The answer is Yes to both of your questions, Anon lol My entire life is dedicated to everyone failing NNN and succeeding at DDD.

I draw for a living! And I spend pretty much the entire day drawing:  I spend the first chunk of the day either working on commissions or on our personal projects, then I take a break to write replies (not sure if it’s a break...), then I finish up stuff for us to post (it’s previously made sketches, I mostly just need to clean them up, fix them a little and throw some colours on them; sometimes it takes longer, sometimes it takes a couple of hours), and then I sketch.

I am honestly very grateful and lucky to be able to produce so much art on a daily basis, and opportunities like these unfortunately never last forever, so I would like to do my best and keep posting fun stuff for all of you while it’s possible and fun to do. I am happy where I am at in terms of this stuff, and insanely lucky to draw twst boys for commission work as well.

Hello! How did you end up drawing NSWF? Did it come naturally or was it a meticulous learning process? Hi Anon! I talked about it a tiny little bit in this reply, but that post was mostly about me accepting the fact that I want to draw smut mentally lol I’ll talk a little bit about my actual learning process here!

My first attempts at drawing this kind of stuff were very awkward, which is obvious and perfectly natural. It felt wooden, stiff, like I had no idea what I was doing but I desperately wanted to make it look good, but didn’t have any tools for it. For the record, this was my skill level when I first started drawing smut.

My very first attempts were very inspired by one specific artist that drew cute yaoi pics, so I pretty much copied some poses from them to get myself familiar with how this whole thing works. At first I didn’t even draw any genitalia, just… wooden bodies smushed together lol

I was miserably bad at it at first, but I feel like something shifted in a couple of years, which incidentally was around the time we got into a bunch of very cool R18 artists, including Mentaiko (Itto). Even though my own artstyle is nothing like Itto’s, the way he draws bodies is so spectacular, I learned a lot from his works. I really encourage you to read Priapus if you haven’t already lol And I studied it as well by redrawing parts of my favourite frames, staring at the pages a lot, trying to draw something similar myself. Studying things that you yourself find hot makes you better at drawing hot stuff – go figure…

And to be honest, I feel like this is still the main thing that I do. I found my sketches from a couple of years ago where I just drew like 40 different vaginas being fingered from all the art that I liked lol It’s a very long learning process. But when it comes to tips, here is what I can say:

Study things that you find hot as much as possible; be it art, doujins, 3d gifs, irl stuff – anything. And try to keep in mind what exactly are you currently analysing and studying: the anatomy, the colouring, the ideas, the poses; all those could be studied separately.

Sometimes I scroll through a lot of irl porn just to get some poses ideas. Don’t take too much time doing it though, like very quick tiny sketches that only take like a minute or so. Just as a little reminder that yes, this pose also works like this. Or when it’s at this angle, the leg goes like this. All those little details are important to remember.

You don’t have to draw the entire body and stress about it; you only have to draw the sexy part and indicate which character it is somehow! You don’t have to show any faces either, as long as it’s easy to see who’s fucking lol

Squishing and pulling are your friends. Bodies are soft… sometimes a drawing with bad anatomy still works because the butt is squeezed too deliciously to look away. You can study hands squishing things or parts of the flesh squishing against each other separately, it’s very helpful.

Make everything very very moist. Add dripping sweat and other liquids, add saliva, tears, a lot of wet surfaces and bright highlights. A lot of drawings feel not hot enough because they’re too dry… that’s my bias though!

Hi, it’s random anon again and I very very much apologize for this but your analyses have inspired me so much and I really wanna ramble about Stalkyoo and parallels and role reversals because they. Won’t leave :”DDD. I think in particular, your reflections on just how stubborn and persistent Shin-ae is in pursuing Nol and how just. Devoted to him she is, even if she doesn’t realize it, and how it perfectly mirrors (if not takes like, five steps further!) Nol’s persistence to gain her friendship in the first major arc. How she went from being the one aggravated and skeptical of his advances, wanting nothing but for him to leave her alone to pursuing him relentlessly, refusing to let him exit her life and proving to him just how much she (and Dieter and Soushi!) care. The role reversal is just so, so strong–but I think half the reason it works as well as it does is because of how strongly Nol and Shin-ae parallel each other. Both of them were bright, radiant children beaten down and failed by the adults around them, but comprehended it in different ways. Shin-ae externalized her trauma; it evaporated her trust in the world, so she drew protective barriers around herself so it couldn’t hurt her again. Contrastingly, Nol internalized it–whether by circumstance or physically by Yui’s hand, he was made to thrust the blame onto himself; it was him who was the monster, who could only warp and corrupt. He didn’t protect himself from the abuse–he threw himself away, becoming someone whose sole purpose in life was to make up for the burden of his existence by lifting up others. It’s Yeong-gi, the idealized and smoothed-over version of himself that Shin-ae meets and begins to let into her life, but it’s Nol that she recognizes and fights for and loves.

There’s something intrinsically poetic about Nol being the one to prove to Shin-ae that the world still has good people in it, that she can love and not be hurt for it–him, the guy whose self-perception has been so abused that he sees himself as wholly marred, only able to harm those around him: And that it’s now Shin-ae who is now the active one, using everything that she’s gained from him and her stubborn persistence in her mission to prove that she loves him and that he deserves to be loved. She just! Always fights so, so hard for him–chasing him down, literally fighting barriers between them, repeating again and again how much she cares, how much she wants to know and understand him, how much she wants him to be in her life. Nol has been conditioned to see himself as the enemy, as unloveable, but Shin-ae fights that notion tooth and nail. She is so impetuously, assuredly devoted to him and it’s just!! Arghghgh!!! How could he not fall for her, when even before she understood just how deep his scars were, she reached out time and time again, validating him and his emotions; always *seeing* him in a world where he so often felt invisible. And on that note, it just makes Shin-ae falling for Nol both more heartwarming and more tragic because we as readers know just how happy Nol has made Shin-ae, just how much he has (not to be ridiculously cliche jjeagioh) illuminated her world, but he hasn’t, not really. She was arguably the most happy we’ve ever seen her while dancing with him, but he literally blinded himself to it! Instead, he only saw the aftermath–just how much he hurt how, how their moment wounded Dieter. He still views (or at least, is pushing himself to view) their feelings for each other as just another extension of his ill effects on others, screwing up existing relationships and harming one of his closest friends in the process!

Just aghhghgh their dynamic and their characters and how fundamentally they meet in the middle and yet conflict fundamentally is so good… external conflict is great and all but internal conflict is what really, truly defines their relationship and the complex mess it is.

(Also!! So irrelevant but speaking of songs that are so very Stalkyoo coded, Charles is so them it hurts. One of its lines is “I talk and talk about love but it’s above the clouds / I can’t see it with my clouded mind” and I had to do a double-take because Shin-ae is that you lmao??? It’s a vocaloid song so I doubt you’ve heard of it but! I thoroughly recommend!!)

AAAAHHHHHHHHHH no do not apologize!!!! This is why I'm here, I LOVE asks like this, I love getting to yell and ramble about them and this whole webtoon because YES YES YES you get it!!!!! You understand everything that I feel so strongly about them, too. Everything about Nol and Shinae is so wonderful and yeah, so shippable, because of their dynamic, the role-reversal, the mirroring! Every time I reread I'm just really taken aback at how well done it is, because Nol and Shinae develop so slowly over time as a result of the mirroring as a result of their experience as a result of their trauma and there's not really one moment where you can put your finger on it. Sure, we know the Kim formal was a significant moment of development, but honestly, Nol and Shinae had a lot of development leading up to that.

I'm in the middle of a reread (when aren't I lmao) and you can kind of spot when Nol goes from trying to connect with Shinae because he wants to play Cupid, because he wants to reach out to someone he sees himself in to wanting to connect and befriend her for himself. Everything about them is just so!!!!! GOOD to read over and over? How initially he sees himself in her, someone who puts on a mask and fakes it, someone who puts up walls and pushes others away and that's what makes it so easy for him to figure out how to get to her. But because of that shared commonality, it goes likewise. Shinae isn't as good at reading Nol, especially because for so long she only knows Yeonggi, but I think something really interesting about rereading their relationship is that she wasn't really wrong in a lot of what she was picking up about him in the beginning. She reads his eager earnestness, especially once she learns he has a girlfriend, as being something to be leery of. What if he's a player, what if he's just a weird flirt? She doesn't want to be some "other woman", someone who gets caught up in a dramatic misunderstanding. And part of that is yes, because his word choice - the compliments, the liberal use of cute, the way he pays attention.

But I think it's also, on some level, an acknowledgement that he cares a lot - and more than she thinks someone with a girlfriend should. In retrospect it makes even more sense because after we see how he talks about Alyssa, even before he admits he doesn't care about her at all, it's really easy to assume that Nol and Alyssa's relationship was never a relationship - even when he tried briefly, I'm guessing it never felt like one. So he's saying things to Shinae that yeah, a guy with a girlfriend wouldn't do, unless he was a player. In a sense, Nol is acting on something that pulls him towards Shinae, but he isn't aware of it, and Shinae only seems to be because he has a girlfriend. It makes her acutely aware of how much he cares.

But also, much like Nol, Shinae isn't used to being noticed. She feels like relying on others makes her a burden, hates to ask for help or owe favors and even when help is offered she doesn't like to accept it. She tries to take up as little space as she can, to require as little assistance as possible, to be strong and soldier on. In her experiences, no one helps out of the goodness of their hearts, and most people can't be trusted. Even those who say they care may not really care, may turn around and hurt you.

And yet, she does exactly that for Nol, even before the formal. That's one of my favorite things about them, ngl! It's that Shinae refuses help whenever possible, but she gives it out whenever possible, too. She shows over and over that she isn't the hard, tough outer shell she tries to show herself to be. Especially as someone who has been hurt before, I think she's naturally prone to noticing when people need help, when people are being quiet about something - because she does the very same thing. The tiniest little things, like noticing when his knuckles are bruised and scuffed, stopping to talk to him after work even though she tries to tell herself no. At the formal, she has that painfully uncomfortable public dance, but she rushes over to Nol because she's worried about him. That's what gets to me - she is going through hell, he is putting on one hell of a front to try to make her feel comfortable knowing she's being forced to be there, trying to make her feel better about being there - but she still notices those little moments, still asks about him.

An interesting thing about Shinae disliking Nol's smiles is that, on some level, she knows there's no reason for him to be. Maybe Dieter and Soushi, too, have questioned the very happy go lucky Yeonggi, but I don't think they've been in situations where they could tell Nol looked upset moments before and now is smiling like nothing is wrong. Because Shinae is privy to those moments, though, she seems to pick up on the fact they are a mask - not consciously of course! But they bother her, they unnerve her, because what's there to smile about?

All this is to say that Nol and Shinae get each other in some very inherent way, and it makes all of this - the mirroring, the role reversal - so very satisfying! And YES you are right! That Nol is the very reason Shinae came to find value in herself and is turning it around on him? It's so poetic and full circle! She can only do this for him, can only chase after him and reach for him and persistently try to hold on to him, because he did it for her, because he taught her this. Their relationship is basically like an ouroboros, right? Nol starts to care more and more because she cares for him. Because she sees him when he feels unseen, because she finds him in those shadows. And by being seen, he cares for her, he shares his friendship with her. And then she takes his friendship, the way he talks to her, the way he supports her, the things he calls her out on, and she does it for him. If she has to value herself, so does he. If she has to learn to let others in, so does he!

One of the popular arguments against Stalkyoo is that they are not, y'know "healthy". They're unstable, they "need to heal" etc. etc. And while I agree therapy would do them a world of good and I'm not trying to get them to hook up this very second, I think what is so good about Nol and Shinae, together, is the effect they have on each other, what they draw out of each other. It's true, Nol is so certain he is this monster, that everything he touches turns to pain and doom, and he sees it now in how indulging in his feelings for Shinae has hurt one of his first friends. It makes him feel like an asshole. He believes he doesn't deserve anything, let alone his own selfish wants standing in the way of others and hurting them.

But despite that, Nol has never really been able to deny Shinae - I think she makes him want to see something in himself, but it's just so hard with everything he's been through, with everything that has convinced him he can only hurt others. And that's my thing. They don't have to go "heal" and become better to bring out the good in each other because, frankly, healing is a life-long process. We will always be trying to unlearn the traumas we all individually carry, the things that shaped us into who we are. And part of that process (besides therapy lol) is what we learn through our friendships, whether they are romantic or platonic or otherwise.

