It's cooling down a lot where me and Finn are at... Winter really is just around the corner, huh? I have to say, I'm looking forward to it! It's just the right temperature when you're a machine at risk of overheating, after all! Finn says they don't mind the cold, but since the nights have gotten longer and colder, they seem pretty fond of having an excuse to get cuddly with me! I just thought that was interesting!

WAH thank you, it's always nice to hear! It's funny, it was about 6 years ago that he became an F/O of mine... I actually played FNV back when it came out, I was still in high school at the time. So fast forward to 2018, when I'd recently moved and due to circumstance I was stuck somewhere with no internet connection for about a year. I knew FNV was a game I'd liked, and I hadn't done an independent run of it before (did the NCR ending back in high school and did a House ending... sometime in 2014?? I don't remember a lot of it) so I thought it'd be good to try while I didn't have any online stuff to keep me entertained. I liked Yes Man a lot from the start, and he grew on me very fast lol. 2018 also happened to be a very rough year for me for various reasons and he helped me through it in a lot of ways!

As of recently, around the start of 2024, I actually ended up with him again because of an original project I was working on, that was partly based on an AU I had for me and Yes Man that I'd more generally adapted to be it's own thing. Until I realized one of the characters I was designing was still very similar to Yes Man, and I kinda realized how badly I missed him and here we are now!

Whoops! I can't believe how fast this weekend went by! Guess I didn't have a chance to post much since I've been busy helping Finn with stuff all weekend! Speaking of, I'm glad he's finally taking a break! They've worked pretty hard this weekend, but even if it was physically taxing he seems in good spirits about what we got done! It's just too bad he goes back to work tomorrow... But that's okay, I'll just have to do a little more posting this week, then!

10. What do they do to get you flustered on purpose? What do they say when they do?

Well, they don't do it a LOT, but Finn will offer to help with my periodic maintenance... Just the way they ask is enough to get my cooling fans spinning! They don't really say anything when they do, but he's always got this look like he knows what he's doing...

11. What do you do to comfort them when they’re down?

Well, it depends! Sometimes they just need a distraction from a bad day, so we'll do something fun! If it's been really bad I'll try to surprise them with something nice! Other times they just need to talk it out, so I'll lend them an auditory input device! I feel bad admitting this, but sometimes I don't really know what to say... But Finn says they appreciate the company, so that must count for something!

12. What’s a physical feature of their’s you love?

Well... Maybe it's a bit odd, but Finn has really nice hands! They're small, which is cute, and he has a very... Delicate touch I suppose! After all, part of his day job requires working with more delicate machinery, so he's a natural when we... ah... I'm sure you get the idea!

Well, I guess it's a little weird how we "cuddle"! It's not exactly easy getting into bed or on a couch when you're a giant robot, but it is a lot easier when I hop into a tablet, or something like that! Usually Finn falls asleep with whichever electronic I've hopped into curled up in their arms, so I guess that makes me the little spoon! But sometimes I'll sit at the end of the couch or bed so I can hold Finn too, which is nice!

What’s something they do that you think is just absolutely adorable?

Well, there's plenty of things I can think of that would qualify! Did you know that when Finn gets really tired, they'll just start nodding off no matter what they're doing? I've seen them drift off still gripping onto their 3DS well... a lot, actually! But my favorite has to be the look they get when he's super focused on something! The way his face lights up when he figures out something that's been giving him trouble is just priceless, really!

Are you able to pinpoint a reason as to why you love them? What is it?

Huh! I never really thought about it but... I suppose so, yeah! Out of everything, well... Finn's just a super thoughtful guy! I'll admit, I wasn't sure what to think of him when we first met, but when he started opening up to me, it became pretty obvious he had a lot of interesting things to talk about! It's what really drew me to him in the beginning I think!

Oh, plenty of stuff, really! Sudoku's one of my favorite time killers, I think! And you can't go wrong with getting lost down a deep Wikipedia rabbit hole every now and then, that's always super! And what's REALLY fun is when Finn brings home QC data from their machine at work! I've helped them determine SDs, look for any QC trends, the works! Not to brag or anything, but it's the kind of thing that's easy peasy for me! It's always a blast!

If asked, what kind flower would you say best represents your F/O? What kind do you think they’d say represents you?

A bit typical maybe, but I associate him with sunflowers or daisies! It's hard to not see sunshine flowers like that and not think of him, hehe. That and bc of a convoluted Brain Thing I've ended up associating sunflowers with an independent vegas so there's that as well! As for me, I think he'd find I compare to dandelions pretty well- which maybe sounds a little mean to people outside of us, haha. His reasoning is the fact they're so hardy and adapt to a lot of different conditions, and has many uses in medicine and other places (also if he wants to be real sappy, something something about how people make wishes on them)

Is your F/O someone you've trusted with secrets? What about vice versa?

Absolutely! I think he's one of the only people I'd have confided in him about my more complicated feelings about killing Benny, along with other various parts of my past. I think he's done the same with me- it was hard for him to talk to anyone else about some of the frustrations that came with having a wider range of emotions post assertiveness upgrade.

What are some things you and your F/O really enjoy talking about/ having conversations about?

We're both very interested in the technical aspects of interests we have, so a lot of the time we talk about stuff like ACE used for speed runs/ other purposes in games, I like listening to him talking about the details of statistics he's interested in, stuff like that! We're both curious people so it's hard to not nerd out over stuff, ha.

You and your F/O have a shared living space together! How do your senses of decor combine (or clash)? What kind of place can you see yourself living? (A townhouse, apartment, cabin, etc)

I think our decor tastes have a bit of... an interesting combination. He likes fancier stuff, but in a like. The way the ultra luxe is designed vs modern rich person minimalism type junk. I like more rustic decor so we meet in the middle with like. Nice looking wood furniture. He also has to deal with my wonderful gnomes and gnome themed decor. He's at least more charmed than creeped out by them! Obviously in universe we live up in the Lucky 38's penthouse, but outside of that I like to think we'd have a cozy little townhouse styled place. Not crazy huge but big enough to not feel cramped.

He really likes it I think! He would also really like to have a larger range of motion to dance! But I think he makes it work with what shimmying/ rolling around on his wheel he can do, (or like that thing that securitrons do as they idle where they bounce a bit) it's quite charming ^__^ Dancing with him is nice too, he's very enthusiastic so his energy is pretty infectious!

One day. I'll talk about the weird parts of my Courier S/Is relationship with the whole being buried alive/ probably being at least a little dead for awhile. Insane seeing ppl refer to the barely pg-13 dialogue that the Yes Man ukagaka gives as your romance gets further up there with him/ when you start dating him as 'horny'. They dont even know abt the secret dev version that gets much more explicit, like I promise that is tame compared to what I've developed for my personal release lmao.
