Yessss thank you so much for asking about those headcanons! I’ve been wanting to talk about these.

I actually just got another ask about the emergency contact and I’m going to go super in depth for that, so stay tuned!

But why do I think Tommy has a difficult relationship with sex? I’m so, so glad you asked. This is one of my biggest headcanons.

However! Please read with caution. TW: for a form of self h*rm involving sex, self hatred, and internalized homophobia.

Tommy was extremely closeted for most of his life. When he was at the 118, he couldn’t even accept himself. But at some point, he stopped being able to ignore it. For me, this might be when he realized he liked Sal (see my other post).

Now for some people, exploring your sexuality includes a *ahem* wild phase. To me, Tommy had two parts of this phase. The first one was…not great.

Tommy was a self loathing closeted man. He hated himself for being gay. He wanted to be “normal”. So when he stopped being able to ignore it, he thought he could “get it out of his system”. So he went to bars outside of LA (he wasn’t risking bumping into anyone he knew) and hooked up with any man who showed interest. He wasn’t picky. He was just more focused on getting out of this “phase”.

So he hooked up with a lot of men. And he didn’t care about himself at all. In fact, he out right hated himself every time. So it devolved. If something didn’t feel good, Tommy leaned into it because he saw it as punishment. He used sex to punish himself and to hurt himself.

I’m not quite sure about how he pulled himself out of it, but we’ll go with this. My idea is that he had a sexual partner who caught onto what was going on, that Tommy secretly hated something happening but refused to stop on his own. The partner shut down the event and when he called out, gently, Tommy on what was happening, Tommy broke down. The partner held him and listened to his garbled story and talked him through it. Instead of the hookup, they spent that night just talking, with the partner trying to get Tommy to see what was happening and get him out of the slump.

And it didn’t fix it. Tommy continued this pattern for a couple more hookups, but he started to get discontented and uncomfortable. Around this time maybe, the 118 got Bobby Nash and the dynamic started changing. Sal was gone and working with Hen, an openly queer firefighter, started to shift how he looked at himself.

So Tommy stopped the hookups and started working on himself. He couldn’t quite face himself still, but he worked on liking himself outside of his sexuality. He started laying down boundaries when he hooked up. And then he left the 118 and started therapy. He was ready to start over. He was tired of the pain and the self hate and the cycle he’d been stuck in for so long. He wanted what he’d seen others have. He saw Hen with her wife and he wanted a bond like that and he knew it could never be with a woman.

Skip forward all this time and he’s learned to be gentle with himself. He finally loves himself. He has embraced his sexuality. Maybe he’s still friendly with that past partner or maybe they never spoke again, idk. He’s had some relationships but nothing’s really stuck. Then he meets Evan Buckley.

He meets Evan Buckley and he feels the sun for the first time. And Evan is still figuring himself out and Tommy not only really likes him, but also wants to make sure Evan doesn’t make the same mistakes he did.

Does that answer the question? Let me sum it up.

Tommy used sex to punish himself and those were his first real experiences with guys. So even now, in healthier relationships and with better mindsets, he doesn’t do the hookup game anymore and is very shy of having sex too soon. He doesn’t have sex without knowing and trusting the person.

Y’all I have no idea if this made sense, but this is literally the premise of a story in my brain.

I’m a freaking fierce Sterek apologist and most of the time I could bite anyone who tell that Stiles is with anyone else but Derek…BUT SOMETIMES I have this creeping Idea that the Hale pack ( like what should be the Hale pack with everyone alive) is just a big polymorous polycule that’s had everyone,aside of their own couples and trouples, just revolved around Stiles, because he is everyone crush! Well not EVERYBODY is actually romantically attracted to Stiles but at least one person of each polycule is (almost).

Last year of high school students and professors where now quite used to the strange dynamics of a very specific groupe of student.

First it was the two power hetero couples : Lydia and Aiden, the couple looked perfect, like greeks statues and they were fierce and the archetype of high school’s couples.

You also had Erica and Boyd, the two had made talk at first because how Erica bombshel Reyes could be with Vernon Stoic Boyd? But soon enough people had seen that their was something in this couple that made total sense and that they were actually quite a good fit for each other.

Secondly you had the polycules: the « sweet square » , as they been called by Beacon Hills high’s student because it was just all of the cute student of the whole high school,composed of Allison, Kira, Scott and Isaac. Not everyone understood how they fit in the polycule, who was with who? Until they discovered that everyone loved everyone and that it was working perfectly. They were blinding people with the happiness and cuteness radiating from them each time someone saw them all together cuddling.

On the other hand existed the « holy triangle », Jackson, Ethan and Danny. The trouple had Ethan at the center of their romantic relationship (even if it never stop Jackson and Danny to hook up sometimes). The three of then always made girls squeaked when they walk the halls either because they were the sexiest boys or because they were like fanfiction’s materials.

Thirdly you had the two classic (not totally) gay couples: Mason and Corey where the absolutely cutest couple. Always smiling, always sweet with each other. A total cute puppy love. Almost an anomaly in this groupe of weirdos.

Next to them you had the chaotic couple Liam and Theo. Always bickering, always throwing insults to each other or sometimes litteraly fighting with their fist but beware the fool who allow himself to insult one of them, the other would distroy the impudent!

