OMG RAVEN YOU’RE INTO EVER AFTER HIGH? I love it but can’t talk about it bc none of my friends have seen it 😭 I wish it was talked about more, especially with how deep their lore runs. I love EAH’s dynamics with the complexities of destiny. If twst followed the same logic as eah’s world it would be so interesting. How would you feel if the worlds were to mesh together and how it would work? You can interpret that in any way you want; the characters meeting or twst being bound to the same rules and societal expectations of eah, or whatnot.
Also who’s your favorite eah character compared to your favorite twst character (Leona)?Jade, right?
And have you read the eah books? I haven’t, but I’m going to try to sometime!
Eah alt account when?
I'm still salty that the Monster High x Ever After High crossover movie never saw the light of day-- Part of the reason why I don't like Disney (I mean the faceless corpo, not all Disney products) is because they have such a strong association with fairy tales that it pushes other interpretations out of the market or it leads to people assuming Disney "owns" those fairy tales. Ever After High's lore and themes run so much deeper than most other fairy tale reimaginings I've seen (and I've seen a lot). It's such a shame it doesn't get the respect and recognition it deserves even though EAH is the one out here challenging the status quo whereas modern Disney is content with mediocrity that appeals to the masses.
I think EAH and TWST, at their cores, share similar ideas so combining them would work well. Friendship, self-identity, defining your own future, questioning what "good" and "evil" truly are... It's all there. I'd imagine that if Twisted Wonderland (or at least NRC) followed the same rules as EAH, then everyone would be descendants of their Disney counterparts. (This is actually a common misperception of what TWST was to new fans; people mistakenly believe the TWST characters are children of the classic Disney villains. This has never been canon.) Unfortunately, I'd have to take away the Disney villains being twisted to be "good" guys in Twisted Wonderland's world in order for this to work by EAH rules, so... There's that to consider. This, in turn, can result in the student body splitting into Royals (pro-following one's destiny) and Rebels (anti-following one's destiny). Perhaps RSA and NRC could be one school in this AU...? Just so we have a mix of "good" and "evil" descended children in the same vicinity as one another. A must-have are the constantly bickering Narrators!! It's only really when Yuu shows up that the majority opinion starts to shift. Maybe then Crowley becomes concerned with students rising up and fighting back against the system that relies on them being complacent to keep the cycle of stories going. I've seen some readings of EAH which theorize that Royals guaranteed a happy ending is a stand-in for privilege, and that interpretation leads into very interesting conflicts when we also consider that magic in Twisted Wonderland is a privilege afforded to few.
To cover just the dorm leaders (because covering all the TWST characters would make this post way longer), I definitely see Riddle, Kalim, Idia, and Malleus as Royals and Leona, Azul, and Vil as Rebels. Here's my thought process:
Riddle is pretty self-explanatory. He comes from a background where he's used to being told what to do by his mother and so he also heavily relies on her strict, unyielding teachings to play by the book when he goes out there in the real world. Riddle is inflexible and hesitant to go against the grain--and, more importantly, he fully believes that following the rules will lead to his happiness... that doing as his fairy tale ordains will lead to a happy ending. What happens to the Queen of Hearts is dubious in the end since it's framed as Alice's dream, so I think that vagueness gives Riddle hope that by behaving himself, he'll earn the happiness he desires.
Leona is a Rebel, and not just because that's the aesthetic of his dorm. Being that he is highly intelligent and demonstrates a lot of foresight, he'd be aware of what future is in store for him and aggressively fighting against that. It would make him more desperate than ever to prove his worth, because not only does everyone see his powers as terrifying, but they also see him as a future brother murderer and dictator that will bleed the land dry of resources. It'd make the situation with his family even more strained than it already is, not to mention the extra jealousy he must feel toward Cheka, who is still too young to understand what's going to happen later.
Azul is someone who acts like a Royal but is actually a Rebel. He acts polite and like he plays by the rules, but clearly he doesn't behind the scenes. I see Azul as the kind of Rebel akin to Duchess Swan... as in, he believes he can steal away someone else's destiny for himself. Azul would constantly be looking for loopholes to save himself. He's put way too much stock into becoming a better, stronger person and he'd want to defend this new life he has made for himself. His obsession with protecting his contracts could translate well here.
Kalim is a Royal because he's mega rich and has been sheltered from the concept of bad things that happen to normal people; he has nothing to worry about. It also helps that Kalim is twisted from a character that doesn't meet a bad ending. I think he'd be aware of Jami's doomed destiny, but Kalim is so ignorant that he thinks it'll just be fine and it'll work itself out. Part of his growth could be being forced to reckon with the reality that Jamil is suffering under the legacy assigned to him and accepting the role that he plays in that by not acting.
Idia is a Royal--or at least pre-book 6 Idia is. He's a very pessimistic guy and repeatedly expresses hopelessness about the future, bemoaning the curse he and his family have to bear. Idia doesn't want to try to fight his fate, he's already accepted that it will happen and so closes himself off from others to save himself that heartbreak. Post-book 6 Idia will have swapped over to the Rebel side thanks to Ortho reviving the hope in him.
Vil is a Rebel simply for the fact that he fights social conventions. He's already out here shattering gender roles, but finds it much harder to breach that expectation that villains are just villains and nothing more. Vil keeps getting rejected at every turn, told that it's impossible to rewrite his story, that his frustrations are the natural result of jealousy and an ugly heart that festers in side of him. He steels himself to prove that notion wrong, working himself to the bone to get up on that stage and stay on it, waiting to be lavished with praise that he truly is the fairest one of all. I feel this would be so fascinating for Vil's own arc about self acceptance; maybe he wears himself down emotionally because he HAS to basically be perfect due to his job but also denies himself normal feelings like anger and jealousy because confessing that you have such "ugly" feelings only validates that you're shallow just like the stories say you will be.
Malleus is a tough one, but I settled for Royal in the end. Maleficent is doomed to be slain by a sword, right? So am I saying that THE Malleus Draconia, who is infamously arrogant about his magical abilities, would lie down and take a stab like that? Of course not! However, I do think that Malleus is initially someone who values tradition and living up to noblesse oblige. As the future ruler of a nation, people's stories are relying on him to play his expected role out, which he'd be fully cognizant of. I also think Malleus would be afforded the luxury of not having to face his destiny as soon as his peers are due to his long life span. This is in part because the person destined to slay him doesn't come into his life for literally hundreds of years. Then when book 7 arrives, Malleus has to deal with his loved ones leaving and/or betraying him as well as the realization that this is his destiny: dying alone and unloved. That'd just break him.
ahdbiqwdbqwli I COULD TALK ABOUT THIS AU FOR FOREVER BUT I'LL CUT IT SHORT OR ELSE I'LL NEVER SHUT UP 😭
EAH has so many good characters and interesting storylines, it's hard for me to pick a favorite! I of course love Apple and Raven's dilemmas, but I feel like it's cheating to pick one of them as my favorite. The whole Wonderland gang is also fantastic... I'm a sucker for their aesthetic, but they're so fun and silly in general. Kitty, Lizzie, and especially Madeline are 👌
Mmm, when I think long and hard about it, I think my favorite EAH character has to be Briar Beauty, daughter of Sleeping Beauty. Firstly, I love all the pink, roses, and bramble in her design. Secondly, I love the layers to why she is the way she is. Briar's a party girl not because "lmao, wouldn't that be a funny haha subversion of Sleeping Beauty" but because she wants to live life up before she falls asleep for 100 years and literally loses all her friends and family to the natural passage of time. That's seriously so smart and such an inventive way to think about the trauma a descendant of Sleeping Beauty might have. Seeing Briar transition from one of Apple's besties and biggest supporters to an outright rebel is satisfying as heck. (Gotta take a moment to shout out this classic moment :3)
I don't know if I would compare Briar to Jade since they're entirely different characters. However, looking at the source material, I'm actually surprised I like Briar as much as I do since I have never cared for the story of Sleeping Beauty. A part of me finds this ironic since Malleus harbors a similar fear as Briar (losing loved ones) yet I see Malleus's desire as way more selfish and self-serving than Briar's. I believe that's because Briar doesn't have the same arrogance as Malleus, so I'm more forgiving with her. EAH's actual equivalent to Malleus is Faybelle, daughter of the Dark Fairy, but I don't like her as much as I do Briar (hence why I'm comparing Malleus and Briar, not Malleus and Faybelle).
I haven't read the EAH books but I want to one day! I'd prefer to borrow them since I don't have enough space in my room for more physical books, so as soon as I find copies at a library or something...
This blog has kind of become a place where I occasionally talk about my other interests, generally as it relates to TWST, my main interest. I'd like to keep it like this since managing multiple blogs can be so draining. It already takes quite a bit of time to regularly write responses to asks just on one blog!

