look this is really probably unnecessary, but I've seen tons of posts about how everyone is mad about the page that's going to post unmasked pics of the st guys and how outrageously disrespectful it is to them and well... I gotta say that it's just not that deep.
it's been pointed out that they've only ever said that 'their identities aren't important to the music or the story'. and that's it in terms of the "extreme lengths" they go to hide their identities.
i'm a regular follower of the reddit page where their identities are openly discussed and there is a decent amount of evidence that one of them or someone from their team lurks there and plays around a little with that community. ie, a few of the recent "the summoning solo shenanigans" were suggested in that thread and then seen on stage the next show. but who knows.
some of the guys are actually still participating in other media to a small extent. one of them still streams with a friend on twitch often. one of them just put out some older official music project on Spotify. one of them gets his new tattoos posted unmasked on his tattoo artist's page.
look, I'm not saying that this person who plans to bring this stuff to Tumblr shouldn't be warned about and of course everyone should have the opportunity to block and avoid it to keep their experience of the band how they prefer. that's no question how it should be.
but like... everyone is saying that this person who's starting the unmasked blog is like, evil and so disrespectful to the band. and I think that's just not right. it's their right to start whatever kind of page they want. it's everyone else's right to avoid it.
like I said, this is not really going anywhere, and it's not personal, I just have seen so many people bashing that person on a personal level and I just gotta tell someone, it's not that deep. thank you for reading
To me it is that deep, from what i’ve heard there was a major panic on Instagram in 2023 bc freaks were using info on there to harass II and his family. Hell he still alters his voice in videos, which you only do if you’re concerned someone is dedicated enough to scrape the internet with audio of your vocal patterns. I’ve seen video footage of Vessel cussing out a guy at a festival for yelling real names in the audience. There is direct evidence that the band members dislike off-stage info being known and shared, and that a portion of Sleep Token’s fanbase cannot be trusted to respect the secrecy that allows the band members to live comfortable lives relatively peacefully and out of the public eye.
In my personal opinion, your examples of how they’re still on other social media, and that you know that info abt them are reinforcement of my dislike for unmasked data aggregates. Unless the tattoo artist’s posts or the twitch stream is tagged #SleepToken there is probably a reasonable expectation that they don’t want band related attention for those things. Even if somebody does recognize them as the band members, it would be a minority population if it weren’t for subreddits and archives directly connecting dots between those things and Sleep Token, which is presumably why you have that info yourself in the first place.
By aggregating and collecting unmasked info, a resource is being provided that essentially says “Hey i know these guys have almost entirely retreated from the internet for their own safety and comfort…but here’s their names and faces and loved ones and colleagues and past projects and every little activity they do in their spare time. All gathered together and directly tagged and marked in relation to the band they’ve purposefully tried to anonymize and distance their real lives from”.
It’s stalker behavior, it’s unhealthy, it could be genuinely dangerous for the members if the wrong person made use of it, and i reserve the right to passionately condemn it.

[ 😂▶️ ] CHICHI making Award Shows a whole mess... | CHICHI Funny Moments
Tumblr media
♡𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭: @amyysfics , @smh-anon , @neohyxn , @stealanity , @alixnsuperstxr , @juliawritingblog , @rizzshimura , @elizalabs3
╭── ⋅ ⋅ ── ✩ ── ⋅ ⋅ ──╮
from video creator: hi hello! we all probably know how energetic chichi is, but what happens to her during the Award Shows goes beyond all scale and this has to be studied T_T enjoy the video!!
⋅ ⋅ ── ✩ ── ⋅ ⋅
[#1] Chichi Everywhere All Around The World
At first, the camera shoots her as she sits at the same table with the rest of Stray Kids, so everything seems normal. However, when IVE is shown a few shots later, Chichi can be seen talking to Seventeen in the background. When the cameraman walked over to Seventeen, Chichi crouched down and ran away from the table only to be seen moments later sitting in one chair with San from ATEEZ, very engrossed in a conversation with Yeosang [ this is probably the only time the idols can talk to each other for more than 10 seconds... ].
In the end, Lino had to bring her back to their table - this particular moment became a big viral.
⋅ ⋅ ── ✩ ── ⋅ ⋅
[#2] 3RACHA's famous award
Han and Seungmin had to turn back from the road to the restroom so that 3RACHA could take their award.
However, during this, two people were missing from the table - Hyunjin and Chichi. On a later live broadcast on Instagram, Hyunjin addressed the situation.
"I also really wanted to be present and show them the thumbs down along with the rest. But unfortunately I was with Chichi in the restroom [ with her??? why is he talking about it so casually?! ]. It took us longer than we planned, so we didn't make it... Too bad [ what were you two doing in the restroom together?! ] "
Chichi was present at the live and left a comment:
"kekekeke. next time we have to pee faster. hwang hyunjin, fighting! [ pls, she's so unserious 😭 ] "
⋅ ⋅ ── ✩ ── ⋅ ⋅
[#3] No One Is Left Behind...
At one Award Shows, where lightsticks were allowed, Chichi decided to take full advantage. After walking down the red carpet, she picked up a large white bag from a staff member. Security looked inside and, after a slight hesitation, let her go on.
It turned out that inside were the lighsticks of each group performing that day - Chichi made sure she remembered exactly which belonged to whom, and gave her all in support of the performing idols.
The idols, however, were not indebted to her, and during her solo performance (MAMA 2022) a Stray Kids lighstick appeared in the hands of most of them.
⋅ ⋅ ── ✩ ── ⋅ ⋅
[#4] Please Send Help (for them, not for me)
One of Chichi's most iconic moments at the Award Shows - when she was about to give a speech in Japanese, instead of approaching the microphone, she tilted it all together with the stand to her side so as not to make a fuss with the change of places... which resulted in making even bigger fuss [ Lee Know already knows who is sleeping outside tonight lmao ].
⋅ ⋅ ── ✩ ── ⋅ ⋅
[#5] Chichi, Han and Changbin repair a broken table together
On the only video of this situation, the audio is unfortunately inaudible, so one can only guess that Chichi was telling some sort of adecdote, as she was gesticulating heavily and Han and Changbin were laughing. At one point, Chichi wanted to demonstrate knocking over a table as part of the story, but unfortunately she mismeasured the distance between the table and her hands, because the table really did knock over. She quickly covered her mouth with her hands, and Changbin picked up the broken, thin leg of the plastic table from the floor. He put it back on the floor, and Chichi and Han began to collect the water bottles that had previously been on the table and started to make a tower out of them - a new leg for the table. When the other Kids returned from the restroom, they began to bend in half from laughter.
⋅ ⋅ ── ✩ ── ⋅ ⋅
[#6] Award names too difficult, brain too small
Chichi has repeatedly confused or misrepresented the names of the awards she has received while giving thanks, which is later the subject of endless jokes.
⋅ ⋅ ── ✩ ── ⋅ ⋅
[#7] Let the light shine on me... or something
The clip is from the debut period. Chichi went to the restroom during the final rehearsal, so she arrived evenly on time. She was invited hurriedly to the stage because, as the gala staff informed her, her rehearsal had just begun. So she entered the stage quickly only to find that she had been mistaken for a TWICE member because she had been seen with them before the rehearsal. She seized the opportunity and mingled with the group, dancing with them as a joke. It wasn't until Jihyo at the chorus that she realized they were a bit too big group...
⋅ ⋅ ── ✩ ── ⋅ ⋅
[#8] Problem
Chichi on her recent live on Instagram told what happened to her at one of the Award Shows (she did not name it).
"As a member of Stray Kids, I always had a dressing room with them, that's logical, right? However, this time when we arrived I was informed that my dressing room was a separate room. I was surprised, and immediately asked the reason for this decision. It turned out that it was simply to separate the boys from the girls. I knocked immediately to KARD's room and asked if the situation was similar at their place, meanwhile our manager also tried to explain it. They answered me that they are together, but there is simply a screen in their room." Chichi laughed and scratched her neck. "Seemingly nothing, but I felt separated from the rest, such a situation had never happened before [ now they were reminded that Chichi is a woman?? ]. So I took my things from there together with the members and moved to their dressing room. Jiwoo and J.seph lent us their screen, which broke when we tried to fold it enough to get through the door." She laughed out loud. "I even have a piece of its decoration, as a souvenir."
⋅ ⋅ ── ✩ ── ⋅ ⋅
[#9] Get in line
Stray Kids were the first to enter the red carpet, right after the main MC of Award Show. However, Chichi came out a tad too quickly, which resulted in the male MC thinking there had been a change and handing her one of the two microphones he was holding. She, however, just quickly turned on her heel and hid behind Bang Chan, who eased the whole situation until the entrance of correct female MC.

