I had a dream last night that the candy bar, Almond Joy, had a new mascot who was explicitly a trans woman.
There was a commercial where the mascot is sitting in an airplane and their friend sees them and says: “Joy! Oh my gosh, you look so good!”
Joy responds “Thanks! I had my nuts removed.” Big smile. Wink at the camera.

Tendo Satori
Tumblr media
“Okay!” You huffed, crossing your arms over the apron you haphazardly put on. “Chocolate, filling, moulds, coconut oil…” Counting all the items you’d prepared for today, you made sure that nothing was missing. First impressions this and that, right?
When you joined the cooking club at the beginning of the year, you could hardly imagine yourself using by the kitchen-classroom to make chocolates for a boy.
Upon asking your friends about the types of sweets a guy might like, they all suggested chocolate like it was some sort of fact they’d known for years. But not just any plain old chocolate; it had to be handmade for the full ‘effect’. With that, you’d considered a few flavours that he might like; not that you knew anything about him other than the fact that he was in your schools Volleyball Club, and was pretty well known for his skills.
So how on earth did you get yourself in this situation in the first place, making chocolates for someone you’d never even spoken a word to before?
You’re not sure what triggered it, but it was a while ago when you started noticing things felt different for you. He’d sit in front of you during class, being relatively quiet most of the time. You’d notice the way he acted around his friends, especially in the hallways with his younger teammates from the club. Something about him seemed different from the rest of the guys in your class - in a way, you felt an odd sense of comfort.
Though, the faint scent of something burning wafted through the air, breaking you out of your reminiscent trance.
“Why isn’t it melting..?” You muttered to yourself. The recipe said to melt two tablespoons of coconut oil with half a cup of chocolate..
But that was according to your memory based off the recipe you’d researched at home. ‘It’s gotta be correct!’ you thought to yourself as you mixed the chocolate over a strong flame on the stove. Its consistency became clumpy, almost like a dough with the smell only becoming stronger. You anticipated that this might happen, so you made sure to open the windows and close the doors to the classroom so the smell wouldn’t travel throughout the hallways. You whipped your head around to see the doors to the classroom, just to make sure you’d closed them.
Instead, you were met with wide open doors, and locked-shut windows.
In your frenzy (or excitement?) you’d accidentally opened the doors and closed the windows.
Great going! Now the entire school has to smell your mistake. Though, at least you chose to begin after school, when at least most of the students would’ve left.
Panicking, you kept the mass of chocolate and coconut oil over the flame, waiting for it to melt. The burning smell was only faint - so you couldn’t tell whether or not it was completely ruined.
‘It’ll melt eventually!’ You thought.
As this all unfolded, someone’s voice yelped from behind you - from outside the classroom.
“What is that SMELL?!”
A familiar voice at that, but not the one you wanted to hear, not now of all times!
Turning off the heat, you threw a towel over the pot containing what was supposed to be chocolate, facing the door with an awkward smile.
“Hi, Tendo! Uh, don’t you have club right now?”
‘Please, please don’t come in…!’ Internal panic overtook you as the smile on your face shook.
His eyes narrowed as he held his nose, walking into the room. “I do.” He looked offended - like it was an issue you’d forced him to check out.
Before you knew it, he was standing beside you in front of the stove. His free hand menacingly hovering over the towel that covered your mess. Yanking it off, the two of you stared inside.
“Is that supposed to be ..chocolate?”
“…Yeah.”
He sighed dramatically as though to say ‘I guess I’ll just have to teach you then!’
Throwing the towel over his shoulder, he rolled up the sleeves of his jacket, asking you to hand him a few different things. A pot, measuring instruments, sugar, milk, different types of melting chocolates, piping bags? You felt like a sous chef!
In any case, he made sure to mention where you went wrong - the heat was probably too high, wrong ratio of coconut oil to chocolate, and a few other small mistakes that came together to make the abomination that had formed in the pot earlier. He told you not to worry, that these types of mistakes happen sometimes. How ironic - the person you had tried to make chocolate for was literally showing you how to do it.
Pouring the mixture into the moulds, he tapped it on the counter, getting rid of any air bubbles. He proceeded to re-pour the rest of the mixture out, leaving only a coating of chocolate inside of each circle. He explained that he’d now be putting filling inside the shells, then coating them again with more chocolate. He let you taste the fillings as he made them, offering you a spoon here and there.
