i think we as a society need to return to campy movies. i wanna see more "ghostbusters," more "repo! the genetic opera," more "rocky horror picture show." i wanna see more movies where you can see the effects, where it's all over the place and insane, where the music isn't something you'd find in an opera house, but you can tell that the people behind it put their whole chests, their blood, sweat, and tears into it. you don't need avatar level special effects to make a good project. you don't need marvel level complexity to make a good story. you don't need john williams making your soundtrack to have good music. we should be less afraid of movies being seen as "flawed" or "imperfect" because imo, that just makes them all the more fun and heartfelt.

I put this quick piece together after playing Touhou 19 because I wanted to draw Biten in my style. Looking back at my speculations, I was defnitley wrong on a lot of things but tbh, I'm pretty happy with the game we got in the end. I love the newhus so much and will be making art of them soon. I was a bit sad that Keiki didn't show up but TBH, I feel like she's being saved for a later game's story. Hopefully a fighting game we haven't gotten one of those in a while. But anyways, I love Biten, I haven't been able to read the actual dialogue in the story but from her sprite expressions and things I've heard about her, she seems like the happy go lucky type and I love it :D

no no no no no you don't understand. It's the slightly ticked off tone. the slight fear of someone, perhaps everyone, knowing something about him that he doesn't know himself. its the brushing past it. trying to move on. he is SUCH a good character for the ace/aro rep.

so confident. so assured of all he is. how quickly could that unravel if he realizes he doesn't even know his sexuality? something so many demons are so confident of (and with).

and that other people understand, but he doesn't. how quickly could that be used to crumble his sense of control that he values so much?