[240824] ETERNAL PROJECT
Tumblr media
[NEW UPLOAD FROM TAEMIN]
태민 (TAEMIN) @/TAEMIN_BPM
[#태민] ETERNAL owes its success to the talented young producer at the head of this project, who spent time within hectic schedules creating this masterpiece. Himari has now been part of my team for four years and keeps surpassing previous works with every release, I truly would not have made it to this point without her creative vision.
From recording demo tracks in hotel rooms to putting together instrumental drafts in the car between events, she truly did put everything into this album. At only 22 years old her leadership has brought divided opinions together and her artistic soul made unique harmonies from unexpected styles. I can not properly express my gratitude towards this wonderful young woman, but know that without her this album would not have been what it is today.
The influence she has had on the industry at such a young age is truly something rare, and I can confidently say that her and ATEEZ's careers will see nothing but success. Turning everything she touches into gold no matter how nonsensical it may be, she truly is the second Hand of Midas. Please enjoy plenty of rest when these next schedules end and take care of your health, our Himari ❤️I will ETERNALLY be grateful for your presence

mikah @/himaswife Replying to @/TAEMIN_BPM I can't believe she went from thinking about leaving the group because of hate to leading huge projects for idols as successful as Taemin. It's kind of strange seeing her growing up this fast right in front of our eyes 🥹 The talent this girl has is really unbelievable especially considering how different his style is to ATEEZ
Hotteokie N.1 @/yunhosbuckethat Replying to @/TAEMIN_BPM we forget too quickly that she was given a FULL KOMCA MEMBERSHIP before 3Racha, who are an absolute production powerhouse and even won 'best creator' at the AAA last year (also with all those royalties this girl has to be secretly rich-)
GOTTA WORK GOTTA WORK @/lightuptiny Replying to @/yunhosbuckethat it's not even a secret anymore 😭some people noticed that she was using a black card in certain videos and are pretty sure it was pulled out of her wallet. Bang Chan and her are also standing at the same number of credits right now (193)
왔다 갔다 @/yeosangiecookie Replying to @/TAEMIN_BPM I love their synergy so much, every album is always somewhat experimental in the style it uses but even though it's risky the results are breath taking 🙌 sexy concepts are pretty common for Taemin or the industry in general but this really makes you feel the sensuality, it drags you in, I honestly can't get enough of this duo
Uyu @/bulleobulleooo Replying to @/TAEMIN_BPM I'd like to remind everyone that S-Coups himself wrote in an instagram story; 'There's something very special about this girl, it's almost like she was created to make music, she's almost music herself.' when he shared a screenshot of 'Shadow' playing on Spotify
sweethwa @/weonfirewihomhae Replying to @/TAEMIN_BPM J-Hope and Jungkook went to her for their solos for a reason and as much as people like to say it's because she's privileged to have known them for a long time, they've known other producers for a long time as well. she's so versatile in her own sound that she's able to work with almost anyone because she takes their creative vision on as her own. just look at behind the scenes where she talks with Hongjoong and Mingi, she's able to use everyone's ideas to create something that has one single voice. artists tend to gravitate towards her because she finds inspiration in the people themselves, in their souls, that's what makes her so special

