Little bit of writing practice, soul eater beastars au episode one

Soul opened his mouth to apologize, but instead inhaled soapy water, wool soaking through in seconds as he sunk below the surface. The soap obscured his vision, thankfully, not that he would want to peep on her, but the startled sheep had his eyes opened when he sunk under. He let out a muffled cry from fur and soap, before scrambling out of the bathtub halfway and heaving up water.

A sharp kick was delivered to his head as Maka nimbly jumped through the now broken window as well, scolding him for being a pervert, despite her own flushed cheeks. Soul flopped uselessly out of the tub, wet wool making him heavy and unable to maneuver.

“Witch Blair, we’re here to take your soul!” Maka declared, pointing at the woman who was wheezing in pain. “Are… you okay?” Maka stopped for a second, feeling a little awkward.

“Ugh, your little friend broke something with that hard head of his. He’s lucky he’s so cute!” She hissed, climbing out of the tub and shaking off, spraying water everywhere as Maka closed her eyes with a yelp. She heard the swoosh of fabric and opened them, to see the witch fully clothed and completely dry, with a sour look on her face and ears pinned.

“Can you turn into a scythe now?” Maka hissed at the wet lump of fur that was her partner.

“Working on it…” he said, raising his head before in a flash of light, he transformed, Maka wielding him with a flourish.

Day 66: Dream (Silver Week day 1)

It’s Silver week!! (Thanks again to @speeding-fox for finding the prompts for me!! That was so nice of you!!) Silver and Amy are my two fav Sonic characters so I’m just gonna take Silver week to draw my fav two charas together for a week.

Uh…if that’s ok? The point is to appreciate Silver so maybe this isn’t fair to Silver?? If you guys think I shouldn’t let me know.

tbh I couldn’t for the life of me pick a color palette I liked And Render it so I gave up on color. Enjoy the half assery.

Tbh I’ve just been call it Ithacan Naga, but it’s objectively it’s a mix of snake, owl/bird, and human. So 🤷.

Tbh the wings are supposed to be white/gray-brown, cause owls & Hermes, while his scales are supposed to be an oscillating scale from sea green-blue to purple-tinted gray. Uhm. Evidently that sorta didn’t happen but also did. So.

The purple/grayer scales are gonna be more around with the feathers and wings.

Those fin colors are. Too blue and too bright but I love the colors themselves so they’re staying for now.

Uhm. That’s it for now, ig. I’m sorta on a timer rn and I’m tired so <3

My favorite thing about her is her character. At least to me, she’s like a ghibli protagonist…she makes the wrong decisions, she doesn’t always get things right, but she’s noble and is always doing what she thinks is expected of her. She is very sweet & wears her heart on her sleeve even if she doesn’t realize it💔 I hope I can show her growth as the story goes on😭💓

At the same time, it’s kind of my least favorite thing as well. She can be REALLY frustrating to me bc she doesn’t make the same decisions I would😤 I sometimes write her accepting things that happen to her, or going along with things that are detrimental bc it’s what she thinks she should be doing, AND IT’S PAINFUL !!!!!! I JUST WANT TO SHAKE SOME SENSE INTO HER !!!!! But then I remember how stupid I was at sixteen…remembering that *I* survived my teens somehow & I was WAY worse than she is and learned my lesson😆😆 and I’m like…she will be fine😌

I was thinking about the idea of redesigning Dark Cacao (mostly because of the shoulder pads), and honestly, why didn’t they give him the Oreo shoulder pads from his beta?

I mean I guess the justification for his diamond shoulder pads is that they add more of that shape into his design, and the rest of his design is extremely angular so the curved Oreos might have clashed, but still

I think it would have been a way to tie back into Dark Choco’s design, and this particular shape of his shoulder pads is different and looks like it belongs to some above Dark Choco, like his father. So it’s tying in while being distinct

And considering Dark Choco’s like, the only character (at least as far as I can remember) who wears those Oreo pads, maybe it could be like a family thing

Like I don’t really see much of a point to getting rid of them, they would have worked great. And now I want to give Dark Cacao Oreo shoulder pads in headcanon designs
