This is a livable space.#I've helped out friends and family who were struggling and let me just say...I have seen some pretty dysfunctional living spaces.#Hell I've *lived* in some very dysfunctional living spaces.#Hording dishes under the bed was always something that grossed me out but it's unfortunately something I've seen people do way too often.#The horror everyone has upon walking into WWX's 'living' set up is so consistently 'Mate how are you living like this?'#It's honestly so integral to me that WWX's 'just left home for the first time' house/room be a depression/dysfunction pit.#You can learn a lot about someon's state of mind from how they keep their living space...and this guy is oozing 'deep depression'.#I don't think he's eaten anything but foods that classify as a struggle meal in a year.#Everyone is trying to stage an intervention but he just isn't in a good enough place to help himself.#By the way: I want to steer away from shaming people who have messy homes/rooms because life *does* hit hard sometimes.#My love language is coming into your home to do your dishes and do some housework. Don't apologize for the mess king.#Nothing could top some of the places I've had to help my older siblings out of.#I'd be okay with my flatmate having a severed limb and a blood pool at this point.#As long as he lets me take out the dishes from under the bed - We're good! My standards are so low at this point.

So there's this old guy I work with who keeps trying to convert me. And he know I like classic rock, so his main attempt usually revolves around trying to get me to watch some "Jesus Revolution" about Christianity's role in '60s music or whatever.

And tonight, he pulled that shit with me wearing a goddamn Motley Crue shirt right in front of him, like there wasn't a bright red fucking pentagram staring directly into his soul the whole time I was like, "Nope, still haven't watched it, dude. And, unrelated, wouldn't it be weird if 'Mother' by Danzig was one of my favorite songs of all time? That'd be crazy. Anyway, see you around."

#I always get so damn disappointed when I'm talking to someone and I realize they're just doing it to get me to join their church.#Sometimes people pull it out immediately #sometimes it takes a few days or weeks #sometimes it takes years.#But goddammit it never stops sucking. Realizing you're just a mark to these people.#Congrats on being the reason I'm always immediately apprehensive any time someone I'm talking to gives any indication they're Christian.#And you know despite the bright red pentagram staring this guy in the face #the only band t-shirt he's ever outright complained about for religious reasons was my Bob Dylan shirt.#I don't even LIKE Bob Dylan much. This shirt's a hand-me-down. I like two songs of his maybe.#But the second this guy was like 'But he's JEWISH' I was instantly defensive as shit of him.#You gonna start coming up to ME to convert ME to your religion and get mad at me for wearing the shirt of a guy belonging to a different on #you gotta be out of your fuckin' mind.

When I was a kid, and there basically was no Okami merchandise (at least not that I could find or afford back then), I got my own Ammy, a webkinz husky. Her markings were needle felted onto her by my mom, I made recreations of her weapons out of cardboard and markers, and she came with me everywhere. I’ve had her for probably over 15 years, and I have lots more Okami merch now, but she will always be the most special piece of Okami merch I own.

#better drawn mdzs #mdzs #wei wuxian #lan wangji #I was really looking forwards to this redraw - though the jump in skill isn't as dramatic as the last one I still am proud of my progress!#It's really incredible to look back on this last year and how much has happened since then.#Both in my personal life and this blog.#I started the second season while I was going through some pretty rough times and it truly kept my sanity afloat.#I challenged myself a lot more this year! And while it didn't always turn out the way I hoped-#-being messy and earnestly trying to do something different has been my favourite part of art.#There will always be a lot of room to grow - I don't think art and creativity has a ceiling.#I went from doubting that I was even an artist to joining a gamedev team as the lead artist! That's character growth!#Thank you all once again for joining me on this journey B*)#Thank you for all the messages and support you have sent my way these last 18 months.#I'm so happy to have been given the chance to create something for this community. Every year Akio Ohtori loans his sister out to a bunch of teenagers, grooms said teenagers, makes all of them fight each other several times, does irreparable emotional damage, hopefully THOROUGHLY cleans the inside of his car because Christ alive.

And all of this, all these surreal, intricate rituals, are so he can lose a sword fight with a door.

This has happened multiple times. He doesn't even seem particularly upset about failing. Every year Akio Ohtori loses a sword fight with a door and somehow does not feel like an absolute clown. Could NOT be me, I would never try again. I would lie awake at night every night after the first attempt agonizing about how stupid I must have looked and how my sister absolutely would have laughed at me if all the organs she needed to do so weren't getting shish-kebabed six ways to Sunday.