The My Tears Ricochet Deep Dive
While this song obviously has a clear reference to Taylor’s masters being sold to Scooter Braun in November 2019, I don’t think that’s the full story being told here.
When she released Folklore, Taylor shared via Instagram that “My Tears Ricochet” is about an “embittered tormentor showing up at the funeral of his fallen object of obsession.”
Now, why is she fallen? Because her work has been taken from her. Okay, one question answered. ✅
Now, who is the “embittered tormentor obsessed” with Taylor? Scooter Braun, of course…But see, I actually don’t think it’s that simple. I get why that’s the obvious first choice, though.
(Back story for new kids who don’t know why Scoots is trash: In July 2016, Taylor was outcast and called a snake due to a leaked phone call by Kim Kardashian and her then-husband Kanye West. Scooter was Kanye’s manager. Then Kanye put out the video of the song in question from the call—featuring a naked Taylor lookalike. Then Justin Bieber posted that video to Instagram with a photo showing him on a video call with Scooter and Kanye. The caption said, “Taylor Swift what up.” So, they’re all three supreme douche-canoes of the highest order).
However, I think Scooter’s top priority (as always) in buying Taylor’s masters was simply to make money. And if he pissed her off while doing so, that was probably a delightful bonus. But I wouldn’t say he bought her masters because he was obsessed with her. This deal was nearly three years later, and nothing had popped off between the camps in the interim.
I have more on this tormentor/obsessor/muse, concept; but first, back to Folklore. Upon its release, Taylor also revealed in a YouTube livechat that it was the first song she wrote for the album. And that leads me into a bit of timing discussion.
I think Folklore was the result of a few seismic events in Taylor’s life: a run-in with Harry at Ed’s wedding in December 2018 (which I think helped to spawn his second solo album, Fine Line); followed by talking to him during early quarantine in March 2020 in Los Angeles when the Lover tour got postponed and then cancelled; the pandemic itself pushing her, like many of us, into some serious introspection; and, of course, the sale of her masters to Scooter in 2019.
Since this is the very first song Taylor wrote that ended up on Folklore, my speculation is that perhaps it was penned in those first couple of days of the pandemic, before she reconnected with Harry in LA.
Fine Line would have been newly released—just three months prior—and on her birthday no less.
Which leads me back to the tormentor and obsessor. You know what I might find tormenting, if I were Taylor? If I’d been waiting for this one guy to grow the fuck up for years and then (perhaps after we ran into each other at our good friends’ wedding?), he confessed to me that he still wanted me but, even at 25, he still didn’t have his shit together (please see, “Renegade,” “To Be So Lonely,” and “Peter”).
Then, after I piece myself back together following snake gate, some epic twat who bullied me online back then buys my work out from under me from the guy I thought I had a good working relationship with (Scott Borchetta) and while I’m dealing with that bullshit my ex I’m still pining for releases album on my birthday with songs seemingly about us and how he still wants me.
Yeah, that’d have me plenty tormented. And feeling like, since his first album was also quite “a tip of the cap” to me (his words) as well that, yeah, someone was a little obsessed with me.
So, anyway, the lyrics:
We gather here, we line up, weepin' in a sunlit room And if I'm on fire, you'll be made of ashes, too
We open at the funeral Taylor told us about. Then referencing a potential cremation. If she’s burning, so is he. Because they’re twin flames? Because they’re so close?
Even on my worst day, did I deserve, babe All the hell you gave me? 'Cause I loved you, I swear I loved you ‘Til my dying day
Does this sound like someone talking to either a bully or a former business associate? To me it sounds like a very messy, very difficult, former lover.
I didn't have it in myself to go with grace And you're the hero flying around, saving face And if I'm dead to you, why are you at the wake Cursing my name, wishing I stayed Look at how my tears ricochet
I can see how people could think this was about Scott, but not Scooter. But T herself said this whole thing was about one muse: The embittered obsessor attending her funeral.
Anyway, my take: it’s a lover she couldn’t let go of easily, so it ended messy.
And now he’s out promoting an album full of songs about them, pretending it’s not, because he’s a gentleman. But while he’s acting like she’s nothing to him, they both know what he said to her in private, and what those songs are really about, and no matter how much she cries and waits and wants him to grow up and come get her he just can’t — or won’t.
We gather stones, never knowing what they'll means Some to throw, some to make a diamond ring
This is a Biblical allusion to Ecclesiastes 3:5: “A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing.” I think she’s referring here to an idea revisited again in “loml,” that she thought she’d be safer and maybe get the life she wanted with someone more stable, versus being in a relationship that left her starry eyed, like she was with Harry…and that’s how she wound up with Joe for six years.
You know I didn't want to have to haunt you But what a ghostly scene
Ah, would it really be a Haylor lyric breakdown if we weren’t talking about ghosts and haunting at some point? 👻 They obviously haunt one another because they can’t shut up about each other. (Not that I’m complaining!)
Two Ghosts: “We're just two ghosts swimming in a glass half empty.” ....Ready for it?: “Wonder how many girls he loved and left haunted.” Cardigan: “I knew you'd haunt all of my what-ifs.”
You wear the same jewels that I gave you As you bury me
Even while doing the press for Fine Line, H was wearing her ring. Should we talk some more about the Haylor ring? Or burying and graves? Nah. I think these posts sum it up very well.
I didn't have it in myself to go with grace 'Cause when I'd fight, you used to tell me I was brave And if I'm dead to you, why are you at the wake Cursing my name, wishing I stayed Look at how my tears ricochet
I think these lines could be a reference both to things he’s said to her and in his songs about her, particularly the pointed ones. “Lights Up,” for one, which to me, reads like an argumentative back-and-forth about why must things change in a relationship against the backdrop of fame. It also seems to include a tie to “Peter” with “I’m never coming back down,” as compared to “I didn’t want to come down.”
And I can go anywhere I want Anywhere I want, just not home And you can aim for my heart, go for blood But you would still miss me in your bones
And where is home in this case—and so many others? Each other.
And I still talk to you When I'm screaming at the sky And when you can't sleep at night You hear my stolen lullabies
I imagine this is her picturing him listening to her old albums, as she hadn’t done her rerecords yet. Also, again, doesn’t this all seem a bit…intimate and dramatic for a business relationship? Like, picture this moment in the Eras Tour in your mind, please, and tell me with a straight face that you’d sing like this for your former boss. It certainly doesn’t seem like anything you’d say to someone like Scooter. Why would she ever want to talk to him at all?
I didn't have it in myself to go with grace And so the battleships will sink beneath the waves You had to kill me, but it killed you just the same Cursing my name, wishing I stayed You turned into your worst fears And you're tossing out blame, drunk on this pain Crossing out the good years And you're cursing my name, wishing I stayed Look at how my tears ricochet
So, this is where we get into the “embittered” part of Taylor’s original description of the song’s muse—the person visiting her funeral. Why is he bitter? Because he lost her. She didn’t stay. Perhaps because his own bad behavior pushed her away. “All the light couldn’t put out the dark running through my heart?” “I know you were way too bright for me. I’m hopeless, broken.” Also, and again, please see, “Renegade,” and “To Be So Lonely,” and “Peter” and also “Chloe or Sam or Sophia or Marcus.”

