The Light Fury's design doesn't bother me.

It used to initially, but that was only because of an uncanny resemblance to a character from an old movie I like. It's called I, Robot and the humanoid robots in it are white to the point of translucency with very blue eyes, but that means the issue was more uncanny valley than anything else and unique to me alone. Also I've gotten over it.

But the Light Fury makes sense to me actually because of how she turns invisible. Changewings and Featherhides may change their color, but Light Furies make themselves reflective. I imagine you would want to be as colorless as possible if you're going to try and turn yourself into a mirror. Having a bunch of pigment would probably get in a way of the illusion.

The more I think about it, the more I think of the scales being translucent but very small and close together, like how millions of clear snowflakes come together to cover the ground in that sparkling white blanket. Polar bear fur works this way too actually. The white comes from the way the light gets into all the tiny gaps and crevices, rather than from any pigment.

This is also why it doesn't bother me that she's so smooth. Heating her scales seems to cause them to change their structure, melding the light together as a single reflective surface. Being covered in horns or spikes would cause more angles for the light to have to bend around, like cracking a mirror. I just can't imagine it would work as well, especially in the sky where there is nothing to disguise the silhouette.

Was it what the creators intended? Possibly not. But it is there to be considered and I quite enjoy considering it. So no, she doesn't bother me.

I was born and raised in Gaza, a place I once called home. Life was simple but beautiful. I remember sitting with my family in the evenings, drinking tea and telling stories. I remember walking through the streets, greeting neighbors, feeling like I belonged. I remember celebrating birthdays, laughing over silly jokes, and dreaming about the future.

But in the blink of an eye, everything changed. My home is gone. My family is not whole anymore. My city is unrecognizable. 💔 The streets that once felt so safe are now filled with emptiness. The laughter has been replaced with silence.

And yet, I hold onto my memories. Because memories remind me of who I am, where I come from, and what truly matters. They remind me that love, family, and connection are stronger than destruction.

If you’re reading this, take a moment to appreciate the little things. Hug your family, tell someone you love them, appreciate the warmth of home. These small moments are what truly make life beautiful. 💙

I know that my request for help has become common among many, but I always have to ask for help for safety, food and shelter for my children. I always feel shy and do not want to bother anyone. In fact, I wish I was not in this difficult situation. I am educated, have degrees and a profession. I am Mohammed Saqr , 22 yrs , a Palestinian youngman, from Gaza, seeking to save my 12 _ member family from the hell of the war by moving to a safe place till the gruesome war ends.

Our suffering and hardship started on 14th October, 2023 when my family was forcibly displaced from the north to the south under a life-threatening situation. As a result, our houses were completely destroyed and demolished, and our business accordingly went with the wind. Nothing has been left to be a source of livelihood. No shelters to house us nor a livelihood source to live on.

We have been living miserably in tents since the early days of the war. Life had become very hard and tough. No means of life still exists. Getting the least level of life is now hard and impossible. All our hope is to secure the daily basic necessities but this seems more often impossible that is why we are suffering the hardship of life. You can't imagine how hard it is to get food, drink water, medicine and other facilities. Life has become dire and sad in addition to the hot weather inside the hot tents that adds to our pain and unbelievable sufferings. Words can't show the miserable situations and circumstances we are experiencing nowadays due to the unfair war.

A part of our daily sufferings to get the least of what we need. Imagine how you feel when you wait for at least four hours in queue .Things are the worst one has ever

experienced. That is why I am asking for you generous contribution to help me secure the least of what we daily need and to find safety and peace for the twenty-member family who are now tasting all forms of torture and sorrow.

Every day we wake up to find things move from bad to worse. No sign is there for the war to end and this add to our unhappiness and miserable life. Despair and hopelessness have become new forms of our life as we are now homeless , displaced and jobless.