As he mixed the caramel with the spatula, you asked why he wasn’t in practice, his club uniform suggesting that he might’ve been on the way to the gym.
“I was grabbing my bag from the classroom - I accidentally left it there.”
But he didn’t have his bag on him - meaning that he hadn’t even gotten to his class before walking by the kitchen classroom.
“Don’t you think they’re wondering where you are?” You questioned
“I’m sure they can wait.”
There was something about the way he spoke that made you giggle - you felt a certain sense of warmth that was unfamiliar to you.
Even though this was the first time you’d spoken to him, he was so kind, going out of his way to help you with something like this despite not even knowing your name.
Seeing how much you had struggled to do something he saw as so simple, he still didn’t make fun of you for it.
Lightly tapping the mould upside down, the small chocolates fell out, their shells decorated with a variety of different colours.
“See? It’s that easy.” He grabbed a piece and ate it. “Try one.” He suggested, his voice muffled by the food.
Taking one for yourself, you admired the sleek shape of the small sweet before popping it into your mouth. Smooth caramel filling oozed out, tingling the sides of your mouth and melting onto your tongue.
“It’s so good..!”
“I know, right?”
Though before you could lose yourself in the patissier-level sweets, you remembered what you were here to do initially.
“So, why did you wanna make chocolates to begin with?” He asked, taking another piece for himself. They were technically for him, anyways.
Walking towards your bag, you reached inside and took out a pre-decorated box alongside the letter you’d nervously written the day before. He watched as you lined the inside of the box with parchment paper, placing what remained of the chocolates inside, one by one. After closing the lid on-top, you laid the letter, encased within an envelope, onto the lid and tied a ribbon over and around the box.
“You’ll probably laugh at me for this,” You wryly held the box out to him, struggling to meet his gaze. “But this was supposed to be for you.”
“For me?” He laughed. “Wait, so like, you let me help you essentially make something for myself?”
You nodded. “It wasn’t supposed to go like this.” The corners of your mouth upturned in a shy smile.
He took the box from your hands as he continued laughing. “That’s so cute!”
‘Cute?’
‘No not me, maybe he was just joking around!’ you thought to yourself, looking down to hide the redness that washed over your cheeks.
He continued, “But why would you go out of your way for me like that?”
Instead of keeping your head down as you spoke, you decided to look him directly in the eye despite the warmth in your face.
“It’s in the letter. It took me a while to write last night, so if you could..”
“Read it?” His tone softened, the laughter leaving his voice. “Isn’t that what letters are for?”
You chuckled, brushing a piece of hair behind your ear. “Yeah, I know.”
He helped you clean up the kitchen; it was you who initially made the mess with the burnt chocolate and everything. You both laughed about how mad his team was going to be that he was so late to practice, and he insisted that maybe some of the messed up chocolate that you made would lighten the mood.
“…And once they smell it, they’ll all take off running.”
“It’s not a bug repellent, Tendo.”
“Hey! did you just call my teammates bugs?”

The Candy Man-Part Seven// W.W.
Tumblr media
Info/Warnings: fluff, referring to cum as "cream," male receiving oral sex-kinda graphic
Willy came back into the bedroom later on and spooned you under the covers, "Mae just needed her diaper changed. Mocha is still sleeping soundly." He gave you a tired yet sweet kiss on cheek.
"Thank you for checking on them." you said, taking a hold of his hand that rested at your waist.
"Don't thank me, I love taking care of them. They are my babies, after all. And they are so cute. They look exactly like their Mommy." he nuzzled his nose against your cheek.
"Oh no they don't," you argued, "they are your little clones." you yawned, scooting back further to nestle warmly against him, "I gave birth to mini Willy Wonkas."
"I never want to disagree with you on anything, honey, but you're wrong on this one. They are just like you." he cuddled you tighter, resting his head on you.
He would not let you win this one. You were telling the truth, you thought. Maple and Mocha had green eyes, dark chocolate hair that was starting to curl, and high cheekbones, but he would fight this until the very end.
........
