If I think about the tarnished legacy Jayce and Viktor left behind for too long I’ll break out in hives. Few will really understand what the two meant to eachother and even fewer will know what happened in the end, why they did what they did, Jayce will likely be memorialized as a hero and a martyr (not a person, mind you) but Viktor? Even in life he was cast aside, his contributions to the city diminished and his love for his people twisted. His kindness will not be remembered. nonetheless i think its sweet how the qsmp members want the inactive players to come back to the point to go out of their way to plan lore guides/museum so the ones interested in joining are able to catch up

also hoping to remind the ones that arent as interested in lore that you dont have to participate or have a big role if you dont want to like i think antoine, etoiles, philza, vegetta and tazecraft at some point (and i think felps too? i dont watch his pov as much sorry :( ) are one of the best examples of this. they are the ones that i've seen that participate the least in lore and there's nothing wrong with that, everyone should be allowed to play the server as they want

the real way to antagonise alastor would be to point out that he and vox actually have quite a few commonalities -- both like being the centre of attention, both up-and-comers of their respective days who got a Lot of power very quickly through similar mediums, both do news broadcasts as ways of gaining/keeping power, both use smiles to cover up insecurities and control the room (although vox is an amateur at this compared to can't-stop-smiling-even-whilst-having-a-breakdown-alastor, not that that's... a great thing on alastor's side), fundamentally entertainers/presenters at heart who need to be the most impressive presence in any space they're in or they'll die (uh... double-die). thinking about vox trying to prove they're not so different, and alastor's eye twitching type duet

honestly though alastor could just easily bite back by saying he's just a cheap copy of him ALSFMLGLSK and he does have the excuse of having come first too. i have no patience for voices for supposed peace or “middle ground” when they STILL can’t bother to condemn terrorism or the celebration of terrorists nor when they conflate the assassination of terrorists with needless bloodshed.

the world will never ever let israel be something remotely close to the “good guy.” the world will never ever acknowledge that it doesn’t know what it’s like to be the target of multiple terrorist groups surrounding it and attacking it at the same time.

but israel needs to find a diplomatic solution; israel is the bad guy for killing terrorist leaders; israel is the bad guy for trying to rescue its hostages.

i’ll never stop having my own opinions about this war, the israeli government, etc. but i truly think there are fewer and fewer voices that claim to be for peace that we can truly trust.
