Angel Dust love/appreciation post

With all the horrendous negativity sorrounding Angel Dust these days, I decided to make a post dedicated to love and appreciate him. It's 2024 and we still need to defend victims. It's like we moved backwards, specially considering that most individuals that hate Angel for... some reason? Call themselfs progressists. Lmao. What a sick joke. But let's foccus on what's good: Angel.

• Angel was willing to have sex with Alastor only to help Charlie. He doesnt like Alastor, he thinks Al is creepy and untrustworthy, and if he filmed himself having sex with Al, he would piss off Valentino (doing work "without his permission" to help someone Val heavily dislikes, after all, Charlie is helping him). So Angel was putting himself in danger and willing to fuck the stinky deer bastard just to help Charlie. HE LOVES HER SO MUCH, I CANT.

• Angel is so protective. He is so brave, he tried everything he could to keep Charlie away from Val, even yelling at her because her safety is more important for him. He grabbed Niffty like a baby to protect her from the loansharkers that were chasing Mimzy, he took the knife out of Niffty's hand, he stood up against Val to defend Niffty, and, unlike Charlie, she wasnt very close to him. But he just cares so much about his friends. It's so beautiful.

• The whole scene when Angel tells Val to fuck off. Just this. It's so fucking satisfying to see Angel being so strong and brave. Of course he will need help eventually, no one can be strong forever, but still. I'm so proud of him.

• Angel rejects Cherri's offer (drug) without shaming her or considering her less of a friend. He still loves her, supports her and is always there for her no matter what ❤️

• He didnt only stayed in the Hotel even after knowing Adam would target them first, he was also so invested in fighting back and protecting the Hotel. What a good boy 🥹

• When Vaggie throw him along with Pentious, he didnt ran away nor left Pentious to die alone (considering how both him and Vaggie were not trusting him), he fought back, protected Pentious and supported him after they were safe. And keep in mind that Pentious was both working for the Vees AND slutshamed Angel. But Angel didnt hold grudge (honestly he's better than me, my petty ass would be 100% pettier)

• The simple fact that Angel opened up to Husk was an act of strenght. This was so hard for him. The facade "helped" him to stay "untouched" and "safe" from humiliation, but it only made him self destruct. Letting go of that facade and ADMITING that he needs help is so, so hard. But he did it. Angel I love you

• The way he was so heartbroken by Pentious's death 🥺💔 "you did good, buddy" HEEELLPPP

• His protectiveness is beyond his friends, he saved the little egg boy in the cuntiest way possible, he's so fucking kind and brave, HE SLAYED.... (literally)

• As some people love to point Angel's past in the mafia (I mean, their ASSUMPTIONS on what Angel's mafia past was lol) to prove that "he is such a terrible person", I'd love to point out how he's terrified and disgusted by cruelty (Alastor's, Val's, Adam's) and only uses to violence when he needs to defend himself. From the men that wanted to drug and assault him in EP4, defending their territorry from Pentious in the pilot, defending the Hotel from literally every danger, from the mob that wanted to kill him in that very old pre-pilot comic. In conclusion, he is not a cruel person.

• And still speaking of that topic: he can handle himself. And that's fantastic. Every single time he used a gun, he ate 💅

• CHARLIE GRABBED HIS HAND IN THE FINALE 😭😭😭 it's so beautiful I love theeeemmm

• And of course, he stopped acting inapropriately towards Husk because he understood what he was doing is wrong. His haters are unable to see how much Angel improves himself, but it's not easy to let go of a problematic behaviour when called out. Angel I love you so much

• The way he was chasing Fat Nuggets when the Hotel was destroyed 🥺🥺🥺 such a wonderful pet dad ❤️

• There are different interpretations for Angel's reaction when Husk tells him "I guess you have changed", but I just love how he doesnt take pride or talks about himself, because that was not his priority. He wanted to foccus on living, helping and supporting his friends, spending his time wisely with people he cared about. I love you Angel

• Angel is unapologetically feminine, sensual, free and queer. This is awesome. He would be the best freak at Pride Parades. Be like Angel, be unapologetically yourself, live freely.

Ahhhh okay, thank you!! 💜🌻 I finally have a free moment (aka work is slow) so I'm going to work on drafting this out :) I have far too much art I'm proud of—I'm at a stage in my progress right now where I think my art looks pretty awesome. So this list will be stuff from my Greatest Hits collection on AO3. In order of oldest to newest, I think:

incandescently happy

An LU post-adventure work, one of the first longer fics I posted. I released one chapter a day over the summer of 2022, so a lot of the notes have something about my day in them. It's about 30k all told.

