as i’m sure everyone could tell, i’m a huge nerd who likes analyzing media and one criticism i ways remember sticking out is like “is your female character suffering in a way that is attractive to men” ie that scene in the queen’s gambit where she’s smoking and drinking and having a breakdown but she did her makeup and hair and is wearing a sexy nightgown and it was something i think about in general, bc it is part of a larger conversation of the way women are written as fantasies for men and not as fantasies for the women they ostensibly represent (and it’s been on my mind bc i’m rereading asoiaf & there’s an excellent scene where brienne is crying and feels like a failure and thinks about if jaime would find her beautiful now and would want to rescue her, and it’s a very Excellent dissection of this concept done in the PoV of, imo, one of the best written female characters in literature period) (everyone should read asoiaf through at least once it really is That Good)
but also i spent an embarassing amount of time like hysterically crying while wearing underwear, an oversized tank, and pink nipple pasties while getting high af so CLEARLY, sometimes, u r just accidentally sexy while having a breakdown lmao. altho i was also shoveling copious oatmeal into my face while this was happening, which is decidedly unsexy bc there’s no real way to sexily eat gruel so that’s a point for feminism, actually.
#eating over sweetened farina in the dark on your couch while wearing lingerie as praxis#this is not a cry for help i just need everyone to know i like to analyze my own decisions like i’m a fictional character. it is one of my#more healthy coping mechanisms to be honest. aksjsjjs. anyways would love a one handed ken doll looking beast a la batb archetype#soiled knight kingslaying sister fucking mother fucker to slap someone upside the mouth for calling me ugly & then walk into a trap no#questions asked because i asked him to come with me. and then we can fuck at winterfell or whatever. he is not allowed to leave me for his#sister tho that is show only nonsense and i rebuke it.

#lmao shut up haz#and I will! I mostly play management games so minmaxing doesnt really break the game much#If I had more free time I've been wanting to build a factorio AI that can do TAS runs on random seed maps.#I know I'd be a god awful gamedev because I'd only make games that require you to read datasheets and scientific papers to play them#I've wanted to make this farming sim for ages that actually has soil nitrates + microbe + bug mechanics but its far outside my skillset
