"Grandma"

I saw someone else make a design for "Grandma" from sa1. (check out their post! I linked it-) And I had been wanting to for awhile but never got to it. But now I did so here's "Grandma" as she's only called that the times she's mentioned.

Some what based off the hieroglyphic from sa2, bc idk about you, but that's clearly a woman to me by the shape of it.

Anyhow, the times I'll user her in my au, I'll use my little design I made while inspired by the little detail in sa2

Headcanon that Tikal is the one who inherits her jewelry when she passes, but Pachacamac is given the feathers and they both embrace those things in their attire ever since. (For my AU, Obelisk inherits the wrist cuffs, and he only wears them for sacred events because of the lapis. Tikal gets to wear her lapis crap all the time bc she's a priestess like Grandma. lol)

Sometimes a family is a hedgehog and two Chao co-raised by another hedgehog who never sees the other hedgehog in the garden at the same time-

I spent a lot of today and last two days getting Sonic and Shadow Chao for the first time, on my steam deck. Granted it was mostly leaving the game idle while watching youtube or something.

Already played through SA2 on pc, but wanted to try it with a controller layout (I don't have a good separate one to use exclusively for my pc) and since it's much more comfortable to replay stages that way I decided to do it on the deck. Which btw I have because my pc is OLD and cannot run graphically high end games...

They promptly made an egg after I took those screenshots lmao

I heard the chime go off while I had the game details up in steam KLFJDSKLFJDKSL sneaky gremlins. Heart Fruit who? They look so proud of themselves

Chao are precious I hope to one day see the garden mechanic brought back! It's really cute how much personality it has for a little side minigame type of deal, I'd like it to have more of an impact in a game if it returns, but I wouldn't complain if not. When I first played through the story on PC it was a sweet, relaxing break between stages the times I grabbed the key to go straight to it afterward.