I absolutely adored expanding on what the boys might do after the whole LU adventure happens (though I did forget about the fact that I think Time and Malon have a kid during this time!) This work features some proto-Shatterproof stuff, like Wind having a prosthetic leg and Four starting to specialize in crafting prosthetics/disability aids. I gave Hyrule longer hair and a job making maps for the royal family. Legend got another adventure but also started a magic garden/orchard, which pulls in more business than Ravio's stuff. Four and his grandpa adopted a single mother and her two kids. Man I went off with some of these headcanons. I've always considered writing more in this world, but I think it stands very well on its own. Maybe someday I might revisit and rewrite it with some of my new skills. :)

Rise and Shine and Fall

Whumptober 2022, focused entirely on LU! Guys this thing is almost 78k. I realize now that most people pre-plan or pre-write for things like Whumptober, but I wrote these one by one every day, which was extra-hard because I had both college classes and a day job at the time. I came up with some fun AUs, learned a lot about writing (especially whump), and proved to myself that I can do hard things like this!! I've adored doing daily challenges since, though I haven't done it in a while. I look forward to this year's whumptober though!

I really like the table of contents in the first chapter—it makes things easy to find. I know individual works are probably more accessible, but I was still getting to know AO3, and those big numbers are fun. XD I have a hard time picking favorites, because I really went off on these, but I'd say a couple of them are:

Chp 7, "Proof of Life" about Four and Shadow

Chp 18, "I'm onwy a babey :(" about Wind

Chp 21, "6:13" about Hyrule and Time

The Marvelous Misadventures of Wind and His Merry Band or Maybe-Human Heroes

It's been a while since I updated this story (56k, 6/8 chapters), but it's constantly on my mind. I've started chapter 7 twice, and I know what I want to happen, but I am easily distracted by the siren call of some other whump fics. XD

I freaking love this story, though. I really want to finish it. It's kind of an... experiment? I guess? I want to get published someday, and I picture myself writing middle-grade novels. This story is sort of my attempt to hit that tone. Also I just love Wind so so so much. Let him be cool!!

Blood-Sucker's Guide to High School

56k Four Swords completed story! I wrote this in a frenzy of like two or three weeks, then took another two to edit. It takes plot points from a vampire novel I enjoyed and twists and applies them to a story about Shadow and the Four Swords manga boys. I'm very proud of what I accomplished here, and that it's a complete story! I think it worked out really well. I learned a lot about plotting and handling larger stories, and it helped that I had the half-remembered structure of an existing novel to use as training wheels.

I love the worldbuilding in this story! The premise is that Shadow is an evil soulless vampire from a (rather abusive, not that he sees it) family of the same, but then he gets the ability to walk in the sunshine. He's assigned to go to high school for a while to get a feast for the vampire gala, but meanwhile he's developing a conscience and getting very attached to these human boys. I think I did a good job. I love rereading this, every scene is just so fun! :)

Counterbalance

55k exactly of a stupid LU darks AU. This started life as a series of oneshots and then the plot progressively got more and more convoluted and I love these stupid boys so much. The plot is very much not tight, in contrast to Blood-Sucker's Guide, but I learned a lot about how I write and how I like to plan with this one, too.

The characters are stupid and the plot is just kinda silly and there is both a bathhouse scene AND a spa scene. Legend blows up multiple things, my lovely nasty little Dark Links need smacks and therapy, and Prince has a legitimately emotional moment at the end. I love how it turned out, it's like an ugly little stuffed animal I made and hug until the eyes pop out.

That's five but I would be extremely remiss if I did not also mention something from Shatterproof:

The Incredible Shrinking Chain

About 10k, this is entry 31/68 in my series Shatterproof, which is a close-canon AU in which each of the boys has a different physical disability. This series also plays into my publishing ambitions, because whatever I publish will very likely have some disability representation. I'm rather passionate about it, actually! Shatterproof is close to my heart, and I'm so honored that so many people seem to love it too. :) I need to work on the next entry again!!

This entry in particular is so much fun. In it, the whole Chain sans Four is stuck mouse-sized, and Four has to travel out to Twilight's castle with them to get Dusk to help break the curse. They all have to figure out how to navigate while tiny, and Four pulls some very silly stunts. I love them.

Anyway, there's my list!! I've written a lot over the last like two and a half years, and I'm so so glad that I get to be here and part of this community. The LU fandom as a whole (or at least the parts I've seen!) is so welcoming and positive and I try to give back where I can! I'm going to suggest looking through my bookmarks and ultimate rec list collection to find some new favorites from some very talented authors! :) (oof I need to update the collection soon!! Proud dad. You’re LGBT+ ? He only likes you more. He would high five you and laugh loudly while patting your back affectionately. He doesn't know subtle and it wouldn't take long for the whole compound to know. He’ll show you support by being by your side at all times and even make you wear assorted big shirts with written in big rainbow letters :

"FRUITY AS GRAPEFRUIT !"

He knows what it feels like to be in the closet for too long, he was bi in the 1950s, before even the creation of the LGBT movement, so he was repressed for a long time..which means, he would never joke around about it and even be pretty defensive when someone else would bully you for it.