Chill's ramblings about the DCA fandom and personal feelings and issues towards TSAMS (both positive an negative):
(I'm writing this like an essay but treating it like a diary, so if I jump from subject to another, it is because I am just typing as the thoughts hit my head. Sorry for being so wordy.)
I simply feel like I need to write my thoughts down, so why not share them with you. Maybe you can validate my feelings or something, I don't know.
Intro:
So, oof, I got a fic rec from @thedenofravenpuff and I'm loving it so much I really wanna draw fan art for it...
But the problem is that it's a TSAMS fanfic and I've sworn to my name I'll never draw anything related to the show because that will make me engage with a part of the fandom I'm not comfortable with.
My biggest issue with TSAMS:
I have such complicated feelings towards the show and its fanbase and I do not wish to make my life and work more difficult because of it as it already is.
My own work and characters are already constantly being compared to TSAMS. When I first introduced Solar to my fic, he was constantly being referred to Eclipse from TSAMS. Now that the show had a character with THE SAME NAME, it has been even worse.
Dolldrop Moon has been compared to Lunar. Even though the dolldrops existed before the youtube channel was even created (and Lunar made his debut much later).
The biggest issue I've had has always been the fanbase, that takes the show as the canon for Sun and Moon from FNAF and uses it as an excuse to harass shippers like me because they think Sun and Moon are brothers.
I've first handedly seen the damage the fanbase has done to some of my friends who draw, or have previously drawn art for the show besides their own AUs and personal headcanons of Sun and Moon as lovers. I'm sorry to tag you, but @kriimhild and @fablekitty : I've seen how the immature side of the show's fans have treated you, I am so terribly sorry you've had to defend yourselves over and over again for things that were not meant to be mixed up.
I have posted some ideas of a possible Animutant Moon and Sun forming a polyamorous relationship with Solar in the future of "My Dear Daffodil" on my personal/adult Twitter account. Someone kept commenting on my posts that I was glorifying incest, because Sun and Moon were brothers and Solar was their cousin.
The post had "Animutant" in it. Not "TSAMS". These comments came from a person saying they were 19 in their profile. So it's not just kids who can't tell not every fanwork is about TSAMS. It's starting to be some adults too.
Vice versa I've had another person comment on my very clearly SFW Twitter how they're following me because I am an adult artist who draws TSAMS incest. I have never drawn TSAMS art. I ship Sun and Moon, but they're never related with family bond, because I love presenting them as lovers.
Why I ship Sun and Moon:
Because I am a hopeless romantic. I love romantic love. Every single story I write is always about love.
The only exception to this is the Poppy Playtime comic I am doing. But even then, I was originally planning for a romantic love between Dogday and the Player. Yet, I decided to leave it, and keep the relationship open for any type of representation the reader themselves will prefer.
I used to watch The Sun and Moon Show when it first started airing. I loved their playthroughs. I had a big distaste for them calling each other brothers, as well as some of the first "lore" videos they had. My biggest issue at the time was how Moon treated Sun, though. As someone who grew up with an abusive sibling, it sometimes just hit a bit too hard at home.
But it got better after Eclipse and Lunar appeared. Moon was more caring, and I started to really like his character development. There was one episode where Sun explained to Lunar that he and Moon had simply just "decided" to be brothers, despite not having a canonical relationship.
This actually made me really happy. Because the Old Moon was aroace, the love he felt was simply never meant to be romantic, but platonic. And by making Sun his brother by choice clearly indicated that Sun was always the one he loved the most - in a way that was suitable for aromantic person like him.
And it really made me enjoy the show for a while. Sun is my favourite character, and despite not always liking the way the show presents him, I always feel so much love for him, no matter the AU he is in. So I loved that Moon loved him more than anything, even if it was just platonic. Because I've always been under the impression that the canon Moon loves Sun, and is only under a virus to protect him. For me, the best part of any Sun and Moon AU is to know that Sun is the most important thing to Moon.
Why I stopped watching TSAMS:
And then that Moon I had really started to like, who loved Sun more than anyone else but just platonically, died.
It hurt so much I simply stopped watching the show. I've watched a few episodes here and there after that, but I am having a hard time liking the show the same as I did before.
Partially it's because of the fanbase. Partially it's because I don't find the lore very interesting and some of the stuff a bit repetitive. Partially it's because I am scared to see Sun eventually crumble up into madness, because he has been through so much.
I like the New Moon. He is funny and nice, what I've seen. His relationship with Solar has been interesting, and I genuinely hoped they would've been able to take the romantic route after Moon said he wasn't sure if he was aroace anymore. But as I said, I've only watched a few episodes after the old Moon died, so I don't know either of their characters that much to form any strong opinions about them. I just listen to the Monty and Puppet podcast once in a while and get a little inside to some of the lore that has been happening.
But hey, at least there's fanfics. Which is why I am rambling here today.
Fanfics:
It is a rare treat to find Sun x Moon fanfics that aren't simply just porn, or do not include reader inserts. So since my romance-filled brain needed something to fill the void, I've started reading some TSAMS fics with romance (that wasn't between Sun & Moon) and plot in them.
I know Solar was settled to be a "cousin" to the weird family tree of TSAMS. But I simply crave for Solar and New Moon to be at least queerplatonic. Solar is not from their dimension, no matter how much they decide they're 'cousins' it doesn't make him their real cousin or relative because they're not from the same world.
Sun and Moon are brothers but they technically gave birth to Eclipse, who then created Lunar so Eclipse is technically Lunar's parent and then brother and Lunar is Sun and Moon's brother and... do you see what I'm trying to say?
The family tree is so complicated that I don't think I'm a horrible person for shipping Moon and Solar and reading fics about them. Tell me if I am wrong though.
The FIC that is making me question everything:
So Puffy recommended this fic by @theinfamousdoctorf , "Eclipse Meets His Match".
I'm currently on chapter 40, and I am genuinely surprised how much I am liking this fic so far. It got everything; redemption and character growth, the representation of Sun as the good, glowing angel he is in my mind (for canon, and every AU. He is always perfect in my eyes I love him can you tell lol), slow-burn romance, drama, excitment, plot, jokes and funny moments... even if there are a lot of mentions of sex and sexual pleasure, it doesn't feel out of the place as there is so much more to it too.
Eclipse's redemption to become better and realising he is in love with Sun has been so interesting to follow. Sun deserves the love. I love when Sun is getting loved. I literally ship him with every other animatronic in the games and love it when people ship him with their self-inserts and OCs. Because I love him so much I want him to be loved in every possible universe he is in.
Even bigger bonus to this fic is the second pairing, Solar and Moon, which I already opened up about above. I don't know how much the fic is truthful to the canon lore of the show, but I wish to pretend this fic is the canon now /hj.
I love the characters and how they're written. I love the descriptions of their flaws and hopes and dreams. How vulnerable they can get. How closely they stick together. And as an appreciation for making me tearful and excited about fanfiction in such a long time, I would hope to be able to gift the author some fan art for their fic.
But I've sworn to not draw anything for the show. For my own good. I've got too many awful comments already from the fans of the show despite never doing any art for it. I am just scared it will turn things worse.
End words:
I don't know if creating a new alias would be the right choice. So my main name/account would be spared from the confusion that the show's fans seem to stirr into, where one tsams artwork turns all of the artist' work into tsams.
I don't care if the art style would be recognisible. The artist would be me, but not PixelChills. Just so I could gift something to the author of this fic that is currently saving me from the boredom of being unable to write my own.
Thank you.
(This text has been typed on my phone, so pardon for any typos).

God in the machine Synopis
In this Au the lamb is an ARG Youtuber, Whilst the goat is a true crime Youtuber (Who sometimes dabbles in urban exploring). (They are roomates btw)
Narinder is an Ai created by four scientists (The bishops) to test the limits of how lifelike an ai could become- but in the testing, he manifested wishes of anihilation of humanity, so the planning of creating his robot body in the future got cancelled, and he got trapped behind four "Bossfights" which are more similar to some sort of active firewall (or smth i really don't know computer shit).
At some point Narinder manages to escape his little corner and roots himself in the Lamb's Pc, as well as locking the scientists out of accessing their files, and with that, him.
To get freed, Narinder needs Both more power (inspired by the Muse ARG ) And the four bossfights to be defeated (Pony island style tell me you guys get it).
Narinder eventually makes himself known to the lamb and proposed them a mutually benecifial deal (totally) , so the Lamb could gain some fame and Narinder could get more powerful.
The whole thing is played off as an Arg by the lamb to their audience, because an actual rogue Ai would cause mass hysteria, even if the lamb doesn't Know He wants humanity to die :3
Also yes the followers are both meant to be like the ingame followers and a stand-in for devotion.
It's Not gonna be Narilamb, sorry about that, instead its gnna be Lamb x Goat Yuri >:3c
Edit: Have the "Lore doc" since I don't plan on writing the fanfic for this anytime soon and I want you guys to know the vague plot

please how did you come up with her design I've been trying to make a design for my poppy playtime oc but it always ends up looking like rubbish please give tips😭😭
Hello, thank you for asking! Truth be told is that it took me a bit to figure out how to do LoolaLamb in general, she didn't come out too well on the first try xD I had to tweak a couple of things in her like the hair, colors or snout.
Initially, I wasn't quite sure of what animal picking for her, but then I went with the lamb idea for a few reasons:
- When I was little, I used to have a lamb plush I used to love dearly. Sadly I don't have any pictures to show since I no longer have it with me so I tried to look for one that looked similar on the Internet- But that was the main inspiration for her character. And since the Smiling Critters have their own plushies as well, I thought it would be interesting to make one of them after a real toy. I also took reference from other characters in media that were based on sheeps, like in Pokémon (Flaaffy & Whimsicott).
I would always recommend using references if you ever don't know where to start with a design. And in the case of a Poppy Playtime OC, you can look for references if you desire as well, or even turn a beloved toy of yours into a character, anything works!
In many cultures, the lamb is a revered symbol of innocence, purity, and sacrifice. It is often associated with religious connotations, particularly in Christianity, where it symbolizes the embodiment of Christ's innocence and the sacrificial lamb offering redemption and atonement for humanity's sins. I simply liked the symbology of this because I'm always a sucker for that when it comes to creating characters;;
This was mainly due to lore reasons, her association with Catnap, a follower of an entity, the Prototype, whom he workships and would do anything to get its blessing. LoolaLamb "sacrified" her voice for the Prototype (well, it actually was that Catnap took away her voicebox with that excuse).
Her name "LoolaLamb" is a word play for "lullaby", given the role she was going to have in the Smiling Critters line, a replacement for Catnap who would have a similar role as his, except that instead of using a gas to make people fall asleep, she would use her voice. Sheeps and lambs are also heavily associated with sleep and dreams, given the advice: if you can't get to sleep, just “count sheep” until you drift off into a peaceful slumber.
Sheep are wanderers. It's their nature. Even in the best and safest of places, places that provide protection, water, and food, sheep are known to wander off, get lost, and sometimes eaten by predators.
Her color pick was mainly because even if the smiling critters have more or less the colors of the rainbow and there are already two blue colored critters (Bubba Bubbaphant being more of a neutral blue or azure and Craftycorn cyan or aquamarine), I noticed that there were no dark blue or indigo colored ones. My first idea for LoolaLamb was to give her more violet colors, given her correlation to Catnap, but at the same time I wanted her to stand out amongst the others, being a little more of her own character, so that´s why I ended up picking a different color pallete for her.
And those are pretty much the basic things I had in mind when creating LoolaLamb! Of course it doesn't always have to be so elaborated with all characters, but I'd always recommend to find references, information, symbolism, anything that might help you with the creation of your character in case you don't know where to start or are simply stuck!
I might not be the best when it comes to explaining things but I hope this has helped you and I wish you the best in your creative process, anon! 🙏🏻💖