Nol made Shinae see something of value in herself, talked her into being kinder to herself, to opening up, and she tries to do the same in kind to him. I think she can, too. He's got some roadblocks right now, but I absolutely believe that through his continued relationship with Shinae, through her sincere and earnest belief in him, through her acceptance of him - all of him not just Yeonggi but yes Nol as well - just by having his back, she can help him come around to accept himself, as well.

This is why it's so important that Nol and Dieter have a talk soon. I think Dieter very much sees this, too - the effect they've had on each other, just as much as the attraction between them. Something people don't give him enough credit for is that he's observant and picks up on details really easily. He has seen between his friends something that does not exist between him and Shinae, even if it didn't stop him from carrying his torch of hope. Nol feels so much guilt towards Dieter right now, feels like a selfish asshole who hurt someone in the pursuit of some kind of happiness and indulgence he doesn't even believe he deserves, and it's pretty difficult to talk Nol out of feeling that way. Nana tries. Shinae tries. It's going to take him a while. But I DO think it's important for Dieter to talk to him because I think he's going to tell Nol that he isn't mad at him, that he doesn't hold this against him. How can you help the heart wanting what it wants? He knows this better than anyone, still wanting Shinae's affection even after being rejected, even after knowing they don't have what she has with others. But importantly, he needs to try to relieve Nol of his guilt.

Shinae alone is not able to help heal Nol's wounds, just like Nol alone is not able to heal hers. She's had help from Minhyuk, from Dieter, from resolving her conflict with Maya. I think it's Nol's turn, to learn to rely on others a little more, to face some of those demons knowing he's not alone, even if he's still learning how to accept that he deserves that support.

AND GOD IT JUST MAKES THEM SO GOOD! I love Shinae going from wanting nothing to do with him to wanting to hold on to him, to using every shred of her energy to fight for him, how she wants to know everything about him, what made him into this person he is. She cares so much and she can only care this much because he did first, because he saw something of value and worth in her and HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO BE NORMAL ABOUT THEM? HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO JUST. SIT HERE AND NOT FEEL LIKE OUR CHEST IS BURSTING OPEN WITH SO MUCH FEELING WITH SO MUCH AFFECTION FOR THEM?

I look so forward to seeing what they become, how they will continue to bring out the best in each other, how they will continue to illuminate each other. And I look forward to the day Nol feels like he deserves it, when he can share her happiest moment with her, instead of give it to her. When he lets her see him, all of him, all of the things she wants to know about him. I look forward to her understanding the depth and complexity of her feelings, how she fell for this person who saw her for all she is and drew her out, just likes she's trying to do with him. How could he not?! You are right! We are right! How could he not fall when she believes in him, when she always tries to draw him back in, when she has affected him so much in such a short time ;A;

If art museums are not your thing, he would be a little disappointed but then again, some artists like more modern artworks and some that are shown online so he understands

And frankly, having you draw him makes him immensely proud of himself for having a talented girlfriend like you, he doesn't ask that you draw him but he secretly wants to

It was breakfast and you were sat between a sleeping Belphie and a distracted Beel so you took the time to draw the eldest when no one's looking.

Lucifer hummed and told Beel not to eat so messily as you continued to draw him.

Lucifer has seen many sketches of him and the brothers and when you give him some as a gift, he keeps it well-protected somewhere that Mammon can't steal in his bedroom.

He absolutely cherishes every drawing you have, the boy keeps a doodle of him and you as a good luck charm too <3

He might ask that you do commissions and he gets some of it (for giving the idea and managing the commissions-) but one glare and he'll shut up with a nervous chuckle and an "H-hey! It's just a joke!"

When Mammon sees you staring at some art supplies, he checks it again when he's alone and dies inside because of the price and buys it immediately, he doesn't care if he loses a lot of money only a little bit, all he wants is to see your face when he gives it to you

"You better be grateful that The Great Mammon even thought of giving this to you!... Do-don't look at me like that! It was on sale!!"

While Mammon was napping on his couch, you hastily opened your sketchbook and started sketching him and the boy never realized

By the time he woke up, you were already finished doing 5 sketches of him and taking pictures of him for reference

"Oi! What are you doing? Gimme that!"

His heart completely melts because??? you drew him so good??? his girlfriend drew him???? for free??? and out of love????

He also draws you but it's just a stickman with a messy face but you still love it all the same

He's so happy and giddy to show off his art supplies but he's hesitant when it comes to showing off his art because he thinks it's horrible compared to yours

You encourage him and usually learn together with him whenever he feels awful about his art

He's the Avatar of Envy so there are many times where he's compared himself to other artists so you had to be there to keep him grounded

Art Date, anyone??

It doesn't matter whether you buy art supplies or just take a break from school, it was always nice being around Leviathan

You took the chance to draw him while he was across from you and excitedly showed it to him

He had drawn himself (albeit, in a persona) in many games and animes but your drawing was more special than anything he's ever done

He looked away, avoiding eye contact as he gave you his own drawing which was you in your favorite video game

From now on, whenever the both of you wanted to give small gifts, you draw each other!! <3

Satan

A demon who enjoys impressionism art, there's something about the dreamy landscapes and colors that really makes him calm aside from reading

I think he would paint for a change of pace but gets frustrated because of how difficult it is so he goes back to reading

So watching you draw makes him impressed, drawing takes so much time to master

He doesn't mind whatever art style you have, aside from the impressionism style, he would have yours as his favorite

He understands the pain of art block so he often invites you in his room, one where the others wouldn't bother you, just don't touch anything or else you'll turn into some random animal for a few hours

He also encourages that you read with him when you're uninspired! Reading helps the imagination and the mind, and he'd be happy to recommend some for you!

You trust him with your sketchbooks and he trusts you with his books! The both of you knew the other wouldn't do anything which is why he only lets you inside his room

While Satan makes a drink for you, humming an old song in his DDD, you drew him in overalls and glasses

When you were bored, you would always draw your boyfriend in random outfits and would often show it to him (which he all loves)

"Overalls and Glasses, huh? I might wear it tomorrow." Satan grins, peeking at your sketchbook as he puts down the drinks.

Don't get your hopes too high, he isn't going to wear a maid outfit........yet-

Oh? You draw? Wellll, if you need a model, he's happy to be your own personal model, but it comes with a price ;)

He loves that you draw! And would ask you to draw him

There's many artworks he likes but yours he enjoys the most, even if you aren't his girlfriend

Might ask you if you can design outfits and draw him in certain outfits so he can try them out!

Of course, drawing is not an easy feat so he'll pay you handsomely~

If you do commissions, he gets one just so he can support you

He knows that art doesn't pay much yet it is so overlooked by others

Anatomy is hard so if you want a nude model, he'll volunteer on the spot, sure he has thoughts but if you're fully intent on getting better, he's happy to help!

He's not the type to focus on art so he doesn't understand it much, that doesn't mean he isn't impressed though!

He has heard of Food Art and Food Illustrations though...Based by the Arty Event, he seems to be good at drawing food! He wanted to try it more but Lucifer forbid him in case he would eat the paper and get chemical poisoning or something-

However, if you could also draw food, he would be so delighted!!! He won't eat it, he promises!

It's fine if you don't, though, he expects that you might not understand working out and sports like he doesn't understand art

Might be clueless if ever you feel bad about your drawings, he thinks it looks really good! But upon hearing how frustrated you are, he would give you hugs to comfort you!

While Beel is a oblivious sweetheart, he fully supports your hobbies and would invite you to diners and restaurants so you can draw while he eats! He might even join you while he's eating

As he eats a huge cheeseburger, you drew him, smiling at how happy he looked

When you gave it to him, he told you how spot on you drew him when he eats and keeps it around him, he avoids it getting dirty at any cost

Belphie suggested that gets a photo frame so he bought one! Now your drawing of him lays on his bedrest safely~

He used to love art as much as Satan and Lucifer does but he doesn't anymore, not until you showed him your drawings

You rekindled a small flame in him that he never thought would come back

He doesn't draw because it's way too much work but he enjoys hearing you draw, the sound the pencil makes when it moves around the paper, and the smell of lead and paper makes him sleepy

He secretly likes those papers that have a nice smell in them so you buy some whenever you go out to get some art supplies

Because he always sleeps around you, he doesn't entirely realize that you have a bunch of drawings of him in your sketchbook

Ok so 2020's almost ending (it just ended i started writing this post like....5 days ago??) and i just wanted to do this thing where i have a message towards everyone who supported me/who i think are just very cool and very epic, i only really got into the twst fandom just at the beginning of the year and im just gonna get straight to the point now messages are under the cut :)

I just remembered I could show you some of my die ärzte stuff from The Sims games :D I have made Bela to both TS2 and TS3, and edited him a lot on the latter but he still doesn’t look like him.

I then created Farin to TS3 but his face is too difficult for even that game, I will have to use mods for sliders in the future in order to get what I want. However, somehow TS3 still totally nails it with the thumbnails and I don’t know how it does that because in-game he looks absolutely nothing like that :DDD Here, take a look:

Also my stupid ass for whatever reason didn’t realize to take actual screenshots but I just took photos with my phone. Actually it was because I was sending the photos to someone, but I still don’t understand why I didn’t take screenshots as well :D

Anyway, I used pose player a little as I tried to create some Bela/Farin images (which turned more into Richy/Igor or 80s B/F instead) but it was very difficult to do because I had to take all the images so that “Farin’s” face was not visible because he doesn’t look like himself, and I cry blood if I see either of them with someone else but each other. But tbh, I don’t think even that second… or was it third? version of Bela is that good either. It looked fine when I went to do some quick photoshoot, but now as I look at the screenshots… ehhhh not so much.

Anyway, here’s a little timeline of the Bela-sims - let’s start with what I created for TS2 back in 2009:

I actually made that hair and moustache myself XDDD Or, just recolored the (base game) hair and drew the moustache in photoshop with a mouse and it sure as hell does look like that too! :DDD It was quite easy to create/recolor things like hair or facial hair for TS2 Bodyshop and because the game itself had no custom colors, that was the only option left. Or you could download CC made by other people, which I did. A lot. (The eyes and skin, for example, are CC.)

Then in 2009 TS3 was released and I liked doing look-a-like sims and I tried creating Bela for that one too:

This is one of the first versions - I still didn’t have any custom content because the game was so new that no one had created any yet :D I think I tried creating Farin at this point too but it just never worked out.

Okay so then we jump full 9 years forward as in 2018 I went back to CAS (Create A Sim) and edited this version of Bela a little, and tried to create the Farin you already saw above.

Here’s two different versions - not really there yet. Something wrong with many things. Also I figured Farin’s hair was too long for that era of Bela’s hair, and I changed Bela’s hair and well, look what I did:

So that’s what he looks like right now. I’m still not perfectly happy with him tho, I think there’s still some stuff to edit. Plus I really need to download better make up for my sims, those are game’s own but I never remember to do that. I also don’t have too much clothes downloaded so I have used game’s own clothes mainly.

Lol something was making him sador grumpy XD (Notice the ponytail!!! This is such a perfect hair for his old version, not gonna lie! :D)

Anyway, I think I’m going to make another post with just (some of) those Bela/Farin photosession screenshots if anyone wants to see them, and just so that if anyone isn’t into shipping, they can skip those images altogether.

I see you talk all the time about the Nancy Drew games, and I’ve heard great things about them but have no clue what the actual gameplay is like. Could you describe what the games are like? And would you recommend them for someone who’s into narrative and puzzle games?

I'm happy to chatter about these games!! Is definitely recommend them to someone who likes narrative and puzzle games. They are very character heavy, as in you learn more about each suspect and their motives during the game by talking to people directly and also asking them about each other. You untangle the story as you go. The puzzles are very varied in type (from sudoku to chess to reflex/motor skill games), and have two levels of difficulty, which you pick at the start of the games. There are game-ending events, but afterwards you are just deposited right back to before you made the error, so it's not too stressful when you fall to your death/drown/offend someone so hard they kick you off the property, etc. Except for some cutscenes (which are used very effectively-- rare enough to be impactful), you control where Nancy goes and when. In some mystery and hidden object games I've played, you get one view of each place you go (like having one visual of a living room from which you do everything in that room, but it's okay because Sherlock Holmes has x-ray vision apparently), whereas in ND games there's typically multiple angles at which to pick through every scene, getting to look behind furniture, hallways look different depending on which end you enter from, which I think is really cool. So the basic structure is you have 4 suspects to talk to, plus you can phone friends as an in-game hint system, and you solve mysteries in this universe where everyone keeps essential items you need in sliding-puzzle lockboxes.

