What if yuu has a family curse similar to the aishi family in yandere simulator? (It's been years since I touched the game so if the lore changed I'm basing it off of 2018 ish lore, just with my own twist) basically yes, yuu CAN feel emotions, they're just muted and barely there. Given the right conditions (like falling in love or spending time with friends) and/or antidepressants they'll basically be like any other person, without them it's like a less severe version of the aishi women pre-falling in love

So, afab ppl born in yuus family, once falling in love, start losing their sanities and adopt yandere like behavior (stalking, increasing rage and jealousy, willingness to murder, etc) unfortunately this means they usually die young (20s or 30s) how quickly/young they die is based on their willpower (resisting the urges) and when/if they fall in love (so someone falling in love for the first time in their 40s and having insane willpower, caving in 20 years later in their 60s has more luck than a 16 year old falling in love and caving in almost immediately). so. uh. I got this ask when I first woke up and 1) very happy to hear from you Rose, always lovely to get a new ask and 2) yandere? sim? has lore? I am currently beating away the desire to info dump on you about the myth of Sigurd and Brunhilde (i could scream about that for hours oh god oh please i have written an actual au for that but efkjbekjrgbjrthnytrh) So here is the basic idea:

Yuu ran afoul of a witch in their world and was appropriately cursed. Given the myth I was inspired by I don't think Yuu did anything bad, but they still made the witch mad so they got cursed to lose all reason should they ever fall in love.

"You will be thine own destruction!" Cackles the witch and Yuu, who is actually normal unlike trey this person takes a deep breath and resigns themselves to researching a way to minimize the effects and maybe break it? They don't know they thought magic was fake until they thought they were just doing a favor for someone but turns out they pissed off Baba fucking Yaga.

They start to isolate themselves since they notice the curse starting to eat at them when they are around anyone the love; they consider going back to the witch and asking for further clarification but they can't seem to find them anywhere so they take some deep breaths and do their best to just be normal.

When they end up in Twisted Wonderland, and start feeling... weird. And it only gets worse when Crowley speculates that they might have been brought to Twisted Wonderland because they posses a soulbond.

And Yuu immediately freaks out because they don't want to kill anyone.

Now as for your question for who would try to pursue Yuu vs just leave them... well I don't really like writing un reciprocated feelings so I hesitate to say any of the cast would drop Yuu. In my au it isn't possible for soulbonds to not be reciprocated, and they are already sort of seen as a curse by mages so this... complication might not be normal but it isn't unexpected if that makes sense. Which would probably make Yuu swearing off love hurt even worse.

Kalim wouldn't want to abandon Yuu. Not ever, no matter how much of a danger they could be to him. Hell, he's willing to forgive people who are trying to poison him on the off chance they might regret it. But he is the heir of House Al-Asim, and I could see his dad paying someone to take Yuu out to keep his son safe. Something Jamil sees coming from a mile away and has to just keep quiet about. Something I can see Jamil feeling bad about, he might not like Kalim but you didn't ask for anything that happened to you. And yet the Asim's took your life from you anyway.

Have to disagree about the octatrio just a bit. Floyd would be into this. And so would Jade. But especially Floyd, oh hee hee ha ha his soul mate wants to kill him? Say less he is on his way to get his ass eat beat with an engagement ring in hand. Both he and Jade would be a little disappointed when the curse is broken and you aren't actively trying to kill him anymore... maybe you could try and poison him huh? Like old times?

I wrote 20 paper pages of soulbond au stuff for Azul so I will try to be brief here but... I don't think this situation would be one that made him try to break the bond. He has... complicated feelings about soulbonds already. If anything I could see him thinking he deserves this.

