iiiiit's that time of year again folks! sliding in sorta late with mine, but its before new years, so it counts.

artwise the year was rather dry. another one of those "creating or being 5000% dead" years. plenty of fic writing! and i sure am breathing! but... eheheh. if it weren't for my commissioners, i wouldn't have anything a lot of these months X] ah well, the personal pieces i did do were either big and experimental or just character silly times to help me fall back in love with art. i'll call it a win since i had at least one thing every month!

nyway. dudes. bros. friends and foes alike. what the FUCK was this year lskdjfldksf this year dragged me thru dirt. it was 100% MY dirt and 100% MY adulting life struggles!!! but it was still dirty struggles lskdfj

i got covid the last week of january, first of all. that was awful and i wouldn't recommend it at any point. honestly? kinda set the tone for the rest of the year. i went through 3 different jobs lmao. that's gotta be the thing that shaped most of my mood and time. first job was overworking me, second job literally ground me into the dust, and the third job (which i'm still working at) has helped gently get me back on my feet. i actually LIKE going to work most of the time again. really relieving when u gotta work to live X] tho i'll be honest i don't remember a lot of the year aside from work ahaha :,) leaning on my daylio mood tracker/diary app for a lot of this review ;_; money's been tight and circumstances have been up and down and all around... plenty of mental health bullshittery to compliment getting worked to death. got to meet and vibe with friends new and old on a few scattered vacations tho! nd i took the time to tend to friendships in general as i was able. when i wasn't... y'know. just Trying To Exist tm. sometimes i feel like i wasn't there enough this year. like it kept slipping through my fingers. time was slow and too fast all at once. energy was very hit or miss. but... hey, there's gonna be those times when u just survive. i'm ok that the year was spent just getting by. next year should even out a bit- or at least present new problems rather than dragging out the old ones LKDJFS oh! and there were some good things in there for sure! went to an owl city concert, started hanging out with my new work friends, saw the mOTHERFUCKIN FN/AF MOVIE HELLO???? and renewed the lease at my apartment! so, hey! another thing i'll call a win.

time plods on and so do i! into the new year i go, armed with headstrong plans of hope, new roommates (yet longtime friends) on the horizon, and blorbos ready to spin faster than any twister.

here's to another one around the sun. may we get a little more rest and a little more creative in '24 🖤

Autism for 11 year old

vent about me and my daughter, is there any young adults who are autistic who can help shed light on this. my daughter is dwindling away in front of us unhappy shell of herself who wants to keep herself in her own we bubble.

so fast forward to a lot of trauma in school and we decided home education was the best avenue for her, now we are a year in and the reality has hit for her that nothing is getting better, I really wanted home ed to work for her but she won't engage with any groups or anything outside the house even the work she will do it for the tutor 2 hrs a week and thats ok I don't push it. the only reason she even has a tutor is she wants to give big school a shot which I'm baffled by, why go back to a system that helped break you in the first place but this is her journey and we have to support her decisions so we have to follow the curriculum and do our own thing and help her explore herself and herself as a person. we have found she needs structure and routine and doesn't know any other way than school etc. I think the going back to school idea is for friendships which we all know how hard that is in school. Im like you have all this at home and I have reached out to home ed children which has never amounted to anything as she does struggle to maintain socially, but I'm like there is a big world out there and other ways and she doesn't want to engage and I'm not sure why.

but she does not want to put any effort into making changes etc like accepting she struggles to sleep etc hence why she sleeps until 12 the next day and even thats hard waking her up.

through this and high levels on anxiety we are trying to work with her I know I'm putting my own trauma onto her by worrying that she's going to end up on anxiety medication as it never worked for me it just masked the person I was to fit into society, so what I'm trying to say is I'm trying every ave possible that could help her before medication today we were supposed to start on brain supplements which help low mood energy levels and all rounder for everything really. But that was a fail as I couldn't wake he up which ended up in a screaming match am I worrying to much about getting her into routine for school in sept? and I'm pushing to much? I obviously am and sometimes writing it out there answers your own questions. but I also feel like I'm failing her if I let her sleep most of the day and waste away to non existence.

we done face mask together last night we made a plan for today to clean her bed etc but that has all went to flop as she didn't want to wake up and face the day . she will not engage with anyone outside the house so even if I did ring drs to get her something to at least help her sleep she will not go she is strong willed and determined young girl and I don't want to knock that out of her and I was exactly the same at her age, you could not tell me what to do end off not matter who it was lol taste of my own medicine eyyyy lol.

yeah again if you get this far in my long mind posts well done cause I struggle myself to read others long posts lol but letting this go into space out of my own mind and hopefully my daughter will be in a much better place this time next year she doesn't realise that we care a lot even tho she thinks were nagging etc the love for you're kids is just something you cannot describe especially if you have struggled yourself and watching them struggle makes it tens time harder.

sorry if this is odd to ask but what is your workout routine? I’m trying to motivate myself into exercise again and seeing how other people do it helps. Have a good one!