One thing that really sets them apart though is the educational component. Every game has at least one topic related to the setting that you can read up on in-game, and it's genuinely good information presented in a fun way. Since like age 15 I've known that port means the left side of the boat, and the basics of how fire insurance works, and what stenography looks like, because of these games. As well as like.. how to spot some of the signs that a guy might be a creeper. Role models of successful women in positions of power. All while having funny and touching and interesting dialogue and things to read.

But yeah I'd VERY recommend these games. Just not the very first one or the very last one. Secrets Can Kill was before they had really perfected the formula, and Midnight in Salem is from after the company was under new management and the whole thing was outsourced to people in Russia or something. But they go on discount during steam sales so if you end up liking them, I'd suggest waiting for those to get the bulk of them when they're all half off. Honestly since I grew up with these it's hard to find games that measure up. There's really good walking simulators, but they don't have puzzles really, and there's decent mystery games, but except for a few like Scratches and And Then There Were None they tend to be ariel view, less intuitive controls, less engaging. Artifex Mundi games are fun, they are hidden object mysteries, but the plots tend to be thin and they have a limited array of puzzle types. I dunno, after a game series makes you practice typing at a certain words per minute speed and teaches you Chinese checkers and Roman numerals, for everything else it's like, okay but what are these other games doing to expand my world and exercise my brain cells? xp And the writing is very good and very funny, my partner is catching subtle jokes I never saw in all this time and it's great

Of all your stories, "Divide" is my favorite. Sometimes I imagine it with an earlier happy ending. Like how they made up when Stan came to help Ford. I think in this case reconciliation would be extremely emotional. I just think their thirties are the most interesting. The story is already tragic but everything is still fixable. And at this age, one huge tragedy. Decades of separation would have been enough for them. Maybe I think too much 😅😅

Not going to lie, Divide is my favorite too.

I’ve re-read a lot of my old work and Divide is still the one I’m kind of surprised I wrote, because it’s a lot better than what I think/remember it being.

I didn’t do the ‘Then’ part for their thirties, specifically because I felt like that scene in GF was just perfect as it was. I felt like there was no time for the twins to dig into their past relationship and - at that point - they both felt it was over.

That’s why Divide opens like it does - Stan thought it was over and Ford reveals it’s not, because that’s how the portal drew him home. Frankly, when reading the Journal 3 when it came out, I was...kind of disappointed at that plot point?

Like, CLEARLY there wasn’t going to be some grand romantic connection that drew the portal to Ford or whatever, but I liked the idea that the twin’s connection in general would be the catalyst to getting Ford back - I just think the portal opening in the exact same spot and Ford just happens to be there is kinda...lame? 

But that’s just me and I clearly wouldn’t have a story at all if it wasn’t for the show, so I’m not going to get on some kind of soap box and critique it all day. I’m just saying from my personal writing stand point, I was a little bummed. Kind of like how @cheeziswin was bummed that Stan didn’t buy it in the last ep - I mean, I didn’t want that to happen, but I got where she was coming from. The show hinted pretty hard it was going to go there, but then - the show was ham-stringed by a lot of things (oh, Disney!)

So yeah, the their thirties are tragic for that. Like in the post I just did - kind of regret not doing more on Ghost or playing that story more closer to the vest. The Stans in their thirties is really a project I should focus on/do because I’m in my thirties and yeah...they suck.

Although I know for Ghost I WAS particularly paranoid about the time period. Guardian too, because - believe it or not - i know VERY little about the seventies/eighties and so on and I’m one of those weird writer’s whose like - if I don’t nail exactly how it was back then I’ll DIE.

Divide had a bit of that - I remember having to try and do research to see if there were gay skin mags back then and how lube would work back then and yeah...

...I’m ALSO lazy and not getting paid for fan fiction and need to relax and take a chill pill because this is for fun and...

SHARE THE LOVE CONVENTION

Here’s what happened at the Share The Love Con in Milan! :) [Sorry for my terrible English lol]

At the con I was in the front row with my friends. It was amazing but at the same time I felt a little bit observed lol Pietro was the first one who greeted me and then Nicholas recognized me ;; 

After the panel, my friend and I decided to take a picture with Federico because he was too beautiful with that blue sweater and when we went to take the picture he gave us a tight hug that I will remember forever. I don't know why but I was more nervous than the previous times... maybe because he was even more beautiful than usual lol 

Then we queued for the Fede + Rocco duo and I don’t know where I found the courage but I showed them a photo in which two people were kissing a girl on the cheek and this happened sdifhoisadpo 

Damn Fede has really soft lips, I cry just thinking about it. I left the room shaking like a leaf lol Then we went to the autographs of Nicholas, Greta and Beatrice. Greta and Bea were a wonderful surprise. They are both so kind and sweet. When Greta saw my drawing she gave me a hug and said ‘thank you’ a hundred of times. She was sooo cute! ;; 

Even Beatrice thanked me so much and complimented me and said “You drew me so hot!” And I was like "Well, you are" haha ​​

Then I went to Nicholas and this happened:

Nicholas: Hi! I'm a big fan of yours!

And I smiled at him sooo embarrassed.

Nicholas: I don't know how to thank you! I’m very tired after a drawing, you draw 10 drawings every day! You're very good.

Then Greta arrived at his table and said: Did you see my beautiful drawing with the pink background?

And he was like: Mine is gray! :(

Me: I made the backgrounds based on the shirt you had in the photos and you always have a black shirt.

Nicholas: I have to do a photoshoot then haha

Nicholas then asked me to show some of my drawings to Bea and when I showed her my Instagram profile she remembered those I had done for her and Greta added: Oh my God you made me the drawing of me and Nini kissing? It's beautiful! ; _;

Then we went to the autographs of Pietro, Fede and Rocco and I have to say that this was one of the most beautiful moments of the Convention. When Pietro saw me he greeted me with an "Hello darling, how are you?" And before I answered he said: "Did you bring me something?" And when I gave him the drawing he said: “Oh my God, it's awesome! This is a new one!”

Me: “Well, yes, I couldn't post it before, it had to be a surprise!”

Pietro: “Can I keep it? ;)”

Me: “Sure it's for you! Also, sorry if I tag you on so many drawings.”

Pietro: “It makes me so happy! You drew the futuristic black and white one, the one where I’m in Venice, the one with the flag you gave me last time and ... this, right? (he remembered all of them ; ___;) And then he added: “But you drew Federico more :( AHAHAH”

Then I went to Fede and he said: “I know that yesterday was your birthday so… HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!” And he sent me a kiss. I died. Then I gave him the drawing and he thanked me and he looked at me with a pleased smile saying: “What can I write here ..?” And he wrote me this beautiful autograph that I’ve to frame. 

Then, without saying anything, he got up and hugged me and it was a beautiful moment because I didn't want to let him go. Maybe that was the best hug- not only because it lasted longer but because I could tell him how grateful I was for everything.

Then I went to Rocco and he greeted me with a big smile saying: “Hello Giulia, how are you ?!” And I was actually dying inside so I immediately gave him the drawing and he said something like: “Wtf is this a drawing? Oh my God it’s amazing thank you so much” and he showed it to Fede.

Then in the afternoon there were other panels but for those I will make a special mentions at the end of the post.

Then there was Fede and Rocco meet & greet. It was pretty weird because we were all so shy and we didn’t know what to say so they told us something that happened on set during Marti and Nico reunion on the terrace in 2x09.

Fede: “Ludovico told us ‘Kiss!', so we did it. It was so romantic, but when we stopped, I noticed that I had Rocco's snot on my cheek. So I said: WHAT THE FUCK IS IT? THIS IS DISGUSTING! and the atmosphere was ruined.

Rocco: “It's true HAHAHA”

Fede: “I had your snot on me all the time! You were always crying!

Rocco: "Yes, there was an important exchange of body fluids. AHHA”

Then we went to eat the pizza with the cast. The first one who sat at our table was Federico. I was the first one to get the pizza and he said: “Well you're the birthday girl that’s why they gave you the pizza first”. I just smiled like an idiot and he said: “Eat it or it gets cold!"

Me: "No, I'm waiting for you …"

He: “But if it gets cold, it sucks”. (it sucked anyway haha)

Then me and my friends started arguing with him bc Federico claimed that the pizza has to be cut in 8 pieces (and we were cutting it in 4). Thankfully Pietro arrived and supported us and told Fede: “Stop being so annoying” ahah.

After that, there was the most embarrassing interaction that I've ever had with him. We looked at each other and he smiled, so I smiled back but I was too nervous to say anything. Basically we kept smiling for like 15 seconds and it all ended with an embarrassing silence :))))

Then Rocco sat right next to me and he was so… excited? Haha

Rocco: “Did you eat today?”

Me: “No, we were anxious…”

Rocco: “Why? C’mon we know each other now! We’re friends!” (I almost cried, I swear).

Then I showed him a bracelet that my friends bought me for my bday (a heart with the word ‘Sbedemmic’ written on it) and he enlightened and said: “Nooo! Oh my god! Sbedemmic !? A-ma-zing!”

Then we asked him how to pronounce “Maxence” and Rocco called him at out table and Maxence rushed to us leaning towards us and we were blown away because he has really beautiful eyes and honestly I didn't even listen to what he said ahaha

Then Nicholas joined us and said  "I want to sit right next to Giulia” (I wanted to hug him ;u;) and we talked about drawings and it was wonderful. Then at a certain point I don't remember what he wanted to ask Bea and he started to call her addressing a girl at the table next to ours and only after a while we pointed out that Bea was sitting on the other side of the room and he was like: “Who was I calling? The girl doesn't even have hair like Bea!” HAHAH

Before he left we hugged each other tight and we  thanked each other for everything.

Maxence is literally an elf. He is nice, funny and he gave me a lot of positivity. We asked him to take a photo all together and he immediately put the glass of wine down because “If my mom sees the picture she gets angry” xD He said he never had the chance to interact so much with the fans at the events and that he thinks it’s amazing to create a bond with us.

Then I apologized bc I tag him on a lot of drawings and he asked me “Wait, what did you draw?”

Before I answered him he started to jump on the chair saying “The raccoon one!?”

Me: “Yes, even the-”

He: “The one with the shirt! Come on, let me see it!”

So I showed him the drawing and he exclaimed: “YEEEEES! THIS ONE! YEEEEES! THE SHIRT!!!”

He thanked me and I closed instagram, but I had forgotten to change my background and I had a photograph of me with Federico.

Maxence saw it and said: “Is that your boyfriend?"

And I said: “I WISH!”

I swear I didn't want to say it out loud, but it was spontaneous. He widened his eyes and literally burst into laughing while I turned RED. I apologized saying it wasn’t my intention to say it out loud but he said that he got that bc he read the panic in my eyes as soon as I realized it, but he appreciated my spontaneity and he said that it will be our little secret xD (then we talked outside and we took a couple of photos, he even chose the poses AHAHAH but then we got caught and the staff told him to go inside xD).

1 December

The second day in the morning we went to the autographs of Robin and Lukas and they both thanked me so much for the drawings (I will never forget their expressions ;;). 

After giving Lukas the drawing he stood up and hugged me tight and he was the sweetest, with his beautiful and kind smile :’)

Then I took a photo with Nicholas 

and a duo with Maxence and Rocco where I asked for a group hug and Maxence said: A POLIPATA ?! (an Italian word that idk how to translate. Obviously Rocco taught him that haha it’s like “hugging like an octopus” lol)

The last photos were those with Federico. When I showed him the photo I wanted to do he made an expression that I will never forget a mix between a smile and ;) and he said: “Uh, today we are in the mood for kisses”. And of course I turned BRIGHT RED :DDD

The last activity of the day was the autograph with Maxence. He thanked me for the drawing and said "You made me a beautiful drawing, so I will also make your own beautiful drawing" and he made a stylized character of me ahaha

At the cocktail party Maxence was the first one to sit with us! He didn’t know what to say so he asked us to do a toast and we all said in chorus 'cin-cin' and he said: "Do you know that ‘cin-cin’ means vagina in Chinese?” Ahah This was the highlight of our conversation.