Luckily, the next morning, you woke before Willy did. It was your turn to get the twins ready for the day, and you were glad to spend the time with them.
They were both awake when you arrived in the nursery, bright green eyes opened. They were happy to see you. You changed their diapers and got them into some cute clothes for the new day.
You carried them downstairs and sat and let them nurse for a little while until they were full. When they were done, you put them each in a baby seat with some toys and they were content. You pumped some extra milk and put it in a little jar in the refrigerator for Willy later.
You got to working on a pancake breakfast for you and Willy. You used some Wonka chocolate chips in them, of course. Before you knew it, you heard his footsteps coming down to the kitchen, looking well rested, but he had messy curls, of course.
"Awe, look at my little family." he cooed, kissing each of the babies on the cheek and making them giggle. "Daddy loves you so much." he sang, smiling at them with such joy. He came over to you, wrapping his arms around you as you flipped pancakes on the stove.
"Good morning, Daddy." you smiled, kissing his lips.
"Mm, good morning. Smells amazing in here, my love." he gave you a little peck on the lips before heading over to the coffee pot to pour himself a mug.
"There's some milk for your coffee in the fridge." you said, plating up some pancakes.
Willy looked at you, wide eyed and in disbelief.
You gave him a little wink.
He was speechless as he opened up the fridge and picked up the small jar with your creamy liquid in it. "Oh honey, thank you." he said, twisting open the jar and pouring the milk into his hot coffee mug. He saved the last little bit to drink directly from the jar, "Ahh, it's so good. No wonder the twins are so happy and healthy when they've got a diet based on your milk. They love it too."
"Well, Mr. Wonka," you began, handing him a plate of fresh, steaming flapjacks, "you might like my milk, but I want your cream at nap time, sir."
Willy's eyes nearly popped out their sockalets, "Oh, of course, my darling." he gulped as he took the plate from your hand.
You sat down and had breakfast together as you watched the babies play.
“Oh, babe, I’ve come up with an idea on how to boost your milk production.” he announced with his signature enthusiasm.
“Oh yeah? How’s that?”
“Well, I’ve read that it’s all about hydration, and coconut water is perfect. I’m going to come up with a drink for you to try. I’ll add strawberries and cream to the coconut water for sweetness.”
“Awe, Willy that’s so sweet. And if it’s good, maybe we can start making it for the shoppe. Along with other flavors!” it made you so happy when he fueled his creativity and imagination, “We could market to breastfeeding mothers, young children, the elderly, anyone that needs extra hydration.”
“That’s exactly what I thought too! An idea worth expanding upon. And speaking of expanding, which you and I have talked about with our business, I think we are going to need a factory. We have simply outgrown the chocolate shoppe. It's what we will need to share my chocolate with the world, y/n.” his eyes had the same ambitious gleam about them as the day you met him, just a young man trying to get the word out about his magnificent candy.
“Oh, wow, a whole factory. I love it, Willy. It sounds amazing.” you were in awe, “but where would we build it?”
“That’s the best part, I’m looking to buy that abandoned castle outside of town. It’s got great bones, y/n!”
“That’s great! And think of all the jobs it will provide to the community! Oh, honey, this is your best idea yet, I’m so happy.” you got up from you seat and hugged your handsome, smiling lover.
Willy kissed you and said, “I think this will be wonderful for our family, darling. If all goes well, Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory will be theirs to run one day.” he looked fondly at your twins. They chewed on their toys and jabbered gleefully back and forth.
“It will, my love. I know that you can achieve anything you set your mind to.”
“We, y/n. We can do anything, the four of us. We will have our very own chocolate empire.”
…….
The twins ate once more, and Willy put them down in their cribs for their nap. You practically dragged him by the collar and into your bedroom.
“It is so sexy seeing you come so alive when you speak of your dreams and ideas.” you said, unbuttoning his pants.
“Why thank you.” he said nonchalantly.
“I told you that I wanted your cream, Mr. Wonka, so you better give it to me.” you kneeled in front of him, taking his thick cock into your mouth.
“Mmm.” he moaned behind closed lips as you sucked him.
You slurped back and forth on his cock, bobbing your head. You loved how he filled your mouth and rutted his hips softly into the back of your throat. It was as if he was so excited that he couldn’t contain himself.