meant to reply to this sooner but I forgor… getting round 2 it now tho! disclaimer I dunno as much abt exercise science as I’d like to + don’t rly have any 'training' so my approach just comes from personal experience - take this w a pinch of salt lol. I’ll split it in 2 parts: my routine first + then a list of things that personally motivate me in a reblog in case u find any of that useful >:-) (under the readmore cuz this ended up being kind of long 👇)

ok so: I try to ‘actively’ work out 5 days a week. this tends to be broken into 1-2 longer full-body sessions (around 60-120 mins long, at the mo usually bouldering/parkour or a full-body home workout) with a rest day before/after + then 3-4 shorter home workouts (30-60 mins long, usually some form of weight/resistance training, targeting specific muscle groups). e.g. a fortnightly workout timetable might look smth like this for me:

I don’t tend to plan specific workouts more than a few days in advance so I don’t actually follow an explicit timetable like this. instead I set aside an ‘exercise timeslot’ every day (usually 4-6pm) and I’ll intuitively decide how to work out on the day – i.e., what part of my body feels ready to go? what part feels tired + needs a break? do I have the energy/focus to do 45 mins or do I need to shorten it to 30? do i need a rest day? working out regularly means I have a good sense of how long I need for certain muscles to recover so if there’s an activity I want to do on a specific day (like a sports club I wanna attend) I’ll keep it in mind and plan accordingly so I’m fresh for that. as a rule of thumb, I avoid working the same muscle group on consecutive days + give myself a full rest day before & after any intensive full-body workout. I also try to never take more than 3 back-to-back rest days unless I’m sick/on my period/life gets in the way – otherwise its very easy for me to fall out of routine even if I’ve maintained it for months beforehand (<- adhd ass)

(also worth noting – my ‘rest days’ aren’t completely ‘inactive’ – I’ll go for a walk or do some stretches/yoga or another gentle activity instead. I need a lot of physical movement in my life or I go stir crazy <- adhd ass strikes again)

my ‘home workouts’ are the sort of movements u can do at a gym with the equipment there, but I replicate them with a yoga mat + my own weights + a sturdy chair. I have 6kg & 10kg pairs of dumbbells, plus yoga blocks + resistance bands for extra challenge. most of my workouts are based on resistance/interval training, which is focused on increasing strength by repeating sets of movements/holds at a consistent intensity/pace for specific lengths of time, with short timed rest periods in-between (e.g., a typical workout might look like 45 mins of 45 movements targeting 1-2 muscle groups, each done for 40 seconds followed by a 20 second break before immediately moving onto the next).  I like it bc I can rly feel the progress I make + find it satisfyingly challenging (<-masochist) but also bc its easy to tailor to my own ability/how much energy I have that day etc by changing weights/pace. it also works with my adhd brain bc I only have to do each movement for 40-50 seconds at a time before moving on to smth else so I don’t get as easily distracted (as opposed to doing like xyz number of reps for xyz sets). if you’re interested, I swear by caroline girvan – I’ve done her EPIC programmes a few times now + often cherrypick from her videos when I want to work certain muscle groups without sitting down + compiling a list of individual exercises + setting a timer myself. the ‘EPIC beginner’ series is a great intro to her longer ones, I sometimes use that to ease myself back into working out if I haven’t for a while, but be warned it isn’t aimed at ppl who are completely new to that style of exercise. I think she has an app now that comes with an ‘absolute beginner’ version + a 14 day free trial(?) so might be worth checking that out. I will admit some of her stuff is TOUGH - I still can't do all of them w the same weights/pace she does... I particularly struggled with wrist strength when I started out too and had to do some separate conditioning/strengthening exercises before I could even work up to doing like. a single push up on my knees... so if u do check her out try not to get put off by how crazy strong she is bc thats literally her career skfjkj the important thing is just doing it to the best of ur own ability/to ur point of hypertension + keeping good form throughout!!

full body home workouts are pretty much more of the same just longer since I'm hitting more muscles (i.e. 60-90 mins) + sometimes with cardio elements (altho I can’t do HIIT workouts involving jumping at home bc I’m a respectful upstairs neighbour 😔). If I go to the bouldering gym (I try to go fortnightly atm) I’ll usually spend ~2 hours, focusing on trying to send one route at a time until my arms give out. im currently getting confident with V2 grades and tentatively working on V3s. its probs my fave sport, there's a level of problem solving to it that I find rly mentally stimulating... even tho I boulder solo, trips to the gym are social for me bc I often end up chatting to ppl working on nearby problems + picking up technique/advice from them, its a v welcoming space (I'm also planning on joining my new city's queer climbing group!). the parkour sessions I go to are also social, they're run locally for free around the city + structured by more experienced members in the community. they usually involve a warmup, conditioning, drills focusing on certain movements/jumps etc, and then free 'play' trying to put those moves into context. again ~2 hours long. im def not a pro at climbing or parkour but theyre super fun + would 100% rec if ur interested + can find a friendly local group for either, u can teach urself using online resources too :-)

goes without saying but I also warm up for at least 5 mins before doing ANYTHING!!! I try to cater it to the muscle group im planning on working with but still cover the whole body cuz its important to get ur heart rate up + even when u focus on one muscle group there will be others that get dragged in. I don't rly have a 'set' warmup but again caroline girvan has some good ones on her channel 👍 likewise always good to cool down after with stretches cuz future me will be grateful for it.. altho sometimes I'm a bit lazy abt it 🤭