I saw some being like "oh she's posting jimin's videos on her Instagram where people are putting hearts and calling them cute, he's definitely dating her" and I'm like WHAT??? What are you 9 ??? Who even thinks like that?
Also people tend to Forgot that he's literally THEE PARK JIMIN like he's not just an any idol but he's someone the whole industry talks about when it comes to dance and performance. There won't be a single moment even in future where they'll talk about the best dancer/perfomer of the industry and they won't mention jimin cause he's a "IT" in that department. They're in the fandom so they see him regularly so think he's just their best friend or something but he's a celebrity with a bigg reputation and impact. The dancers and perfomers look upto him and would do anything to share a stage with him. Jimin is just as significant as BTS even as a solo. If i danced with him as the way the girl did (I'm sorry idk her name, but it's the girl many call his reflection 😅 and she was the one who was posting all the stories from fans where she was tagged and doing choreo with him) i would literally never let anyone forgot who i danced with lol.
Idk what kind of alternate universe these stupid people be living and when you tell them he ain't dating her, they start lecturing you "why? Because she's just a backup dancer? So what? Love can happen with anyone" and I'm like brother move??? 😑😑😑 I'm sorry but kpop really has the stupidest arguments and like who even thinks that far over something so normal? I wouldn't think he's dating someone until unless we get a proof cause nothing these boys do can suddenly make me think to they're dating xyz cause they literally do the bare minimum than than anyone else in entertainment industry.
“Armys always say that they would be fine with bts dating. They talk about the future, not the present tense, because when there are any rumors about a relationship, armys deny it
In short
Armys: members can date anyone they want, they are adults and we respect them and their privacy🥰
Also armys when there is real evidence that one of the members has a girlfriend: impossible 🙈🙉🤬🤥”
Army have such a long history with never being able to be normal about the women BTS interact with. And some of them think being “normal” is to over compensate. Even besides the sk one who did the reflection portion, there was the one from fallon that people were putting on a pedestal for no reason. Like y’all had no idea this woman even existed before now.
They had found her socials the minute after that episode aired and started to follow her then wanted to act like that wasn’t weird. They’ll stress themselves out over the same scenarios they created in their own heads because when they see these men with women, they’re imagining their potential futures where they’re not the one who will be with them romantically.
I think TH with Jennie (and JK with all the girls he’s been caught with) are the only examples we’ve gotten of any of BTS actually being with women. Some people say that the reason armys were upset about TH being with Jennie is because they hate her. And while that’s part of it, they didn’t know any of the girls JK has been seen with. And they’re still in denial that he could have been with them in a dating sense. They simply just don’t like the idea of them dating period.

listening to a lot of the killers recently and then forgot about brandon's solo albums which then made me think about rockstar!peter's band taking a break for a while. peter has some songs he's written for the band but they never worked on them. but he really wants to work on them, he wants to put them out there and the band tells him to do it, but do it solo. he's confused at first, confused as to why they're so encouraging, but they know how proud he is of these songs and the band just isn't ready to make music again for a while.
so he does, he goes solo for a few years, touring the albums in smaller venues. it's more intimate than the arenas and stadiums that the band is used to. and he loves it just as much as those shows. and the band comes to watch him at a show in their hometown state, cheering the loudest out of everyone. he's able to meet the fans easier too, saying hi and signing stuff at the back entrance to the venues. he stays for hours meeting as many people as he can.
for the first tour, he just has a backing band, using the pre-recorded backing vocals over the speakers. but the second album's tour, he has backing singers on the stage. and one of them is you, and he grows quite fond of you over the duration of the tour. you and him hang out the most, chilling at the back of the bus sharing popcorn and watching movies. you help him write more songs too, one of which he lets you have, after confessing that you want to start your own music career. you refuse at first, but he laughs and says you practically wrote the song yourself anyway so it's only right that you have it. you share a kiss one night during tour, on the balcony of his hotel room after he invites you up for another writing session. you order room service and champagne and it just happens.
over the course of the rest of tour, the fans start to notice there's more pictures of you two than the whole backing band, on his instagram from every city that he posts about. then you post a selfie of you two, your hand grabbing his chin while he squints his eyes and scrunches his mouth up. you caption it "hanging out with this one every day is a dream come true💛". he reposts it to his story with another yellow heart and his fans are flooding your comments asking if you're actually together or just friends. you reply to one of them and tag peter like "well are you gonna say it or am i?".
peter then debuts a new song at the next show and it's very clearly a love song aimed at you. he introduces it saying he wrote it with and about someone special. then he turns to you and asks if you'd join him down the front to help him sing it. a crew member brings out two bar stools for you and him and you both sit down, while he picks up his acoustic guitar and starts the song. you have the opening verse and he doesn't stop looking at you the entire song, smiling while he's singing. when the song finishes, he takes your hand and helps you off the stool, pulling you in for a hug. he kisses your cheek before turning to the crowd and encouraging them to cheer for you as you head back to the little stage at the back where you previously stood.
later on, he's scrolling instagram and reposts a fan's video from the show, sharing the moment between you and him singing and then hugging. he captions it with a yellow heart and tags you as well. you're in the bathroom of the hotel room and you come out and join him on the bed, kissing his cheek and checking your mentions from him. that's when you turn to him and smile.
"yellow hearts are gonna become our thing aren't they?"

instagram user sungie a.k.a. choi joosung
i have a lot of thoughts and feelings and don't want to make them look "cute" or be in "full sentences" so im just putting it under a read more !
he bought the handle off of someone who wasnt using it
he posts like once every couple days on average so even though it's only been open since he joined everlast (3 years) he has a lot of posts. doesn't often delete posts either
mist told me if ur verified u can hide ur following list so.... that's sung. as i said to mist, if it was public he'd follow about 200 accounts, but because it's private he follows probably more like 400. he follows friends, acquaintances, staff, family, bookstagram, random cute aesthetic accounts, his favorite brands, his favorite celebrities, and ngl a few thirst follows (he usually unfollows them when he feels guilty abt it then the cycle starts again the next time the thirst occurs)
his bio link always goes to his latest title track release, except for last year on april fools where he linked a meme video a fan made of him
heavenly is the name of his recent first solo concert. don't hold me to it i might change my mind
the revolving hearts are misc insta stories he wants to keep. usually just days he was rly happy/something memorable happened
sungshines are fan created things. he'll post fansite pics, art, gifts, letters (closed), pictures of fans like from the concert or waiting for him after a music show etc. with art, he mostly posts what's sent to him these days as he's able to avoid the stuff he Doesn't wanna see that way
friends is,, what it says on the tin. him being a fanboy and/or posting pics of/with friends. he's careful about what he posts here to some degree but he tries to be open still. for example instead of posting the pic where he's hugging the lights out of a girl friend, he's posting the public acceptable one where they're minimally touching if anything
bts is like spoiler central. studio (dance or music) pics, spoiler clips, etc. his social media manager will also add appropriately timed actual bts clips here too
motivation are quotes sung sees or reads that he finds beautiful. it's not all super happy positive whatever, sometimes it's just a really beautifully written line in a book he wants to highlight. sometimes it's memes
then for the pics, instead of trying to do smth chronological, i wanted to showcase the general style of pics he usually will post on the main feed. so the genres i'd say (in order, left to right, top to bottom) are cute style pics, aki (his cat), family pics, daily life pics, boyfriendy/thirst trap pics, dance vids

