I’m currently emotional.

I’m a month away from starting school, so I might become more active on here once again. I was really active on here years ago (I’ve had a name change since then!) when I was in undergrad, and I honestly found a place for myself here. I was connecting with other creators and studiers, and I had a little place to express myself and share my passions with like-minded people and friends.

When I was no longer in school, the drive (and the content) for my curated tumblr dwindled away, and ______studies became dark. But now, with a possible reemergence, I find myself sad.

All of the friends I made here years ago have grown up, too. Most of them are probably done with high school, undergrad, or postgrad. A lot of the sentiment and attachment to my account seems lost. It feels lonely. Maybe some are still active in whatever capacity, but I have a feeling that most of the usernames I grew so fond of have moved on. 

So, this is just a sentimental post. To those who were with me in the beginning but are now gone, I’ll miss the screen friendship we shared, with our similar passions, aesthetics, and good vibes. To those who were here and still remain, you’re keeping me steady and I’m hoping this will reach you. And to those who are just joining the journey and will watch it unfold over the next year, welcome. I hope you’re creating the same tender memories as the ones I’m speaking of here. I hope studyblr will be a space of encouragement, joy, and peace.

29.09.20 / i finally got to rearranging the photos and artwork on my wall. i’m the type of person who thrives when my surroundings are refreshed and organized so i’m feeling extra productive now that i have a “new” desk situation. i’m editing a first draft at the moment while listening to older albums i haven’t listened to in a while. i hope you’re having a lovely tuesday ♡

March, 16th - Today I woke up at 6.40 to go to the police station since a nice little guy decided to stole a lot of money from me, anyway, that didn’t stop me, I’m studying and keeping myself hydrated 🌿
