Gilan says that even though he and Halt will always be close, Halt and Will’s relationship is much closer and is father & son like. Pauline treats Will as her son. Horace sees Will as his brother and Halt as his uncle. Everyone sees Will and Halt and are like “this man. This man has adopted a child” which is so funny to me because imagine you’re in araluen and you see Greybeard halt who never smiles with his happy son who doesn’t shut up (AND they’re the same height). Flanagan does a lot wrong in the series but making Halt see Will as his son and the found family aspects are NOT one

Yesterday was Apollo’s monthly day!! And bc I’ve never done a celebration before, I wanted to go ALL IN!

And I truly did.

I baked a cake, did a wine offering (my fav, well saved bottle from a vineyard), bought him a pretty orange and also a new libation cup!

Anyhow, even thought it wasn’t officially his birthday (that’s on may), I was so excited! So I still sang him birthday songs, got a birthday candle and simply relaxed and vibe with the music (I also took a wine cup for me and baked my own cake to accompany him so it felt like an actual mortal?? birthday)

I usually reach out to his reason / logic / truth and knowledge aspects so Apollo can be quite strict with me when it comes to- school and research . So it was really nice to simply celebrate and enjoy the music (didn’t last long tho, at some point he told me to go to study😭)