Then Nicholas and Rocco came at our table and we talked all the time about medicines and reflux lmao We looked like the geriatric department bc they said that all the cocktails tasted like medicines lol 

Then Pietro and Fede arrived, both sooo tired, but Fede greeted us with "Hello rays of sunshine!" And we were literally dying . Pietro said he was worried about not being able to return home because he would have arrived after midnight and he didn't have the keys. "I can't call someone and say "Hi, I'm the guy who lives upstairs" ahaha

Then we talked to Lukas and Robin and they were so cute ;; Lukas is a very interesting person, he has a pure soul and it was a pleasure to know him ;; 

In the end, Bea and Greta arrived and we gossiped a lot, especially about boys haha

Best moments of PANELs:

-Nicholas said his favorite word is Australopithecus Robustus and Greta said "Fregno" (it’s a slang for ‘hot’) xD

-Fede said his Spirit animal is a Golden Retriever and that Martino’s is a fox

-Fede made fun of Rocco because he spoke with metaphors that didn’t make any sense so Fede was like: Enough Rocco, enough! Stop it! THAT'S ENOUGH!

-We made a video for Bea and everyone cried in the room

-THE KARAOKE

-Fede said that Rocco didn’t know how to ride a bicycle and they had to shoot that scene a lot of times

-Fede complimented Rocco and then he gave the microphone to him saying: “Come on, I’m waiting.” Because he wanted to get compliments too haha

-Rocco sat in the audience and asked Fede the story of Bambi and Fede called him “Er Lucertola (lizard)” in revenge and said that the name of Bambi was born because of a toxic (Rocco haha)

-Pietro who answered BOH to all the questions haha

-When a girl mentioned the 4th season (even if we couldn’t) and everyone said to keep hoping and thanked us for fighting so much during these months and then Rocco said: Yes, thank you very much for the support. Without you it wouldn't have been pos— Everyone: ROCCO !!!!! haha

-When another girl talked about Massimo Reale -Dr. Spera- (referring to the photos he posted from the 4th season’s set) and then Bea said: She just wanted to know the name of Dr. Spera and yes, it’s Massimo Reale xD

The Future of the Destiny Islands Trio - Part 1

There is so much to discuss in regards to all of the information we’ve received in Kingdom Hearts Re:Mind and I have so many theories conjuring up in my head that I want to share with you all. For today, I would like to discuss the status of our main trio, the Destiny Islands trio. 

Nomura himself stated that Kingdom Hearts 3 depicts how each character feels about each other “in this new storyline”. Which means that their relationships going forward into the next arc have been defined. Therefore, we can analyze Kingdom Hearts 3 and get a good idea of where each character stands as of now and theorize where their relationships will be headed. However, I’ll be focusing on just the Destiny Islands Trio since I feel every other Trio has received their happy ending and their relationships are clearly defined. The Destiny Islands’ Trio future remains hazy. With that being said…

*SPOILERS AHEAD*

Sora and Kairi : Now

Let’s begin with analysis on Kairi and Sora since their relationship took center stage this time around. First, let’s look at some moments the two had together that were cute: they fed each other separate paopu fruits, they hug, Sora has a strong devotion to save Kairi’s heart, and they had a team attack “One Heart” where they shared angel wings. It is clear that in KH3 Sora and Kairi’s relationship is stronger. So where do they both stand? 

I would say that Kairi does have romantic feelings for Sora. We established in KH1 she returned Sora’s crush when she drew her hand feeding him a paopu fruit. She initiates the paopu fruit scene and directly states she wants to be in Sora’s life, the fruit itself implying that she means forever. She says she wants to protect him now, which shows she wants to change the dynamic of she and Sora’s relationship where she is always being saved and protected by him. She wants to reciprocate the desire to protect him, this shows a clear attempt at advancement. She’s ready to be Sora’s equal in their relationship. At the very end in the Limit Cut episode, she chooses to sleep for a year believing traces of Sora exists in her heart which shows she believes the connection between their hearts is very strong. Kairi is taking the initiative to advance their relationship, and this leads me to believe there are romantic motives behind her actions. Of course Nomura is Nomura and there’s a chance that Kairi’s motives are completely platonic but considering Kairi’s known crush on Sora and her insistence that they remain a part of each others lives, I would mark her actions down as romantic.

But where does Sora stand? 

Well…. 

Sora states early in the game that he has a lot to learn about love. He seems to be very clueless and is walking the line between liking and loving, friendships and romance and it shows throughout the game. His feelings are not as clear as Kairi’s so we will have to analyze all of the moments the two share to see if he either reciprocates Kairi’s feelings or initiates/participates in a moment that can unquestionably be interpreted as romantic. 

As Kairi initiates the paopu fruit scene, Sora looks baffled and confused which is a reaction completely opposite of what’s expected of him considering this is the same island boy who dreamed of sharing a paopu fruit with Kairi a year earlier. She says she wants to be a part of his life and he never responds directly to the idea he only says “Kairi, I’ll keep you safe.” Protecting Kairi and saving her from trouble is something he’s been doing since the start of the series and doesn’t really demonstrate an advancement in their relationship, and doesn’t imply romance since Sora has shown that he’s extremely dedicated to keeping everyone safe. You can interpret his statement as romantic but since it can also be interpreted as platonic I wouldn’t count it as a purely romantic moment. For this scene to be truly romantic Sora should have returned Kairi’s desire to be together forever, not just with eating separate paopu fruits because there is a high level issue with their exchange that I will cover in a bit. When Kairi loses her heart, Sora tells Chirithy that he is alright with losing the power of waking and even vanishing from the world, which shows that he is incredibly devoted to saving her. He demonstrates this devotion throughout all of Re:Mind, doing all that he can to find her heart’s pieces. However, he does this for all of the Guardians and saves them all from death by abusing the Power of Waking. Sora is, again devoted to saving all of his friends and he has shown this across all games, especially with Riku in KH2 where he nearly accepted that he and Riku could possibly be lost to the Realm of Darkness forever. Therefore I wouldn’t count Sora’s devotion as romantic, else we’d have to consider Sora’s devotion to Riku (and everyone else) as romantic. If Sora was devoted to Kairi alone then I would consider it romantic devotion but for now his devotion is universal (which is why I consider Riku’s devotion romantic because he has shown that he puts Sora above all others).

Now we get to where Sora saves Kairi and gives her a big, warm tender hug. This is something you could definitely consider romantic, it’s a great improvement to the incredibly awkward hug Kairi received from him in KH2. Unfortunately it can also be considered platonic because Sora also gives Riku a big, warm yet excited hug in DDD. He also fell down on his knees, held Riku’s hands and cried that he looked everywhere for him in KH2. The hugging and touching speaks to Sora’s character rather than romance. Sora is very passionate about his friends and gets very touchy when he misses them or when he’s relieved when he reunites with them, it seems he feels he needs to touch them in some way to make sure they’re really standing in front of him. If we call this hug romantic because its tender then we can call his tender moments with Riku romantic as well….which I have nooo problem with! Jokes aside, since most consider Riku and Sora’s DDD hug as well as their entire moment in KH2 as platonic I will go ahead and mark this one down as platonic too. We can’t say one is romantic while the other isn’t when Sora clearly exudes the same energy (being relieved that he has reunited with someone dear) in both cases. 

So then we have the team attack, One Heart. Well that certainly has to be romantic, it literally says they share one heart and they share angel wings. This has got to mean something right? I absolutely agree, the attack was super cute and I would definitely give a point to the romance team! Except….if you pay close attention to the feathers of the angel wings you can actually see memories on them. The memories aren’t just of Sora and Kairi, they’re of all of the Guardians. This means that One Heart isn’t just a Sora and Kairi attack, it’s a unified Guardians attack where they draw power from all of their friends. There is also the fact that Sora and Riku their own unified team attack with the Combined Keyblade, commonly called “The Gayblade” because it is literally rainbow colored, where each half of the boys’ Keyblades create a unified winged heart which holds Sora’s crown at the top and has a paopu fruit attached to the keychain. They share a single heart with a single paopu fruit. Every piece of “romantic” symbolism is there and yet Sora and Riku are still referred to as friends or brothers. Unlike Sora and Kairi’s attack which includes the other Guardians, their combined keyblade is strictly theirs alone. If the Combined Keyblade is not romantic, then One Heart certainly isn’t.

With each new shared moment Sora has with Kairi, there is a near-identical moment Sora shared with Riku. From the energy Sora himself exudes down to the symbolism. Sora’s demeanor doesn’t change between Riku and Kairi, so we can not say “He is friendly with Riku but lovey-dovey with Kairi”. If there was a clear difference in Sora’s behavior towards them trust me I could admit to it, but there isn’t. The nail in the coffin is when Sora and Kairi get to the Final World and he directly states that he and Kairi looking around the Final World was a moment with a friend.

The bottom line is that Sora still views Kairi as a friend despite having a crush on her. He hasn’t reciprocated her feelings of wanting to be together forever, he’s made no advancement in their relationship. I honestly believe there was more advancement in KH2 where he imagined himself dancing with Kairi after watching Jack and Sally, that was an unquestionably romantic moment. The only other moment in KH3 would be when he held Kairi’s hand on the way out of the tunnel and imagined Rapunzel and Flynn together who are definitely a romantic couple, however he immediately thought of Elsa and Anna afterwards which is an example of sisterly love, not romantic. Sora was thinking of love as a whole, platonic and familial love included not just romantic love. 

Sora and Kairi : Future

So where does Sora and Kairi’s relationship go from here? As of now Sora is lost in the void somewhere between the Final World and an alternate universe with Yozora, and Kairi is in a self-induced coma with no sign of coming out of it yet. It will probably be a long while before the see each other in person again. I must also note that Kairi believed that her heart would lead them all to clues on Sora’s whereabouts but after a year of searching her heart nothing came up. This is concerning, since we’re at a point where we’re being led to believe that their hearts’ bond is growing stronger, they share all these moments together and now we’re being told Kairi’s heart has no traces or clues of Sora found for an entire year, yet Riku has a recurring dream and Fairy Godmother suspects his dream will lead everyone to Sora. Does this mean that Kairi’s bond with Sora is weaker than Riku’s? Or is her connection to Sora weakening overall? How can that be when the two shared a paopu fruit, their connection should be stronger than ever right? 

This is where Sora and Kairi’s relationship may take a turn for the worst. The paopu fruit scene has been widely considered the moment that Sora and Kairi’s relationship became canon and means they’re dating (some even said married??) but as I said earlier there is an immense issue with it. They did not actually share a single paopu fruit like the legend described, instead they ate two separate fruits and fed them to each other crossing their arms in the process. As many have theorized, most notably the Sleeping Realm Theorists, this may have doomed Sora and Kairi to be star-crossed lovers, where all the forces of nature will actively work to tear them apart. There is evidence behind this theory because Sora makes several statements where he shows that he is okay with not always being with those he cares about, most likely in reference to Kairi.

Sora and Kairi may end up having a relationship where they accept that they can never be together. Or perhaps, Sora and Kairi won’t accept that and will always fight to stay at each other’s sides. Only time will tell, but I believe the overall theme of Kingdom Hearts 3 is learning to accept that you’re not always going to be with those you care about, and to enjoy the time you do get to spend together.

I’m sure this analysis may have annoyed some but I ask that you please hear me out. Sora viewing Kairi as a friend is not bad, it means there is room for change. For growth. Sora may view her as a friend now, this doesn’t mean he will in future titles. Or maybe he will. We’re at the end of the Dark Seeker Saga and Sora is just now learning about love, I’m sure Sora will learn what love means to him in later titles.  He’ll fall in love eventually….When he gets swept away by Riku’s heroism and learns that he’s the light, bwahaha! >:)

Sorry, had to be a tad biased. Naturally I want Soriku to win.  ;-P

okay so this is like, one of the SAPPIEST things i’ve written I think! it’s also 3.7k words!

“I like you,” Kirishima said.

Katsuki stared at him. The redhead seemed to squirm under his gaze, lower lip bitten between his stupid-sharp teeth, eyes flicking away from Katsuki’s face to somewhere on the ground. When Kirishima had begged and pouted until Katsuki had agreed to take them both hiking, this was not the conversation Katsuki had been expecting to have once they reached the top.

That didn’t mean it was something unwelcome.

Kirishima drew in a deep breath, squared his shoulders, and met Katsuki’s eyes again. “I like you, Bakugou. Um. A lot. So I was wondering if maybe I could ask you out on a date?”

Contrary to popular belief, Katsuki was actually quite familiar with his feelings. It didn’t mean that he always agreed with them. In this case, however, Katsuki embraced the warm and golden glowing bubble that cast its light through his entire being like a miniature sun. Happiness wasn’t enough of a word to describe it.

