AU where Solomon lost his human head instead of his beast one and can't maintain his human form anymore, so now the Punks just have a huge fluffy wolf that can breathe fire. he isn't used to being so big and is like one of those big dogs who thinks it's still a puppy.
he likes to sit in laps but crushes everyone under him except for Benji, who cannot be crushed. Benji brushes his coat every few days to keep him from shedding all over the base. Solomon happily acts as a Ghibli-style bus and flies all the Punks into battle. Ramona turns into other animals and sleeps on his back.
Vika hates him more than ever.

I am a firm supporter of Tommy x Alfie with this exact vibe, but this could also work for them:
Fight me on this I dare you.
my partner doesn’t use pet names nearly as much as i do, which is very funny because i will crack my gay little knuckles and say some shit like “good morning my sun and moon, my loveliest boy, my baby my sweetheart my darling dearest” and he will reply “hello adrian”

The Goetia Council - Hell's Heroes Lore
The Goetia Council is the ruling body of Hell, all matters pertaining to Hell and its territories are overseen by the Goetia Council. In the Chaos that is Hell it is the Law. While rarely all votes are ever utilized the amount of votes given across the council has and always will equal 666, then number of the beast.
The Goetia Council is composed of the following groups:
The Seven Princes of Sin: (10 Votes Per Prince) The seven demons who embody the seven transgressions that are said to separate a soul most from Yahweh. They have always come from the Seven bloodlines of the original seven who led the rebellion against Heaven.
The 72 Demon Lord's: (6 votes Per House) The current heirs to the Angels who fell during the 1st Rebellion, all of whom are recorded to some degree in the Lesser Key of Solomon
The 22 Grigori: (4 Votes Per House) The angels who fell during the time of Enoch before the great flood. It was they who spawned the Nephalem.
The Six Wings of Lucifer: (6 Votes Per House) Six Demon families that are loyal to House of Lucifer above all else, they are the demons who run the day to day affairs of Hell and oversee the unclaimed wastes where lesser demons dwell. These six houses are: Lucifuge, Nebiros, Satanachia, Agaliarept, Sargatanas, Fleurèty,
The Extra Houses: These are Families, Bloodlines, and positions that for some reason or another gained votes in the council despite not being a part of the aforementioned groups.
The Following are the Extra Houses:
The House of Abaddon the Abyss (10 Votes)
The House of Azazel. (6 Votes)
The House of Lilith (6 Votes)
The House of Samael (6 Votes)

Vlad III, Prince of Wallachia (1431–1476/77)
Vlad III, Prince of Wallachia, more commonly known as the Impaler or Dracula, was a three-time voivode of Wallachia, ruling mainly from 1456 to 1462. Historically, Vlad is best known for his resistance against the Ottoman Empire and its expansion and for the cruel punishments (e.g. Impalement) he imposed on his and Europes enemies. In the English-speaking world, Vlad III is most commonly known for inspiring the association of the name of the vampire in Bram Stoker's 1897 novel, "Dracula."
His name had its origin in the sobriquet of his father, Vlad Dracul ("Vlad the Dragon" in medieval Romanian), who received it after he became a member of the Order of the Dragon. Dracula is the Slavonic genitive form of Dracul, meaning "[the son] of Dracul (or the Dragon)". In modern Romanian, dracul means "the devil", which contributed to Vlad's reputation.
Author Mark Pinkham writes, "Vlad III spent his early years studying the Dragon Mysteries. He attended the Scholomance or "School of Solomon" in Austria, which was identified by the local uninitiated natives to be a "devil's school." It was there that young Vlad learned many forms of alchemy, the secrets of nature, and many magical incantations. The Dragon Wisdom he learned at the School of Solomon would become a guiding light for Prince Vlad throughout his life.”

SCHOLOMANCE AND HIS STUDY OF THE ARS GOËTIA
don’t reblog it or i’ll eat ur firstborn.
what is scholomance? scholomance, or șolomanţă, was a school of dark magic said to lay dormant underneath the city of sibiu. originally a place for great scholars to learn the ways and teachings of king solomon, it was later said to have been a place where fallen angels taught the dark goetia to their students, and where the 10th scholar chosen in their lots was doomed to be taken as the devil’s due.
