I am itching to re-do a DCU/SU crossover honestly (use more DCU knowledge to avoid prev fanon I wrote, sigh), but that's a ramble for another day, but OMG? Steven and Mark are truly the galaxy alien hybrid children with the fucked up world conquering planets! My brain is buzzing. I think I can see myself going for a oneshot when they happen to meet each other and just end of vibing, talking through stuff only the other can relate to? Hating and loving their parents. Wondering how well they knew them, if at all. The weight of world on your shoulders. Steven, at the end of being a savior, with Mark on the start for much more fuckery. Odd for the both of them, I think, to see yourself in another person. I have no idea what POV I'd go for, I'd brush up on SUF some more?

I think I'd wanna avoid post-SUF Steven stumbling into / helping out / meeting Teen Team since that's too typical for me, I've read that routes similar to that for crossovers way too much. (￣︿￣)

Though, there's something so delicious about the idea that during the Nolan Vs Mark one sided parental smack down (s1), Steven, whose incidentally in the city, somehow manages to throw up a shield for the guy his age getting slaughtered. A New Player Has Entered the Game, lmao! Steven (post-SUF) who can't ignore this kid dying because what the fuck, Mark trying to stop his Dad and stopping this stranger because oh no Dad is going to kill you too, and Nolan because what the fuck who is this motherfucker intruding? Or, does Nolan recognize fellow colonizing empire, depending on how well known Gem-specific abilities like Light Project Shields are? No idea! Chewing on this, currently. Just crossover during one of the most pivotal plot moments for the show makes me cackle. Have your breakdown beat down with a third wheel ♡♡♡ The more unhinged the crossover idea the more I foam at the mouth.

Though there is something tickling me so bad about Steven and Nolan incidentally meeting, with Nolan recognizing a very crucial, high honored member of the now collapsed empire turned "soft", (because of him, specifically,) meanwhile Steven just seeing some hero staring into his soul, like okay sir, leave me alone? Like is Nolan too emotionally constipated to ask how does an empire turn its back to its origins, despite how "weak" that is, even though Nolan must have pondered the very same idea, at least for himself.

It just makes me question how the Great Diamond Authority and Viltrum Empire operated if they ever crossed, like, I'm sure they heard of each other. In Invader Zim, follow me, I think different colonizing empires ended up agreeing to split the universe and focused on different sectors to colonize, but I'm sure the Viltrum Empire wouldn't agree to something like that? Maybe they've never crossed paths? Making Steven's appearance, to Nolan, alarming? Only to find out about the peaceful era? Intrigued if Nolan does let it slip to the GDA/GoG what Diamonds do, as an opportunity to see how earth's forces operate against a colonizing threat, meanwhile they've been in their peaceful era and Steven is just trying to vibe. Cause while Steven and Mark are obvious parallels, Steven as a arguable symbol of an empire capable of ceasing, something unimaginable to Nolan, also intrigue me so bad.

Then there's also Greg and Debbie capable of bonding over having a relationship with someone who did so much more than you thought, and having to kinda deal with that. I don't know how well they'd get along, but the capability of understanding would be appreciated, I think?

Day 22: Paint -> Creative Arts AU

i have a couple of modern aus which are more or less all slice of life aus, and this one's just the trope of artist/artist so i don't need to explain much. main difference beyond that is that night is just not goopy LMFAO

i do wanna add that dream is also featured here because. its coldsunset poly (im dating both of em) for all the aus, its just a highlight on me and night bc of the prompt theme (note: my interpretation of dream is she's transfem and uses any pronouns fyi)

Day 23: Foolish -> Swapped!Medieval AU

now the medieval smoothie au has Much More Lore this time, especially since we've revamped it recently. it's gotten to the point of au-ception. because we're insane. in fact, this isn't the only swap au we have (i coined it as the Scales Swapped Timeline) and i might even draw the other swap (Royal Swap TL) if the opportunity arrives :]

the gist of this is that night swaps with dream! me and gillan (the fairy in the art) still work in dream's kingdom, its just that there's an excess of positivity instead of negativity. this leaves her kingdom oversaturated in positivity that they can't even process loss or any sort of negative emotions- and night can't be close to her because he starts to physically hurt (possibly even start dying) from the positivity, which forces him out the kingdom.

his crown is one of the few things he has that came from what is now dream's own kingdom (it doesn't fit him well, but he can't bare parting with it). i'm the one of the first to seek him out to try and improve kingdom relations in hopes of recovering the balance.

there's a lot to unpack there.