Now Idia. He's complicated. Pre-overblot he has given up on the concept of breaking his own curse, and I could see him feeling the same way about yours. Ortho on the other hand... even before he gets his soul he wants to help. After the overblot I can see Idia pursuing Yuu determined to find the truth and save them. Not that he wouldn't interact with them before that, he's a bit nihilistic so I can see him just making a bunch of jokes about the situation or promising to let Yuu kill him "after this next round." Or just straight up asking them to when he has to hit pity in one of his gachas. It's just cringe enough that it snaps Yuu out of the curse fog for long enough for the two of them to be normal around each other. And by normal I mean incredibly awkward

genuine question bc I haven’t read the books since. Idk a long time, why do ppl hate nightcloud so much?? I have literally only ever heard of her as an afterthought. Like she’s the third choice for crow feather bc he needed to take a mate to not be seen suspicious and just picked her, there’s no love between them, and afaik he basically forced her to raise her son by herself, not counting the moments of attention he DID give which seemed to be overwhelmingly negative and even abusive. Isn’t she allowed to be bitter and that when he’s very clear abt his apathy and even resentment toward her and her son?? Or am I missing some context

People took Crowfeather passing the blame onto Nightcloud for Breezepelt's behavior at face value, despite two arcs worth of books proving that wasn't true at all. I'd argue the writing team ALSO believed this, as with how they characterized her in the subsequent Field Guides. Immediately, Nightcloud's past actions were re-contextualized to be negative, to further push this idea that she was this old coddling bitch mom who didn't let poor Crowfeather be involved with his son (look at the language of the field guides, they genuinely wrote "she should be glad to be alive").

Crowfeather was (and in some circles still is) a pretty popular character, and a lot of people were quick to latch onto the idea that he was blameless. I can't remember if CrowPool was or wasn't a popular ship, I lean towards yes, so take this line with the knowledge my memory is fuzzy, but I'd also argue that Nightcloud being the "replacement" mate was what made people even more hostile to her.

So, what is Nightcloud actually like? I'm only going to cover scenes where Nightcloud is either mentioned or actually appears, so no Outcast, click the first link for a better look at that. I'll only cover Po3 and OoTS for now.

Nightcloud's Appearances in the Power of Three

Our first meeting with her is in The Sight, where ThunderClan intervenes when they're being chased around by a dog. Her first piece of actual dialogue is her defending Breezepaw from Crowfeather, which is not coddling, especially when given the added context in Outcast that Crowfeather is verbally abusive towards his son. She also proceeds to lecture him about his manners towards a ThunderClan cat, so, she's not the one encouraging his rude streak.

She is then absent for most of the book until the end, when during one of the contests at the Daylight Gathering, Lionpaw and Breezepaw get hurt in a collapsed tunnel incident and she understandably is quite distressed. Then Leafpool drops the "i'd give every drop of my blood for you Crowfeather" line and Nightcloud just tries to divert attention from that, understandably uncomfortable with what's being said.

One of the scenes that's commonly used as "evidence" that Nightcloud stopped Crowfeather from bonding with Breezepelt is this one:

No hissing or swatting. She just doesn't let him help, and considering we now know Crowfeather has been absent from the beginning and isn't above hitting and screaming at his kid, I think it's understandable that she arguably isn't going to stop just so he can help. But that's my interpretation, I think this scene in itself proves nothing of the sort either way and people were reaching when trying to use it as evidence.

Nightcloud's remaining appearances in The Sight is her watching over Breezepaw and Lionpaw as they recover:

That is the entirety of her appearance in The Sight. Onto Dark River! Where her first mention is Leafpool identifying her and Jaypaw sensing some jealousy from Leafpool, as the patrol is going to check in on WindClan and get information because of uh scents. you know usual warriors border bullshit. We then get Jaypaw noticing her breath, and finally him sensing jealousy from Nightcloud (that she does not act on). This is the entirety of her appearance in Dark River:

Cue Leafpool being polite to Crowfeather, and Crowfeather waving as many red flags as he possible can.

And onto the infamous Outcast! Where Nightcloud has *drumroll* one fucking appearance.

She also has one appearance in Eclipse where she's part of the patrol that attacks Lionpaw, but I'm not even going to mention it it's quite literally just him going "Nightcloud!" before the scene shifts to his and Heatherpaw's conflict. She is entirely absent in Long Shadows, there is no appearance of her beyond allegiances.