Johann doesn’t hate Magnus. It is incredibly hard to hate someone like Magnus Burnsides. Really, just look at him. He is friendly and cheerful, getting along with almost anyone he comes across. Sure, sometimes he’s a little strange, but that rustic hospitality can sway anyone into forgetting that fact. Johann won’t lie, that charm affects him, too. Johann’s eyes are almost always on Magnus when he makes himself the spotlight. Johann is not special in that regard.

But Johann also doesn’t necessarily like Magnus. Their conversations are tight and brief, usually when passing by in a hallway or awkward cafeteria-line small talk. Truthfully, Johann can’t even chalk it up to being busy. He’s always the one to cut those small conversations short, as quickly as he politely can (half of which are not actually as polite as Johann thinks they are). Johann tries to convince himself it’s just because he doesn’t mesh well. Magnus is loud, way too touchy-feely, and just doesn’t share many interests with him. That’s it.

It gets harder for Johann to convince himself of that after that… incident with the Voidfish.

Johann knows his feelings about it are stupid and childish. That doesn’t stop him from feeling it, and feeling it with every righteously-angry fibre of his being. 

Johann’s not sure he’s been doing a great job of hiding his dislike of Magnus very well… Well, no, Johann is actually very aware that he’s not hiding his dislike very well. He’s always been blunt about his emotions even when he tries to downplay them, which he is barely doing with Magnus now. 

That’s why it’s very suspicious when Magnus suddenly attaches himself to Johann at lunch. 

“Haha, hey, Johann!” Magnus calls out to Johann just before he sits down. He’s standing with Taako and Merle, like usual, but he’s staring right at Johann now. “It’s been a while, man! How are you doing?” he asks. Then he starts walking towards Johann.

Johann visibly tenses up at his seat on one of the cafeteria tables. He’s alone this time, after he told Killian and Carey he would rather be alone for a little while today. It’s strange enough for Magnus to go out of his way to greet Johann so loudly like this, but to walk away from his trio? Taako and Merle look a little confused at the sudden action, but they don’t follow Magnus.

“Uh, hey? I’m, um, fine. How are you?” Johann asks in return. His eyes are focused squarely on the little bits of his own food, which he awkwardly picks at, and not at Magnus, who makes sure to sit right in front of him. 

“Oh, you know, work! Lots of training so far, getting ready for the next mission, whenever that is,” Magnus says, taking a bite out of his food. “I tried to get a hold of Avi earlier, but he’s been down on the surface for something for a long time, huh? Know anything about that, dude?”

Johann finally looks up at Magnus and the eye contact is immediately heavy. Johann almost looks away just out of surprise, but he manages to keep it. “Oh, uh, he’s down there. Setting something up around Woven Gulch. He’ll be down there for a week longer or something. I’m not, like, totally sure of the specifics myself, Avi didn’t really tell me much, honestly,” he says.

Magnus smiles, then takes another bite. “Man, what a bummer. Was thinking of hanging out with you an’ him today.” He makes the active effort to ensure that the ‘you’ part of his sentence is extra clear through his chewing. His eyes are staring into Johann’s expectantly, like he’s waiting for a reaction to this out-of-the-blue invitation from Johann.

Which Johann readily gives because what the fuck is happening? “You… wanna hang out with me?” he asks, squinting incredulously.

“Yeah! Would be nice to get to know our local, best-violinist-ever bard!” 

“I just, um, I’m not really sure if you’d want to…” Johann stutters, because it is infinitely harder to bullshit his way out of this when being directly confronted. “I’m definitely not gonna spar with you, I really can’t do that.”

“That’s fine,” Magnus says. He’s still smiling, but even Johann can notice the slight set to his jaw now. “I didn’t expect you to say yes to that anyway. You’re going down to ol’ Void after lunch, right?”

Just Magnus mentioning the Voidfish made Johann even more tense than he was before. Did Magnus want to tag along with him? For what, to rub their little connection in my face? he thinks with a bitter taste in his mouth. He doesn’t even have it in him to chastise himself for being really petty right now. 

“Uh, yes, I’m going down there when I’m done. I don’t know if that would, um, be a lot of fun, though. It’ll just be me working and the Voidfish, um, voiding around,” Johann says, hoping maybe if he made it sound boring enough Magnus would want to hang out around literally anyone more fun than him. Someone who would actually enjoy his presence.

