#one of my favorite things about ffvii's story is that every tiny event comes with a million new What Ifs.#what if tifa didn't recognize cloud at the train station? what if she chose not to help him and instead just minded her own business?#what if cloud didn't have that sword? would tifa have even noticed him? or would she have assumed that he was just another mako junkie?#what if someone else had found him first? what if someone called public security and shinra came to 'investigate?'#why was cloud in sector 7 anyway? what if he'd been in sector 5 instead? would aerith have discovered him?#was he trying to catch a train up to the shinra building in order to follow the reunion? since jenova's body was up there?#every answer creates a bunch of new questions. the story writes itself in your own head. uuUUAAHHGHH i love this game#ffvii#cloud strife#tifa lockhart#my art <3#.............what if cloud had stumbled onto the tracks and gotten run over

He does! He brags about Timmy's success to every person within the neighborhood's vicinity. Mr. Turner loves how successful his son is! It really secures his reputation at the neighborhood HOA meetings they host at their house.
Timmy's worked very hard to gain more successes than failures. The more successful he is, the greater his family's social standing!! And the less he gets to overhear his dad ranting to the neighborhood about his failures.

reading about dick grayson in fics is like i love giving him crashouts and existential crises like it it's just a normal tuesday babe, but its easy to forget his innate sense of justice and his intrinsic capacity for optimism!! when he had no light he became the light. despite all his performer's tendencies he is naturally witty and charming and he has a thrill for everything to do with life and love!! thats what magnetizes SO MANY people towards him! like devin grayson said he is a person of many contradictions and she was sooo RIGHT. and i feel that even through his debilitating guilt and contritive tendencies he is so full of HOPE and WILL for the better good.

I think any fix-it mouthwashing au has to have the mandatory scenes of Curly either being able to blink again or speaking for the first time.

I love how over time kid xelqua has become less just baby grian and more grian's kid who he found in the woods/somehow created and now the kid represents all of grian's childhood trauma and Catholic guilt and grian is just trying to break the cycle bc there's this magic fucking baby who is the best thing in the world
JKAGJKD yes Exactly, see evo Grian has a lot of family issues, from being an orphan, to the Watchers, he has ISSUES, so raising a version of himself is..... definitely odd, but weirdly healing.. He sees how he was as a kid, he wasn't that bad, he was just a kid ! He didn't deserve to be abandoned or anything. He sees all of his ache in Xelqua, he's very much breaking the cycle.