Freddy *sees someone insult you and loses his smile* : "Some little b*tch is gonna lose their tongue real soon if they don’t shut the f*ck up !"

Firstly, you would have to explain what it means, then he’d be happy to be the first to know, feeling honored and be as supportive as he can be. He would even let you paint his mask with all the colors of the rainbow if you’d ask ?

If someone bullied you for it ? Let’s say, would you like him to cut their finger or their ear off ? He’d gladly chop them into tiny pieces or simply snap their neck ? Machete at the ready. Just in case. He knows what being bullied because you’re different feels like and wouldn’t hesitate before defending you.

It wouldn't really be a surprise to him, as he already knew from the start and didn't mind it. But, he still smiled and pretended to just learn about it and sounded genuinely excited when you told him, even though he never thought it would be such a big deal to you ?

However, he started understanding when other people started learning about it as well and found someone mocking you for it. He didn't understand it, but knew that it hurt you and didn't like seeing you sad. He glared at the individual with bright yellow eyes full of rage and bared his teeth at him.

"I will make you regret those words..I despise humans like you. Always judging. You make me so angry angry angry...And when I'm angry ? I start being hungry."

The man/woman flee and Penny was about to run after them when he felt arms wrap around his waist and looked down to see you, your face buried in his costume and was confused as he saw you were crying, but he could only smell happiness from you.

"Thank you so much, Penny.."

He didn't understand..He..did something ? He reluctantly wrapped his arms around you, as he still had no idea of what he had done to earn himself such gratefulness ? But, still smiled and answered softly.

"No problem, human.."

"And...?"

Frankly ? It wouldn't make much of a difference to him. However, he would understand your need to stay secret at the beginning. He wouldn't tell anyone about it of course, but would find it so obvious, the surprise would be in the actual confession. Why would you tell him ? Did you think he didn't know ? Or, you wanted some kind of validation ? He would then either shrug or pat your head with an awkward smile.

"That's..Huh..great, kiddo ?"

However, he would soon understand your reluctance to admit it to anyone else after hearing someone shame you for it at work and immediately become defensive of you and make sure it never happens again..

Pennywise *appearing in front at the individual who insulted you with a big ominous grin* : "Hey there ! Here is the piece of trash I was looking for ! Come here, boy/girl ! Let me teach you a thing or two about manners !"

"REALLY ?! WOW ! YOU GO YOU ! GREAT !" *bear hug*

Harley would accept you and be extra supportive. But, let's be honest ? She would Iike you if you were all the colors of the rainbow. She doesn't care about your sexuality, as long as you are fun ! The first night you would admit it to her, she would celebrate with you by going to a club and get drunk, or blow stuff up and make sure you have a good time.

However, NOBODY hurts her friends..She always has her faithful shotgun with her, just in case someone would make a nasty comment and hurt you. She wouldn't hesitate before using it. Just say the word.

"KABLOUIE !"

Michael would be understanding about it and be sure to tell you that he is proud of you actually telling him, knowing that it must have been a hard thing to do and smile underneath his mask before ruffling your hair a bit, showing his support and affection.

However, if he was to hear about anyone who bullied you for it ?

Angry Myers. They thought it was okay to shame you and hurt you ? Even if it's your parents or your family relatives ? He'll kill them. Doesn't give a sh*t. He'll adopt you. They can burn in hell. He's got your back and if you don't want him to kill them ? He will make sure to get their ideas straight. You ARE valid.

He wouldn't necessarily understand at first ? He would be happy that you're confident enough to admit it to him and would immediately hug you afterwards. Brahms is..undecided about his own sexuality. He's happy that you found your answer and would maybe ask you questions ? He would be shy at first but would soon be more relaxed on the subject with you and find himself relating to you more and more.

"How did you...know ? How can you tell ?"

Brahms was repressed at a young age and would understand the relief and the struggles related to admitting it. This is why he wouldn't let anyone shame you for it or punch them so hard they would see stars until next morning. Brahms may be a sweetheart most of the time, but he hates when people hurt the ones he cares about.

"Don't listen to them..You're per...perfect."

"YAAS ! ANOTHER ONE ! YOU GO, GIRL/MAN ! SLAY !"

Barry is gay. Gayer than gay. He's the guy who looks at men pics on his phone and drools when no one is looking. He has a gym card membership, but only goes to stare at the goods. He watched Mean Girls so many times, he knows the lines by heart. 😂..Let's be honest. He would be so happy to have someone else to go to gay pride with.

However, concerning defending you ? Barry would let Dennis or Patricia handle it..Sorry. Barry is not that courageous and had to go through a lot of shame for being gay as well when they were little..Bad memories that better stay repressed for now. However, he would make sure to ask someone else for help.

Five : "...Not surprising."

Five is very observant and it wouldn't take him long to figure it out. But, he would be respectful enough not to mention it and wait until you're ready to talk about it. He wouldn't push you and would internally be happy that you finally decided to tell him.