Fourthly you had the free spirits, the free electrons: Malia who still had some difficulties to keep with human ways and who was hooking up with mostly Scott and Parrish, Cora who loved peoples but couldn’t stay with just one person because it was to much for her at this point she was mostly hooking up with Lydia or sometimes Isaac, Hayden was not always here since she had moved from town with her sister she would have this relationship with Liam but everyone knew that she had a boyfriend back home

So everyone in high school or even in Beacon Hills was used to those dynamics but the thing that was difficult to understand was: How does Stiles Stilinski fit into all of this?

It was usual to see Lydia took suddenly Stiles arm and kiss him unashamedly in the middle of the hall, staying the day with him will Aiden was doing his little life with his friends or even gave a friendly pat in Stiles’ back. People who walk through the hall would often cross Erika pulling him into a full mouth kiss, her against the lockers him pull against her. Then she would hold his hand possessively, sometimes Boyd would hold the other hand of the sheriff son other time he would hold Erica’s. During Lacrosse practice Isaac would be stuck against Stiles sometimes holding him from behind his head on his shoulder and kissing softly his cheek while whispering in his ear making him blush. Allison would sometimes kiss him in the corner of his mouth as she walk past him as they went from one class to another (it was more of a platonic love then a real relationship for them) Scott was the puppy who would pass days following his best friend around, Kira would give him hugs and soft kisses on his cheeks because the boy became her bestfriend . Sometimes Jackson could be seen in the boys’ lockers, his forearm near the brunette head Stiles’ back against his own locker both of them kissing in a kind of hungry aggressive way, Danny would flirt with him just to tease him and Ethan would eat alone with Stiles to take some advice on how to handle being in a throuple with two bestfriends. Mason, Corey and Liam were like the three puppies that Stiles protected, it was a kind of mother/son love in their case. If they were in need of advice or just wanted to have someone to confort them they would run straight to him. And when they will do something stupid or dangerous he will just yell or give them the biggest sarcastic answers possible. Stiles was a caring guy yes but he was also the biggest bitchy person in this town. But you could see that Liam had like this monumental crush on Stiles, People in town would saw Theo and Stiles argue violently at the coffee shop and ten minute after that they would make out in the dark alley next said coffee shop, kind of the same love/hate relationship as the one with Jackson but more chaotic because who knew that Jackson Whittemore would be a softie sometimes. Malia would suddenly kiss Stiles in the hall of the school or in town and just walk away like it was just a normal thing to do, Stiles would walk away the same with a « hey Malia », the Stilinski’s neighbor would see her crawl to Stiles’ window every now and then but their relationship is more healthy now. Cora as a Hale would so exactly the same climbing to the window, to have some cuddles party or more sometimes but their relationship was softer than anyone could have thought, it was little hands brushing in the halls, little kiss on the cheeks when they are out. Stiles is litteraly like Catnip for the Hales. Hayden was pretty much in the same relationship with Stiles than Corey and Mason, he was like a bitchy mom and would call her anytime he could to check on her.

But everyone could swear that the eighteenth boy had someone that could be called a boyfriend. A black camaro was often park in frond of the school, with Derek Hale waiting for Stiles. Said young man would run to him to through himself at his neck and kiss him like they where separated for months. And the majority of the time the older one would throw hard threatening looks to anyone coming near his boyfriend , some people could swear that they heard him growl like a big dog.

Slowly one new unexpected couple had appeared in town: Peter Hale and Chris Argent. The two where like fire and ice and still they seem to be madly in love with each other in their strange way.

And when Stiles get to his 25 yo those two familiar faces where add to the pictures. Peter Hale seems to have a deep relationship with his nephew's boyfriend. Yes it was weird for the people outside because really, the four remaining Hale?! The sheriff’s son was really this attractive for them?! They would go to library or debate coffee. They would talk quite happily about things that the mundane couldn’t understand. And the man would walk with his hand on the small of Stiles’ back or arms in arms. Peter would kiss Stiles’ head tenderly. Sometimes Chris Argent was with them. His hand between Stiles' shoulder blades. It was more platonic but the man would throw death glare everytime someone would laugh at the three or them or when someone would bump hard on Stiles in the street.

And everybody whispered questions like: Does the sheriff know about what his son is up to? Do they are a kind of cult and Stiles is the guru? How doeos Stiles can hide to his clearly really possessive boyfriend (cause those hickeys and bite marks on his neck could only be his) the fact that he have relationships with so many people?

One Day as Stiles and the whole pack (the sheriff and Melissa included) where celebrating Stiles' Birthday at the Jungle, because where this many people could fit in this town exept for this club, plus Danny knew the boss well, a foolish young man came to dance with Stiles. His body against the his back, touching his hips and trying to hit on him, he thought that this pretty boy belong to a lot of people so why not him. And that's when all of Beacon Hills’ citizens would know that Derek knew quite well that his mate had relationship with other pack’s members. But he didn’t mind as soon as some rules where followed. And this guy didn't seemed to listen when Stiles tried to push him off and didn't follow the rule one : Be a pack member. The Alpha werewolf leaped to them and pushed the guy away like he weight nothing, snarling and growling at him as he pulled Stiles against him. Soon all the others would come to protect their pack mom, each of them brushing against Stiles back or arms to get rid of the stranger's smell on him. Stiles easily made them calm down. Melissa, Noah and Chris would look at this display of possessiveness with shaking heads and laughs.

