I like to think he dosnt speak, and uses sign language. It dosnt say he dose in this but STILL. AND I KNOW ITS MOST LIKELY REFERING TO THE CARTOON BUT IDC.

Cause it's said she has spasuims or idk how to spell it. But like, she's also not responsive and stuff and they had to fix stuff.

The words are kinda hard to read so, I'll write them here;

Observations

Three hours following awakening-observations:

Her body continues to spasm Eyelids flutter. Paws twitch.

Subject doesn't seem to show any awareness of where she is. Could sensory functions be distorted, or altogether absent? We speak to her, try to get her attention by makeing sounds, but she dose not register our attempts.

The auditory nerve in the ears directly communicates sound to the auditory cortex in the brain. It appears we may have failed at wiring the connective cords and might be forced to go back under the knife to fix this. A lack of response seems to indicate the necessity of this task.

It's clear that our procedures still haven't corrected issues with vocals, ethier. Her mouth moves, as if to speak, but nothing is said. We'll need to correct these procedures with subsequent subjects if we're to potentially have these toys interact with our children.

SO. For a unknown period of time, she couldn't speak or hear, but as far as I'm aware it says nothing about physical contact. So, I'm assuming she can still FEEL, but hearing and speaking she couldn't do. (Obviously)

There abit easier to read but I'll write them out just incase;

Several hours after awakening. She tried to stand and walk to the other side of the cell but couldn't keep her balance. She looks to be searching for help. Continuing to spasm.

She's trying to scream, but she has no voice. She's silent. I'm not sure if she knows she's not making any sound.

Conclusions:

Work will need to be done to perfect the Bigger Body formula we began with Boxy. Each iteration improves on the former. However, if we're to meet Dr. Sawyer, and produce Bigger Bodies subjects that we can integrate into a factory setting, then more work will need to be done.

As it stands, Bobby will require further experimentation. If we're to create Subject 1188 according to schematics, then each of these "Smiling Critters" will prove a good testing ground for ironing out these issues.

SO. It seems they did some more tests and put her "under the knife" some more. It dosnt seem like it helps much for her movements but it's better then motionless. Now I'm not sure if they manage to fix her speaking and hearing,

Also, the little Doodle at the bottom, you can slightly see her ribs, but with CatNap you can fully see his ribcage and he is oddly skinny. But with dogday he ISNT skinny (which also funny cause he was left to hang, now i have other theorys for that but on were on about bobby.)

Sooooooooo, from what we know from what dogday said:

"Im.. the last.. of the smiling critters" (R.I.P sad boi-)

So we know Bobby has to have died, but we don't know how, so she has to have died from SoMtHiNg. So she could have straved to death, from what poppy told us in chapter 3 (deep sleep)

Somthing about how they hid the bodies and "feasted on them."

And from what we know about Mrs. Delight, how she killed who she saw AS HER OWN SISTERS to stay alive. And so they very much can starve.

But Bobby could have also died from one of the surgerys she went under, while trying to fix her hearing or her speaking.

She had to have gone under quite abit "to fix her" and the problems she was having.

SPEAKING OF EATING A DRINKING, how do they eat and drink, they speak and there mouth stays open cause there in a plush so uhm-? And mommy long legs mouth moves but not the smiling critters, it stays open so like... how..?

hello!❕heads up this isn’t a draw request bc ik you have a lot of those rn❕i saw you request chronic pain gon art on twitter and was wondering if you had any thoughts on that au? do you think you’d ever incorporate it in your post canon hxh lore? as someone who is realizing they might have chronic pain i just love the idea of gon having chronic pain after canon. i especially love him having a great support system for it :)

Ramblings about the hc below :-)

These are some doodles I did for the idea a little while back. This idea started from me projecting onto Gon losing his nen and seeing it as similar to the disabled experience.

I feel that Gon would have a huge complex about his pain and deny any aid for a while. When he does seek out assistance he treats it like an episodic thing, rather then somthing that is constant. Like, pushing through the pain and his limits for a while until he breaks down, then once he recovers from the break he goes back to pushing himself. In his head his disability is only present in these break downs allowing him to ignore it until it becomes too much. Over time though he would learn better habits and how to not push himself to a breaking point.

For his support system he definitely has so many people there for him!!

When on Whale Island Abe and Mito are the first to encourage him to slow down and be there for him when he's dealing with coming to terms with his pain. I especially think Abe would get on his case for internalized abelism and be the most understanding with him, Mito would be very supportive in caring for him but she wouldn't really understand imo. I feel like she was the one to instill hard working habits into him which can be an unhealthy mindset to keep when disabled.

