to anyone who has just learned about what happened with ironmouse and vshojo, but you're out of the loop on everything besides her video (watch her video!!):

ironmouse still owns her character and channel. you may have seen previous vtubing agency fallouts where this is not the case. vshojo IS an agency that manages vtubers, however, they do NOT own the IP of the vtubers in their agency. ironmouse probably has to deal with many branding and merchandising headaches right now (because vshojo generally manages brand deals, merchandise, and funds) but i wouldn't worry or spread fear about her status as the owner of her channel.

leading up to this announcement, some big vtubers left vshojo. there is a lot of speculation over that. as of now, none of those vtubers have talked about this current situation. honestly, this will likely change. still, if you can't find an actual clip or video of the vtuber talking about it, ignore speculation. vtuber drama channels, specifically, are a scourge.

final point, and this one is just to be clear, ironmouse really is the main face of vshojo. she alluded to this in her own video, but it really is that serious. she is the #1 vtuber on twitch. she has been the #1 most watched female streamer on twitch. she has broken twitch subscriber count records. she is an extremely influential streamer. this isn't just online fans exaggerating. this is a big deal.