And finally in Sunrise, she is entirely absent until near the ending. She's first mentioned by Crowfeather when Jayfeather asks him if he knew the truth, then noticed at a gathering by Hollyleaf:

When the secret is revealed, Nightcloud stands with Crowfeather. No hissing or hitting or turning on him, here is the entirery of her appearance when Hollyleaf reveals everything:

This is it. This is the entirety of Nightcloud involvement in the story, she is barely mentioned and she is barely a character. Her appearances are dwarfed by Crowfeather and Breezepelt, and she is literally just a normal mom character throughout.

Nightcloud's Appearances in Omen of the Stars

Nightcloud is absent throughout the entirety of the Fourth Apprentice. She is only mentioned in the allegiances. She has one appearance in Fading Echoes:

Then there's Night Whispers, where her first appearance is her arguing with Crowfeather while Flametail goes "yikes!":

Her other appearance is the infamous grabbing scene that people latched onto as proof that Nightcloud was an abusive monster who was hurting poor Crowfeather and was forcing him to not bond with his son. Breezepelt and Lionblaze get into a border dispute and it escalates into a fight:

Leafpool intervenes and asks Crowfeather why he's not doing shit, he then proceeds to throw up multiple red flags in front of her and does the red flag dance:

We finally get Nightcloud where she comes in and pulls Crowfeather away from Leafpool. Despite using her claws, presumably because she does not have fucking THUMBS to grab onto him, no blood is drawn. She just pulls him away in an already emotionally charged and over dramatic situation. This is not comparable to Crowfeather's abuse of his son and with everything else I've presented, her grabbing him is not indicative of their relationship, ESPECIALLY given the circumstances of the action:

Her last appearance is her talking about shredding RC cats, it's not relevant but uh it's there. That the entirety of her appearances within the book.

She has no appearances in Sign of the Moon. She then has a two appearances in The Forgotten Warrior where she is hostile to Hollyleaf (which feels understandable to me considering what Hollyleaf did):

She has one onscreen appearance in The Last Hope where she defends Jayfeather from the Dark Forest attack with some other WindClan cats:

Her only other mention is Crowfeather blaming her for Breezepelt's behavior:

In canon, this never happens. We never see Nightcloud encourage Breezepelt to hate Crowfeather, but we instead see Crowfeather spending an entire book abusing Breezepaw when Nightcloud is away. This is bullshit, but the fandom took this as truth and immediately turned on Nightcloud despite no actual evidence.

There are three takeaways from this:

Crowfeather blaming Nightcloud is....false. It's false. We see no canon evidence of this, and in fact the books tell us another narrative.

Nightcloud is barely a character. She has so few actual appearances that calling her "complex" is a lie, she is a narrative tool that moreso supports Crowfeather and Breezepelt's conflict than any story of her own.

Even if Nightcloud did do all that offscreen, Crowfeather STILL abused his child and that is directly tied to Breezepelt's motivations within Omen of the Stars. Nightcloud's behavior does NOT negate the harm that Crowfeather did to his own son.

I’ve seen a lot of comments how Luke was wrong and maybe he was but I feel like Aemond isn’t a strong force of information since everything he’s thinking may be the wrong thinking. Lucerys was wrong for hiding Jace- yes. Was Jace wrong for how he treated Aemond when he present as an omega- yes. But I also feel like Lucerys wasn’t being actually cruel but more like naive in a way. Rhaenyra probably didn’t teach them how to face serious issues like what they are dealing at the moment but more like let her sons run free and do what they please.

Not that’s it a problem, but I can understand both sides. Lucerys and Aemond were raise differently, set aside their second genders, Rhaenyra and Alicent are two different type of people who were also raise by different people and both have a different style in raising their children. Rhaenyra is an alpha which makes her be on top of the food chain and having people make excuses for her actions while Alicent is an omega but nonetheless, it’s a tough place for omegas. That much was proven with Aemond and the two people he killed in this new chapter. Alicent is only trying to protect her son in the only way she knows. That way she learn. While Lucerys is a whole different deal. Besides being an alpha, Lucerys isn’t ashamed of some of the things he’s done with partners because he doesn’t SEE THE PROBLEM. As I feel like he doesn’t see the problem when it comes to hiding his brother and him being an omega because for Lucerys family comes first before anyone or what anyone thinks and says. Luke may as well be helping his brother because he knows how it is for omegas and sees Aemond being able to take care of himself since he’s been doing that for years already. ( my opinion) while Jace may go up against harsher treatments🤷🏽‍♀️.