Magnus makes a little psshh sound and slams his hand on the table in good humour. “Oh, come on, man! I might not be, like, a connoisseur of music or whatever, but I can appreciate good music when I hear it!” he laughs. It is a loud, sweet laugh that is, unfortunately, impossible to not to get weak to. Hard to deny. Johann hates it just as much as he wants it.

Johann looks down to the side, thinking about what he should do. The thought of Magnus and the Voidfish interacting in front of him again made him a little frustrated, but there also had to be a reason why Magnus is so insistent on hanging out with him today. Johann finds himself growing more curious about it.

“If, uh, that’s what you want, then who am I to stop you?” Johann shrugs. “Just tell me when you finish your food and we can go—”

Magnus proceeds to scarf the rest of his food down his throat as quickly as he can. It’s a bit gross. Johann has second thoughts about letting Magnus tag a long now, but it’s not like he can uninvite him now or anything. Especially not when Magnus is now completely finished with his lunch after those huge, quick bites.

“Ready!!” Magnus manages to get out of his mouth full of food.

Johann cannot hold back his scathing glare.

The elevator down to the Voidfish’s chamber is hellish enough. Awkward shuffling of feet and painful small talk, Magnus threatening to tickle Johann again , and a general sense of uncomfortableness. 

The Voidfish sings as soon as it sees Magnus, of course. Johann clenches his jaw when he hears its loud, hypnotic song fill the giant room with music. Johann doesn’t feel that same connection he felt that day. He knows this song is now focused solely on Magnus. 

Magnus eats it up happily. He laughs and smiles that big, irritating smile and charms the Voidfish as he seems to do so easily. 

What does he have that I don’t?

Johann will admit that Magnus does a good job in his attempts to lighten the mood when he manages to tear himself away from the Voidfish. To focus on Johann. For as much as Johann can’t mesh with Magnus, it would be disingenuous to say he didn’t try. He asked Johann what he was working on when they got to his desk. In fact, he seems pretty interested in the rather complicated piece in front of him. That makes Johann relax, if only for a moment, for the first time in Magnus’ presence.

That couldn’t last long, of course.

“So, hah, Johann,” Magnus says when he notices Johann’s sudden relaxation. He’s sitting at the foot of the Voidfish’s tank, his back leaning against the cold glass like Johann has done many times. The Voidfish is humming quietly, but Johann could hear it. “Thank you for agreeing to let me come down here with you. I do think we can do this more often, you know?” Magnus sounds more serious at that last part. 

Ah, there it is. I almost forgot he came here for a reason.

“Maybe we can,” Johann says. 

Magnus waits for an elaboration. When he doesn’t get it, he sighs and scratches at one of his burnsides. “Look, man, I’m not stupid. I know maybe I’m not the most serious of people around the parts, but I do have some awareness of the things around me, alright?”

Johann bites the inside of his cheek. His heart is pounding in his chest. So he has noticed.

“I just want to ask what it is. Bro to bro. ‘Cause if I didn’t make the move today, Brad Bradson was gonna step in. You probably don’t want that.”

“You’re sure as hell I don’t,” Johann says with a seethe. He is picking at the soft barbs on his quill, a nervous habit he has when he’s at his deck. “I… I don’t want him to come. I don’t even want an issue with you.”

Magnus runs his hand through his dark, messy hair. He is smiling. Has it been mentioned enough that he’s smiling? Johann keeps noticing it, staring at it, unable to get it out of his head. Keeps envying it. “Well, I’m glad you don’t want an issue with me, but you clearly do. Just open up with me, dude, I can take it. Pinky promise.”

He might be putting up a front. That’s probably the more likely answer, but in this moment of being confronted and cornered, Johann hates that Magnus is so open. How could he possibly not be affected by whatever mean thing Johann has to say? 

“How do you have that confidence? ” Johann blurts out loud. He thinks he’s going to regret it, but even after a whole two seconds after he let it out, he can’t help but feel liberated. 

Magnus’ deep brown eyes are wide, staring up into Johann’s own. For once, Magnus is quiet. Johann should shut up and be quiet, too. He’s good at doing that. Yet he can’t stop talking. “You’re confident. You're friendly. You talk an absolute shitton without any regard of what people think about that. Everybody likes you so much, even the fucking Voidfish!” he yells, pointing at the large jellyfish to accentuate his point. The Voidfish sings a long E note in response.

“You— you contrast me in every single aspect of our personality possible. I don’t have an issue with you. I just… dislike what it gets you. What I don’t get because I'm not like you in any regard. How even a giant jellyfish I’ve been feeding for almost two years now is swayed by you in almost an instant!”

Johann slumps in his desk chair. The Voidfish’s light calms him down from his sudden outburst, enough for him to realize what he just did. “That’s… that’s stupid, I know. Childish. Even when I know, I can’t help it.”