Okay so full disclosure, I usually hate meet-cutes. HOWEVER, I enjoyed writing this one, and it was a fun one to brainstorm. Anyways, you often go to parties full of rich people to laugh at their shenanigans. That is, until you meet a not-so-shitty rich guy named Mark, who invites you to play a game of Codenames with some stakes. (If you don't know how to play Codenames, you may want to watch a video before reading this).
Ah yes, the classic LA house party. While sometimes trashy, at least they usually take place at a nice residence. It was one of those instances where you were invited by a friend of a friend, someone who just wanted to fill rooms so their Instagram stories would look good. To some people, it would appear sad that you were going alone, but you enjoyed the occasional foray into the world of strangers, especially rich ones. Most of them were fascinating, somehow so obsessed with their money that the green in their eyes was too blinding for them to realize you were standing in front of them. However, you do find the occasional true philanthropist, the ones that came into money through a mixture of struggle and luck, and wish to see others do the same. Tonight, at this LA house party, you met one of those rich people.
It was mid-winter, and the dress code was casual. When you walked in you could almost drown in cable-knit sweaters. You honestly couldn’t even remember how you ended up in places like these, but you weren’t the kind to refuse a kind invitation, especially if there was a shit show abound.
“So are the people here wearing way too many cable-knit sweaters, or is it just me?”
You turn to your right as a dark-haired man approaches you from the kitchen, carrying what seems to be a red solo cup of water.
“Oh my god, I was literally just thinking that!”
You two laugh to yourselves and you analyze the man a little further. He seemed almost unaware of where he was, or maybe too aware? It’s hard to say. Clearly he isn’t drunk, but there’s an air of arrogance that surrounds most people you meet at these kinds of these things that he seems to lack.
“So, what’s your deal stranger?”
He almost scoffs.
“What, am I not allowed to introduce myself to a fellow party-goer?”
“Well, most people that introduce themselves to me are snobs looking to shame my choice in sneakers.”
“I mean I had zero intention of shaming your sneakers, and they look quite comfortable honestly.”
He puts out a hand, expecting a shake in exchange. You oblige.
“Mark.”
“Y/n.”
“Well y/n, if you are so incredibly judgemental, why are you here on such a fine and judge-free evening?”
“Honestly? I come to these things to see who gets sloppy drunk and throws a chair.”
“Well, you can rest assured knowing it won’t be me. I can’t drink anyways.”
He swirls the red solo cup in your direction, taking a sip of his sad flavorless water.
“It’s not good either, the tap here tastes horrible.”
“I’m sorry, you’re drinking LA tap water right now?”
“What’s a man supposed to do when there are no water bottles?”
“Uh, die of thirst or drink soda.”
An encore of laughter rings through the entrance. When it dies down, Mark asks you a question.
“Are you a board game enthusiast by chance?”
“Depends on what board game. Monopoly should be banned from the planet.”
“Agreed, mainly because I hate playing it with my friends. But no, not Monopoly. Have you ever played Codenames?”
“Maybe when I was younger, but I honestly can’t remember.”
“Well, some of the people that come to these regularly like to make these huge gambling pots on rounds of Codenames. It’s like a twenty-dollar buy-in, but you can bet as much as you want, and it forces other people to have a higher buy-in, so it gets a little crazy.”
You almost roll your eyes.
“Oh, so you’re throwing your money at other rich people over some board game?”
“Well when I lose, yes, but I don’t usually lose, and when I don’t lose I give my earnings to a charity voted by the group. Honestly, I think it’s a fun way for them to donate their money through me, instead of actually having to do it themselves.”
You stay silent for a moment, a little shocked at how this guy doesn’t seem to be a douchebag.
“So are you inviting me to said game?”
“Yeah, you seem like you’d be a good teammate.”
“Well, if you’re paying, then I’m in.”
You throw him a snarky smile.
“You think I’d invite a stranger to do something expensive and expect them to pay? You wound me.”
Mark playfully grabs at his chest, as if he’s been stabbed. Once he’s done being dramatic, the both of you make it to the living room, where they’re setting up the game. Mark then greets the guys setting it up and gestures to you, introducing you to the men.
“This is y/n. Y/n, this is Freddie and Mike.”
After a little bit of small talk, you find out that Freddie and Mike run a gym that doesn’t allow women and frequently talk about crypto. You also realize that Mark actually hates these guys, and you start to realize why he’s here and why he plays their little game in the first place. He’s robin-hooding some idiots.
Soon enough the game starts, and you’re playing the operative. Freddie and Mike go first, only getting one out of eight cards. Then you and Mark go, getting two out of nine. It goes steady for a while, Freddie often messing up the meaning of what Mike meant by his clue. Eventually the game gets close, as you are still learning the way Mark plays. You have two left to win, and the opposing team has three. While they’ve been doing badly so far, it’s still possible they could win it.
“Alright y/n, your clue is ‘Tap’ for two.”
You begin to think, scanning the board. There’s nothing about dance or shoes, so it can’t be tap dance. There’s also nothing related to alcohol. You’re almost out of time when your eyes wander to the right-hand corner, where you see two words.
“Water, and soda.”
Mark slams down the agent cards, and Freddie looks down at his shoes sadly, handing over their money to you with a dejected look. Mark counts up the money and tells them he’s only interested in one for the night, and the next gamblers line up to take your place.
“How did you know I’d get that?”
“Eh, you seem smart enough to tie it back to our conversation from earlier.”
The two of you walk outside and sit on the porch of the mansion.
“So you really just come to stuff like this to take money from shitty people and donate it?”
“Yeah, pretty much. They don’t always realize it though, like those two. I’ve been giving their money to Planned Parenthood for years.”
You burst out laughing at the irony.
“Oh my god, that’s great.”
Both of you continue laughing for a long time, and you wipe away at tears from chuckling so hard.
“This uh, has been really fun. I usually hate rich people parties.”
“Well, at least you don’t hate me. So far.”
“Well, we could keep the night going and we’ll see if I start to hate you.”
Mark smiles.
“Yeah, that sounds fun.”
“Wanna go grab a drink?”
You smirk and he glares at you. Instead of a drink, you decide to go get some takeout and sit in a parking lot alone. It’s fun and casual, and besides, you weren’t expecting to meet such a cool guy. Into the night, the two of you scheme more on how to scam rich assholes, and you also scheme on an idea for a future date.