My Love, Matthias… and the goddamn puppet (Matthias x afab!reader) pt.1
Warnings: Sexual innuendos, kissing with tongue, Louis..
A/N: I sort of headcannon Louis as a puppet that is possessed by a spirit. It sort of makes sense? With the lore. He has a childish personality, but I don’t necessarily see the spirit that possesses him to be a child.
Evenings like this always left you with a sweet and tender heart for Matthias. On this particular occasion, you had somehow convinced him to dance with you in your living room. It was a soft and sweet tune that played through the music box you had laid on the coffee table. Both of you had your hands on each other's shoulders with one on the side intertwined. Your head rested against his shoulder as you swayed side to side. Although no words were said, you both knew that you loved each other. You never wished for this moment to end.
You placed a gentle kiss on Matthias' neck, only moving a couple of centimeters to do so. A small blush creeped up onto his cheeks. He smiled softly at your loving gesture.
"I love you, dear." He whispered sweetly to you. Upon hearing those sweet words you loved so much, you raised your head up to make eye contact with him.
"I love you too, Matthias." You spoke in a gentle manner. You then felt your body move on its own. Your lips were against his in a matter of seconds. Matthias happily kissed back, his lips gently pressing against yours.
Matthias felt his heart swell with love as you continued to move your lips against his. He had never felt so loved in his entire life than he has with you. Never have you ever made him feel anything but loved and appreciated.
He continued to press his lips against yours. Gradually, you opened your mouth while kissing. He followed suit to match your lips. To his surprise, you stuck your tongue inside his mouth. He should have figured you would do that to him. He was often gullible enough to not see obvious signs that you were going to surprise him with some loving gesture or another. Matthias froze for a moment, but didn't resist as he didn't mind it. He was just surprised.
He opened his mouth wider and allowed your tongue to slip inside. It wasn't the first time you had done this, but he was always super shy about it. Slowly you explored his mouth with your tongue. Matthias couldn't help but whimper at how naughty it felt. He loved it so much he felt a little twang of pleasure rip through his body...
The sound of someone making a gagging noise was then heard. It sounded childlike and came from somewhere near the doorway into the living room. You slowly retracted from having your tongue inside Matthias' mouth and looked towards the source of the noise. Matthias did as well. Sitting on the chair next to the doorway was Louis, Matthias' cursed puppet. He sat still as he always pretended that he was not possessed when being stared at.
As your relationship with Matthias blossomed, you grew accustomed to his possessed puppet. It wasn't something he could get rid of and you understood that. It was creepy at first, but you soon found out that Louis never actually had ill intentions other than following Matthias around like a lost puppy and scaring the absolute shit out of everyone by hiding. Louis usually stayed silent, but sometimes he would speak when no one was looking at him.
You giggled softly upon realizing that it was Louis that had gagged. He always stayed quiet when you kissed or made out with Matthias. However, this was the first time you added tongue into the mix where Louis could obviously see. It was clear Louis was NOT into watching a couple getting it on.
"I don't think he liked that." You told Matthias as you continued to giggle. It was the first time you ever got a reaction out of Louis. It was hilarious. Matthias slowly smiled as he then found the situation funny.
"That's the first time he's ever done something like that." Matthias chuckled along with you. He lovingly stared into your eyes as you both laughed. Slowly you both regained composure and stood with your eyes locked for a moment.
"Hey.." You started as you leaned in to whisper into Matthias' ear. "I think I know of a way to make him go away.." You spoke slowly and softly to ensure Matthias understood every word you told him. He widened his eyes. He was completely oblivious to your innuendo.
"What is it?" He questioned curiously. You chuckled as you realized he was still in the dark. You then gently grabbed his hips and pulled him flush against your body. Matthias didn't pull away, he stood still as he let you guide him. He was still lost.
"I'm almost certain that if we start exploring each other's bodies.. he'll leave the room." You whispered further into his ear. At this point he had caught on. He blushed and felt another twang of pleasure flow through him. Just the thought of seeing your naked body was enough to turn him on.
"Y-You'd want to do that?" He stuttered. You nodded your head.
"I love you, Matthias. I'd be more than honored to make love with you right here and right now." You spoke gently. Matthias felt his heart swell with love. It was his first time for something like this, and your words made him feel comfortable to be able to do something like this with you.
"O-Okay.. let's make love."

@pix3lplays is back again~ not a request I promise, just a question for you because I’m genuinely curious~
So Nanook the Destruction am I right??
I always fall in love with the ones who would kill me, sigh.
But seriously the potential for yandere! Nanook is so important to me, they are sooo yandere coded~being their favorite little mortal that they’d do anything for…it wouldn’t happen but let me have my moment lol
Anyways I wanted to ask who your favorite aeon is. I tried, I tried so hard to keep it at Aha but…Nanook has swayed me to their side…the design?? The cold stare?? They are IMPORTANT to me.
Idk I think I have a chance with them (Pix is delusional) wish me luck~
No, no, come back Pixel, you are CORRECT. You are RIGHT.
I am so thirsty for Nanook. I don't even use that word often as I keep myself hydrated well.
As for my favorite Aeon.. not so sure. I'll have to catch up on the lore, but I'd say it would be the Aeon of Preservation, actually. [Edit: NOT PRESERVATION. I forgot who, but the one who has like.. all the mirrors and memories and stuff.... pls spare me.] {Another edit – it's Fuli!}
Fun fact, I thought Nanook was a playable character and got into hsr because of him, only to find out with disappointment that he is, in fact far from playable. Although Blade might substitute for an inverted Nanook.
But you're so right. I love Nanook. The yandere potential...
Being some Person™️ like out in the middle of who knows whatever planet, and waking up with the sheer, almost incomprehensible knowledge and fact that Nanook has his eyes on you.
Im not sure how exactly being in an Aeon's favor would work, but I imagine it's no easy work. Especially for someone like Nanook, who finds you, as tiny and insignificant, somewhat.. intriguing. Anyone blocking the now golden, burning path set ablaze in front of you is obliterated almost instantly. His favor works so much on you that sometimes you feel it settle thickly in your bones, the gold of his eyes burning through your tiny heart. No one dares to even look at you. Destruction follows the pattering of your feet, the favor rotting into a curse all too quickly, until you have no one left. You'll be forced to see him. To face him. To bear the fraction of a burden he intends to lay upon you for daring to catch his eye, despite being so pathetic and insignificant in the expanse of the universe. Your fragile, human body is laughable. But the curse that rots in your bones might ascend your vessel, if not aid you. In any case.. Nanook watches. His eyes are fixed on you. A vast, golden expanse always haunts your dreams. It is a contrast to the deathly stale black that comes with the wake of Destruction.

Hey so did family odd parents get a new series? Who’s the purple hair guy you ship with who I assume is Timmy. I just stumbled upon you blog by chance and I want to know what’s up with your blorbos.
Who are these people and why do I recognize them?
welcome, welcome! i'll be happy to tell you all about it :) i'll try to keep it short:
to recap, the original fairly oddparents show mainly revolved around timmy turner, a 10-year-old boy who was given magical fairy godparents who'll grant his every wish to help him cope with his miserable life. in the show, his found family of fairies consists of cosmo (godfather), wanda (godmother), and poof/peri "purple hair guy" (baby godbrother). the show aired on nickelodeon from 2001 - 2017, and it was popular enough that even people who didn't actively watch it might recognize it
the new series, fairly oddparents: a new wish, takes place decades after the original show's events. it follows a similar premise with a (mostly) new main cast of characters: hazel (protagonist), dev (deuteroganist), and their fairies. cosmo and wanda came out of their 10,000 year retirement to godparent hazel, and dev later on acquired a now-adult peri as his godparent
peri (originally named poof), for the entirety of the original airing, was only shown as a perfectly marketable sphere baby. so when he showed up as an actual adult with design elements taken from both his parents blended in a unique, balanced way, with a personality reminiscent of pilot cosmo (suave gentleman)... something changed inside me
and now here i am
as for the ship, i think you've mistaken dale with timmy
it's the brown hair and blue eyes. don't worry, if i didn't know the lore prior, i could believe this was the same character too!
timmy is peri's brother, and they've been raised as such since peri was born. they were separated after timmy lost his godfamily (and his memories) sometime after growing up and becoming independent. godparents are only ever temporary, afterall. these siblings are made especially tragic by the fact that timmy is the reason peri was born— fairies were banned to have children, until timmy wished for cosmo and wanda to have one because he wanted to see them happy
meanwhile, dale is dev's father, completely unrelated to timmy. He's an antagonist, a terrible father, and the reason for dev's misery. he first appeared as a one-off character in the original show as a poor child laborer who got trafficked into a sweatshop working for a lemonade factory (i cannot make this up). in the current show, he's an irredeemable rich jerk for who i hold absolutely zero respect for. but, from a character perspective, he's fun to watch, and i love it when he shows up to ruin my mood
the shipping comes from the fact that peri and dev gets separated by the end of the first season, so lots of people headcanon that peri came back for dev by disguising himself as his human babysitter, which he'd of course have to be hired for...
those circumstances make for very interesting potential conflicts and dynamics, so it's not hard to see why some might take to it
(lots of people have shouted at me and made it abundantly clear that i may have accidentally fanned the flames for that one, whoops
it's hilarious, because i don't actually care much for the peridale ship at all. i might draw more, but it's far from what i like about the franchise)
a new wish was well received because it took many issues people had with the original and improved upon it. they gave cosmo and wanda a healthier dynamic, for one (it essentially used to be full of "i hate my wife" and "my husband is a moron" jokes, which didn't work well in the long run). the people working on it has also shown clear passion for the project, which i don't see much with show revivals these days. the jokes land and the emotional moments have their weight, and above all, it does it's job at being entertaining
for a show i didn't think much about as a child, a new wish has done well to revive my passion for absolutely overanalyzing and reading up upon every little thing within a franchise. it's kind of rare that i rant and rave about a show this often. the only other contender that reaches this level of insanity being... well, niche enough that i dont get the chance to talk about it online, unfortunately
but yeah, that's the gist of it! i hope i was able to satiate your curiosity

