share some hylics headcanons perchance?

HIHELLO yes of course i can share some headcanons! will try to share just a few random ones sorry if some are repeats of ones i have talked about in the past my memory is soup lol

one that i don't really remember if i have talked about is with Blerol and Fleam! i hc that Fleam is Blerol's child and that Fleam grew up wanting to be a guard so that's why they have like armor and stuff! Blerol is probably super supportive of them and is like "hellyeah lemme get you some armor and stuff have fun and stay safe" fkdhdksh also i feel like Fleam would really look up to Pongorma as a major inspiration because of that!!

genuinely don't remember if i ever talked about this, but have some silly hcs for what the main four were up to between h1 and h2! for Wayne i feel like they would have spent some time still at their H1 house afterwards to just kinda recover and process over everything that happened with Gibby and the moon, but i feel like after some time either be would have decided to move back to Waynehouse (hc that he moved away years before H1) either on his own or from Old Wayne flat out offering and leading up to H2 he mainly just hung out there and possibly helped the other Waynes with training and with raising the Wayne Larvae! for Dedusmuln i feel like they would have continued their studies after spending a little time at Wayne's (probably a week) recovering and would eventually start traveling with Smuldunde more! Smul would probably show them new locations to excavate and explore while also giving them access to some of their studies so that they can further their own studies! this leads into how you encounter them on H2! with Somsnosa i feel like besides them running their juice ranch, some time before that (as further detailed with The Way Back Home from Absent Moon) she would begin searching for the call that is mentioned with the song, but after a long while she would begin to struggle and decide to stop for the time being (after H2 thought she would become even more motivated to resume this search). she would then begin his juice ranching! for pongorma i feel like he would do a lot of traveling since it had been years since he was released from the vault. feel like he would tag along with dedusmuln in a lot of their travels! since i hc that Smul lives in New Muldul, i think the Dedus would eventually bring Pongo there to both see it but to also meet Smul and from there he would decide that he'd like to reside there!!

also here is a Drac one because oufjdhdhdjdhsjhdjsbs already have talked about Drac and Old Wayne as a ship in the past and still do but i think like yeah even if that isn't canon i still think that Drac was still some sort of parental figure for H1 Wayne (and H2 Wayne if you think it's the same Wayne from H1)! i feel like if Drac knew Old Wayne (regardless if just friends or more), he would help with watching over and raising the Waynes. if the two didn't meet though, i still feel like Drac would still somehow meet Wayne if he was out on his own, and maybe Wayne would just tag along with Drac in his travels and Drac would just sorta start watching over and protecting Wayne! also then links to my hc for the act screens being dreams with Drac trying to reach out to Wayne about Gibby and everything

Greetings to all who prescribe their ears toward this humble recording! It is I, Somsnosa, Queen of the Insects, in a non-royal way, and bonafide overseer of the Saturated Archipelago's juice ranch AND newly evolved golf course. My fists are as weaponized as much as my being is gentle, obviously. 

A friend of mine was supposed to be the one asking me all the questions for this particular historical documentation, but I, um… I-It wasn’t a good time. I was still wracked with stress over maintaining the golf course and how to wisely invest all the bones and having to fight off those post dogs who fused to doom-latent degrees with the chimerical dioramas. All that crap. 

Yeah, that was about it… Anyway, I figured since they left their recorder here I could be generous and just record the whole thing myself. The subject makes enough sense for me to not require any questions be bestowed upon me.

It was my friends birthday recently so I made some birthday art of me and their hylics fan characters!

Characters are: Daelimu (beloved horseshoe crab), Bathy (isopod man), Helios (long horn mask fellow), Banroog (anomalocaris shortie).

Banroog, Daelimu, and Helios are all buddies who hang around New Muldul since Daelimu lives there. Dae and Roog are quiet platonic queer partners who watch on as Helios gets his ass kicked in. They would have funny scenarios doing dumb shit around the world of hylics.

Banroog, Daelimu, and Helios all visit the Somsnosa juice ranch (they thorsty. They want juice) and spend their day petting Juice beasts like cows and getting the stink eye from Bathy. Helios is the most feral of the trio, but not in a “lets do reckless shit for fun on purpose” like a wild teen, more like Helios just lacks a frontal lobe and is like “can I take a picture by this juice beast?” And then they get bitten by the juice beast.