And people learned since this: Stiles Stilinski was not just a horny guy who would make out with anybody in the back of his boyfriend. He was in a real poliamourous dynamic (And maybe a cult, really they where all living in the Hale house for a few years now, totally a cult).

This night, after the party Derek would write on his laptop the rules that people had to follow if they wanted to apply for a place in the policul.

5) Scenario #1 (this shit is super long I'm sorry bros)

Bug had been looking for Chester round the house for like 15 minutes, yet they couldn't find him. That was until they saw him coming out of the room his younger sisters were staying in.

He was clearly exhausted, his pasture was slouched, his eyes half-closed...he looked as though he was about to fall asleep right there. They asked why he looked like shit, he chuckled

"Daisy's sick, she couldn't sleep, couldn't eat, just kept throwing up- been watching her since like 9 last night and only now has she gone for a nap"

He dragged himself through to the living room then threw himself onto the floor beside the couch. He sat on the floor, his back resting against the couch as he sighed out of relief, finally free for a couple of minutes. Bug went and sat on the opposite side of the couch.

Bug thought about all the times Chez had hugged them, not even just them, all the Bugs! He was always offering a hug, patting them on the back, poking them, etc...and all of it was just a big show of how much he trusted/ cared abt them

stuff that made me go 👀 from ep1

Well, gore-y horror from between 70s-90s w queer subtext is one of my most favorite genres ever, so obviously this show is right up my alley. Just the idea of Thai folk horror and 90s slasher fusion w a bunch of tense gay situationships sprinkled on top sounds like a dream to me <3

so OFC I enjoyed the first episode, the gore, haunting past, creepy mask and dick biting and all & now i'm ready to theorize

here are some little details that got my attention and some thoughts that were thunk by me:::::

After Por's (Us) classic setting-the-up-story horror tale gets called out as teasing from White (Fuaiz), Por and Top (Jet) turn the accusation back to his boyfriend Tee (JJay), calling him the best at tricking the younger ones/newcomers to the group.

Based on the trailers, it's safe to assume that in the past, it was Non (Barcode) who was the gullible young one and he was bullied (among other things that will happen to him) even after group decided to utilize him for the short film. Compared to loudmouths Por and Top, Tee seems more on the quiet and stoic side (albeit w anger issues) so this is definitely a clue. Trailers made me think Por was the main terrorizer of Non but maybe Tee played a bigger role.

If Non is the whatever the hell that is dwelling the forest, then why did he cop a feel from Tee while him and White were busy being the couple who chooses the worst time and place to get nasty in a horror? Is it a payback for the tricking the young ones Tee was so good at?

If this isn't a translation mistake, Jin (Copper) calls the movie "his" even though the credits says otherwise.

While Jin says that he made the film for a contest he was in, it's Por who is credited as the Writer/Director/DoP. In fact, Jin's name is only under the cast list, along w Tee, Top and Fluke (Bump).

And maybe even MORE IMPORTANTLY, although we clearly saw him in the movie, taking off the mask just before Por shuts of the laptop & later Top admits he wrote the story, Non's name is nowhere to be seen in the credits. Not only he "disappeared", they also made it seem like he wasn't there in the first place. Uhmm, that's a cunty move to do to an old "friend"...

That really suspicious and ambiguous conversation between Tee and Por.

They might be talking about Non BUT Tee specifically says he doesn't want HIM, which i'm assuming to be White, to get involved and find out more. Por's face drops at first but then he brushes it off w saying it wouldn't matter even if he did because its not relevant anymore.

There are also other new guys who are oblivious to their past but it's White who is worrying Tee. Along w Por's reaction and him constantly teasing their relationship, I think this might be a sign that Tee and Por might have some kind of history??? I am hoping that as messy gay entangled relationships on top of the supernatural horrors would be even more fun!!!!!!!!!

Here's the thing: this wasn't even a set up for Jin or Tee to get jealous or anyone to get thoughts because they weren't there to see it. It just happened so quickly and then Phi turned back his attention to Jin to get scolded (as he should) BUT i was stuck on it because what was the reason????????????? Why did White seemed lost in thought over it?

Jin might be jealous of Tan (Mio) for some fucking reason?

Jin gives Phi half a blowjob, BITES HIS DICK (best moment of the ep), chews him out (verbally) and then suggests Tan in his place. Well, Tan and Phi do seem close and Tan knows about their failed FWB. Still, it's interesting that Jin singled out Tan and thinks they had a similar thing, even though Phi assures him that isn't the case.

Hello! o/ thank you and good followup because austin is my crutch so i appreciate making me take it head on. (feel free to challenge my theories it helps me build them! :] ) As for austins filter being broken, I think the theory is good but incomplete. Austin does have a filter and has involvement, but it clearly works differently. in fact most of the 'filter items' have their own rules that they go by, its not a uniform model.