Willy brushed his fingers through your hair, keeping your locks out of your face while you pleasured him.
You let his cock plop out of your mouth, his deep pink tip leaking transparent cum. You slowly stroked his veiny shaft with your hands, and moved down, running your tongue over his balls. He was full, and ready to burst. You gently suckled at them before sliding your tongue along the underside of his cock. You teased his smooth tip with your puckered lips just a minute longer.
“Aww, here it comes. Take my cream, my love. It’s all for you.” Willy panted softly.
You opened your mouth, tongue flat out, ready to catch his stream. And he did not disappoint; his load was thick and plentiful, creamy yet salty. It was exactly what you’d been craving.

Chocolate pudding with fruit is a good birthday breakfast, right? Of course it is!
It's been a while since I did a halfassed recipe time. So here, have a recipe for a really tasty tofu chocolate pudding! (the kind of food that saves my life in the warm months when I can't stomach heavy foods but still crave ungodly amounts of protein [thanks, testosterone, you're a real bro])
So first you're gonna need a package of silken tofu. This is the base of your pudding. Can't make tofu pudding without silken tofu. Any kind is fine. The exact quantity is irrelevant because we're doing this all by feel, baby!
Toss your tofu into a blender with:
1/4 cup cocoa powder
sweetener of choice (I used 1/4 cup white sugar, but maple syrup and honey are also good choices. go light with the sugar to begin with. you can always add more later if you want)
pinch of salt
splash of vanilla
1/2 to 1 whole banana (very ripe) (optional)
1/2 to 1 whole avocado (very ripe) (optional)
melted bittersweet chocolate (optional)
cream, coconut milk, etc (optional)
I highly recommend the inclusion of both banana and avocado. they lend a creaminess and richness to the mouth feel for a pudding that would otherwise be a bit watery. If you only use one or the other, the pudding can end up tasting like them instead of like chocolate pudding, which can be disappointing, so both is best. If you don't have them/don't like them/whatever, then heavy cream is a good addition. Since I had both, I left the cream out.
Anyway, blend the absolute bjezus out of that, and then taste it to adjust seasonings. I decided that all this particular batch wanted another couple tbsp of sweetener. Pour it into a bowl, cover tightly, and refrigerate. The cocoa will bloom and the pudding will taste much better after a few hours or (like this bowl) overnight.
Eat it with fruit and/or whipped cream.
Survive the warm months.

Plave as mexican candy 🍭
My best friend @vania-ca, who sadly is not a Plli, always listens to me when I talk bout Plave and my posts for this blog, so she suggested a topic and even picked the candy for each member given the little knowledge she has gathered from me ✌🏽
Tumblr media Tumblr media
1. Noah/ Mazapán de la Rosa
Always the right choice, loved by everyone, this round and kinda dusty candy has a delicious and sweet flavor, perfect for the peanut lovers, getting it out of the package in one piece can be a challenge almost no one is able to do right cause it always crumbles lol, but is always a fun experience to try. Noah is always lovable, has a smooth and tender voice, and has a sweet personality, but not everything's easy with him, he likes to be always right, noslighting the members and laughs in a really funny way. But ofc, that's his charm.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
2. Yejun/ Pinta Azul
A lollipop flavored as raspberry, strawberry and blackberry, this one is the favorite of a lot of people, not just for the really nice choice for the taste but for the way they find funny to get their tongues colored blue, that's the reason for its interesting shape. Just like Yejun, its distinctive color is blue. It makes people want to stick their tongues out just like he does all the time(? He's fun and practical, sometimes chaotic, but you never get tired of him. Listening to him singing, leave the best aftertaste every time. It's just an overall nice experience.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
3. Bamby/ Alfajor de coco
Made of coconut, milk and sugar, this can be considered the sweetest of the five, is easy to recognize cause the top is pink and the bottom white, the consistency is dense, the flavor is not too strong but the sweetness can be a little bit overwhelming. Pink as bamby, for some people it can be as sweet as any candy or too intense, speaking of traditional candy is near the top of favorites, but is more popular between young people. Just like bamby gives a lot of vibes to be versatile, we can find a lot of presentations, huge packages of 500g, smol pieces, and slices. It depends on what you need. Like bamby, he can be a cutie, someone loud cause his scared or just cause he feels chaotic, the best dancer or a sassy friend.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