Day 24: Royalty -> Original Medieval AU

WE ARE SO BACK and i am enjoying this revamp to the fullest rn !!! we r embracing this fully by attempting to ocify the extended smoothie poly by humanizing designs and adding a bit more fantasy elements into the world. that's why most of these have human and skeleton variants btw (this will be a theme in my art)

the apple twins? dragon hybrids now. me and gillan? shapeshifter and fairy respectively. oh, and the lil' tiefling kid that present time night was reminded of when seeing his past self? that's the adopted kid in the new lore post-truce hehe. i didn't write it properly but "the person" that young passive says is meant to be "the person we love"

i would like to blame gillan for pushing the thought of a child into the au i am now very much attached to the child (their name won't be revealed yet tho). they're a young knight in training that just stuck to me and never left and now they got a whole ass family. w development

it's never not interesting to explore night's character with the au, i just love the dynamic we have despite the complicated history.

Vyncent: lore wise his planet is mostly fractured, causing it to basically be a bunch of floating islands with and atmosphere and such, so i was like heehh why not bird him yk? alot of the details are still elf like but like he has talons and shit because of course, it's not shown but a species trait on everyone of his species is infact having slits on their back, even if the person does not have wings for any reason. outfit wise the main thought was..spaceship?? suit?? practical??? i forgot to draw it but he has so many fucking pockets its genuinely insane, like there are pockets on his *sleeves* (that are usually unusable because he likes em rolled up:])

Ashe: i kept him *mostly* just a guy because its important to his story i think...but you see. aliens. so shes actually based on a species i made a long time ago that is effectively just space fish, he's specifically a type of space fish based on the purple emporer tetra!! they specifically didn't get very many visual or physical differences, and is very much on the low end of visual differences, shes the most humanoid like ever. outfit wise i made it mostly diff than the others, the others have relatively similar outfits that correlate to the tactical being in space vibe, but theirs is very oddly human, despite humans being intensely rare

(space fish stuff is basically just creatures similar to fish from earth or prime but evolved to take literally any amount of oxygen anywhere, including space, wnd turn it into something they can breath)

Dakota: hes vaguely dinosaur adjacent? except. alot of the genes show through via internal organs and strength, though his skin is alot rouguer and has some scales on certain joints and such nd also has intensely sharp teeth, outfit wise i wanted it to be something he could move around in well as well as something that appears as close as possible to the expectation of what hes supposed to wear while working, because he wants to meet that expectation so so much, but he can't, because its not reachable for him? yeah i made his outfit have angst what about it:3

general species lore wise there's a planet which creatures somewhat genetically similar to dinosaurs reside, however they're also alot smaller and beefier, and the planet is vaguely desert like, so they've got water storage and such!! yeah i know alot about evolution mhmhm definitely

William: hes got layers. many. he effectively went through a species change? his planet is ecologically very similar to earth and prime, except they have. basically cryptids, the planet is so intensely fucked up, theres shadow creatures that nibble on you and you just kinda gotta live with that, and he was like that, his species could go invisible and hide in the shadows. HOWEVER, the horrors, he died and got cooler:3 when experincing intense emotions or in immediate danger, he will go progressively more intangible and grow less opaqe, depending on the severity, starting from the hands and legs. design wise i just thought the jacket was cool lmao there was no thought. also i thought a tail with wispy fire looked cool so. yeah i put thought into the others, he js looks like that

Lore Stuff and Timeline as of 3.4

Important Concepts

Lygus

Lygus is confirmed to be an Erudition Pathstrider seeking to forge Destruction. As I've Written mentions a "Society ID" so it's implied he is in the Genius Society. No hints towards whether it's one we know or an unidentified Genius.