Magnus stands up from his place next to the tank. Then he walks over to Johann’s desk, and leans his arms straight on it, so he can be at eye level with Johann. Their faces are a little too close for comfort, but Johann can’t bring himself to move back. “Look, man. Gonna be honest with you. You only think this way about me because you don’t actually give yourself the chance to get to know me,” he says. He sounds surprisingly mature, a little different than the Magnus he’s used to. Johann’s not sure how to feel about this shift in tone.

“I’m sure if we got to know each other, you’d find we have stuff in common! Stuff that, y’know, can have an effect on people the same way you think I do with people.” Magnus is choosing his words very carefully, sounding very stilted in some areas, but his message is clear.

Johann rubs the back of his now-sweaty neck. He feels hot and flushed, and he has to be thankful for the Voidfish’s light obscuring some of his nervous sweat. “Yeah, uh, you’re right. Sorry, you’re right,” he says, keeping eye contact with Magnus. It feels so much easier to do than earlier. 

“So, let’s start over! Let’s just put this behind us now and try to become friends,” Magnus says. His face is highlighted by the Voidfish’s light, his features softer as he proposes this to Johann. “ If you want to, obviously. Can’t exactly force you to be my friend like I did with Taako and Merle, you feel me?”

“Yeah… yeah, I feel you. We can do that.”

Magnus is glowing with sincere happiness. He raises his arms, outspread and wide, in that position that Bureau members know mean an incoming, bone-crushing hug. He goes in for the hug, saying, “C’mere, then—”

Johann puts his hands up in front of him to stop Magnus. “New rule if we’re gonna get to know each other better: don’t touch me without asking.”

Magnus instantly drops his arms straight to the side. “Heard ya loud and clear!” he says. A beat passes, Magnus nervously looking down at Johann, before he raises those arms again, slower and smaller than before. “Can we hug?” he asks.

Johann bites his lip. It would be a lie to say he’s totally chill with Magnus now after one conversation. For some reason, however, Johann feels more open to the idea of a Magnus hug. He stands up from his desk chair and stretches out his arms as stiff as a board. “...Fine.”

“Woo! Awesome choice!!” Magnus shouts and throws his arms around Johann’s shorter frame with an unbelievable strength. The hug is so warm and welcoming, a Magnus special, or whatever he called it. It is overwhelming for the first few seconds, but Johann finds himself relaxing ever so slightly into Magnus’ hug. 

It’s… not as bad as I thought, is all Johann can get himself to admit to himself.

Magnus’ charm strikes again.

it has been a WHOLE MINUTE since i've posted here (which is a good sign tbh)

my posts here are usually me ranting about how my life sucks but honestly it's been going great!

i find myself coming back here and talking bc i find it as my safe space and a whole ass diary for me to just pour my feelings on without being insecure of how people are going to react.

anywayssss, yes i actually have a lot going on lmao :,) i only got one more year until i get my degree so it's just the home stretch. i have been working a lot less recently, but i just got scheduled to work five days next week so thats kinda rough. i also recently been going back to the gym and i feel 100% better with how i view my body and how i feel with myself as well. my back problems kinda resolved itself when i started working out so i find that as a good sign.

one thing tho that led me back here is how shitty tonight was. yes i enjoy my job but not to the point where i feel imprisoned. i enjoy talking to my regular customers and whatnot but there comes to a time after my shift when i just want to relax and eat then talk to my boyfriend. sometimes i just don't feel like i'm wanted in general. my actions behind the scenes never gets acknowledged and i just felt like its all a waste of time. i always thought that karma was real and if i did good things then id receive good things back. i just feel very stupid sometimes idk i put in a lot of effort but it just doesn't get reciprocated back.

i just want to feel ok. i care too much so i just want it to seem like im not doing anything thats been taken for granted. i just want to live for once.

(i wanna work at a bookshop but want to get more experience first!!) but also. each time i fail, i know i always get up. like each time i got rejected for an internship, i was down for a few weeks until i picked myself back and went to another library etc. it's ok to fail !! doesn't mean you should stop pursuing what you wanna do. <33

Sleeping (+morning routine) headcanons for some genshin boys

A/n: hello ladies and gentlemen I'm happy to announce that I may be back now that my life has decided to stop throwing endless shit at me. Now I also write for genshin so feel free to send asks in my inbox!!

Warnings: nightmares for xiao, favoritism in diluc's part, purposeful misspelling and slander in C*ilde's part,overall tooth rotting fluff

Zhong li

Sleeps like a rock (pun intended)

This man will not wake up unless there is an emergency

No matter how much noise you make or whatever is going on around him he'll stay there laying in bed completely silent

His breathing is so quiet you think he's dead half the time if not for his endless sleep talking

And you can actually have full on conversations with him while he's asleep

Also he sleeps in a solider position which leaves you to cling on him like a koala on a big ass tree

Sleeps in really soft bamboo pyjamas that you bought for him

Zhong li will only wake up at exactly 7:30 am no matter if it's a week day or a weekend/ his day off

He also doesn't stay in bed for more than 10 minutes unless as stated before its his day off and you aren't awake yet