Five would break the nose of whoever dared make fun of you for it. Don't forget he's already got an LGBT brother (who was very happy when he heard about you) and who went through the same struggles as you. He would fight tooth and nail to protect the ones he cares about and wouldn't even mind torturing a few, just to be sure.

Five *to your bullies* : "If I hear one more word about how you bullied my friend ? You're going to need a wheelchair..Wait. You know what ? Let's go straight to the point. What size do you want your coffin ? Just for practical purposes.."

Bonus : Adoption Express with Norman 😂

Norman was at the reception and found you and your mother in the lobby. He then felt someone staring at him and looked up to find it was you. You stood still for a moment and quickly looked away, until your eyes met again and he smiled at you. You smiled back sheepishly and your mother noticed. She tskd at you.

"Y/N. Stop staring at the poor man.."

"But mom ! He's pretty !"

Norman smiled at the sweet compliment and was about to thank you when your mother rolled her eyes.

"Stop talking like that. You're an embarrassment enough as it is, I don't need everyone to know about your...condition. Seriously, couldn't you just be like every other boy/girl and like girls/boys ?!"

Your eyes widened at her words and you felt tears threatening to spill. You had told your mom about your—what she called— "condition". Now, you regretted ever telling her..

"Yes..mother."

You obediently replied, not expecting the pretty stranger to come to your rescue as he crouched just in front of you and held your hands.

"You're very pretty too, sweetheart. So, you're (LGBT) ? It must have been very hard for you to admit it and I'm so proud of you."

He then kissed your forehead and you felt the tears you were restraining fall as nobody had ever told you that they were proud or understood you before..even your own parents couldn't comprehend or accept it, but this man, this total stranger told you everything you wanted to hear..

"What do you think you're doing with my child ?!", your mother shrieked indignantly.

Norman gave her the coldest glare he could muster before standing up to answer her while looking down at her condescendingly.

"Your job. Someone should do it, since you seem to be so bad at it.."

Your mother's cheeks burned red in embarrassment before she humphed unhappily and stood up to leave, expecting you to follow her, but you didn't. You stayed with the nice man and held his hand. He seemed surprised at first, but smiled and nodded understandingly before looking up defiantly at your mother.

"It seems 'your child' doesn't want to leave with you..Maybe, if you'd apologize, they would actually follow you ?"

But, your mother looked at the both of you successively in disbelief and snorted mockingly.

"Apologize to this freak ? Never.."

And then, she left.

She didn't even look back and Norman saw your heart shatter and hugged you.

"Hey..Ssh..I'm sorry. I'm sure she'll regret and come back."

He really hoped, even though he was certain she wouldn't, or come back with the cops and take you back by force..but, he wouldn't let her. He wiped your tears and addressed you a soft smile.

"Listen here, honey. I'm going to ask you something very important and you need to think about it very seriously, okay ?"

You sniffled and nodded.

"Do you want me to take you away ? I know we don't know each other that well..But, I promise. I'll be a good mother to you."

You frowned deeply in concentration, weighting the pros and the cons ? He seemed like a nice man and your relationship with your mother had deteriorated greatly since you had admitted your preferences to her. She didn't want you..And this stranger defended you. He didn't know you, and yet..He was being more thoughtful and accepting than your mother had ever been. Even though, you were a bit confused as to what he meant by "being a good mother". He was a man..Right ? You finally smiled and accepted. Norman smiled again before taking your hand.

"Great. Let's go."

‘Come on, Tamaki, I’m sure it’ll be fun and interesting!!’ in the hallways of UA everyone could hear Mirio’s voice resonate loudly, trying to convince his best friend to do a particular training session with him and a certain first-year. ‘B-but Mirio... have you seen him? He looks so... mad, and w-when Aizawa-sensei organized that scenario he even... I wanna go home...’ Tamaki sighed.

The truth was that he didn’t actually have a problem with helping the first-years with individual training sessions, but he hadn’t considered that Bakugou, the one who had almost blown him up in another training session while muttering (better, screaming) something about ‘a villain always being a villain’ and whatnot, would’ve been one of the first students to sign himself up. It was pretty logical, now that the third-year thought about it, he always wanted to excel in everything, he would’ve never missed an opportunity like that.

Nejire was busy with her family that week, so leaving the turbulent student to her wasn’t an option, therefore, he had no choice but to do what he had agreed to do. The only good thing of the whole situation was that Mirio was going to be there with him. Aizawa had already agreed with that, and Bakugou didn’t really object either (it was going to be an even better training session for him, with two members of the Big Three instead of one). So there he was, shaking like a leaf, dragged by his friends towards the arena, which was reserved for the occasion, so that they would’ve been able to use their quirks without risking to hurt other people.