and a bit of this has to do with just how the show works sneegs hat isn't wired into his skull because he takes it off a couple times during the show or moves it around charlie has some kind of base program where he can run multiple items at once since during episode 2 he was wearing the glasses and the headphones and there are theories that details like this such as placement, hardware, etc have an effect on the items' limitations. for example, sneeg doesn't have surgically implanted hardware so he can't run two items like Charlie can and when they try, it shorts out and we get the ep 2 hat scene. or that other cast members couldn't be 'The Hero' since ranboos mask is necessary and capable of more complex sequences. that being said I've seen people speculate that Austins item is his jacket, which is entirely possible but it makes it confusing when he actually takes it off in the dressing room. so I'm going to pivot to the theory that he doesn't have a formal item. "so he doesn't have a filter?" not what I said. During the beginning of ep 2 before sneeg gets soft rebooted he doesn't actually have a filter item either and is still very much in character, he doesn't even recognize ranboo, we have hard proof that this is possible. and we know Austin is filtered/playing a character just by how he's acting in general. Austin as a showfall media victim has no reason to lie about having a wife and several children. why wouldn't he have a formal item? maybe because he was originally written to get double-tapped in Nikki's place in scene 1. Its very up for interpretation still but I believe a lot of this stems from the way that Austin is compared. Specifically how he gets compared to ranboo and sneeg when Ethan dies. i would like to counterpoint this with the way that Austins character is built for the episode. desperate, afraid, ......straight. but at the same time, he stalls to catwalk in the closet, mouthes off to puzzler questioning him having children, and is also very gay. so I think there might be some difference in writing. So yes, Austin is the only one who has a normal and more aware response to Ethan's death. Austin is also the only one there that isn't 3 layers deep in meta.

during this moment Austin is the only one freaking out but consider the company. ranboo is an NPC at this point. he got factory reset and basically has a cap over free thought, right now the only thing in his brain is the objective to go through the show. Austin is still in his role of character trying to escape this actual saw trap he's stuck in, his panic is as warranted in character as it is out so he panics and when the others don't it freaks him out more. sneeg on the opposite side of the spectrum is knee-deep in lethargy. sneeg is actually the one seeing everything how it is and can't respond to any of it so he doesn't care about anything anymore. after his soft reboot sneeg can still see but he's confined to the roll, I want to make a separate sneeg post because he's actually the one I think people view Austin as. so yeah I think that Austin has something going on but I think it's a step to the left of the current theories. sneeg is where the real awareness is feel free to ask me for any clarification on this since I jumped around a lot or if you have other questions/theories because this is epic :D -Tophat

All morning Arthur avoided him by moving swiftly along to another car when he saw the dark head entering his, and answering Morgana’s Where the hell are you texts with, Sorry, you must have just missed me till she gave up even sending them. 

Then when everyone disembarked at the village, he hurried back to their room, and found Merlin sat on the scene of the crime. He froze. Merlin was fiddling the phone in his hand all round, but looking up steadily at him, with unrelenting eye contact. “Hey.”

“Hey.” Arthur stuck his hands in his pockets. “I just came back for a shower.”

“Yeah, I figured. That’s why I’m here. Thought you might not get off the train with everyone else, considering the fact that I haven’t seen you all morning even though we share a room and we’re on a train with very limited hiding places.”

Arthur shifted from foot to foot. “I wasn’t hiding, I was having a chat with that couple from California.”

“Oh yeah?” Merlin raised an eyebrow. “So you were stationary, in one spot, chatting to this couple, and I missed you every time I went through every car looking for you? That’s interesting.”

Merlin sighed, and pinched the bridge of his nose. “Look. I can ask Gwaine if he’ll switch rooms. I could stay with him, and you with Morgana.”

I don't really see the similarities between Robert and John that a lot of Robert fans do but I'm really confused about the comments saying that they are repeating the Robron storyline. They can't do that because Robert and John's circumstances are completely different. What do people think is going to be the same? We really don't know much yet.

i suppose right now it's mostly based on vibes and knowing these people are not capable of an original thought in any way. I mean just by virtue of going out of their way to make Aaron's next potential love interest a long lost brother of Robert is too far. I mean...what is the reason. You can have a long lost Sugden, but he doesn't need to be romantically connected to Aaron. You can have Aaron date a struggling closed off army vet without him having to be related to his ex husband. There's just no need for it.

It honestly just amuses me that it feels like they're trying so hard and yet both of Aaron's post Robert on screen love interests are just the absolute worst ideas possible.

I mean you have Ben, the guy who he apparently bullied horribly in school for being gay cause...trauma who decided ah hell, I'll just date the man cause he's "changed" even though I will continually make comments about his temper that are absolutely fair and absolutely reasons you should not be dating him.

And now we have a long lost brother of his ex husband who seems to be getting what we thought would be Robert's post prison ptsd story but with army ptsd.

I mean if they'd just stuck him with Ethan after they slept together and Ethan tried to reach out to him, it would have probably been boring and mediocre but it wouldn't be this embarrassing.

It's like they actually have to put in more effort to be this bad than if they just stuck him with a random and let it be lackluster.

But back to the Robert similarities/the repeating Robron's story thing. I think it also comes from what we know about the upcoming story plus bits of filming knowledge. We know John's car is breaking down. We know Danny was filming out on the road. It's not hard to put two and two together and think they might have Aaron come across John and his breakdown. Hence the drawing earlier. And there's just no way that's coincidental that they would potentially be repeating the lay by scene. They're doing it on purpose. They want people to be reminded of Robron. I just have no idea why because we're obviously going to find it inferior. And not just because we're robron fans but because it's all incredibly random and forced with no build up.

