as well, but I'll give you guys more updates about those in the future.

As for prints, I will absolutely be doing a run of those as well! Currently in the process of designing them, but I would love to hear what you guys want to see! Your feedback is greatly appreciated <3

As for the plushie, oh man, I would LOVE to do a run of Demon Drift plushies. Haven't yet found a place that does them at a reasonable price yet though, but I'll let you guys know first if that ever changes.

First off, congrats guys!! You figured it out wayyy sooner than I expected, so all the golds stars all around!

As for the exact reasoning why the mirror of all things...well, some demons have their grimoires to help prophesize the future, and others have their own little connections to the living world. Think of it more as...an extension of him, then actually him. And he's certainly not trapped within it.

Though...probably best not to say his name out loud. Just in case he is listening.

Why are drift’s eyes black? I get it in his ‘sinner’ form but why in his human form? Is this like a 2-D from Gorillaz situation? (he got his eyes knocked out)

Okay! A bit more design talk:

So, haha, no, Drift still has his eyes, I promise! I had meant his eyes to comes across like big 'doe' eyes or 'baby' eyes. The pupils are overly larger as compared to the eyeball shape and the iris, basically making it so that no white sclera can be seen. Think Powerpuff girl or a begging Puss in Boots, the huge pupils are meant to convey innocence.

Now, that isn't to say that sometimes the white sclera won't appear. If he's looking in an extreme direction or if his expression calls for it, like shock or fear, you'll see it. Playing around with the size of it really lets me add more to his expression.

Annndd, you're probably wondering why Al and Vox don't appear to have pupils then. In truth, they do! But I rarely ever draw them, unless, again, the expression calls for it. Vox's pupil is usually drawn pretty small by comparison, giving that piercing stare look. When he doesn't have them, he looks more 'friendly' and whatever he's staring at isn't as clear. But the pupil adds a distinct focus, kinda like he's lasered in on something. Alastor's eyes are black, so his pupil is indistinguishable from his iris normally. In extreme expressions, you will see it robbed of the black coloring though, and his iris is pretty sharp seeming, no longer able to hide the slightly sinister nature of it.

As for why Drift eyes stay the same between human/sinner? It's because the eyes are a 'window to the soul'. He is, essentially, the same person on earth as in hell, not like Al and Vox hiding what they're like on the inside. What you see is what you get ;)

Random question but is Drift gay?

Already answered this one, buttt since it’s been a tick, why not.

Drift has a veryyyy childish mindset when it comes to that stuff. Everybody has Kooties right now, and romance is okay when it’s not real. At least for himself. He’s grown more than used to seeing adults be ‘lovey dovey’. Case and point, whatever the heck is going on between Al and Vox XD.

So, uh, he doesn’t know. Has never even has a childish crush on anybody so he’s got nothing to judge it by.

So Alastor, Vox and you have talked about how he'll be 100% supportive and all that once you find your 'perfect woman', and basically his role in your life won't change. But what if he finds someone to settle down with, first? He has plenty of admirers - men and women - maybe one day one of them will catch his eye and his heart. Course I'm sure he'd still want you in his life, but I'm curious, how do you think that would look for you guys? Just cause I've seen you talk about what the dynamic would be like of Vox with you and your Mrs. Right, so I'd like to hear what it'd be like for you and whoever ends up being his happily ever after.

(A perfectly innocent question with no ulterior motive whatsoever.)

Oh boy, well, there's an assumption there that any real admirer of Vox's would have to survive first. Or not be run off. Either way, Alastor may say he's fine, but he is most certainly not fine.

Honestly, he'd probably just write off any 'sitcom' family as existing to save face after an accident with a one night stand or similar ilk. It doesn't mean Vox cares about them. He'd still 'belongs' to Alastor.

And Alastor does not share well, at all.

If this someone somehow survived...everything...Alastor decidedly would not have a relationship with them. They would exist in a separate 'sphere' than himself. And he probably would minimize interacting with them as much as physically possible. He'd never admit it, but even if they were the nicest person ever...he'd probably despise them.