‘Tch, about time...’ there he was, Katsuki Bakugou, with a scarier aura than ever. Mirio, however, was sure that the red-eyed boy was eager to start, maybe even excited. He remembered very well how it felt to be the first year who admired the older students and tried to be like them to make his teachers proud. Tamaki, on the other hand, looked like he was about to faint from nervousness. He didn’t have the same cheerful memories as his friend. All he remembered from his first year was the older students being tall and threatening.

Now he was the third-year, though. And Mirio was with him, so he only had to keep calm and avoid any kind of behavior that could anger the spiky-haired guy and everything was going to be okay, right?

Well, he was right... at the beginning...

The three of them began with a quick warm-up and stretching, then they went to the more intense part, which didn’t exactly go as they expected. The first-year didn’t manage to use a particular skill with his quirk that the two third-years were trying to teach him, and he was quickly loosing his patience. ‘WHY CAN’T I DO SUCH A SIMPLE THING DAMMIT??!!!’ Bakugou had officially begun screaming, which on the other hand totally terrified the indigo-haired guy. The angry blonde started cursing against everything and everyone, so Mirio decided to intervene.

‘Hey, don’t you think you’re going a bit too plus ultra with those bad words?’ he asked, but the answer he received contained even more curses, if that was possible. Bakugou couldn’t accept the fact that he needed time to learn a certain technique, which was perfectly normal actually. No one manages to do everything at the first try and the blue-eyed guy was more than determined to make him understand that. But first, he needed to cheer his student up and help him realize that not everything required total seriousness, that he could have fun while training with two older students. Training was made to learn, exchange ideas with other people and, why not, make friends, too.

‘Hey Bakugou, I think you’re scaring Tamaki there... try to relax a bit!!’ while saying that, the cheerful guy tried to add a quick poke to emphasize his words, not expecting the squeak that the younger boy tried in vain to suppress. ‘Oh my god, Bakugou you’re ticklish??’ he sounded incredulous, and he was. He would’ve never thought that the scary first year could be ticklish, and yet there he was, making a desperate (and yet futile) attempt to hide his embarrassment.

When the spiky haired understood he couldn’t make up an excuse for that squeak, and noticed a way-too-playful glint in Mirio’s eyes, he decided to run for his life, already imagining what was coming for him. However, he soon found out how hard it was to outrun someone who can pass not only through walls, but through the ground, too. He thought he was safe when a hand coming from the ground snatched his ankle, making him trip. He didn’t hurt himself with the fall, but that gave the older student the advantage he needed to finally catch him.

‘HA!! Gotcha!’ the playful third-year exclaimed, after successfully stopping the younger student. He’d been in many playfights with his friends, so he knew how to not push boundaries, which is why he chose to sit on the ground and hug Bakugou from behind, leaving him space to struggle and even fight him back, if he really wanted to.

‘So, are you gonna cheer up? Or do I have to make you smile with my magical methods?’ Bakugou knew he was just joking, but those words made his blood rush to his cheeks. He needed to get out of that predicament quickly. ‘S-SHUT UP!! I DON’T KNOW WHAT YOU’RE TALKING ABOUT, AND BY THE WAY, BEING TICKLISH IS FOR CHILDREN!! WELL, CHILDREN AND THAT DAMN NERD!’ obviously, he tried to get his way out of that situation using anger, not knowing he was only digging his own grave.

‘Oh really, only for kids? So, if I were to do this...’ Mirio said while lightly digging his fingers in the younger boy’s sides ‘you wouldn’t feel anything, right?’ he asked with a big smile on his face. ‘Hmmm...e-exactly!! Nohothing at all... hehehe’ The red-eyed guy tried to act tough, but some giggles were already spilling out of his mouth. ‘Nothing at all? But I seem to hear some giggles here... adorable giggles, if I may add. Hey, Tamaki, wanna give me a hand?’

Tamaki had been staring at them the whole time, smiling fondly at the scene (although the smile was barely noticeable). He remembered very well how his friend would use that same “magical method” to help him win his shyness, or to cheer him up when training sessions didn’t go how he wanted, or just because he wanted to play with him and make him laugh. However, he couldn’t find a reason to not join the two of them, so he got up and reached the others, earning a wide smile from Mirio and a terrified look from Bakugou.

Actually, Tamaki thought about going home before standing up to join the two of them, but Mirio’s encouraging look and Bakugou’s expression, scared and giddy at the same time, made him win his anxiety. He was starting to see the younger boy not only as the talented but scary first-year, but also as a kid who still had a lot to learn and experience.

‘DON’T YOU DARE TO COME ANY CLOS- EEK!!’ the blonde’s threat almost made the indigo-haired guy turn on his heels and run away, but a gentle squeeze on the sides was more than enough to put him in his place. The shy guy mustered up as much courage as possible and began poking at Bakugou’s stomach.

The reaction was immediate, however the guy didn’t seem exactly enthusiastic of the predicament he was in. He began to squirm violently and his laughter was forced, with no joy at all. Obviously, Mirio and Tamaki understood the situation and stopped immediately. ‘Hey buddy, I’m- no, we’re sorry if we’ve made you uncomfortable. We were just messing around a bit to make you relax’ said the blue-eyed guy. Tamaki was frozen in fear at the thought of having to face an angry Bakugou.