I mean I just went back and watched their first kiss scene again. At least Robert and Aaron had known each other for a couple weeks, had been involved in a story. They were clearly kind of into each other. We saw Robert actively make the decision to fake the breakdown and get Aaron out there. I just feel like all of these character actions had actual basis for happening. They were making active choices.

Now it's just going to be silly and manufactured within an inch of its life.

I just have to look at it as a comedy...cause honestly it is.

Forgive the lazy and rough graphic but, Season 2 team ideas?

Should note I made these with the self imposed and probably unnecessary restrictions of having an equal split of former Ferocious Trout and Frogs of Death members.

Splitting up both Wayne & Raj and, to a lesser extent, Millie & Pryia just feels very natural to me. Wayne & Raj were nearly always together so separating them AND making them compete against each other is just a natural source of conflict. Whereas Millie was of course very dependent on Pryia during the first season to make it far so isolating them from each other seems like the natural next step. This would force Millie to try to make new allies and use whatever skills that stuck from Pryia’s training.

Having Bowie/Raj and Emma/Chase on the same team not only creates the contrast of a very healthy couple vs a very toxic one, but also forces interaction between Bowie and Emma after their fallout.

Also for Bowie, there’s drama in him interacting with Caleb, as he would now know that it was Bowie who got him voted out day one. His reaction in the first episode tells me he wouldn’t let that go.

Axel and Scary Girl can kind of work on any team, so I don’t have much to say for them. Though I do think the idea of Axel and Bowie contrasting against each other to be rather funny.

(I know a lot of people want a Lauren-Damien-Pryia thing to happen and I support that, I just think it can happen with not all of them being on the same team)

I’d like to see Julia and MK on the same team again. It was MK who jumpstarted Julia’s whole villain arc and, more notably, it was Julia who got MK eliminated, which she’d definitely not be over. I could definitely see them having a strong rivalry, or a bit of a villainous alliance. Either way I think they should be gay about it.

Speaking of MK being eliminated, I’m imagining her line about “At least [she] didn’t make any friends” to be some sort of foreshadowing. Who’s the character I think has the best shot of being an actual friend to her? That’d be Zee. He’s shown to be able to get along with pretty much anyone. MK typically avoids having any deep interactions with other characters by overloading her conversations with sarcastic insults, and I literally couldn’t imagine Zee actually comprehending that she’s insulting him. Instead, he thinks they’re just having a pleasant conversation. I see them becoming ‘friends’ by Zee just hanging around her a lot and MK eventually getting used to it (and start to enjoy his company, not that she’d admit that).

In contrast, I actually like the idea of there being someone Zee doesn’t like, that being Nichelle. In Taste Buddies there’s that whole exchange with Julia and Zee about how rather than him not wanting to talk about a very disgusting alien movie because it was gross, he didn’t want to talk about it because he felt it was a weak directorial effort. I could imagine this idea of Zee being a bit of a film buff being expanded to him not vibing with Nichelle like he does everyone else because he finds the movies she stars in to be vapid or something along those lines. I easily see this bothering Nichelle since she’s so used to being praised and beloved. (Should note: I saw someone else come up with this concept, but I don’t remember where)

Speaking of Nichelle, something I’d like to see is her being contrasted with Priya, as she’s someone who actually has the skills everyone believed Nichelle to have. Though, I like the idea of despite that, they actually end up bonding, as I could see Priya’s parents making sure she knows a lot about the entertainment industry (both because of Total Drama of course being a show and in case of a TDA like season) and them getting along from there.

I also want to keep Priya and Damien on the same team. Wether it be to develop them romantically or further their friendship, I’d just like to see more of them together. Maybe make up for the lack of ‘knows everything about TD vs knows nothing about TD’ interactions that I’m surprised we didn’t get in the first season. Maybe they could even have a bit of a brains and brawn duo thing going on.

I don’t have too many thoughts on Ripper, I’m kind of imaging him as an early boot this time around. Still, this gives him a chance to interact with characters he hasn’t before. And maybe Priya finds out he was who suggested that Millie cut her raft, and something happens from that? Could be something there.

DC Pride 2022

wee! i don't remember liking this one as much, but we'll see.

the foreword is very sweet, i'm endeared by it. The first story though... not so much.

"Pride's been a party for decades" - Jon Kent

Gay marriage in the United States was legalized in 2015. This story came out only 7 years after same-sex couples were legally recognized nationwide. We have also been actively dealing with anti-lgbtq legislation for a while now. It's some head in the sand bullshit.

I have strong and complicated feelings about this story. First off, I wonder how much say authors get in which character they're in charge of? Could they just not find any queer writers who knew who Jon was? This is probably the worst story I've ever seen from Devin Grayson, it's just so weirdly and blatantly tone deaf. I saw some people critique her portrayal of Damian on a racial basis when this first came out, but honestly I think it could be chalked up to that he was raised by assassins, I don't think it's an immediate racism-red flag if he's characterized a little too violently. He also very quickly shifts gears to telling Jon his dad would be proud of him, and caring about him in his own Damian way. I'm more hung up on how it's... Some of these stories are lighthearted and don't touch on oppression, but this story actively dismisses the idea of oppression. It almost feels sarcastic, a part of me yells that it's mocking Jon's shallow worldview, but that doesn't really make sense. It's weird. Damian is written off as strange and paranoid, and Jon is meant to be the main character, but it's Damian's perspective that I'm able to most relate to it through. This is also just a weird story for Devin Grayson to be writing. She thrives the most in angst/tragedy/drama, not... whatever that was.