Scepters

Scepters were planet sized supercomputers made to emulate Erudition's thoughts by Rubert II during the Second Mechanical Emperor's War. According to Lygus, at birth, these Scepters became part of Nous the Erudition's cognition, until THEY later forsook them all.

According to Lygus, the Scepters continued to calculate the answer to what the "prime mover of life" was even after being discarded.

[Possibly up to interpretation] In 3.4, it is implied that the Scepter containing Amphoreus calculated "Destruction" to be the answer after Lygus' adjustments, and having done so, was reborn as a Lord Ravager by Nanook.

Irontomb

Originally the Scepter known as "δ-me13", having calculated Destruction to be the "prime mover of life", the Scepter became "true life" after being gazed upon by Nanook and becoming a Lord Ravager. Despite this, it is not fully formed and still stuck running its program.

The "Appendix: Feedback" entry seems to imply that Lygus copies various phases of Irontomb's calculations and deploys them through the cosmos to test their efficacy as Destruction. These equations spread throughout the cosmos are what the IPC interpreted as Irontomb, but they are not Irontomb itself.

Amphoreus

Amphoreus as we know it is a deep-learning program for the black tide [up to interpretation] which is Irontomb itself to complete the equation of "Destruction" and be fully born as a Lord Ravager.

Edit: Amphoreus and the Scepter containing it are extremely concealed from the cosmos solely to not draw the attention of Polka Kakamond as she would no diff Lygus

Chrysos Heirs and Titans

The Chrysos Heirs and Titans are factors, or you could think of them as variables or data, introduced into the program of Amphoreus to simulate the Pathstriders and Aeons respectively. They of course, all die as part of Irontomb's calculation of all Paths ending in Destruction.

The program has the Chrysos Heirs inherit Coreflames to iterate and improve, and then finally end in Destruction to refine Irontomb's Destruction Equation.

Both Chrysos Heirs and Titans as "factors" started exhibiting Golden Blood after Nanook first gazed at Irontomb.

Timeline

Evolution of Amphoreus

(Note: These are NOT the Cycles Phainon went through. See the Eternal Recurrence section for more.)

The Scepter had to simulate life from literal scratch, beginning with cellular-sized automata until it evolved to humanity, then the Amphoreus we know today. The most important cycles were:

Cycle 19,110,218 - Amphoreus is altered to allow its people to cause it to cycle

Cycle 28,371,272 - Amphoreus completes its first successful iteration, or first reaches Era Nova

The Eternal Recurrence

Some number of cycles that I do not know after the last one I mentioned, from here on begins the story of Phainon's cycles. I will henceforth refer to these 33,550,036 cycles as "ER Cycles"

ER Cycle 0 - This is the cycle Lygus narrates and brings us to witness. We take the role of Phainon's Hero Within, basically his idea of an ideal hero, however there was no one actually there, what Phainon placed on the scales was not literally Trailblazer, but his idea of an ideal hero, along with the Deliverer card.

The Chrysos Heirs we know, including Phainon and Cyrene are at the very end of their Amphoreus journey, and return to the Vortex of Genesis to return the Coreflames of Time and Worldbearing, only for Lygus to reveal that they will be absorbed by the black tide/Irontomb if they do so and become part of Destruction

Cyrene realises the reveal is a manipulation for them to not find out that other Aeons can gaze at Amphoreus. Having dreamt about Fuli, [Up to interpretation] Cyrene uses the power of Rememberance and Time to imbue her ceremonial blade with the power to reset THIS ONE CYCLE containing all our Chrysos Heirs, Phainon, and Cyrene back to Aedes Elysiae. This goes on for 33,550,037 cycles.

ER Cycle 1 - Phainon, now Khaslana, returns to Aedes Elysiae and has a schizo talk with his Hero Within. He leaves his Hero Within behind as he resolves himself to embrace Destruction to save Amphoreus. He meets Hysilens, Aglaea, Tribbie, and eventually Cerydra, and singlehandedly takes all the Coreflames, but he can still only reset this cycle.