Who knows but I’m really curious to know one piece that has left me wondering and I feel like people have been fighting over this in the comments.

Was Luke actually responding to his brothers heat? Or was it actually because of Aemond?

Is it weird I love how many people hate Aemond now? Chapter 10 commenters were almost unanimously in the “burn Luke at the stake” camp and while I don’t blame anyone for sympathizing with the narrator, Aemond goes UNHINGED in that chapter. I’m pretty demi/aro but I kind of banked that most would want Luke dead based on how many of my irl friends have told me they’d kill over a partner cheating. Frankly flabbergasting to me but apparently that is a universal sentiment. This social experiment confirmed it—and Luke hadn’t even laid a hand on Jace 😂 Now with Aemond thinking more lucidly I guess it’s more obvious his demands and behavior were uncalled for…still somewhat understandable for many though, which is fair.

Luke responded to both—the pheromones Jace was emitting (unofficially the “come fuck me NOW” hormones) definitely had Luke feeling something. But as I’m sure even very hypersexual ppl can confirm, that means absolutely nothing on its own. It doesn’t mean you even think about touching your unable-to-consent bleeding brother, even IF Luke was unmated.

Then Aemond walked into the room (having JUST started to emit pre-heat pheromones)…and it just hits different when it’s someone you love making you horny right?? Even unintentionally? Luke was STILL just fine controlling himself, thank you, right up until Aemond got in his space. Then his body responded to his mate and immediately started going in to rut.

Messy situation, for sure. But cheating? Naw. Not in a/b/o land at the least 😂

But TOTALLY Luke didn’t see the problem until Aemond pointed it out to him (badly, I might add, Aemond didn’t actually just say ‘everyone in the entire castle will treat me different Luke, even worse than they already do—are you okay with that?’ but luckily Luke could read in between the lines), he’s too used to his own privilege. And the person Luke was closest to who is omega has been Jace, also super privileged for an omega. So yeah, didn’t even enter into his mind what the effects would be on Aemond save needing to reassure him further that Luke didn’t cheat (which he had a plan for).

hello! :) the anatomy in atc isn't really a part of the status separation. i made a point not to focus on that. you can have people of any body sort in any of the three statuses, the main "difference" is in the scent (which can actually be inaccurate from birth—see: meng yao) and the fever cycle (which isn't always present either, or not always in the same way—see: wen ning), the perceived general outside traits... but like with gender irl those traits are way overstated (like women being shorter than men—tons of women are taller than the average man, it's not even uncommon). wei wuxian in standards of beauty doesn't conform to a lot of these assumed traits, and some others don't either (wen yueying, wen qing...).

wei wuxian is intersex and able to become pregnant, but i won't be developing overly much on how that presents itself for him appearance-wise because i think it's rather in bad taste to obsess over that. he has a vagina and a womb, if that's what you're desperate to know. his being intersex manifests in other visible and invisible ways in his body and i've decided on all of it, i did so from the beginning, so i know what they are, but i don't think the readers need to know. there are cis kunze (wen ning, xue yang, meng yao, etc) and trans kunze (luo fanghua, wen yiqian) but gender isn't an actual point of discrimination or differentiation in atc. the whole concept of gender has been replaced by the concept of statuses. so gender is kind of like just another physical trait, like hair color or height or just clothing choices i guess. it doesn't mean anything wrt discrimination, and biology doesn't either.

i'm not gonna pretend it's a super well-developed and failsafe AU in that regard because frankly it's impossible to just completely rewrite gender-based discrimination with fantasy gender-based discrimination. but i didn't want to focus on genitalia because 1) genitalia isn't all there is to gender-based discrimination irl, far from it, 2) i find it weird and i don't want to do it. this way i get to allow trans and non-binary(*) characters to exist within any status. win-win.

