💜 "What is it About You?" 💜

💜 I've been working on this comic for a little while now, and I finally finished it up this morning!

💜 I started shipping Ramjourn after seeing these two pieces ("Early Mornings" comic, "On the Lookout" piece) by @c1emtyne!

💜 Honestly, I think this ship is really cute and works in my Casual Overwatch AU, so I decided to draw this! (I literally pasted a picture of Sojourn's railgun into my drawing and drew over it to draw that gun because there was no way in fuck I'd try drawing that freehand.)

💜 There's just something about their dynamic, of the idea of Ram being entranced by the pure determination, strength, and bravery Sojourn has that makes me feel so weak for them. I think it's the idea of a human being so unlike what Ram thinks a human is that it makes him realize how... beautiful they can be.

I'm currently unmotivated to write anything long and especially after the devs did us so dirty for the PVE announcement so here are some headcanons, imagines- whatever you want to call this to comfort me from the fact we're not getting the PVE we were promised 4 years ago

Overwatch crews

Slumber party whenever a mission is accomplished. Don't matter if everyone's weary as hell, with Lena and Hana running around you are sure to get yourself a slumber party every month. If said mission isn't a success though, it's more of  a chill hangout with the members of the team Hana, Satya and Angela will bring your ass to a shopping spree. Whether you like it or not so be prepared because with them, you're gonna spend the whole day out there. Honestly though, if you don't like it Lena, Fareeha and Brigitte are by the arcades or the sport terrain near the shopping alley. So whenever you feel like it, you can go there to play with them There’s another tradition going around, twice a month, a member of the team cooks for the rest of the crew. It started with Mei, Aleksandra and you talking about your culture’s food. Mei offered to cook for you two to taste Chinese cuisine which you gladly accepted. In return, you two would also cook your culture’s food. With time passing by, other members joined the tradition and now, Echo chooses who would cook for this month’s tasting food session It turned into a competition when Lena decided to vote for the best month’s food Mei, Ana and Brigitte for the moment are on the podium sharing the first place Lena and Hana have zero points. Lena almost burnt the kitchen once. Luckily, you were there to put out the fire She doesn’t have the patience to wait for things to cook For Hana, ever since she entered MEKA, she didn’t have the time to prepare food. The best she could do is boil water and put it on her noodles. Though, ever since she joined Overwatch, she has had a little bit more time so she takes lessons from Mei and Brigitte. Lena watches but never fully join because else, it’ll turn into a mess Every week, Vivian holds a shooting session training. The best shooter of the week gets a gift from her and is exempted from chores for the week Ana has been exempted from participating in this shooting session ever since she won five times in a row

Talon crews

Olivia doesn't stop her pranks, so either you decide to team up with her to prank the others or you go against her. If you prank her, she will at least remind you this once a  week. "Amigo/amiga, how could you do this to your best friend in the world?" sighs dramatically while placing an arm on her forehead "Can you believe this? My best friend, betraying me..." Or "oh no, the betrayal. Who could have foreseen  such an event?" Amelie is more often than not the victim of Olivia's pranks. It's gotten so bad one time Olivia and you couldn't set a foot near the base or she would snipe you from afar She's "kind" Enough to not use real bullets but let's say you had bruises for the following weeks Moira is a target you two don't prank because you've been under her wrath and let's just say, it's not pleasant at all Olivia does try to get all of you to enjoy some vacation time. She does separate Amelie and  Moira, because she knows Amelie is showing more and more emotions and she doesn't want her to return to that cold emotionless assassin Talon turned her into. So for her sake, she keeps Moira away from her When Olivia, Amelie and yourself are out for a mission or a vacation, Amelie will make sure to make at least one comment on the food. She grew up with the finest food so she knows what good food is or not. You once bought her a baguette from a supermarket, she did not appreciate it. She could have stopped if not for  Olivia's intervention "It's just a baguette, how bad can it be?" And that's how you all three didn't get any sleep because of Amelie's monologue on baguette Olivia is a lot more laid back so she takes you sightseeing and if she trusts you enough, she takes you to her hometown. She even lets you meet up with Baptiste.

Kiriko

Kiriko is dragging your ass across the city and showing you the finest spots If you're dating, it's one of your monthly dates to walk around the city and discover new paths or stands/shops. Even if she knows her city like the back of her hand, she's still pleased you're enjoying showing her shops you like She also practices her kunai throwing with you. It’s a lot of fun for her to see you mess up so many times. Although, you get closer to the target with each training session and she holds great pride in seeing your progress She trusts you enough after some time spent together, as well as some missions done together, to show you the group in which she belongs: The Yōkai You spend some fun times with them and seeing as they all have some masks, you decided to craft one for Kiriko. Of course, it’s a fox one. Kiriko loves it so much she doesn’t wear it, in fear she breaks it but she places it in her apartment.