The Drac.ulas were, says Arminius, a great and noble race, though now and again were scions who were held by their coevals to have had dealings with the Evil One. They learned his secrets in the Scholomance, amongst the mountains over Lake Hermanstadt, where the devil claims the tenth scholar as his due. - Bram Stoker, Dracu.la.
We already know from the novel that Vladislav studied in the ancient school, and that it was attributed to him already to have been having dealings with the ‘evil one’ throughout his entire family. This is especially interesting given that the word dracul, while has a dual-meaning to translate to devil, holds also the same meaning as the word ‘dragon’, and that scholomance was said to have been originally named the school of the dragon.
the graduates of this school would learn many fabled dark magicks while enrolled. this included animal speech, magic spells, transfiguration, dragon-riding and the control of storms and weather. for seven years they would remain underground and immerse themselves in this study, learning the language of all living things, enochian, the secrets of nature and how to make it bend to ones will.
so how does the ars goetia tie in? well, the term 'goetia' literally translates to the practice of conjuring evil spirits. it includes dark spells that would include charms, sorcery, wizardry. they learned the ancient ways of the dactyli and all other forms of theurgy to become as powerful rulers of nature. Agrippa wrote in his own research that detailed the books of occult philosophy that ceremonial magic could be illustrated through goetia and theurgia, or magia; otherwise defining a strict line between evil magic and good magic. goetia would be considered the wicked kind of magic that goes against the laws of nature, and is often invoked through a tie to a supernatural entity; thus, making the caster more of a warlock than a scholar or wizard.
the evil spirits, considered 'demons' by modern western standards, are commanded entirely by four kings that correspond to the cardinal directions. These kings are called Amaymon, Corson, Ziminiar and Gaap. Alternatively known in abrahmic religion by the names of Samael, Azazel, Paymon and Maimon.
THE CIRRICULUM
the arys theurgia teaches the students the seals and order of each of the spirits and their sigils, what they lord over in the underworld and their traits and aspirations. they learn the temperament of each creature and their perfered gifts during summoning. They learn the compass point of each demon and the inter-cardinal points and how to draw upon them, as well as the names of each prince, count, duke and queen. This book shows how he bound spirits, and used them to obtain his fame, and to act as protection, and how solomon’s students may do this too.
a few of these are known as bael, agares, vassago, valefore, amon, barbatos, sitri, beleth, eligos, zepar and more. upon graduating, vladislav succeeded in summoning the goodly knight known as eligos, who is later mentioned as one of his guardians in the castleva.nia series. however, in-line with this series, other demons that have been seduced and/or summoned by the count are as follows: malphas, balor, zephyr, saint legion, beelzebub, leviathan, & abbadon.
the ars paulina is the third book, and it teaches the apostles the magical calendar, the astrological seals and the meaning of the stars and planets on an astronomical scale and the archidoxes of magic. the ability to communicate with divine or heavenly powers is often described in this book as being delivered to the solomonar by the apostle, paul, further cementing it as a teaching of solomon himself rather than the devil. i think this is especially important to point out that here, the goetia includes the invocation of angels too.
they spent another year and a half on this subject alone, and begin to memorize the angels and 360 spirits in the zodiac.this is called the monomoiria, which correspond with hellenistic astrology.
in order to summon these creatures, one would need to learn to create a wax tablet and memorize the designs of each sigil that corresponded to the 72 spirits, which would be taught in a book known as the Ars Almadel. Two full years was spent on this subject alone, before moving on to the Ars Notoria, which would teach the series of prayers that would grant the magician the powers of a polymath and polyglot, as well as an eidetic memory so that one could learn and memorize every spell taught in the Ars Paulina.
Courses on the lesser key would include classes and necessary research on The Sight; or the ability to see supernatural phenomena; this is also referenced in the Novel, as Drac.ula is surprised that Jonathan can see the blue flame that appears on St. Georges' day. This is because the 'evil spirits' of the Goetia are but physical representations of portions of the human brain and its many representations and stimulants; such as taste, touch, and smell. The point of the teachings of Scholomance are to become extremely aware of your own reflection, and on the significance of your awareness.
