Final Bug Fact:

The world NEEDS bugs. They keep the soil healthy, pollinate, control pests, and contribute to the worlds' ecosystem. By the end of the century, it is estimated 40% of insect species may go extinct due to habitat loss. Yes, that is very scary. But with even one beetle spared, one caterpillar rescued, and one Hollow Knight comic of all things, things will change. Because I know there's a lot more Dewi's out there than most people realize. Stay curious.

I wanted to put here how amazing and sweet everyone has been with this comic. I finished a 75 page comic in 3 MONTHS. I am at a loss for words. That sounds crazy and it IS crazy. But man was it fun. Even on days were I wasn't able to draw due to fatigue or business, I loved working on it from start to finish. And guess what!? This is my first ever FINISHED comic :D I'm so proud of myself. I know there's some things I want to change and the art is wonky in most places...... but I'm content to let it be. What an amazing summer adventure!

I'm hoping to post the full comic on another Comic website. I may or may not edit some of the art ^w^ So I'll let y'all know when I release it.

Interested in learning what you could do to help your local insects? This is the basic stuff. Maybe make some Insect Hotels if you have the time!!! And never forget to spread the word about bugs. They need our help just as any animal on earth.

He has that iconic scar on his cheek Dewi told Hollow about.#(He got it from a Barbed wire accident as a kid. But he likes to try and convince Dewi it was from a Grizzly Bear)#Conifer almost had a heart attack from the “Map of the World” haha. His wife was beside herself #The bugs were terrified to meet his Dad. But it was kinda inevitable to have the encounter with the Beast if Dewi was in the picture.#So they sent out the only remaining heirs of the Pale King to make a Peace Agreement. It went as chaotic as you can expect.#Quirrel has taken a liking to the bugs outside Hallownest. He finds them very strange and interesting.#Also Hollow does not like the sun very much. Blurr's Spotlight was actually the very first Transformers comic I ever read. I remember looking at the first pages and being like, holy shit, dude why are you so ugly?? Ahahjcmgmg

Guess what I remembered?

... yes, this.

Leslie sighed and inspected her hair closely. It was as it had been since she'd been struck by lightning through Supergirl - platinum blond with hints of purple and green highlights. It almost seemed to shimmer if she looked at it for too long and was always just that slightest bit frizzy no matter what she tried to do with it. It slipped out of every hair style she'd tried to put it in in the last few days since leaving the hospital and going home.

No doubt the agents following her around were from whichever agency dealt with weird Supergirl-related mishaps had been amused by her frustration with ruined ponytails and lazy buns that her hair seemed to try to crawl out of all on its own. She's sighted at least two of those agents, anyway. They probably thought they were being subtle about it, but they really weren't.

I've decided to write a sequel to my brief little pre-slash Leslie/Kara fic. In this one Leslie is figuring out her powers slower than in canon, has a game plan for getting her radio station/podcast back, and designs on flirting with Supergirl while not drugged in a hospital. Of course, there are going to be some unexpected complications because Supergirl isn't the only Kryptonian in National City at the moment.

I'm not quite sure how long this one will be or when it'll be finished, but I'm looking forward to Leslie flustering Kara.

I've also got two ideas for entries into my Joey Mutou fic verse. One I've started and is a post Battle City fic mostly from Duke's PoV as he struggles with his overbearing parents who don't realize that their ambitions are the greatest threat to Duke getting his Dungeon Dice Monsters game to launch in the summer. Thankfully Duke's now got some very nice friends - and also Maximillion Pegasus - who want him to succeed.

"Email me the details and I'd be happy to attend any meeting you set up for us. Having converted arenas in the Kaiba Land Arcades, even just some of them, would be amazing," Duke replied, steeling his nerves.

His parents loved him and wouldn't deliberately sabotage him. Duke just had to... keep that in mind. But it isn't easy when Duke finally ends the call and looks over to see his dad smirking at him.

"So what's this about a business meeting with Seto Kaiba?"

Duke's parents aren't necessarily bad people, they're just not supportive in the way Duke needs. His uncle, however, is a pretty good guy.

Anyway, that's fic number one and it may take a while to get written too. I've got another idea that I haven't started yet that follows up on Joey's comments about the VR pods one-size-fits all approach wasn't accessibility friendly. In which Seto discovers the current state of accessibility technology, deems it insufficient, and starts inventing and manufacturing better. Somewhere in all of this will be tech trials in which Joey - and various other duelists - are hired to test out the improvements to the VR tech.