therefore, kunze aren't all able to become pregnant and their role in society isn't to provide children anyway, since a child born of a kunze will be considered a bastard. they're seen as rare tradable goods. having kunze concubines is like having anything else that is expensive or rare. it's a statement of wealth and prestige as well as a personal pleasure.

as for zhongyong, it's not discrimination per se, but they are exempt from usual positions of power or notoriety. so they usually don't become heirs unless there aren't any qianyuan to pick up the mantle (nie huaisang). well ig it is discrimination when i say it like that. but the real divide of oppression is between kunze and the rest.

if you think all those assigned traits are stupid then you are right, they are, they are completely man-made and easily proven wrong/inaccurate and far from affecting everyone the same. just like gender irl. that's the point.

Honestly, I have it easy compared to some of the other peoples experiences on here so it's not fair for me to complain. And it's on me for engaging with some of the stuff they put up because I am capable of turning my head and leaving it be.

Which I usually do because I don't go searching for their posts. However I do occasionally check my "Your Tags" section and the Elucien / Lucien tags were used in a clearly Anti Elucien post. This isn't the first time this week I've seen it happen across the fandom so the repeated behavior tends to spike my argumentative side and that in of itself is childish to a degree but at times it feels like you want the other side to be heard too, you know? They go around shouting the loudest thinking it means they have something on us, more proof of something, and I guess something about that feels unfair to me.

It's always canon this and canon that for them while ignoring all the other canon that exists. Being selective with canon is going to be the thing to bite them in the ass in the end because these books are not just what happens when Elain and Az are on page together. They definitely don't like "canon" when it tells us Az hasn't thought of a future with Elain. They don't like canon when the thought of Gwyn's happiness sparked something in his chest.

And SJM doesn't talk about all the little hints and crumbs she laid out for Elain's journey only for some in the fandom to think that the things that are wide out in the open (like Az and Elain wanting to kiss) are the full picture. Feyre saying, "why not make them mates?" wouldn't be a crumb or a hint, that would be SJM leaving nothing to the imagination. A crumb is something like "what can I get you Elain?" "Sunshine", then later revealing that her mate is the heir to Day. Or "Spring had been made for someone like her" in reference to Elain and later being told Lucien is permanently being stationed there. Crumbs are SJMs way of laying out the mystery of what's going to happen and she wants the reader to be clever enough to spot them. Thinking Elain has no interest in Lucien and it's clear she wants Az because she was willing to hook up with him and currently ignores Lucien doesn't take any sort of genius to figure out. But a clever reader who look a little deeper to see if maybe the "obvious" isn't really so obvious at all, that there is more going on beyond what we're seeing.

But you're right, there's no point in arguing. It doesn't matter how logical your response is, it doesn't matter how much proof you can provide based on past endgame couples and how that means Elucien (while not a guarantee) is not a lost cause, they don't want to hear it. They want to only fixate on the moments that support E/riel and nothing that possibly throws a wrench in that ship and that's like trying to talk to someone about a movie where they only stepped into the room every 20 - 30 minutes, catching 5 minutes at a time.

I sympathize with you beside I had to switch rooms not even 1 Month into the semester because my roommate and suitemate were terrible. Terrible at respecting my privacy and compromising, as well as talking about me when I’m literally in the room and refusing to apologize or fix any of her behavior while I was the only one who would do that.

So i think a new room will do you good, and just relieve some of that stress. But obviously no room mate is perfect, but little things can be worked out. Also put your clothes away while your unpacking or you’ll be like me and wait several weeks to do so ☠️ Good luck!