Junker Queen

Odessa doesn't get out of Junkertown a lot, if not at all since she got her Junker Queen title. So if you're travelling fairly often, you give her pictures of your travels. "Oi! You should take me out here, sounds lots of fun!" "I tried, you say you were too busy ruling things around here." "Ey, doesn't mean I can't get to travel from time to time with me partner." Every time you come back from your travels, whether it is for business or for yourself, you always tell how you trip went down. Of course, with pictures to accompany your story. Odessa finds it easier to follow if she has pictures in front of her

Ashe

Liz loves to experiment with her outfits, if you have any good idea she’s going to bring it to life. If one of your ideas doesn’t please her, she’s going to give you interesting feedback. She is a firm believer in constructive criticism She often asks BOB to watch over you when she’s gone for a heist but sometimes, it does seem like you’re the babysitter You teach BOB about some customs he might not have been aware of. It’s a lot of fun watching him learn new things

🪨Venture (OW II) x (gn) reader ⛏️

(First Kiss Edition!)

(I thought this song was perfect for this, I remember watching this in the movie theaters way back when, loved it and still do. The first time I saw a representation of some of my culture on that scale, such an underrated movie.)

- In any situation you guys are in, working together or having two different jobs? I don’t think it’d be a surprise when I say the first kiss happens very early into the relationship and they’re the one to initiate it.

- No coaxing or dancing around the subject, you’re getting kissed like three days into the relationship tops.

- If you guys work for Overwatch together, and y’all won a particularly rough mission after going back and forth with the enemy, emotions are high as the celebration of the triumph proceeds.

- It happens so suddenly, like you’re next to Venture, happy as a clam after putting your all into your fighting. Then, out of nowhere, you’re getting grabbed and pulled into a sudden and passionate kiss that leaves you stunned and flushed, silent as a church mouse when they pull away.

- You know that one scene in ‘Who Framed Roger Rabbit’ Where Roger kisses Detective Valiant as if his life depended on it? It’s along the lines of something like that.

- You probably said something like, “I could kiss you right now!” After they saved you from getting pulverized and in their mind they went “Bet”.

- Trust me, they’re also kind of surprised that they actually did it—

- Time freezes for a moment as y’all kissed cause the team to go silent before an uproar from the particularly positive teammates— Causing even more cheering, especially if you have someone like Reinhardt on the team, he’d hype you guys up so much.

- That or if you guys are archeologists or simply have different jobs from one another it’s more private and Sloane can try to convince you that it was on purpose. But in Overwatch? Fuck no lol.

- The whole roster was like 80% sure you guys were a thing, but that went up 1000% when Sloane kissed you as if they needed it to breathe.

- Spreads like wildfire and by the end of the day everyone knows you guys are a couple, and a rather cute one on top of that.

- At least you guys don’t have to tell everyone that you’re a thing now.

- It makes Venture a little sad. They were planning something big to announce it cause they felt like it needed to be as special as they think your guys’s relationship is. They were biting back the urge to brag about it for 72 hours (the longest time they’ve ever kept something like that to themselves besides their feelings before you guys were a thing), all for naught.

- Reassure them it isn't a big deal and that if they look at it from a different perspective, the first kiss was a great way of doing it.

- They’ll spring back up when you say that, saying something like “Oh I planned to do it like that anyways!”

- You know, like a liar.

- Besides that little hiccup, it was a great first kiss, they wouldn't have it any other way.

- As one might expect, everyone has different views on the matter, with the positive ones that are like “Aweee look at them go!” And think it’s cute: (Ana, D.Va, Junkrat; a mix between neutral but more positive nonetheless, Kiriko, Lucio, Lifeweaver, Illari, Mei, Mercy, Reinhardt, Sigma; same as Junkrat)

- Neutral, like, “Oh, cool, congrats Ig”: (Brigitte; a bit more positive but still neutral, Baptiste, Bastion, Cassidy, Echo, Genji, Hanzo, Junker Queen, Orisa, Symmetra, Torbjorn, Solider 76, Roadhog, Sombra, Sojourn, Winston, Zarya, and Zenyatta: same as Brigitte but a bit more happy)

- Then the negative, the “I don’t need to know about about that you keep that to yourself”: (Ashe, Doomfist, Moira; sassy about it, Mauga; He’s like an annoying older brother that is constantly trying to embarrass their younger sibling— That sibling rivalry between him and Venture is wildddd, Reaper, Ramattra; a bit more neutral, Wrecking Ball; Blunt and mean about it too lmao, Widowmaker; graduated with her master’s degree in the art of being a hater).