However, the third-year’s apologetic tone made the angry boy’s glare soften a bit, also because he knew that respect was a line that should never be crossed, even if he didn’t totally drop his irritated attitude. ‘It seems we have a different conception of relaxing’ he began. ‘What the hell was that?!! You made me look like a child, which I’m not. AT ALL!!! I take training with the utmost seriousness. I want to be the #1 hero, I don’t have the time to play around like everyone else!!’

The older students were already almost sure of it, but now there was no doubt. Bakugou’s problem was that he couldn’t take the time to stop and enjoy the wonderful path he was walking to become a hero. Better yet, he didn’t know how, which is why they let the angry tone and what he said slide and explained him that it was fine to take breaks. If fact, even the best heroes need their time and space to recollect their thoughts and put themselves together before going back to their duty. Moreover, the three of them were still students, so it was their right to make cheerful memories of their time in school.

Bakugou listened carefully to every word and nodded, even though he still couldn’t bring himself to smile.

‘Still grumpy, huh?’ Mirio asked with a playful glint in his eyes once more. ‘Maybe you need something more than just words- Tamaki, get him!!’ while saying that, he hooked the younger student’s arms with his own and put him in a full nelson, leaving his torso completely exposed. The indigo-haired guy was still hesitant, so he started tickling the blonde’s tummy with light, soft touches, which however seemed to work just fine. ‘Hahahahaha oh gohohod Ihihihi undeherstohohod whahat you meahahahant’ Bakugou tried to say between hig giggles ‘yohohohou dohohohon’t nehheheheed to do thihihihis’

‘That’s right, we don’t need to, but we want to. Not everything we do must be useful, you know? Everyone’s allowed to take it easy’ Mirio explained, speaking a bit too close to the younger guy’s ears and neck, making him scrunch his shoulder to protect it. Noticing that reaction, the blue-eyed student began to blow delicately on his ears and neck, watching him with amusement while he struggled to protect both sides, failing miserably.

In the meanwhile, the other third-year had gotten more bold, and his touches were becoming harder (obviously without being painful), which was worse for the blonde. ‘Hahahahahahahah nahahahahhaha whahahahit nahahaht thehehere’ Bakugou squealed, lightly kicking the ground, when the shy teenager got a bit too close to his sides. Tamaki smiled softly at him, which wasn’t meant to fluster him but it still did, and kneaded his sides without hesitation. ‘Tickle tickle tickle...’ he said, earning another squawk from the younger hero in training. ‘Ohohoh my gahaAHAHAhad NOHohohot thehehehEHEHRE’ when his the indigo-haired guy began to squeeze the area between the sides and the lower ribs, the blonde’s laughter became more frantic.

‘Good job, buddy!! When we had this kind of fights, you’ve never been able to say tickle hehehe’ Mirio exclaimed cheerfully, making his friend squeak and jump, while blushing hard. However, while jumping he clawed at the spiky-haired guy’s ribs, which made him screech. ‘Hohohohohohold ohohohon pleheheheasehehehe dohohohon’t’ Bakugou pleaded, without sounding seriously distressed or really fighting back this time. 

Neither of them listened to the younger boy’s request and, while Mirio was whispering childish teases into Bakugou’s ears, Tamaki clawed his ribs once more, digging meticulously into every groove and stroking each bone, making the guy squirm around and kick his legs desperately, but with a big smile on his face. However, another surprise came for the third-years when, while going up and down on the ribcage, the shy guy got the spot between the ribs and the underarm, which earned a scream.

‘NAHAHAHAHAAHAHAT THEHEHEHRE PLEHEHEHEHEAHASEHE’ Bakugou went ballistic. Fully aware that this spot was the jackpot, Tamaki wasted no time and dug right in, alternating poking and prodding to light scribbling and drawing small circles all over the area, never letting the blonde get used to the sensation. ‘OHOHOHOH GAHAHAHAD THIHIS IHIHIHIHIS SOHOHOHO BAHAHAHAD HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA’ the explosion boy shouted, trying in vain to avoid the maddening feeling. 

‘HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA PLEHEHEHEAHAHAHASEHE STAHAHAHAHAHAP’ he begged after a solid ten minutes of getting tickled in his death spot and teased by Mirio at the same time.

Hearing the word “stop”, Tamaki immediately retracted his hands and the blue-eyed guy released Bakugou from his hold. ‘Are y-you okay? Did we o-overdo it?’ the shy guy asked genuinely concerned. ‘Huh? Oh, yeah... you didn’t overdo it’ the blonde answered after catching his breath. ‘But... well...’ he began muttering ‘you didn’t really have to... you know...’

‘Waahh!! I-i’m so sorry, I d-didn’t understand that y-you didn’t want to be tic- well... you know, that�� the indigo-haired stuttered.