4. Eunho/ Pulparindo
The only spicy candy on the list, made of tamarindo pulp and covered with the thinnest coat of white sugar, this delicious candy is something not a lot of people can handle if they're not used to it (non mexicans lol), but once they are, it's easily a candy that can climb to the top in a blink. Eunho is not only a sweet and funny puppy, is sassy and flirty, straightforward, and ofc handsome and hot. His personality is loud and can be perceived as weird sometimes cause he is the only E in Plave, but if you understand the way he behaves, is indeed charming and cute.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
5. Hamin/ Jamoncillo
This is another traditional candy. Made of milk and sugar, the outside is firm, but is actually soft if you press or bite, can add or not, nuts or sprinkles, depending on the preference. The taste is sweet, not too much, the reminiscence of milk still lingers, but is smooth, the flavor is kinda burnt, in the best way possible. This one was picked for Hamin not only cause the beginning is almost a homophone lol, but cause this candy, once you tried it, you can never get enough and it's perfectly sweet. If you buy the one with sprinkles, nuts, the pink one, or the chocolate one, you can't fail, it's like there are one for every occasion. And it's the same with Hamin. He's good at everything, he is cute and funny, he raps, sings, dances amazingly and is full of so many charms that you always found something new. And of course, he at first is super shy, but once he finds enough confidence, it's easy to have a bond with him and realize he's a softie.
I put a lot of effort every time I write my posts, but this one really burned my brain, I never had the need to describe flavors or food in general in a language I'm not fluent 😭 and now i want candy 🥹
@vania-ca Thanks for the idea and for hearing all the yapping bout Plave 🥺💖 te voy a comprar el dulce que quieras 😚😉

2nd Day of Christmas
A Sweet Mishap
Summary/Prompt - Spilling hot chocolate/coffee/a hot beverage on the other and insisting on paying for a new drink and new clothes for them.
Pairing - Jensen Ackles x Reader
Christmas Masterlist | Masterlist
The Christmas pay is great, but dealing with the influx of customers – everyone in a rush to get their Christmas shopping and preparations finished – sucks. You’re well into the morning rush having made to your best estimate near a hundred coffees in just a few hours. You’re already exhausted and sick of people; many of whom have short tempers due to needing their daily caffeine hit ASAP. Somewhere around the 30th coffee you burnt your hand on the steamer and it has been in pain since, but you need the money so you ignore it and push on. Not that you’d have time to dwell on the pain even if you wanted to; the orders just keep piling up.
Peppermint Mocha Latte with extra whipped cream and crushed candy canes.
Gingerbread Latte with a sprinkle of cinnamon on top.
Chestnut Praline Frappuccino with caramel drizzle.
White Chocolate Peppermint Hot Chocolate with marshmallows.
Winter Wonderland White Hot Chocolate with white chocolate syrup.
Almond Joy Latte with coconut and almond flavours.
And so on and so on into oblivion. Maybe it’s your fault for choosing to work in a cafe that prides itself on its range of festive flavours. But despite the exhaustion, you serve every drink with a smile and never-dwindling love for the holidays.
Your steady pace and rhythm are jolted by your coworker getting into your personal space. “Come on Y/N! It’s time to switch, I can’t keep weaving through these crowds with hot drinks and dishes! I need space! Please!”
You add the finishing touches to the drink you’re currently working on and then nod at her. “Fine. I’ll deliver this one and go from there. Just start from the next hot chocolate there.”
She nods enthusiastically, pulls out a mug and gets started. You take the fancy hot chocolate out to table 5 as per the order card. You and your coworker, fall into perfect harmony quickly. She makes drinks and you deliver them seamlessly until a tall, well-built guy comes bursting through the doors straight in front of your well-worn causing you to dump an entire Peppermint Mocha Latte on him. The mug and saucer shatter on the tiles by his feet as your hands immediately cover your mouth to hide your embarrassment. But the shock quickly wears off as you jump into action, gathering napkins to wipe the mess while you apologise profusely. You don’t even look up at his face as you continue to attempt to clean out the stain.