Katsuki didn’t let his voice waver when he replied to his best friend. “Ask, then.”

“Oh, uh,” Kirishima swallowed with an audible gulp. “Would you want to go on a date with me?”

There was only one thing that Katsuki could say.

“Hey Katsuki, what’s your plan after Yuuei?”

Katsuki frowned slightly and paused his braiding of Eijirou’s hair. “Plan? For what?”

“Oh, like,” Eijirou waved one of his hands around, leaning back into Katsuki’s chest. “You gonna sidekick first? Or go pro straight from the get-go.”

“Pro, obviously,” Katsuki said. “Gonna open an agency an’ everything. I’ve got the reputation to pull it off already.”

“Yeah, I guess you do,” Eijirou said, dropping his head backwards onto Katsuki’s shoulder. Katsuki peered at his face and Eijirou grinned at him. There was something not a hundred-percent genuine in that grin and Katsuki almost frowned. “So are you looking for an agency building?”

“Haven’t had all that much time for it,” Katsuki said, watching Eijirou for signs of reaction to anything he was saying . “Googled some shit but I’d want to go and see wherever these places are. Can’t exactly go property hunting in the middle of term.”

Eijirou turned his head and kissed the first part of Katsuki’s skin that he reached, just under his jaw. “How about apartments?”

“Gonna have to be near the agency, so I gotta look for that first,” Katsuki said. “If I want somewhere with decent villain traffic it’ll probably be in one of the more expensive areas with a high population density. The government agency fund doesn’t cover personal accomodations, so I’ll probably have to set up a hammock in my office for a couple of months until the Heroics feedback kicks in and I start earning something decent.”

“Hm,” Eijirou said, kissing Katsuki’s neck again. As much as Katsuki wanted to indulge in that, he had a feeling that something was on his boyfriend’s mind.

“What is it?” he asked, prodding Eijirou’s cheek.

“Oh, well, um,” Eijirou pulled a slightly shifty face. “I was just- I mean. I don’t have as much of an ironclad plan at the moment…”

“So, what?” Katsuki tilted his head. “You’re lookin’ for advice?”

Eijirou’s face skewed a little more. “Not exactly. Uh. I just. Um. Would you ever, uh, consider maybe having two hammocks in your office?”

Oh.

Katsuki stared at his boyfriend and felt overwhelmed all of a sudden. Holy shit.

“Fuck, I love you.”

Now they were both staring. Katsuki could feel his cheeks heating up but damn, it was the truth, and he’d had to say it.

“What?” Eijirou said, the first of them to break out of the stupor. “You- What?”

“I love you, Kirishima Eijirou,” Katsuki said. The words tasted right on his tongue.

Eijirou sat up, twisting to face Katsuki and reach for his face. “You- You- Holy-”

“I love you,” Katsuki repeated, pushing his face forward so that their foreheads met. Now that he’d said the words, he couldn’t stop. “I love you! I fucking love you, Eijirou.”

Eijirou kissed him, hard and sweet. This kiss didn’t last all that long with Eijirou pulling back to pant through his grin. “I love you too.”

A sensation not unlike one of Kaminari’s shocks zipped up Katsuki’s spine. His stomach churned, but in a good way, like all of his insides were dancing. Katsuki felt elated, giddy even, and he wrapped his arms around Eijirou’s waist to bring him closer.

They traded words and kisses and smiles and words again, over and over and over.

It occurred to Katsuki that he hadn’t actually answered Eijirou’s question, so he pulled away slightly - and only slightly, with their noses still brushing and Eijirou’s breath hot against his mouth.

“You do know we can share a hammock, right, dumbass?” Katsuki asked.

Eijirou very being seemed to brighten at the question, and he responded with his own. “Does that mean that you do wanna live together after Yuuei?”

There was only one thing that Katsuki could say.

Katsuki wasn’t normally one for nerves in intense situations, but this was something entirely different. It wasn’t like some fight against a villain where Katsuki could explode and explode and put his feelings into action. It wasn’t remaining calm while his partner was injured, letting everything condense into a laser-focus until Eijirou was safe.

No. This were the fluttery, flurry-of-emotions type nerves that Katsuki didn’t know how to deflect into productivity. The kind of nerves that part of him enjoyed, the nerves he had felt just before leaning into his first kiss as he tangled his fingerss into red hair, the nerves that had shuddered through him in waves when he had knelt on one knee in front of Eijirou with a ring in one hand.

“Yo, how’re you hold- Ooh, not so hot,” Kyouka said, poking her head around the door. She glanced around the room and at Katsuki, who was sitting on one of the haphazardly scattered chairs. “They left you alone in here? Fools.”

“The fuck do you mean ‘they’, Headphones? You’re on my side, too,” Katsuki grumbled.

“Oh it’s Headphones right now, huh? Man you’re sweating buckets,” Kyouka said, putting her hands on her hips.

Katsuki glared at her. “No fucking kidding.”

“Hey now, it’s just Eijirou,” Kyouka said. “Think about that dumb grin he’s gonna be wearing. Just for you.”

God, Eijirou’s fucking smiles. Eijirou was easy with them, flashing a grin here, showing off a smirk there, but not that easy. Some of Eijirou’s smiles were rarer than others, and Katsuki adored drawing them out of him. Like the way Eijirou smiled when he woke up, so soft and sleepy and content. No one else got to see that.

“I love him so fucking much,” Katsuki said, groaning and burying his face in his hands. “That’s not the- Ugh. We shoulda just eloped.”

“Says Mr ‘If These Napkins Aren’t The Right Colour I’m Gonna Commit A Crime’.”

“Shuddup,” Katsuki said. “Someone who doesn’t think leopard print or pitch black tablecloths are an acceptable wedding aesthetic had to be in charge of decor.”

“So that ruled out all of your friends,” Kyouka said, grabbing a nearby chair and sitting down. “Because we’re all either from the same dimension that Hawaiian Shirt designs are stolen from, or goths.”

“Exactly,” Katsuki said. “Useless, the lot of you.”

“Denki threw a bangin’ bachelor party, though, right?” Kyouka asked.

“I guess,” Katsuki said. Pikachu had taken them all to a theme-park with enough express passes to skip the queue for any of the rides. It had been fun. He had made out with Eijirou on the ferris wheel like they were teenagers again, and no one had asked for his autograph.

“There, see? You’re smiling again, Blasty,” Kyouka said. Oh, well, the distraction had helped. “Think about how powerful you’ll feel when you can say ‘my husband’.”

“So fucking powerful.”

“Precisely! It’s a good feeling,” Kyouka grinned. “Remember when Denki kept dropping ‘my wife’ into nearly every conversation?”

“Too well,” Katsuki said, shaking his head.

“Well that’s gonna be you and Eijirou, soon. You’ll be rubbing it in everyone’s faces,” Kyouka said. Fuck, that sounded good. “Alright, final check. You got your suit on properly?”

Katsuki looked down at himself. “Pretty sure.”

“Tie, shoes, any weird decorative things?”

“All there,” Katsuki said. He was wearing Red Riot themed cufflinks, and he knew Eijirou had a matching pair with his own brand.

“Makeup and hair?” Kyouka asked, tilting her head.

“Jeez, it ain’t like this is a broadcast production,” Katsuki muttered. “But yeah. It’s all sorted. If you can’t see it then Mina did her job right.”

Kyouka studied him for a few minutes. “Vows?”

“Hell yeah,” Katsuki said. “Everything’s ready. It’s just the fuckin’ waiting.”

“Good job you don’t have to do that any more,” Kyouka said, glancing at her watch. “It’s time to go, Katsuki!”

“Oh, shit,” Katsuki said, standing. “Shit, shit, shit. Fuck, okay, let’s go.”

Everything after that was blurred by adrenaline, until he was standing up near the altar at a very familiar pair of red eyes as Eijirou approached up the aisle. Katsuki couldn’t tear his eyes away - wouldn’t, in any case. The very world was glowing.

“Hi,” Eijirou whispered, once he was standing in front of Katsuki. God, he looked so fucking handsome. “Are you ready for this?”

There was only one thing that Katsuki could say.

“Whoa!” Eijirou said, laughing from where he was pinned to the wall next to the door in their apartment as Katsuki adorned his throat in kisses. “Uh, what’s the special occasion, Blasty?”

Katsuki shook his head. “Just kiss me back already.”

Eijirou planted a smacker on Katsuki’s cheek. Ugh, he hadn’t meant like that and Eijirou knew it, judging from the mischief in his husband’s eyes.

“Gonna make me guess, huh? Was it something that happened today?”

Katsuki rolled his eyes. Fine, if Eijirou was gonna be like this… He leant in and began to work up a hickey on Eijirou’s collarbone.

“That’s a yes, huh? Augh, I’m gonna have to cover that u- Katsuki- Gonna have to cover that up! Was it something I did?”

Katsuki nibbled his way up Eijirou’s throat up to his ear.

“Hmm, was it the b- Oh.”

Eijirou grabbed his face and pushed him back. The redhead was staring as Katsuki with his big wide eyes and a kind of thunderstruck expression.

“Is- So you weren’t joking, earlier? With that baby?”

Katsuki grinned at him. “Nope.”

“Katsuki!” Eijirou cried - literally, there were tears forming in his eyes. “You- Soon? Really? You’re ready for kids?”

Katsuki took in Eijirou’s radiant, adoration-filled expression, pictured it directed at a couple of rowdy brats storming around the room with blankets tied onto them as capes. Damn, they’d probably have to move into an actual house - good thing they could afford it now with their ever-growing popularity.

Katsuki pictured reading storybooks together, being woken up in the middle of the night by a kid who’d just had a nightmare, sticking scribbled drawings up on the fridge they were going to have in their big fancy-ass kitchen.

Fuck yes, he was ready for kids. He wanted to be a father with Eijirou so badly that it burned, hotter and brighter than he wanted to be the number one hero.

Katsuki kissed Eijirou, as deeply as he could when his husband was bearing that big goofy grin of his.

“Oh my god,” Eijirou said, arms sweeping around Katsuki’s waist to lift him up and spin the pair of them across the room. “You wanna be a dad with me?!”

There was only one thing that Katsuki could say.

“She hasn’t had the best start to life,” the social worker said, looking at her paperwork with a troubled expression. Katsuki didn’t remember her name but Eijirou definitely knew it. “She doesn’t remember all that much - as she was very young - but her birthparents were villains and she was retrieved during a raid on their house. She was rather neglected.”

“Sounds a little like Eri,” Eijirou muttered, and Katsuki grabbed one of his hands to try and stop him from clenching his fists too hard.

“She’s been responding well to her foster family and making progress on all of her developmental targets,” the social worker continued. “But ideally we’d like to get her to a permanent family as soon as possible, so if you’re unsure about proceeding after you’ve met her, let us know as soon as you can so we can go back to looking for another match for her.”

Katsuki nodded. The idea of giving up on the kid rankled with him already, but the rational side of his brain reminded him that if they didn’t end up being compatible, it’d be better for everyone to say so.

“She has two older siblings placed with other families,” the social worker said. “And she currently had regular contact with them. Would you be willing to accomodate this?”

“Oh, yeah, sure!” Eijirou said. Katsuki nodded again.

They had been stood outside of this two-year-old’s foster home for far too long while the social worker briefed them. Fuck, he just- He wanted to see her already.

“Alright, let’s head in.”

The social worker knocked on the door. The woman who opened the door greeted them with a smile. She was small, but kind-looking, and reminded Katsuki a little of Auntie Inko.

“Welcome!” She said, but the rest of the pleasantries flew over Katsuki’s head. Fuck, he was just too excited. They might be meeting their daughter today.

The foster carer led them into her house and into a kitchen. There. A little girl with a shock of bright, shaggy blue hair sat scribbling furiously as a piece of paper with a green crayon. Katsuki remembered from the paperwork that she was three. He didn’t know how big three-year-olds were supposed to be. Was she tall for her age? Short?

She looked up at them as they entered the room, and Katsuki felt his heart lurch. Her eyes were red. It could be something they all shared. Shit, was he about to start crying? Where the fuck was his composure, what the hell.

“Aoimi,” said the foster carer - that was the girl’s name. “We have some guests today.”

Aoimi narrowed her eyes and looked between the three new faces.

“Why?” she asked. Her foster-mother laughed.

“I thought it would be nice to have some company! Be nice to them, okay?”