‘Hahaha wait a second, I think someone was trying to say we didn’t have to stop’ Mirio said in a false menacing tone, already wiggling his fingers in the air. Bakugou’s blush and bashful expression was all the confirmation they needed. The cheerful third-year pounced on him straight away, tackling him to the ground and getting his tummy and sides, and Tamaki joined soon after, attacking the blonde’s underarms. MAking the first-year go into a fit of squeaky giggles once more.

Let’s say that no more serious training was done that afternoon.

I could not care less about Rina or Portwell. I like all characters individually. I feel bad for EJ and I hope he gets to confront his dad. I am proud of how far Ricky has come. And I am happy Gina is starting to figure out what she wants. But I don’t care who dates who.

Why are they all so shocked over the trailer? They knew they were just acting bitchy and that they would make it more dramatic than it was.

DID WE EVER FIND OUT WHAT THEIR CAMP NICKNAMES WERE

So now we’re here with… my sweet and wonderful Ashlyn. The character that I think the fandom, to be honest, has been a little harsh on this season. Y’all started calling her annoying, ”out of character”, ”she’s gonna cheat on Red with Maddox/Val 🙄”. No?? What happened to you all being so happy and supportive for Ashlyn in S2 only to immediately bash on her?

I like Redlyn just fine. They’re very cute. ”I’m Ashlyn’s boyfriend and I’m bi” was the funniest thing I have ever heard, though I am slightly unsure why Red was even in the documentary lmao (and I don’t know if he was supposed to say something else and he said wrong/they cut what he actually said lol, but nonetheless it was very funny). I am completely fine with them being endgame - but I hope you all don’t forget that Ashlyn did have a self discovery this season.

Yes, Redlyn are cute, Redlyn are bicons, yes I agree. But what bothers me a little bit is the fact that many people have basically barely mentioned Ashlyn when talking about this season, except when they talk about Redlyn in the last episode. Where were you to say anything in ep6 with the firework hug? Where were you in ep7? 90% of what you seemed to talk about was Rina or Portwell. It leaves me a little itch when people just apparently don’t have anything to say except when she reunites with her boyfriend, and that’s when they even mention her. Even if I find Redlyn cute, this wasn’t a Redlyn season, it was an Ashlyn self discovery season.

Yes, you can talk about what you want. Maybe I am a hypocrite since I barely talk about Rina or Portwell. But this is actual WLW representation and it’s a little sad with specifically WLW representation, cause people are always so much more celebratory with MLM representation - like with Carlos and Seb, people immediately are like ”😍🥳🕺🏼❤️” but when it comes to WLW representation, it almost always feels like people are more like ”🤷🏼‍♀️”. This is why so many WLW shows gets cancelled, cause there’s not as much viewers, cause with queer rep people rather prefer two boys rather than two girls.

I often recommend the show ”Tudo Igual SQN” (All the same or not) on D+ for people who has watched HSMTMTS, especially people who likes Ashlyn and Maddox. There’s two characters named Pri and Trix who are very similar to them. But I feel like, if all of the HSMTMTS fandom would watch that show they would probably focus on the ”str8” ships a lot more than Pri and Trix. Probably focus a lot more on Trix and her boyfriend.

Did I want Ashlyn and Val to be together? No, Val is a lot older and in a whole other place in life. Did I want Ashlyn and Maddox to be together? I’ll… get back on that.

Maddox is another character people just don’t mention in this season, and often when they do it was either to go ”she’s annoying 🙄” or comment on her just saying something. Not a lot of people seem to comment on her storyline or the fact that she has a crush on Ashlyn.

What I want for Maddox is that she comes back in season 4 and talks to Ash. We see the documentary trailer and it seems like they will make it seem like Maddox is in love with her - which probably will cause some drama. I bet there’s gonna be drama for all of them over it.

Ashlyn seemed like she had some doubts with Red in the last ep, but she didn’t want to make him feel bad. We’ll see how it goes with that. The documentary will stear up some drama. If Redlyn stays together and is endgame, I’ll be happy for them. If they break up and Ashlyn ends up with Maddox I’ll also be happy (though, I also hope they can do it justice - I do want everyone to be happy). And if Ashlyn, Red and Maddox all end up single I’ll also be happy for them.

I also think Kourtney deserves her own little part here, because y’all were sleeping on her too this season. She plays ELSA and needs to be treated like the queen she is! Her anxiety storyline was so good. Her scenes were the only times in the entire series when I cried. When she climbed the wall. When Channing turned off the lights and she stood on stage, TEARS came for me when she started singing again and everyone cheered for her. I am so proud of Kourtney. She is so good. The only one who has gotten me to cry TWO TIMES in a show I barely felt a bit sad with last season.

Conclusion: For me, and me personally so this ofc does not apply to all of you, the characters who made the season the most for me was Ashlyn, Kourtney and Maddox. Everyone else was fine, but those three ladies really made it for me ❤️💜💙

Sweet reviews and music!