“I am so so sorry! Whatever you want is on the house, I’ll cover it all. New shirt and jacket even. It’s all on me. I am so sorry, sir,” you ramble as you continue dabbing at the mess.
Noticing everyone’s eyes on the two of you and customers starting to get restless, he wraps his hands around your wrists to make you stop and look at him properly. “It’s no problem, really. It’s all good. I wanted a reason to buy a new shirt anyway.”
“Please, at least let me get you a coffee to go then.”
“To go?” He questions.
“Yeah, so you can go change.”
“But you did such a good job cleaning me up.” A blush sneaks onto your cheeks at his words. You hear your coworker calling you from behind the counter. “Sounds like you need to get back. Just surprise me with something when you get your break. But make sure you’re the one that makes and delivers it,” he says with a wink as he releases his grip on your wrists.
You quickly compose yourself as you rush over to grab a broom and mop to clean up the mess as your coworker attempts to manage the impatient customers.
After about half an hour the morning rush finally starts to die down and your other coworkers arrive for handover. You finish adding some whipped cream, chocolate powder and marshmallows on top of the white and milk chocolate peppermint mocha lattes you made and then untie your dirty apron. Thanking your coworkers you take the two festive mugs to the table in the corner where the now dry man is waiting patiently reading a newspaper. You place them down carefully on the table causing him to look up at you.
“I was starting to think you forgot,” he says.
“You kidding me? I still feel so bad, but it gets so busy here during the holidays.”
He takes a sip of the hot chocolate closest to him and then says, “I can see why. I’m used to straight black coffee, but I can get on board with this.”
As you go to take a sip from the other mug you get distracted by a bright flash from outside the window causing you to spill your drink all over yourself. Looking in the direction of the flash, the man jumps into action. He passes you some napkins and stands up.
“That’s my fault. Should’a known word would get out if I stayed here this long. That’s my fault,” he says apologetically.
“You nab at your now stained shirt and say, “I guess now we’re even.”
He slides a coaster across the table to you. “I’m so sorry.”
He shrugs his jacket on and walks away. After a second you go to call out and stop him but the door’s already closing behind him. You look down at the coaster and see a phone number written in neat handwriting. You slip it into your pocket and smile.

OOHOHOHO VERY GOOD and since we have similar taste imma need u to give us all recs or simply share all ur faves! I really wanted to order some again so i might as well ask an expert
alright let’s cover what bases we can . highlighting names for ppl who don’t want to read
for fruit tea i love the peach raspberry rose i use this one for iced tea too but i tend to leave it brewing in the fridge overnight for better flavour . very berry crush is the store best seller however .
. oh girl this is going to be long .
no added flavouring-
ok for black tea really depends on your strength preference my personal favourite is scottish breakfast (on the website as assam tgfop1 2nd flush ) i love assam its full bodied and malty it’s a single origin and anice alternative to english breakfast blends . darjeeling is a nice delicate black tea if you’re not a fan of super malty teas . indian origin teas are my favourite . margaret’s hope first flush darjeeling should be coming in soon too that’s a very exclusive tea only harvested in one area of the darjeeling province one month if the year so it’s very limited stock and £24 . returns every summer .
there’s japanese green teas we have genmaicha, gyokuro and sencha asigiri, as well as our classic green tea blend . personally i like genmaicha .
speciality teas we also have formosa jade oolong and silver needle white tea but the STAR of the show is milk oolong. she’s so phenomenal she’s £19 but she’s a gorgeous high altitude oolong delicate and creamy texture with buttery caramel notes its one of the best taiwanese teas i’ve ever had
fruity
black tea? piccadilly blend - strawberry rose and lotus flower . lovely fruit and floral blend with a delicate black tea base . her sister is covent garden blend which is black tea with peach and apricot with safflower and marigold petals . blood orange crush is also so so so good and has dried blood orange chunks in it it’s fierce
green- CHERRY BLOSSOM !!! she’s so gorgeous she’s a large leaf green tea with sakura petals and the most delectable a cherry scent and flavour i literally make samples of this for anyone i can it’s so so so good . mango and bergamot is probably the best seller tho
other- peach oolong she’s fierce . it’s pretty sweet and it’s such a fragrant tea literally it’s so good . we recently got in coconut oolong too which is limited edition it’s been pretty popular
floral
black - english rose is a classic . black tea with rose and slightly sweet too . orange blossom is good with the cute citrusy notes and fragrance
not many for green tbh but for other there’s a chelsea garden white tea which we recently just got in teabags which is white tea with rose (i like the rose teas)
spices/herbal
black tea- chilli chai is one of my all time faves but be careful bc the chilli really does hit the back of your throat if you’re not expecting it but it’s so warm and comforting . rhe classic spiced chai is a good alternative it’s your standard masala black tea and it’s really good on cold and rainy days especially.