Well... I've worked with quite a few indie musicians some more successful than others.
Some talented like Matt from the Lujuria or Fede Diaz (who still needs some polishing, but its a matter of time. He erased all of his songs!! I can't believe it 😱). And some who thought themselves to be The Next Big Thing but clearly weren't.
One of them -whose name shall remain undisclosed- treated me not as a Publicist nor even as a Community Manager but as a secretary and made me prepare all the things he needed to register his songs (so, transcribing his lyrics to a Word document because he didn't remember where he placed the originals and had "no time" to do it himself, buying the right envelopes, buying CDs -but he was going to burn them because those needed to be "properly recorded"- and get all the paperwork sorted out -a form with each song and CD inside an envelope-)*. All of this was done with 1 day notice and mostly on the street because neither of us had a working printer and we needed to print all of that. It was raining, we were on the line on the street to the Intelectual Property's registration office (in mid Covid, so nobody could enter in the building and everything was done in the lobby, basically). He was covering himself with my umbrella (I had all the things in my hands and asked him to hold it so I could put everything in order). We were getting closer to the entrance and Andrea Álvarez (famous percussionist and drummer that worked with many legendary bands in Argentina and also has her solo career) came out. He knew her from before so they had a brief talk and took a selfie. Once she was gone, he turns to me and said "oh, you are here! I forgot! I was about to send you the photo to post on Instagram" and laughed 😑. Just to be clear, she was super nice and did said "Hi" to me before he started to bombard her with his stuff (and she would also look at me every now and then when talking so I could feel included)... but he could've said "This is Laura, she's helping me out" at the very least. I ended up ghosting this guy for many other reasons, but that's a story for another day.
On the other hand, my guitar teacher is part of the band Suena Supernova (he's the drummer) and he also works with Marcela Morelo and David Lebón among others (both of them are famous in here -their prime has passed, but they still work).
As the final piece of resistance, I was on the news (yes, that's me on the hideous thumbnail) about 4 or 5 years ago (?) and gave interviews to 3 channels at least after my aunt filmed a guy hitting his girlfriend on the street and I posted it on Facebook to see if anybody knew him (it went viral over night and even other countries picked up the video and played it on their News).
*this isn't written in any specific order, it was just written in the order they occured to me

Darren Hayes shows off his hard work in ripped shirtless pic
Tumblr media
Darren Hayes has posted a shirtless thirst trap to Instagram, showing off the difference a year of boxing and boot camp makes.
The former Savage Garden frontman is 52 and posted the before-and-after fitness pics on social media on Monday.
Darren revealed the exercise regime and hard work in the gym he’d put in between the two photos.
“I’m 52. Pic on the left is after about a year of boxing, Basecamp and Barry’s boot camp,” he wrote.
“Pic on right was just after I came back from tour 2 years ago.
But Darren added, “Exercise is HARD as you get older but it keeps me sane.”
You look amazing, Darren. Keep it up!

Darren Hayes will release memoir later this year
A few months ago, Darren Hayes confirmed the title and release date of his upcoming autobiography Unlovable. The book is out on November 5.
Darren Hayes said of the book, “I’ve been secretly telling stories about my life, through my music, since the very first Savage Garden single.
“Back then my innermost thoughts were shrouded in lyrical metaphor and deeply embedded within the visuals and stage costumes of a fantastical pop career.
“The reality of my life was much more complicated than the constraints of a 3-minute radio song would allow.
“Almost 30 years later, I feel free for the first time in my life… to truly tell my authentic story.”
As Savage Garden, Darren Hayes and his bandmate Daniel Jones released 1997’s self-titled album and 1999 follow-up Affirmation. Both were huge hits.
After the pop duo split, Darren released five solo albums, starting with 2002’s Spin.
Darren has spoken about the shocking homophobia he struggled against in the music industry in the 90s and 2000s.
Twenty years after his solo debut, Darren released new music for the first time in a decade on the defiantly-titled 2022 album Homosexual.

Liner Notes (June 1st, 2024)
The first great pop-punk album of summer 2024 is here. Plus, some other random thoughts on other things. This week’s supporter Q&A post can be found here. If you’d like this newsletter delivered to your inbox each week (it’s free and available to everyone), you can sign up here. A Few Things * I liked this article in the Washington Post that looked at the data behind when people think America was “great.” The answer? It’s not an era; it’s an age: “The good old days when America was “great” aren’t the 1950s. They’re whatever decade you were 11, your parents knew the correct answer to any question, and you’d never heard of war crimes tribunals, microplastics or improvised explosive devices. Or when you were 15 and athletes and musicians still played hard and hadn’t sold out.” * All the AI fails from Google have been getting the headlines lately, but the story I think has still been underreported is the fact that Google search kind of sucks now. The core product has been suffering for a while, and the recent leaks show the company has been pretty shady as well. Usually, when that happens, it’s a steep line down. As an owner of a small blog, I’ve seen this reflected in our traffic for years; I stopped even trying to get ranked and don’t pay attention to our search traffic. But every time I Google a recipe and have to handle three fourths of a page of SEO slop, I am reminded of it. It’s too bad that Google and Facebook basically murdered the online ad business, and right now, does either offer much value? Instagram? For me, it’s probably Gmail. However, that only powers my email backend and I use Mimestream as the client. These companies are so big and dominant that it’s hard to see competition even getting a foothold to disrupt them, but damn. In Case You Missed It * Rare 1997 Footage of Blink-182 Live * The Black Keys Cancel Arena Tour * Spotify to Discontinue Car Thing * Liner Notes (May 25th, 2024) * Best Case – “Heavy Seas” (Video Premiere) * Bert McCracken Announces Solo Project * Balance and Composure Announce New Album * Four Year Strong Announce New Album * The Menzingers Announce Deluxe Album * Albums in Stores – May 31st, 2024 Music Thoughts * In this house, summer begins when the first new pop-punk album drops that makes me feel like sunshine is pumping through my veins. This year, it’s officially Super American’s awesome Gangster of Love—just a ridiculously fun, energetic, creative, and all around blast of an album. There’s a lot of classic pop-punk here, but I also love the quirkiness and what feels like a little Relient K and Motion City Soundtrack influence in their style. This is going to absolutely dominate my next few months, and the only complaint I have is the album cover is preventing me from wanting to purchase it on vinyl. (Their previous album is also a lot of fun, but this one is exploring some new things that elevate their sound to the next level.) * Happy 25th anniversary to Blink-182’s Enema of the State. No album in history has had a bigger impact on my life. * Arrows in Action’s new single “Hello Sunlight” is another solid tune, and Neon Trees are finally giving us new album information next week. Their run of singles has me anticipating this one quite a bit. * Ben Platt’s latest didn’t stick with me on first listen the way his last did. It has a nice breezy feel that maybe I’ll come back to one of these summer nights and connect with, but my first listen had me checking how many songs were left multiple times. Not usually a good sign. * Days Away’s Mapping an Invisible World is still one of the most underrated albums ever. I listened to it twice this week and still marvel at how modern it sounds. Someone press this to vinyl, please. * Super American got me back on a Relient K kick, and every single one of their albums puts a smile on my face. * Cassadee Pope’s upcoming “return to pop-punk” album is interesting. She has obvious vocal chops, but the album doesn’t have the hooks I… https://chorus.fm/features/articles/liner-notes-june-1st-2024/