Vinnie is *such* a complex character i feel. And he makes me feel very conflicted, but here are some (personal) opinions about him: (kinda an analysis? idk i'm just rambling)
-Firstly, he's the voyeur, although unknowingly. The word “voyeur” has two meanings, the first one is.. we won't talk about it, but the *second* one is: a person who enjoys seeing the pain or distress of others. Now, i don't really think he actually likes seeing people in pain. Of course, he shows remorse and guilt over the deaths of his close ones, and even people he didn't know that where victims, so why voyeur? Why would HABIT describe him as a “voyeuristic fuck”?
So, i may be getting some lore wrong, and i apologize in advance, but it's revealed that he has led everyone to their deaths, due to his insistence to keep filming and find answers. Also, if i remember right, he had intentionally left out footage that caused him to be seen in a bad light, and it showed that he had led Jeff and Alex to their doom.
-Now, of course for any sane person, why would someone do that? The answer is… well, for answers. That's the word he seems to be infatuated with, ’answers’. And it's made pretty clear. He saw what HABIT was doing, he saw the state Evan was in, and he knew. He was fully aware, he's not stupid, and he knew what he was doing. If Evan wasn't going to do what Vinnie was telling him to, then… he was going to summon HABIT. He was also aware of HABIT's intelligence/experience with the human race, which was good for him, since he was going to get his questions answered.
-Now’s the trick question (for me at least), is Vinnie a horrible person? Well… yes, and no? I mean, he did do horrible things, that much can be said. He led everyone to doom, he purposefully ignored people's wishes (Evan's request for Vinnie not to upload the video about Jesse's grandmother dying), and of course, continuing to record after all of these things happened, despite Jeff's and Evan's wishes. But he feels incredibly guilty. “Sometimes you gotta do stuff that you don't agree with, but that's the price you pay. But you gotta remember, sometimes the price is too steep, and you just can't live with yourself... I'm sorry... I'm so sorry to everyone that I've hurt, to everyone that has died, around me or because of me.” (these are his own words).
I honestly believe he's a very, very flawed character. His goal is answers, and he will do anything to get them. He has the drive to get what he desperately wants, even after being tortured by HABIT. And i feel that HABIT has some respect for him because of that. And of course, his role was set from the start. Everything was calculated, and he was fulfilling his role, “the voyeur”, “the guardian”, whatever it may be. Everything happened for a reason, the God Killer was created, Vinnie's “purpose” was completed. I guess he could be described as a pawn, a follower that was blinded by his desperation for knowledge and control, but fell into the traps of the bigger entities at play.
thank you for reading! i apologize if i got any characteristics wrong, i just wanted to get my thoughts out. and this is very yap-y, so here's a TL;DR:
Vinnie is a complex ass character, who's blinded by his search for control and answers. He's guilty and self loathing, but avoids responsibility. Basically… opinions vary about him, you either love him or hate him.

Hi idk if I sent this request your way,if so feel feee to ignore it.
But could you write a death x reader but the reader is an oldest sibling too? Maybe their (3) younger siblings are in Haven with the makers while their big sibling travels with death for supplies.
I was thinking that the reader could be a foil to death, they have an excelent relationshipp with their siblings, their younger siblings always try to act all tough when Deaths around to "make sure he doesnt hurt their big sibling"(its harmless though).
And ive always hc Strife being the second oldest, and its clear him and death "hate" eachother(or at least dont get along). So maybe the reader has more affinity with the sibling that follows them in the birth order.
Maybe during their travels the reader swaps "sibling advice" with Death(more Like they talk and he listens. I dont think he'd Open up much about his relationship with his siblings). I think the reader would be like "talk to them like adults, dont underestimate them, sometimes you gotta accept they need to get hurt to learn a lesson" that kind of stuff.
And I think the reader would also share how it kind of felt like their childhood was taken away from them and replaced with the duty to take care of their siblings (and that they would still accept taking care of them, they just wished they had more time to experience their childhood). just sharing those kinds of stories to Bond with Death.
Maybe after the supply run they return and Death watches from afar as the reader and their siblings are just chaotic forces of nature and play around and give the makers a stress ulcer lmao. Maybe he gets a little sentimental and hey maybe he puts the reader's advice to the test (with strife or with any of his siblings really)
Also, one more bit of info: Death has confirmed hes the eldest but thats about it, And the reader's siblings are all close in age to the reader, just a 4-5 year gap. (I imagine the reader being in their 20s)
(Pd: I wanted to request this since its heavily based some Real life experiences of mine as an older sibling! And the idea has been going around in my head like a DVD screensaver.)
As always take your time! Your writing's amazing!!!! Have a nice day!!!

