So first things first, Willow ressurected Buffy which ended up leading to Warren trying to kill Buffy, and with that Tara died. This doesn't mean Taras death is Willows fault, it just kinda happened, like Tara would've survived if they had decided to go out for icecream, they were both just really unlucky.

When Buffy was shot things weren't looking that good for her. Like she may have slayer healing but she was shot in the chest. Slayer healing probably only really kept her alive for as long as she did so she didn't die imediatly like Tara.

Because Tara died, Willow absorbed all the books and went dark. Now more powerful than ever, she saved Buffys life, since we've espablished Buffys life was actually in serious danger.

Meaning if that bullet had missed Tara, Buffy might've died instead. And Willow would've lost one of them either way. But since Buffys ressurection ultimatly caused Taras death, Taras death also then ultimatly caused Buffys survival.

Its a life for a life.

And Willow accidentally ended up chosing Buffys life over Taras that day when she ressurected her.

Felix berated his own idiocy because only a true moron would request space from someone as understanding as Isabella Belcourt, then obsessively scour their phone for any notification from her. Of course, she honored his request with the grace of a saint, not even her name popping up under his stories. Just a week of separation might seem like nothing in the grand scheme of things, but for Felix, it served as a stark reminder of her absence. A dull ache gnawing away. If anything, it only proved him right. They were abysmal at being exes. And he was glad for it, not wanting them to suddenly be efficient at parting ways. Regret had become his shadow ever since he sent the stupid text, worse than when he used the wrong "your" in a group chat.

Avoidance became his faithful companion for the week after Paris, following him even back to the corridors of Asphodel where it finally scampered away. It wasn't only avoidance from the institute's attempt at helping him but Felix wished to avoid the conversation with Bella, despite how boldly he claimed they needed to have it. He lingered down the hallway by her office, conveniently early for his own therapy session. He half expected to find her door firmly shut while she worked, or to perhaps catch the faint sound of her melodic voice through the walls. To his surprise, the door was wide open once he reached it. The curious sight of a box perched on her desk, full of the personal touches she decorated the space with.

Oh shit, did I make her leave? Panic momentarily raised within Felix, until his rational thoughts perked up just a second later. No, obviously not. She's not hysterical. His shoulders eased from the slight tension and he made himself at home in the vacant office, gaze sweeping over the leftover art and cheesy puns she somehow found hilarious. His thoughts were soon interrupted by the familiar sound of her approaching steps, making Felix turn to greet her once she reached the office. A mischievous grin instantly touched the corner of his lips as he saw her and he gestured lazily to the box on her desk. "Did I say something?" he teased with a mutter before he lifted the small frame from the nearby wall. "Or did having to look at this every day finally break you?" Felix added as he carefully added it to the box before returning to a more sincere demeanor.

"Where are they moving you to?" he asked with genuine curiosity and his glance landed to the array of plants she had lined up ready for departure. A look of appreciation for the way she arranged them by size. Felix took it upon himself to hoist the box under one arm and snagging one potted plant with his other hand, lifting it to take a closer look. "Oh, you saved this one." he observed the flourishing growth before he glanced back to Bella. "Grew fast. Thank God you didn't know me when I was a kid. I'd be eight feet tall by now." Felix quipped, gesturing with a nod of his head for her to lead the way. "I know I said...about space but if you've been promoted I...would've liked to have been kept in the loop so I could say congratulations."

A question did you plot your Taryn X ghost fic aka outline it or just wrote it and let the story come to you?

I'm a methodological pantser (thanks ellen brock for helping me realize my writing process is not crazy ✨) so I started with a very loose idea of: (1) where I wanted the characters to start, (2) where I wanted them to end, and (3) big developments that needed to happen along the way. all the little details came together in the process of writing, revising, re-outlining, restructuring, then rewriting. that might sound wild haha but it's just how my brain works—so yes I had a plan, but my outline was very bare bones to begin with & became more fleshed out as I wrote!

What do you hc are some of utena & anthy’s specific n mundane favorite things about each other?

I.e Utena having a subconcious habit of always circling a couch once before she plops down on it to watch tv, or anthy’s hands often smelling like the specific brand of cat food that anthy swears by even though there’s no difference between it and the rival brand, and how anthy’s improved a good bit at cooking since ohtori, but for the life of her she can never manage to fully manage frying eggs, so the edges are always a bit burnt when utena eats them, and utena’s taken up wood working n carpentry as hobbies, and she ends up seeming to trail the slightest bit of wood shavings everywhere, with a habit of having one hand gloved and the other not so she can do whatever it is she took a break from the wood working for

aww i love all those examples :)) i actually included that exact thing about the burnt eggs in one of my fics, so that's a fun coincidence. here are some more:

anthy has a habit of humming songs she likes while doing any of her hobbies (painting, writing, cooking/baking, gardening, etc etc) and even though it's always slightly out of tune, utena loves listening to it

utena has a habit of falling asleep on the floor in the exact same way their cat does which anthy finds both funny and endearing

utena loves anthy's laugh more than anything in the world, especially because she was so unused to hearing it back in ohtori

just in general she appreciates anthy's openness, whether she's rambling abouta cute bug she saw or expressing her annoyance at someone she had to interact with earlier (even when that someone sometimes is utena herself.)

she also always enjoys it when anthy is really passive aggresive to people neither of them like. they can both be kinda mean and petty sometimes, but usually it's to people who deserve it

anthy likes the feeling of the callouses on utena's hands when she holds them. there's a scar on the back of her hand that she likes running her thumb over

utena talks in her sleep occasionally (kind of canon already) and sometimes it wakes anthy because she's a light sleeper. she thinks it's sweet, if a little annoying at times

when anthy concentrates really hard on something she gets this expression on her face that utena finds adorable

anthy thinks utena's clumsiness and tendency to trip over things is cute