When it comes to Killua I think that Gon has a bit of a complex over his pain in realtion to Killua. He'd likely wish he could tolerate pain to the extent Killua can and feel inadequate or weak for being bothered to the extent he is by the pain. Also Killua would likely feel even more compelled to protect Gon and Gon the prideful creature he is would feel insulted if Killua got overly protective.

In the end despite those issues and emotional complications, Killua is definitely who Gon would be the most soothed by when in pain and Killua would want to be there to support Gon. I think there's a lot of opportunity for softness between them because of it. Killua catching onto Gon's pain when he's trying to hide it, Gon seeking out Killua as a distraction when it gets bad, there's many cute scenarios.

Gon would absolutely be the worst at dealing with his chronic pain and with it being a side effect after being healed in this au, I think be would feel that he deserved the pain as well. Despite feeling like he deserved it he would hate being less capable from it and cause a lot of issues with his self worth. I think him accepting it with time and then learning how to work with his pain, knowing his limits and when to push them, and actually seeking aid, he would develop a much healthier relationship with his pain. I really love the idea of his character growth being reflected in him learning to take care of his condition!

I'm a person with fibromyalgia and migraines so when I picture what his pain is like and how he goes through it I'm imagining what I experience but in the future for any chronic pain Gon stuff I make I think I might make the pain a little vague so people with different kinds of chronic pain can relate!! As for incorporating this hc into my hxh lore, I'm kinda treating it as it's own au separate from most of my post canon hxh stuff. I have a pretty thorough outline worked out for my post canon lore and I don't want to shoehorn this hc into that so I'm treating it as it's own thing

I hope you gain some comfort in Gon suffering the same as you and getting enviable support from his loved ones, I love living vicariously through fictional characters 🫶

It's 1:10am and I have this idea of scout being on the show, this sis separate from my au but just an idea

Scout being rileys "little sister"

Introduction: a charater riley writes to often an outta town family member (maybe she off at private school or somthin) signed off as scout (well was planned to) in one of the letters the rest being just -S or your little sister keeping the fans on edge

Their personalities, like in game. are similar, but they are still opposites, of course! And she's not very well liked by riley. with riley calling her "more annoying then nick nack could ever!" That's saying somthing but of course riley adores her shes family after all

Cancled charater left to letters: scout was to appear in an episode called "shara ann and the sistrophe" whole episode of sibling bonding where scout would show up then become a reoccurring charater popping in for visits or events in town there beef being worse then ever but they get along slightly better by the end with scout surcuring some friendships with the groups and charaters of the show sadly this never came to plan and scout was never finished

Brought to life: midnight show happens as usual with scout being finished truly named scout and givin her task of destroying them and being called a weapon (shes not very good at her job btw) but when she appears due to already having charater in owens mind rileys little sister was born and given face to name! Scout is still scout obv and annoys rikey more then anything teaming up with nick every jow and then to inconvenience riley

If she wasn't cancled: if scout was given a name and face as planned she would be brought to life and givin her room like the rest (she controls a small portion of studio some mess up puppets listen to her so she keeps them) her task would be materiel collecting (she likes writing hinted in many letters she is one in this au to make the languageof the puppets so she and nick could write still shes better at host now) pens ink quilt paper and paring them correctly her mini game would be asking about different host world curiositys or writing her door having a letter and pen on it and looking it's been doodled on

Main game typical midnight show run where she's brought at the end: still somewhat the same she translates more and more of the writing found even if her eyes arnt very good (this is harpers fault sorta) she annoys rikey way more and points out and lack of rhyme during nicks room when she goes nick nack likes music she sjust followes it up with "but writing the music is way more fun when....nevermind" cause ehehehe angst

It's 1:31 am ill add when I have more ideas

It's 12:01pm and I figured out how scout letters would appear! during fire side chats I seems they get letters and scouts letters would appear during fan mail segments every now and then a bright blue envelope that seemed to have doodled over labeled to riley the teased scout letter would be where the the handeemen going over mail and letters received find one folded up out of its envelope someone finding it and wondering what's it about only the one who signed that shown riley snatching the letter labeled scout

I feel theletter would be visiting thing or somthing along those lines playing with the off at private school probably during a school break and request to stay with riley during her visit

Just to reappear every now and then for big events or during typical school breaks before fully joining the crew I feel scouts full name would be scout ruckus scribbles

Or scout scribbles ruckus since the handeemen with the mortimer exception all have there names start with the same letters as there last but I think this is gonna be a little side thing from my unnamed au
