The last few weeks have been a bit of a blur, I went to BCC to take the practice math test and I finished the zoom class. Apparently I failed the test. The classes themselves weren’t hard, neither were the skills. it’s mostly just remembering things and then eventually figuring out my own flow when applying them in the real world. My teacher was super nice and friendly towards me and a lot of the students were too, especially Ashley.  I got super sick my 2nd week and thought it was just a cold, turns out it was UTI, that turned into a kidney infection, lovely. I went to the ER on Tuesday, and they gave me an antibiotic, pain meds and an IV. They were packed so they couldnt keep me. Nor would I want to stay, but they put the IV and intrevenous meds in my left hand. No bueno. I went back to school the next day feeling like doo doo. I was disoriented, sweating like a virgin at a prison rodeo/teeth chattering cold, in severe pain from the kidneys up, my right ear was killing me. And my head? I literally couldnt move my head for almost a week. Id fall asleep anywhere, I was late to school at least 3 days in a row (honestly dont remember) and my 1st skills, I barely passed. The issue was the physical. I was freaking out cause I thought it had to be done that day, as the teacher said. Turns out I just need to give it in ASAP. Because it needs to be printed as soon as possible. So I go to City MD by the school and after a rude doctor and a back and forth they try twice to take blood. I learned I can do it, from my right arm, just need something to squeeze. (the tests are in btw, I just dont know wtf they say cause I’m no doctor), the manager there told me to go to LabCorp a few blocks off to have the 12 panel drug screening, so I make an appt via browser on the phone, after not getting them on the phone, walk all the way over there and the rude ass lady was like ‘‘we dont do that here, you gotta go here’‘ and hands me a paper. she says they wont take me without a referral. So I gotta make an appt with my PCP, then have her fill out the part of the paper that has the basic shit like height, weight, whatever, and give me a referral to get the drug screening done, and the make the appt at the 2nd LabCorp office ASAP to get my drug screening done. Hopefully those results won’t take forever. And then I can get my certificate. This is all just annoying and profoundly unnecessarily complicated I mention that I went to a City MD my 1st week of schooling and they turned me away because they do take my plan but not for the medical reason so they wanted to charge me 250$ outta pocket? The people at the one that did it? Claimed they were going to override it as they tended to do with the students from there and if I got a bill in the mail tell the insurance company, that it was a mistake or some shit. IDK. I weighed myself too, I went from 160 ish when I got here in mid December to 171.6. also like ive always had a really bad problem of picking when im anxious. when i was a kid up until sophomore year of college, i would pick the skin of my thumbs so bad that ive had kids ask me if my hand was burned there or if there was an accident. i havent picked that in years, maybe minor picking on my fingers but for 2-3 years now i’ve pretty much left it alone. but this past semester every time i get anxious i keep picking my arms or face so this is like the 3rd test ive taken this semester where ill end up having blood smeared on my hands, wrists, or face because ill notice im bleeding mid-exam, ill try to clean it up (but i have no tissues sometimes) and it’s honestly so gross and it hurts. it’s embarrassing too like i have so many scars from picking and im upset with myself that ive started picking more intensely again. i dont even know if im going to do okay in this class now :( i’m really sad and i have to finish this paper and i still havent gotten up to wash the blood off my face or hands. i wish i just asked for the extra time i should have gotten because then maybe i wouldnt have picked this badly and it would hurt less and i would be less sad. there was no point for me to take this class and i just really want and need to pass now.

sunday. i was really worried about my week. overall, i had 2 essays, a unit exam, three readings, two quizzes, a position post, and two interactive reading reports (i.r.r.) due. the readings, quizzes, post, and i.r.r. are all things i have to do every week anyway, and they all take quite a while. the stressful part was balancing these regular assignments with the exam and the two essays i had to do. one essay was due on tuesday, the other on thursday, and the exam was on friday. i was low-key freaking out, and it was showing itself in the fact that it took me 4 times to make this week’s spread! i was so stressed trying to write out everything i had to do and i kept messing up, and eventually i gave up on trying to make it artsy and just made it simple like i have been. i just finished that spread 10 minutes ago, so yeah. 

yesterday, monday. the first thing i did monday morning was check my e-mail, and OMG the first break of the day! the tuesday essay got pushed back to saturday at 11:30 pm! i was so excited, even though i knew that meant i would procrastinate even more...i just accepted that though because i knew i had more important assignments to work on and i could focus on that essay on friday and all day saturday. then i was off to school, and in my first class of the day i had my second break--my art history exam was pushed back a week! so now i don’t have to worry about it at all this week and can start on it this upcoming sunday instead of shoving it into this busy week. however, my last class of the day threw a tiny bit of a curveball--i have an exam due sunday. BUT this exam is open book!!! so it won’t be too hard to get ready for it, i need to read the chapters and make good notes but it’s not the end of the world if i don’t get everything down. what i’ll end up doing is answering all the questions before even opening my book or notes and then going back and checking honestly! that way i’m not cheating lol. i really do want to learn! 

today, tuesday. today has been alright! i had an early class and went to that and learned that my regularly scheduled quiz was cancelled so we could focus on our essays! so that’s one less thing i could knock off my to-do list! yay. now i’m camped out in the library because i have a 3-hour break between that class and my last class of the day. i finished my assignment that’s due today and it was HORRENDOUS because the first chapter was on Chicago citation style and ??? i’ve only ever done MLA and it was just so much info! and then the second chapter was all about spelling and ??? that was just exhausting because we have to interact with each chapter and it was so hard when i’m familiar with everything since i’ve always been strong in spelling ? ugh it was just boring. then i FINALLY finished my spread for this week, and now i’m patiently waiting for the campus deli to clear out so i can go heat up my instant noodles in peace.....i really need to do my ethics readings today as well as make the outline for my paper due thursday! ALSO i have a field test today and it’s running or walking 2 miles and I HAVENT RAN SINCE LAST SEMESTER so i’m definitely gonna walk it but still i’m not excited for that.....but YEAH

I clarified like twice if I could get Liability? They said yes! So I called State Farm got a 220 quote and Eldorado Motor dropped my down payment to 300 and refunded me 200 So II paid for insurance! And was rolling! Butt I do remember asking what happens if I wreak? They told me they had a repair shop and all I would have to do is pay a 200 dollar deductible! And they would repair it and just tack the rest of the repairs on my car note!