The man will stay there taking in the sunshine rays from the window as he's looking at your peaceful face

After an hour or two hell rub your back and gently wake you up with forehead kisses while softly calling your name

When you finally wake up you usually start with the morning hygiene and whatnot

Also he will ask you if you want to take a morning bath together but absolutely respects you decision if you won't and you don't need to even give him a reason you declined in the first place but will make sure you know he loves you no matter what

After that he will sit down with you and drink tea and have breakfast with you for the next two hours

It's the only reason he wakes up so early

Menace to society

He either sleeps sprawled out in a starfish position with his arm and leg over your body or in a fetal position with his face buried in your breasts/chest

He usually sleeps in your clothes or in his everyday clothes

His little snores are super cute tho

Venti's snoring isn't super loud, it's actually really quiet but still there

Since he's a bard he stays at the Angel's share until it closes which is usually very late into the night so he sleeps until like 2pm

He isn't a heavy sleeper so you usually accidentally wake him up if you have some errands to run early in the morning

Venti will cling to you and pretend that he's asleep so that you can stay in bed with him

After like 20 minutes of this he finally let's you go and makes you promise him that you'll be back quickly

When you returned to your shared house from doing commissions you found him still sleeping in the bed so you quietly took a shower and snuggled in with him for another hour or two

After he finally wakes up for real this time he has breakfast lunch with you and goes off to Angel's share but not before giving you a thousand kisses

Kaeya

He's sleep schedule is ON POINT

He always gets back from Angel's share at exactly 1:00am, showers, eats and does his skin care routine and gets in bed around 1:30am

He also wakes up at exactly 9am but stays in bed until ten

He trashes through the night, he also talks in his sleep but it really weird and it's mostly things that are in English but you can't understand them at all

Kaeya is also a blanket snatcher and will snatch your blanket if you aren't holding it tightly

I feel like he also sleeps with socks on but has a few special pairs of socks that have some cute patterns that he would rather be caught working with the fatui by his own brother than wear them outside once

Also sleeps in silk pyjamas, doesn't care if the cotton ones are easier to breathe through, he likes the feeling of silk on his skin

Kaeya loves his personal space and he doesn't like to be touched while he sleeps but makes up for it when he's awake but still in bed

The only exception is when it's cold outside, I headcannon he's naturally cold and he doesn't like it at all

His morning routine is 90% of him taking care of his face and showering

His skincare routine is also more expensive than some people's houses so don't touch his products plz

Kaeya will gladly teach you the basics of skin care and will buy you your own products that thinks will suit your skin better

He's also almost late to work every day so every day you see him put on his shoes calmly, take in a deep breath and then he kisses you goodbye and runs off like a mad man in order to get to the headquarters on time

Diluc

He has so much unprocessed trauma I would be surprised is sleep schedule is anything but a mess

Diluc doesn't sleep a lot, he would have a normal sleep schedule but since he has a lot of stuff to do all the time it stops him from sleeping property

Not only does he work as a bartender at Angel's share when Charles can't he also works as the Mondstat's one and only Dark Night Hero

He usually comes home around 4 or 5 am and will only sleep until like 8 and you will have to force him to have a nap in the afternoon

Also he sleeps in his everyday clothing and he's sometimes too tired to even take his coat off

Diluc sleeps on his stomach which causes him to have back and neck problems but it's the only way he can actually fall asleep

He's a really light sleeper which also adds up to his sleeping problem

Also he snores loudly, like really loudly, and he only snores at night for some weird reason

You discovered that because one day you accidentally woke up at like 6 am and you couldn't fall back asleep because of his loud snoring but you didn't dare to move since you knew how little rest he gets

He's not a morning person at all, if he didn't hate alcohol, he would be the person that chugs half a bottle of vodka in the morning just to keep him awake

Diluc usually starts his morning off with some personal hygiene and then starts doing the endless paperwork without even having breakfast or anything to drink

So out will have to force him to eat and drink so that he doesn't pass out from work

On the rare days he doesn't have any work to do he usually sleeps them off to make up for the time he didn't sleep

Albedo

Chalk boy over here also has a terrible sleep schedule

He's not really forcing himself to stay up but rather doesn't realize how late it is

You will have to pull him out of his work in order for him to go to sleep

Albedo has a special pair of pyjamas that he wears when he's sleeping and he only wears them because for his last birthday Klee has given him a pair of pyjamas that were originally grey but she hand painted them herself with the help of Jean and Lisa and he's been sleeping in them ever since

And when i say every day I mean every day

But don't worry he hand washes them every two days and takes special care of them in order to not wash of the fabric paint

His snores are also really quiet and quite cute, I recommend commenting on that if you wanna see him blush ^-^

Albedo usually sleeps on his stomach but unlike Diluc he is small enough to not crush you under his weight so he usually sleeps with his head on your stomach or buried in your neck

Pease touch his hair he melts when you do

Albedo can sleep for a looonng time if you don't wake him up so he relies on you to wake him up or else he'll spend the next 16 hours in bed sleeping without a care in the wold