oh i love that question.  i love exploring morals.  for the most part, ig struggles to find anyone  irredeemable.  honestly such a belief often backfires at him, but it’s like he never learns and just keep believing in ppl.  he doesn’t hold grudges, and you know what, good for him.  that’s gotta be a very burden-free life in that regard.  there’s certainly things he considers  unforgivable,  though:  careless and mindless murder would be high on the list.  lots of other criminal behavior too, and i don’t say that just because he’s in law enforcement.  i suppose it’s more of an umbrella term for the  ‘bad things’  people might usually do.  although petty crimes and small stuff like that is much easier to omit, but if the person just keeps on with it, it sort of piles up and paints them as a  ‘bad person.’  even then, even if he were put next to a serial murderer, he’d find a way to forgive them.  it’s certainly something he personally finds unforgivable, but even then, he just cannot stay mad at someone, despite thoroughly despising the idea of taking another’s life, especially without a good reason.  sometimes he understands it—  self-defense, usually.  or defending a loved one.  on ocassion he can certainly understand why it would have to happen, as he is no exception.

when he was younger, it wasn’t something he paid much emphasis on, but as he became older he really fell in love with the idea of settling down somewhere—  someplace that is just his, and preferrably shared with a mate.  the idea of a private house makes him feel all intimate, so he couldn’t really live in an apartment complex.  and he tends to look for spatious living conditions, which might stem from the fact that his hellhound form is  massive.  a boy needs a lot of room, although ofc thorough the years he’s lived in a variety of different homes.  i guess it comes from that experience, that he knows what he likes.  besides that, he always makes sure to have some sorts of flowers and plants at his place.  i would probably say that would be his favorite.  he loves growing his own herbs at the very least, and if he has access to a garden, then also various fruits and vegetables, and decorative flowers are always a nice bonus.  he’s not neccessarily insistent on a lot of funishings, but even then he couldn’t just live in something plain and barren.  that simply doesn’t feel very home-like to him.

It was obvious, i even said that if jm was indeed in touch with jk for first half of 2023 as much he would mention jk but he didn't. They don't accept same thing about TK when ITS happened is because don't wanna accept it cause it burst their bubble of "taekook couple". JKK thing was also obvious if you see it from neutral pov but no one was ready to look at that way. although i thought they might have met whenever jm promised jk he would but seems like they didn't....seems like i was wrong about that or maybe they did but it's not enough for them.

I agree that they might not be the ppl who would go outside and do adventure like TK do but i know for fact that they love going to eat outside. I appreciate you returning and standing on what you said, but I must do the same. I still don’t really agree with you, because my opinion is not that they aren’t together. My opinion is that they were not in as of a traditional relationship as I initially assumed. An opinion that changed last year, when the JK stalker video was posted.

I’ve always been open to being wrong, but their behavior remained same enough for me to think they were just being more private than not, but that video made me think perhaps there was much more complexity to their situation than I thought. Now, I feel very confident in that speculation. I think they absolutely were in a relationship that went beyond platonic, and I think 2023 was them realizing that relationships, even if more casual than shippers assume, took effort they never had to exert due to their proximity as band mates. I think AYS is them trying, and not them just being friends who are reconnecting.

So the reason I said I disagreed and still do, is because you seem more along the lines of someone who doesn’t think there’s anything going on between them. Which is fine, you don’t have to, but where you believe they’d have made time if they were actually a thing, I think they failed to realize how much time they needed to make. Which is why they ended up doing the show, and why they ended up enlisting together. Whether or not they are a couple by traditional standards is not for me to state, but I don’t think they’ve ever been platonic. At least not in the sense that they’ve never had feelings for each other.

I also think it was more blame on both sides than it reads like you said, in that you wish JK would have followed through on going to see Jimin. My new interpretation of how things might have went, since I didn’t think this prior to AYS, is that both of them stopped showing up. Which is a sure fire way for a relationship to fade. Platonic and romantic alike.

Other than that, I don’t think you were wrong, because I can’t tell you what’s right. But again, I do think we’re still in a disagreement on what we think their relationship is and was.

I speak for myself and some ppl that we don’t like Layla bc she appears way more than Shanola and Kate’s husband and Jeremy’s ex wife, and her body language with Noel is always different from other spouses of the cast. I know I've said it before on this blog, but if you take the role of Mickey Milkovich out of Noel's career and he just becomes that dude from Twilight, The Riches and whatever else he's been in, would anything about him or his wife matter to anyone? Like you might stumble on his instagram in passing, lay eyes on her, notice that they seem like a visual mismatch, maybe even look her up for two seconds, just to determine her name or something, and probably move on, right? I assume it's how you'd feel about most mid-level actors that you recognize but have no investment in.