◤✘DARKSIDERS REQUESTS | CATALOGUE Death x GN Reader
NOTES ↳ Firstly, HAPPY BIRTHDAY JER!! Wishing you the best day and I hope this makes for a well waited gift! 🎉 I agree so much with the hc that Strife is the second oldest (or that he and Fury have this sort of opposite twin energy?) Writing this was actually a unique go because *LORE DROP! Demeter here, I am the youngest of my siblings. WARNINGS❕ ↳ a mixed concoction of fluff and angst — some profanity — Death is a bit grumpy at the start — we got a wholesome ending! — I think that’s it?
✎ 4.9k ────────────────────────
Everything moves together in sync with each other. Hammers and mallets pound posts and pieces into place, platforms rise and lower at the controlled helm of a steady rope. Crafts are honed and day by day a further stretch of home is made. Humans engage and tidy and work, doing what they must and can for each other; for survival. And that’s what you must do with the pale rider.
He stands idle by Haven’s entrance like an outcast, back set against the old and creaking oak that overlooks a jungle of branching pathways. To those around Haven, he is walking trouble; he is Death after all. So when nobody goes out of their way to greet him or offer him a piece of hospitality, he returns the favour by not batting an eye their way. Most of them keep away. Most of them shrink away in fear of him.
Most…
The flicker of burning amber slims finely into a narrowed glare as he watches you from that darkened corner of Haven. His hands tense against the cold skin of his arms that are squarely crossed over his chest, huffing and tsking his tongue to himself as he waits for you.
Things haven’t been the same for any of you since the apocalypse, so you do what you must for what remains of your family, keeping them safe and well supplied. You can’t bear to see them go hungry or cold, you can never settle with the heartbreaking thought of them going without a place to lay down their heads out of risk of being compromised. You never could, now that you think of it.
They understand why you must go, you’re one of the stronger and healthier humans who can hold themselves well enough in a fight or two. It still didn’t make the going away part any easier. Not since your parents died.
“Alright, I’m off.” Your announcement only bears furrowed brows and sunken frowns. They fear that this time you won’t come back.
“Do you really have to go?” Your youngest sibling cannot hide the slight tremble in their voice. Despite their old enough age to know how this new world works around them, therein lies the terrible and voided feeling of abandonment.
“I’ll be back before you know it. I promise.”
You know Death has this habit of watching you, you feel it even now, the way his piercing eyes bear a weight that almost forces your body to be pushed forward. You notice it too whenever you’re with your siblings, silent and watchful of how you play and mess around, how you coddle them like newborns whenever they’re in fear and how attentive you are to their wounds, troubles and failings. Not so much like him. With his siblings, he is coarse and ruthless, very rarely shedding that toughened exterior to be kinder. It’s how he was raised to be. And so, it’s only natural for him to continue to be that way.
In comparison, you hold your ground when scolding your siblings when they do something wrong or dangerous, but nevertheless you temper your strict lectures with a level of care and love. You tell them to not go outside after dark because it’s dangerous and you don’t want them getting hurt. You correct them if their sense of play converts into discord. You don’t spit venomous judgment and tell them how it must be done, you guide and show them how it can be done. You’re a mender of broken things, a leader to lost and hopelessly wandering ones.
You keep balance within the confines of your family, and Death keeps balance on the outskirts. Out of reach from you. Sometimes he feels like he envies the way you and your siblings get along. But that’s not right, it’s not envy. He can’t explain it, not even to himself. It’s just this insecure feeling that he’s done everything wrong by his brothers, that their so-called brotherhood is naught by an empty shell of petty lies, spite and disagreeable alliance.
And Strife… he scoffs to himself at the mere thought and pictured recollection of that sibling. He thought Fury’s relationship with him and their brothers was a demon stirred nest. His estranged kinship with Strife was an entire beast all its own. The two of them always butt heads, caught in a state of arguing with no hope of a middle ground, even when there are options. The two can never seem to be on the same page.
It’s one of the many sad reasons he admits is why he seeks solitude rather than the companionship of his kin; the very and actual last of his kind.
Sighing, he pushes himself off the tree’s wall and stares sharply in your direction. There you are, still attending your younger ones with gracious and overbearing care. You spoil them with lavish affection, grabbing each one and embracing them tightly and peppering them with a treasure trove of kisses that they can miss you by.
The youngest is given a tad more than the others. The baby of your little clan, much like War is of his own.
Death stalks over with a harrowing crunch under each step, it’s noticeable like a literal announcement that the reaper has come for your soul. An ice cold chill runs down your spine and pricks along your skin with goosebumps.
Each of your siblings are torn from that tight and warm embrace you supply them with, a halo that hovers over them all protectively, and they each visibly tense up. If he didn’t find your stern eyes in that moment, he would have questioned why they all puffed up like a murder of fat crows. But he bites his tongue, he bites down the passionate stir of sarcastic aggression.
“Are you finished?” he questions instead. His tone has a harsher bite to it then he cared to let on.
“Yeah, just… give me a second.” It’s a second more you ask for. Surely the reaper can spare you that. He rolls his eyes, a fiery haze lacking direct and knowing pupils that flow about in the carved out sockets of his mask like wild fireflies.
Knowingly, you direct your gaze to your siblings. You see through their toughened charade easily because you know them — each of them an open chapter within a book. They mean to hide their worries and carry on as if your going away doesn’t leave them haunting around Haven as ghosts that float anxiously until you inevitably return. As if something to prove to Death, they hold their heads a little higher and furrow their brows a bit harder with determination.
“We’ll get to work on those tasks for you,” says your middle sibling, the youngest nodding in agreement. You huff quietly to yourself. “Alright. Take care of them now. Stay out of trouble and be sure to help out the Makers when they need it. I mean it.”
The rise of your brows makes it fundamentally clear that you will not hear another tale of your siblings running amuck rather than helping the Makers.
“I’ll keep them in check for you,” assures your second oldest sibling.
Your nearance in age makes it easy for you both to converse often and come together for the better. That’s what Death has come to understand. You pat their shoulder with a smile, proudly fond of their commitment to ensure things run smoothly in your absence.
You turn to Death, daring to meet the soul-shuddering cold of his gaze and gruffly, he saunters off with you not far behind. A chorus of voices familiar call after you in bidding you goodbyes and reminders to stay safe.
Out of all the survivors in your little enclave, you’re really the only one that embraces Death’s skulking presence, his quiet and brooding nature that leaves him on the looming outskirts as he remains watchful and vigilant. His trips are usually short and few in between his other priorities, to what accomplishments you have little idea, but your company is at least familiar to him. Still, you can be subjected to the brutality of his cold shoulder.
“So what has your scythes in a twist this time?” you ask, your eyes highly observant of your surroundings. He only grumbles in response. The voided silence is only occasionally disturbed by a drawled caw that circles from above, Dust languidly surfing through the air.
“I’d wage a penny for your thoughts, but you don’t strike me as the gambling type.” He’s scouring some corner of the area, sifting through a bundle of half splintered and damaged crates in search of supplies.
Years ago, this exact spot was a graveyard of a small and docile park, smothered ankle-deep in ash and decay. Now, the trickling resurgence of growth sprouts freshly, the sunlight dances in soft haloing rays through the crackling rubble. Flowers are beginning to bloom. Much like Humanity in a way, the world itself is slowly finding its footing again in this changed world.
You wander over to him after dragging a sorted amount of supplies that you already found. The sun would be setting soon and it was best to remain close in numbers.
“C’mon,” you chide with a wistful breath of air and you join him at his side. “I know that burdened look when I see it. Out with it, Horseman.”
“It’s nothing that concerns you.” Your lips purse sharply, brow slightly raised higher than the other, a pure visage of ‘Oh really’ on your face.
He continues to ignore the idea of looking at you and instead focuses his search on the crates before him. A Horseman reduced to a lower task, he’s almost brought into the far past of his youthful days, a time where he saw worlds conquered and thousands slaughtered.
However, he only had himself to blame for offering to go with you, noting how despite your skills, you wouldn’t last out here by yourself. Not without him.
Shaking his head with a short tut jabbing in his throat that pulls tight on his vocal cords, he catches movement out of the corner of his eyes. You walk forward until you situate yourself against a fallen structure, half sitting on it and cross your arms. It’s not too long after that Death’s feathery companion lands beside you with a throaty warble, bristling his feathers into a puff.
He cranes his neck and the flaming core of his stare meets yours, intentionally ignoring the lazy bird that chirps a velvety purr while you absently pet a finger along his back. He sees that same look you give your siblings when you’ve caught them in a lie.
The amount of times he’s given Strife that same pressing look and still, he never yields any similar results that you do.
Death sighs to the wind that carries it up in the air to be discarded and forgotten much like his many attempts to reconcile and temper his brothers. Every turn had been for nothing in the end.
“Your siblings giving you trouble, Death?”
You sound sincere and it almost visibly shakes him. So genuine in your knowing, in your concerned question. His chin falls with a steep incline that you read as an affirmative nod. Yes, you know just which brother in particular that Death’s mind is tormented by, leaving him bitter and lonesome.
“My younger siblings do things that drive me crazy at times. There’s times where we fight, there are days where it’s hard to juggle the roles. I want to give them a promising world yet I have to also be realistic. I always let them know that my intentions for them are sincere. That I want what is best and most safe for them.”
Death is silent. He can hear the inaudible but…
“But… there are times where I have to stand on the sidelines and let them do their thing. I have to watch them fall so I know they can get back up on their own feet. Because when I’m not around, I want to know they’re going to be okay without me.”
“And yet you coddle them to no end,” he remarks. You hear the rasped judgment in his tone and you chuckle to suppress the thin layer of tears coating your eyes.
“I do,” you admit with a nod, “I do, yes. What I’m trying to say is that it’s not easy being the oldest, okay? I know what it’s like. All the responsibility shoved on the shoulders, made to be the lookout, the judge, jury and executioner. To be gentle yet stern and understand when and what was necessary.”
Death stands to his full height after he moves a few crates aside, possibly littered with some supplies you can take back to Haven.
“I have noticed… you treat them more like soldiers than anything. Especially Strife.”
“I do not—”
Your lashes beat fast at the sudden defense he fronts and he catches himself, eyes thinning into a glare. Either way, you know you have him there. And he knows it too. He joins you, leaning against the structure while crossing his arms and undoubtedly scowling under his mask.
“You try to hold them back from their capabilities and mold them into compliance. More than anything after everything that’s happened, they need a brother. I think you’ll find that if you talk to them, really talk to them, that you can find common ground. A stable union.”
He turns his head in your direction but doesn’t exactly meet you. His raven locks fall over the white contrast of a bone and placid visage, the dimming orange of sun emits a glowing aura around him and the wind gently breathes through his hair.
He almost looks thoughtful, heavily seated in an internal channel that studies your words like ancient scriptures.
Perhaps humans did have a shred of intellect. His shoulders jump as a low and gravelly note comes from his throat, it sounds almost like a dry chuckle. It still brings a hopeful smile to your face that he’s found something useful in your advice.
“How exactly did it all fall on you to look after them?”
It’s a loaded gun more than a question, so heavy with a leaded tale of many days that seemed uncertain and scary. Your body slumps forward a little, lips pulled in to sink your teeth into them. “My parents weren’t around a whole lot, they were kept busy working longer hours each week to bring in enough money. My dad’s job had him travelling a lot anyway and…” You pause, rolling your tongue over your teeth.
“Meanwhile, I was left to look after my siblings. I was the one who made them dinner, got them washed and ready for bed and checked if they brushed their teeth. Some nights the power went out and I’d have the flashlight pointed at the ceiling to make shadow puppets. Kept them from getting scared of the dark.”
You swallow thickly. “I did… everything I could for my little bear cubs. I’d get into the shittiest of scraps with kids who shoved them around. I’d sneak out of school during lunch period to make sure they were doing alright in their yard.”
It’s a flurry of memories that come back to you. A series of events cataloged into your mind, to remember the good and the bad, how much worse things could have been, but also something else.
“Do you blame your parents for it?”
Immediately you shake your head. Out of necessity or because you truly don’t blame them. “No. I love those kids with everything I have. However… I paid the price by giving up my own childhood for it. Instead of typical teenage sneak outs or going out on dates, I stayed home on the couch helping the kids with their homework or heating up enough popcorn so we could all huddle up together and watch a movie. I taught myself how to ride a bike so then I could teach them how. I was never really taught by my parents when they were around. They would just vaguely explain it to me, then go about their own thing.”
Instead of a soul shredded and marred into something heinously bitter, you stiffened your upper lip and rolled with the punches. In the forced haste of time that hurried you to grow up, you saddled up with the responsibilities that were your parents, not yours.
The bottom lids of his eyes flinch, a minute action but heavily betraying his thoughts as you both stare at one another.
He’s almost… bothered by your story. As though he finds it unfair.
You shrug with your brows rolling with a lax coil as you shove off that small grief. “But it is what it is. I didn’t get the chance to experience what my childhood could have been. It would have been nice, I would have liked to enjoy it while I had it, but I’d trade it all a hundred times over if it meant they grew up knowing they were loved and appreciated, that everything they did was acknowledged.”
You have to take a break before the bubbling writhe of tears come undone. Clearing your throat, your fingers pluck the frayed rips in your pants, annoyed at the little imperfections that those rips represent. But then you smile. You remember those fights started on the sidewalk as a bully gave your youngest the roughest shoulder they could muster. You’d knock noses, bust lips and pack bruises if it all meant that your siblings knew you always had their backs.
Sighing shakily, calmed, you continue, “That’s what being human — and older sibling — is about. You’d give anything for them, to see them safe, see them smile and to see the world at their fingertips.”
“You’ve raised them well. I cannot see any other doing the task better than you have.” Your brows bevel in the center, a smile tugged at the corner of your lips. “Thanks, Death.”
He can take your response any way he likes, but you’re glad that you had someone to unload the burden to. Someone who can in some way relate. You and Death have much in difference but you see many other alignments that match up. Almost two sides of the same coin that flips round and round in constant motion. A never ending cycle, a duty never entirely complete.
With a glance towards the setting sun, you push yourself up on your two feet, disturbing Dust’s placement that sends him flying to the winds, and you begin to sift through Death’s collected supplies. “Just talk to him like a brother, Death. Because in the end all you have is each other. And when shit hits the fan, you need them on the sidelines of the ring.”
Death hums, a steep sound that reverberates in his chest and rumbles in his throat. He straightens his posture and his eyes follow you closely, watching you with the keen intent of a hawk. And he nods. Not the sort of evasive or dismissive bob of his head, but an actual bow of his chin that then rose up. Your lips grow wide into a grin.
“Now, shall we get this stuff back to Haven?”
Your name is shouted in burstful happiness, relief trailed in whimpers as your youngest sibling runs to you. The other two keep their pace cool as they approach, aware of the pale rider’s presence next to you while you both unload the cargo of supplies.
Placing down a crate, you replace its company with that of your eager little bear that engulfs you boldly that it knocks the wind from you a little. You huff out a short laugh. “Hey, I wasn’t that long. I promised I’d be back.”
“I’m just glad you’re okay.”
“See that you’re both in one piece,” remarks your middle sibling, earning a soft jabbing elbow to their rib by the other.
“Yes, we’re both alright.” You glance to Death then. “Thanks for helping me out with the supply run. Should do it again sometime.”
Death had found the actual events of going through supplies mundane, funnily enough he thought he would die from how boring it was. No, it was the nature of your little talk that kept his mind occupied.
“Try not to run out of supplies so soon,” he retorts dryly and you chuckle. “We’ll try but more humans are being found by the day. Maybe we’ll need some extra hands onboard soon enough?”
Death’s lips curl into a slight sneer to what you allude to behind the mere suggestion. His eyes roll far around in his skull and he shoves his shoulders down, releasing the tension from them as he moves swiftly to spin on his heel.
“Be seeing you around, Horseman,” you coo over your shoulder, your attention becoming a stolen relic by your thieving siblings.
He stands at Haven’s inviting gateway and stops in his retreating advance. Something compels him to linger in the shadows of the tree’s abode, a place he finds so hostile and uninviting to his very existence, but among it all there’s you. You always offer a greeting nod of your head, a direct line of contact with his eyes as you acknowledge him. Your eyes don’t shakily follow him like he’s a phantom to be watched and feared, you embrace the gloom and grim of his company.
You won’t admit it anytime soon, but you always have this sense of anticipation. And when he’s not around, you find yourself missing him.
Death hides in the now blackened corner where he stood earlier that day, his eyes flaring and dimming depending on his concentrated intrigue as he watches you. You and your siblings organise your collected haul into piles.
“What’s this? What’s this thing do?”
“You know what that is, you cheeky little thing,” you chuckle as your little siblings begin their cycle of mischief.
“Huh, look at this. It looks just like you.” You gasp at the second oldest, mouth agape that cannot portray anything but that insulted fun. “Oh really?” You quip before you both engage in a small scuffle.
You become entangled in playful headlocks and knocking the other back with reserved and non-lethal blows.
Before Death’s eyes, all four of you are causing the type of trouble you had warned them about before you left. Between the mockery of fights, you hold them tight to you and ruffle their hair affectionately. When Ulthane marches over, his eyes bearing the fearsome darkness of a scolding glare, he begins to bark and roar with fuming irate. Your siblings had gotten up to no good, and what you once warned them about, you now indulged in their mischievous plots.
A small stone Ulthane kept in the back and higher stacked crates to indeed keep mischievous and curious humans out of reach from, was now the prized toy of a game of Maker-in-the-middle. Instead of throwing high given his advantage there, you duck low and keep your throws to the sides.
Laughter fills the air around you as you play around, getting a little too rambunctious but otherwise it's all an exchange of kinship, a bond strengthened over the years. Death wonders if you allow yourself these luxuries now to make up for your lost childhood, and maybe you did, but it lights a feeling in his chest that it almost swells with an unknown fire.
By the time he finally moves to take his leave, he lets out a slip of a chuckle, gentle and tenderly adoring. Out of all the humans, Death holds a more softer regard for you.
Strife doesn’t bother in entertaining his older brother’s arrival, his gaze set on the distant view of Haven from this afar camp that he refers to as The Exiled Point. A fitting title he named in spite of Death and their recent confrontation with each other.
He doesn’t pay any mind to the thunderous fall of steady footfall moving towards him. Strife is far too engrossed at his post, keeping watch here, no longer hindered by the need to wear the robes of his disguise in order to fit in around the humans. The closest he ever felt to belonging somewhere.
“Strife.” The gunslinging Nephilim only scoffs with a venomous whistle flowing against his masked tongue.
“You gonna tell me to pack up and leave again?”
The kinship is strained between them. Ever since that distasteful argument, the two have grown further apart, barely sparing the other so much as a shouldering glance. No hint of remorse, no intent to mend their breaking brotherhood.
“That’s not why I came up here.”
“Then what is your business here, Brother?”
Death’s head falls slowly forward and his shoulders sag down. He tries to think about how you’d react, what you would do in this situation. What would you do?
“I… wanted to see you.”
Strife cocks his head to the side, body jostling with a sharp and jagged laugh that hints at his still writhing anger. “Well, you’ve seen me! So you should be on your way. I dunno, go and see the humans, go out and protect the balance. After all, what help could I be? I’ll just be a danger to everything.”
Death raises his foot to rest it atop the cut down stump beside Strife, the moonlit winds bellowing the flowing scarves and waisted tabards of the brothers’ armour. Both set their sights to the faint glow of Haven’s lights. A soft beacon in the foggy distance.
“What I said to you was unfair.”
Strife clicks his tongue that runs over the sharpened tips of his fangs. “Still doesn’t change what you said. You don’t get it, man. When I was down there with the humans, I felt—”
Strife feels his heart rap hard against his chest. Within the blaring glow of flittering gold, tears shimmer. He wanted to yell, he wanted to cuss and roar at Death to mount up and ride away, to never come near him again. He wanted what he had seen the humans have with his own brothers; but he couldn’t.
Death shakes his head, voice sullen. “At the time, I thought I was doing what was necessary. What was safe for the humans. But I see now that I didn’t make the right choice. I treat you like a soldier, I talk to you with scorn and hatred because it’s all I’ve known. But first and foremost, you are my brother, Strife.”
With a loud, bellowing sigh that forcibly drags Strife forward to slump in his posture as he sits on a perched rock, he takes a moment to reflect. It hadn’t been fair at all that day with that fight.
They were both ready to kill each other if the Makers, War and Fury hadn’t intervened. If you hadn’t stepped in to keep the brothers from ripping each other apart. You didn’t agree with Death’s decision then, after all, you had gotten on well with Jones. With Strife.
But Death was the eldest, the leader of the fabled Horsemen. Who was Strife, the second eldest, to fight and argue? Who was he to disobey an order?
“I’m sorry, Strife.”
It sends a volting freeze through Strife’s entire being, his muscles tense and his unresting spirit freezes. It feels like his heart has stopped beating.
Not once has Death ever been sorry. The only time he ever expressed a shred of guilt and remorse was for their fallen brethren, for Absalom…
Strife finally shifts to look to his side, meeting Death’s eyes. A steadfast silence passes between them that slowly begins to mend the wounds of their drifting apart. His golden eyes dart and waver behind the visor, his lips tugged and twisted into confused sneers and parted, forgotten sentences.
“I cannot take back what I’ve said. I cannot promise to coddle you like a newborn, but I wish for our brotherhood to become stronger. I want the bond between us to become so powerful that it will take more than a mere disagreement to tear us apart. You — and War and Fury — are my kin. Because in the end you three are all I have.”
Both are settled into silence again, listening to the low howl of the wind’s carrying gusto. Their sights retrain their focus on Haven, as if the kindle in which they both knew that was you, brought them together. A far off thank you that you won’t know of until you see them again.
A small, genuine and high-spirited laughter burns in Strife’s chest, soon joined by Death.
“So am I still in exile?”
Death curls his fingers into a tight fist and much like he’d seen between you and your siblings, he punches into Strife’s shoulder. “You never were. You always had a place to belong with us.”
As time goes by in a passing of shaded midnight, moon gliding slowly through the sky, two brothers that watch over Haven become three and then four with Dust finally perching himself comfortably on Death’s shoulder. Each of them embrace the cool winds at their backs, basking in the quiet contentment of their renewed bonds. And all because one human had the answer all along that finally united the four Horsemen not as soldiers, but as a true brotherhood.