“Maybe,” Aoimi said, going back to her colouring.

The foster-carer laughed again. “She has a bit of a personality on her!”

Katsuki met Eijirou’s eyes - his husband was beaming at him.

“Good,” Katsuki said, sitting down in the chair he was pointed to. “You wouldn’t wanna be boring, huh kid?”

Aoimi looked up at him again, as considering as a three-year-old could be. “Wanna see my quirk?”

The girl’s foster-mother looked like she was biting back a grimace. “Now, Aoimi-”

“Yes,” Katsuki said. He looked up at the foster-carer for a moment. “If your quirk’s not too messy to use indoors.”

“It is not,” Aoimi said, wiggling a little in her seat and sitting up straight. Her foster-mother sighed and nodded. Aoimi grinned, and Katsuki watched as the tiny girl’s teeth sharpened. Claws grew from her fingers, and blue fur began to sprout over her skin. A long, thin tail with a tuft of fur at the end of it began to wave around behind her, until the girl Katsuki was looking at was more of a cub.

“That’s pretty cool,” Eijirou said, leaning around Katsuki from his own seat to see Aoimi more clearly.

The girl nodded, teeth still bared. Katsuki thought that as she got older, her canines might even longer than they already were, like a saber-toothed cat. Aoimi detransformed slowly, fur receding and teeth shrinking back into shape. “What are your quirks?”

Katsuki held out one of his hands and let it spark a few times. “I can make explosions.”

“Whoa,” Aoimi’s eyes bugged out a bit. “That’s like Ground Zero!”

Katsuki grinned. “You could say that, yeah.”

The little girl studied him for a long moment. “You are Ground Zero.”

“Yep, my real name is Kirishima Katsuki,” Katsuki said. He pointed at Eijirou. “And the big lug over there is my husband, Kirishima Eijirou.”

“Red Riot,” Aoimi said. She seemed to be taking this quite well. “You’re here ‘cause you wanna adopt me, right? I think you should, it’d be cool to have hero dads.”

Huh.

“Aoimi,” her foster-mother said, sounding exasperated.

“I’m not stupid,” Aoimi said, jutting her chin out. “I can read.”

Holy fuck, it was like looking in a mirror, kinda. Katsuki found himself grinning even harder.

The meeting continued, with Eijirou asking more questions than Katsuki could have thought about this kind of stuff, and Aoimi herself making a pretty big impact on Katsuki. He’d known pretty much from the moment he’d met the girl’s eyes, really, but the more he talked to her, the more determined he was.

He nearly cried again when they were waving goodbye to Aoimi and her foster-mother. God, he was turning into such a fucking sap, wasn’t he?

The social worker reached her car and turned to address them.

“Well, you’ve met Aoimi now. Do you need some time to think about it, or would you like me to put that you’re happy to proceed with the adoption on my report?”

He could tell from the look in Eijirou’s eyes what their answer would be. Eijirou nodded at him.

There was only one thing that Katsuki could say.

“Katsuki! Katsuki come here!”

Katsuki bolted into the room at the sound of Eijirou’s voice. “What’s-”

“Look!” Eijirou pointed to the TV, where some sort of news was airing. “There, there, look! A pair of hero interns from Yuuei just debuted, Katsuki! Guess who it was!”

“Holy shit,” Katsuki squinted at the screen, at the bright blue blob he could just about make out talking to a couple of police officers in the background. “Aoimi?”

“Yes! I just turned the news on and there she was!” Eijirou crowed. “She and her friend on the other internship with Gevaudan apprehended a purse-snatcher with a crocodile quirk. Here, I’ll rewind so you can see.”

“She’s okay, right?” Katsuki asked as Eijirou rolled the news footage back.

Eijirou nodded, bouncing up and down in his seat like he was an excitable teenager again as the takedown of the crocodile villain happened. Her fellow intern looked to have some sort of speed-boosting or strength-based quirk and he had flung Aoimi in her cat form at the villain. She’d been big enough to pin the villain to the ground until the other intern and Gevaudan showed up.

Katsuki found himself beaming. Damn, that was his daughter.

Once Gevaudan had taken over the arrest, Aoimi reverted back to human and grabbed her friend in a tight hug. A very tight hug. Katsuki’s eyes narrowed.

“Man, I wanna call her,” Eijirou said. “I’m gonna call her, got your phone on you?”

Katsuki handed it over, and Eijirou immediately went to Aoimi’s number.

She picked up after three rings. “Dad! Pa! I debuted!”

“We saw on the news, honey!” Eijirou said. “We’re so proud of you!”

“Aw, thank you! I- Yeah, it’s my dads. -I’m so glad you saw it!”

Katsuki leant in to the receiver. “No one can keep Hellcat down! You fuckin’ killed it out there, lioncub.”

“Augh, don’t call me that baby name,” Aoimi complained, though she didn’t sound too put out. “But thanks!”

“It’s my job to call you baby names, snugglekins.”

Katsuki could see Eijirou trying to smother his laughter.

“Pa, you’re so embarrassing.”

Katsuki cackled. “Oh yeah, that reminds me - bring your boyfriend over this weekend and we’ll celebrate the two of you taking down your first villain with a proper meal.”

“Wh- N- We’re not- Shut up, Pa!”

“My mistake,” Katsuki snickered, handing the phone back to Eijirou.

“Seconding the invite, though,” Eijirou said. “Debuts are something worth commemorating!”

“Yeah, yeah,” Aoimi said. She paused and said all the rest in a rush. “We’ll be there, love you both, bye.”

Katsuki put his phone back in his pocket and leaned over onto Eijirou. “She’s growing up, Ei.”

“And growing up well,” Eijirou said, curling his arm around Katsuki’s shoulders.

“Definitely doing better than me at that age,” Katsuki snorted.

Eijirou pressed a kiss to his temple. “I think the next generation of heroes is gonna be a good one, huh?”

Katsuki turned to kiss his husband on the lips. Well, with their daughter among them...

There was only one thing that Katsuki could say.

“Whew,” Eijirou said. “I’d forgotten how much a mountain can take out of you.”

“Baby.”

Eijirou laughed, still wheezing a little from the climb. “Man, I haven’t been a baby for a long-ass time now, Katsuki, and neither have you.”

“I dunno,” Katsuki said, reaching out to grab his husband’s hand. “Ya still got a baby-face.”

Eijirou rolled his eyes, and Katsuki took a moment to let himself stare at the other man. Yeah, they might both be a little decrepit now, but Eijirou still took his breath away. A lifetime of laughter lined Eijirou’s eyes. Laughter that they had shared, so no doubt Katsuki looked much the same.

Eijirou squeezed his hand, and together they looked out over the view. It hadn’t changed much over the years. Maybe the trees had grown a little. It was still the same landscape that had stretched out before them back when Eijirou had first asked Katsuki out.

“Hey, Katsuki,” Eijirou said. Katsuki turned his head to look back at the best part of the scene. “If someone gave you the chance to go back in time, right back to when we were kids… Would you say yes onther time? Would you do it all again?”

Katsuki stared at Eijirou. What kind of fucking question was that? Did Eijirou really think that Katsuki would want to choose any other life than the one they had carved out together? With all their friends, and their daughter and their grandchildren?

If Katsuki looked back over his memories, his mind was flooded with a golden wash of joy. He’d had a good life. The best life. He had shared it with Eijirou - and fuck, they weren’t even that old yet! There were decades still ahead of them.

Would you do it all again?

There was a twinkle in Eijirou’s eye, and Katsuki snorted. His husband already knew the answer. He’d probably always known the answer.

There was only one thing that Katsuki could say.

“Yes.”

What’s a usual hangout session with you and your F/O like?

We often go out and get ice cream! The others (DDD, Bandanna Dee and my dad borb M/eta) come along too, it’s honestly a nice way to spend time while it’s so effin’ hot outside. When we get back, we play several games!

What’s your favorite thing about them? What their favorite thing about you?

My favorite thing about Kirby is how he’s super supportive! Feeling down? Kirby will find a way to cheer you up! OR. If you want a hug, he’ll gladly give you one~! He’s just THAT lovable and I’m very glad to have him as my best friend.

Kirby’s favorite thing about me is how I treat those around me (so yeah, same as R/ichter). Regardless of whether they’re a hero or villain, I treat everyone with mutual respect and that’s that. Kirby also enjoys how fun I can be as well!

KIRBY’S VOICE IS LITERALLY THE CUTEST THING YOU WILL HEAR. PERIOD. NO EXCEPTIONS. Let’s be real fam, every time he says “poyo!” in whatever way possible, I’m just...dying from the sheer cuteness of it :’D. I’d gush more, but it would take three paragraphs xDD.

What’s the coolest/cutest thing you’ve seen them do?

Too many to count, ahaha. But he told me he once beat down a false god, years back. Outside of that, the cutest thing was when he played Cupid and tried to shoot a heart arrow at my husband. He was practicing archery with ol’ Pitty Pat that day.

Which of you is most likely to prank the other? What types of pranks have they/you done?

Kirby’s surprisingly not the type to do pranks and stuff, that honor goes to DDD. But, if the time calls for it, then he would join us in pranking someone else. He once replaced a jar of mayo with a label reading “ICING”, and the look of horror on Uncle Mag’s face is priceless. (lol)

Who’s the most protective?

We’re actually protective of each other, since we’re best friends. Like, we’d do almost anything to ensure the other is safe. (also Kirby will break the knees of whoever hurt Plucky--)

What do you two do to make each other laugh?

Pretty much anything. Kirby makes goofy faces while I draw silly things (no memes though). Kirby once drew on my face while I slept, so when I woke up, I was upset at first, but instead I burst out laughing; I did look rather funny with scribbles on my face~.

What would you get them for their birthday? What would they get you?

I’d get Kirby the largest cake there is, preferably strawberry shortcake! I’d also try to find several Maxim Tomatoes and watermelons (these three things are his top favorite foods) The cake would most likely be twice my height. But he wouldn’t be greedy with it, Kirby would share the cake with everyone!

Kirby knows my interests front and back, so he’d get me something like a giant star pillow (since I get rather...sleepy ^^;;), green tea cake, or something that reminds me of our friendship! 

What was the moment the two of you realized that you would be best friends?

The moment I realized this was when he started to stay at my place more often, when, in reality, Kirby wanted to actually be my friend and keep me company. We started sharing stories to pass time, watch cooking shows, and do other things like draw! I never expected a puffball like him to be my best bud, but you know what? I’m happy to have him and everyone else as friends, because of them, I felt better about myself. ;w;

hi jo! so i have a kind of bizarre question but i'm super curious, when you're writing your fics do you have an image in your head of what the "reader" character looks like or is she more of a blank canvas for you? i really appreciate the way you give each reader character a distinct personality but keep descriptions on her appearance vague bc for me the reader in wylei looks totally different from the one in say bloom (1/2)

(and none of them look even vaguely similar to me, The Actual Reader, oddly enough lmao) and i think it's so cool how i can have an image in my head of what they look like just from the personalities you've given them if that makes sense?? i lowkey wish i was a better artist so i could share what all of your reader characters look like to me lol but yeah i was jst curious to know if you imagine them as different people too or not! I wasn’t even conscious of how I was perceiving the reader inserts, but now that I think about it, I definitely haven’t envisioned a face for any of them, but one thing that definitely sets them apart for me is their taste in fashion. I see that very vividly. They almost look like shop mannequins in my head, lol. I will say, tho, because of The Ocean’s Thrall’s setting, I see the protag with darker skin. That’s my personal envisioning. Still no face, tho adkjjwj

I’m so happy that you say that you feel like you can tell them apart, even without physical description. :DDD Seriously, that’s so lovely to hear. I know they’re supposed to be blank canvases to allow the reader to insert themselves, but because they’re lacking physical description, I like to pump more into their personality and hope that the reader can see themselves being similar if they’d shared that same upbringing/environment.

...So, I’m going to try tackling Inktober this year.

But I want to do an Art Review thing from the past... three, four. maybe even five years, because that was about the time I moved and didn’t have a scanner. And then had a ob and no time to draw. And them the family gave me the scanner but the cord was sparking. So I had to buy a new one (Which didn’t work), then had to borrow the roommate’s (who was a dick about it), and it just...

...ugh.

I have to go to the library to scan some bus passes anyways, so I wanted to go and scan my art while I was there. (I’ve..... gotten to the point of self-security in my art that I realized, I’m okay with taking the risk of someone glimpsing my pictures. As long as it’s the ones I’m okay with showing.) ...at least, on a good day;; And at a library? Who’s going to be looking, anyways?

