Something something pickpocketing is showmanship and slight of hand coming from a place of selfishness and callousness something something when we first meet Jack surgery is also showmanship and slight of hand, it's about the performance, the speed of the amputation is for prestige but it's coming from a place of genuine compassion - the faster the amputation the less pain it causes. Ok but, brainstorming here, danny as an avatar of the end but also the spiral and/or the extinction ? Like the end yeah sure obviously, but the spiral in that he looks vaguely wrong in BOTH forms. He looks like walking corpse as a human, pale and cold and somewhat decaying. As a ghost he's got too much blush to his cheeks, you can feel his bones and see him bleed and he doesn't look quite as transparent/translucent as the others do, he's too human. The extinction idk if I'd include or not but idk something about being one of the only of your specific species kinda hits in that area I think.

The only other characters I have a clear fear tie to would be his parents, while yes you could argue their also the end I think they fit so much better with primarily the hunt, for again probably obvious reasons. The end could tie into that, IF they have to come to the realization that they are tied in with what they've seen as their prey all along, which could be fun to handle. Oh, like parent like child as well, you could say their extinction purely bc they gave the ghosts access to the living and created danny which creates dan who kinda ends humanity 😁 just brainstorming don't mind me.

it's not because jack cares about family less. it's because jack never had to worry about that, or even consider it in his priorities. jack never had to prioritize essentials first and luxuries later. he's not a big spender, but that's a personality trait, not a conscious thought.

jack and bitty won't be arguing about income because they're both going to contribute equally at different points of their marriage, but they probably are going to argue about how to spend that money, and the fine balance between being too mindless and being too careful.

I also have aluminum foil this time around to help sculpt the bases of pieces so the pieces stay lightweight and avoid it being solid clay. Yaaaay.