One thing I felt like HoO really dropped on is the characterisation of the Argo II itself.
Where a lot of shows like Star Wars, Firefly, Doctor Who, and Star Trek really shine is where the ship itself becomes it’s own character.
I’m gonna use firefly as an example here, because I started re-watching it today, and this is something that’s a VERY key theme.
I think Joss Wheadon (the creator of the show) talked a lot about Serenity (the ship) actually being the “ninth cast member”. “Serenity” is the name of both the pilot episode and the follow-up movie, it’s name-dropped in the theme song, and the show is called firefly because it is a “Class-3 Firefly Spaceship”. And we as an audience really connect with the ship- despite the show being only fourteen episodes long (If I was only able to throttle 20th Century Fox… I answer to no god)- and I think the reason we do so is because every single character has their own personal connection with the vessel. Wash being the pilot (Also, if I remember it correctly, it being the place he met Zoë), Kaylee being the engineer, for Simon, it being a safe space to hide his sister from the totalitarian government trying to do experiments on her brain, and Mal and Zoë starting the ship together- Mal naming it “Serenity” after the battle of Serenity Valley which he fought in with Zoë (I could lore-dump about this show ‘til the gorram cows come home). And the whole premise of the show being about surviving with your rag-tag crew on this piece of shit that you love dearly, and just… keeping flying. Ugh, there’s something so magical in the writing that makes you adore the ship itself.
Other examples, like the Millennium Falcon, the TARDIS, and the USS Enterprise, are also good for this.
Now, onto how the Argo II itself:
The only person who really has a personal connection with the Argo II is Leo. The rest of the Seven just feel like they’re… on Leo’s boat. All the food is provided by the magic plates from Camp Half-Blood. Most of the piloting/engineering is done by Leo, and a little bit by Annabeth and sometimes Percy when they’re on the water. You never get the sense that any of the others really love the boat, or have any connection with it at all.
I think that’s the reason why the Seven never felt that close in my opinion. There was never a sense of community. Of people united by a common location.
I think, just love for a place in fiction is something really powerful to me. That’s where Harry Potter most thrived, not necessarily the plot, but wanting to be in the world, go to Hogwarts.
Camp Half-Blood had that charm and homeliness. So did the Waystation in TOA. Camp Jupiter didn’t for me, but I think that was kinda the point. But I never really got that from the Argo II, because of the way it was set up so that Leo was the only one who could really bond with it. And this is what makes Leo so compelling to me, is that he actually connects with his flying ship. I just feel like the Argo as its own character, similar to Serenity from firefly, could’ve been so good if it had been written right and was such wasted potential. It would’ve strengthened that bond between the Seven, and made that “familial” dynamic feel a lot more natural.
In conclusion? Everyone should go watch Firefly on Disney plus. It’s just fourteen, forty-five minute episodes, plus the movie. But man, is it worth it. You will cry at the deaths (why do all the good ones get impaled?). You will laugh at the jokes. You will probably say, “Wait- is that a young Zac Effron?” When a young Zac Effron has a cameo. You will wish you were as badass as River.
Idk, it’s 3:03am and this is basically a good idea of what the inside of my brain looks like most of the time. I’ve mentioned at least six obsessions of mine in this post.

hi hi hello could you please expand on aether's complicated feelings about dew's elemental transition? (im so hooked on your lore hdv3bdkcg)
Hi omg I’ve been meaning to write a longer official piece about this, so thank you for the excuse for something like that! I’m so happy you’re enjoying my lore side of stuff omg it makes me so giddy???
Basically going through aethers internal monologue of what he feels following the events. Reminder he is going through very heavy guilt and his feelings are a lot more dramatized than what actually happened
No one blames him, only he blames himself
Warnings for angst, guilt, mild self destructive behaviors
For the lore I’m talking about or more context please see #wraths ghost lore (not super necessary, just know aether did dews transition)
He remembers how the magic burned through his fingers.
The way he could see it creep through dews veins as he bled it in through his arms. He remembers the panicked look he gave omega who kept dewdrop subdued on the table as he screamed.
The thoughts don’t go away, haven’t left him in months. The sight of dews face twisted in pain stains the back of his eyes when he sleeps and he can’t look at him without seeing the wounds that have long since healed. It’s his handiwork at the end of the day. The scars over dew's gills are his doing, the burning flare ups dew gets in his joints are his fault. The breakdowns dew has over his new element can only be blamed on aether and he doesn’t think he will ever feel right with himself again over it.
Dews told him it’s not his fault more times than he can count. The now fire ghoul can feel the shame and pity that aether stares at him with.
“I wanted this aeth” dew rubs his hand over aethers shoulder “it had to be done”
“I know” aether leans into the touch.
But he doesn’t
The blood on his hands doesn’t seem to dry. No amount of reassurance that he had to do it takes the guilt away.
There are people out there that have to put down sick dogs, and aether wonders if the blood on their hands disappears when they clock out. Aether wonders if maybe that’s his fate too. If his job was something akin to putting down a sick dog. If he’s intervened in a divine destiny and he’s only created some half put together Frankenstein of his own friend.
He wonders if he’s only simply prolonged the inevitable.
And even if he did save dew he wonders if it was fair to have the responsibility put on himself. A god of force and not of willingness.
The sight of dew sometimes is too much to handle. Not because of any physical shock, he still looks like his dew, but the knowledge of the pain makes aethers stomach crawl up his throat. Dew would’ve been better off without him, he’s sure of it considering how he only seems to hurt him. The thought reassures itself more and more as the time passes. Dews' desperate attempts to wrangle his friend from the depths of guilt only make him feel worse. This shouldn’t be his job. Not after what he’s been through.
Aether retreats. Closes himself off more and more from those who wish to support him most. The genuine belief that he’s harmed someone is truly more than he can bear to handle, let alone to constantly see the fruits of his labor tell him how much he loves him.
His door stays locked most days. His relationships slip from his fingers in his own self wallowing. A recluse of his own fault but
Is there a more fitting fate for him?