But, here’s he catch. ;; i’ve..... kinda............ lost the 17, 20, 25 most.... recent, images...... ;;;; 

I’m fairly (questionably?) certain I put them in a folder somewhere. But, I don’t remember which folder, and I really don’t remember where I put it. And my room is currently... freaking paper purgatory.

So to entertain myself until I can finally fall asleep, I’m making a list of all the ones I can remember drawing that I don’t have right now.

~ Initial Justice League vs. Teen Titans fanart~ The things I drew of Raven when only the trailer was out and redesigned a concept for Dove’s hero outfit in the ‘verse, and the way I redesigned Dove’s casual wear soon after the movie was released.

~ Dove in meditation after DDD, working to rebuild her inner being, rediscover the Peace which is such an integral and necessary part of her, and building what she remembers of Azarath into her mindscape....

~ Lapis pictures? Just, all of them? The standing first-ever, the flying free, the feather-hair, the random lapidot moment, the ideas for crossovers with Dove.

~ Tiny Malachite tank design!

~ vents with Leyla suffering, x2. (And broken-heart vents, but I’m not so sure those count.)

~ “When It Rains” - Self-indulgent crossover between my OCs and Lapidot, because I just imagined Peridot being freaked out by Thunder, and Dove is too, so I drew Srentha comforting Dove and Leyla being uneasy and curious about These New People (who I’ve rp-cros’ed over already), and Lapis is writing “It’s okay eridot” in rainwater on the window.....

~ All the planned-but-not-quite-finished Pokemon team shots? (Really nicely composed tbh! but ADD = didn’t finish them;; )

~ Actually, that’s all I want to list because I want to give the search one last attempt before bed.

(I currently have found, in my art box where they’re supposed to be: the Evangeline picture I recently drew, my bus-stop doodles of Sucy /Blue Diamond /murkrow /Happy Eclipse, my experiment with Prisma markers for testing color placement, I never shared the earliest RWT creature with the wings so I thought I’d scan that if there’s a scanner bed big enough, half-finished layout doodles of Dove in a church pre-Titans, and the basic composition concept for a picture detailing The Vision (the really long, terrible, vivid decimating devastating vision of what it would be like to stay and see and feel and experience the destruction of Azrath and her mother and her home... and feel Trigon’s presence the entire time until it inevitably sought her out and claimed her and there would be absolutely nothing her mother could do to stop him........)

So, there are a FEW I still have. But for some reason, the ones that are MOST important to me, that I Was most eager to share, are currently MIA......

UMMMMMMMM so I kinda drew something, with pencils, for the first time in 8 years. (If not counting the one I started in 2012 but finished last year, but never posted here because they don’t look like themselves and I still don’t know what to do with the faces.)

Anyhow, this is what I started on Farin’s birthday and wanted to continue so badly every day (night) and just couldn’t do it because my brain is full of shit, until tonight. And apparently had migraine too but I hyperfocused so much I didn’t even notice the pain until I was done with this.

What do you think? I know it’s not perfect, I was kinda trying something new after “studying” different pencil drawing techniques and after learning about things like blending and... well yeah the key word here is blending. I never really blended my artwork before and wanted to try if I could do it this time and I’m pleasantly surprised, actually. Just couldn’t make the blacks black enough (and Farin’s sleeve looks like it’s 2D...), I think there was too much graphite so it didn’t really stick to the paper anymore but it still stayed looking like this so there’s not much dimensions to the blackness. But I’m very pleased with what I could do with the skin! A hint to everyone who loves drawing: eyeshadow applicators!!! I don’t use makeup myself so this was the first time ever I have even bought any makeup tools (had to even check the package for the actual name) and it was for drawing :DDD

I also suck at doing 3D-clothing so those shadows on Bela’s jacket? Ehhhhh not so good. And the bottom part of the jacket looks off because I was using the paper blender but somehow the whole texture changed and then I couldn’t save it anymore. But gotta say that the eraser pencil was the best buy EVER. Even with such thick amount of graphite, I could erase their face lines millions of times without the eraser smudging a thing!!! This saved me from so many temper tantrums because I could shade, erase, blend, erase, shade... as many times as I just wanted and it would still return to white! Amazing! (Plus the electric eraser is also incredible, I did the jacket patterns with it but then pretty much hid them with pencil since they were too thick, and did them again with the eraser pencil. But oh boy is that satisfying to watch the electric eraser go and wipe off the graphite. Me likes.)

As a final note... Note to self: Don’t f*ing choose so difficult-ass photos to draw next time!!! It might look cute and nice to draw on the monitor but once you really get to the actual drawing part, you notice how damn difficult it is actually to see anything. Like this:

The faces? Nothing but weird curves that took me ages to follow because I apparently have problems with that. Also wtf is Farin’s face even? Where the f* is his nose??? I redrew that face three times after signing the paper as finished. Then looked at it and nope, nose was too low. Nose was too round. Too small. Or too sharp! I guess it’s okay now. At least there’s nothing I can do anymore since I already applied the fixative too.

Farin’s left hand caused problems too. It looks ok in the photo but go and try drawing it. After getting every finger drawn, you feel content and happy because it’s done, then you look at the whole hand and you’re like WHAT IS THAT.

Anyhow that was my actual proper pencil drawing for the first time in 8 years and gotta say I was very very scared. Of ruining it. But I love my eraser pencil. It’s my new friend now. I kinda took this one as a practice and I already have other drawings in mind and can’t wait to get to test these techniques - and the eraser pencil! - on those!!!

If you’re looking for only perfect drawings to reblog, you ain’t going to get those from me, so if you choose not to reblog because of that, fair enough but I gotta admit it makes me a little bit sad. I can’t do perfect photorealism but I’m still learning and improving all the time and it’s (finally) enough for me, and you shouldn’t compare my drawings to other people’s art anyway because I stopped doing that, too. At Tokyo Live

*Thanks to those who responded to my post! ^^* So I got to my seat and after I was ready I messaged @jeanette-ting seeing if she got to her’s ok (we applied for tickets separately so never got to sit together 😢 ). And not long after she told me she spotted Chiharu!!! Here are screenshots of our convo 😂Thought it’d be easier than trying to explain it all lol Hopefully it’s not too small and you can all read it! (Probably better to read on mobile devices since you can zoom in!) Please excuse the spelling mistakes, as you can tell I was really excited 😂😂

If only I could have recorded him 😂 It’s not in the convo but I also saw Agematsu Noriyasu, BROCCOLI’s composer (third photo) he was sitting next to Naru, Shoutan’s kouhai in S Inc (second photo). And I couldn’t tell who it was next to Agematsu-san, but since they were next to him and Naru, I guessed it must be Satou Hiromi, S Inc’s president (third photo). Araki Hirofumi, Kento’s actor in Smile Mermaid was also there (last photo)

I seen Japanese fan reports saying that Onoken was also there but I never seen him.

The live started with a video of painter/artist Shoutan in an art studio. His Budokan Prince outfit was also displayed in the room ☺️ He was drawing a white, space-like outfit. He then turns and look straight to the camera with this expression (noticing us)

(ok not 100% this expression, he was more happy looking) and then he smiled beautifully~

Suddenly he sees something unusual and wiped his eyes to check that he wasn't seeing things. Sparkles started coming out from the drawing, he then smiled again Then Shoutan appeared on stage in that white outfit!!!

He said that the theme of this live is to make everyone's dreams come true~ He said that they've asked for fans to send in postcards with their dreams handwritten/drawn on it. Shoutan: Who has sent one in?! Fans: YAYY!! I also cheered since I sent one!

He said even in the video he was painting his dreams, like the outfits, and magic was casted making it come true~

As usual we asked him to spin XD Shoutan: "I was prepared for this lol" He spinned slowly to show us the beauty of his outfit

He said he wanted to be a robot when he was young which inspired this costume Ai-chan? lol, plus the outfit reminds me of his 5th Stage outfit but even more elegant and over the top. It was so beautiful, he suited it SO well.

Innocent

I’m always amazed when Shoutan sings this live. Because he properly hits the “Get away!!” notes and doesn’t sing them softly.

UNLIMITED

Just before the song started he took off the dress part of his outfit! So kakkoi!! It really does look like a battle plug suit XD I wasn’t sure whether to mention this or not. Shoutan stood in the middle of his dancers, as the music started, a ball from the stairs rolled down towards Shoutan. Shoutan didn’t see since it was behind him. A dancer noticed it and went to roll it away behind them straight away, then got right back into the dance, preventing an accident. I couldn’t see who he was from where I was sitting. I want to thank him for his fast reflexes and for making the performance run smoothly! The ball is really big, the size of his palm, it also looked heavy.

Shoutan's dancing gets even better and better by each live! His dancing was so slick and smooth!

Video

Painter Shoutan went to sit down, rocking his body side to side, kicking his legs back and forth, he was super adorable here! He wasn't sure what to draw, then he looked out the window and decided to draw the beach (Smile Mermaid????)

He drew a tail near the shore MARINASAMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He went to get a pot of water for going over the watercolour on the drawing. He looked at the little owl ornament sitting on his desk, smiles cutely and bopped its nose with his brush XD

He painted over the drawing and then focused on the tail.

Then the waves of the painting started to move. Shoutan who was amazed by it, smiles~

Endless Song!!!

Shoutan wore a outfit what was a mix between Marina-sama and Kaguya He wore long black hair extensions which again suits both Marina and Kaguya He had 2 blue feather rings on his right hand

He appeared at the top stage The shape of the Japanese style trousers made it look like Marina's tail He did hand movements (spin/twist) like he did in Smile Mermaid

He's so beautiful!!!!

Shoutan appeared floating above stage!!!!

He's so elegant He started to float forward and then I looked up and noticed the extension goes all the way to the bottom of the stage! 😳 He- he- he's going to come all the way over?!?! 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

He slowly made his way to the end and was lowered down

During the instrumental part he waved to everyone really elegantly *MARINA-SAMAAAAA!!*

Near the end of the song he was lifted up again and was floated back to the top end of the stage and landed there.

There was a long silence before the next song

*??? Is Shoutan ok?* Everyone else was also whispering to each other

He's taking too long before Ai No Sasamaki Goto (compared to Osaka) I can hear faint noises coming from his mic.

I think he's stuck or something!? >< Since it was dark I couldn't see clearly, but I seen his silhouette and he was struggling fixing something >< *me whispering* "Ganbare! Ganbare! Shoutan ganbare!"

Shoutan: I always ask for costumes to be long, and you can't turn round with long costumes. *looks at his back* Mawaranain desu yo ne. (You really can't turn round in this)

Ai No Sasameki Goto

He stayed at top stage and he sang in a dome(see photo above), the effects were so beautiful, the dome rotated to open up. I was really, really happy to hear this since it's one song which I really love and was a little disappointed when he never sang it at Budokan. During the instrumental part he waved to all of us really elegantly

Sora Wa Toumeina Chika

Shoutan was still at the top and he walked down during the first verse of the song.

Talk

He said that he showed us umi no sekai (sea world) again~ He was really formal and elegant with his words when he started to talk XD Lol he said even his way of speaking has changed with his outfit XD He mentioned about his outfit and talked about the extensions, he said he also got to design the outfits this time again

We asked him to spin, as usual XD He slowly spinned round and stopped to show us the details of the back✨ He said he selfishly wanted a train for the outfit (for Marina) ii yo Shoutan!! It's beautiful! ^^

There was a slight pause again before the talk.

Shoutan: I'll be honest with everyone. We are having some technical difficulties just now, I'm really sorry.

Shoutan: During my second live, there was 2 performances, afternoon and night performances. And during the afternoon performance we had technical trouble too, so I ended up singing Tenshi No Inori in acapella.

Shoutan: Ah, chotto matte... (Wait a second) *bends down to the floor to pick something up*

Shoutan: ...re's a... *holds mic properly* There's a ladybug here

*The camera zooms in* He used his two index fingers to pick it up. He was trying so hard! But it kept falling because he had no nails!

After so long, Shoutan gave up and swept it away with his hand instead!!!

He was trying to save it at first but looks like he may have ended up killing it instead 😂😂😂 Poor ladybug

Shoutan got up and he talked a bit more about his outfit

He walked round in a huge circle so that he could turn round without getting tangled in his train.

It looked so funny and we all laughed XD

Shoutan: Nani waratteru no? (What are you laughing about?)