Consumer Guide / No.127 / Joe Williams of MODERN AGE BAND, with Mark Watkins.
MW: Tell me about the band - the name, the members, the sound you make...
JW:  MODERN AGE BAND consists of - Joe Williams (19) (me!) : vocals + guitar, Charlie Holden (18) : vocals + bass, Corey Pitt (18) : vocals + guitar and David Vine (17) : drums
We started back in 2019, with me, Charlie, David and Jamie Cartwright who is no longer in the band but has his own great solo project going on.  Corey joined at the beginning of 2022 after Jamie’s departure and that’s when we started taking on the clubs in Liverpool, playing sets of all of our own material, which compared to playing covers in pubs for a few years was a real joy for us.
Now 2 years on we’ve got a loyal fan base starting to brew.
The sound we make, to narrow it down, consists of some psychedelic rock, mixed with blues, Americana and Indie, just to name a few. We like to have a lot of different sounds with our songs as we think it’s important as a band to keep fresh ideas coming. For example, some songs that might inspire us to write a song could range from an old hidden folk gem that we’ve found on Spotify, to a hip hop track that has a cool bass line. That’s why it’s hard for us to put just one genre on our music because each song is it’s own vibe in a way.
MW: What do you currently like about "the modern age"?
JW: We’re big fans of the footy, me and David supporting Liverpool and Charlie supporting Everton, Corey doesn’t care much for the football.
And of course we’re big fans of going to gigs, we’ve all got a few coming up this year, Corey and David are seeing King Gizzard in Liverpool in May and I’m seeing Paul Weller in July, just to name a couple.
MW: What are you reading, watching and listening to at the moment?
JW: At the moment I’m reading Robbie Robertson’s autobiography “Testimony”. It’s a really good insight into what it was like to go out on the road as a band non stop through the 50s, 60s and 70s. It’s a great read, some amazing stories - would definitely recommend it if you're a fan of The Band or just music in general.
As for TV, I’ve just finished a series called “The Serpent” about serial killer Charles Sobhraj, which was a dark but interesting watch - would also recommend.
I’m currently listening to a lot of different music, but these are some I’ve had on repeat a lot lately:
Queens Of The Stone Age, The Verve, Paul McCartney & Wings, The Band and MF DOOM.
MW: Have you ever found anything good in a charity shop?
JW: The best thing I’ve found in a charity shop is an original 1976 pressing of “Wings Over America” for £2 in Ormskirk, I was made up.
MW: Is having a Mayor of Liverpool worthwhile? How does your Mayor compare to the one in Manchester?
JW: To be completely honest, as we’re only young lads we don’t pay a huge amount of attention to what’s going on with mayors, however I still think that it’s definitely worthwhile to have someone in that role for the city to keep things in line.
MW: Are you more CASH than CARD when paying for goods and services?
JW: On the whole, I am definitely more card than cash. However, when going to a pub or restaurant I like to pay cash so I can tip the workers. But I do use card most of the time as it’s just a lot easier.
MW: You can only choose one Easter Egg - what is it?!
JW: I’d 100% go with a Thornton’s egg, they just wipe every other brand out in my opinion.
MW: What are Modern Age Band's plans for Easter and beyond?
JW: Over Easter and the next couple of months we’ve got plenty of gigs planned which we’re waiting to announce, and also another big announcement for a new single release soon. We’ve also got our biggest gig yet at the 02 Academy Liverpool, supporting our good pals Headfeeder and Firehead.
We also intend on delivering much more music as the year goes on, we can’t wait to share what we’ve been perfecting for years with everyone!