When he wake up he does his usual morning routine, which is usually a quick shower, breakfast, brushing his teeth and his hair out, and then goes off to work

He will absolutely make you have a nap with him in the afternoon or whenever he feels tired

Xiao

He doesn't sleep much, hell I don't this man sleeps at all sometimes

Adepti don't really require sleep or food like normal humans do

It took a lot of time for him to trust you enough to sleep besides him

Xiao doesn't feel safe while sleeping at all, he also fears that his karmic dept might take affect on you so he keeps his distance for quite some time

For the first month or two he would wear his normal every day clothes but then you gift him a cute plain green onesie and at first he straight up refused to put 'that thing' on but he gave in and hasn't sleep in anything else since

At first he would be the big spoon so that he can protect you from any harm but when you spooned him for the first time he felt so safe and warm he never wanted to let go of that feeling ever again

After that he would ask you under his breath if you could spoon him more often, you barely understood what he was saying but perfectly understood what he wanted and needed.

He also regularly has nightmares which causes him to trash around and maybe whack you in the face once or twice but you're quick to calm him down

Xiao never really realized that he was hurting you until he gently hugged you and you winced because he accidentally touched the small mark he left the previous night after having another nightmare

Doesn't touch you or sleep with you for a week after that, he already hurt you enough but you don't really care so you coaxed him into sleeping with you again very easily since he missed your warmth a lot

He doesn't really have a morning routine but he does wake up every morning before you so that he can teleport to the Huaguang Stone Forest to pick some Qingxin flowers for you

He's also gets back into your arms right before you wake up so that it seems like he never left in the first place

But you always notice the new fresh bouquet of the beautiful white flower on your desk and thank him for it

Turbulence sleeps exactly one hour less than normal people but makes it seem like he gets like 2 hours of sleep per night

"Ugh I didn't sleep last night at all😩😏" Like bro stfu

He also makes jokes about sleeping so little because he was with you last night or that he was training so hard or doing a mountain of paper work

While you know damn well he was with you entire night sleeping like a baby right by your side

He sleeps naked solely so that one day when a hypothetical intruder gets into your home he can scare them off by yelling at them while being completely naked 💀

But he will put a pair of pyjamas on if you're uncomfortable

He mostly sleeps on his side because he needs to hold something while he's sleeping, if you aren't with him that night he will hug your pillow and sleep like that

Tagliatelle also doesn't like to sleep when in a cold room so he will have one of those water bottles that people use for back pain and will put one in the pillow he's holding and two in the blanket itself

He's totally a morning person and has no problem with getting out of the bed in less than like 10 minutes unless you ask him not to

If he has a day off he won't sleep in that much but he will curl up beside you and 'accidentally' place his head on your boobs/chest

Y'all saying Terrorism is the caring older brother? WRONG he's the forgotten middle child. we ofc know about Tonia, Anthon and Teucer but he also has two older brothers and at least one older sister

I feel like he's the middle child that had to take all the responsibilities when the older three/four moved out

do the daily and weekly tasks!: these give rewards each day/week that will help you in card leveling, overall player leveling, and collecting s-chips. sometimes events happen which add new tasks to do for certain rewards so like, basically whenever you see an Exclamation Point Icon anywhere, check it out! theres gonna be stuff to do and rewards to get from it

level up your cards!: if im remembering my own experience starting out, i recall that the debate power increase through the main story was a little bit steep in the beginning jHVKSJHDF. i used to get on by just fine with the EXP from debates itself leveling cards, but that quickly didnt give my deck enough juice. level em up with oracles so u can smoothly go thru the main story :D

take ur time exploring not just the story but also just the sheer amount of other stuff going on in the game: i was overwhelmed when i started, and i started on this game's Release. there was Less Stuff. idk how it must be for ppl coming in now, when theres More Stuff omg. but it's chill, take ur time, theres a bunch of neat stuff to discover

(idk how intuitive/already obvious these might already be, but when i started out i had no idea how these types of games worked so it took me a while to realize there were MORE STORIES JHSDJFH so i'll mention these tips too, aka tips i wish i knew in august of 2021, HAHA)

read card stories/content: every card you have that is not an R card (so the SSR, SR, and MR), has either a 6 part story in them to read or 2 audio messages for you to listen to and they are Wonderful. dont sweat it tho if u dont have a card and u wanna know its content, by this point, nearly everything is recorded on youtube so u can easily watch what u dont have!

play the boys' personal stories!: aside from the main story (which are the cases and investigations) each nxx boy has personal stories u can find by going to Ur Phone In The Game -> Click On Guy Of Choice -> Lower Right Corner.