Unrequited Love (Pt. 2) | Mercy X Genji X Reader

It's been years... probably around 6 years since you up and left Overwatch. You watched on the news how the organization fell apart after Sojourn testified against them in court and that was the main downfall. You missed everyone. You left without a trace; no one could find you. Did you like it that way...? Maybe, you weren't quite sure how to feel. Your heart would hurt every now and then when you thought about your old friends and how you couldn't ask them if they were okay. Contact with any former Overwatch agent would get you in trouble...

After all you were in Talon now.

"You in your head again?" Sombra asked coming out of her stealth ability.

"Just thinking." You would respond shortly.

"Boss wants us to meet. You in?"

"Yeah." You replied. Letting out a loud sigh and picking up your weapon, you turned around to face Sombra. She offered a slight smirk and turned on her heels to presumably alert other Talon agents of this meeting.

_-Time Skip-_

Mission Brief: Talon agents are tasked with landing in Circuit Royal. Escort the payload to the end, by any means.

"I see that someone couldn't be bothered to write more than they could read." Moira scoffed while rolling her eyes at the mission brief. You could agree, it was quite short but Doomfist was never the type to share more information than he wanted his agents to know. You and your teammates, Moira, Sombra, Reaper, and Sigma, sat in your seats within the ship.

"What did you expect? He couldn't have even come on this mission." Reaper shook his head.

"I expect that with a leader role there should be more direction." Moira threw the mission brief hologram projector to the side. "Ugh, get on with it and get us to the place." She reclined in her chair shutting her eyes. Sombra rolled her eyes and sat in the pilot's chair booting up the ship's system.

You looked out the window. It was a short flight from Talon's base, Italy to Circuit Royal, Monaco. As time went by, you had a strange gut feeling that something wrong was coming. Of course, if you had voiced your opinion to your teammates they would have brushed you off and calling you annoying. So, it was best to just keep it to yourself. Talon was nothing like Overwatch. There was no friendships or someone to confide in. No happy moments or warmth to be felt. Was this the feeling of loneliness? It couldn't be, you've felt loneliness even when you were a part of Overwatch. You felt the loneliness when Genji would talk about that damn doctor to you for hours. How stupid was he to never see your feeli- You shook your head frantically. You shouldn't think about him, but he was the reason why you left Overwatch in the first place...

After landing, your group finds the precious payload that was assigned for you all to escort. Everything was going smoothly until you heard heavy footsteps around the corner.

"Looks like we have company." Sombra smirked while cloaking herself in her stealth form, running into a building to scope out the approaching enemies,

"Agents. We've detected a threat to our objective. Get rid of them." One of talon's agents back at base radioed to the group through the comms.

"Oh but what if they are friendly?" Sigma asked, not even touching his communicator piece for the Talon agent to hear him. Moira punched Sigma in the shoulder and told him to focus. He looked sad but did as what he was told, positioning him in front of the payload and the team. The footsteps were growing louder as the team slowly inched forward with the moving payload.

Then...

You hear a metal mechanism deposit something, then green shurikens are headed straight at your team, everyone dodges and they stick to the wall right next to you. You snap your head to the shurikens. 'It can't be...' You thought. There they were. Your old team... Genji, Reinhardt, Cassidy, even your old teammate Baptiste, and ...Of course Mercy. Talon quickly recovered from the shuriken distraction as Overwatch slowly closed the gap and stood their ground. Reinhardt spoke up,

"Hold fast, do not let them through!" His loud voice sent shivers down your spine. It hit you with nostalgia just from all your previous missions with him.

"An old man like you should have retired long ago." Reaper snarked while blowing all his shotgun ammo into Rein's shield. Everyone joined in on the fight to break the shield. You couldn't help yourself, you new that the real target was Mercy. No matter what, you needed her to be dead. She would be the reason this fight would be drawn out. You raised your weapon and took aim at the angel. You just needed one shot to take her down. Before you could even make your move. He jumped up and deflected anything headed towards Mercy's way.

"Damn it." You cursed under your breath. Of course he would be protecting her, you thought.

"(Name)..." Genji landed on his two feet. You met his gaze. It was jus the two of you, it seemed like the distant battle wasn't even there. Everything went quiet, you were so focused on Genji and he was with you. "I never thought I'd see you again. This is where you were all this time?" He took a step forward, but you readied your weapon. You warned him to not take another step towards you. "(Name)-chan. We don't have to do this. Why must you fight along with Talon? Come back and join Overwa-"

"Shut it, Shimada." You barked. "You'll never know how you and the rest of Overwatch made me feel." He shot you a confused look. To him, it seemed like everything was fine. You ran away 6 years ago, but he couldn't piece together why you did. For all he knew, he thought you were tired of the constant war against Omnics. "God, all this time and you still haven't realized why I left, Shimada? You're more of an idiot than I remember."