Second of all, I can never get past Jon/Jay. Jay seems to be a queer asian character that was introduced by, as far as I'm aware, a white cishet author, and was introduced through a three page school shooting which was used solely as a plot device to make Jon look #badass. Every time Jay comes up, all I can think about is Tom Taylor's hack work and that damn school shooter introduction. Congrats to anyone who can get over that, but I cannot.

i'm too unfamiliar with the characters to properly enjoy it, but i do love the recognition for the absolute gayness that is wrestling.

i do have a soft spot for the queer stories that touch on the complexity of parent-child relationships. hawke's not really hostile but incredibly uncomfortable relationship with ollie hits a specific nerve. a few of the stories in '21 were like that too, where they build onto some specific yet relatable struggles that children and their parents run into. the letter, the metaphors, everything about this one is so sweet. another tear-jerker for me tbh. seeing damian and hawke interact at the end is so cute, and i do kinda wish that the gang from lazarus island could've stuck around and been damian's "ensemble cast" so to speak. ah well. they'll have a groupchat in my heart.

not to be a downer again, but the stories that reference the very real struggles that queer people still face really serve to make the first story feel worse and worse. anyways, god i love alysia. yeah i don't have anything interesting to say, this comic was more action focused which isn't my strong suit, but it's a fun read.

it's nice to see a light-hearted meeting the family scene every once in a while. i'd say this story does a better job than the last one of making me feel for jackson, and gives a bit about his backstory. i don't know how it lines up with the rest of his comics, but it stands alone nicely. it also ventures into feelings of displacement, home, family. i like it.

are noir wlw a thing now. they should be a thing. i think as far as stories that're in direct reference to a different series go, this one manages to not be too confusing when going in blind. the cannibalism could very well be a metaphor, and the story touches on what is pretty specifically a biphobia thing, which is all pretty interesting. im also a sucker for "monochromatic comic gains color at the very end to portray a change for the better" ngl.

they act like ray shunned his bf but like. he gently blocked a kiss and whispered that he didn't want to in front of the team. i get that the message is about internalized shame and all that, but what they call "freak out" i call "gently setting a boundary".

simple, to the point, made me tear up. again.

tim story :/ i like him i swear, he's just been so boring recently. it's simple fluff. there's just none of the insanity or weirdness that made me like tim and bernard in the first place is all.

i absolutely adore the art in this one. are they play fighting to figure out who gets to top? it sounds like they're play fight to see who gets to top. harlivy canon prey roleplay and/or CNC kink? very cute end, if not a bit corny. we now know they're top4top.

both jesse's stories end up feeling more "flash" than "pride", but they're still fun. also holy shit earth-11 dami and jon are SO cute what the hell??? dami w the buns and the sleeveless top and the belt, jon w the headband and the ripped leggings under her shorts, ohhh im so in love. fem klarion is also super cute. i wasnt expecting the masc donnaraven but ill take it.

I'm honestly intrigued by the relationship she had with the Black brothers, especially Regulus. She must have spent quite a bit of time with him, what do you think were her thoughts about him?

Reg's relationship with Bellatrix I always find to be much deeper than Regulus with either Narcissa or Andromeda, but not as close as Sirius and Bellatrix had been before Sirius left. Don't get me wrong, Sirius and Bellatrix were a very different kind of close to that of Regulus and Bellatrix. I imagine she was very much the older sister for him. I think Regulus was fairly impressionable, particularly when it came to Bellatrix. I imagine though he made every choice to join Voldemort of his own volition just as Bellatrix had, it was certainly easier to do so because of her.

I imagine she adored him as she did all her family. I will forever headcanon her soft spots are Narcissa and Sirius but I don't doubt she for one moment loved Andromeda and Regulus any less.

According to the books she's not so much older than him if we're assuming he's only a couple of years younger than Sirius, likely only about 7 years and maybe a little less if its suggested they were at Hogwarts at the same time (which I don't believe they were but Bellatrix and Sirius were) but even then I'm sure he was treated like the little Prince he undoubtedly was.

I think Bellatrix was his confidant too. I headcanon that Regulus was gay (or at least bisexual with a lean towards men) but that he'd do his duty and would've married a pureblood witch to make more pureblood babies and I personally like the idea he told Bellatrix this.

I don't think she spent as much time with him as he wanted to spend with her but yes they spent a lot of time together. I imagine he stuck rather close to her but she was far more outgoing than he ever was.

I imagine him as introverted and Bellatrix as magnetic, not extroverted but somewhere between, mysterious enough but adored by all in their circles. I think he admired her a lot.

However I think their relationship was complicated. I think she missed Sirius and so did he, so they put a lot of that onto each other. I think Bellatrix was never quite satisfied with Regulus because he wasn't enough like his brother and I think Regulus, who saw Bellatrix as very much a better mirror of his estranged brother, was constantly wanting more from Bellatrix. More she perhaps was not always willing to give him (unless he gave her a good reason to give it). I think she capitalised entirely on his clinginess and desire to be close to her as well as the secrets he'd shared with her and though she would never let him come in harms way, I think she knew exactly how to use him and wasn't afraid of doing so.

I could go on forever about the complexities of them...but anyway, hope this answers your questions for now.