for no caffeine there’s a few herbal mainly on the w wall in the large loose leaf caddies but if you ask for cinnamon vanilla chai or turkish apple or vanilla honeybush and orange they’re some of my favourites . there’s some rooibos if ur into that but i think only rainforest rooibos and blueberry rooibos are available
i don’t drink coffee so we are skipping that .
hot chocolate
for milk chocolate i think salted caramel (tastes like a crunchy) and cookies and cream (tastes like oreos) are my fave . coconut is limited edition and the best seller rn
for white . sticky toffee pudding is the way to go . raspberry ripple if also fierce it tastes like melted raspberry ripple ice cream
for instant teas
we got a bunch of new ones in and they’re all really fierce. lychee and rose, sour cherry and cranberry raspberry. literally cannot go wrong with any of them . turkish apple is my fave from the regular line
i think that’s it

Hey there!
Today I got up at 9:30 am
My bf told me he fell asleep at 3 am and that while I was sleeping, I moved in a weird way, that sent his phone from the covers right to his face
Poor boy, I feel so sorry
I ate one rice cake with milk chocolate and some coconut, I love them so much
After breakfast, we saw the new trailer for the newest season of Wakfu, and now we're watching some more Dr House
I don't know what I'll eat for lunch, but I know that I'll eat some pizza for dinner. There's a kebab place that makes wonderful pizzas, so full, so tasty
I feel happy
:)

hi! do you know any good baking recipe that doesn't use milk and that an idiot can make by any chance? I trust you more than I trust google
honestly i feel like a majority of the things i bake don't include milk, although it's true i don't avoid it despite being lactose intolerant >.> anyway this is a vague request so im giving many suggestions to cover all my bases
1. lots of cakes are very simple to make and use water and/or oil instead of milk and/or butter (if butter is an issue for u also), especially chocolate cakes/cupcakes like this. and then id just go with store bought frosting tbh
2. cookies are pretty easy and dont require any milk. if dairy in general is the issue there are still looots of recipes out there like this one that use oil instead and come out perfectly fine. alternatively, cookie bars! even easier than cookies! and one step further is brownies, which usually use oil anyway
note that with all of these it is sooo so essential to either measure out ur flour on a scale or gently spoon it into ur measuring cup and then level it with a knife, u never want flour packed tightly in a measuring cup
3. im also thinking abt rice krispie treats! super versatile, my favorite way is smth like this but u can get so creative and cut out fun shapes and shit. make it as fancy or lowkey as u want. i enjoy mixing in some mini mallows at the very end after the cereal so u get a bite of just marshmallow sometimes. truly the hardest part for me is washing the pan afterwards lmao
4. in that same no-bake vein, i love melting chocolate (sometimes with peanut butter, sometimes without) and mixing in literally whatever cereal i want then forming little piles and letting them set. to this day the best ones i ever made used the fiber one cereal but chex works great too. there are recipes for these but measure with ur heart tbh.
5. if u want something like that but with baking maybe macaroons? dipped in chocolate usually? only if u like coconut ofc
6. banana bread is typically easy, as are most quick breads like it. usually the only dairy in banana bread is butter but replacing with oil is perfectly fine, just use a recipe like this that's meant to have oil
however at the end of the day if a recipe calls for plain old milk it's usually perfectly fine to substitute a nondairy milk. if it calls for cream or butter or yogurt those can be harder to substitute without affecting texture or flavor. and remember google can still be your friend! i am fully reliant on looking up recipes for almost everything i make lmao it's just about finding one that prioritizes my goals for the final product and is within my means to make

so a lil fun fact about me is that a) im lactose intolerant and b) i love a lot of like, winter baking and beverages.
hot chocolate, fudge, whipped cream on stuff, caramel, all sorts of chocolate goods etc.
and these are all made with milk.
and over the years, ive approached this dilemma a few ways, which i've narrowed done to 3 possible options (for me).