"...Is this the path that you've chosen?" Genji slowly got into his fighting stance.

"I wouldn't have if you had just opened your eyes... Genji, I never wanted to be just a teammate or just a friend. It was so obvious that I liked you, or at least I thought I liked you. But, you were too blinded by your beloved angel. You couldn't have seen anything. You did this to me, Genji. All those times you told me about your crush, Ziegler. Think about all the times I felt alone and disappointed because you liked her." You sighed. A grim smile grew on your face. "That's why I need to do this." You finished while quickly aiming up at the medic. Genji ran to stop you but before he could, it was too late.

It took one shot. One shot to take her out. Her dead body falling down to the ground. The Overwatch team was stunned. They did not anticipate for one of their healers to go down so soon. Genji ran to Mercy's lifeless body. They were all distracted so this gave leverage to Talon. They broke Rein's shield.

"We have to leave!" Baptiste shouted to the Overwatch team. You were not going to let them get away with her body. You knew better than to let them take her body. They might have mastered the art of resurrection outside of Ziegler's knowledge. You and Reaper teamed up to assault those who surrounded the body. Without cover, they wouldn't be able to drag her body with them. Rein took most of the bullets while Baptiste pumped him with healing, trying not to let another teammate go down. Cassidy had to drag Genji off of Ziegler's body.

"Genji, C'mon we gotta go!"

"NO!" Genji shouted while desperately to reach towards Ziegler's body.

"I'm sorry, Genji." Cassidy took out his illegal old stun powder so that Genji would stop resisting. The Overwatch team retracted from the fight and disappeared in the distance.

"Nicely done." Reaper praised you. The two of you looked at the cold corpse on the ground that the two of you had secured. "Should have been done sooner." He glared at the body on the ground. Reaper then picked up the corpse and threw it on the moving Payload.

"All those antics about ethics... Maybe I could put her back together" Moira had an evil smirk on her face while she pet Mercy's head.

"Do whatever you please." You rolled your eyes. You walked a bit in front of the group. This was it. You got the revenge that you so wanted. Did this make you happy? Or was this the beginning of the end?

La Belle Dame sans Merci is a ballad written by the English poet John Keats. It exists in two versions, with minor differences between them. The original was written by Keats in 1819. He used the title of a 15th century poem by Alain Chartier, though the plots of the two poems are different. The poem is considered an English classic, stereotypical to other poems of John Keats, a Romantic poet. It avoids simplicity of interpretation despite simplicity of structure. At only a short twelve stanzas, of only four lines each, with a simple ABCB rhyme scheme, the poem is nonetheless full of enigmas, and has been the subject of numerous interpretations.

Keats' poem describes the condition of an unnamed knight who has encountered a mysterious woman who is said to be "a faery's child." It opens with a description of the knight in a barren landscape, "haggard" and "palely loitering". He tells the reader how he met a mysterious but very fair lady whose "eyes were wild." The damsel told the knight that she "loved him true" and took him to her "elfin grot," but upon arriving there, she "wept, and sigh'd full sore." Having realized something that the knight does not yet understand, the mysterious maiden sets the knight to sleep. The knight has a vision of "pale kings and princes," who cry, "La Belle Dame sans Merci [the beautiful, pitiless damsel] hath thee in thrall!" He awakes to find himself on the same "cold hill's side" on which he continues to wait while "palely loitering."

"La Belle Dame sans Merci" was a popular subject for the Pre-Raphaelite painters. It was depicted by Sir Frank Dicksee, Frank Cadogan Cowper, John William Waterhouse, Arthur Hughes, Walter Crane, and Henry Maynell Rheam. It was also satirized in the December 1, 1920 edition of Punch magazine.

ichika: sigma. im sorry this boy plays tank and he is a sigma main and prob would be since the day he got released (its the space motif okay.)

saki: hm... im gonna get mauled for this but shes a symm main. she dapples in a bit of brig every now and again but she likes symms turrets a lot

honami: she mains mercy but she also plays a lot of like... soldier i feel. idk but shes def a mercy main

shiho: (dps) moira. im so so sorry he is a dps moira by default

minori: kiriko main she loves kiriko with her entire soul

haruka: do i even need to think (mei. she mains mei purely for the penguin skin.)

airi: ramattra main. im not sorry for saying this she mains ramattra

mafuyu: stealing mercy main mafuyu who just randomly pockets kanade. never revs mizuki no matter how much they scream into the mic. also never heals them out of mecha

ena: (if you couldnt tell, all the niigo ones are stolen because theyre so incredibly correct) born to main pharah forced to play echo. (she gets insane 4 kill reaper ults)

mizuki: born and bred d.va main. theyre probably top500 with purely d.va and they spam ";)" after getting an amazing bomb play