Banroog is the only one out of the friend group who owns a photography camera (an ancient artifact that was broken and bought off of Dedusmuln. Banroog repaired it and now takes pictures of their friends with it). Banroog is the poor soul tasked with taking pictures and videos of the shit they all get into. Daelimu being the nurse in training gets to pull their hair out watching it all play out. They are a grab trio, I might draw them more.

somsnosa literally just sits on her ranch and slaps bugs and im like. shes a recovering alcoholic who maintains her farm that used to be her neglectful parents old farm but she keeps it in her name in order to feel like she has ownership over herself and she watches the sunset on the porch and she loves decres but she doesn’t say anything about it and she doesn’t want to be a hero she just wants to wake up to a kitchen and food to make in it but she’s also a punk rocker with a cowardly streak. im blorbo-ing faster than the speed of light

long-time followers will know i am Always thinking about let’s play AUs, and you know what? hylics is no exception. here we go

wayne: his brand? Suffering. dark souls, super meat boy, getting over it, sonic 06, he’ll play ‘em all. what he lacks in epic gamer skills, he makes up for with tenacity and a transcendental tolerance for pain. new viewers may find it strange that he doesn’t react much to successes as well as setbacks, but you see, it’s not cheevos that he strives for... the struggle itself toward the heights is enough to fill a wayne’s heart. also he enters his own name for all his characters and, on more than one occasion, has misspelled it and didn’t notice until after confirming

dedusmuln: claims to be not much of a gamer and then streams like breath of the wild for six hours. the three things they love most are fun world, fun movement, and fun secrets. will never complete the main game cuz they keep hyperfocusing on not just sidequests but also weird arbitrary goals they make up for themselves (”i wonder if i can get onto that balcony the developers clearly never intended to be reachable?” etc). their friends love them as a stream guest for their looking up walkthroughs and dispensing hints judiciously when needed -- except wayne, who refuses help and embraces hell, to dedusmuln’s eternal frustration

somsnosa:  probably the most variety streamer out of the crew; she’ll try anything once. ultimately she tends to gravitate towards farm sims (and farm mechanics in other games) for some reason. after a long day on the juice ranch she just loves to open up stardew valley and micromanage another, virtual farm. in general, satisfying gamefeel and fashion potential are what she says she cares about most in a game. she pretends to not get invested in the story but is always like “no!!! no!!!!!!!” at any major character’s tragic death.

pongorma: loves to become strong, whether that’s “strong enough to vaporize any monster that gets in the way” or “strong enough to help any civilian in need”. the longer he plays a game, the more likely it is that he starts roleplaying as his character, reading their dialogue and even voicing their thoughts. but he doesn’t admit it or even acknowledge it; he thinks That’s Just What You Do when you play a video game. definitely a A Black Square? What By The Gods type of guy.

Let me tell you those four of them

Wayne: this guy reminded me of Yozora despite of his crescent moon shape head. It was kinda weird since his species were like moon people. I mean, Wayne is most quiet in the first game then he's start to talk everyone in the sequel. I hope two of the game will be on other platform such as Xbox one, PS5, and Switch. Do I forgot the mention that Wayne and Somsnosa know each other before Dedusmuln and Pongorma.

Somsnosa: Somsnosa is one the main character of Hylics. She is some sort of other species in Hylics since there are few of her people working on juice ranch (don't know how many population they have). Maybe She and her people are descendants of the firelings (gelfling sub-species from the dark crystal) or I was just making these conspiracy theories. Btw, Is Instars related to Somsnosa? Are they cousin? How did Somsnosa know about wayne?

Dedusmuln: Dedusmuln is unusual nonbinary person that doesn't have humanoid face. They are the archaeologist who searched for paper cups.... Seriously, they were searching for paper cups. Can you like search the remain of dead body or something? Also; During the ending scene credits, the worms come out of Dedusmuln head. Were they pregnant the whole time?!

Pongorma: The another party member of Wayne team. Before That, Pongorma was a boss challenger but after fight he became wayne friend to battle lord Gibby. The question is what does his head look like without his helmet?