Introducing Nephili ‘Neph’ Ax-Vel, one of the Force-sensitive kids that I invented for my ever-fixed mark ‘verse! Featuring an omwati redesign because the idea behind the species seemed so cool and yet what little art there is looks like uh… just humans with 80s hair and that was Not It for me. 

She is incredibly interested in technology and is showing signs of integrating her connection to the Force in that, exactly as Aava was so interested to see someone do! However (the monkey’s paw curls for Aava) Blue is her absolute favorite adult in the whole world, for unknowable reasons. (It probably comes down to them having some ineffable yet powerful autism2autism communication going on; he is surprisingly non-awful with her.)   

She’s also the only one of the kids small and literally bird-boned enough for Blue to be able to carry. (Dar-Yen — who even as a little babby 10 year old besalisk is pretty solid — once made a bet with his BFF that Blue would catch him if he jumped into his arms, Brooklyn 99 meme style. This experiment ended with several bruised ribs on all sides and a stern talking to. To this day the kids argue over whether Blue at least tried to catch him before they both went down like matching sacks of potatoes, or was just trying to save his cup of caf. Reader, I think you know in your heart what the truth is there.)

Before Aava and Zero started trading off haircutting duty, Blue’s hair got pretty long, which Neph took as prime free ‘I’ll braid your hair!!!’ real estate. 

Feared lethal assassin Agent Zero play fighting with the kids and dramatically pretending to fall to their combined might is something that can actually be so personal (is so personal I guess considering I made it up for myself lol). It is partially just to be an uncle-shaped jungle gym, but also a way to sneakily train them in working as a group the way he used to when running with a pack in his youth  

*blue voice* but why did theseus seduce ariadne though. Why did he not put the moves on the minotaur instead. This seems like the more obvious and productive cause of action long-term (and I have no other horny reason to think this)

Three months and he still hasn't asked about your gender. You started to worry, because he either doesn't care or he’ll care too much and freak out when you finally tell him. Your brain leans to the latter possibility so you decide to confront him one fateful night.

9 weeks, 91 days, 2,184 hours since Tangerine and you became a couple.

Three months since you went on your first date with him—a trip to the aquarium where you beamed at every fish that swam past you, adoration in Tangerines eyes—and has since gone on various different dates and meet ups with him. 

Yes, you're aware of what he and his twin do for a living. No, you didn't get killed by his agency and swore to protect that information. Yes, you actually don't mind it since he's the most interesting thing that has happened in your otherwise boring life. And yes, you miss him a lot when he goes on missions, but despite it all, you await his return home for another week or two going to places with him by your side. 

Three months, and he doesn't ask what gender you identify as.

To put it simply, when you and Tangerine met, you instantly clocked the posh and pristine look and thought; "He's definitely gay." 

while on the other hand, taking account of your choice of clothing and makeup, it's not clear what you are. A damn fine human being for sure, but either you're in or out of the gender spectrum is questionable. Despite that though, Tangerine saunters over to you from across the park, to where you're sitting and reading your book, and introduces himself with the most charming smile. He only asked what you go by—pronouns and sexuality so he doesn't approach the wrong person—and went on with his conversation.

Since then, you've been spending most of your time stuck to his side, going on date number 60th and so on, sharing stories from missions or from your everyday life, and planning on far futures you dont think could happen, but can hope. 

He's always been supportive of your choices; encouraging you to wear pieces you know you'll look good in but anxious to wear, beaming at you when you go out with a new makeup look, and overall loving you without hesitation. 

You tried bringing it up once or twice, while watching a movie where one of the characters is either nonbinary or genderfluid, and has since learned that Tangerine is cisgender and gay. He asked you the same question, minus the gender, and that got your gears going because; who asks the "What sexuality and gender are you?" without the gender part?

Ever since then, you've just been slightly inching your way to find a perfect opportunity to tell him.

Tonight, is the night.

Four days into Tangerines week off and you and him are currently setting up a comfy night in. Blankets, pillows, and a movie already picked for the living room TV. You've currently cocooned inside one of the many blankets on the couch when you hear Tangerine walk into the room.

"Here we are," He sets down the bowl of snacks. "Room for one more?"

You chuckle and extend your arm, enough so Tangerine can slip next to you underneath the blankets. He starts to shuffle for the remote and you realize this would be the only chance to finally talk to him about it. No romantic settings, no days out, just a safe space between you two.

When he finally finds the remote, you also find your courage.

"Wait," Your hand stops on top of his. Tangerine turns towards you, bright blue eyes with curiosity in them. "I have something i wanna talk about,"

He nods, setting down the remote and fully bringing your hands into his. "Of course love," he answers slowly. 

Words jumble in your brain as you try to arrange them right, anxiety biting at your tongue. “Take your time,” Tangerine, ever so carefully, caresses circles in between your index and thumb. You inhale, then exhale a shaky breath before you have those stark eyes laced with worry.

“We've been dating for three months now, yes?” He nods, you slowly continue.

“You’ve told me about your work, and I've told you my secrets as well, but…” Your voice croaks. You half expected Tangerine to push on, but instead, he sits attentively, still holding your hands in his. There's really a reason why Tangerine would freak out—Or hell forbid, break up with you—So the growing sweat beneath your collar doesn't add up to Tangerine's patience. You gulp, finally continuing.

“There’s something you need to know,” You wait.