Y.O.D here signing on,
If you’re all unaware, there is a reddit user by the tag of u/DropWatcher that compiles a list of hip hop related content that drops approximately every week. While r/hiphopheads has arguably fallen off in terms of actual discussion, these weekly drops are a fantastic way to view new and upcoming talent, or maybe there’s a drop from your favorite artist you missed because it’s not on streaming! These threads are simply a godsend, and this account deserves all the praise in the world.
When I was originally writing this post, it was last week, and the biggest drops of the week were a JID freestyle and a surprise album from The Game. In that span, we've gotten drops from the likes of 21 Savage, Kid Cudi, Boldy James, Bruiser Wolf, and a Lil Nas X single. My ass is slacking, but I can't let procrastination get another dub, so we stay grinding.
Tumblr media
We are so fucking back.
JID - 30 (Freestyle)
Listen, when I hear that Conductor tag, I have to lock the fuck in. Conductor Williams broke through 2023 with some major placements for Drake with a few tracks off of For All The Dogs and it’s ensuing Scary Hours edition (8AM in Charlotte, Stories About My Brother) on top of his regularly scheduled tracks with Westside Gunn (Suicide in Selfridges, The Revenge of Flips Leg). These productions were the most prolific among a busy year that included collaborations with the likes of Rome Streetz, Little Brother, and a full fledged EP with Conway the Machine. I say all this to outline how quickly his demand is rising in comparison to where he was a few years ago, where he described himself in 2016 as “eating shit” for about 2 years in this video regarding his music placements. Now he’s here working with Christo (An underrated producer in his own part) and Tane Runo to lay beats down for JID, a superstar further asserting his prowess with this freestyle.
For those not yet aware of JID, I'm sorry to say you're lying. A top 5 Billboard 100 hit in Enemy with Imagine Dragons (derogatory) and his critically acclaimed "The Forever Story" highlight his ever growing career, and if this single is anything to go by, his momentum isn't stopping anytime soon. His braggadocios bars aren't anything particularly special for the Atlanta native, but he still sounds as hungry as ever, especially towards the latter half of the track. He's set the stage for a huge year with an upcoming feature on Lyrical Lemonade's ALL IS YELLOW compilation album (dropping Jan. 26th) and Forever & A Day, an album previously teased on his Instagram Live. While he states in this live that the album would drop "coming fall time," this live was made at the end of August of last year. Whether it will drop remains to be seen, but for now, we can enjoy him talking his shit over this funky, bass-laden beat.
The Game & Big Hit - Paisley Dreams
This highlight is a little different, as I don't necessarily think this is a great project for either artist. I showcase this project more so to put eyes on Big-Hit, the previously incarcerated father of producer Hit-Boy, who's fresh off a 6 album run with Nas, my personal pick for the greatest rapper of all time. The King's Disease and Magic trilogies are some of the best work Nas has put out in his 34-year long career, largely due to the variety of beats Hit-Boy put him on. Without diverting too much from my main objective here, I wanted to highlight the insane work ethic of the 36-year old California native who managed to produce, among other projects:
The final installments of the Magic trilogy with Magic 2 and Magic 3
Two solo albums, one that features his father heavily
A few singles for artists like Benny the Butcher and Rapsody
The one I wanted to draw more eyes on, however, is his work with Big-Hit on his debut solo project, The Truth Is In My Eyes. With respect to Paisley Dreams, TTIIME (get used to nonsensical acronyms) is a much better showcase for Big-Hit, who still sounds quite nice for being in prison for 30 years. He clearly didn't stop writing even in prison, and he's able to hang in with a cast of solid features and guest producers (Snoop Dogg, Benny the Butcher, The Alchemist). In comparison to Paisley Dreams, Big-Hit is content leaning into an aggressive delivery, trading lyrical depth to become an energetic foil to The Game. The Game can still pack a few punches with his lines, "I keep a blower, Nintendo cartridge" is the only instance I've heard someone spit this bar. Considering this tape was supposedly conceived in an entire night, it's an impressive flex for all artists involved.
Da Flyy Hooligan & Wun Two - Nocturnal Hooli Vol. 1
A small, yet grimy EP from two artists I was either barely or not familiar with at all. You may recognize Wun Two from their collaboration tape with Conway the Machine last year, a small addition to an extensive list of drops from the Buffalo native. I certainly didn't recognize Da Flyy Hooligan, however, and I have to apologize for not being familiar with your game. He's actually had a few tracks with Griselda affiliates on some previous tracks of his, including Keisha Plum, Camouflage Monk, and the Flygod himself. You can give them a listen on his tape Hooli Hansen -0 Da Mixxxtape. I don't particularly fuck with the U.K's rap talent, but Hooli (can I call him that?) showcases his storytelling abilities specifically on the tracks Lifechecc and Exzhibit. Combined with Wun Two's signature haunting production, which I can only describe as lo-fi Griseldacore, it all comes together for a neat little project. If you're a fan of any Griselda adjacent projects, this is definitely worth your time.
Nicholas Craven & Boldy James - Penalty of Leadership
Ever since I discovered the fantastic Manger on McNichols late last year, I've been craving for Boldy James to drop, especially after a relatively quiet 2023 by his standards. It's entirely understandable, however, as he was still quite fresh from a car crash that required extensive neck surgery. Three days removed from the anniversary of that car crash, he dropped his second collaboration album with Nicholas Craven, who stated he was recording his verses as early as 5 days after being discharged from the hospital. Needless to say, his work ethic is fucking inhuman, and he's still spitting some of his slickest bars to date over Craven's signature drumless loops.
Browsing a few music sites, you might find a little criticism for the simplistic loops that Craven seems comfortable sticking with, but I've always enjoyed the unique samples he seems to dig up. Jack Frost is probably my favorite example of this, as it puts Boldy over an upbeat, 70's sounding beat that emphasizes the strings and vocals to craft a catchy track, setting up the album well for what's to come. Boldy himself sounds a little deeper then previous efforts, but it's easy enough to attribute that to his injury and growing age (he's 41 what the fuck!!!). It doesn't affect his actual rapping abilities in the slightest, however, and he still maintains a smooth flow across the project while spitting about his daughter getting good grades in the middle of a coke rap track. Favorites off this album have to be Straight As, Evil Genius, All My Tokens (that guitar fucking hits), No Pun Intended, and the aforementioned Jack Frost. A worthwhile project from both artists.
Lil Nas X - J CHRIST
Every day Lil Nas X succeeds is a day we collectively continue to win as a people. He literally recreated Jesus crossing up the devil, what more could you want in a music video?!
Tumblr media
Dave East could never.
In all seriousness though, I'm not crazy about the track. It's a fine comeback track, but the HUMBLE piano doesn't do it for me, and I'd like to see LNX pop off with a different soundscape every once in awhile. It's not my favorite hook either, and it's not the most lyrically verbose track, but it's a catchy single, who am I to expect a masterpiece? Hoping an album announcement is on the way, Montero was a great project and I'd love to see what else he has in store!
I'll post tomorrow about 21 Savage, Bruiser Wolf, and Kid Cudi after I digest their projects more, because I admittedly only had 2 Bad on repeat this entire weekend. Sorry to say, but song of the fucking century. Bruiser Wolf on top. Your favorite could never. GGs to everyone for trying.

WORK DESCRIPTION:
idil presents an interactive installation in the form of a tent that allows for the visitors to engage with it as they desire. Departing from the understanding of a carrier bag when it comes to narrative structures and storytelling (Le Guin), the artist invites you to take part in a collective effort to unpack individual experiences upon the tent, whether by adding new elements or subtracting existing parts throughout the exhibition.
This tent, the support for which is assembled using emptied food containers from Turkish restaurants, represents a safe haven in times of life’s uncertainties, heavy storms, and especially in regards to migratory movements. While acknowledging a sacred space for our true selves with all that they carry within, it simultaneously unravels safety’s ever-changing, non-static, multifaceted, temporal nature.
The act of constructing and modifying the tent together is a testament to the power of communities, personal journeys, diverse narratives and of the resilience needed in a world that often pushes us to move on. Conversely, in also inviting to deconstruct the tent spread over time, idil underlines the impermanence of stories and places, as a way to hold agency upon transforming and letting go structures that no longer serve us. As a way to reach what holds a chance at being ephemeral.
The tent bears an embodiment for our intimate narratives, as much as for the collective wisdom joining us in our endeavor, where and however it may be.
Bmccrat Bailey McCarty Hello, I am bailey! My music is generally emo folk, folk punk and anything that a sweet mandolin lick might accompany.
Vera Vishnevaya aka furrr is a Yerevan-based experimental musician, filmmaker, media and sound artist, curator, and a video stream host at s0r. In her solo musical output and dj-selections, Vera combines dense soundscaping with offbeat rhythms. As an artist, her work deals with collective memory and trauma, taking the form of minimalistic yet elaborate sound installations. Lately, Vera’s been actively researching local underground scenes, putting out impressive line-ups for events and festivals, as well as showcasing the talents via the video platform s0r.
Kay Khachatryan aka n y s t a g m u s is a sound artist, relentless experimenter, and an explorer of obscure sonic phenomena from Yerevan, known for using field recordings and self-built devices to capture and manipulate sounds. His work focuses on preserving the authenticity of street and acoustic noises, while exploring the timbre and psychological aspects of sound. A veteran of Yerevan's underground, Kay has been prolific in a wide range of underground genres — from raw punk-rock and metal to futuristic deconstruction of club music.
When working together, Vera and Kay deliver intuitive original performances using both acoustic and electronic instruments, showcasing their atmosphere- and rhythm-building skills. Always mindful of the space and occasion, the duo’s set can change from a deep drone session to a barrage of experimental bangers — and everything in between.