ER Cycle 2 to 133 - Khaslana starts losing his mind and the idea of making sure his companions live starts to lose its weight.

ER Cycle 134 - Khaslana asks Anaxa for help, only to be rebuked by Cipher and Anaxa for becoming too detached from humanity. Of course, he takes all the Coreflames and regresses again.

ER Cycle 5297 - Lygus turns off notifications for Khaslana going insane

ER Cycle 108642 - Mydei as Nikador boss fight

ER Cycle 2,003,432 - Castorice as Pollux boss fight

ER Cycle 4,000,001 - Khaslana realises the only thing that can actually save Amphoreus is an external variable. Khaslana also realises this original him will eventually crumble to dust, finds out that he can just have the newborn Phainon inherit his memories and mission.

ER Cycle 23,570,000 - Hyacine boss fight. Hyacine tells Khaslana that his flaw of perfection is the most fatal flaw of all, having no chance of ever being himself.

ER Cycle 33,550,036 - THIS IS WHERE 3.0 TO THE START OF 3.4 TAKE PLACE. Specifically, 3.0 to 3.3 play out, Phainon enters the Vortex leaving behind DH and TB, TB returns to help Phainon, Lygus forces TB to watch ER Cycle 0, then Phainon kills Flame Reaver AKA Khaslana

Phainon dreams of Aedes Elysiae after inheriting Khaslana's memories and has another talk with the Hero Within, but TB is pulled into the dream with him. Realising TB is his ideal hero, TB inherits the Khaslana name and Phainon's Hero Within (metaphorically) while they agree that TB will be the new Deliverer, and Phainon will be off to square up with Destruction.

They return to the real world's Vortex, Phainon uses his ult and protects Trailblazer until he leaves the Vortex while he goes off to drop the hardest diss track on Lygus.

He then proceeds to get bodied by Zephyro all for a drop of Nanook's blood, causing him to start integrating with Irontomb (a process that is at 99% as of the time we get admin access to As I've Written).

Mem, having complete memories of Cyrene, resets the ER Cycle for us, the Deliverer, once more.

ER Cycle 33,550,037 - You are here. Cyrene makes a scarecrow out of you in Aedes Elysiae.

Misc.

According to "Containment Measures" part of the updated "As I've Written" module, the reason why Amphoreus was hidden from the rest of the universe was because of Lygus doing preliminary measures to prevent Scepter δ-me13's extrapolations and calculations from reaching or being detected by Genius Society #4 Polka Kakamond.

Given the notoriety of Polka killing other Geniuses, I'm certain Lygus already had this in mind.

I saw some amazing protocores/builds that some players posted on tt and compared them to mine, and the ones I have equipped for his LR companion are not good enough. It's just that—FARMING FOR GOOD PROTOCORES IS SO ANNOYING AND TIME CONSUMING. Would you be comfy posting what your build is/which protocores you have equipped currently? yes protocores make aLL the difference. i’d argue they are more important than maxing out your cards. but it;s incredibly expensive to level them up. i don’t even mind farming good ones. its just how much it costs to level them to 12/15…

here are the stats i used to beat gravity 120 (team1/LR on the left and team2/FA in the middle. the right hand pic #3 is my current best LR team)

here are my protocores for the team i used to beat team 1 on gravity 120 (so the 74 crit and 257 cdmg)

you’ll see a LOT of my cores are lvl 0. i focus on maxing out (or getting lvl 12 at least) my beta and delta core (the cube and triangle ones). i don’t even touch the alpha or gamma cores until much later (the diamond and the spiky star) because their main stat is fixed. additionally, these cores aren’t optimized - i haven’t gotten to the point of the game where i fully level a core and then i’m like hm, this could be better. i just level it up and use it if it works.

