...You know, I had wondered before what the heck was Rocās JP name (ć«ć Rufu) supposed to be. Back when I first saw it, when I Googled ć«ć all that showed up was this company named Ruff, so I was like āthis doesnāt make senseā and I thought the translation just changed it into something that sounds less strange (the king of Voleriās name was also changed from just āDanā in JP to āAidanā in Eng).
Well, uh, as it turns out ć«ć is actually supposed to be Rukh, which isĀ the same thing as Roc (mythological bird from 1001 Nights). Rukh is the Persian form of the name. WELLP. At least now I know what to call him properly ffff... I feel super dumb now, but I guess I just didnāt search carefully enough.Ā
Gonna have to fix my tags now, Iām so frustrated.