That sounds like a southern expression or something-

But yeah! Reviews because it makes me realize other people enjoy my stories, and that gives me motivation to keep writing it for them. And music because it gives me new ideas (and imagining scenarios that sync to the music is one of my favorite things to do lol).

💎 Do you often write about a relationship or focus on an individual?

Hmm… I think relationships. But I almost always keep it to one perspective for the entire story, so kinda the individual as well?

🚦What sort of endings do you prefer to write: ambiguous, bad, happily ever after, etc.?

I don’t typically write “oh my goodness everyone lives happily ever after and everything is perfect oh my goshhhhh” endings, but I also don’t typically write endings where everyone dies and it’s generally… sad.

With the exception of my Tommy dies AU of course

The endings I adore writing (and reading!) are the more… realistic ones. I tend to lean more towards the happier side, but I also don’t like to “fix” everything by the end.

Because in real life, endings aren’t perfect, y’know? They can be happy, but they’re not exactly perfect. And I want my stories to incorporate that, for the most part :)

But there’s also been this scene I’ve had in mind for… dang probably a year now? It’s actually how I came up with my OC Elmer :)

It’s just this image of Elmer leaning out of a train, holding onto it with one arm and using his other to hold onto his hat. He’s got a big smile on his face. Pure joy.

It’s cloudy and a bit rainy, but not a dreary kind of weather; more like a refreshing kind of weather.

It was right after I’d seen Luca for the first time, and it’s pretty much an exact replica of the ending scene, but avsjsvsivsia yeah!!

character i associate myself with: Richard Papen from the Secret History by Donna Tartt. kind of an observer and the most pretentious twat you’d ever meet, quiet and kind of just ordinary, i guess? he’s really proud and self-dependent and just kind of there on the sidelines; he likes pleasing people and he goes for the aesthetic more than he does substance and he’s very morally grey. in general just a mood and i would literally do everything he did in the same situation

favourite antihero: Harley Quinn from the DCEU because she’s so badass and cool and i’m so proud of her in the Birds of Prey movie like 😌😌 my bitch really quit being a villain and became an antihero on her own terms, leaving behind her toxic ex boyfriend 😌😌 SHE REALLY DID THAT HSGSHSB i love her SO much (i realise she’s not from a book but cut me some slack)

character with the best love story: Eleanor and Park from Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell. i stand by this story and will stand by it forever. the writing is SO beautiful and the setting is so convincing. the fucking PLOT too!! and the music references like omg this book makes me yearn for a high school romance in 1980s rural America with mixtapes to the Smiths and U2 and Joy Division. the actual love story itself is so amazingly handled as well and the emotion is incredible? the ENDING?!?! i don’t like romance books usually but THIS book-

character who taught me a lot: Death from the Book Thief by Markus Zusak. it’s a strange character but its voice is so resonant and its messages about war and love and humanity and modernity are so relevant even today, since it deals with events in the 1940s. its language as a narrator really impacted me as a writer too and that whole book in general just fucked me up like i cried ok 😃 in general Death is, above everything else, educating. the line “they were French, and they were Jews, and they were you” when it was talking about French Jews in Auchwitz will haunt me forever.

interesting antagonist: Edmund from King Lear by William Shakespeare, i’m going to sound so pretentious now but ANYWAY 🙃 that boy is the most cunning, twisted and fucked up individual EVER. like that bitch. screwed me up. he’s self-made, cool, calculating, capable, Machiavellian; it’s so entertaining to read him scheming. and his mind is SO fascinating and oddly beautiful? his soliloquy in Act 1 blew my mind. “we make guilty of our disasters the sun, the moon, and the stars, as if we were villains by necessity, fools by heavenly compulsion” and “now gods, stand up for bastards” like DAMNNN BITCH WUT 😃😃 his relationships with Goneril and the other sister (i always forget her name) are really complex as well. does he care for them? are they just objects to him? it’s different with each reenactment and omg i honestly don’t know if i love Edmund or hate him but he’s very very interesting and the sole reason i tolerate King Lear as a play

character who disappointed me: Davy Prentiss Jr from the Chaos Walking trilogy by Patrick Ness. in the Knife of Never Letting Go i HATED him but in The Ask and The Answer? he hit me hard. ik he was an awful person like that bastard bullied Todd and ran a concentration camp for aliens and was very clearly sexist and violent. but he was like 15. in the Ask and the Answer we learn about his past a little, his emotions are explored, and his father very clearly is shown to have a huge impact on his personality as a whole. Davy’s growing brotherly relationship with Todd was so heartwarming and he was really growing as a character, learning to drop his racist and sexist views, and overall so close to becoming a better person. he never did get there in the end, which was the most disappointing and heartbreaking thing

awesome but little-known character: A from Everyday by David Levithan. you probably don’t know who they are, though