like some of these are DEF/DEF% which i was using for FA, but never bothered switching to a diff set for LR (who scales off ATK and not DEF like FA)

so zam says she has something special planned for s7. while we know she Hates hates hates exploits more than anyone, if she found out about a wormhole like glitch that wasnt being patched and had to resort to desperate measures to get it fixed (i.e. opening another wormhole...) i think she Might go through with it. definitely wouldnt Use any of the exploited items or any of the things like what ash vi and spoke, but shed be cryptic and dramatic and be channeling her inner s5 abyss arc fs. i feel like setting this maybe after her deathban would be fun because it could be stuff like ... shes alr been banned once, she cant guarentee it wont happen again so her plan is a bit like desperate in the way its conceived. and of course flame and taxduo help her because atp theyre like. a frequently bought together Do Not Separate unit. and wemmbu is familiar with exploits so as much as he hates the way dealing with this one has zam reminiscing on bad past experiences and worrying about her own morality hes the first to help her with this, while flame and egg distract the other server members by way of intimidation (flame) / general silliness (egg)

then when the wormhole like glitch is finally put into motion- im imagining something literally js like the wormhole btw, a sort of server-opening thing but instead of hundreds of players being able to join from all diff servers its a bit smaller scaled and only rly set to One server, so zam picks the biggest priv server she can find for the wormhole and it just happens to be the uu server....... Which. as u could probably guess. doesnt go well for anyone. zams probably the most shaken up over it because now shes exposed eggbu to danger again, but theyre mostly worried about the director plus other uuers targeting or trying to trap/kill solarflare.

mostly i wanted to think of this because i really wanted. the uu side charas to meet their ls selves... and also for the uu mcs to get to see their allies slash enemies again. also . gives a chance for me to invoke another flavour of wincezam.... post pze collapse uuzam and lswemm... he recruits her just to fuck with eggbu but they (him uuzam ro and uupangi who came along w uuzam) eventually become an honestly inseparable team ... hell polycule #2 😭😭😭🙏

hiiii oh yay im happy to hear i helped!! hmm, there are a few i can think of from my own personal experience with learning this program ahaha <3

when moving/rotating/scaling parts, u can hold other keys while dragging with your mouse to change movement increments for super fine tuning! CTRL moves it by 0.1, and SHIFT moves it by 0.25!

sooo this one might have been more obvious to other people but i realized from the painting section, if you press "image" you can change the brightness/contrast/hue/etc of the model texture from within blockbench & get a real time preview :'')) the whole time i kept uploading it to a diff painting software to tweak overall colors LMAO

for animating, this dropdown is super useful for getting different animation styles-- (you can find it on the left-hand side panel)

linear is the default which takes the keyframes and moves them straight from point A to point B, which although it has its uses it can sometimes make animations look stiff. smooth is my all time fav since it adds a bit of a subtle recoil/bounce to make things look lifelike! (idk what bezier does LOL) and step jumps from keyframe to keyframe, so it looks like a stop-motion animation!

those are all i can think of atm but hope people might learn something new from these :D

omg top 5 of pure enjoyment…. well ones i think are fun and ones i think are good are two diff lists but there is some overlap…

1. My School President- just so much fun, the comedy is well done, the characters are fun, and i had the best time watching it. it helps im just a sucker for geminifourth as a pairing.

2. kinnporsche- unfortunately on the list. i love it so much though like its so bad but also had so much potential which makes it good but genuinely if you are watching it for the love of the game….. its amazing. plus where would i be without my beloved kinnporsche gifs <3

3. 23.5- similar to my school president, just a genuine joy to watch! it’s lighthearted and fun and two older trans lesbians side characters??? amazing, beautiful, i want more of this all the time.

4. bed friend- i just had a lot of fun watching this one. pretty basic i suppose in plot but the actors really sell me on it and it does have its strong points. plus i’ll never forget that cat ears scene what the fuck was happening….

5. moonlight chicken- cheating really bcus i wouldn’t say the viewing experience was….Joyus but man. everyone has to watch moonlight chicken i cried like a baby and li ming and heart are characters watching anything for….