A random ask if you're up for it: what's a terrible take about the Buffyverse you've seen on tumblr but have not yet publicly kvetched about?
I'll be honest: this question prompted a moment of minor panic on my part because my very first instinct was to say something like "hmm, no, I don't think I've ever seen a bad take about Buffy on here I've not immediately complained about". Which is an admission that, were it accurate, should probably prompt rather more introspection on my part than I'd enjoy.
Thinking about it though, I don't think that is really true. In fact, I probably don't say anything negative about most of the bad Buffy takes I see, either because they're not particularly widespread (I try not to publicly disagree with other people's headcanons or even argue against popular posts if it would be obvious who I was responding to) or because they're about characters who I just don't talk about on here at all (either because I don't find them interesting or because my understanding of them is so at odds with the wider fandom's we'd be talking at cross-purposes).
(Or, sometimes, I don't say anything negative because I'm too busy enthusiastically reblogging the post in question, if we're being brutally honest about what counts as a "bad take".)
One concrete example I don't think falls under those headings and which I don't remember complaining about before is the way people talk about Buffy's speech in Selfless. Now, I'll be honest: I don't really like Selfless that much. It's in the top half of Season 7 episodes for me, possibly even the top third, but that's a pretty low bar. But what I do like a lot are Buffy/Faith parallels, and this episode has a big one in Buffy's speech towards the end of the episode:
At some point someone has to draw the line and that is always going to be me. You get down at me for cutting myself off, but in the end the Slayer is always cut off. There's no mystical guidebook; no all-knowing council. Human rules don't apply. There's only me. I am the law.
Obviously this reminds the audience of Faith's similar speeches in Season 3's Consequences, when she tells Buffy that the two of them are "better" than ordinary humans and then later that "you know I'm right. You know in your gut we don't need the law. We are the law."
We obviously aren't meant to agree with Faith in Consequences. (The fact that she follows this speech up by almost immediately defecting to work for the Mayor, commiting at least one cold-blooded murder, having a sobbing emotional breakdown where she begs somebody to kill her and then turning herself in to be judged and punished by the very human laws she sneered at earlier is something of a clue.)
A lot of people point out the parallel but then try to explain that what Buffy is saying is actually substantially different from Faith, and that Buffy is right while Faith was wrong. in Myth, Metaphor and Morality Mark Field (who I don't think is actually on Tumblr, technically, but who I'm referencing to avoid talking directly about the many people on Tumblr who agree with him) ties this in to the wider themes of Season 7, and describes the difference between Buffy and Faith as being that Faith is trying to avoid responsibility (for accidentally killing Allan Finch) while Buffy is taking responsibility (for doing what has to be done and killing Anyanka).
And yes, Buffy is doing something different to Faith here. She is not trying to say that she doesn't have to be accountable. She is not making excuses for her own mistakes or bad behaviour. She is trying to do (what she perceives as being) the right thing.
But Buffy is wrong as well. She is proved wrong within this episode. She doesn't have to kill Anya: in fact, she fails to kill Anya (indeed, given what we see of vengeance demons in The WIsh and in Older and Far Away I don't believe Buffy could possibly have killed Anya, but I know that vengeance demon lore is even less rigorous than vampire soul lore). The problem of Anya being a vengeance demon is resolved, not by Buffy, but by the people she was giving her speech to. The people who she was arguing didn't have a say.
Buffy is wrong, too, within the show's established lore. There is a mystical guidebook (even if her Watcher didn't have her read it), and there is a Council (even if they're far from all-knowing, Buffy could have been making use of their resources ever since she asserted her importance to them in Checkpoint, but she chose not to do this). And Buffy isn't alone. (At least Faith got the number of Slayers right in her speech!)
And Buffy is also wrong in terms of the wider season arc. Season 7 is not about Buffy saving the day by heroically taking all the world's burdens on to herself and making all the decisions. Her attempts to beat the First this way end disastrously; cutting herself off from her friends and her family and the very the Potentials she's trying to protect.
(Yes, the climatic scene in Empty Places is poorly written, but the season does very deliberately have Buffy fail to establish any sort of rapport or connection with the Potentials and spend less and less time with her friends. Buffy isn't blameless for those relationships falling apart, even if having her friends and sister kick her out of her own house is absurd.)
Instead of being the lone voice of judgment, Buffy beats the First and saves the world by not isolating herself. By working with her friends; by realizing they can do things she can't; by sharing her power with the Potentials (because "my power should be our power"); by reconnecting with Faith; by accepting help from Angel and from Spike; and by realizing that the people who "made up the rules" for Slaying thousands of years ago made a mistake.
The whole point of Chosen is that it is a refutation of the vision of being a Slayer that Buffy outlines in this episode.
Quoting it uncritically as if it sums up who Buffy is as a person is like, well, using Andrew's speech about "the Dark Slayer" to describe Faith. (Which ... oh, yeah, people also do.)

Time for another fun daydream Ive had
Degrees of Lewdity this time because my mind is going crazy:
(May mess up genders a little bit, I play randomized with them)
So starts out the usual. MC has to start paying Baily and shit and the world sucks and all that. MC starts throwing themselves into a new job all the while trying to avoid the hell that is the town (Also im not too deep into the lore but I have a HC that all the fucked up townspeople wait until the orphans are 18 and stuff which is somehow both better and even more fucked up because imagine knowing some kids birthday just so you can fuck them (didnt people use to do that with kid celebrities too))
Overarching plot is:
MC works their ass off to make the orphanage better for all the orphans. Where MC cannot pay off all their debts as much as they wish they could, instead MC starts to teach the orphans about finances and how to make and keep money. MC eventually becomes a sort of 'bookie' for the orphans in the sense they're the only one that the others trust to handle money, and MC works their ass off to keep everything stable. MC encourages skulduggary and sort of sets up a ''honor among thieves' with the orphans where they watch each other to make sure they're not stealing from other orphans because they’re all trying to survive. Towns people are free to steal from tho.
During this time MC catches Baileys attention even more and (After the Avery gambling incident) Bailey starts having MC work for them keeping records of the actual orphanage’s money. Coincidentally this also leads to MC learning about some of the less than legal dealings Bailey has been doing with the orphanage’s money (and sometimes it seems like Bailey wants them to know more, almost like they’re preparing MC for something)
As MC delves deeper into the corrupt work, they start to take a more active part in dismantling it. When the big climax hits MC is at their lowest- broken to a point they feel unable to fix- and go for a full kamikaze move.
So here's the thing, there's like one part of the dialogue from the cafe about two out of towners coming because there's a rumor about how they can SA anyone they want to and not get in trouble there. I took that as a "so there’s something wrong with JUST this town" and ran with it. MC, with this knowledge, get’s themselves SA’ed by the most prominent figures in town, Leighton, the mayor and shit like that, and then hitchhikes themselves out of town to another one where they get a r*pe kit tested. When it comes back there’s a full-on investigation of the entire town with MC as a sort of Mole with a microphone attached.
This leads to another gambling event- this time MC coming with Bailey instead of Avery- with MC bugged. All the prominent people are there and MC- since most of them assume MC is broken now- pretty much prepares to get SAed again. There’s a moment where MC and Baily are alone in a room, and Bailey finds the bug on MC--
--MC thinks they’re done for and that all their suffering was for nothing, but instead Bailey very calmly places the bug under Their (Baileys) shirt (which seems weird but it’s a better option, if MC were to get SAed again then the bug would be discovered, and Bailey is more likely to get better evidence as they are more trusted then MC) and heads back inside. MC follows and they collect the final- damning- evidence.
Other significant events I have are:
MC gets kidnapped by Kylar. It's awful at first and Kylar is desperate. MC eventually gets free from their bindings and tries to escape the house but is chased back by Kylar's parents. Here is where they learn about whatever the hell is wrong with them and starts to feel kind of bad. Eventually PC is released (prolly with a little bit of Stockholm syndrome) but is now concerned about Kylar and whatever the hell is happening to his family (And also with a better understanding of why he's so fucked up)
Which leads to MC making a deal with Ivory Wrath (Which they still don’t know anything about, just riding on hope at this point) to save his parents. Somehow, it works. A few days later MC runs into Kylar panicked and cared begging MC for help because something happened to his parents. MC rushes with him home to find his parents unconscious but looking better. Almost normal. MC starts to work on getting them into bed and helping them get better. Kylar is useless so MC takes charge and orders him to do stuff as they care for his parents.
As time goes on the parents finally wake up. And they’re back to themselves- shaken but normal- and MC talks calmly to them and explains how they’re Kylars friend. It’s implied that the parents vaguely know what happened but also like its all muddled. Kylar comes in at some point—
And his parents have no idea who he is.
So the idea is that kylar is FTM trans. Playing into the whole idea of him already feeling isolated and alone in this hellhole. Anxiety made it that he never thought he could transition with his parents, so when they started to change he choose to finally transition because, eventho he wanted to act like everything was fine, Kylar knew they weren’t all there and couldn’t protest.
Shit eventually get’s resolved but it takes time. MC checks up on them often.
Robin
MC gets caught up in shit. First with Robin and seeing them struggling with making money and tries to gently nudge them to get a better job at first, but when that doesn’t work (And probably after running into Whitney a few times which sparks this idea) they start to 'tough love' them and demand Robin gets a better job. Practically throwing him into the cafes doors to get him to work there.
That works well, until robin gets fired for refusing to be abused or something (the usual) but by this time MC has enough supplies to set up a booth to see their wares. MC hires robin to work there so they can work else where telling robin they will pay them per hr (Which isn’t fully true, they give Robin commission based on what Robin sells- taking a good chunk out of MCs savings but they want Robin to be ok and this is the only way they know how)
MC and robins’ relationship would mirror Baileys and the entire orphanages. An implication that MC could become what bailey is if they choose to do so.
Eden:
Playing around with some more ideas. Eden was originally an orphan too, which to me makes sense seeing as theyre distrustful of everyone and live off the grid. I also HC Eden and Bailey were probably orphans together (Bailey perpetuating the cycle of abuse and Eden choose to run from it) which is why Bailey knows Eden.
MC and Eden bond over the orphan thing. And MC makes a point to visit Eden as often as possible. This will probably be useful story wise if I can ever flesh it out enough where MC goes missing for a long time and Eden has to go to Bailey to find me- this would lead to rekindling Baileys and Eden old relationship/friendship/whatever the fuck it was they had when they were both orphans and leads to a better understanding of Baileys character.
General idea: where eden chose physical isolation after what they went through, bailey choose emotional isolation. Maybe they were in love? Fuck if I know.
Sydney:
Honestly in my mind I focus more on their parent- Sirris.
And I wanted to focus on a parent that is aware of the shit happening in the town but is also willing to let it happen as long as its not their kid. It’s a sort of situation where Sirris has a vague idea of how bad shit is but doesn’t make the full connection of how BAD it is unless they’re forced to face it head on. Living in denial thing.
As MC gets closer with Sydney Sirris is forced to see what kind of hell scape this is for the orphans first hand, and now that they personally know a child suffering from it, it becomes harder to ignore. There’s also grappling with the option to keep Sydney blind to the awful things happening to everyone in the town or to let Sydney understand whats going on- this also leads to a whole “I don’t want my kid to grow up and go where I can’t protect them, but I also want my child to become a good person/adult which means they may have to face hardships that I’m not ready for them to face”
And then there begs the question of how long a good person can turn a blind eye to others sufferings until they stop being a good person? It seems like a fun thing to explore.
Ivory Wraith:
(Forgive me, havent gotten deep into their lore yet)
MC is pretty scared of IW throughout the story. IW is an imposing figure that seems like the supposed ‘God’ in this town that has their eyes set on MC. Shockingly, MC dose not steal the neck-less like they do in game, instead it’s just there one day after another bad encounter with IW. MC cannot remove the neck-less and IW still comes to them every night on the red moon. No harm is done, but all they do is watch.
MC eventually gets it into their delusional head that IW takes a liking to them for their purity and intends to keep it that way- fearing what may happen if they upset IW. Once the final overarching plot is done MC makes their way back to the lake and begs for IWs forgiveness for not being able to stay pure.
But IW does not come, instead a person appears from the water. Similar in appearance but no longer carrying the same ethereal feel that IW did. MC asks who they are, but they don’t remember. Both sit in silence for a long time after, unsure of what to do.
The idea is that MC had this huge image of IW in their mind as a god- similar to the townspeople had of whatever god they believed in (Which may be IW?) – and in the end IW just turns out to be another human fallen victim, now with nothing to their name just like how MC started out.
And… that’s all I got for now, seems like a fun story line to come up with.

