I've bounced between 1000 different Levi x reader dynamics today but now I'm thinking of college bff turned boyfriend Levi who always manages to catch you on your breaks between classes and sits at tables with you or gets food with you. You're not even in the same classes but he always manages to find you and tap you on the shoulder in the rush of students exiting a class or waving you down after having saved a seat for you in the dining hall

And even though his classes are still sometimes on the opposite side of campus he still walks you to yours and brushes off your comments about him possibly being late for his own classes

THIS IS THE CASTLE ARC! Zam is giving Woogie advice on how to be a pacifist (read: not get killed by Manepear) but it's so interesting to consider this advice in light of the Castle Arc. Zam views these negative consequences as an inevitability and doesn't see a future where people don't turn on him. His advice to Woogie is that no matter what actions Woogie takes (eg. leaving mice) he's going to be killed and hunted down by them. Even despite his own good terms with Flame and Mane he doesn't consider them fully capable of restraint.

AND THEN we get this which is crazy and probably some key facet of C!PrinceZam or whatever

idk there's just something about his acceptance of a completely constructed inevitability that's clearly influenced by his previous seasons on Lifesteal and the ways in which he presents his experience and this artificial inescapable fate to Woogie. His advice to Woogie is that no amount of appeasement (or anything else for that matter) will ever be enough to take Woogie off of the path he's on, the one-way road to getting kerb-stomped by Flame and Mane 😭

I thought I'd mention that there is a particular plot point that sort of requires having sound on for The Untamed...or at least you should know that there is a sound-related plot point. No big deal. I'm being totally chill about that. My heart isn't beating faster or anything.

But anywho *deep breath* um, yeah, I'm watching both My Stand-In and Wandee Goodday unmuted and at normal speed, which I think is contributing to my elevated heart rate. It's a lot of stimulation to absorb, but at least I completely understood where Yak was coming from hearing Dee moaning, um, working out.

Which random sidenote, but Idol Factory does the best job of captioning sound, so I never get too overwhelmed watching its shows by hearing moaning since I can just read that a person is moaning.

I've always been a sucker for religious symbolisms this man is like a treasure trove of symbolisms. Rizzley being cerberus, the guardian of hell's door in a matter of not only the fortress of meropide but also the sluice gate is so JFJDHDJDJDJDJDJJDJKK

Also unrelated but ive recently picked up Ultrakill (should check it out its GREAT). It takes place in hell and one of the early levels before you decent to hell is called Cerberus. And you cant tell me these has similar 'mechanical hell' vibes.

Anyways more symbolisms i think wrio might have [Spoilers for 4.1 Archon Quest below] :

Hes also building an ark. My first thought was obviously Noah's Ark, ya know the flood God created to wash away the corrupted human society, kinda familiar huh. AND WHAT DOES THAT IMPLY FOR WRIO? Was he the 'one righteous man' selected by god? Or is he not fontanian therefore he would technically be the only human to survive the primordial sea? This is all so farfetched forgive me im so insane for this man.

Secondly my thoughts went to the River Styx and Charon, its ferryman. I noticed that Wrio despite being a logical man, indulges in euphemisms, same vibes as Nahida. Like idk i would not expect a logical guy who lives in a relatively modern society like fontaine to use euphemisms alot. He refers to the inmates as sinners and that the fortress is a place of rebirth, but he and the fortress inhabitants refer to the fortress also as the Underworld. The River Styx was a place that seperates the living and the dead (KINDA LIKE THE GATE OF HELL) and Charon's job was to ferry sinners into the underworld (HMMM KINDA FAMILIAR HUH).