Students learn the invocations, the sacraments, the impressions of their sub-consciousness, and all known abnormal states of the body. Phenomena or miracles are considered part of life, and ceremonial magia or goetia the way for physiological experiments to be conducted without a fear of the end result. they too are taught the important symbolism and reverence of the ideology of baphomet and abraxas the archon.
“Agrippa told us that "Magic is the highest, most absolute and most divine knowledge of natural philosophy, advanced in its works and wonderful operations by a right understanding of the inward and occult virtue of things; so that true agents being applied to proper patients, strange and admirable effects will thereby be produced. whence magicians are profound and dilligent searchers into nature; they, because of their skill, know to anticipate an effort, the which to the vulgar shall seem to be a miracle.“
it is important to my portrayal to remember that the count was the 10th scholar, and that that fact sealed his fate to eventually fall, no matter what great things he had been destined to do with his powers prior. this is fitting considering that his initial descent beneath the city of sibiu, into this academy, was done out of spite and out of need for revenge to the order that had previously used him, also named the order of the dragon. the irony rests in that his fate seems to be one great circle, all leading him back to and from these teachings as a sort of curse. so it is only fitting that his immortal life, though achieved, by lived in a curse far worse than death, in his own personal hell.

I’d love to hear more about your thoughts on Solomon
oops. this turned into a long-ass essay about racism, financial morality, and child programming, so I'll put it under a readmore. click at your own peril.
oughhh ughhhhh thinks about Solomon and gets ill.
I've given my Ben 10 racism speech before so bear with me if you know me and you've heard this before. (if you haven't: yes, you read that right, my Ben 10 racism speech.) listen listen listen. okay, so.
as someone who was raised as a conservative, homophobic, capitalist christian who fully held onto those beliefs and acted on them for a long time: it means the WORLD to me when I see an objectively terrible, morally awful person portrayed in a sympathetic light.
and it makes me want to KILL A MAN when I see a "sympathetic racist" (or capitalist, or homophobic, etc.) and the reasons they're supposed to be sympathetic are so laughably stupid that it ends up encouraging the idea that all bad people are intrinsically bad and cannot be redeemed.
the most common bad "sympathetic racist" character I see is "their family member was killed by a member of the group they despise. therefore, they hate that whole group."
that is NOT how ANY form of discrimination—including financial discrimination—works. I don't have a fear or hatred of long-haired boys because my stalker ex who tormented me for years was a brown-haired boy. even children can grasp that one trait of a person does not necessarily correlate to their other traits.
discrimination—for the vast majority of cases—happens due to child indoctrination. when an impressionable child is told, over and over again, that a certain group is inherently "bad" or "flawed," and told to exercise caution or hatred towards that group, a precedent is set. that child will likely be sheltered from good interactions with the targeted group, and therefore, any experiences they have of that group will be negative.
growing up, they will rub elbows with the targeted group a bit more, but they will already have a strong belief that has been "confirmed" by their tailored experiences. if they have any good experiences, they will cherry-pick information and repackage any positive feelings as "an exception" or the targeted group "deceiving" them, or even "having some good qualities but being bad/flawed at the core." they may avoid any future experiences with the group to avoid cognitive dissonance—effectively sheltering themselves like their parents sheltered them.
the reason I call this my Ben 10 Racism Speech is because Ben 10 is the first show where I ever saw a good depiction of a sympathetic racist character. we meet this one alien is a eugenicist, whose race believes they are the ultimate lifeform and that all other species are inferior. obviously, he's an antagonist. but Ben tries to befriend and help him, over and over, even when he refuses help. finally, when the alien loses an arm, Ben uses his powers to implant a new one on him. the alien assists Ben in getting back home—but refuses to go home himself, as he believes he is now "contaminated" (having DNA from another species inside of him) and is unfit to go back to his planet.
he literally tries to stay in a desert where he will die because he is so conditioned to think of his race as superior, that he is not immune to the racism. when a helpful medical procedure changes his own DNA, he thinks himself a lowly, disgusting creature fit only for death.
what does this have to do with Solomon?
well, Solomon certainly isn't a self-hating racist. (that would be Michelle.) but he IS—inarguably and unequivocally—a prime example of a monster who was raised to be a monster.