if ur interested in nxx team plots outside of the main story, check out past events and their plots on yt!: the event plots are a Treasure Trove of interesting case stories And full ensemble cast interactions. i love this game the best tbh when i see the whole team interacting with each other, so i adore event plots. sadly, nearly all of the events that are done cannot be accessed anymore to newcomers in the game itself, but they can still be watched on yt. buuut thats just nearly all of the events which leads me to my next tip that rlly isnt a tip but simply just my personal recommendation as an intense enjoyer of this game---

download and play through the Mysteries of the Lost Gold event: the Lost Gold event originally ran through september of 2021, but it's been made available permanently as downloadable content in the game no matter when you start playing!! i highly recommend this event. it's by far still my favorite event in this whole game (everything from interesting plot/case to fun gameplay to delicious characterization, I REALLY LOVE LOST GOLD OK!! THIS IS A LOST GOLD STAN ZONE!!)

anyhoo, this event can be accessed by going to X-NOTE Story -> lower and rightmost button Event -> upper and rightmost button Past -> download Mysteries of the Lost Gold

Lucifer: Stays in HoL but possibly renovates it a little bit to have more privacy. (as a compromise in case you reaaally didn't want to stay there - now you have your own bathroom + a small kitchen)

His brothers still depend on him so you continue to share family moments. (which isn't too bad, Lucifer is usually busy so sometimes you might actually want their company) Though now you get noticeably more alone time together - which makes him realize how it would've been a good idea to actually move out (he'd immediately regret that tho because he very care family).

Helps out with chores most of the time. Going OUT on dates is a must at least once a week or so otherwise both of you lose your minds. Nothing else changes, really. Mammon: More likely to move in with you in the human world but would (slightly) prefer the Devildom. (he'd only do that tho if he can secure a spot in a safer area for your sake. even if you are a powerful sorcerer.) Paying rent&bills is going to require hustle which might be a reason why you have to move back into HoL. (though...in canon if he is in love with u, u get rich even if u do nothing...so that'd be handy in this case) Definitely enjoys how he gets to keep you for himself and he is living for the small moments with you (such as morning cuddles) but also! with you everything is much more fun, even if both of you work multiple shifts; after each day you are so tired you can barely watch a movie. Both of you visit HoL on the regular.

Leviathan: The only reason he'd do it is to get more alone time with you. Would take ages to actually do it, but he'd prefer to live in the human world with you (it's safer + its better for anime and gaming). (Lucifer is against the idea which also slows down the process but he eventually gives in). You'd probably have an apartment in a city with fast internet connection (dw he's done his research) and where you can afford rent. He works from home (either esports or programming) so he is always there to greet you when you get home. Decorates the entire apartment with figurines and posters plus there is never enough space for him. Henry is there also. You'd think he cooks / bakes and you'd be wrong. 92% of the time it's take-out food time. Definitely needs help with chores at first but gets the hang of it easily. Occasionally you visit HoL.

Satan: Definitely would rather moving out and renting an apartment. I think he'd prefer the human world. I feel like he'd want to change cities often (every 3-5 yrs or so). He is a curious demon and there is always so much to learn about humans. Very domestic. Does the chores and he does them well. You can never complain. Somehow can balance work & you & chores. (probably needs explanation sometimes with equipment he isn't familiar with but we can excuse that) Every weekend is date weekend where you learn something new about each other and the culture of the country. Asmo visits every month or so & stays for ~3 days.

Asmodeus: hmm...i think he'd let you decide on the realm but he picks the exact location. He picks a very busy area with rich nightlife, but to your surprise he only participates like a couple of times a week, usually with you. Listen he adores being with you. Posts about your life together very often. Would start a new vlogging channel if you'd let him. Rent & bills are No Big Deal, though at first he is shocked at how expensive they are. Is fine with most of the chores but since he refuses to do the dishes, when it's him on dinner duty you both go on a date instead. Beelzebub: Refuses to move out if Belphie can't come, unless it's literally the house next to HoL. (/closest to. i'm not sure if they have like. a close neighbour) Rather domestic, does the chores and puts in work to get the bills. Sometimes you might not find him at home - he is either getting groceries or decided to visit Belphie. Would rather have a movie night with you than going out on a date. Depending on what kind of house it is, he might pick up gardening as a hobby. Belphegor: Similar to his twin he'd prefer staying close to him if possible, but if that can't happen he's fine with moving in with you in the human world. (yes he prefers that over the Devildom) Lucifer doesn't like this idea at all so you probably need to convince him.

Bills might be an issue as he keeps losing jobs but you can't really blame him for that, can you. Regaring chores, he only does the groceries, vacuuming, laundry, and changing sheets, everything else is up to you. Every Sunday you spend sleeping in & cuddling. Beelzebub visits you every week, usually on the weekends.

Barbatos: Hm... I think you'd probably need to move in the castle, or a small apartment very near. It is because of his job obviously, can't help it.

As he is the royal butler I imagine you wouldn't need to worry about bills / rent because. Yeah. Chores, on the other hand, fall on you very often - sometimes his job requires him to be there 24 hours a day. Even when he has more break time he'd rather not do chores at home as well because then he'd literally have no time left to spend with you.