1: abandon allhope and just get it fromt he grocery. just suck up any lactose pills or whatever. i generally... don't love doing this.
1.5 is to look for the vegan options of these items at the store, which are VERY hit and miss. this is true of all foods.
2: make everything from complete scratch. hot chocolate is really just chocolate/cocoa and sugar and milk, so pull out the pan and get cooking. fudge is a somewhat tight process, butyou can get lactose free cream and make it in the traditional way from scratch. same goes for caramel. just whip up the lactose free cream with your mixer and woo! whipped cream. the problem here is that while these are great for special occasions when i have time, all of these take so much time and make a lot of mess to clean and are pretty pricey too.
however, there is a third option.
3: COCONUT. of every type of nut or plant milk i've ever had, and of just. normal lactose free milk, when it comes to byproducts like sweetened condesned milk, milk powder, whipped cream in a can, there's not. really anything. in my actual life in an irl grocery store i've only ever seen soy milk powder, and it wasn't good to just drink. EXCEPT FOR COCONUT. COCONUT HAS YOU COVERED. IF YOU OR A LOVED ONE CANNOT HAVE MILK, I HOPE YOU LIKE COCONUT CUZ COCONUT IS HERE. FOR. YOU.
there's coconut milk powder, there's coconut sweetened condesned milk, there's coconut evaporated milk even now, that one was new last i went to the store, there's coconut whipped cream in the can! just coconut but it's covering the hell out of an untapped market.
and thus, as winter draws ever nearer, so too does the age of consistent coconut flavoured winter food and drink.

listen to me. if you wanna make packet hot chocolate taste like cafe quality, you just gotta add a few simple ingredients. first off make it with milk. cow's is best, followed by coconut and almond. oat and rice milk are also good. if you can't, add a tablespoon of nondairy creamer to it. youre gonna add enough cinnamon to cover most of the surface of the milk, a shake of nutmeg, a shake of clove, and then a small dash of cayenne pepper. just a little line of red on all those nice spices. listen. i know cayenne pepper sounds counterintuitive. its spicy. listen to me. the casein and fats in milk (fats and starch in nondairy milk) will neutralize the spice of the cayenne, so all you get is this nice burst of warmth that follows a sip of the chocolate. the end result is a mug of microwave choccy thatll blow you away

Someone's left a couple gift boxes on the IDB's counter, although it's been a while since this particular gifter has been around. There is a note attached to the larger of the two boxes -- "Merry Christmas, Ichisada! Felt like making a few things, so I broke out my grandmother's rum cake recipe and made some truffles with the fruits I've been harvesting. Make sure Osamu gets some of the truffles, too -- I've marked which ones are made using what fruits, whether I used real or coconut milk, and the type of chocolate. Pink fillings are mostly sweet, and yellow are mostly sour, and they have a number of other positive effects!" It seems Maria broke into her stash of Pokemon realm Berries to make these.... (@portalwalker)
@portalwalker
The IDB generally doesn't take kindly to foreign objects left inside it, nor does it like being used as a courier service... but 'tis the season.
A portal large enough to encase the packages appears beneath the presents, and they slowly sink into it. Appearing the way they left the IDB onto Ichisada's kitchen counter in her apartment before she wakes up.
When she does wake up, she's confused, initially. But after looking over the note Ichisada quickly puts two and two together and understands how they got here in the first place. (And what a nice note it is! Writing down all the ingredients used like those fancy chocolates you only seem to get at Christmas-- how considerate!)
There's initially a bit of guilt as she realizes that she doesn't have a gift for Maria.. but there's no time limit on presents, surely there was a different cultural Christmas that she can use as a cover!
As she samples a truffle, she recalls the taste being something similar to what Sixer had brought her some time ago.. ah. Those were pretty good! What were they called? Peech... Paatcha? Ah, she'll ask Maria when she gets the chance.
Tumblr media
Regardless, the treats are put in the fridge for safe keeping with a smile as Ichisada thinks of her friend. Osamu can try one once he wakes up.