It's how I feel about her. She's just this person who exists, but I pay very little mind to her because I see no reason to. I understand from your post that she irks you because her behavior feels comparatively more intrusive than the other cast mates' spouses. For example, in pictures, she's got a leg draped on him, once pre-Shameless and once post-Shameless. She also sometimes inserts herself in group shots that seem reserved for just core cast, but there she is anyway.

So, let's say Cam and Noel were a real-life couple and Cam would reunite occasionally with his buddies from Gotham. In this scenario, Noel, because he really liked the show, befriended certain members of that cast in real life and even got a small part through his connections to Cam. Would it bother you the same way to see Noel intrude on all things Gotham and show possessive behavior in pics with Cam when it was clear that the other Gotham spouses were much more reserved by comparison? 🤔 Maybe you would. Who knows?

At the end of the day, I don't question anyone's dislike of her to the extent that I'm trying to reframe their point of view. I'm just trying to convey my own objectivity when it comes to her because it's easier for me to accept that certain people are who they are, and that's that. It's my choice whether to hyperfixate on them in a way that impacts me negatively or clear them altogether from my purview and stay neutral. So that's the path I choose and that's why I choose it.

General (main cast)

Nora refers to JR/JRO as "the boys" (canon?) but to RWBY as "RWBY" (canon?)

Pyrrha was insecure about her height (6'). The only one who knew was Nora. Nora's not insecure about her height (5'1") she's just mad at it

Weiss is also mad at her height. And Yang used to be insecure about hers in middle school

Everyone has carried Nora at least once. Whether because they wanted to or she forced them or they had to drag her out of something

Salem is colorblind (either by birth or by Grimm Pond dive)

Blake once licked her whole hand and then used that hand to push Ruby's hair back. No one will let her live that down

Sun likes to play with other peoples hair and clothes and gets really happy when they do it back (grooming is a important social aspect for primates). This behavior makes people think he's dating either Blake (who gets it) or Neptune (who's used to it and just lets him do what he wants)

Most faunus' can smell other faunus, down to the species-type (is there a word for that?)

Theres an old wives tale that the more human DNA you have, the weaker the strength of your senses are

Faunus who marry other faunus tend to end up with a spouse of the same or similar species-type. (Theres no socialital push its just statistics. Like how ppl tend to marry other ppl from the same backgrounds or class as them)

Depending on the species-type, some faunus have internal characteristics that allow them to: growl/howl (vocalcords/voicebox), have a higher bite force (jaw muscles), etc

There are stereotypes surrounding species-types. Cat-types like fish, primate-types will go through your stuff, rodent-types are short, that faunus who resemble solitary animals avoid social situations, etc

There are ridiculous rumors that faunus have a mating season/go into heat and that they lay eggs instead of giving birth

Perfumes and other scented things created and used by faunus are made differently, since their sense of smell is so strong. Walking into a human mall can be very disorienting because of the strength of human perfumes/candles

Animals were named after the types of faunus, not the faunus after the animal

THOMAS

A newbie idol with much to prove. Thomas can be rather cheeky, and his tendency to act without thinking often lands him in some sticky situations. Despite his lack of experience, he fancies himself a leader to his fellow idols at Shining Time Productions, even though he's not always taken seriously. He is cheerful and sociable, but has a habit of involving himself in the affairs of others, and sometimes he can be a bit too honest. Thomas' mood and whims are somewhat unpredictable, and he will oftentimes act according to however he feels at the time, even if it might inconvenience those around him. Though he can be impatient and forgetful at times, he rarely strays from his convictions, surmounting strife and stress with his own brand of blinding optimism. He's also a fiercely loyal friend, and is shown to be especially protective of his best mate Percy. His singing voice is playful and authentic, making for performances that are vibrant and brimming with confidence.

