I’ve only had one cat in my life, and she’s a sweet little shorthair, so I don’t think I quite comprehended how much fur was between malice’s toebeans til I just saw that video. why does she need all that fluff? doesn’t stuff get stuck in it?? and most importantly, why can’t I bury my face in what is sure to be the MOST soft and fluffy tummy, if that’s just the fuzz on her paws???

They're snowshoes! Malice is a double-coated longhair, and that means her coat is naturally suited to keeping her warm in cold weather. The tufts between her beans are there to protect those sensitive areas from cold, snow and ice, which they do quite well when she goes out to the aviary to chase snowflakes. Often, when I bring her in, I hold her in one arm for a while while I hold her peets in my other hand, to warm them up and melt any ice off. She likes it. Her curly belly is for burying your face in and she will let people do that. She's extremely soft and fluffy and she has just enough fat that she feels squishy the whole way through.

what device/software do you use to draw?

Krita is the drawing program I use, and my tablet is a HUION USB pen tablet! which i will advocate for bc its the first drawing tablet I've ever gotten and it works great. I've had it for like. eight years now? and its still in the same condition it was when i got it. also I want to say it was like 20 dollars, which is pretty good as far as drawing tablets go

Might not seem like it, but I've been going through a mini burn out spell due to overworking myself the past week and allowing myself to create messy sketches of this fic has been a small comfort. Kinda obsessed by the concept of dream not being able to feel deep negative emotions. What if someone dies? He can't mourn them. But he'll remember the good memories he had with them amplified. He'll always miss them like a friend gone away.

What about Nightmare? He's the opposite. He can't feel love. Why does he try to keep his gang around as much as he can? Why doesn't he let them get killed or kill themselfes? It's not love. But if it is not why does he cry when one of them inevitably dies? Why does his stomach turn at the thought of replacing them? Why does he start to choke on his goop? What happened?

And Dream feeling for his brother? He misses him. He wants him back and he doesn't hate nightmare for everything he'd done to all those monsters, he just wants him back.

So what happens once all nightmare underlings unevitably die? What happens once it's dream and ink against nightmare? When he's all alone and bitter as ever?

I'm on an OC kick and also super indecisive so I spun a wheel (thank you for choosing for me, RNG).

Ricardo is a body guard and is bffs with Marlo. Ricardo's current job is watching after a celebrity's daughter who the public doesn't know even exists. She's just a teenage girl vibing with her mom and getting texts and calls from her dad (who loves her a whole lot and keeps her out of the spotlight very purposefully) and has this bodyguard and his weird friend. Marlo is just vibing with his best friend.

(Also Marlo would absolutely laugh if he heard Ricardo say "someone called me eye candy and it wasn't you and now I think you should call me that")