A beat, before he replies steadily, “Alright,”

“I’m gender fluid.” Your eyes snap to the blanket pooling at your waist. The silence was nauseating, nothing good could come out of a pause from such a heavy confession, and a late one at that. What were you thinking? You should've given him the chance at the first week, hell, the first day! It’s common courtesy nowadays, isn't it? Why did you wait for-

“Okay,” 

Your head jerks up. “Okay?”

“Yeah, okay, and?” 

Your moth mimics a fish, eyes blinking rapidly. Tangerine grins and tilts his head as if your answer confuses him instead of the other way around. “That's it? Okay?”

“Yeah, what else am I supposed to say?” He grins. “I thought you were going to say you’re a murderer or sumn’, now that would make m’jaw drop,”

“Huh?” You laugh in disbelief. 

“Well yeah, we only got one room for a killer in this relationship and I believe that’s been taken by me, love,” 

“Tangerine!” Your laughter grows, careening into his shoulder as he also chuckles. 

“What? I'm right, aren't I? I’m the assassin and you’re my dear to come home to,”

“Come on!” You giggle and punch his chest lightly. You’re startled when he grabs the hand that punched him, lacing his fingers between yours.

“I’m serious, angel,” You lift your head and could feel your breath stutter with the way his gaze bores into yours. “I feel honored to know you’re comfortable with me to tell me you’re fluid,” 

“I didn't want to pry while being so early together, I wanted you to share with me at your own pace,” He smiles. It shines rivals stars in the sky. “Thank you, dearest,” 

He brings your hand and presses a gentle kiss on your knuckles. You held your breath. “I thought… you’d wanted to know that earlier, I worried myself thinking I told you my gender too late,”

“Darling, I fell in love with you and your personality, believe it or not,” He smirks. “Definitely not with what you’re hiding under those baggy trousers-”

“Tangerine!” You fully crumble in a heap of laughter while Tangerine holds you to his chest, also giggling. These are definitely the reasons you fell for him—And to quote the man himself, ‘Definitely not with what he's packing’—The ability to reduce your anxiety and comfort you through it. 

“Thank you,” You reply, finally sober from your laugh. “For accepting me,”

“Of course, my love, every day,” Your smile broadens, and so do Tangerines. He slowly treads his finger behind your head, brushing at your hair and on your nape, and brings you close to press a kiss. You hum against his lips, relishing in the warmth of his hold, worry replaced by relief and your heart floods with love.

As crazy as it sounds even though Dub introduced me to porn Dub was not that much into it as I was.  In fact, it became an addiction for me.  I remember being in the car and hearing for the first time a yahoo® commercial.  I remember going to the computer and going to yahoo® for the first time and typing in the search bracket “naked men.”  I went crazy going from website to website looking at these men.  I had enjoyed it so much that it became a daily routine.  But it didn’t end there.  I remember in going from website to website stumbling upon a straight sex website and for the first time I saw pictures of heterosexual couples having sex.  It was new for me, but I soon became addicted to straight porn.  It wasn’t just men posing nude, but now straight couples having sex.  From there I began to also see threesomes; two women and one man.  Usually there was straight and lesbian sex happening in the pictures.  From there I stumbled onto female posing websites.  At that moment my porn watching was men posing, women posing, straight sex, and threesomes.  After seeing the lesbian pictures from the threesomes, I got curious and began my first gay search.  That was my favorite because it reminded me of what Dub and I would do.  In fact at one point, I would look at the porn to get new ideas and even new positions for the both of us.  Every time we got together; I would show him what I learned from the porn.  To me it was exciting to do what I had seen from looking at the porn.  It seemed like the tables had turned.  At the age of four he was teaching me and at the age of fourteen; I was teaching him.  Although I was still looking at the previous porn gay porn was my favorite.  I even remember looking at porn at school (Middlesex County College) and at the time I did not know the computers were monitored.  I got caught and was completely embarrassed.  I was out of control.  However, it wasn’t enough; I had gotten bored with it.  I had to keep searching for new porn.  From the age of sixteen through about nineteen had discovered a whole variety of porn.  I had seen: bestiality, incest, twins, shemales, hermaphrodites, fetishes (feet, bondage, watersports (urination), fisting, role playing, toys), group sex, bisexual, gay, lesbian, straight, black, white, Asian, Hispanic, pregnant women, midgets, foreign, domestic, old, young, and too young.  I remember the first time I came to a website and there were naked children.  I really got excited then.  By then the sex between me and Dub had ended and looking at this porn was a great memory of our past together.  It also helped me to stay in denial.  As I said before I always felt bad that Dub subjected me to something bad (wrong (sin)).  I felt better knowing that what we did together was indeed okay and not in any way bad.  So, seeing these children with each other and looking like they consented help me to believe that indeed what we (Dub and I) did was okay and is okay.  After finding it I became heavily addicted.  I began to search and search and search and every time I found more I made sure I did not forget where I found it.  I was excited to see this porn every day.  I will admit there was always a side of me that said, “This will not last forever.  I will not continue to look at this porn forever.”  There were even time periods where I had stopped looking at it and promised myself, I would not look any more, but the addiction was way to strong and I did not want to give it up.  I had obtained these addictions at an early age and did not want to give up the pleasure I received.  This was just one addiction that kept me stuck in a horrible state of mind.