Solomon was literally raised by, and around, demons in hell. he was taught that mortals, especially the poor, were only designed to serve greater beings such as himself. in fact, the whole reason his family moved out from hell was because they were at the bottom of the social ladder there, but the top of the ladder on earth. he was taught that this was just the way things worked. he was trained by his father to one day kill his father, and consume his ashes, and that one day he would lay an egg and do the same.
he was taught these things as a baby. he has been raised his whole 17 years of life without contact to humankind. in fact, it's kind of astounding just how friendly he is on his first day of Valor Academy, even if he DOES see everyone else as "lesser than" him. he seems very strongly to desire a friendship and companionship that hasn't been provided for him at home, but he doesn't exactly recognize that friendship and companionship—the things he wants—necessitate equality.
but then he meets Benji. Benji, who—as far as he knew at the time—was an orphaned pauper boy with nothing to his name. quite literally at the bottom of the social ladder. but Solomon likes Benji. he's witty, he's funny, he knows a lot about the world. Solomon likes being around him. and Benji starts working to reform him. forcing him to volunteer at a soup kitchen. taking him out of that sheltered state and making him actually meet other humans, mortals, poor people.
and then.
then he meets Vika.
and Vika is a character I could do a whole other analysis on, but by god is she a bad combination with Solomon. because on one hand, she tells Solomon just how wrong he is, she's loud and brash and not afraid to state things as they are without coddling him.
but on the other, she refuses to take off her rose-tinted glasses about the slave colony she grew up in. she frequently refers to it as the best time of her life, as a perfect society, as something to be emulated. because she, too, was indoctrinated into a lie, and told that Donovan King Jr was their savior. and even if she no longer defends HIM, she still defends the slave colony.
and when she repeats that rhetoric, it re-activates Solomon's programming.
someone who didn't grow up with rigid doctrine, especially for such a length as 17 years, can probably never hope to understand how hard it is to break out. pathways in the brain are physically etched to rearrange morals, indecipherable from what might be "common sense" to someone else. and like the Winter Soldier, sometimes just one key phrase or story can set someone back years by triggering old programming associated with feelings of piousness or guilt.
Solomon was raised to be the worst kind of person on earth. and he wants to be better.
but god, is it going to be a struggle to get there.

DO NOT REBLOG!!!
“The Draculas were, says Arminius, a great and noble family, though now and again were scions who were held by their coevals to have had dealings with the Evil One. They learned his secrets in the Scholomance, amongst the mountains over Lake Hermanstadt, where the devil claims the tenth scholar as his due.”
“He dared even to attend the Scholomance, and there was no branch of knowledge of his time that he did not essay.” - Bram Stoker, Dracula
Dracula was known even throughout his history to have been a pupil of Solomanta (Scholomance). With his name denoting the phrase ‘son of the dragon’, and the school itself being referred to as L'École du Dracul’, or School of the Dragon.
It was at this school where 13 pupils were permitted to learn different magicks, as well as the ability to communicate in the languages of beasts, or even fly dragons into battle. It is assumed that this school, as it is one that teaches the solomonari (students) how to control the rain, is where dracula got his ability to summon clouds, lightning and wind. What’s more, the students of Solomanta were made to swear off sunlight for seven years during their training.
Throughout life Solomonari were meant to document their understanding of humankind and its history and affinity to magick. Dracula, being immortal, was said to have documented every branch of history he’d lived through. He was also rumoured to have a great knowledge of alchemy and science, having a castle fueled entirely by machinery and electricity in a time when this was otherwise unheard of.
While some believe Solomanta to be run entirely by the devil, it’s widely speculated that this is a demonized mistranslation from its original purpose; a school based on the teachings of solomon, who was also suggested to have controlled the weather in old mythology. This blog follows this as canon, and has no connection to solomanta and the devil.
In different canon media, we see characters seeking out dracula to learn of either his magic or his sciences (see: Castleva.nia) or to fend him or his family members off as fiends (see: The Sight, David Clement-Davies) that had strong connection to wolves and the fae of trans.ylvania.
This blog follows the headcanon that Dracula has taught a handful of his own solomonari since the disbanding and dismantling of Solomanta. Those that come to him that show a necessity to learn and a propensity to use it for self-preservation rather than domination or heroism.
