One day

One day I hope people realize that Kitsunami already "broke through his programming" back by issue #56 of Idw Sonic

He had an entire mini arc where he dealt with being without Surge for the first time, and in the real world. He met Sonic and his friends directly, tried to work out what his purpose would be without Surge in his life (gave it a shot trying to devote himself to Sonic, seeing him as the next best thing after Surge). And when it was all said and done, he decided after experiencing more that at Surge's side is where he wanted to be.

As of the recent IDW issues, Kit isn't sticking with Surge "because of programming" and "because he just needs for other characters to friend him and turn him into a better person". He is at her side because he wants to be. He protects her and aids her because he cares about her, not just because he's serving the strongest guy in the room. And he's not interacting with others because he's decided not to give a shit about anyone else other than Surge (because from his pov, even the "good guys" are fake. From his pov, everyone is someone trying to lie and manipulate their way into pulling him and Surge to their side)

Kit already has decided what he wants to do with his life. And he decided it on his own. Not because of anyone else's wants or wishes. That's the whole point of his speech at the end of #56.

He's burying whatever his and Surge's past is and moving forward with his conviction to be with Surge because it's what he wants.

If Team Dark was in Sonic Boom, I feel that it would be funny if Rouge was introduced by Shadow making sure she gets home okay while she’s drunk and one or two of the members find him walking her home. Or maybe Rouge finds them first and Shadow appears to get her back to her house, and Rouge pretty much calls him her little brother. Shadow is 100% going to use that to mess with her tomorrow morning. Omega being there would be funny, too.

Rouge, drunk: How dare you call my little brother a villain! He’s just antisocial!

Shadow, picking Rouge up and pulling her off Sonic: Rouge, stop trying to fight people who don’t like me while drunk.

waittt sonic posting but i believe sincerely that metal sonic doesn't want to be sonic, as in the the blue flesh hedgehog, but he wants to be his own version of what he thinks "sonic" is supposed to be. like to him "sonic" is a robot, and metal is a robot, therefore he is sonic. he's not trying to be someone hes not, bc metal believes that he already is sonic, he's trying to show others that he is already the true sonic.

Wasn't having the best art day but I did manage to do some OC art at the end of it. Needed to practice drawing armor so who better than my Knight Aesthetic Forces OC, Glaive the Dog! He's kind of an ass.

This armor concept is probably not what I'm sticking with in the long term just a first attempt.

Fun fact; His wispon is actually a greatsword I will probably never draw because designing it how it works in my head has proven... difficult to say the least! Also he's got two prosthetics, his left arm and right leg.

And yes he does bite.

@kosmicpowers going back to yesterday, now that I think of it, the Weasel Unit would be invested in making those fake chaos emeralds as a power source if the SaH universe did happen to exist with the Sonic the Hedgehog Mobius.

They would provide a nice power source for the Sturgeon Robots, ice cannons, and Iron Crows.

The Sturgeon base would be a good place to make them since it would be easier to contain accidents underwater like that.

Huinjogjebi might be very interested in knowing how Tails can use his extra tails to fly, but he wouldn’t have to experiment on the fox since he could probably just ask and get an immediate answer from Tails himself. Trying to copy the ability would take years, and the technique has limited working time, so regular jet packs and just riding the crows is much easier.

A kidnapping might not even be involved in that if they meet up at a festival somewhere. Sonic and Tails are heroes, so a leader or high ranking member of a country wanting to greet them would not be unusual in any way, and Tails might get that question a lot.

It could still lead to a kidnapping, though. They might want to get Sonic out of the way, though, and the Sturgeon Base being underwater would be a good prison for them. But with the amount of fake chaos emeralds around we might see the return of dark Sonic, assuming Tails doesn’t just casually hack and take over the base.

Ahajsjjsjsjsjs I remember random things that happened in Archie Sonic that make me laugh

Like that one time Sonic had had ENOUGH with Zonic and started going off about how he's been through things Zonic would never understand because he doesn't know what it's like to lose your family and go through the trauma he did–

And then Zonic pulls up his visor and is like. Of course I understand, handsome. I'm you.

And Sonic's like "??" and Zonic just leaves

Or that time Elias was like I got it! I know how we can save my mother! If we just find the ring of acorns we can make a wish and–

And then after getting all hopeful finding out that the Ring of Acorns is already gone because Amy Rose found it and wished she could be a little older

Or the fuckin. Emotional whiplash of Sonic finding out in real time that the Tails he's been traveling with for months is a copy, and the copy to have a teary emotional disappearance and for Sonic to hold onto the original Tails. Like all in one page. Dude is freaking "I'm not real. I'll miss you, Sonic." And Sonic is like "What?" And then the clone disappears and Sonic is like "let's go home buddy you're okay we're okay" to the original Tails and no one talked about it again

That one time Sonic touched his one billionth power ring and was transported to the dimension of the ancient walkers‚ a cryptic experience involving literal oceans of green chaos emeralds. And I'm pretty sure Sonic ruined his ONE chance to ask them a question because he asked if he could ask any question

That time all the freedom fighters were forced to go to school and Geoffrey was all excited because he loved dunking on Sonic and Sonic was sad to be separated from Tails at school. Meanwhile Tails was one upping Amy in class since, despite being physically older, still had to be put in the same class as him

That time Espio dared Vector to find a date for an event which I think was Knuckles' birthday, claiming that Vector was all talk when it came to women. And Vector spent an entire story trying to get a date, and he gets one (a worker at a food stand), only to never have a girlfriend after that and to be one of 2 people who are single parents in the future

That time Silver showed up in Moebius and used his psychokinesis to pause the fighting so he could ask who Sonic the Hedgehog was, only for Sonic and Scourge to both point to each other