14 for O14 please!! I wanna see what reason you could come up with for them running out of an alley at breakneck speed XD
I kept giggling at all the possibilities but finally settled on one more serious based off the recent lore tabs. There's still a missing moment for when they actually start the relationship.
14. Running breakneck speed from an alley
From ask game here, feel free to send in more requests!
Saint's footfalls thundered against the brick and asphalt as he and Osiris tore their way through the back alleyways in the city.
Shouting followed after their fleeing forms and Osiris let out an adrenaline filled laugh he would deny forever when Saint decided the warlock wasn't running fast enough and scooped him into his arms. The titan let a touch of arc energy spark through his legs so they covered even more ground faster soon losing their pursuers.
Once he was certain it was safe, Saint set him back on his feet and stepped back to lean against a wall breathing heavily despite his body not actually requiring the air.
"That was- You- I can't believe-" Osiris started to pace the space in the alley they had ended up in. Saint removed his helmet and slid to sit on the ground with it beside him.
"Did I render the great Osiris speechless? If I had known all it would take was yelling at a group of punks I would have done so sooner," He mocked lightly enjoying the way the comments would always leave Osiris puffing up like a threatened bird. It was cute.
Surprisingly Osiris didn't get defensive this time. "No one has ever stood up for me like that before. Felwinter supported me but expected me to fight my own battles- which I can do- but... It was kind of you to say those things Saint. I know we don't typically get along," He muttered pausing his own pacing in the process.
"I said them because they are true. You are a very talented warlock and you care deeply for others even if you do not like it being pointed out. You are passionate about what you believe and it is admirable." Saint said simply.
"Yes but... You've never said such things before. Most of the time you're yelling at me for disagreeing with your father." Osiris pointed out folding his legs to sit beside Saint.
"We do not meet often outside of the Consensus. You should come on patrol with me sometime, we can feed the birds together." Saint offered and watched as Osiris' face twisted.
"Is my company really so distasteful to you?" He asked and the look immediately faded.
"It's not that. I think I owe Tallulah glimmer or a drink or something now. Are you asking me on a date? Or is this a friendly work patrol to feed birds together? Just to clarify," Osiris asked and Saint blinked at him.
"I did not think you would wish to go on a date with me. If you are willing then I can do better than just birds! Plus, you are like bird already, the way you puff your feathers when you are upset is cute." He said delighting in the blush he could just pick up coating Osiris' cheeks in the dim light.
"Is that why you challenge everything I say? Because you think I'm cute when I'm frustrated? You've been... You've been pulling my pigtails?" He huffed and Saint ducked his head a bit embarrassed.
"You did not show interest when I was giving you gifts but I could not help myself. You are so... Passionate and devoted. It is stunning to see. But I do not lie. I meant the points I argued." He admitted surprised when Osiris was suddenly straddling his lap.
"You are infuriating! How can you be so- you?! I want to- Can I-" he growled lowly clearly struggling as he cupped Saint's face in both hands.
Saint gave the slightest nod as his body tensed with hope, the purple of his eyes brightening as Osiris leaned in to kiss him and the sensation of butterflies filled his stomach while his hands settled on Osiris' hips.
Osiris didn't pull away after the kiss though, letting his forehead rest against Saint's. "I definitely owe Tallulah glimmer. But yes, I will go on a date with you. To feed the birds or whatever other chivalric thing you do in your free time." He huffed making Saint laugh.
"I promise I will not disappoint you in that like I do in the Consensus. I owe Tallulah glimmer too. She told me I was being ridiculous in not just asking you out and that you were more interested than I thought." He admitted and Osiris rolled his eyes.
"Leave it to the hunter to play both sides. We should get out of this filthy alley... Would you like a cup of tea?" He offered reluctantly pulling himself off Saint's lap so they could go.
Saint stood and picked up his helmet, tucking it under an arm while offering Osiris his hand to hold while they walked together hopefully. "I would like that."
Osiris met his gaze and took the hand offered shyly and they stepped out of the shadows of the alley into the setting sunlight together.

ok lore dump time for Valerie now :3c
Real name Valerie Hart, mutant code-name name "Mercy".
My saddest and my most OP character... Originally I made her to be super powerful cuz I just wanted to have fun exploring what it'd be like to have basically a god-on-earth kind of character running around doing whatever she pleased, but then I decided I wanted to explore how her powers could actually damage her in the long run, and how tragic it could be.
So, my idea is that her mutant ability was basically to "wish something into reality" aka to believe something into existence. Do you know how hypnotism works? It's both real and not real - a hypnotist simply makes a "suggestion" for your brain to follow, and if you genuinely believe it's real, then it works! Sort of similar to the placebo affect. This is basically what I wanted her powers to be like - if she genuinely believed something to be true, then it would become reality. Crazy OP, right?
But then I thought, well, everyone goes through periods of self doubt and losing confidence, you know? Teenagers who are unsure about themselves, adults who lost at something and begin doubting their abilities, etc.
When Valerie's powers first manifested at around 10 years old, her father, a scientist, became afraid of his own daughter. He loved her dearly, but thought that no human being should ever wield a power like hers. There, he first planted the seeds of self-doubt in her mind... the idea that there was something wrong with her. Her father was the one who made the call to Xavier's to come collect his daughter, where she was tearfully taken away to her new home.
Though she became an X-Man member at around 20 years old, an unfortunate string of mistakes led to her losing more and more confidence in herself. Eventually, all of it piled up onto her beginning to believe what her own father had told her all those years ago: there is something wrong with her. And as her power works, if she believes it to be true, then... it becomes reality.
Valerie's mental health began rapidly deteriorating afterwards. At around 26 years old, the other X-Men showed concern for her health and wellbeing, citing that she was losing control over herself and her powers. She lashed out in fear and anger, and was forcefully put on an indefinite medical leave.
"Just until you get better," they'd say with a sad smile. She knows she won't.
Though they made this decision trying to help her, it only added fuel to the fire burning inside her. If everyone else believed she was losing herself, then she would believe it too. She believes she's getting worse, her powers manifest so she really does get worse, she sees that she's getting worse, and she continues to believe it. An unfortunate downward spiral that she can't see an end to. She was bitter about it in the beginning, but eventually just accepted it.
Every day, she's worse than before. Sometimes the days bleed together and she confuses her memories for current conversations, and seems unable to tell the difference between dream and reality. Now she's afraid to use her powers for fear of doing something she hadn't meant to do, or of hurting people she doesn't want to hurt.
The others, her old team members and new students alike, try their best to cheer her up with companionship, hoping that making new, happy memories will help her get out of this spiral. It doesn't seem to be working, but she appreciates it all the same. She hangs around Xavier's school, sad and afraid, slowly slipping away out of reality altogether.
Her personality is very mellow, largely keeping to herself. She works as a healer now in Xavier's school, still wanting to help people however she can. She doesn't talk much, but she doesn't like being alone either, so she always seeks out someone's company at all times. She spends a lot of time around Hank McCoy - in the beginning, it was because he was trying to cure her 'affliction', but these days it's largely just because she enjoys his company (neither of them will mention that he seems to have stopped trying to fix her - they both know how this will end). When the X-Club is formed after M-Day, I like to imagine she spends most of her time in the lab with the scientists. She's not a genius like them, but sometimes she can still use her powers to help in small ways. She's one of the few people with the patience to deal with Dr. Nemesis's arrogant personality, so they grew close. He won't say it aloud because he's too prideful to admit he cares about anyone, but he's desperate to find a way to fix her as well.