Shoutan: So in December last year I starred in a Stage Play, a story about a Mermaid Princess Shoutan: Aoi Shouta wa otoko de wasurenai yo ne (You guys haven't forgotten that Aoi Shouta is a guy right?)

Shoutan: There were some who've said/thought, "ah, that's right, Aoi Shouta is a guy" Shoutan: Yes, Aoi Shouta is a guy 😂😂😂

Shoutan: Ja otoko rashiku utaimasu (Then, I'll sing like a man~)

Murasaki

Shoutan: Mairimasu!! “Hito yo~ hito yo ni hitomi goro~” He never did Murasaki dance again this time either, the end of the song was the same a the MV where he twirled his hands

We all changed colour from red, blue to purple well✨

I seen the wire coming down and the fabric behind and under him *is he going to fly again and like Budokan?!?!*

Turns out it was just to raise all the fabric, but it was truly beautiful! *__*

Ai Uta

He held his mic like he did in Budokan again while singing

He also went down to perform on the extended stage, at the last chorus, he laid down in the middle of the circle that his dancers made. The camera shot a aerial view and the effects along with the dance were amazing! If I seen correctly, that part of the stage spinned him round

Dancers and band members intro In the video, Painter Shoutan wrote each dancers’ name on the screen and introduced them one by one as they did a short solo performance It was the same for band members

RUN!! RUN!!

He wore a purple hoodie with checkered shorts and orange trainers. His hoodie had 29 on it for his age XD Pompoms were attached to his back it looked so cute like a tail XD He then took them and danced with them Half way/three quarters through the song he threw the pompoms away and took a huge prism flag (it was taller than him), he spinned, threw it up and caught it when it came back down! So amazing!!! Seeing him perform this live made me love this song even more!

START!!

He sounded even cuter in the way he sang this! And he looked so adorable waving the flag around in his outfit! We chanted “Let’s START!!” in the chorus. The flag looked really heavy though and you can hear him getting a bit tired from time to time ><

Again we asked Shoutan to spin XD He jumped and spinned to show his outfit XD

So there's 29 on this outfit Yep, I'm 29 until August this year! He talked about Hajime (keyboard player) lol his hair is still amazing as ever XD Shoutan: I'm going to be 30 soon~

So there's a number written on my outfit, what is this "29"?? Fans: Shoutan's age!! Shoutan: This number, is my age until August 11th this year!! XD I'll be even more otona- otoko like!! (Lol otona is adult but he wanted to say be more manly otoko 😂)

*music starts* Already had my flag ready~ Shoutan: "Jyaa!! I'm going to sing close to every one!!!" Ehh what?!?! 😳 He runs to the right side of the stage and gets on a cart!!!!!!!!!!

He sang and waved to everyone in all directions while slowly going round! Wait, wait, wait! Is he? Is he going to come here too?!? >___< *thinking back to 5th Stage, because Saitama Arena is too big, you can't make it round the arena in one song* he's going to come here!! 😭 I think he looked over to my direction when he was at the bottom right of the stadium 😭😭😭 When he made his way over to my side he was so close!!!

He looked like he was about to fall at one point!! *Shoutan be careful!!!* O__________________________O

Shoutan being professional as he is, never seemed to react, I don't even know if he looked at Chiharu or made eye contact since he had his back towards me

Oh yeah, I looked over to Chiharu every now and then from the start of the live, and he was actually pretty chill throughout the whole live and didn’t wave his light stick much lol. Guess he is sitting at the special section after all, he’d attract too much attention with no one else waving their lights XD

At the end they extend the music and Shoutan got us all the song the “lalala” parts a few times ^^

Painter shoutan couldn't think of what to draw and was pretty down 😢 He starts working out doing stretches, sit ups, then he tried weight lifting but couldn't do it, it was so cute 😂

Then he finally came up with an idea and started drawing and painting the outfit He had a big satisfied smile He was drawing a prince outfit

Shoutan goes to sleep. Wakes up and sees the sparkles coming from Budokan prince outfit and sparkles from the drawing mixing together The magic sparkles gathers on Shoutan Once again, he showed a really beautiful smile

The stage was dark and he appeared at the top of the stage in that Prince outfit.

We all cheer and then it was silent while he made his move, slowly but coolly. He walked to the right side of the stairs. He sat at the top of the stairs

He walked a bit further down before sitting

Kimi No Kotoba Ballad ver

The music starts Shoutan slightly missed the start of the song because he walked further than he was supposed to 💦*me whispering ganbare!* He forgot some of the lyrics near the start *ganbare Shoutan!!* but he picked himself back up

The performance was so beautiful and I was so touched by it once again

Himitsu No Kuchidzuke

As usual, fanchanting to this was so amazing and fun!!!

*Saying this fast*"Fukaku... "karemete ageru?" He said ageru in a higher register sounding like a question

He gave us 3 kisses instead of the usual 2! And we got to hear them loud and clear 💕

He said the lines more aggressively than usual, he was too kakkoi!!! 。・゜・(ノД`)・゜・。

If I remember correctly he came to the bottom of the stage for parts of song!

Couldn't quit hear his kisses here, the same happened in Budokan

And the ending instead of a kiss, he held his index finger to his lips (like shhhh) >///<

Now, chanting to this was also amazing!!!!! We were all so hyped up! Shoutan was extra kakkoi, and aggressive as he said in his blog ✨ He performed part of the song at the bottom of the stage.

The guys were amazing and that's when I noticed there was a guy sitting not too far from me. His cheering was amazing XD

Shoutan talked about the band members Shoutan: Everyone loves curry and only eats curry We usually have lunch box meals prepared, even today the meal they had was curry.

Shoutan to Taka-nii (drummer): What did you think of the fans? Taka-nii: Yappari dansei no koe ha sugokatta (The guys’ voices were amazing after all XD)

Shoutan spoke to Masu papa calling him papa as usual XD Masu papa: Papa wo yamete (stop it with the papa) 😂 And we all shouted papa XD He talked about Shoutan's talents again and also mentioning how Shoutan had 4 outfits

Shoutan: Even years ago I wouldn't think I'd be here like this like this, it’s really thanks to everyone. We all cheered and thanked Shoutan too Shoutan: No, I mean, without everyone I wouldn’t have been able to hold a live! You can’t hold a live with no one attending!!

The dance!!!!! It was SOOOO kakkoi! and then it went cute and girly during “Everybody go~ Everybody now~” parts!! Choreography during instrumental part: he walked from left to right in line with the dancers, each dancer stopped one by one as Shoutan walked on.

Shoutan: I said before that the time will fly by and the time has really gone by, it's nearly the end

We chanted: Shoutan! Shoutan! It felt really long and it was tiring, but 3/4 through it I decided to cheer even harder!! The girl to my left cheered from time to time, but when she did she was loud and clear (have more confidence and don't be afraid to cheer for Shoutan!!!)

Not many people around me cheered, but even when it went quiet where I was, I never stopped once (apart from when I kinda choked a bit lol). It felt long but not as long as Osaka.

SHOT A LOVE

Shoutan came back! And of course in the Live Tshirt! He wore the same bottoms and boots as his Prince outfit And... WHAT IS THAT ON HIS HEAD?! XD He wore an Optopus hat, he looked SO cute!!

Everyone's postcards showed on screen! They’re all so cute! 90% of them drew illustrations and wrote a message. My Japanese friend’s one was shown! ^^ I didn’t see mines appear, maybe in Tokyo!

I can hear Shoutan but where is he???? HE’S ON THE CART AGAIN BUT THIS TIME BETWEEN 1ST & 2ND FLOOR!!! So high up! The cart has so many of our postcards stuck on it!! Not many people did short choreography, but we all chanted “SHOW TIME!”

Half way through SHOT A LOVE, TRUE HEARTS started! Towel out!!

Summer Dreamin’

The song switched to Summer Dreamin’!

There's also a short dance to Summer Dreamin which @moirica taught me before hand (thank you!) and I did noticed quite a number of people knew it as well which was good!

Back to SHOT A LOVE!

As usual, he ran round stage really cutely during the instrumental part ^^ I didn’t see my postcard here either, but I may have missed it as I was looking back and forth between Shoutan and the screen ^^;;

I can’t remember which song the confetti bursted and fell down. I tried really hard (1. because I promised some friends that I would try to catch one 2. because I never got any from Budokan and I wanted to get Prism’s for the memory) but I managed to catch ONE strip!!!

@kuroitsukinohime I’ve been so busy that I can’t even remember if I told you, but I got us one!!! I’ve already split it all between all my friends and don’t have any left ^^;;

He said it’s his first time performing a live in Osaka and he's really happy and glad.

About his hat, he said he went looking for something with Osaka in mind, he found the big one first, then he found the smaller one and decided he had to put them both together (on top of each other) XD At first he said takoyaki (it's a food) and then he corrected himself and said he meant tako (octopus) instead 😂 He said he wanted to sing close to everyone so he road a cart, and even asked to be on the 2nd floor, the staff helped moved him along. He said everyone’s dreams (postcards) was stuck on the cart and the ones that couldn’t fit in got shown on the screen.

Shoutan: It's my first time performing a one man live in Osaka, and to be able to participate in this theatre. Shoutan: Let's take a photo!

At first he said to do a peace sign Then him and the staff got into position and he turned round again, and asked us, we said we wanted to make an "S" instead for Shouta ^^

So we went with that again ^^ Cameraman: Hai! 3, 2, 1, cheese~ *Silence~* We took about 3 photos or so and it was the same each time 😂😂😂

That’s the Octopus hat lol He said that last year he got to perform in Anime Kouhaku Utagassen, and it was in Yoyogi too, he thought it'll be nice if he could hold his own live there too one day~ And he's here!!

Shoutan: Then to celebrate/for the memories! (I can't remember which one he said) let's take a photo together!! I don't want do be alone so let's take one with the dancers and band too! As usual, let's make an "S"!!

Melodia

I started tearing up during the instrumental part after the second chorus He sang "Minna ga ireba" just like he did in Budokan instead of "Kimi ga ireba" ^^ The music to Melodia played in the background and Shoutan introduced all the members once again. He lined up in the middle of them, hand in hand *Without a mic*Shoutan: TRULY, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR TODAY!!!!

His voice cracked so much because he was shouting so hard! Poor Shoutan!! Some of us laughed. Shoutan waved and said thank you to all of us, he went to every side and every direction, thank you Shoutan!

He blew us all a kiss before he left for good. Once the live ended they played the instrumental of flower.

This Live lasted just under 3 hours (shorter than Budokan). I’m not sure how long Tokyo Live lasted as I never kept a tab on times.

Some things I’ve forgotten when it happened

Shoutan was meant to say he changed outfit, but he made a mistake and said something else which sounded similar and it was so cute!

Instead of getting each floor to cheer, Shoutan got: everyone, girls and guys. Again the guys’ voices were amazing, and again there was one guy really close to me XD Some guys on the 1st and 2nd floor on my left cheered really hard at times and they REEEALLY love Shoutan 😂

Thoughts

It felt SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO short!! Both times as well! As soon as he said it was the last song after S I couldn’t believe it!! Both lives were amazing, but I wasn’t quite feeling it in Osaka for some reason? I couldn’t remember much very well either :/ I was able to enjoy Tokyo Live a lot more and felt more emotional (which is normal for me) Poor Shoutan though, there was so much trouble at Tokyo!! But things like that makes it more fun and interesting! Fav performances: DDD Endless Song Ai No Sasameki Goto Murasaki RUN!! RUN!! Zutto... S Checkmate flower I was disappointed that he never sang Brilliant Moon (super grateful he sang it at Budokan!) and Why, pessimistic? It would have been the perfect set with Checkmate and flower!! But I guess 3 dance songs in a row would be too much ^^;;

Fav parts of the live? It’s the same no matter what event it is. It’s to be able to see Shoutan’s smile. I always look forward to that and he gave me another happy day to remember ^^ I would still say that I love Budokan Live the most. Prism was amazing but that happiness I felt at Budokan cannot be replaced. Every single moment was precious and I received so much when I expected nothing. Even when I received Shoutan’s sign at Hatsukoi Monster Event, I was extremely happy of course, but Budokan is still the happiest day of my life.

So I’ve changed my style a bit and tried to make it more report-like than my usual personal ones. I skipped out way more of my reactions and thoughts compared to my Budokan report. I skipped out about buying goods and things in between. Haven’t included much photos of my own.