PERCY

A rookie idol with an endearing personality. Percy is kindhearted and friendly, albeit somewhat timid and more than a little clumsy. Though he's easily swayed by the words of others, he has an overall chipper outlook on life. He is also shown to be a bit scatterbrained at times, prone to daydreaming and getting caught up his own fantasies. This, combined with his fearfulness and tendency to take things at face value, makes him an easy target for James and Gordon's teasing. Having been an avid idol fanatic from a young age, Percy has always wished to become a popular idol so he can shine on stage just like them. Though Percy has matured quite a bit since he was initially scouted, he still falls victim to occasional bouts of naivety and misunderstandings. With a bright, charming singing voice, he delivers lively and cheerful performances.

JAMES

A pretty boy fashion model, with an attitude to match. He has a sizeable female fanbase, second only to Gordon (a fact which frustrates him to no end). Though he seems superficial, James is shown to take his idol career seriously and is a surprisingly hard worker, even though he still complains when he's forced to take on menial gigs. He relishes in the attention of others and will get increasingly agitated if he's ignored, and he doesn't always enjoy sharing the spotlight. This, along with his flippant and selfish behavior, gives off the impression that he doesn't care much for others. Beneath all his vanity, however, James has a heart of gold. He is quick to lend a helping hand to anyone who needs it, and he will frequently take the rookies under his wing. Though he has a sharp tongue, he's rather submissive underneath it all, and he's often teased by Thomas and the others for it. He considers Gordon to be his main rival, though this sentiment appears to be largely one-sided. On top of his idol work, James engages in various modeling gigs. Accompanied by his sweet and luxurious singing voice, his performances are dramatic and full of flair.

EDWARD

An older idol, though still fairly new to the industry as a whole. Edward is a hard worker, polite to everyone he meets, and always willing to lend a hand to those in need. With a soft and cordial personality, he regularly plays mediator for the often antagonistic James and Gordon. Edward has been described as having a calming presence, and due to his compassionate and non-judgmental nature, others often confide in him. As an idol, Edward ironically tries not to stand out, preferring to let his unitmates have the spotlight. He strongly dislikes conflict and expresses a genuine desire to get along with everyone, something that fortunately comes easily to him due to his friendly and considerate personality. However, his easygoing nature does sometimes put him at odds with his more ambitious unitmates. With a mellow voice that seems to embrace you, his performances are as gentle as they are powerful.

GORDON

A part-time trainer turned full-time idol. Gordon is strict with both himself and others, and is willing to do everything in his power to achieve his goals. Though he prides himself on his refined sensibilities and dignified persona, Gordon is inclined to bragging and can be quite the showoff under the right circumstances. While he may seem overly serious, and perhaps a bit moody, he becomes rather flustered when things don't go according to plan. Despite his boastful tendencies and heightened sense of self-importance, he is ultimately well-meaning, and is happy to help his unitmates reach their full potential. Gordon can often be found staying late in the practice rooms so he can keep up with his idol training despite his tight schedule, showing his commitment to self-improvement. His harshness is often interlaced with an overbearing fussiness and perfectionism that renders him unable to sit back and watch while others fail. He delivers a sharp, alluring voice that carries well, along with sophisticated and precise performances.

HENRY

While Henry is diligent and caring, he is easily swayed by his surroundings and is somewhat high-strung. Despite not having much natural talent, he can be very stubborn once he sets his mind to something, and his resilience and ability to keep trying in the face of any hardship is something many people find admirable about him. Though he is a very hard worker, his frequent bouts of illness often hinder his training. Henry also has something of an inferiority complex, stemming from him seemingly being the only "average" person in an industry full of talented individuals. This, combined with his somewhat pessimistic nature, gives him an altogether negative view of himself as a person, and he often expresses concerns about feeling inadequate compared to his peers. Regardless, Henry never lets his low self-esteem get in the way of working hard and improving himself so that he might one day achieve his goals and become like the people he admires. He greatly looks up to Gordon, attributing much of his own success to the other's influence and trying his best to imitate him in certain respects. a mild voice that wavers deeply as he sings, his performances are soft and lingering.
